Jamaal was incredible!! Communication was professional and easy the entire process leading up to our day. He showed up on time ready to rock and played the exact kind of music we wanted. We gave Jamaal probably 10 songs and he turned it into two perfect hours!! Would highly recommend Jamaal we were so impressed!

Rescued my wedding!!!

We hit the absolute jackpot with DJ Jamaal for our wedding! From the very beginning, I was completely lost on how to pick a DJ and felt so awkward and uncertain on our calls. Jamaal was incredibly generous with his time and guided me through the whole process. He has this amazing ability to read the room—which is exactly what he did on our calls, sensing my hesitation and stepping in with helpful suggestions.

He clearly knows weddings inside and out and knew exactly how to coach me through my choices. He ensured I added things I didn't even know I needed—for example, I completely forgot to pick a processional song for my husband and me to depart the ceremony! He guided me on the perfect timing for every song and flagged gaps in my plan that I never would have thought of on my own.

That talent translated perfectly to the wedding itself. He listened to all our instructions (a mix of rock, 80s, and pop, with no line dances!) but also expertly read the dance floor. He created the perfect vibe for every single segment of the day: a welcoming atmosphere, a beautiful ceremony, a fun cocktail hour, a smooth dinner, and a truly epic dance party.

We had a great mix of kids and adults, and DJ Jamaal had everyone dancing all night long. He was also a fantastic MC for all the announcements, captivating the crowd without being over-the-top. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. If you want a DJ who is not only incredibly skilled but also a wonderful and supportive professional, look no further than DJ Jamaal. He is simply amazing!

Best dj ever!

DJ Jamaal came highly recommended by a fellow DJ to bring the noise for CAC’s Annual Holiday Party and we are SO amped that he did.

From our first walk through to the night of the party, working with Jamaal was a dream. Communication was great during our planning period and he helped drum up ideas to get the crowd engaged if there were lulls in the evening. On the day of the party, he set up our space with uplighting to make it truly feel like a Winter Wonderland and played the best music to engage the crowd - we had no lulls and the dance floor was packed until teardown!

A great dj

We first experienced DJ Jamaal at another wedding and had never had so much fun on the dance floor. From that moment, we knew we wanted him for our own wedding, and he absolutely delivered. From start to finish, Jamaal created an unforgettable experience that kept our guests dancing all night long.
He has an incredible ability to read the room and play the right song at the right time, seamlessly transitioning between dance music and background music during dinner and special moments. Best. Dj. Ever!

We found Jamaal when we attended a friend's wedding that he was DJing for, so when it came to our own wedding, my husband and I thought it was a no brainer who we wanted to hire! Jamaal is truly the best to work with. He's down to earth, easy to talk to, but has his stuff organized and is ready to help! He came prepared with a document to help us sort out what we wanted so he could provide the best service. We specifically wanted an EDM Power Hour, and man did Jamaal provide!

Our guests could not stop raving about how much fun and how great the music was. Once the party was started, there was not a single moment that the dance floor was scarce or dry.

We highly recommend upgrading to the package with the sound sensitive lighting too - it really just elevated the party to the next level. Regardless of wedding or other event, Jamaal is the absolute best choice for music needs! Couldn't of had the caliber of wedding we did without him!

Parents 50th Anniversary Party

DJ Jamaal was recently part of my parents 50th anniversary party. He was amazing at my wedding and my sister’s wedding, so we knew exactly who to call when we started planning my parents party. He is so easy going and very professional. He played all the songs my parents requested. Our guests are still talking about the music and how much fun they had. The goat!

Jamaal was amazing to work with. He’s super professional, easy to talk to, and genuinely kind, which made the whole process simple and stress-free.

I was a super stressed and overwhelmed bride, and Jamaal completely rolled with the punches. He gave guidance when I wanted it, answered every question, and stayed patient when I was slow getting him details he needed to plan the day. That support was such a relief.

My goal was to feel like I was out dancing at a club, and he absolutely made that happen while still keeping the older crowd happy. He took my inspiration playlists and built a night that fit everyone’s taste, nailed all the ceremony and official music with almost no direction from us, and kept the dance floor going nonstop. He even made a custom mix out of two versions of a song I couldn’t choose between, which was such a cool personal touch. At one point it was a struggle to leave the dance floor (even for a quick restroom break, lol) because every song was another favorite.

Jamaal actually mixes live and listens to the crowd, so the music never felt cookie-cutter, it just flowed. From ceremony to reception, he knew how to read the vibe and catered to it. We got so many compliments about him. I’d recommend him 1000/10 to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to read the room and make the night unforgettable!!!

Best night of my life

Our wedding was the best night of our lives, and choosing Jamaal was the best decision we made. Hire Jamaal Now!

Jamaal is quite possibly the best DJ available - we recently got married out of state (PA, based in Baltimore, MD) and Jamaal navigated an errant bridal party of 17 (!), the first snow of the season (could not rehearse and a few bridesmaids could not make the trip - so many moving parts) and me, a very stressed out, type A bride that was about to crawl out of my own skin with anxiety due to all of the mishaps - Jamaal handled all of this smoothly and like a champ. He deserves 10 stars for that alone. Jamaal wrangled our giant bridal party that had fully enjoyed the getting ready process (this was no small feat, most of the groomsmen were feeling REALLY good) and got us all into the reception and into our first dance. Jamaal always sets a great vibe and we partied all night - it was great and perfect. We cannot say enough great things and people cannot stop talking about the music at the wedding. A fun fact is that this was my second wedding and Jamaal was the DJ at my first wedding - he is so good that my 2nd husband agreed we needed to hire him for our wedding despite using him for my first wedding. He also DJed at my husband's cousin's wedding too! HIRE HIM NOW. you will not regret it - as a repeat customer (LOL) - he is great and you will have the best time ever with the best vibes.

From the beginning, Jamaal was very much on the same wavelength as my fiancé and I. He understood the type of wedding we wanted and the music we wanted, and he delivered fully. He was flexible to work with, always responded within 24 hours, and guided us through every decision he needed from us. On top of that, he was affordable, polite, and professional with all of his announcements. He showed up well ahead of time on our wedding day and had everything setup and ready to go no problem. Best night ever!

If you are looking for a great affordable DJ who will keep your party going and will not disappoint look no further than DJ Jamaal! I was recommended to Jamaal through a family member and was so impressed with his laid-back demeanor and his ability to be as involved as you needed him to be. Jamaal was very flexible with My wife and I as we had to reschedule our meetings and were scrambling a bit towards the end of our wedding prep. Jamaal on the day of played just about every song on our must play list and we got compliments on him all night. Jamaal effortlessly was able to change a song he played that my wife did not like and blend it right into a new song that got everyone pumped up without any problems. DJ Jamaal is extremely professional, flexible, and will make sure your special day runs smoothly. He was able to provide music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception without a hitch. Jamaal is the best!

Working with Jamaal for our wedding was like teaming up with an old friend. He always made us feel super comfortable, asked the important questions, was incredibly professional but also very relaxed at the same time. He was incredibly flexible for us on the day of our wedding as we were holding out until the very last minute to squeeze in our outdoor ceremony after several hours of rain. He did multiple setups to accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He also did the uplighting in our reception space. Everything ran smoothly and our guests loved the music. We love to dance and he played a lot of our pre-selected songs but also mixed in others that all fit with vibe of our night. I can’t recommend Jamaal enough!

Amazing!!!

Jamaal was amazing!!! He was responsive, gave advice when I had questions and worked with me to make our day perfect. More details:
My (now) husband and I first met Jamaal when we went to see him DJ at a bar in Baltimore. After seeing what a natural he was, we decided to hire him. Jamaal proceeded with clear communication of what he offers and sent over prices/packages. He was timely with everything, and when my husband and I fell behind on our timeline, or forgot anything, Jamaal was on point for reminding us of anything we forgot and very understanding of how hectic wedding prep can be. He really made this experience stress-free and showed us that when we hired him to do the job, he did so with professionalism, no hesitation, complete knowledge of his practice, and left our guests just raving about how great our DJ was.
Jamaal was the perfect DJ for us because when we sent him our list of songs we preferred to be played, we told him to just consider those but that he was the master and judgment was left to him.
Not only did Jamaal play almost all the songs on our extensive list, AND keep our two "do not play songs" from getting played, but also the transitions between songs were FLAWLESS! Even when music genres did not go together, incredibly, the flow from one song to the next was smooth and enjoyable! During the wedding Jamaal was also a big help in keeping the wedding timeline going. As bride and groom, we were so budy talking with guests and dancing, that sometimes we forgot when the next thing needed to happen (first dance, cake cutting) but Jamaal was there to respectfully remind us and check in once or twice to make sure things ran smoothly and that everything was going as we liked.
As the MC, Jamaal was not overpowering (not always on the mic and taking over the wedding, but not non-existent). Jamaal was flexible with my husband and I when we couldn't meet in person the week before the wedding to go over final details with him, so instead we did a conference call. Jamaal got all the details correctly, going over how everyone's names were pronounced for the bridal party entry to the reception, going over the timeline, verifying which songs to play, and during the wedding was able to shorten the song for my husband's and my first dance with a smooth fade out (without it being obvious we didn't want to dance to the whole song. We have a lot of friends getting married in these next couple years and we will most definitely be recommending Jamaal to all of them!

I could not have been happier with my choice to use Jamaal as a DJ for my wedding, he was nothing but excellent from start to finish. He is extremely responsive, and very willing to work with you to make the vision for "your big day" come to life. He makes sure he understands your preferences in both overall style and music taste, and has great tips and suggestions to help your vision come to life. He continually made it clear (and proved many times) that he is available for anything you may need. It was always a pleasure communicating with him, he put me at ease from the first moment I reached out.

My wedding was planned to be outside for both ceremony and reception, but the weather did not cooperate, so 2 days beforehand we made the choice to enact our indoor backup plan. Jamaal went out of his way to secure lighting to make sure that my venue would look its best, and this really helped transform the venue and set the right atmosphere. That, combined with his overall persona and all the music he played combined to make one great party! All of our guests had a great time, and I would highly recommend that you stop your search for a DJ and reach out to Jamaal, it will be the best choice you can make!!!!

Jamaal has a simple saying "your wedding, your way". Jamaal was great to work with throughout the entire experience. He was receptive to our ideas and also had some good ones of his own. He helped us structure the big day because we did not have a wedding planner. During the day he was very flexible, on point and completely prepared for every moment. Jamaal was great! We had a couple of last minute changes and had rearranged some things and he was right on top of it and kept up with all of it! We had sent him our list of songs and just told him to go from cocktail/dinner music and gradually move into dance songs and all of the transitions were great. Jamaal is GREAT to work with. He is very responsive and went above and beyond several times to ensure that our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (he did all three!) were perfect. He went out of his way to select songs that captured the elegant and classic ambiance and mood we wanted to achieve.

Jamaal went out of his way to meet me at my venue twice to ensure that everything would run smoothly on the big day - he even came to my rehearsal! I am forever grateful - I wanted to walk down the aisle to a song with my bridesmaids, and the song needed to be timed perfectly so that I would walk at the crecsendo - Jamaal went out of his way to make sure this happened correctly. On the big day, my husband got teary eyed as I walked down the aisle. This, to me, is priceless, and the absolute best moment of my life; and Jamaal helped to create that memory for me.

Jamaal was just great to work with - when my check didn't reach him right away due to Election Day and Veteran's Day, Jamaal was understanding and even told me not to worry! This is EXACTLY what a bride needs to hear right before the big day!

On the big day, Jamaal did a great job - several guests commented that he was the best DJ they had ever experienced, and NOT ONCE was the dance floor empty. We had a crowded dance floor to the very end, which is something I have never experienced before.

We hired Jamaal on the advice of another DJ who we knew but was unavailable, and it was a great decision! The price was right in line with what we were expecting. Jamaal kept the party moving, the dance floor was packed all night and he worked all of our special requests into the evening. Jamaal was calm, organized and professional. When my wife and I first met with him we decided to hire him. Jamaal is a true professional, he knows what he's talking about and he absolutely was vested to make this the best wedding possible.

I already knew Jamaal would help to make our wedding special since I've known him for years prior to booking. He absolutely did not disappoint. Professional, helpful and timely. We met a month before the wedding to go over all of the steps, and it was a very pleasant experience for myself and family. Made us feel very comfortable that all of our needs would be handled and there wasn't anything to worry about on that tip. Day of the wedding he was there well before all of the guests arrived and it was a seamless setup. Although we only scheduled him for half of the time at the wedding, Jamaal didn't just up and leave as soon as the clock struck, he ensured that we were all setup to continue the rest of the wedding duration. As an added bonus, we have several "difficult" names that needed announcing and he was spot on with the pronunciation.

I would like to thank Jamaal again for his service to make our day super special, and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to host an event or wedding.

Jamaal was amazing! We already knew this going in because he DJ'd our friends wedding so we knew from that moment we wanted him at ours. DJ Jamaal of World Renown Entertainment made our wedding so much fun! We first saw DJ Jamaal perform at my cousin’s wedding so we were already familiar with his work. He’s such a nice person & was very patient with us as we planned our music playlist. He also kept us on schedule and partnered directly with our hotel coordinator for all logistics which saved us a lot of time and stress. Our guests are still commenting about how the dance floor stayed crowded from the first song to the last song. Jamaal was absolutely brilliant. Everything we could have wished for in our DJ on our special day. Jamaal took time to liaise directly with us in regards to :

He was so prepared it made us not worry about the timing of everything. Jamaal provided us with a sample time line that we could adapt. We then sent this on to our photographer, venue planner and our DJ (Jamaal). All 3 liaised in regards to time line and if it made sense. They would suggest things here and there and it just ran absolutely perfectly. We could not have asked for a better DJ on the day. All of our guests said how amazing the songs were. All we did was provide a small sample of the songs we like and the rest was filled in by Jamaal. Andrea (my wife :) and I were dancing the night away with our guests.

Oh and a sneak peak - for our mother groom dance - my mother would always laugh at the hip hop/ RNB songs I would listen to with her on the way to school, that I asked Jamaal if he would be able to play the song (before all the swear words) with the part of the song my mum always remembered, he played it perfectly and faded it out straight into our van morrison song! Unbelievable and a great moment on the night!

World Renown did a phenomenal job with our wedding. We were married outside with an indoor reception and Jamaal handled the sound/music in both locations. He is extremely professional and accommodated every special request that we had (both pre-wedding day and on-the-fly). The ceremony music, the toasts, and the mother/son, father/daughter, first dance songs were all perfect. He did play some hilariously sappy music during dinner (I think there was some Celine Dion, maybe some Toni Braxton in there?) but I'm sure if you gave him suggestions/guidelines (I didn't) he would play whatever you wanted. Jamaal was very professional and extremely easy to work with. We had specific songs we wanted played for the cocktail and dinner hours and he had no problem accomadating us. I would definitely recommend him for any event!

We hired Jamaal to DJ our wedding reception and were very pleased with his services. I am very particular about music and originally wanted to do the whole thing myself. When I realized this would be too complicated logistically, I decided to try to find a DJ who would be low key and willing to play my music selection and Jamaal delivered. He was also a pleasure to work with, as he was very responsive to all of my emails leading up to our wedding day.

Jamaal was everything that we could have possibly asked for in a DJ and then some! My Wife and I learned of Jamaal from a friend who has worked with him in the past and from the first time we met with him we knew that he was going to be someone we could get along with, rely on, and most importantly, trust. He took the time to get to know us and find out what we were looking for and from that moment on he was always extremely helpful and responsive whenever we interacted with him...and that was quite a bit

Jamaal was able to do everything we asked of him to a tee and he was also like my right hand man if I needed anything, or if there was anything I needed to know about. He somehow was able to perfectly walk the line of being informative without being annoying or overbearing. If there was something we needed to know ... he appeared and let us know. If we were running out of time and needed to get things moving ... he politely let us know without freaking us out! If a drunk family member wanted to make a speech using his microphone ... he discreetly let me know and got my permission first!

When the time came for dancing, Jamaal was able to seamlessly blend all of the quirky music requests we made and he never skipped a beat ... pun intended! He was affordable, he was fun, he was aware and on point at all times, he was accommodating and friendly, and I cannot think of one negative thing to say about him. Overall we would HIGHLY recommend using Jamaal and World Renown for whatever your event is because he's great at what he does. He's so much more than just a DJ, he's an event planner, a DJ, a facilitator/organizer, and a friend!

If your looking for a DJ for your wedding Jamaal has got you covered. Jamaal traveled pretty far for my wedding. He came recommended from a friend and he also DJ'd my sisters wedding. Jamaal played all the songs I wanted to hear and he play the songs my wife wanted to hear, but was able to blend the two in a way that it didn't disrupt the follow of the wedding. My wife and I have different taste in music selection. Jamaal was flexible with multiple set ups and was able to comfortable change on the fly when our wedding that was supposed to be outside got rained out. I would definitely recommend Jamaal to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding. He did a great job at my wedding and my sister's. He is 2 for 2 in my book.

Jamaal was awesome!!!!! I found a newly released song two days before the wedding and I wanted to use it instead of a song I had chosen earlier to walk down the aisle to. Jamaal's response was sure no problem, let me download the song, and he also told me to change what ever else I wanted.
He found a specific version of song my now Mother in law wanted for the Mother- Son dance.
Very professional, respectful, was willing to help our Wedding run as smoothly as possible, and made it very enjoyable for all ages.
I would use World Renown again for any function.

I was lucky enough to experience World Renown's work firsthand as I was a groomsmen at one of my best friends' wedding last year and Jamaal was the DJ. I was very impressed with his professionalism; despite having ethnic and difficult names to pronounce Jamaal took the time to learn them all and executed the introductions flawlessly. He also correctly matched up 7 different entrance songs to each respective couple. The dance floor was always packed, the music was on point and he handled the MC responsibilities fluidly.

When it came to my own wedding hiring Jamaal was a simple decision. I didn't even bother entertaining other vendors given my previous exposure to his work and unbelievable rate. We had a total of 17 members to our bridal party and Jamaal nailed the introductions as expected. We changed it up on him last minute and added a father-daughter and mother-son dance via text message on the way to the reception and he didn't even bat an eye. Given our Middle Eastern background we had to play some Arabic music and Jamaal worked with us to select very dance-able tracks. I was worried that our American guests wouldn't have a good time but to my surprise the dance floor was packed non stop. He then transitioned to Top 40/EDM as we requested and the party NEVER stopped.

Jamaal is an asset to any event and we are eternally grateful for his efforts in making our occasion memorable. Make the search for a wedding DJ easy and give him a call.

We used Jamaal for our wedding and I have to say, EVERYONE (including my granny and my friends) was dancing the second he started playing music. I don't think the floor emptied until they kicked us out.

All my guests told me they have never been to a wedding where there was so much great music & dancing. He played at a great level & had tons of great selections, He played all our requested songs, and was so professional when announcing all the names/dances/cake. My friends/fam are what we like to call, Party Animals, and I am so happy we had lots of fun, happy music to help celebrate & accentuate our day! He also was so great about us adding father/daughter & mother/son dances at the LAST second (seriously, last second)

Thank you Jamaal! Anyone would be lucky to have you play at their wedding.

Jamaal was amazing. I was a bit indecisive up to the wedding and requested a few last minute changes. He was so flexible and patient and was able to pull everything together. He even helped my family in pulling off a few surprises of their own! He was all around amazing. We received multiple compliments during and after the wedding on how good and fun our DJ was.
I strongly recommend Jamaal to anyone looking for a DJ! TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Jamaal was a wonderful DJ for our wedding. He was very flexible with how we wanted the night to go and the music that we wanted to hear. He was very professional, on time, and a good price for DJs in the area. He really showed that it was important that our reception night went as my wife and I had planned and he followed through with the idea that we had imagined. While some receptions require a DJ who is very "outgoing", that is not what we had planned. Jamaal did not "steal the show" from us and allowed everyone to have a great time.

Jamaal was an absolute pleasure to work with as the DJ for our wedding. He was extremely professional and responded to emails usually within 24 hours, making the process of preparing the music for our wedding as easy as could be. He was also able to find some obsure songs for our ceremony and reception and play them as we had hoped. On the day of, Jamaal's timing was perfect- everything was on cue. Additionally, he was able to get our diverse guests of various ages, styles, countries, and ethnicities all dancing!. My only wish was that we had him (and the wedding night) for longer because I would have loved to have danced more!

Jamaal recently provided DJ services for my wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Jamaal. I asked to meet him two times before my wedding day and he happily obliged. He responded to my e-mails and phone calls in a prompt manner. He was at all times courteous and professional and was incredibly easy to work with. He understood everything that I was looking for in a DJ. Most importantly, the music he provided was awesome and exactly what I wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT LONG. World Renown provided EXEPTIONAL service to us for our wedding. I truly think the DJ can make or break the event. We went to a wedding the week before which had a number of the same guests that were at our wedding however they used a different dj service and hardly anybody was on the dance floor. The vibe of the room just wasnt as lively or fun but, thanks to Jamaal Boticelli who DJ'd our wedding, our night was just perfect. Music was top of the line, his professionalism, punctuality, response time were all impeccable and his timing and presentation of everything was exeptional! So grateful to World Renown for making our night magical!

Jamaal was wonderful and he wants your wedding to be perfect. He constantly reminded us “It’s your wedding” because he wants nothing more than for you to have the best experience possible. He was consistent with the music we chose, and helped make everything flow. He was very accommodating and withstood the constant barrage of our family asking him to play a bunch of “family tradition” songs. He went out of his way to help create the best song and time lengths for some less traditional music our family wanted. He was accommodative, but also stuck with the plan that we created with him which is important when you need to keep things moving during a wedding. He was very open with what he has seen work and not work in the past based upon his extensive experience. We spoke with him several times before the wedding to discuss how we wanted the evening to go, timelines, and which songs we definitely did and did not want played.

The wedding went off without a hitch and Jamaal was a huge part of bringing everything together. He is very conscious of everyone’s time, money and expectations. His mantra of “It’s your wedding” shows what kind of person he is and what he wants to do for you.

I would HIGHLY recommend Jamaal and World Renown Entertainment to anyone having a wedding or other special event.

World Renown and Jamaal did a fabulous job at our wedding in September. He was adaptable and responsive to any and all of our requests. He provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. We gave some general ideas of the types of music that we liked and disliked, and it felt like he was reading our minds during the entire event- the dance floor was never empty!

Since our wedding we have since recommended his services to my company, where he DJed our work holiday party and another friend who decided to use him for their wedding on Dec 28th.

I would highly recommend World Renown and intend on using his services anytime I need music to liven up an event!!

Jamaal was wonderful to work with from start to finish! He kept in contact with us before the wedding, letting us know exactly what we needed to provide him with and when. He was also more than patient in working with us, as we tended to do everything last minute. As for the night of the wedding, he exceeding all expectations. He was able to transition the music from the ceremony to the reception smoothly. Even between playing songs of completely different genres, the music flowed nicely. Everyone was dancing, singing along, and having a great time all night! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better dj for our wedding!

From the beginning of setting up our services with Jamaal it was an ease. He was able to travel close to us to meet and made it very clear what is included in his services and what he would need from us. He was able to provide fantastic service with minimal conversations which was much appreciated given all the things that you need to think about when planning a wedding.

We had Jamaal do all of the introductions for the wedding and it went perfectly with no complcations with names songs or anything. As far as the wedding music he hit exactly what we were looking for. He kept people on the dance floor the whole night, including us, and that is the most important thing really.

We appreciate the ease of service and the quality of what was provided and I absolutely suggest using him in your event.

Jamaal was amazing. Super flexible and creative and just a joy to work with. We requested a few specific songs and types of music and jamaal got them immediately even if they weren't already in world renown's extensive catalogue. We had a friend serve as the emcee and jamaal walked him through using the cordless mic etc. im also quite sure jamaal would have served In this capacity extremely well. Finally, although jamaal had not played an event at our venue before, he communicated with their staff effectively and far in advance to make sure that he had all the equipment needed to have excellent sound. People loved the wedding and the music and so did we. We couldn't be more happy with the service provided by World Renown.
