  Would work with again!

  I am a vendor who worked with Megan on two projects this year. I am a wedding painter and painted a custom oil painting from a photo for a client of hers, and I also painted live at the wedding of one of Megan's clients. Megan and her team are fantastic to work with. Megan is on point with communication, and she will run a smooth event for you, and will help bring in some great vendors. I would absolutely work with her again!

  Above and Beyond Service

  I am so grateful that we were able to work with Anne. She was so fun and upbeat the day we met and patiently answered what seemed like 100 questions with ease. She made it so easy to decide on the venue. She really went above and beyond our expectations especially when Covid-19 threatened our big day. She remained positive and supportive throughout the whole process. Anne checked in on us during the months/weeks leading up to the big day to make sure we had all our bases covered. When our original photographer cancelled three weeks before, Anne and Megan jumped into action and took the time to call other photographers to see who could step in last minute. It really blew us away and took a huge weight off our shoulders to know that they had our back. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and was absolutely perfect because of Anne and Megan. You will not find a more caring, supportive planner than Anne. Thank you for everything Anne, you are the best!

  We couldn’t have asked for a better day

  Thank you for coming in last minute to save the day. Korissa and I really appreciate all of your hard work and staying late even though you were not scheduled ahead of time.   Unforgettable

  We were married on July 11th and had an unforgettable day. Anne & Meg went above and beyond to make sure every detail was done. We’re still getting compliments on our decor. They took our ideas and enhanced it times a 100. We were just thrilled with how everything turned out. Sean and I thank you ladies for making our day so amazing! If you’re thinking about hiring a planner, these ladies are great and they were affordable

  Did not plan a thing

  Roughly 9 months prior to our wedding, my husband lost four family members including his mother. Obviously, this put a massive stress on our wedding planning, and we lost a lot of time. As the day drew near, we found ourselves looking for help to ensure our day went off exactly how we wanted it to. We ended up reaching out to With Love Event Planning to help with the remainder of our planning.
  
  As we had already done some of the work, With Love Event Planning offered to partially plan our day at a reduced cost of around $1,565. They were aware that they would not be our day-of-coordinator as we already had one booked.
  
  Initially, Anne let us know that she could be of great service to us and could help with a lot of the details we had left to plan. We let her know what we had left to do, and she told us she understood our vision and would work on finding a few vendors. We left our first meeting with her feeling confident that this would be the key to us having our perfect day.
  
  We booked another meeting with her for a few weeks later and by the time we got to that meeting, she had sent us two vendors, both which did not match the vision we were looking for. We let her know and she said she would continue to search. In the time span after that, we ended up finding the vendors ourselves.
  
  All in all, we had three meetings with her, scheduled for 30 minutes or 1 hour each. During each of these meetings, Anne reviewed the checklist that we had prepared for our wedding and basically just told us that we were on track. We still completed 100% of the work ourselves and ended up feeling like she hadn’t done any work for us.
  
  The week of our wedding came and went, and we never heard a word from her. She did not reach out beforehand to see if we needed anything or ask how everything was going. The last time we heard from With Love Event Planning was in early August 2023, and our wedding was in mid-September.
  
  Unfortunately, this felt like a big waste of $1500. If Anne really felt like we were doing great and were far enough in the planning, it was not fair for her to take our money when we were stressed with not only planning a wedding but dealing with the loss of multiple family members.

  Do Not Hire

  If I could give With Love Event Planning negative stars, I would. While our wedding day should have been perfect, it was marred by the incompetence and unprofessionalism of With Love Event Planning. What could have been a beautiful celebration was overshadowed by their complete disregard for responsibilities.
  
  Our initial meeting with Anne gave us confidence, but once the contract was signed, we were assigned Megan as our lead planner, and things went downhill.
  
  We paid $750 for vendor assistance to help book our remaining vendors as we already had some vendors booked, which turned out to be a waste. Aside from minor help with desserts, my wife and I had to handle flowers, rentals, and transportation ourselves with little input from Megan. Her communication was terrible; emails went unanswered for days, and we constantly had to chase her down for updates. We even had to remind her to schedule the final walkthrough.
  
  During the walkthrough, Megan was clearly unprepared. Instead of offering guidance, we received vague responses that did nothing to help us plan. In the week before our wedding, Megan took five days to respond to our emails when quick communication was crucial. We ended up compiling the day-of timeline ourselves, another task that should have been hers. Adding insult to injury, she asked us to add vendors to the catering count less than a week before the wedding, despite knowing the final count was due weeks earlier.
  
  By our wedding day, we had lost faith in her abilities and even warned our bridal party that we might need their help because of how poorly Megan had handled things. Unfortunately, our concerns were well-founded.
  
  The day of our wedding was a coordination disaster. Neither Megan nor her assistant introduced themselves to our bridal party, parents, or vendors, leaving everyone confused. When our bridal party finally identified Megan, we found her and her assistant sitting on their phones instead of working. We didn't pay over $2,300 for them to be idle.
  
  Megan's negligence led to several mistakes, the worst being the chair setup. Despite our clear instructions, the rental company set up chairs inside instead of outside while Megan stood by. Instead of fixing the issue, she called me—the groom—on our wedding day to approve additional charges due to their mistake. When I arrived back at the venue, I received no apology or offer to help fix the mistake, and my best man and I ended up helping the rental company move the chairs so they could get to their next job on time.
  
  Their lack of professionalism didn't stop there. Throughout the day, they repeatedly contacted me for instructions, ignoring the designated point of contact. At one point, both the planner and her assistant left the venue for over an hour to buy table clips—a task one person could have handled—leaving our family and friends to cover for them. Anne had boasted about having two coordinators, yet they were ineffective.
  
  The attention to detail was non-existent. When a vase was knocked over, spilling water, they promised to handle it but did nothing, leaving my family to clean up. Our bridesmaids and attendants had to take over most of the setup while the planners ran their errand.
  
  Even the DJ and photographers had to step in where the planners failed, guiding guests and keeping the event on track. The photographers were the ones checking in on us throughout the day to see if we needed anything. The planners? Nowhere to be seen. It was embarrassing and infuriating to see the people we hired completely neglect their duties.
  
  This company failed on every level. They did not fulfill even the most basic of their responsibilities, leaving us and our loved ones to pick up the pieces. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for our wedding day was shocking. We deeply regret choosing With Love Event Planning and would never recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the frustration, heartache, and money—hire a company that actually cares about your wedding day.
