Brianna and Tyler's wedding

My husband and I decided last minute that we would like to do a very small wedding ceremony while our 12 family members were here on vacation from out of town in just 2 weeks. After frantically looking for venues and asking friends to get ordained to officiate our ceremony, I came across The Knot's website and read through just about all of the reviews. Wonder Weddings caught my eye, so I typed up a quick request and sent it to them. Within a couple of days, Rev. Judi gave me a call and when I tell you all of my fears and anxiety had immediately subsided after speaking with her, I truly mean it. She reassured me that she would help me take care of everything and would be able to accommodate all of our needs within my short timeline. We had the Kiss-and-Go ceremony scheduled for 6:30pm on the beach on a Saturday, and a few hours before the ceremony, I realized I was a hot mess and needed an additional 30 minutes to get myself together before the big moment. She didn't hesitate to delay the ceremony for me, and not to mention she agreed to do this for us ON HER BIRTHDAY. Fast forward to the ceremony itself, she approached us with the warmest welcome and officiated our ceremony with the most beautiful script, and every single one of us could feel her beautiful energy. Even after the end of the ceremony, after she was long gone, all our families could talk about was how amazing she was and how elegantly she spoke of our love. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a single thing and will be recommending Rev. Judi to anyone and everyone I know.

Reverend Judy did an amazing job! She was great to work with, her reading recommendations were beautiful and she was so lovely to all our guests. Also the Facebook post about our wedding was so thoughtful as the photos she took were fantastic, and it was so special to see those on our honeymoon before we got our photographers sneak peaks back!

Absolutely Fantastic

Rev. Judi was absolutely fantastic! Super personable and accommodating to our requests and unique unity ceremony. We wanted a personal ceremony that represented us as a couple and with all the customization wonder weddings offers, we were able to do just that! Rev Judi was wonderful

Judi was utterly amazing! We got compliments all night about how beautiful the ceremony was and that Judi was "the best officiant of a wedding I've ever been to". Excellent communication, very personable and professional, super friendly. Her questionnaire really helped craft the perfect ceremony and definitely helped her get to know us better. I had several people cry who said they'd never cried at a wedding before and actually had people request a copy of the ceremony script! She made my day beautiful. Highly recommend!

Just Absolutely AMAZING!

We decided to push our wedding up from a year and a half away to only a little over a month away! From the start Rev. Davis was a gem to work with; punctual, joyful spirit, flexible, responds in a timely manner, extremely organized - I mean the list goes on! Honestly if ANYONE I know in the area is getting married in the future and is looking for an officiant, I will HIGHLY recommend Wonder Weddings. My day was absolutely perfect, and they were a HUGE part of that!

Open-minded, flexible, friendly, and professional! Highly recommend.

We selected Rev. Judi because she was available last minute and was the only officiant who made us really feel comfortable and understood as a same-sex couple and our reasoning for eloping. She was very open-minded, willing to let us have our vows, ring exchange, and reading however we wanted them and even provided us some examples. She was quick to respond to emails, arrived early for the ceremony and made sure to get the license filled out properly, and she even went to the beach site where our ceremony was the night before (and sent us beautiful sunset pictures which got us excited) so she knew exactly where to go the next day. She was extremely professional and very down to earth and easy to talk to while we were waiting to start the ceremony. She lead the ceremony with ease and directed us when it was our turn to talk which was great because we forgot to figure out who was saying their vows first! She had it all figured out and was very prepared. I would highly recommend hiring her if you’re religious or not, LGBTQ+ or straight. She is so friendly and very reliable! Rev. Judi, thank you again for making our day so special!

Could not be happier !

We could not have been happier with Reverend Judi. She wrote and delivered such a beautiful and personal wedding ceremony. She is warm, professional, and an amazing speaker. We (and our guests) were all very impressed. So many people commented how refreshing it was that the ceremony was all about the bride and groom and how lovely it was. When planning, Rev. Judi was very helpful guiding us but also, completely open to allowing us to do things anyway we wanted. The Rehearsal and Wedding Ceremony were perfect - everything ran smoothly and beautifully.

Wonder Weddings was excellent!

We were planning a quick elopement ceremony with about 5-6 weeks notice. Judi with Wonder Weddings was very responsive and helpful when setting up our plans. She helped me feel at ease after discussing the details and answering all of my questions. Judi was kind, patient, and punctual (even though we were running a few minutes behind!) The ceremony was perfect! I highly recommend hiring Wonder Weddings for your wedding or elopement ceremony!! A+++

The Marry Poppins of Officiants

(Practically perfect in every way.) Our ceremony was absolutely wonderful thanks to Wonder Weddings. We got married on September 29, 2018. All of our planning was done long distance as we live out of state and Judi was so nice and easy to work with. After our initial phone call I knew she would be our officiant; I loved her style and outlook on love and life. Unfortunately she had a last minute emergency so James actually officiated our wedding, and he did amazing. Judi wrote us a personalized love story as part of the ceremony that was so perfectly “us” that many people thought James had known us our whole lives, but my first time meeting him was when I got to the end of the aisle. The ceremony was the perfect length and I liked how we were able to personalize our vows and readings. James was great, he knew when to pause for laughter (our ceremony was light hearted) and kept our guests captivated. I 100% recommend Wonder Weddings; can’t say enough good things about them.

I hired Wonder Weddings for my Sept 2017 Wedding and they did a wonderful job! Judy worked with me to help us create the perfect ceremony and I can't say enough good things about her. I just love our officiant Rev. Amy Loui! The regular Reverend Judi was not available on our date, but she checked and was able to find Amy for us, and they are both so very wonderful and friendly! Rev. Judi did most of the planning piece, she allowed us to make the ceremony our own, as religious or non-religious as we wanted, and wrote a wonderful "how we met story" that everyone enjoyed hearing. When we first met both Rev. Judi and Amy we got along instantly and laughed for over an hour in a Bread Co. It was like we had known them forever. And Then Rev. Amy calmed my nerves by walking us through the rehearsal (even though my venue was quite far!). And on the wedding day she was so enthusiastic telling our story! She was so happy for us, you could just see it in her face. My whole family just loved her. You will not regret using wonder weddings, they are worth every penny.

Working with Reverend Judi was such a pleasure and one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. She was so personable, prompt in response, and easy to work with throughout the entire process, taking time to get to know us as a couple so that our ceremony was a true reflection of our personalities. She had so many great suggestions on how to personalize and add meaning to our ceremony, making sure we knew we didn't have to do anything a particular way. Neither of us is very religious and it was a relief to know that she could find a way to make the ceremony just as special without some of the more traditional rituals that come with religious ceremonies.

We did the personal and unique ceremony and couldn't be happier with it. We got so many compliments from our guests about how fun, personal and touching the ceremony was. My father in law was particularly happy that "it wasn't boring and too long like most weddings." His quote! Judi was great during the rehearsal in taking charge and setting the expectations for the wedding party and family while still being easy going and relaxed. At the wedding her presence was welcoming and calming, and she had us giggling during the ceremony, which in our relationship is always a plus! We appreciated that she understood (and shared) our love for dogs and found the most meaningful ways to incorporate that into the ceremony. I truly believe that even the "plus one" guests that didn't know us as well left our wedding with an understanding of who we are as a couple, and I cannot say that about many of the other weddings I have been to!

Reverend Judi is open minded and accepting of all types of couples which made us love her even more. Whether you want a traditional, religious, or funky off-beat ceremony I am confident that Judi will exceed your expectations!

Rev. Judi was awesome! She made it very easy to create a ceremony that was truly us. She helped us figure out what we wanted to do (even encouraging us to go with a non-traditional unity ritual--which all of our guests LOVED!) We are not religious, and she had no issues with that. We got many compliments from our guests that it seemed like she had known us forever, even though we only meet a few times! She was fun and a great speaker! We couldn't be more pleased with Rev. Working with Reverend Judi was such a pleasure that I truly cannot speak highly enough of her services! We wanted a wedding ceremony that was joyful and meaningful to us. Additionally, we were planning our St. Louis wedding from our home in Chicago, so we knew whoever we worked with would have to be flexible. Reverend Judi went to lengths to speak to us via Skype beforehand, and continued to get to know us as a couple afterwards through various calls and questionnaires. She wrote a beautiful wedding ceremony that was so meaningful and representative of our fun-loving relationship. Our friends and family could not stop talking about how unique, touching, and personal our ceremony was. Reverend James Davis was AMAZING. He was proactive and efficient in his communication leading up to the wedding, did a great job helping us run through the rehearsal the night before and did an EXCELLENT job at the ceremony. Out of all of the feedback we received about the wedding, the most reoccurring theme was people noting how funny, sweet and sincere the ceremony was! We live out of state and had just met in person for the first time that weekend, and several people asked how long the reverend had known us! Ha! I couldn't recommend him more.

Wonder Weddings was an absolute joy to work with. Rev. Judi was outstanding in her approach to our wedding. She was very attentive to our requests, and played a huge part in making our wedding day perfect! We couldn't have pulled it off without her. We also received several very positive compliments about her from our guests. I think a quote taken from one of Judi's emailed responses to us, after requesting a late change in the ceremony, sums it up best:

Judi was absolutely amazing! My (now) husband and I weren't exactly sure what to look for in an officiant, but we booked a meeting with Judi at Wonder Weddings and went in with open minds. We could tell immediately that her energy and passion were exactly what we were looking for! She was so very helpful in shaping our ceremony, going through suggestions of unity rituals and order of events. After you book with her, she sends a questionnaire that asks about your relationship, engagement, favorite things about your partner, etc. She then uses that to write a very personal script for the wedding. When she completed the script and sent it to us to look over, it was confirmed to me that we'd gone with the right officiant. To make it even better, after the ceremony we were provided a folder with the completed marriage certificate, as well as a copy of the script from the ceremony. Judi was professional (and fun!) from start to finish, and I can't recommend her enough!

Reverend Judi was like our fairy godmother during our magical day. She captured our unique love story perfectly and the way she structured our ceremony held everyone's attention, which is sometimes hard to do during wedding ceremonies. We can’t say enough great things about Revered James and Wonder Weddings. He was the perfect officiant for our wedding; he truly was everything we were looking for. I would recommend Wonder Weddings for all brides to be! We had so many guests comment on how special and personalized our ceremony was… it was so beautifully delivered and personable that it brought tears and big smiles for us and our guests. We received a ton of compliments on our ceremony (from guests, staff, and other vendors), specifically on Rev. James calming demeanor, his delivery of the ceremony, and his just right sense of humor. He utilized so much of the information we provided him in our conversations with him and the written questionnaire he provided that we felt like we were a huge part of the planning process. Reverend Judi was the perfect officiant for our wedding. Her fantastic sense of humor and the professionalism with which she conducts herself made her an absolute delight to work with. She's incredibly flexible about the nature and contents of the ceremony itself; for ours, she utilized so much of the things that we had told her in our conversations with her and in the written information that we had provided to her that we felt as though we had played a huge part in developing our own ceremony, making it all the more special. It was so easy, and everything went as good as we could have ever hoped--we got literally dozens and dozens of compliments on various aspects of the ceremony generally and on Judi specifically. Everyone absolutely loved the ceremony and the way Rev. Judi presented it. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Reverend James put at ease during the interview so as to gather information to make our wedding unique and to include portions with significant meaning to us. For our joining ceremony, we chose the hand fasting ritual, which is literally 'tying the knot'. Using our readings and Reverend James' experience, we together created a marriage ceremony which fit us and our desires and beliefs. For the symbol of our marriage, we chose the Greek letter 'pi', which is always changing, never repeats and is infinite. We are blessed to have Rev James to officiate at our wedding. Many of our guests commented that our wedding was different, and not an off the rack ceremony.

In October Rev. Judi Mann Davis presided over our son's wedding. It was the most beautiful ceremony!! She had spent a great deal of time with the couple and was able to detail their love affair in a very entertaining and personal, yet respectful, way. We have known Judi in the best and worst of times as she presided over her Father's and nephew's funerals. Judi's sweet , caring, and professional personality shone through on all these occasions.

She has truly shone herself to be an example of what a minister should be.

Rev. Judi made our wedding so unique and personal, it was incredible. The soundtrack to my groom's life during our year of planning was "I wanted to elope!" When Judi sent us our personalized ceremony and I was able to read our love story, my tune totally changed.

My husband and I were planning an April 2015 wedding. After deciding we did not want a large formal wedding and to wait, we decided to just go for it on 10/12/14! We had 6 days to plan everything. Rev. James was contacted on a Monday about doing the ceremony on the upcoming Sunday. He couldn't have been more perfect! My mom made the initial call and she raved about how kind and open he was, she thought he sounded perfect. I was able to speak with him the next day and couldn't have been happier. You can imagine with only 6 days there was a lot to get done! Rev. James was calm, soothing and kept reiterating he was there for us and to make this process as smooth as possible. He emailed us several samples of vows and ring exchange language and was extremely accommodating to our mix and match approach. We had two guests do readings at the ceremony and Rev. James was perfect to keep us on task and on time. Even though we met him the day of the wedding, I wouldn't have asked for a more perfect ceremony. I was able to focus on my husband to be, and I felt the warmth and caring Rev. James truly had for us a couple. The time with the bridal party and Rev. James before the ceremony was relaxing, fun, and felt like a natural fit. I couldn’t be happier with Rev. James and highly recommend his services. With 6 days to plan a wedding, you learn who is in the business because they truly enjoy what they do and have a deep caring heart for the brides and grooms. Rev. James is one of those unique people and I hope many more couples are able to enjoy their day with the help of Rev. James.

Reverend James was the officiant for my September 2014 wedding. After the initial phone consultation with him, I could tell he was exactly what we were looking for. One of the struggles I thought we'd have was finding content for the ceremony since I didn't have anything particular in mind that I wanted to include. Rev. James was able to come up with something that was unique and not too long or too short. He constructed a ceremony that was thoughtful and reflected the two of us very well. I've received so many compliments from friends and family about the ceremony. We had the opportunity to meet Rev James in person before the ceremony, which was great. He is a very kind person, and is easy to talk to. He listened to what we wanted, which was reflected in his ceremony script. He sent us a copy of the ceremony prior to the wedding for us to sign off on and read the exact script during the ceremony. He also was very flexible in tailoring the ceremony to accommodate our preferences. He did a fantastic job. I definitely recommend Rev James for anyone looking for an officiant.

Judi is a dear friend of my husband's so it was a no-brainer to have her marry us. My husband was not raised religious and I grew up Catholic but am no longer practicing. We both knew we wanted a ceremony that reflected who we were, both as individuals and as a couple. Rev. Judi certainly delivered.

She wrote a beautiful love story for us, and made the ceremony short, sweet, and personal. We had several people come up to us at our reception saying how they have never experienced a wedding like ours before. It meant so much to us to hear that.

Judi is easy to work with and calmed me down a few different times when I thought everything might just fall apart. She was responsive, personable, and interacted with our wedding party wonderfully. We could not have asked for a better officiant. I highly recommend Wonder Weddings to future brides and grooms. She is absolutely magnificent!

Rev. Judi Davis made our wedding one of the most memorable and special moments of our lives! I seriously can't rave enough about her! From start to finish, she made the entire experience not only easy and enjoyable, but fun! We actually found her in a pinch when the first officiant we hired bailed the day the BEFORE our wedding. I was seriously about to have a meltdown, when I saw Wonder Weddings online, called and spoke with Rev. Judi, and she reassured me that I called the right person and that all I needed to worry about was marrying the man of my dreams and having a perfect wedding day. She said she would take care of the rest, and boy did she!

She was very communicative, personalized our ceremony within hours, showed up early, didn't rush us, smiled the entire time she was there, mingled with guests before and after, and presented a ceremony that brought my husband to tears. Yes, tears! My husband who had just been telling his friends that this wedding for all for "me" was crying giving his vows. Well done, Rev. Judi :)

Something else that speaks volumes about her services, I had several friends ask how long Joe and I had known her, which showed how personal she was able to make it in leas than 24 hours, and other friends were commenting on how great she was on my Facebook.

Again, I can't say enough about Wonder Weddings and Rev. Judi Davis. She's hands down the BEST and we thank her for making our day exactly what we envisioned it being!

My now husband and I knew exactly what we wanted when we began our search for our officiant- someone who would listen to what we wanted for our ceremony, who would be easy to communicate with in the months leading up to the wedding (and on the day of the wedding, of course) and who would do a wonderful job delivering the ceremony. Reverend Judi ended up being exactly what we envisioned for our ceremony, if not more. She quickly responded to all of our questions (and there were many of them). She worked with us to design our ceremony, allowing us to customize anything we wanted- from our vows to any traditions we wanted to incorporate, etc. She even sent us the ceremony wording, which she wrote specifically for our ceremony, prior to finalizing it and worked with us until the three of us felt it was perfect (which did not take long at all, since Rev. Judi really seemed to understand what we wanted for our ceremony). On the day of the wedding, she spoke clearly and beautifully, in a manner that really drew you in. We received so many compliments about how beautiful and unique our ceremony was and about how wonderful our officiant was. We really don't think we could have made a better decision in choosing Reverend Judi as our officiant.

Talk about made to order: Rev. Judi was perfect. For a wedding that included two chickens, a llama, a donkey and a pajama-clad sheep (oh, yes, and a bride and groom!) an out-of-the-ordinary officiant was called for. We knew from email correspondence that Rev. Judi had a sense of humor, but were pleasantly surprised at how much personality she added to the day while also performing officiant duties flawlessly (not an easy task considering the surroundings.).

We would absolutely recommend Rev. Judi to anyone wanting a memorable wedding.

We were pretty specific on how we wanted our ceremony to be, and Rev. Davis made it perfect! It was exactly how we wanted it to be. She spoke about our "love story" and made our wedding day even better than we could have imagined. All I wanted was a fun and creative wedding ceremony that everybody would remember. Let me tell you...Rev Judi knows exactally how to deliver that! She will accommodate you in any way to give you an amazing day! Rev Judi will meet with the couple in person to get to know them and the type of ceremony they want to have. Then, she will have the couple fill out a questionaire. She then takes the replies and turns them into a love story to read to the adorning audience on the big day. Rev Judi also gives the couple a big phamlet of many wedding customs and traditions to choose from to make the ceremony unique. Every single person that attended my wedding came up to me after and stated, "I have never been to a wedding like that before! I will never forget it!" Thank you Rev Judi for making our day be the best experience of our lives!

If there were a way to give 10 starts for flexibility, I would! Reverend Judi Davis is amazing! Nearly everyone who attended the wedding noted just how 'us' the vows were. The questions she asked of us in preparation allowed her to know just who we are and what we stand for. She customized the ceremony to reflect our personalities--and she accomplished this in a mere 15 minute ceremony! She also directed us on how to walk down the aisle and stand at the 'altar'---she orchestrated the show in a very professional and efficient manner while at the same time making it personal, genuine and sincere. I highly recommend her!!!

Rev Davis performed our ceremony on 10/20/2012. I simply cannot express how happy we are that she was our officiant!! We were impressed from our very first meeting and booked her the night we met her. Her responsiveness was very quick and on point. The ceremony she customized for us had both of us in tears, as well as half our friends and family!! We had some non-traditional ideas and she was eager and happy to work with us. She is very open minded, professional, timely, courteous, and exactly what we wanted! I would recommend her without any hesitation and I think you should consider her as well!! Rev. Judi was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I had a bit of a non-traditional ceremony, and she performed it exactly the way that we had wished. Even though we had a very small ceremony and a small event, and had chosen not to meet with her prior to the wedding day, she managed to make it personal. She is very kind, professional, and well-spoken, and we immediately felt comfortable with her as soon as we walked in. She really did a wonderful job, and we would recommend her to anyone. Judi Davis did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony. As a couple with no religious affiliations, we were slightly daunted by the idea of creating a ceremony from scratch. However, Judi's questionnaire about how we met, our values, etc. provided her with all the information she needed to create a highly personalized narrative about our "love story," which was the narrative thrust of the ceremony, supplemented by the musical selections and readings that we picked out. After the ceremony, several of our guests remarked that it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they had attended. I think they liked it so much because it was highly personal. Judi was a pleasure to work with: responsive, flexible, and professional. And she's a good writer. Her ceremony was eloquent and flowed wonderfully, with just the right amount of humor and good cheer.

Judi did a good job of putting together a custom nonreligious ceremony that reflected our personalities and our unique connection. She has a good "stage presence" with warmth and gravitas. We were very happy with the job she did and received a lot of positive feedback on it from our guests as well.

Judi was amazing! The ceremony she performed for my now husband and I was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. There was nothing generic about it. Rev. Judi was amazzzzzzing!!! We really enjoyed her marrying us! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is not the "traditional" couple. We had a catholic and Jewish ceremony which Rev. Judi not only performed great but helped us bring the traditions we wanted together in a way that really fit together. She also worked with me to complete the ceremony program in the time i needed to have it by for the programs, eventhough it was very last minute. We have had non-stop comments about how amazing of a job she did. I can't wait for our 5 or 10 year vow renewal so Rev. Judi can wow us and our guests again. I wouldn't let anyone else marry us EVER! Rev. Judi is stuck with us for life. Thank you sooooo much Rev. Judi, I can't wait to see you again. You will remain in our hearts for many years to come.

Rev. Judi Mann performed our Wedding at the Osage National Golf Course on 10/08/12 and we could not have been happier. Rev. Judi worked with us on every aspect of the ceremony to make it exactly the way we wanted it. Our ceremony was extremely personal and that was very important to us. It seemed to be a difficult thing since we never met but she had a questioner that really was insightful and then even once she prepared the ceremony she allowed us to tweak it to fit our personality. I had so many friends and family that were so pleased with how Judi handled the ceremony and her professionalism and professionalization of the ceremony. I would recommend Rev Judi to anyone looking for a perfect wedding day!!

Judi officiated my wedding on August 28th, 2010. It was such a beautiful ceremony that people still talk about it. She was so open to any ideas that we had, it was truly our ceremony but we never could not have put it together without her. She certainly made our ceremony fit us to a "T"! Reverend Judi was our officiant for our wedding at the stadium. She did an amazing job. Giving us many options to choose from for the ceremony. Weather we wanted to personalize the whole thing, or just parts, or have her plan the whole thing, she was very accommodating. Judi was so easy going, yet professional at the same time. Her kindness towards us helped ease any nerves we had. I would highly recommend using Judi for your special day. She was such a great fit for us!!

Reverend Judi was an absolute pleasure to work with. We could not get into touch with the officiant that we had lined up for our wedding so we were in a panic to find someone fast. We were so pleased when we found Judi. She was very tentative to our needs, response time was great and she was very easy to work with. We choose to go with the short and sweet ceremony. She gave us many options to choose from for the ring and wedding vows. We were able to add/take out some of the wording to the options she had given us. We would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an officiant for their wedding.

We felt like we almost an inconvenience. We do not go to church regularly and knew that you wouldn't get the same feeling as you do with a clergyman. We still expected a bit more than we got. Basically we paid our money, picked out what we wanted said, Rev. Judi sent us a preview of the finalized ceremony for us to review, and she showed up on the day. A week before the wedding I received an email saying that since I had never gotten back with the specifics of our rehearsal that she had plans the night before our wedding so that night was not an option. I realized I should have gotten the rehearsal details to her, but I was planning a wedding and had a million things going on. An email reminding me that I had forgotten to pass the information along would have been nicer than the email I got. There was a minor freak out, but it all came together.
