Best day of my life!

This venue could not have been better for what we were looking for: quality, flexibility in customization, day-of the wedding coordinator, and considering the pricing, everything that was included was amazing. It took the pressure off of me in terms of vendor selection and was able to make it as simple or as customized as I wanted. It was the best day and everything turned out exactly how I imagined!

Loveliest wedding I have ever attended! Working with Leslie is seamless...above and beyond in all respects-and the beautiful venue makes any party intimate and special. AMAZING Grove wedding experience! Would recommend 10/10

As Coconut Grove residents, my husband and I knew we wanted to get married in the Grove. As soon as we stepped on the Women's Club property and met Akua and Leslie, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The team went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our vision was met. They are so easy to work with, flexible, and helpful in thinking through solutions for any potential issue. Our wedding was 125 people and we were a little nervous we would be tight, however the venue worked perfectly. The food was phenomenal and Chef Tim + Edwin did an incredible job making sure everything went smoothly that evening. I wish we could do it all over again! Thank you to Coconut Grove Events for the wedding of our dreams!

Our wedding was a dream.

Truly cannot thank Akua and the entire team at Coconut Grove Events enough for helping us throw an incredible wedding celebration. To start off, the venue itself is so warm and charming. Throw in incredible food, service, and music and you have a recipe for perfection. We have received so much positive feedback from our guests! It truly was a dream!

Our dream wedding came to life

Our wedding was better than anything I pictured in my dreams - and I don't say that lightly. My husband and I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was truly one of the most magical days of our lives. I was not the girl who had this vision of their wedding since they were little, but as you start putting everything together you have a vision you really want to come to life. My husband and I looked in Tulum, Chicago, and Virginia Beach at venues and Miami. Upon a friend's recommendation, we looked into the Women's Club of Coconut Grove and we knew it was the perfect fit. We wanted our wedding to feel like an intimate dinner party with our family and friends. We showed Leslie a picture of what we wanted our reception to look like and said we wanted it to look identical to what we showed. When we walked in on the day of our wedding, it looked better than the photo we shared. Leslie is cool, calm and collected - which is appreciated when weddings can be everything but. She shared her honest thoughts in a few moments that were pivotal (like the ceremony location), and I'm so grateful we got to go through this process with her. Avant Gardens did the flowers and they were absolutely breathtaking. We wanted two long farm tables for the reception, and showed a photo and they captured the photo and brought it to life. When we walked in to the venue we couldn't belive our eyes. It was so stunning - the flowers, candles, etc; were absolutely stunning.The food was even better than our tasting! Everyone raved about the food, and as wedding food typically isn't great, people were complimenting the appetizers, entree and Guava cake (by Malca Cakes) for weeks afterwards. The DJ, Adrian from A Productions Inc. was fantastic. He took the playlists we gave him and added his own flair, we added an extra hour at the end because we couldn't get enough and he knew exactly how to play the final hour of night. We got lucky with perfect weather.... but I get teary eyed writing this review because our wedding was truly better than we could've ever imagined and we could've have had it at a better venue. We had 80 people and everyone asks if we're going to do an anniversary party every year because they want to re-do the day as much as we do. My biggest thanks to Leslie and all of her vendors. We walk past the venue often and every time my heart is filled with so much gratitude. We looked at a few venues in Miami and I'm beyond happy with where we ended up - it couldn't have been better. I know I'm gushing - but it's because everything was spectacular.

Highly Recommend - 2024 Wedding Reception

We got married in January this year and chose the Woman’s Club for our reception. The location was perfect as we got married in the church across the street, and the venue is beautiful, but what really sold us was the package options. Catering, cake, and decor were all included and customizable. There were lots of great add on options such as a sparkler send off and a coffee cart. We also booked our photographer, florist, and DJ through the venue, all of which were great.
I have to give a special thank you to Leslie, the Co-owner and Wedding Planner. We live out of state, and I was very nervous about the planning. She took care of so many things including scheduling the tasting for the catering, finding and booking a Photo Booth, creating the timeline for the reception, and coordinating setup and breakdown the day of. She even assisted me in ordering a surprise dessert display for the groom. She met with us multiple times during the planning to go over everything, and was always professional. Our reception turned out exactly the way we wanted and I would enthusiastically recommend this venue.

Fantastic!

What an overall perfect event! From the beginning, Leslie and her team were so attentive to all our questions, helping us with decisions that ultimately allowed our event to look and feel perfect. The venue was gorgeous, food was amazing ( received so many compliments on the food) and all the extra bells and whistles such as the ice cream cart really added to the experience. We had a rainy start and the team had plan B in action and no one knew the difference. We appreciate the flexibility, creativity and all around class!

CGWC was the best!

We couldn't have imagined a better venue for our wedding. The architecture is beautiful, the trees outside are amazing, and the inside has so much warmth and charm. Leslie and her team of vendors were fabulous, and the packages offered made everything so easy for us. Thank you, Leslie!

Malcolm and Alex wedding

I firmly believe than when someone receives great service they should be commended. My family and I flew out to Miami for Malcolm and Alexandra's wedding this past weekend and was not disappointed. Words cannot express how stunning the venue was. Everything from start to finish was amazing. I have to thank Mr and Mrs Rowe for paying such great attention to every detail that evening. a personalized & unique wedding experience

From the moment we met with Leslie, we knew Coconut Grove Women's Club would be our venue of choice. After cancelling our initial venue at the last minute, Leslie welcomed us with open arms and custom built our wedding. We got married on a Tuesday night and had a precise vision for what we wanted at our wedding and we got just that. A cocktail reception with live music in our home of Coconut Grove. The location is charming, the staff is great and the food is incredible! Will be using them again in the future!

Our wedding at the woman's club of coconut grove was perfect. Leslie helped us achieve our dream wedding and the venue was so beautiful. Everything was perfect!

Leslie and Akua gave us the wedding of our dreams at the Woman’s Club! It was raining all morning the day of our wedding but we really wanted an outdoor ceremony so it was a game time decision whether it was going to happen or not- Leslie made it happen and we couldn’t be more thankful! The food, the vibes, the service was all amazing! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!!

This is the place to be

How can I explain how perfect this venue was? At first I was very hesitant to book this venue due to feeling it was surrounded by a street and the possibility of cars during the ceremony. But let me tell you how wrong I was. I mentioned the next day to my family, I did not even notice the cars. They even forgot the cars were driving on the street as well. Not one single guest even mentioned it because you can’t tell the cars driving near by! When you enter the venue, it’s a whole different world. Our ceremony was outside, and we were completely secluded and sucked into the beauty of the venue.

Let’s touch base on how amazing Leslie and Akua were! They helped this wedding go flawlessly. Akua actually ended up being a bartender the day off. It was refreshing to see her being our bartender the day of. Leslie was available at any time. She helped to make sure that the wedding went smoothly with the help of my wedding coordinator as well. She was such an asset. I really loved being able to plan a wedding with them. We have planned this wedding in about two months and enjoyed every minute of it.

This venue is smaller than others in Miami, which makes it so special. We had about 84 guests and it was a perfect number. Everyone was raving about the venue and the location. This is the place to be!

Amazing wedding venue

This venue was perfect for us. We had 120 guests and the space was a perfect size as it felt intimate and still plenty of room for dancing. No one left the dance floor the whole time. The best part was Leslie!! She helped us so much planning our perfect day and all the vendors she works with are extremely talented and professional. We got our photos the next day from Rodrigo and they were sooo good. The DJ Adrian was sooooo amazing too. We helped him curate a list and he mixed it for us.

Overall, leslie and the team over at the woman’s club made our day super special and we felt like they truly cared about us!! 10/10 recommend

My wedding was amazing!

Cannot recommend this venue enough! Outside of being a gorgeous building and perfect location, the staff is wonderful. Leslie is great to work with, very knowledgeable and patient. The in house catering was spectacular, and the day of we had nothing to worry about thanks to Leslie and her incredible team.

A magical night

Woman's Club made my wedding a dream come true. From the food, the table linens (which many of the wedding party mentioned how obsessed they were). Silvia was amazing. Dream come true

When my husband and I first visited the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove, I instantly fell in love. From the outdoor garden and string lights to the fireplace and chandeliers, the venue was a dream. We worked with Silvia who was so helpful every step of the way. Our package included catering, rentals, bar, cake, DJ, lights, and valet and it all came together seamlessly which removed so much weight from my shoulders. If I could do it all over again, I’d choose this venue every time.

Fairytale Wedding Come True in Coconut Grove

Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful our wedding was. Starting with the charm and beauty of the venue. The Woman's Club is in lush Coconut Grove overlooking the water. The garden is the picture perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Inside, the charming decor, high ceilings, wood floors, elegant fireplace and fixtures are a stunning backdrop for a dream wedding. Leslie and her team of professionals are the best of the best. Leslie met regularly with me and my family during the planning process, was timely with responses to my sometimes myriad questions, and was always the consumate professional. She won my dad over with her poise and always on-point, classy suggestions for making our event - elegant + whimiscal and memorable. Leslie connected us with catering, florals, DJ - take her suggestions, all vendors were fantastic. On day-of, Leslie kep me calm with her presence, even bustled my dress! Her husband, Rudy, was also a class-act, staying with us on the day-of and orchestrating a very memorable sparkler exit. I couldn't have been happier with Woman's Club of Coconut Grove and Leslie's team. Luckily, I live close by, and run by "our spot" regularly and it makes me smile every time. - Ana, one very happy bride

Amazing team and amazing venue

My partner and I got married this past weekend and it was an AMAZING night. We had been waiting to get married since 2020 but like most brides, we had to postpone our wedding. It also made it a little difficult for us because my partner is a doctor. Luckily, Leslie and her staff were EXTREMELY understanding. We called her many times and she always answered our questions. Leslie and her staff are attentive, understanding, supportive, and helpful. The venue was also a PERFECT space for us and we could not have asked for a better night.

Perfect Wedding!

We couldn’t have been happier with the Leslie, Silvia, and the rest of the team at The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove! They were there at all hours to answer any of our questions through calls, emails and texts, and really put our minds at ease with the craziness that can come along with wedding planning. Leslie recommended vendors for our photographer, DJ and cake, and they were all extremely helpful and did an amazing job! Leslie was there on our wedding day to make sure everything was perfect, and even went above and beyond - helping us set up our wedding arch, center pieces, and all other finishing touches. It really felt as though she was part of our family. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend anyone who’s planning a wedding to do so at The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove! Above and beyond!

Leslie and her team went above and beyond for our wedding at the Club. Not only did the venue take our breath away and was booked after it being the first and only venue we saw, but the planning and execution process exceeded our expectations. We were a couple planned to marry the first weekend of the pandemic. Two postponements and a year and a half year later, Leslie and her team were patient, replanned with us and delivered beyond what we dreamed of. We are so thankful for her flexibility and passion for her craft. It was all evident in our wedding and we couldn't be more grateful!

My dream wedding

After postponements and some sweat and tears we celebrated our wedding this past March at the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove.
I fell in love with the venue from the beginning. It’s such a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Coconut Grove with so much character. It was just the most perfect location for our intimate wedding.

Working with Leslie and Vanessa was also a great experience. I appreciated how flexible and supportive they were when the pandemic hit and we had to postpone. Our micro-wedding package was a great value, and the vendors that came with the club were incredible too.

Leslie did a beautiful job on our wedding day making sure we were happy and that everything ran smoothly. We got rain at the very last minute before our ceremony and she and her team were able to move everything inside so quickly and make it look just as beautiful and perfect.

Yes, I highly recommend this beautiful venue.

Best day ever

There aren’t enough words for me to express how I feel about the Coconut Grove women’s club and Coconut Grove Events. The venue is magical. The staff was exceptional and the food was five star. I can’t say enough about Leslie. She is detail oriented, highly experienced and will find every way to make sure that your wedding is the most memorable experience you will ever have.
This place is truly a special place. I only wish I could re-live that day again.

Our Coconut Grove wedding!

My husband and I struggled to find the right venue for us back in North Carolina! During a visit to my parents house in Miami we decided to tour The Woman’s Club last minute and absolutely fell in love with the space and Leslie. Leslie welcomed us and our family and we immediately loved that she was open to all of our ideas. She answered every question and we appreciated all of her suggestions. Leading up to our big day she was so helpful in coordinating our vendors. Having the dj, cake, food and flowers arranged through the venue was the best! We couldn’t be happier with all of them. Our DJ, Adrian was incredible and had our guests dancing from the beginning to the end. Avant Gardens provided the most beautiful flowers. The food was incredible- truly like dining at a restaurant. And our cake was one of the most talked about aspects of our wedding! COVID challenged our wedding ceremony and reception in many ways but Leslie and the staff worked with us to arranged a safe, socially distanced ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and even dance floor! We could not be happier with our experience with Coconut Grove Events.

Leslie is amazing!

Just wow! Leslie is the most professional and thorough individual I have interacted with during my time wedding planning. She is incredibly responsive, kind, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. I did not end up booking my wedding here based on other factors, but of all of the wedding planners she has been the best to work with! I really loved the in-person presentation we saw on site and loved their beautiful remodeled kitchen and charming lawn.

The interior space is also very lovely with great offerings. I will recommend this venue to others and keep it in mind for future events! This team has a star leader and will certainly do great things!

We started looking for venues that would work for our rustic wedding vision. We had heard great things about the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove and loved what we saw in pictures. When we visited it, it really was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. We went with them because their all-inclusive package made our planning so much easier. We only had to choose between a few florists, bakeries, and DJs, and the catering and rental was included. This really made a complicated process like wedding planning so much easier. Working with Leslie was great and she made our day perfect. She made sure everything ran smoothly and if there were any problems, we never found out about it. I cannot recommend Coconut Grove Events and this venue enough.

Dream come true

This venue was perfect for us! From the minute we walked in there a year ago until our wedding day, not one negative thing to say. It was exactly what we wanted our wedding to be, from the garden ceremony to the fantastic cocktail hour and beautiful reception.

Magical - exceeded my expectations

After hearing horror stories from friends, acquaintances, and just about everyone on and off the internet regarding wedding planning I was honestly prepared for the worst case scenario
I need not have worried - simply by choosing The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove I was armed with Lia my literal wedding fairy - she made wedding planning something far from tedious ; dare I say I was one of the lucky unicorns who pretty much enjoyed the process of wedding planning
Lia literally took care of every worry before I even had it - she gave me advice on what would best help bring my vision to life. She was always accessible (even after getting engaged herself in the early stages of planning my wedding) - she helped me with every detail (from picking the linen colors to best fit what I had in mind to helping me coordinate surprising my guests the day of the wedding with a surprise belly dance performance)
It’s been almost two weeks and I still have people messaging me and my husband saying “it’s the most fun wedding we’ve ever been to” and “I’m amazed at all the attention to detail - it was beyond amazing)
I could not imagine putting together my wedding together without Lia ; she truly is my magical wedding fairy who brought my vision to light

Loved my wedding

The location alone, is beautiful. It is a intimate and romantic venue, my now husband and me fell in love with the wooden beams and chandeliers. Our wedding was 105 people and there was enough room especially for dancing (I had my doubts, but it was the perfect space). I Mainly worked with Lia, and she was amazing, she made the process seem easy and calmed me down during my stressful spirals, always assuring me my wedding was going to be beautiful; which it was. The food was delicious, and the service fantastic. I had the simple package which included me bringing my own vendors except the food and there were no issues. We were even able to bring our own alcohol for no extra fee so that was really nice. Overall amazing, my wedding was everything I dreamed it to be and more.

We chose the perfect location!

I can’t imagine celebrating our wedding somewhere else. Since the moment we did the tour we knew we had found the venue. Lia, our coordinator and planner, was a true sweetheart and she guided us every step of the way, she was always available to address our concerns, and the process was so smooth we hardly felt the so called pressures of event planning.
One of the good things the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove and Coconut Grove Events have is that they include many things in their package so you don’t have to worry about dealing with multiple vendors, plus, the quality and standards of such vendors will really make your wedding a dream come true. I wish we could do it all over again! ❤️

Most Magical Day

Lia is the best coordinator and made us feel confident throughout the entire planning. She also took care of every detail on the day of, and we could not have asked for a better DOC. Excellent & beyond expectations

While planning our wedding, my husband and I were dedicated to finding a venue that felt different from the typical Miami venues. We wanted something that was cozy, warm, gorgeous, and rustic. The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove was exactly what we wanted, and we are so grateful that we decided to have our wedding there.

Working with Leslie Rowe was the highlight of our experience. Planning weddings can be stressful, but thanks to Leslie's professionalism, expertise, patience, kindness, and humor, we had a seamless and extraordinary experience. She was there with us every step of the way, prompt and responsive to each and every question that we had.

Our wedding was truly magical. It was beautiful, heartfelt, and warm. The club looked amazing and everything about our vision came to life. Leslie made sure everything ran perfectly, and if something came up, she fixed it quickly, and with poise.

Our wedding guests are also still talking about how good the food was, and said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We decided on a custom menu and the team was open to everything we wanted.

We wish we could do our wedding again, and I highly recommend Leslie and The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove to any and all brides out there for a beautiful, special, and unforgettable experience!

It was great working with Leslie and staff. Every one was very nice and accommodating. Always called us back and answered all our questions right away. Everything went very smooth the day of the wedding. From the lighting, table settings we chose, chairs, bathroom cleanliness. Food was delicious. the DJ (Adrian/Chris) where incredibly great. When I first met with Leslie at the Women's Club of Coconut Grove, I knew this was a special venue with a special group of people organizing weddings. I had 2 months to throw our wedding together and this place had the perfect all-inclusive package in order to pull everything together in such a short period of time. Our package included most of the floral arrangements, the DJ, the wedding cake, 5 hours of premium open bar, a welcome drink, the meal and hors d'oeuvres...and Leslie as your coordinator! It was a little out of my initial budget range, but I made an exception as I felt a strong warmth and intimacy within the venue and having Leslie keep everything on track in the leadup and the day of the wedding... it was 100% worth every penny. The food was outstanding, the DJ was so much fun and so easy to work with, the florist did a breathtaking job, and the overall event was overflowing with romance. It was a magical day we won't soon forget.

Let me just start this by saying I hardly every write reviews. Like something has to be beyond perfect in order for me to take the time to do this. Well there are no better words to describe this weekend and the service I received than beyond perfect. My husband and I were supposed to be married in St. Thomas VI (our hometown) back in November of 2017. Our lives changed drastically when two category 5 hurricanes struck our beloved home, destroying not only our venues, but countless of our friends and families homes. Bradly and I have been together for 8 years so for our dream wedding to get cancelled after all this time was difficult to accept. We both agreed we would have to take the wedding off island due to the fact we did not even get power restored until January 5th, 4 months after the storm hit. We happened to be traveling to Miami in November for an engagement party so I decided to start looking at new venues. The Women's Club was the second place I looked at and absolutely fell in love. From the moment I met Amanda she gave me all the good vibes I needed. She was overly accommodating, reassuring, and took care of all the details I mentally did not have the energy to figure out the second time around. In all honesty, our group was taking a more go with the flow perspective on the event as we were so tired from everything back home and just wanted everyone to have a good time! Amanda totally got our vibe and made sure everything happened seamlessly so we wouldn't have to be bothered by the details. She handled everything with the most ease and fun attitude I could have hoped for. The day before the wedding I literally just dropped off three boxes of unorganized stuff and she took my vision and turned the room into the absolute most beautiful reception anyone could ask for. I didn't have to deal with anything as Amanda took care of it all! I would highly recommend this venue to everyone and anyone who asked! As I said earlier, beyond perfect!!

Wow. There are no words for how amazing my experience was at the Womans Club for hosting my wedding. Amanda was the most calming person to work with, and she was with me from start to end. She acted as my day of coordinator and worked with me plenty of times up until my wedding. Included in my venue was the bar, food, DJ and all decor. I provided my own hair, photographer, cake and floral. If you want a beautiful Miami wedding, and you do not want to break the bank... I HIGHLY recommend coming here. I would not change a thing.

My biggest recommendation is to get Amanda as your point of contact. My experience with Leslie was much less than desired, and I definitely felt a stronger connection to Amanda. Amanda is very attentive, kind and is very detail oriented. The same experience was not done by Leslie.

What a wonderful experience at the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove !! In keeping with our wishes, the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove created a romantic and magical atmosphere for what ended up being our 1920s Parisian style wedding. The venue fitted us perfectly. In fact, our guest can not stop raving about how lovely the venue was. The magic that I envisioned and that was brought to life in this beautiful, charming and historical building took my breath away. Our tenth wedding anniversary was handled as if it was the most delicate of events. Everything was on schedule the food was exquisite, the decor was elegant, the staff was professional smiling and on point. I can't wait to hold another event and have Leslie and Amanda help to do so. This venue (and Amanda!) made our lives so easy when planning a wedding. My husband and I were planning the wedding from afar, and couldn't have done it without Amanda's expertise, advice, and organizational skills. The setting was perfect (you can choose to have your ceremony or cocktails indoors or outdoors) and the inside is very romantic (vaulted wooden ceilings paired with dreamy chandeliers). Everyone had the best time and the choice of vendors was perfect- I trusted their judgment and we couldn't be happier.

I cannot begin to rave enough about the outstanding job the team at WCCG did for our wedding. We were married at WCCG the beginning of January 2017 but have been planning our wedding for close to a year and WCCG was the first place we visited. We knew right away that we wanted to get married there because the venue is absolutely beautiful. Its intimate and classic and because it has such a great historic look to it we needed very little décor because of its already great aesthetic. WCCG allows you to bring in your own vendors but do yourself a favor and go with one of their in house wedding packages and you will not be disappointed. We worked with Amanda Watson for our wedding and she was fantastic and made our wedding vision a reality. Just her coordination during the final stages of the wedding and the day of were worth going with their wedding package alone which was not very expensive when we began to compare them with other vendors. The food was fantastic, as was the cake, DJ, and the entire staff that worked the day of the wedding. Our wedding guests could not stop raving about how beautiful our wedding was, how delicious the food was, and how much fun they had. I would recommend the WCCG and Coconut Grove Events 110% to anyone looking to host a very well organized and beautiful wedding or event.

My dream venue!!! I decided on the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove after seeing 4 other venues. As us brides know very well, Weddings are a business. Unfortunately that's exactly what it felt like with every venue I went to, except the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove. I emailed them to schedule a walk through and I immediately got a response. When my husband, mom and I got there we were immediately greeted by my "wedding fairy god mother" Amanda (she was AMAZING) and as soon as we walked in, we knew this was our venue. While we were walking through the venue, she made it clear that they could and WOULD tailor everything to be exactly how my husband and I wanted our day to be. And that's exactly what happened. Being that I lived on the west coast of FL, Amanda's immediate responses and attentiveness was so helpful. The day of, Amanda had everything handled, I didn't have to worry about a thing! I had an amazing experience at the Woman's Club for my wedding. Me and my husband worked with Amanda who was great at helping us discover what would really work for us. The venue is beautiful and convenient, all out of town guests loved Coconut Grove. The venue is wonderfully traditional, I am from Virginia and was looking for something not so modern, this worked beautifully with my Bluegrass band, and Piano cocktail hour! Things at our wedding got hectic because of some family miscommunications and rain, but Amanda handled it beautifully. As a bride who really wanted the least stress possible, Amanda really went above and beyond to help me with that goal so all I had to do was show up!! When I look back on my wedding day it was just lovely. It was so perfect for me and my husband. My biggest suggestion to brides is to choose the venue where you have the most support, at woman's club as a bride you have so much support. I was able to call or email Amanda whenever and have a fast response and really felt like she was working to make things easier for me!!

Beautiful venue across from the gorgeous sailboat marina (great for photos). The best part being the wedding coordinator Amanda Watson. She is beyond helpful answering any questions or concerns we had at literally any time of the day, which put my wife (Bride) at ease knowing someone was always ready to assist with any unforeseen issues. We would recommend this venue and all of the employees to anyone of our friends that is looking for a location for their next event!

Let me start off by saying that I went to a lot of venues, even some a couple of hours away from my home just trying to find the perfect venue for a reasonable price. Through my research I stumbled upon the woman's club of coconut grove, I took a chance and drove to Miami on a day off and that was truly the best decision I ever made! Once I stepped foot in this venue I instantly knew this was it! The Woman's club of Coconut Grove has such a wonderfully historic and rustic feel, which is hard to find in south florida and was exactly what we were looking for. With in moments of walking through the door I was greeted by Amanda, she was so friendly and kind we had immediate connection and I knew she was the perfect fit! When she informed me that she was the wedding coordinator who came with the venue if we were to purchase one of the venues wedding packages, I was sold! From that day forward, we were in contact, she made us feel at ease, she was always available to answer any of my questions at any time and was so incredibly helpful! The wedding package we chose was worth every penny. Me and my husband felt like we got so much for our money and are so lucky that we were able to afford our dream wedding at such an incredible venue! Our wedding was perfect, and we would not change a thing. It was organized to the T, the venue was spot on for our vision and all of the vendors that are affiliated with this venue were amazing. The guests raved about the service and how beautiful the space was. Everyone who worked the wedding was so attentive, and really went above and beyond to make our special day so amazing. I can not say enough about how amazing this venue is and how incredible the staff is. I am forever grateful for all of their hard work, our wedding day was truly the best day ever!!

If I could give this venue 10 stars then I would. Where to begin. When I was initially searching for venues I came across this hidden gem. I went to see it already with the mentality that it would be out of our price range but hey let's go look at it and see. I instantly fell in love. And truth be told, this venue is extremely affordable! I looked at plenty of other venues in this one had the best price and the best bargain for your price. I would definitely recommend the all-inclusive package. This venue was very flexible with us bringing our own alcohol and they allowed us to pick and choose things to take out of our package that we felt we could provide ourselves.The historic feel within this venue and the vintage touches are truly one-of-a-kind. The hardwood floors, wooden ceiling rafters in vintage chandeliers set the perfect romantic tone for my intimate hundred person wedding.

As for the wedding coordinator, Amanda, just wow! She is the real MVP! I had been coordinating with her for over a year on how to make my special day perfect, and she certainly did not disappoint! She responded quickly to every email I sent and had more than enough patience with me throughout this entire process. I would recommend her to everyone I know! It is mainly because of her why I had such a stress free experience when planning this wedding. She was my ultimate go to and for that I will be forever grateful.

The caterer that this venue works with was outstanding as well! They were very professional throughout my cocktail hour and reception. They easily accommodated my gluten-free and vegan guests and overall didn't outstanding job!

Cloud nine bakery which this venue contracts with for cakes also did an amazing job! My cake came out even more amazing than I expected!

If you are looking for a venue, look no further!

My husband and I were so fortunate to find this beautiful hidden gem to be our venue. Born and raised in Miami, and frequenters of the Grove, we had never noticed the club before. It was meant to be once we stepped inside and saw the gorgeous chandeliers hung up on their high ceilings along with the wood flooring and that magnificent fireplace. The venue, inside and out, is beautiful and encompasses that old Miami charm. During the wedding planning, Leslie was very responsive to all of our emails; especially since we were planning from upstate in Tallahassee and weren't able to meet up as easily. She was always informative and helpful in answering any and all of our many questions. Leslie knows the industry well and made us confident that everything would go off without a hitch. They were also intuitive in setting up our decor and DIY items with little explanation. The stress and excitement of the big day is enough that you don't want to be dealing with all those set up details- Coconut Grove Events takes care of everything. We went with their inclusive package, but worked with Leslie to cut back on details that better suited our budget. I highly recommend their package since they know their vendors well, and that makes such a huge difference if you don't hire a wedding coordinator- like us. The catering was excellent, the food was delicious and they worked with us to create a custom menu. The catering staff was so attentive, my husband and I always had food and drinks at our sweetheart table. The package includes the fantastic Cloud9 Bakery for your wedding cake, which was delicious! Everything turned out amazing and everyone has commented on the beautiful venue. We cannot be happier with our choice and would recommend The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove to anyone!

The venue was beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Everyone I made contact with at the venue was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone I know. The owner Rudy and Co-owner were very nice and helpful and I could not thank them enough for everything they did. Our friends and family loved the place too and thought it was breathtaking. We have not stopped getting compliments about how nice everything was at the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove for our wedding.

Amanda Watson is the real MVP!! My fiancee and I came into the Woman's club not knowing what to expect. Prior to this venue we searched many other places that was far out of our budget, but when we came across the woman's club and had our first meeting with Amanda we fell in love. The venue is beautiful and needed little decoration, and working with Amanda made everything so much smoother. Throughout many months of planning, Amanda became more of than a wedding coordinator, but a friend to myself and my fiancee. We love her and love the staff at the Woman's club who was very helpful. Our wedding turned out better than we expected, for anybody who is interested in the Woman's club pleaese check them out and ask for Amanda. Amanda will do everything in her power to turn your dreams into a reality!

The Coconut Grove Women's Club made my wife and I's dream wedding come to life. The owners (Leslie & her husband) sat with us and listened to our ideas and what we wanted for our special day. They were by our sides every step of the way from appointments, to adding things, changes, etc. The night of our wedding, every detail we spoke about was carried out to perfection. Our guests as well as us were floored with how beautiful everything came together. The staff was incredible, the food & cake was spectacular & the DJ kept everyone dancing all night. Most importantly, they made us a very happy bride & groom. We recommend this venue to any couple looking for an intimate and magical occasion.

This venue was where we had our reception and it is beautiful and the price was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and made the venue absolutely beautiful they also were able to do many communications via e-mail, so being a busy bride is not a problem with the staff of the venue.

I fell in love with this location since day one! This a gorgeous historic property, where classic meets romance, from the floors, chandeliers and fireplace. My venue was breathtaking once it was all set up. Dream wedding.

I can’t thank Amanda enough! Amanda helped me through every step of the way, she understood the look and feel I wanted. She was patient, helpful and nothing short than amazing. I was sad not to have seen at the time of the event.

My review is specifically for Amanda Watson who was the lead on our wedding this past weekend. Amanda is absolutely amazing at what she does!! When I first booked the venue I had a very difficult time getting any questions answered from one of the owners of the event company. Getting information was like pulling teeth and thus, I reached out to Amanda to see if she was available to step in and take the lead on our wedding. Without hesitation she jumped right in and from then on, every question I had was answered almost immediately (literally!) It is hard to know what questions to even ask when you are planning a wedding and it can feel very overwhelming. Amanda always put my mind at ease and thought of every little detail along the way. We did the "Love and so much more" package through the venue which gives you a few choices of vendors for flowers, cake, and DJ. Amanda provided me with all the information I needed to decide which vendor fit our wedding style, and she made sure each vendor created exactly what we wanted! And this was all BEFORE the wedding! On the day of... Amanda was AMAZING! She's literally a wedding Ninja! She was everywhere at once, making sure the whole day was executed perfectly. We had really stormy weather the day of my wedding and ended up having to set up the ceremony inside. At the very last second, the storm subsided and Amanda made our outdoor ceremony happen just as we had envisioned! Her ability multitask is truly amazing!! She is also the sweetest person and made herself available to me via phone call or text whenever I needed!! The Woman's club is a beautiful venue with a great location especially for out of town guests, but Amanda was what really made our day come to together so perfectly. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend Amanda for wedding or event coordination!!

Our wedding in May was fabulous thanks to Amanda with CGE. We live out of state and had to coordinate many things via email and phone calls but all worked out beautifully. We meet with Amanda a few times when we visited Miami and each visit was productive and meet our expectations! Our design concept was executed flawlessly. It even extended what we thought we were going to experience. We were hooked up with the best DJ and cake artist. Amanda did a lot for us and our guests were well taken care of! Cheers to Amanda and the team at the Womens club of coconut grove !

We were looking for a place that would match the rustic vibe we were going for and we definitely found it. This place is beautiful. The wood floor and beams and the fireplace are perfect for a vintage/rustic wedding. The event coordinator, Erika was amazing. She made sure everything went perfect. Our wedding went on without any glitches thanks to Erika. At the end of the night the staff packed to go containers for me and the groom. The place is pet friendly so my husband surprised me by including our yorkie in the wedding. Erika even made sure Bentley (Yorkie) had something to eat and drink. The guests have not stopped talking about the food. Everything was beautiful.

Beautiful venue and excellent event planning team

Leslie and the rest of the team at Coconut Grove Events did an excellent job handling our wedding. She met with us in person several times to help iron out the details and gave us excellent advice and recommendations. During our wedding day, we were able to feel at ease knowing that the team she had put in place would take care of us and that any small issues that popped up during an event of this magnitude would be corrected as quickly as possible. They were able to find a way to make each and every request possible. Leslie, Rudy, and Akua all were extremely professional and were a massive part of our day coming together as it did. We absolutely would recommend this team and this venue to any couple looking to plan for their wedding.

Definitely worth it. Very professional and helpful people to work with. They are very flexible and willing to find a solution to any inconvenience you may encounter throughout the process. The Venue is beautiful with a lot of nice areas and hotels nearby for your guest to stay. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Pricing - chairs are provided, and yes, prices do add up quickly, but if you’re detailed about the planning and cut from other areas of your event, you can make it work. We worked with their DJ Ubi, and that worked well for us too.

What stood out the most to us, was a particular situation where our wedding coordinator wasn’t at all what she promised to be (not tied to the WCCG), and she fell extremely short in her duties and promises. Leslie and our other event staff picked it all up however and brought on their A-game. The fiasco that could’ve been, was not an issue and the preparations went on without a hitch.

So our recommendation is to go for it! We’re pretty picky and anal about details, and WCCG handled our matters without issue. You’re in good hands as Leslie is great to work with, and quite experienced within the industry.

My wedding ceremony was held at this venue and I was pleased with my choice after visiting many venues. Judi was very hands on and assisted with everything needed to ensure my big day was exactly what I wanted and more. They were very accommodating in ensuring I was able to rehearse with my wedding party and coordinating with the vendors to ensure the setup was exactly how I wanted it. I would highly recommend using this venue as they are very professional, patient, and ensured I was completed satisfied and not to mention the venue is gorgeous.

Throughout the planning process, Leslie was great! She was very responsive to our emails and always accommodated our visits when we came in from out of town. Similarly, Tim, who supervised our event, was phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about him. He really did everything in his power to work with our caterers to make our event a success. Everything was beautiful and the space looked incredibly romantic. Everyone complimented us on our unique venue selection. It really was worth the expense and the staff at Coconut Grove Events was superb. Highly recommended!

We spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect venue that would be unique, elegant, special and cozy - not your typical ballroom. We LOVED this venue, as did our guests. It's not easy to find a historical building in Miami. The Woman's Club is cozy and beautiful in its simplicity. Leslie Rowe and her team were very professional and helped make the event run smoothly. They provided the venue, draping on the ceiling (which was key), lighting throughout and the parking attendant. The draping and lighting were crucial to set the mood. The venue is beautiful, but it needs some touches to make it stand out a bit more... and on 'value' I put 4 stars only because the "touches" each cost quite a bit. It's important to be conscious of the fact that the venue rental fee is one thing, but you'd have to add all the extras (which can really add up). We brought an outside wedding planning/catering company/florist, but Leslie Rowe did offer a great and competitive package. I'd do it here again in a heartbeat.. I'm still in love with "our" special venue.

I worked with Judi and she was very nice and was always available to discuss any concerns I had. For someone who is busy and has a budget, this venue is great because they have an all inclusive package and the event coordinator helps in the planning and taking care of the details.

Our wedding turned out perfectly, couldn't have asked for better. Amanda and Leslie were great as were their vendors. I was not the bride that had a vision of her perfect day, but thanks to CGWC I had the perfect day I didn't know I wanted. The venue is classic, beautiful Old Florida at its best and definitely made our day feel intimate and special to celebrate with our family and friends.
