Personal & Professional - Best of the Best!

Cristina was the photographer for my brother's wedding in 2009, and thankfully was available for my COVID wedding last year! So even though I already had the honor of knowing her, and her fabulous work, she made the process of engagement, bridal, and wedding day photos an absolute dream. All that, while also managing the quick changes we had to make to postpone & reschedule our pandemic wedding! She captured everything about our day just perfectly for us, which I am still SO thankful for.
Some of the things that, in my opinion, set Cristina apart from other photographers:
1) She KNOWS this business! Both by way of familiarity with other vendors (both in the Dallas area and elsewhere - she referred me to my wedding planner in the Austin area), and how to prioritize & handle big groups of people on wedding day. I've been to many weddings where the photographer is either too laid back (missing out on group or family photos because they've run out of time) or too militant (to the point of being rude to not get behind schedule). Cristina manages a tight timeline with absolute finesse, and knows how to keep everyone relaxed & happy!
2) She and her team capture the magic of a wedding ceremony from the exact right distance, so as to not distract your guests. This is something that I started noticing at other weddings a few years ago... Photographers want to get a good close up of a ring exchange or bride & groom's first kiss, and will walk up the aisle or be at the altar (or stand up on a chair off to the side, walk across the front of the congregation, etc.) to capture it. As a guest, that makes me crazy! In my opinion, this is an aspect of professionalism and etiquette that Cristina & her team have absolutely mastered.
3) Cristina will work with you for what YOU need! A few weeks after my wedding, I discovered I was expecting my first child. I told her that I wanted to reveal that news to my parents & in-laws by way of our wedding photos, and she QUICKLY threw together a little slide show for us to share. AND she was just as excited as we were to be able to share the news! She definitely thrives on the personal connection this service provides, and it shows.
I could go on and on about how wonderful she is, because it's easy to (because she is!), but the best summary of Cristina & her work is this: Personal, professional service with beautiful photos to memorialize any event she shoots. She has been such a blessing to my family and me!

Cristina is truly the BEST!

We loved having Cristina & Wisner Photo as our photographer for my bridals and our wedding day! She was the first photographer I met at a bridal show, and I just knew she had to be someone we captured our beautiful memories with. Her ability to bring out the beauty and joy of our wedding, even during a pandemic, was just amazing. We loved her attention to detail, and we appreciated her ability to bring out the best in us, on camera and off camera as well! She is so funny and just a joy to have around!!! My bridal photos showed she knew exactly what I was looking for when we discussed my vision for the different poses and environments I wanted. On our wedding day, she knew exactly how to piece everything together, and our photos truly told the story of our beautiful day. By the end of the night, it felt as though she was a part of our family!!! I am so grateful for Cristina’s gift in photography. Her images will live in our homes, lives, and family’s history forever. Thank you Cristina!

Grateful for Cristina Wisner

There are not enough words to express my overwhelming gratitude for Cristina Wisner. From the moment I met her, she felt like family! She was tremendously kind, encouraging, and gracious as we started planning our wedding and then as we navigated the COVID-19 pandemic. She never pressured us, offered solutions, and in the end, gave her ALL the day of the wedding. She was prepared, accommodating, flexible, and joy-filled...all the things you want when working with someone on your wedding day. And I have to say, her sweet spirit is only matched by her incredible talent! The photos are stunning. We will cherish them for a lifetime. I can't recommend Cristina enough. I can't wait to work with her in the future for more family milestones.

Instant connection

Cristina made it so easy to open up and talk to her about my vision. We had an instant connection and common thought as to what I wanted. She asked me questions and when she told me she had an idea for places to do engagement and bridal, they were everything I was dreaming of and more. Highly recommend going and hiring her, you will not regret it!

She is the best thing that will ever happen to your wedding/life!!! I fell for her pictures when I started researching photographers. Once I saw my engagements photos, I was over the moon. She makes you look like a model. Idk how she does it, but she's a photography God. I've received countless compliments from even other photographers blown away by her work.
Don't even get me started on my wedding photos... the lady knocked it out of the park. I'm talking Pinterest/ magazine worthy. I was blown away.

Do yourself a favor, HIRE HER NOW!! She is worth every penny AND then some.
She is hands down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

Cristina is so great and easy to work with. I booked her because I was a bridesmaid in a wedding she had previously photographed and the pictures were amazing. She even helped me find an amazing videographer in our budget. Would absolutely recommend her!

Christina was absolutely wonderful!! I purchased the pkg with engagement session, bridal portraits (large portrait picture included to display at reception), and ceremony/reception pictures for 8 hours. Christina has such a great personality - makes you feel at ease, funny, and has a truly kind heart. From our first meeting, I felt like I could really check photography off my list as she had it all taken care of.
The engagement photos turned out so well. We did our shoot at the old Grapevine train area, at a little garden area, and finally in front of Starbucks (my fiance and I work a lot with our computers there so it was significant to us). She had really great ideas regarding where to shoot at each location. She has such a good eye! And it felt so natural taking the pics. We would pose and she would give direction where needed. But she would make us a laugh just talking in between pics and those were actually some of the best pics that she captured. I've gotten so many compliments on our engagement shoot! I was really happy with the experience. I did my bridal shoot later on at the Belo Mansion where our reception would be. She pointed out spots that she thought would really capture the light and be cool backgrounds. I had so many great pics to choose from! She made sure that my portrait was done in plenty of time to have at my reception. Just as before she was really easy to work with and would let my mom and MOH know when my dress should be repositioned to look best. She got a lot of little detail shots which I also love.
Finally, my wedding day... she and her partner took pics over the course of 8 hours. She got all of the big events and a lot of the little details that I had put together which is nice to see since the day goes so fast. Most of the time I didn't even notice she was there. There were lots of candid/natural shots along with the posed family pics. She is worth every penny! Photos last forever! Christina is awesome!

Cristina is AMAZING!!! Cristina did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and my bridal portraits. We received so many compliments on the creativity and quality of all of our photos. Cristina is so incredibly kind and professional. She is very responsive to phone calls and emails. After our November wedding, I wanted to get prints of some of our photos for Christmas presents and Cristina immediately put all of my photos on a flash drive and offered to meet me so I could pick it up. Everyone in our wedding party raved about how nice she is and that she was a pleasure to work with. On top of all of that, Cristina's pricing is extremely fair and competitive. I told her whenever we have kids I will definitely be calling her to take our family photos! You absolutely cannot go wrong if you choose Cristina as your photographer!

Cristina was hands down the BEST photographer to capture our destination wedding in Mexico. I've seen Cristina work her magic at several weddings I've attended over the years and always had her website saved in hopes of working with her in the future. Needless to say, we were so incredibly lucky that she was willing to squeeze us into her busy schedule and travel with us and 30 of our closest friends and family (what we like to call "framily") for our wedding weekend in Mexico. Yes, we initially hired her as our photographer but after our engagement session, she quickly became a part of our framily! She made my husband and I feel so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera lens- even when we were worried that our awkwardness would shine through :) Cristina's passion for photography resonates through her artistic and creative photos. For us, she was able to capture all the beautiful details from our wedding, the emotions experienced that day, and the overall excitement of finally marrying my best friend of 10 years... and even an exciting day after photo shoot! She is also a pro at crisis management on the day of the wedding so you kind of get a two-for-one deal lol! I can go on and on about how great she is but really, her photos speak for themselves. What I can say is that she is an extremely genuine and kind loving person that instantly makes you feel like you're spending time with an old friend. Her enthusiasm is utterly contagious and I can definitely see why her clients keep coming back! I know I will :)

After we decided on the date and the venue, we started looking for a photographer. Trying to find an amazing photographer in DFW is overwhelming as there are so many. I found Cristina's website, and immediately recognized her work because she shot a friend of mine's wedding! I called her, and we met with her a few days later at her studio. We were both so impressed with how approachable and professional she is, and we knew she was the one we wanted to work with. We didn't meet with anyone else, and booked her the same day.
Cristina has a beautiful eye for photography and can make even the most ordinary backdrops beautiful and artistic. She put us at ease while we were shooting, and quickly became someone we both consider a friend. She is easy going and flexible and she can work around almost any schedule. She puts her heart into her work, and you can honestly tell she absolutely loves what she does. Her main focus is capturing special and candid moments, and ensuring that her clients get beautiful photographs that they will look back on forever. She offers creative ideas and suggestions, but also seriously takes into consideration what her clients want.
We could not be more pleased with her service! It poured down rain on our wedding day, and she turned what could have been a crummy day for shooting into beautiful and striking photographs. We love you, Cristina! Thank you so, so much!

I can not say enough about how wonderful Cristina is. I did a lot of research on photographers for our special day because pictures are the most important part (besides the groom of course). I came across Cristina and knew we had to meet her. When it came to our engagement pictures we did not have the best of luck. The weather would not cooperate with us, but Cristina was extremely flexible and they turned out amazing! She went above and beyond to make our engagement pictures, bridals and the Wedding pictures truly amazing. Cristina is incredibly sweet and she has a very calming presence that really came in handy for the big day. She is beyond talented and you would be crazy to not choose her to photograph your big day!

If I could give Cristina 10 stars I would. Cristina was the wedding photographer for my husband's best friend's wedding and the minute I saw their photos, I e-mailed Cristina, asked if she was available, and never looked back. Before I had the venue, wedding planner, dress, or barely even the ring on my finger, I knew I wanted Cristina to be our photographer.

Cristina makes you feel comfortable from the very moment that you are around her and she will go to whatever lengths it takes to get an awesome shot. Her photographs speak for themselves and are like artwork. I continually heard comments about my photos, and not just "oh you guys look great" but always , "wow that shot is amazing".

After going through two engagements sessions and a wedding with Cristina - I'm hooked. She will be photographing every major milestone in our lives from here on out.

If you want wedding photographs that look like they belong in a magazine and perfectly captures how happy and in love you were on your big day, go with Cristina. You will never regret it.

Cristina was an absolute joy to work with. Coming from someone who is not a huge fan of being photographed in general, I felt at ease in front of Cristina's lens. She knew how to perfectly guide us through our engagement photos and on our wedding day. On top of how easy it is to work with Cristina, she is an amazing photographer. Her creativity shines in our photos in addition to the more traditional shots that we wanted. If I could add a bonus star to this review, I would. She's just that good! Thanks again, Cristina!

Wisner Photo is amazing! We spent months searching and interviewing several photographers before we found Wisner Photo--choosing a photographer was my most important decision in planning my wedding after choosing the location. And Cristina Wisner was the absolute best choice! She's brilliant and incredibly skilled and polished at what she does. She creates and captures romantic moments and gallery-worthy photos. She captured the most magical and amazing moments from our wedding. We also love Cristina as a person, and so do our family and friends. She put everyone at ease, and I had a great time with her--she had us laughing a lot! We had a destination wedding on the beach in the Dominican Republic, and our friends and family think our photos came straight from a magazine photo shoot! She's passionate about her profession and she's passionate about people. I almost cried out of pure joy after looking at our finished photos--her photos helped me relive our amazing wedding week. She was an essential part of our wedding--I would not have chosen anyone else.

I am so happy with this photographer. Christina Wisner did a fabulous job capturing the complete wedding experience! We had a destination wedding in Sonoma, and every time I look at the pictures I am taken right back there. She really understood the overall look I wanted in my pictures, and captured everything perfectly! She does a great job of getting to know the brides and genuinely cares about capturing the perfect day! Can't recommend her enough!

Cristina was amazing! She's so chill and confident in her abilities that it just puts you at ease. You see the photographer so much on the day of and it's extremely important to find someone that you can get along with. After looking through her photos and talking to her, we knew she was the right fit for us. Her pictures are amazing and I'm so happy with how ours turned out. Check out her photo blog (you'll totally get addicted!) and you can see what I mean. Not only did she do my wedding, but tons of my friends have worked with her as well and we ALL have had great experiences!

I wanted a destination wedding and was not able to have Cristina take our wedding pictures, but when I met Cristina at a Dallas bridal show, I knew I had found my photographer to handle my engagement pictures. Not only was her portfolio better than all the others, she was genuinely nice and very easy to talk to. When the day came for us to shoot our engagement pictures I was extremely nervous to get in front of the camera. Cristina noticed my nerves and after about five minutes she was able to make me feel comfortable and have fun with the session. Initially, my fiancé dreaded the photo shoot, but after we finished he said he had fun and wouldn’t have minded if it even lasted longer. I've been told on numerous occasions that my engagements pictures are the best people have ever seen, and that they are so unique and different from the typical engagement picture. The best part about Cristina is that you can tell she truly loves her job and can feel her positive energy, as she gets so excited during the photo shoot (which makes the photo shoot so fun)! I loved my pictures so much that I had Cristina take my bridal pictures as well. Which hey turned out amazing! I can’t wait until I have a baby so I can have another session with Cristina. I just love her!

cristina, cristina, cristina. this girl? she's a genius.

she was the creative eye behind our mutual friends' wedding, and the reason for their gorgeous, vibrant wedding photography. immediately, i recognized that her artistry and talent would be the perfect match for my wedding if i ever found "the one."

and, as life would have it, i did find "the one" --- he swooped me off of my feet and two years later we were headed down the aisle. naturally, we enlisted and entrusted cristina with our wedding... and boy, oh boy, we could not be happier!

i could not recommend her enough! she is creative, flexible, generous, passionate, and extraordinarily talented. when things got crazy and our wedding relocated from louisiana back to texas, she took it in stride and with such grace and positivity... who knew someone could be so excited about traveling to houston?! she went above and beyond to provide for our wedding; i will forever be grateful that she was apart of of our special day. the quality of the pictures is phenomenal --- seriously, they're gorgeous, magazine/blog/publication-ready, y'all --- you will be stunned!

to me, she is the epitome of an artist, but more importantly, she is a wonderful friend and the best decision you could make for your wedding... besides, of course, marrying the love of your life.

It doesn't get better than Cristina.

By far, the best part of my wedding was working with such an amazing talent and person. Good photographers are easy to find and can at times be overwhelming to choose in the DFW area. Cristina's work speaks for itself, but her personality and the "old friend" feeling you get with her makes you comfortable and YOURSELF in front of the camera - giving you the best possible pictures.

Book Cristina and you're not only getting the talent, but the friendship that comes with it.

Cristina of Wisner Photography is truly amazing. Not only is she a brilliant photographer, she is an amazing person. When I "interviewed" her during my search for a wedding photographer, we instantly clicked. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and she was a hoot to work with. I am forever grateful to my coworker who recommended Wisner Photo to me. From the moment I met Cristina Wisner, I felt comfortable, and every shoot was so much fun! Wisner Photo shot my engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures, and having these images is like an invaluable gift. Everything was so easy and so well organized.
We opted out of having a videographer for our wedding, and I was never sorry about that decision because Wisner Photo truly created a movie of my wedding day through photographs. Cristina Wisner is so much more than a photographer. She is truly an artist. My sister and brother were blessed to have Cristina Wisner involved in their bridal and wedding pictures, and while there are many great photographers out there, no one seems to match Cristina's talent.

Wisner Photography was amazing! We knew Cristina was the one to workbwith just minutes after meeting her. Even my husband, who takes FOReVER to make andecision, instantly agreed that we'd be missing out on excellent work if we didn't book her right away. We've loved every picture, website and album. From the moment Judy and I met Cristina we knew that we wanted her to be our photographer! Not only were we blown away by her talent and creativity, but also by her warmth and professionalism. Cristina and her staff were very accomodating and helpful on our wedding day as well, just a joy to work with! Cristina is amazing! Her quality of work is absolutely creative and beautiful. She does the traditional must-haves and then goes above and beyond with incredible candid shots. She always seem to know exactly how she wants the shot to look - not just shooting randomly.

She is worth every penny! You can view her blog to see a sample of her work. If you do, keep an eye for how she really captures the emotions of the event. I'm so glad that I have these beautiful pictures to remember such a happy day.

Her and her staff are all there for you before, during, and after the event. Now I need to find a new reason/event for pictures.

Cristina was our favorite wedding vendor. During the very stressful wedding planning process, she was the easiest decision to make and we never stressed about her. Through all our wedding snags, our prevailing thought was "at least we know we'll have good pictures." That was true, and we absolutely LOVE our pictures. Her work speaks for itself so I don't need to tell you how absolutely amazing she is. And she is. The first time I showed my husband her website, he loved her work too and from then on, for every other photography website I showed him his response was "eh." Not only is her work great, Cristina is so friendly and easy to talk to....she makes you feel very comfortable. She's also very professional and organized. We asked Cristina if we could take pictures after our morning wedding instead of taking them all between the ceremony and reception, and she very enthusiastically agreed. After the wedding, she had locations picked out and everything planned. She even brought props! She was just as excited as we were, and it was so much fun! Plus, we got tons of great pictures of just us without the stress of having to rush to get to the reception. Her assistants are also fantastic and they make a great and efficient team. Cristina was the best decision we made for our wedding (besides each other of course), and I really can't recommend her enough!

Cristina and her team are the best at what they do. This was the easiest decision to make for my wedding...she was the only photographer I interviewed and I just knew she was the one. I was continuously blown away by their attention to detail, exceptional ability to capture the emotion in every moment and their commitment to go above and beyond in order to get the perfect shot! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a creative, artistic, fun and truly amazing photography team!

Absolutely loved Cristina! Our engagement photos and wedding photos were nothing short of amazing! Cristina was awesome to work with - so sweet, but got all of the pictures that we wanted and needed. Can't recommend her highly enough. She's got a great eye and talent for unique and wonderful shots.

We loved Cristina. From the moment we met her we knew she was going to do a great job. When someone loves what they do it shows. From the excitment she showed just by going over eher packages! It was cute, she is so personable too. My husband and her got along so well and I think when your trying to make someone smile it kinda unnatural and with her we could just be ourselves. I would use her again in a heartbeat and loved everything she did to make my day the most memorable.

Something magical happens when Cristina takes your picture. When you see the pictures when she is done you won't believe your eyes! I had Cristina do my engagment, wedding, boudoir and new pictures that have nothing to do with my wedding! I loved all my vendors but I have to say, Cristina was something special and was worth every penny. Even my dad, after all his complaining, said I made the right decision in hiring her.

Cristina is terrific!! My original photographer cancelled 2 weeks before my wedding. Cristina stepped in and did my engagement photos and even changed her plans to shoot my wedding.

She is terrific and I am still getting raves about my beautiful pictures!!!

We could not be happier with Christina and Vanesa from Wisner Photography. When we first met Christina we immediately clicked,she was fun and really cared to listen to our ideas and what was important to us about photography. We had a great time at the engagement session and I felt like a model for my bridal portraits and the pictures were GREAT!! She just makes you feel relaxed and at ease and it shows in the pictures. I can't believe that's us. For our wedding we barely noticed they were there and we got beautiful pictures from so many great moments on our wedding day. I recommend Christina and Wisner Photography to everyone I know that is getting married or even thinking about getting engaged. We love every single photo!!

Cristina and her assistant really took the time to get to know us and therefore were able to get the photos that we dreamed of. Her communication and customer service is outstanding. We still receive compliments on our photos. I can not imagine our day without her.

Cristina and her assistant were a lot of fun. They were very respectful towards our families during the formal portraits and polite to all of our guests. I would recommend Wisner Photography to any bride who is looking for amazing wedding photos! I thought that Cristina and Vanessa were professional, creative, and fun! They took every photo I had on my "must take" list plus way, way more!We hardly knew they were there the day of the wedding but they still managed to capture so many incredible candid shots!! Cristina and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. We enjoyed the entire process.... from engagement.... to bridal.... to wedding. It was easy to be ourselves (which is hard to do with a camera pointing at you!) which captured some of the most wonderful moments of our day. We have gotten so many compliments on our photographs and the wedding party talked about how easy Cristina was to work with. I would recommend her 100% to anyone looking to have beautiful pictures.

Doesn’t work well with others

One of my friends used Cristina Wisner as her wedding photographer and I adored her wedding photos. However, when it came to my wedding day I wonder if she lost her dang mind. I had a videographer, who tried to reach out to her prior to the wedding. She never responded. Come wedding day, she is nothing but rude to the videographer and doesn’t even attempt to try new shots when the videographer is in the shot.

Some examples of why I would not recommend her:
1- She was late on my wedding day, costing me precious photography time.
2- she forgot one of the most important shots on my requested shot list, a photo with my husband and dog.
3- STAGED photos such as my mom and I getting ready and the petal toss are ruined bc the videographer was in them. The videographer might have been in her way but these were STAGED photos she could have and SHOULD HAVE recreated. The petal toss was one of the main photos I want, as I explained to her in person AND via the shot list. However, my bridesmaid had to suggest it to remind her. AND when we did it, she told us she got the shot after only one try- when in fact she DID NOT bc the videographer was in the photo. (I’ve included the photo in my review so you can see!) We should have recreated the shot as it was staged!!! What the heck?!?
4- when I wanted a certain reception photo I had to HUNT HER DOWN myself and find her in the bridal suite. I, the bride, had to hunt my photographer down. That sucks. I don’t have that many reception photos because she was in the bridal suite most of the time.

I'm very upset that I have to leave a review like this. I wouldn't recommend any couple to hire Cristina. It has been over 2 years and we still DO NOT have our wedding pictures in our possession. NO newly wed couple should have to go through this. It is very hard to get any kind of response from her. We paid a lot of money for our package and she has not delivered ANYTHING! Those are our memories, our precious moments from the best day of our life. We also told her that we would pay extra for a bigger book/the rest of our pictures and STILL NOTHING! She admitted to me that she messed up and that she would pay for the extra books and she RE-SENT me the pictures to review AGAIN like we were back at step one. I told her what I wanted several times and when she sent me the draft of all if the books, it was a horrible nightmare! It just looked like jumbled picture collage book. There was nothing personable about it. No care. Just NOTHING. She even put images of our most special moments like our first kiss together with a bunch of other pictures. Those moments need to be an 8 X 10 photo by themselves. It's so sad. Now we are stuck with no communication from her/ her taking forever to respond to and speaking with an attorney about what we should do and how to go about doing it and when we need to give the go ahead. 2 years is too long.. DON'T DO IT. She'll put you on the back burner for her other couples like she did us.
