can’t say enough about this venue. First off the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, all the staff are amazing, Lisa, Joyce, Taylor, Ken, they were so helpful from start to finish. What sold me what the horse and carriage ride for the Bride to the alter!! I need to give a special shoutout to Lisa, she coordinated the whole wedding the day off and I can’t even begin to put in words… WE WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED WITHOUT HER! From bustling my dress, to tying my husbands tie, to putting the boutonnières on, to helping clean up, guiding us where we need to be and when, getting drinks.. I could go on and on! You don’t realize how much goes on behind the scenes and she KILLED IT!!! 10/10 recommend!!Wood Acres Farm's reply:

Nothing Less Than Magical
Wood Acres was the perfect venue choice for us. Joyce, Taylor, and Lisa made my wedding day literally magical. They were so attentive and my husband and I did not even have to think about anything. The grounds are stunning, they are constantly updating the property making it even more beautiful. I can't say enough great things about Wood Acres! Talking about it makes me want to get married all over again!Wood Acres Farm's reply:

Stephen/Davis Wedding
From the start we fell in love with the venue. Everything was gorgeous from the entrance to the cottage to the ceremony site on the deck to the indoor/outdoor reception!!! And we can’t say enough about the staff. Their professionalism and attention to detail was top notch. They treated us not just like we were just another couple passing through but we were treated like family. We will forever treasure Wood Acres Farm and the staff!Wood Acres Farm's reply:

Wood Acres provides us the absolute perfect location for our 25th Vow Renewal. We wanted something special, where we were able to put our special touches to our event, but not have to do everything ourselves. This was the place! They provided a list of amazing vendors to choose from, who were just as easy and professional to work with. Our day was so magical, with NO stress!Wood Acres Farm's reply:

All the way back in 2020 we booked Wood Acres. We walked in the door to the office and it was like we were home. The landscaping is impeccable. Plenty of parking for guests. Vendors have easy access in and out. Horse drawn carriages for the bride to enter on then rides for the guests during cocktail hour. The barn is beautifully decorated and softly lit to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lisa was our coordinator for the day of and she ran a tight ship. We stayed on time line and got everything we needed to to be able to enjoy our evening. Most of all we were afforded the opportunity to bring my tractors. As a bride who's father passed it was a very important and meaningful moment to be able to have them there as a piece of my Dad on my big day.
We cannot thank the WAF team enough for all they do. As a family run business you can see the love and hard work put into the establishment and we are so honored to be part of that wedding family.

Beautiful venue, amazing staff! 5 STARS
Highly recommend! Not only was this a gorgeous venue but the staff was just amazing! I was brought up to the venue on a horse and carriage. Our ceremony was outside on a deck overlooking a pond! After the ceremony cocktail hour began on the beautiful wrap around porch. We then moved inside the barn like setting for dinner and dancing. They assisted in every possible way and everyone was just so nice!
We couldn't imagined getting married anywhere else and are looking forward to celebrating our anniversary with them in the future.

I knew Wood Acres Farm was our venue the moment I walked into the beautiful barn! Taylor and Joyce made me feel right at home and answered all the questions that I had. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the horse drawn carriage was a very nice touch to our special day. All of our guests still talk about how amazing everything looked and how much fun they had on our big day! If you are looking for a rustic feel with some very nice personal touches, I highly recommend checking out Wood Acres Farm. -

If you're looking for a unique venue, then look no further! First and foremost, Joyce and the rest of the staff at Wood Acres are beyond friendly, I felt like I was part of the family. They are super flexible and allow you to bring in your own vendors/set up how you would like. They provide day-of coordination which is extremely helpful and not to mention, a horse & carriage ride!! You can either have a grand entrance and/or grand exit. It was a great touch because my husband and I got to have a few minutes of alone time right after the ceremony. We have been getting non-stop compliments on this venue, it really is something special so don't pass it up! -

Do not hesitate to book at Wood Acres! This place is a dream come true! Joyce, Taylor and the team are the best! They know what they are doing and make wedding planning and the day of a breeze!!! Wood Acres Farm was the perfect venue for us! I grew up riding horses and so badly wanted to have our wedding at our family farm. Unfortunately, our home was too small. Wood Acres had everything we were looking for and more! It has a unique, family feel, and magical gardens everywhere. The cost was equivalent to what we would have spent on preparing our own farm for a big event. Our guests told us that they felt, relaxed, at home, and enjoyed every second. Joyce and team were hands-off, easy-going, and helped run our ceremony smoothly. We were given the opportunity to make this day completely ours and I would recommend this venue to anyone! Dream come true
Wood Acres is truly a beautiful place, a hidden gem as all our guests shared the day of. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and our early September wedding was breathtaking. If you prefer the rustic, laid back and relaxed atmosphere WAF is the way to go. We knew when we finished the tour when first viewing this would be the place we became husband and wife. Joyce and Taylor were amazing and communicated with us during the whole process. The rehearsal was awesome. My family loved the hayride and bonfire. It was a great night! I highly recommend WAF to anyone interested in having a fairytale wedding. -

Joyce and Taylor are AMAZING
First things first, this place is a hidden gem. If you are looking for a rustic, gorgeous, spacious venue.. this is it. The grounds are beautifully kept, from the flowers to the stables. Amazing backgrounds for pictures as well. Everyone at Wood Acres Farm is so unbelievably helpful and attentive and amazing. From the first tour when Joyce stole our hearts to dancing with our event coordinator Taylor on the night of our wedding.. they truly make you feel like family and bring such love and life into planning your special day. Oh and the bridal cottage is a wicked plus!!! Love this place and the people who keep it going. -

I am so happy we chose Wood Acres Farm for our wedding. It was the only venue we went to see and we fell in love with it. All of our friends and families were amazed at how beautiful it is. The horse and carriage made my wedding even more beautiful. The staff is friendly and our coordinator Shannon was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better person to make our wedding so special. -

It includes horse and carraige rides, multiple locations for your ceremony and a beautiful barn for your reception. Alyssa from Wood Acres was amazing and made sure that everything went smoothly. I recommend having your rehearsal dinner at the farm as well. Their rehearsal package includes horse and carraige rides, pizza and a campfire! It was so much fun!

Lori Sent on 06/08/2018Last weekend my daughter was married at Wood Acres Farm. She and her fiancé booked the venue almost 2 years ago, and it was well worth the wait. Although the weather was spotty, we were blessed with blue skies and billowing clouds during the ceremony that was held in front of the gazebo, overlooking the pond. The arrival of the Bride, and her Dad, in the horse drawn carriage started the magic of this fairytale day. Endless flowering gardens and mature trees were a fabulous back drop for all the photographs. During the cocktail hour the guests enjoyed refreshing drinks and endless hors d’oeuvres, as they strolled the grounds, went on carriage rides or relaxed on the large front porch. After dinner was served, and the toasts were made our guests enjoyed the freedom to dance inside or roam the beautiful grounds. All of this was made possible with the help of Joyce, Alyssa, Shannon and Ken. The team at Wood Acres Farm are fabulous facilitators, with an eye for detail. Their assistance from planning to execution was remarkable. Wood Acres Farm’s charming location with picturesque grounds and knowledgeable staff allowed for a stress free, enchanting wedding day. Wood Acres Farm is the perfect location for newly engaged couples looking for their happily ever after!

Joyce and her whole staff were very helpful throughout the whole process of planning down to the rehearsal and questions and the day of schedule. We were made welcome and comfortable and satisfied with our whole day. All our family and guests were amazed with the beauty and personal touches and the country atmosphere it had. The best was seeing everyone's faces when they saw me and my mother in the horse and carriage being brought to the ceremony and then they had carriage rides after our ceremery. Everyone also enjoyed the barn and reception space and can not stop talking about the day. -

Elexis Sent on 10/16/2017We started planning in June of 2015 for our 10/14/17 wedding. We had planned on visiting about 4 other venues, and Wood Acres was our second stop on the list. We took our tour of this amazing venue, and decided to go home to think about it. Well, we got into the car, and immediately got back out and booked that day! The scenery is beautiful, especially in the fall when we got married. There are multiple places to have your ceremony, and the barn is breathtaking. You can really add your own touch with decor, or keep it simple as the barn itself is wonderful on its own. Joyce and Alyssa are so responsive and genuinely seem excited for your day. Everything went off without a hitch and having the option to arrive by horse and carriage was the cherry on top of the most perfect day. I could not be happier! -

Amanda Sent on 01/11/2011Wood Acres Farms is the most beautiful and unique place you could ask for. The barn was spectacular, and my arrival by horse-drawn carriage was everyone's favorite part. There were a couple of small things that I would have done differently (leading up to the wedding, the staff really encouraged us to have guests stand during the ceremony, which I insisted I wouldn't go for--and the result was that, even though they have chairs on site, my husband, brothers, and the best man had to scramble to set up 80 chairs an hour before the wedding [and put them away again during the reception!]; some signs/props from a previous event were still set up when we arrived and the staff was MIA, so we had to take them down/stow them ourselves; etc. Bottom line--go for the package that includes the day-of event coordinator, or else suck it up when some of the details fall to you.). Despite the small, stress-inducing hiccups, though, I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat. People are still raving about how beautiful it was, and our pictures are amazing because of how incredible the venue was. Would love to go back as a guest and see things from that perspective, because everything I've heard indicates that our guests thought things were truly flawless.
