My husband and I wanted a fall/barn style wedding and that is exactly what we got! This venue is beautiful with 3 different spots to get married. We got married at the pond and the pictures are amazing. What is great about this venue is they have an area inside for ceremonies if it rains/snows (you never know with upstate new york weather). The coordinators did an amazing job setting up. Everything was exactly how I wanted it. Maria was so friendly and helpful. She would answer any questions we had and was very accomidating. She also had a list of recommended vendors, so that made it very easy to find our photographer, DJ, and caterer. This venue also has a "borrowed" closet with decorations that you can use, and that saved us quite a bit of money. Everyone raved about how gorgeous this venue was! I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the upstate new york area! Especially, in the fall. The views are amazing and your pictures will be amazing!

The location and setting is stunning!! There are cabins and a house on premises to rent for overnight accomodations! Great venue, no need to look anywhere else!

Wonderful!
My wife and I had our wedding at Wolf Oak Acres this past October and the day was nothing short of spectacular. Every single thing went very smooth and stress free thanks to Lauren and the staff. The venue itself was by far the best looking site we have seen and are very happy we chose Wolf Oak Acres for our big day!
I have worked with Wolf Oak a number of times and it is always an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend!!

We absolutely enjoyed our beautiful day here! Lauren was quick to respond to everything I needed, the best part of it was Katrina was also extremely helpful while Lauren was busy. The communication made the day alot less stressful! I would highly recommend the cabins for anyone wanting to book the venue out of convenience and because they are beautiful!

Phenomenal wedding experience!
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Wolf Oak Acres. From the very beginning when we were looking to book a venue, Katrina did an excellent job providing insight and meaningful guidance. When Lauren took over with most communications after we booked, we were still incredibly thankful for the prompt replies whether via email, phone or text.
Fast forward to our big day, I was extremely calm from beginning to end because of the amazing work done by the Wolf Oak team. The only thing I had to worry about was walking down the aisle; they took care of everything else. They made our setup so easy and made it all come together wonderfully. There is not a single thing we would change about our wedding day, and we have Katrina, Lauren and team to thank for that! THANK YOU! ❤️

Wolf Oak Acres should be at the top of your list for wedding venue consideration! From attentive staff to GORGEOUS scenery you will not be disappointed. Wolf Oak has multiple options for your ceremony if you choose to do it on the grounds. Endless options for photo ops, cozy cabins where you can spend the night and staff who will attend to your every need. Manager Lauren, made sure we had everything we needed. She answered all phone calls and emails, she was available for extra visits to the venue and put me completely as ease the day of the wedding. I am only getting married once but I would get married at Wolf Oak again in a heartbeat.

Wolf Oak Acres is a very private and convenient place to hold a wedding reception. The property and facilities are extremely clean and well maintained, lots of great places for wedding photos, easy parking and plenty of room for lots of guests. The staff were awesome and our reception was very laid back and enjoyable for everyone. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking!

The staff at wolf Oak Acres was absolutely amazing! They made sure everything went smoothly for our wedding day! It was the best day ever!
Wolf Oaks was everything we wanted and more. I cannot talk about this venue enough. Not only is the property absolutely beautiful, but the staff was incredible and made sure that we had the most memorable day possible. With everything that went on with COVID, we were feeling very down and worried that we couldn't have the day we planned for. Wolf Oak Acres made that happen for us and we cannot thank them enough for making this day so special for us!

Dream Venue
I remember when we were first looking at venues, I wasn't even going to visit in the first place because I had my heart set on somewhere else. My mom convinced me to visit (thankfully) while we were touring venue locations. I was blown away. Everything we needed was right there. The venue was GORGEOUS photography spots and there were cabins right on the property that the bridal party stayed in over the weekend. Russell and Katrina were so helpful every step of the way. The day of, I never had to lift a finger. They made sure that we were on time for everything as well as made sure that we were taken care of every step of the way (Russell even made sure that I was drinking water and eating before the wedding). We heard from all of our guests how absolutely gorgeous our venue was and how they felt taken care of the whole evening as well.

Wow! The day was supposed to be a beautiful day but it ended up raining, Russ was quick to change everything around and make the inside beautiful. Wow! A perfect venue with incredible owners
Katrina and Russ at Wolf Oak Acres (WOA) are simply amazing. We had our wedding at WOA this past Saturday and we are just so happy that we chose this venue. Travel back 2 years in time: I was in the most miserable mood from checking out venues which were not at all what I was looking for and I was going to skip the WOA appointment because I was so bummed out from the other venues and my fiancé told me to just give it a shot. Within 10 seconds of stepping foot on WOA I had decided that it was the venue for us and we signed a contract a few days later. It was totally worth the wait to have a Saturday fall wedding at WOA. Katrina and Russ were SO helpful/organized/detail oriented. Katrina responded to emails in a manner that I can only describe as instantaneous. She was always super helpful in guiding us through the wedding planning process and offered her suggestions without being pushy. We really liked how the venue had multiple location options: the pond, the creek side, the indoor option, upstairs cocktail hour with the porch, and the downstairs reception. The WOA buildings and grounds are breaktakingly beautiful. We also really loved staying in the cabins with our parents and bridal party and enjoyed the nighttime bonfire after our busy day. Katrina and Russ, you hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for helping us make our dream wedding a reality.

Absolutely Perfect
We had our wedding at Wolf Oak Acres this past Saturday (9/21) and it was perfect. Katrina, Russ, and their staff were exceptional. They were always there to make sure everything was going as is should be. They always answered emails quickly and were super helpful in the planning process as well. Most of our guests were from out of town and the couldn't stop gushing over how beautiful the venue was. There are so many great places for photos, and the ceremony locations are absolutely gorgeous. It was so awesome and easy getting ready upstairs. Plenty of room for hair makeup and places to get dress. Clean up was a breeze and Russ helped shuttle everything up to our cabin, which were just as great as the barn. They even deliver breakfast to your cabin in the mornings, which was delicious.

To the rescue
Wolf Oak Acres was a LIFESAVER for us. We had originally had our entire wedding planned at a different venue and after an extremely terrible experience we had to change our venue. Katrina was able to fit us into her busy schedule allowing us to tour the venue and gave us several options as far as what we could do having to completely change our wedding plans. In order to keep a Saturday event we had to change our date, which cost us 4 months of planning, but you'd have never known it because of how amazing Katrina and her husband Russell are. She was always a resource I could use for suggestions, ideas, advice, or even decorations! Yes, you read that right, they have a whole inventory of things you can use to save money on decorations! She made me feel very comfortable amongst the stress of planning a wedding the 2nd time around. And the day of our event could not have gone any better! Russell ("the bustler") was impeccable. He made sure our day went off without a hitch! He helped us in any way he could, and yes that includes helping with the bustling process! They were both extremely kind and very professional. The cabins on site we're also amazing. It was nice not worrying how we'd get back to a hotel after a few too many pops and they even started a campfire for us to enjoy after. I'd highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL venue to anyone looking for a rustic yet classy and elegant venue space!

Fantastic place to have wedding
Wolf Oak Acres is the best place to have your wedding. The grounds are beautiful for pictures. They have a large venue, upstairs has bar for cocktail hour with a wrap around deck. The down stairs is large with beautiful chandeliers and rustic decor. The owners Katrina & Russell are available on site the day of. They will answer and questions throughout your wedding planning. Cabins are available to stay in afterwards. A fire pit is there to hang out & continue the celebrations. A yummy breakfast is delivered in the am if you spend the night in cabins. Every part of Wolf Oak Aces is wonderful. They is not any other place I’d rather celebrate my marriage than this place. I have nothing but praise for this place & the owners.

AMAZING Venue and Cabins
This is an amazing venue and everything was perfect! From the planning, to catering, to set up, Katrina and Russell are there every step of the way. We took a tour of the property after loving what we saw online. Seeing it in person, it was more amazing than I imagined it. The barn is stunning and the cabins are a perfect added touch. The owners always respond in a timely manner and are very friendly and professional!

Incredible venue!
When we were shopping for a venue we knew the style we wanted, so we decided to set up a tour. When we arrived for our tour Kartina greeted us like we were family, she spent 3 hours with us and showed us the entire property with all the different marriage sites and all the beautiful land. We knew when we left that was our venue. We booked right away and couldn’t have been more excited! Katrina was there for the entire planning process through emails nd text, and Russel was always avayfor questions as well! They really went above and beyond for us. The day of the wedding they helped us take care of everything from transporting guests to making sure everything was on schedule even helping us take our decorations back to the cabins we rented for the night. The cabins were also so convenient and beautiful! I would honestly recommend them and their venue to anyone looking for a beautiful barn wedding with beautiful scenery and wonderful outstanding owners! I can’t say enough positive things about Katrina and Russel and there hard work with this beautiful and amazing venue!!

Honestly, everything was perfect. Katrina was very helpful and quick to respond. Our wedding was itinerary wise very flexible and some thing we subjected to change (ie. Toasts, garder/flower toss, introductions ect.) Ben and I weren't sure how much we wanted to incorporate and how much we just wanted to mingle- and Katrina and Russell were flexible on that which made everything much easier on us. The venue was beautiful and had plenty of space for all our guests. The biggest most important thing to us was space and hook ups for our cater, which was Silo Food Truck. Wolf oak acres accommidations allowed an awesome set up for the truck and for guests to easily access them.

Best Day Ever!
Wolf Oak Acres was the best decision we made for our wedding, Getting married in October is risky and this venue was perfect for either an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Due to snow, the ceremony was inside and was absolutely beautiful. We were still able to get photos outside on their stunning land. The venue itself has a perfect set-up for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner/reception. We received so many compliments about our choice of venue. Katrina and Russ were great to work with. Communication prior to the wedding was always timely. Russ drove us throughout the property for our photos to stay warm. We also rented several cabins for the weekend which were clean, comfy, and very convenient. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants incredible scenery, beautiful rustic ceremonies/receptions, and awesome people to work with! Good not have asked for a better wedding day!

My wife and I had our wedding here this past May and it was amazing. Russel and Katrina are making improvement every year to the venue which just makes it that more customizable! I know some people get scared with a DIY wedding venue, however the venue offers tons of suggestions on how to do it best as well as a list of vendors from all different price ranges to help. They even have in house decorations to make it cheaper as well. Even the clean up was smooth, all you need to do is take out what you bring in otherwise they have cleaners that handle everything else. But all in all this venue is so unique and special you can not go wrong.

Russell and Katrina were absolutely wonderful during our entire wedding experience. From the first phone call I had with Katrina, she was beyond helpful and excited and supportive. I knew that these were the people I wanted to work with for my wedding. Not to mention the actual venue and grounds are gorgeous! Both Russell and Katrina were very responsive and attentive to our needs -very quick to respond to phone calls and emails. And for a bride that needed some help and guidance both for planning as well as on the big day, they were very gentle and respectful in their suggestions -trying to guide me, but ultimately leaving the final decision up to me. Russell and Katrina work very hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about our wedding at Wolf Oak Acres -we had so much fun and everything was perfect!

My son and his bride just had the most beautiful and magical wedding at Wolf Oak Acres on 7/14/18. Tanya Keller was their wedding coordinator and she also deserves 5 stars! We stayed in the cabins 2 nights and they were so comfortably air conditioned and perfect for all the grandparents, parents and wedding party. They chose to say their vows by the pond and it was spectacular. I highly reccomend this venue and Tanya Keller to any couple looking for a great venue that's located in a beautiful setting. I couldn’t have dream of such an amazing place to get married at. When I first saw the place I fell in love with it and I knew that no other place would come close to this. There is no bad spot on the property. My husband and I got married in front of the pond. I loved the fact that I was able to get married by water and not have to deal with sand ??. There is endless ideas and spots to do pictures. My husband and I loved working with Katrina and Russell. They were willing to help out in any way they could and answer any questions about the place or give you good ideas on vender to use. If you choose Wolf Oak Acres as your venue, you will not be disappointed.

I am going to be very honest. I was obsessed with this venue from the first time I saw it online. I loved all the pictures and loved that they had water onsite. After looking into the venue some more it was out of the price range I had in mind. I went to visit it anyway and Ms. Katrina's tour was so detailed and the venue was so beautiful we decided that we had to go for it. It was the single best decision we made. The fact that the indoor ceremony site was all set up until an hour before the outdoor wedding gave me such a piece of mind. The indoor ceremony space would have made a gorgeous wedding, but I got my dream of getting married by water (the pond on the property). When you book this venue you get so much more than the building. The owners were so amazingly helpful planning and leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, they were basically my wedding planners. I could not have asked for more helpful and attentive owners. They also have a bunch of decorations we were able to use to save some money. My husband and I stayed on site in the cottage the night after the wedding. It's so relaxing to know you are just going up the hill when you are exhausted after the big day! Katrina and Russell, Matt and I and our families cannot thank you enough!!!

Katrina and Russ were beyond outstanding! When I was looking at venues I had just gotten engaged and had to plan a hometown wedding from Tennessee. I was home for a week and had to get the major steps completed, so I was extremely overwhelmed. When I met Katrina and saw what she and her husband had to offer, I knew this was it; I cancelled all of my other visits and put a down payment on my date that day. Katrina knows everything there is to know about wedding planning and pulling everything together. She was unbelievably helpful throughout the planning process and on the day of, she and her husband were there every step of the way. The work they continue to put into their space is nothing short of magical as well! The upgrades they did between my initial visit and the day of were amazing! They never stop striving to make Wolf Oak Acres the best! I am beyond grateful for them and for allowing us to share the most magical day filled with so much love and joy with them. I do not wish for a second we could’ve gotten married anywhere else and encourage those looking for a venue to make Wolf Oak one of the first stops on your list! It is so much more than just a “barn wedding”!

This venue is nothing short of amazing! We held our wedding in the fall and the location of the venue provides so many beautiful fall colors as the backdrop and romantic atmosphere. There are many locations to hold your ceremony and give yourself flexibility if the weather doesn't cooperate. The interior is just as beautifully and the new cabins located on the property are a dream! The owners of the venue are extremely helpful and were even present on our wedding day to provide tips and assistance as I navigated through the process without a wedding planner. I received so many compliments from my wedding guests about the venue and they definitely could see why I chose to have the wedding here even though it was a drive for most. I only wish I had more needs for a large venue so I could host at this location!

I fell in love with Wolf Oak Acres the first moment I visited. It is truly the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. I knew this is where I wanted to get married. The owners were accommodating and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. They offered the use of their rustic decorations free of charge and recommended vendors in the local areas. The day of our wedding they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and details were in order. I would highly recommend this venue not only for the gorgeous barn and landscape, but because you would have a great team standing behind you along the way.

Can't say enough about Katrina and WOA. Just one small gesture that captures it all: as the mother of the bride, I was at the outdoor wedding site supervising and it was a very sunny hot day. I asked Katrina where back at the barn I could get a drink of water and she told me. I of course got sidetracked and never made it to the barn; next thing I knew there was Katrina handing me a cold bottle of water she'd taken the time (with all she had to do) to get for me. I was so grateful!

Email and ask as many questions as you like, they were great with a quick and helpful response. They also were great with suggestions for other vendors from food, cake, booze etc!! Both Katrina and her husband Russ were fantastic with day of planning and moving things along!!

Katrina and Russ at Wolf Oak Acres went above and beyond in every aspect to make our wedding spectacular. In addition to the breathtaking venue, they were there assisting every step of the way in any way they could. We also stayed in the cabins which were equally as beautiful. Breakfast was delivered to our door the following morning and was hot and delicious! They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend Wolf Oak Acres over and over again!

If you are in search of a beautiful picturesque barn wedding - look no further. The property is stunning with numerous options of an outside ceremony and the option of an incredible inside ceremony. This venue truly has it all. The owners are not only generous and accommodating - but they are armed with so much knowledge on how to help make your wedding exactly as you see it. My husband's family traveled from Long Island and New Jersey and have never been to a venue like this - but they were BLOWN AWAY by the beauty. Additionally, my college friends spent the evening at one of the cabins on the property and truly enjoyed their stay. You cannot go wrong choosing this as your wedding day venue!

Wolf Oak Acres was everything and more. It is simply beautiful. My husband and I got married at Wolf Oak in October 2016. We could not have asked for a better day. It was perfect. All of our guests raved how beautiful the venue was. Katrina and Russell put a lot into their venue and it shows. They were both very accommodating, a pleasure to work with and were always available to answer any questions that we had. Katrina is a wealth of knowledge. They have a lot of helpful information on their website, as well as interesting blog posts and fun decorating ideas on Facebook and Pinterest. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because we did not see this pride for a venue anywhere else and I've never seen anything like it. When you rent out this venue, you are the only wedding for the day and don't feel rushed out. We were also the first ones to stay onsite at the newly built cottages. They are absolutely gorgeous! I would definitely recommend staying there if you can. It put me at ease that I was already at the venue the morning of my wedding and didn't have to rush down to the main building to meet my vendors. Breakfast gets delivered straight to your door from Madison Bistro. The muffins and pastries we had were delicious! Russell also built a fire pit near the cottages. It was such a great way to unwind after our wedding day with friends and s'mores. I would definitely recommend this beautiful, rustic, one of a kind venue for your wedding or event.

Stick to Wolf Oak's recommended vendors as much as you can. Our day was amazing, but we had problems with our DJ along the way. We definitely wish we went with another company that was on the recommended list so the day could have been that much smoother. Also, we did use one of Wolf Oak's recommended vendors, A Mad Affair. They helped us with decorating the day of and clean up at the end of the night. If you can make room for this is your budget do it!! It made the day that much easier!

This venue is lovely, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. The owner is most accommodating and gives helpful advice. She answers emails promptly and is very friendly. The barn has air conditioning and is one of only a few in NY that do. There is an elevator inside which can be great if you have any guests with mobility issues. All in all I can't say enough good things! Our daughter's wedding was exactly what she dreamed about!

The place was wonderful. Katrina and her husband are the most helpful and devoted owners. They take the time for you and put their hearts into the place. I personally booked this venue overall because of the owners, the venue itself is completely breath taking but out of all the venues we originally looked at this exceeded our expectations by far! Katrina was SO helpful and FULL of information right for the get go, she immediately knew round about pricing and gave us so many ideas to make the best of our day and the most affordable costs, so we chose Wolf Oak Acres! Leading up to the even Katrina was there every step of the way assisting and giving advice and wonderful recommendations.
The day of went so smooth and I was completely blown away with how amazingly perfect it was. It was the best day of my life and I have to thank Wolf Oak Acres for making it as perfect as it was. I cannot imagine my day running as easy and stress free as it day had I not chosen this venue. I would recommend Wolf Oak Acres to anyone! Soo happy with the outcome of our wedding and I wish I could do it all over again!

Wolf Oak Acres is such an amazing venue!! Everything about the property is gorgeous.. we actually had a very very rainy wedding day-- our whole ceremony was planned to be outside by the creek which is such a pretty spot, but what can you do- we had to move everything inside and lucky for us the indoor ceremony spot is beautiful too! Katrina was so informative from the get go and throughout the entire planning process she offered a lot of information and was a great resource! Katrina and Russell were both SO helpful and accommodating throughout our entire day. They had very recently just started offering a shuttle service from the parking lot to the venue and since it was a very rainy day they offered it to us as a complimentary service.. which was super nice! and to top the whole day off- they even collected some of the rain water for us and put it in a cute little jar with a label that says "Rain Water collected on my Wedding Day" .. It was such a nice touch!! We definitely recommend Wolf Oak Acres!! It's gorgeous and Katrina and Russel are great!

This is a lovely, rustic venue with many places for beautiful photos! The owner, Katrina, is very helpful. She knows the right questions to ask to help you make the most of your special day. The barn was the only one my daughter looked at that had air conditioning, which was necessary for an August wedding. Katrina was present in the background all day, making sure we and our other vendors had everything we needed. The barn is equipped with an elevator, which is great if you have elderly guests. All in all it was a perfect place for my daughter's wedding!

This review is only for our tour/visit around the property. Our (finally booked!) wedding is not until 2017. We are in love with the venue but what really caused us to jump on a date and book was Katrina. If you are getting married in CNY and do not know Katrina, then you really need to make time to go see her and her venue. She is a book of knowledge of the wedding industry and she has worked with many vendors in the Syracuse, Rome, Utica areas. Not only can she give you many recommendations, but she also provides hints on how to spot hidden costs and how to read in between the lines of vendor contracts. She also preps you with questions to ask vendors that I had not even thought of. This was even after reading blog after blog of questions to ask etc. Not only are you getting someone that cares, but you are getting a beautiful venue with many great photo opportunities. You also have the ability to make it your own with your choice of caterer, no decoration restrictions, and more. We were blown away after our visit and we were lucky enough to snatch up one of her last Saturday's! If you are on the fence I recommend you visiting for the information she can provide alone. This Venue is breathtakingly beautiful! Katrina and her family are amazingly accommodating, helpful and professional! Katrina's super fast and detailed responses to my inquiries were crucial in helping me plan our wedding from 300 miles away. she has a solution for any concern and a handy list of vendors that she often works with, saving us a lot of time and effort searching for our own. We just had our wedding at Wolf Oak Acres last week and couln't be happier with our experience! The scenery is beautiful, and the locations for ceremony sites were so gorgeous that we couldn't decide where to do it up until the last minute (we went with the pond because it such a unique site!). Katrina is very easy to work with and responds almost instantly to any questions we had. Having the specific type of food and alcohol we liked was really important to us. We got to pick the caterer we loved! And also a big plus was the BYO aspect, which, due to state restrictions and through no fault of the venue, has changed a bit. But I think it is still very flexible and economical. We also were looking for a venue that would allow us to decorate and make the reception hall just the way we wanted. Overall, a perfect venue for a perfect day!!

Wolf Oak Acres was hands-down the perfect place to get married, and I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else. From day one, Katrina was extremely helpful with every question, major and minor, that I had, and answered every e-mail I sent her in less than 24 hours. She had endless suggestions for vendors and decor, but was never overbearing with her advice. It was always clear that she just wanted to help in any way she could, and simply wanted us to have the best wedding experience we could have. The venue itself is amazing - because our wedding was in November, we had both the ceremony and reception indoors, but that did not detract from the ambiance at all. All of our guests kept telling us how beautiful the barn was. It's a perfect balance of rustic with modern conveniences (heat/AC, great bathrooms, etc)! The day of our wedding both Katrina and Russell were on hand at different points throughout the day to help with anything we needed and to ensure that things ran smoothly, and they were both wonderful! I would recommend Wolf Oak to anyone looking for a barn wedding venue!

Everything about this venue surpassed my expectations! The owner was more than accommodating and professional when it came to meeting with us and allowing us to access the venue whenever we had wanted to. I even booked many other venders based on their opinions and I was MORE than happy with the venders that I used as well. I highly recommend this venue for anyone! It's gorgeous!!

Katrina the owner of Wolf Oak Acres is so AMAZING!!!!! The venue is so gorgeous! They have many photo props on site, everything she has in storage is yours to use ! When I was looking for a barn, I didn't think one existed until i stumbled upon Wolf Oak Acres. I fell in the love with it as soon as we pulled up. When I walked in I could picture my entire wedding. The owner was very helpful with everything that has to do with weddings. She knows tons of vendors and knows the area very well. Many vendors we spoke with mentioned the same thing, so I knew we picked the perfect place. Hands down the best barn in upstate NY.

My husband and I got married at Wolf Oak Acres on October 3 and we literally had the best day ever! Though it was not a bright, sunny day, the rain held off and the views from the barn were breath taking! We had many out of town guests who travelled to spend our day with us and they were so impressed by the beauty of the venue!! Katrina and Russ were wonderful, answering allllll of my questions from beginning of planning to the day of and even after the wedding was over!! They made sure everything was the way I wanted it and were so accommodating! They are a wonderful couple with an even more wonderful wedding venue! I wasn't the bride that knew what I wanted or had put much thought into my wedding day. So I really was starting with nothing. Finding wolf oak acres was the best thing that could of happened to me. Katrina was so helpful throughout the whole process. She gave me the best advise and directed me In the direction I needed to be. Anything I needed she had the answer to. I couldn't of done it without her. When my wedding day came we got the pleasure to work with her husband Russel. Whatever we needed he provided. I'm so lucky to say I've had the pleasure to work with this amazing couple! I recommend Wolf Oak Acres to all brides. The venue is beautiful inside and out! From the minute we went for a visit to this beatiful venue to the day of our wedding, Katrina was so helpful and so knowledgeable about anything related to planning a wedding. Not only is this venue absolutely breathtaking, but the owners take pride in what they do and they go out of their way to make sure your day is everything you could possibly dream of. Any time I had a question or concern, Katrina always answered me quickly and always put my mind at ease. My husband and I first saw Wolf Oak Acres while it was still under construction during their remodel. They were doing their first wedding in a month and some of the internal walls were just going up. Katrina walked us through and explained their vision for the property. Katrina and Russel were so helpful and confident that we took a leap of faith and booked the facility before we saw the finished product and before they even hosted any weddings. When our wedding came around we couldn't have been any more happy with the entire day! Come our wedding day it was even more beautiful and well put together than we could have imagined. Leading up to our wedding we had contact and several visits with Katrina and Russell. Each time we spoke with them they reassured us and followed through! They were there every step of the way when we needed them to be, but we not overbearing at all. The Blanchard's have thought of every possible detail and functionality of every space in that venue. They were right there on our wedding day to help everything run smoothly. We had our dream wedding at WOA and our families still haven't stopped talking about it!

I just had my wedding here last Sunday. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. I've been to other venues around syracuse but none have such beauty. If you are looking for rustic elegance, look no further- this is your place. Also, the owners went above and beyond to help me. Half of the catering staff that I hired (and had spoken to just a few days before!) Didn't show up. I started to cry just before the announcements. But the owner, Katrina, just patted me on the back and said "it will be alright don't worry" and started helping my friends clean up from the ceremony and cocktail hour. Katrina went above and beyond and helped so much. I think it's because it is a family owned business and they are a family who truly cares about people and not just money.

Katrina was a great help from start to finish. We fell in love with the rustic barn feel but loved that Wolf Oak Acres had some updated charm as well, especially the air conditioning (it was 90 degrees on our wedding day!) She was very quick to respond to emails when I had questions or concerns, and helped everything run smoothly the day of. My only word of caution to brides is that this is a DIY venue, so make sure you have friends or family willing to help set up (ie. ceremony chairs, tables, centerpieces, etc.) or I would recommend hiring someone to help you with all of that. Our wedding day there was absolutely wonderful and we received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was. The property has a lot of great places for pictures and we didn't even have to venture off the property for other pictures and our wedding day photos turned out stunning. So, we got married!! And it was perfect! The venue was gorgeous and many of our guests complimented on the beauty that this venue provided. The Blanchard's are wonderful people to work with and they are not only accommodating, but they are understanding as some of the guests forgot their "housekeeping etiquette" at home. It was the perfect day surrounded by the perfect atmosphere. Words cannot express how wonderful this place is. You have to experience it yourself!! And we HIGHLY recommend that you do!!

We loved having our wedding at wolf oak acres. Katrina was more than helpful in getting the place set up and in order.
When we booked - we booked nearly site unseen, so we got a great deal on the venue. However some of the ideas that Katrina had never materialized, or were altered during the building. While this did cause us to alter the "grand wedding plans", it wasn't a big deal and the day was fantastic!

This venue was our dream come true! The entire venue is completely breathtaking! We had so many options for where to hold our ceremony and we ended up selecting the new pond location. Our pictures came out stunning with the beautiful trees and hills in the background. The couple who owns the venue are so caring and knowledgeable in all things wedding. As an out of town bride, this was extremely helpful! We found half of our wedding vendors thanks to Katrina! On the day of our wedding, the venue was decorated beautifully and Katrina and her husband were on site for any questions or last minute details. It was so comforting knowing that Katrina was there for us during our entire wedding process. Do not hesitate to have your wedding here, you will not regret it! Literally all of our guests were commenting on how beautiful the venue was and wondering how we found such a perfect location! Do not pass up this venue!

Amazing! Katrina Blanchard made our dream wedding come true! I received so many comments on how gorgeous the property was at Wolf Oak Acres. Katrina was so helpful and generous and very flexible with times and set ups. If you are looking for a rustic venue this is the place to go!! So Beautiful!!!

I could not think of a better venue to work with. The couple that owns the property is so caring and organized. They were extremely knowledgeable and truly care about their community and local businesses. Most of the work and materials they were purchasing locally which I thought was amazing. Katrina, who owns the venue, really took the time to go through the venue step and by and show me numerous options available for my ceremony and reception. She was so easy going and you could tell she really just wanted to make sure her client had exactly what they wanted and were happy.
The fact that she has a number of preferred vendors really helped me narrow down the companies I wanted involved with my special day. I had the chance to meet most of them at the bridal expo that the venue recently put on and all vendors were extremely nice and seemed like they would be wonderful to work with. She has a very wide variety of vendors to fit almost any budget no matter how big or small it may be.
This venue is a one of a kind here in central New York. It has much to offer and it is just an added bonus that it is all in one place. I would recommend this venue to anyone! It is absolutely amazing and the views will take your breath away!

When I say Lauren knows what she’s doing, I not only mean with weddings I mean with life. I wanna be her when I grow up. She knew just what I wanted, but gave me the options anyway. She helped me with ceremony specifics (because let’s be honest I didn’t know what I was doing- I’ve never been married before) but still let us do everything we wanted to. She always had a smile on her face even when the problems arose. That really keeps a bride calm I’ll tell you that much. I didn’t worry about a thing. And her assistant Bailey, fn rockstar. Thank you ladies (beautiful bartenders included) for such an incredible, smooth wedding. I will forever cherish my wedding day with all thanks to you guys. Wolf Oak Acres, I was very nervous going in but you calmed my nerves like never before. 12/10 highly recommend.

Katrina and Russ have a truly stunning piece of property and I could not have imagined my wedding day anywhere else! I had always envisioned a back yard wedding but was unable to fit 180+ people in my childhood back yard! They were very flexible in terms of hiring our own vendors to make our day truly our own. Katrina was very quick to respond to any and all questions related to our big day (and weddings in general) and both her and Russ were amazing in guiding us towards vendors that fit our budget and style. Russ was such a key player on our wedding day and worked seamlessly with our day of coordinator to make our day move as smooth as possible. We also rented all of the cabins they offer on site for our immediate family and bridal party the night before and the night of the wedding- our guests loved it so much! And it certainly helped in not having to worry about transportation prior to the wedding!

When we did a tour of the grounds and facility, we absolutely fell in love! As such, we booked our wedding and had it there in October of last year. Everything was truly amazing from our ceremony and cocktail hour upstairs to our receptiondownstairs! Given it's a total DIY, Katrina and Russ were very flexible throughout the planning process. Also, Katrina is very responsive, not only providing answers to your questions, but giving you additional "advice" to think about as you are planning your big day! The only thing that took place that was not planned was day of, the lights over the dance floor kept flickering. Once I brought it to Katrina's attention, it was immediately fixed. Great venue, beautiful grounds and really great people to work with!

Love this venue! So versatile and a really gorgeous Template to work with! I love that there are so many options to have your ceremony, photo ops, and a great space for reception. I had around 130 in attendance and am glad we did not have anymore. Though you can fit up to 240, I would not consider this for more than 150/175(comfortably) which is SO important for both you and your guests.
Keep in mind that since the venue is in the country and next to woods, you will probably have some flies. I only warn because when there are bigger weddings(which happened the night before) people tend to open the doors because of the heat) which is frustrating to the owner who tries to keep flies to a minimum. Bring a couple fly swats just in case. We were able to kill most of them and didn't notice a thing during the reception.
Love that the venue has AC.
Overall, could not have asked for a better wedding experience! Everything came together beautifully at Wolf Oak Acres!

Unique and classic venue with the perfectly placed rustic touches. Perfect for a wedding during any season even winter! We are very much looking forward to hosting out small wedding there! Even though they can accommodate up to 250 people they are doing a beautiful job with our intimate wedding of only 40 people!

Wedding- reception and ceremony
Venue was beautiful and perfect in every way. The staff was very helpful when getting set up. I do feel as though the ball was dropped in terms of the cabins. We had multiple people rent out cabins and no one received their “2 weeks out” info until we had reached out to them asking for more information. The day of no one received cabin numbers or information in regards to staying there. The night before the wedding it hit 6pm and I finally had to call to see where we were staying or if it was even ready. Some of the complimentary products (tooth paste) had already been opened and used. There is also no key given with the cabins so if there are other people staying on the premises you are not able to lock the door and keep your stuff safe. On the first day no breakfast was received but we talked to Lauren about it and she made it right and went and got us breakfast and then made sure we got food the next morning. Overall would recommend the venue for the wedding and reception but probably wouldn’t stay on premises again.

Great venue. Helpful Staff
We chose Wolf Oak Acres because the venue was beautiful and they included a lot of amenities within their pricing. They were flexible and accommodating with us as we planned our wedding, for the most part, over the phone from VA. They were also welcoming of family that was in NY going there and talking with them as well throughout the process. Their staff are patient, accommodating and communicate in a timely manner. The day of the event went smoothly and they helped us wherever needed so that we didn't have to worry. We HIGHLY recommend them and this venue if you're thinking about an upstate NY wedding.

If using this location, I recommend having a coordinator that will set up your chairs and linens (if not provided by caterer). We had to set up our own chairs by the pond and put our own linens that we rented on the tables the morning of the wedding. Then they had my groomsmen take down and load chairs into trailer. I understand it is a DIY venue but I think they should be more courteous and provide that service especially for the price.

This is a great vendor if you know how to do a DIY wedding. It will take a lot of work on your part, but the place is beautiful and you will make up the money in other areas. It can be complicated at times, but they are overall very helpful there with questions.
