Woodlawn Motor Coach was reliable, clean, and communicative. They brought our guests from our hotel to the venue and back at the end of the night. Even with a mishap where we had the wrong Marriott’s address in the contract, they managed to get there on time and get the guests to the venue before the ceremony began. We are so grateful for the flexibility and communication they provided us, as well as a great and affordable service! -

We rented a school bus for our guests with Woodlawn Motor Coach. We had originally chosen them because they were the most affordable, but we were so glad we went with them! The bus driver was great and so personable. She made friends with all of my guests riding the bus. She was prompt and arrived on time. She waited to ensure all guests made it on to the bus for the ride to the wedding, and even stayed 15-20 minutes after her designated pick-up time to wait for me, my husband, and the bridal party as we helped clean up. Great service for an excellent value! -

Katie Sent on 08/06/2013My husband and I went to a friends wedding last year and they used Woodlawn Motor Coach to get school buses that shipped everyone around. We thought it was such a good idea especially since our venue was out in the country and the hotel was about a 10 minute drive away. Initially it was hard to get in touch with someone from the company. We emailed the place and didn't receive anything back. Then my husband called and they told him to email at a different address. We did that and still didn't hear anything back. Eventually he called again and the lady said she would get back to him through email. She finally did and everything worked out great. Normally we would have given up after all of the attempts but their prices are so much better than all of the other places we researched. We wanted enough buses to be able to accomodate the entire wedding so no one had to worry about drinking and driving. This was definitely worth the money.

Sent on 05/25/2017I chose Woodlawn MC as our wedding transportation because of the good reviews from both my venue coordinator and Wedding Wire, and though it was a rocky road it fortunately all came together in the end. The value is great – we got two school buses for a very good price and they served our guests just fine. But, the customer service was atrocious. It took days to get a response from anyone at the office, and once a response was given it was consistently short and unprofessional. Carole clearly does not care about the customer, nor does she care about how she portrays the company and she was a horror to work with from beginning to end. Diana was originally the more responsive of the two contacts that I was given, but by the end she was also unprofessional and short in her responses. The two would go back-and-forth telling me to ask the other a question, and nobody could ever just give me a reasonable answer. By the end I would have to send 2-3 emails to get a simple response.
On the wedding day we had two shuttles take our guests from hotels in Baltimore to the venue and back, and one of the bus drivers somehow got lost despite apparently being given a very detailed packet on where to go, when to leave, who to contact, etc. Thankfully one of our guests had the foresight to call our wedding coordinator for the address and redirect the bus with half of our guests, but the unprofessionalism of the bus driver was disappointing. I had a wonderful group of vendors for my wedding, but Woodlawn Motor Coach definitely dropped the ball. Find any other bus company in the area for your wedding needs!
