The best decision we made
Hiring Catherine was the best decision we made for our wedding - hands down. She is an artist with an exceptional eye, and I am still blown away by our engagement and wedding photos. Beyond her stills as a photographer, which are extraordinary, she is a consummate professional and was so easy to work and communicate with. She had preview photos of our wedding available to review within a day or two of the event, which we were not expecting and were absolutely stunning! She truly went above and beyond on our wedding day, from wrangling guests to improvising beauty hacks when an errant eyelash threatened to sabotage our photos. Despite having a wedding coordinator on site (a story for a separate review), Catherine took over much of this role on the day of to ensure things ran as smoothly as possible. She is worth every penny and more and we cannot recommend her enthusiastically enough!

Catherine is the best! Her images capture emotions and the timeless beauty of her clients. She was able to make me and my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera and get natural expressions from both of us. We have one of her images printed on canvas on our wall and love to look at it every day. But she is more than our wedding photographer, she has become a friend. Hire her, you won't regret it!

Pick Catherine!
Where it is hard to select wedding vendors, we had no hesitation in hiring Woodland Fields for our wedding day - we knew Catherine was the only photographer we wanted and trusted to shoot our big day! She photographed my sister’s wedding 3 years prior to ours, so my family had worked with her before, and it was an easy decision to work with her again. She knows exactly what is needed, our wedding day was gloomy and rainy, but you’d never know it by looking at the images!
Between our wedding and now our family/baby photos, we have hundreds of beautiful moments captured by Catherine - I need more walls to hang pictures on because they are all absolutely perfect. We can’t wait until our next session!

Woodland Fields Photography was the only photographer we considered for our wedding - there was no looking around or interviewing others. In fact, we booked Catherine before our venue to make sure we had her. Catherine is a true pro; she has amazing relationships with other wedding vendors, which makes the day seamless and FUN. Her wedding questionnaire is an amazing tool for us to communicate all the special shots we wanted and to guide the day.
Catherine loves to get personal and become lifelong friends with her couples and their families and her presence at our wedding was just like having an old friend around versus a stranger with a camera. This beautiful connection, her incredible attention to detail, use of various tools/photography mediums, our engagement and wedding images came together in an incredible, unique album that we couldn’t have even dreamed of. Not only were the portraits stunning; they could have been in a magazine! The candid shots captured all of the love and joy of our big day. We are so glad we booked the package with a second photographer as it really made a difference in remembering all the little moments.
Our photos are timeless and we will cherish them and our friendship with Catherine forever. We love you!

Our wedding day was full of rain, gloom, and freezing cold temperatures, but you would never know it! Catherine was so patient and reassuring with the weather, and went with the flow as the day changed.
All I can say is, you NEED to hire Catherine. I cannot say enough good things about her. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and captured SO many moments throughout the evening. Every guest said, as they went to capture a moment, Catherine was already there. They were all amazed how she seemed to be everywhere at the perfect time. She is a true professional.

Perfectly beautiful wedding photos
Catherine was so wonderful to work with and the photos of our wedding day were absolutely perfect. We did not have a traditional wedding party, ours was made up of 6 young children. Catherine was very flexible with this unusual wedding party. Her photos perfectly captured everything we wanted of our perfect day. I am not someone who enjoys being photographed but she made the whole process feel so natural. I liked the questionnaire she had me fill out prior to the wedding that we then discussed, so she knew exactly what was important to me. You will not be sorry if you hire Woodland Fields Photography. All around amazing!
Woodland Fields Photography was amazing! Catherine shot our wedding and did a tremendous job. She is funny and personable and knows exactly what to do to capture those perfect moments. My wife and I are typically terrible at “posing” for photos. Catherine asked questions, had us tell stories, and got us laughing to capture those perfect natural moments without you even realizing it is happening. A few weeks before our wedding she sent a short questionnaire so that she could get a better idea of what we were looking for, the shots that were most important to us, and even family dynamics. She utilized those answers to efficiently plan out the shots so that we could get everything we wanted but also enjoy our wedding day. We got our photos back and they are absolutely stunning! They truly look like they are from a high-end wedding in a magazine. I can not recommend Woodland Fields Photography enough!

Absolutely Incredible! You have to book Catherine!
Where do I even begin... Catherine Taylor is hands down the best. Simply put. From the moment you meet her, you can tell photography is her craft. We could not have dreamed of a better photographer for our big day and cannot tout both her professionalism and personality enough. Not only is her work stunning, but Catherine is such a down to earth, easy going and just an overall incredible person, which made us super comfortable and relaxed while being photographed. From the second she arrived on-site, she always kept us smiling and laughing, which made us, our wedding party and our guests love her even more. Something else I'd like to note is how organized and detail-oriented she is. She took time to work closely with us and our wedding planner before our big day to create a day of photography timeline to ensure everything was planned out and captured, which was really important to us. Overall, I truly cannot recommend Catherine enough; hiring her was one of the best decisions ever.

Catherine Taylor is the ultimate dream wedding photographer! Her photography is ideal- she has such an eye for the right angles, picturesque moments, and her colors and tones make for such ethereal, romantic pictures! She really captured the beauty of our wedding day, the sweet, amazing moments, and she emphasized the dream-like feeling of our special day.
Catherine is extremely organized and detailed- she had us fill out a lengthy, incredibly detailed list where she asked all of the important questions for our day-of photography. It made
things move so smoothly the day of. Catherine is also very friendly and sweet and so easy to work with!
2 days prior to our wedding, category 4 Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle. Catherine was calm, positive and incredibly professional and made it there for our big day without hesitation, despite dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane in her personal life. Catherine was the absolute BEST to work with. I tend to get pretty camera shy, but I felt so comfortable and at ease with her from the get-go. She was professional, patient with our large and rowdy bridal party/extended family, and so much fun to work with. Haven’t seen the photos yet, but I know they’ll be amazing. I knew going into wedding preparations, that a photographer was key to putting all the memories together because weddings fly by in an instant and this is the key to remembering exactly how it all happened. It took me about 6 weeks of asking for full shoots from various photographers before I found Catherine. I instantly told my fiance that she was it - no matter what, I had to have her. We were just married last week and I will tell you that from the minute we started working with her - she's been amazing. Communication is fantastic and after years of pinning photos on Pinterest of wedding day "must-haves" - I threw all of those ideas out the window because I knew Catherine had better ideas and she'd capture it all. Catherine recently photographed our daughter's wedding and reception. Catherine was very professional and kept the picture timeline organized and efficiently moving to minimize the wedding party time away from the reception. Her professional attitude was amazing and she took wonderful pictures during preparation, the ceremony as well as the reception without being obtrusive. Words can not express how happy I was with Rebekah's work. She captured every memory beautifully. People are still raving about what an excellent photographer she was and my Venue even wanted her contact information so they could hand it to clients! Catherine and her staff are absolutely amazing to work with! Her work is stunning. I did a package with both engagement and wedding photos and am so pleased! She was so easy to communicate with and was more than just a photographer on my wedding day, she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I would recommend woodland fields to any bride not only for the amazing quality of work and beautiful pictures but for the fact that she is just so easy to work with, talented, professional, polite, and VERY reasonable cost for quality of work. I can't wait to use her again!

Catherine did an amazing job photographing our wedding!! I was an out of town bride and she answered all of my questions and put me at ease. We added an extra hour the morning of the wedding and she was very accommodating. My husband and I felt a little awkward in front of the camera at first but Catherine and her assistant made us laugh and we felt really comfortable with them. She has a great laid back personality that we really loved! Our pictures turned out incredible and we are so so happy we chose her. It was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Highly recommend!

Woodland Fields photography did a fabulous job at our wedding. I was planning my beach wedding from out of town and Catherine was available by phone and email whenever I had questions. She has very reasonably priced options for wedding day photography and printing packages. The day of the wedding she was on time and had all of us organized to do pictures before the ceremony as we wished. Very sweet, easy to talk to, and professional. Great photo blog to follow as well!

Catherine Taylor is an amazing photographer who has a creative eye that makes your photographs exceptional. When my husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding we didn't know where to start, especially since our wedding was a destination wedding. Catherine was the first photographer we met with and after meeting with a few others, it confirmed that she was the best. Catherine is very professional and easy to work with. She has a great eye for anticipating the best picture opportunity and capturing the moment. Marrying into a large family can be challenging when it comes to wedding photos but Catherine was able to handle our large group and keep us on schedule so that we could actually enjoy our reception. We could not be happier with our wedding photos and would recommend Woodland Fields Photography to anyone who values the high standard Catherine produces.
Side note- Catherine will travel for a small fee to take your photos.

Catherine did a fantastic job! She was 8 months pregnant at our wedding and worked so hard for us from start to finish! We were so impressed with her and our guests are still talking about our amazing and very pregnant photographer! We love our photos and the wedding albums turned out beautifully. I was hesitant at first to purchase the albums because of the cost but once we saw the finished product we knew they were worth every penny. Catherine has a fantastic eye for photos and design and I recommend her to every bride!

Catherine is very talented and an absolute joy to work with! Photography was a big deal to me, as it is for many brides. I searched far and wide to find someone who would capture the style that had a natural and classy look with an adventurous and fun feel. Woodland fields has the artistic vision I wanted at competitive industry prices. And I couldn't be more pleased!
They have an online system to organize and track all of your information and Catherine is very responsive to emails. Although I am in the Tampa area and she is based in Tallahassee, our planning process went perfectly and there was no extra charge for travel to my area. She made me feel confident both in our preparation and on our big day. Catherine and her team were patient, prepared, and seamlessly carried out our pre-arranged plans as well as on-the-spot requests.
Just look at her amazing work, it speaks for itself. Our pictures are gorgeous and I would absolutely recommend Woodland Fields to anyone for any occasion.
Additional tip: Go for the photobooth add-on! It was a huge hit at our wedding and the pictures were available online in no time for everyone to share.

When I first started planning my wedding, I knew good photographs were one of the most important elements to my big day. I met with a few other photographers in town and searched countless blogs and websites… then I met Catherine. I knew she had the talent, the patience, and the understanding to make every part of our wedding memorable. I was right on with my gut feeling!
Dan and I had our first photo session with Catherine for Engagement Pictures. We were nervous and unsure of ourselves, but about 5 minutes in to the shoot we felt completely at ease and ended up having so much more fun than we could have imagined. Our pictures were breathtaking, more than I could have ever hoped for. I felt like so many of them had a unique perspective and intimate feeling that made them feel personal and artistic at the same time.
Our wedding day came soon after, and Catherine and an assistant were there to catch our bridal prep time, the ceremony and reception preparations, and the groomsmen all before the ceremony. (She was very organized, and had sent us worksheets and online surveys as well as meeting with us in person to get a good grasp on our personal style and to get a specific list of people and family we wanted pics with so we didn’t leave anyone out.) She stuck with a strict timeline which helped us flow from one picture location to the next without the worry that we were missing a wedding festivity. We both felt like we didn’t give anything up to get our pictures taken!
Catherine and her assistant were professional, understanding, and fun to work with. They had so many good ideas and poses, but it all felt so natural! The end result was a relaxed day, GORGEOUS PICTURES, and a happy happy happy new married couple We highly recommend Woodland fields Photography to anyone who appreciates good customer service and a bang for your dollar. Certain moments in life happen once, I wouldn’t skimp on the way that they are forever to be preserved!

Catherine was AMAZING!!! She did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and make sure that our experience was perfect. My husband was so nervous about the photos and it being awkward and it was not at all. Everything went so smooth and she was very calm throughout the whole experience. We found unique spots for photos and it was a blast shooting with her. Loved every min!!! Her photos are beautiful and natural. She really has a wonderful creative eye. We looked at many many photographers and I only wish I had found her first. Would have saved me a lot of time! :) Having woodland fields do our photos was one of the best decisions we made!

Woodland Fields takes beautiful, natural pictures. The lighting is perfect and the candid pictures are amazing. For my wedding, the wedding party and I were supposed to get most of our pictures done before the actual ceremony, but things got a little crazy and we were running behind schedule. Despite the chaos, Woodland Fields made me feel at ease and made the whole experience fun. Catherine worked with me and my husband to overcome the awkwardness of posing for so many pictures and she also made formal family pictures go quickly and smoothly. Most of all, Catherine was more than a photographer - she helped me with my bustle and lent a hand in other small ways throughout the day. If you want THE BEST photographs and THE BEST service, then I highly recommend Woodland Fields.

These photographers really know what they are doing. Whether it is at a place they have been to or not, they know how to get some awesome shots. Most of the time I did not even know they were there. They are very good at capturing the emotions expressed during the ceremony and reception. Although it was very HOT at my wedding, they made it fun to take some pictures outside with my new husband.

Such a joy to work with. From the start, everything was made so easy & stress free. You can tell they really take the bride into consideration in every aspect! So personable as well. My husband and I decided to have a first look, we were both a bit stressed from last minute run-arounds the morning of, and I was nervous to take photos, they really helped us relax and be ourselves, which is definitely reflected in the photos! Also, I search for HOURS for a photographer who included in their price a CD with all of the wedding photos. Woodland Fields was literally one of the 2 or 3 that I found. Thanks a bunch!

Catherine and Beth from Woodland Fields was a joy to work with. It was certainly an all day event, from 9 in the morning till 10:30 at night, and they were in great spirits the whole time. I've been to weddings where the guests can't see what is going on because the photographers are running around and blocking all the action to snap photos. I had friends come up to me after the wedding and say they don't remember seeing the photographers there at all! They did a great job blending in, but still got fantastic photos. They do a great mix of posed and candid shots, and just the colors and the gentle effects are incredible. Catherine is so creative and is so quick to getting the shots she needs. It was great working with her and I would highly recommend Woodland Fields to anyone!

I went back a month or two ago to look at their websites and was sure we'd made the right decision. Woodland Fields was great about responding to my e-mails full of questions, was very professional and nice at the wedding (and wonderful about posing people who are just not photogenic), and the basic wedding package (plus an hour) was exactly what we were looking for in terms of value. I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

I can't say enough great things about Catherine and Woodland Fields Photography. From the beginning to end they were so pleasant and easy to work with. Their efficient use of technology really makes the whole process easy (from contract, wedding day/party questionnaires, payment, photo viewing, etc) because everything is online at one place (and not all over emails and phone calls).
Catherine and her assistant were the photographers at my wedding and everybody loved her. She was personable and professional....had amazing equipment and eye for photography! The pictures were breathtaking and looked like they belonged in a magazine!! I had sooo many people contact me after seeing those because they wanted her to do their event as well. And fortunately for them, she can travel wherever they are :)

Absolutely the most amazing photos I have ever seen. I went to a wedding on March 29, 2010 and enjoyed watching as a set of identical twins were taking photos of the bride and groom after the ceremony. I have never seen such passionate photographers and sisters. They lit up the eyes of the bride and groom the entire photo shoot. Who knew these photographers could make a couple show their true colors in pictures that are beyond stunning. I wish I would have had them available for my wedding because they really turn a special day into an amazing day to remember!!!

The photographs from my wedding day are perfect, but nothing could have prepared me for the Rock-the-Dress and the Mr. & Mrs. Session! My husband and I have spent so many hours reliving the moments caught in those pictures, falling in love with each other over and over again.

This team of professionals has no lack of imagination. They are creative and a joy to work with. The pictures came out AMAZING! We would highly recommend Woodland Fields Photography to anyone and everyone!!!!!!!! They were the absolute best!!

Absolutely GORGEOUS photos! Very easy to work with, they made us feel comfortable on our big day. They captured every little detail. I would recommend them to anyone! Everyone who has seen our photos absolutely love them, I definately do not regret booking their services, they were worth every penny!

Catherine and her team were the perfect photographers- they were there but not there (I didn't feel paparazzi overwhelmed but I knew they were getting the job done!) and endlessly patient and kind to us and our families. Catherine has an amazing eye for detail and thinks of shots we may not have thought of on our own. She is funny and charming, detail oriented and professional and puts you at ease. Loved working with her and getting to know her!

Working with Catherine was great! She is very responsive throughout the process, and her pictures are truly gorgeous. Trust me, you will have plenty of great wedding photos to choose from. Her style is very photojournalistic, and tell the story of your day. Catherine is sure to photograph all the small details. She also will take any "formal" posed pictures that you ask for. The only thing I wish we had more of were more photos of everyone at the reception. I'm not sure we got a picture of everyone there. We also didn't get a picture of the limo that picked us up at the end. Really a minor complaint. I could not be happier though with the photos of the 2 of us, and the ceremony pictures were also stunning! I was also impressed with how quickly she got the photos ready for us! We were able to view our proofs less than a month after the wedding. I also thought her prices were very reasonable for the entire day of coverage and the quality of the photos!

Very easy to work with. Nice and laid back, which made the photo sessions alot more fun and flexible. Their work is tremendous and we're so happy we chose them as our photographers!

The photographers were amazing! They work really hard and have a great eye! Everyone that has seen our wedding pictures gushes over them; the excitement, fun and sweetness of the day/night was perfectly captured. We couldn't be happier with the photography!

My "must have"
For years if I saw someone's wedding photos on Facebook, if I actually liked their photos (I'm picky and maybe a little snobby) they were ALWAYS Catherine's photos. Always. When it came time to choose a photographer, I still priced out other options and yes you can find a less expensive photographer. But when it comes to wedding photography, **you get what you pay for.** Catherine's prices are reasonable, her work is unparalleled, and her customer service is fantastic. The editing she puts into her work captures the best light, the perfect smile; it will literally take you back to your wedding day. It was a pleasure to work with her and I TREASURE our wedding photos because of her.

Catherine did a great job at our wedding. I love that she really focused in on the details. As soon as she arrived the day of the wedding, she got right to work. My husband is not big on posing for pictures for long periods of time and she did a great job getting all the formal pics over with before ceremony and a few after. She only needed us one time during our reception for a few pictures and other than that really let us enjoy our day, which we both loved, and was still able to capture some great shots. I would highly recommend!

Rude, mediocre and repetitive pictures
Very disappointed in Catherine. First off she doesn’t come in and introduce herself to myself and my daughter. She comes into the bridal suite and says where’s the dress? She has a camera around her neck so we figured out who she was. While she is getting the wedding dress she knocks over a glass of mimosa and I was scared to death it had gotten in the dress. In our package we requested 2 photographers. There was a second lady there that took very few pictures, mostly of the groom and groomsman. These by far were the best pictures we had gotten. The second photographer was mostly there to run and get things for Catherine. Between the two of them there was not one good picture of the ceremony. They actually took quite a few pictures of the ceremony with the arbor pole blocking my daughter. When it was time for my daughter and her new husbands pictures together she took the same poses over and over again with the dead looking woods in the background. Our venue had a beautiful, lovely lake as a backdrop and not one picture there except of my niece and her family that Catherine took. One of the things I had asked her when we hired her, was if she was good at directing different poses and she said yes she can pose them to make it look very natural and not like a pose. She doesn’t edit like she said she would. You can see the bug bites on my daughter from traipsing through the woods. Thank goodness we have a good friend who is doing some shots of my daughter in her wedding dress because the ones Catherine took were mediocre at best. I had hired her until 9:30 at night and they leave at 7:30. We got a lot of pictures of our guests and the food. Hardly any of my son and daughters dance (3) which was very special because my son was filling in for my daughters deceased father. Catherine took so many more pictures of the groom than the bride and we all know wedding pictures are supposed to be about the bride. Wedding people beware. If you want to hire a photographer who is rude and who gives you mediocre pictures than seek Catherine at Woodland Photography. For the final price of $4,300 I expected so much more!!!!
