Best DJ around

Jim Platt DJ'd our daughters wedding this past weekend. Best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. Was fully involved in what was going on. Kept the crowd involved. And the dance floor was full for 5 hours. Totally understood how to keep things going and the people having a great time. Would 100% recommend Jim for anyone elses wedding or event.

Easy Company to work with and Amazing DJ!

Wiser productions and DJ Todd Brown Did an awesome job on our wedding. Wiser productions website made it easy to select which DJ we wanted with the DJ profile section. DJ Todd did an amazing job at our big day. He was very professional and had an excellent feel of the crowd. He knew exactly when to play music to get people dancing and when to tone it back for people to visit. I highly recommend him to anyone searching for the perfect DJ. Thank you DJ Todd!!!!

Jim Platt is great

Dont know why it took ne so long to write a review but here it is . JIm Platt at Wiser productions is a great and fun DJ. i got married out doors in South Haven and Jim was the DJ. great music and great parry accessories. JIm ger into character also . Playing Air guitar and drums JIm was an experience my wedding guests still talk about 6 years later . as someone who worked in the catering industry many years JIm provides fantastic entertainment that puts him on the upper echelon of DJs

Best DJ ever!

Wiser productions was SO wonderful to work with and our DJ Scott Herriman was the best DJ anyone could ask for. He went above and beyond to make sure the night was perfect. So many guests complemented on how much they loved the DJ and we loved him as well. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was nog easy but Wiser Productions and Scott made the whole process very smooth and I would highly recommend them for any event!

Joe Debiak was an amazing DJ and Master of Ceremonies for our reception. He also provided the soundtrack for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We have an unconventional taste in music, primarily wanting to hear music from the 60s and 80s. Joe really listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure we heard what we wanted to hear (and didn’t hear what we didn’t want to hear) on our day. Joe was calm and cool. Everything flowed really smoothly and the dance floor was always full. I would definitely recommend Joe to future brides!

Andy Carlson provided us an exceptional entertainment experience. He met us ahead of time and even drove to meet us half way as we were out of town. He coordinated all the music we wanted to have played and even took some of our CDs to use and returned them. At the event he became part of our celebration party, mixing with our guests, asking about how things were going and doing everything he could to make our event perfect. I cannot think of what more he could have done and to top it off he is just a great guy to work with and such a pleasant personality. Our event was at the Fetzer Center on the campus of WMU and Andy already knew of the venue and had things set up and ready to go when we got there an hour before our guests arrived. Jim Platt was the DJ for our wedding on 5/12/18 in Zeeland, Mi. He was an absolute blast to work with! He was 100% on top of communicating with us before the wedding and did an amazing job during the wedding. We booked him because he DJ’d a friends wedding the September before and we were blown away! We highly recommend Jim for a DJ, he will not disappoint!!!

We worked with Curt to book our DJ and photo booth for our August 19th, 2017. He talked to us on the phone to help us find the best DJ for us. We ended up choosing Andy Carlson. Andy was amazing to work with! He met with us in person the week before our wedding to go over last minute details and was readily available by e-mail and phone the days leading up to the wedding. He came prepared with our schedule and music choices printed out. Not only was he the DJ for the wedding, he also did the music for our ceremony. He arrived early and got everything setup with no problems. Just knowing that he was prepared kept me calm and stress-free. Our ceremony went great - the microphone was setup and the music was perfect. Andy kept everything moving during the reception by announcing our entrance, toasts, cake cutting, and last call. The dance floor was packed all night and he was great at taking requests from our guests like we had requested. We cannot thank Andy enough for making our wedding day great!

For our photo booth we used Kenn Livingston from Venture Photo Booths. Curt provided his e-mail and phone number to us while we were booking. Kenn was in constant contact with us during the month leading up to the wedding. He designed the header for the photo booth strips to include a picture and our wedding hashtag. The photo booth was busy all night long and our guests are still telling us weeks later how much they loved the photo booth! Thank you!

We booked with Wiser Productions specifically because of Craig Cunningham. Craig was an absolutely great DJ!! He provided music for both our ceremony and reception, provided his own speakers for both, along with microphones. Craig was friendly, attentive, and fun to work with. We met with him before hand to discuss our choice in songs. He walked through the whole ceremony and reception with us to ensure he had all the details. Day of he had everything set to go. He did a great job introducing the bridal party and the speeches. He helped coordinate table dismissal, cake cutting, and dancing. He made sure everything went smoothly! Overall, we would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone!! We truly enjoyed working with him and he was a key part of making our day special!!!

We worked with curt to book our DJ and photo booth for the wedding. Curt had made the whole experience really simple by giving us such good description on what to expect. We went with Craig as our DJ. He did our ceremony and transitioned everything so seamlessly! The reception was also a lot of fun and he was so accommodating throughout the whole time. He was able to read the crowd and everyone had so much fun. It was just an amazing time!

We had an awesome experience with Wiser productions and absolutely LOVED DJ Andy Carlson. He was very accommodating, and even played a recorded MP3 by a friend for us for our first dance. Wiser Productions was very easy to work with. You just submit your interest for a quote and they will contact you to find what kind of vibe you want with your wedding/reception. I love that they match your wants with the DJ that will meet your needs. DJ Monte Janssen was AWESOME! He does a great job of checking in with bride and groom. Monte really knows how to MC a party so it's fun and he keeps the dance floor filled! Our wedding was July 30, 2016 at the Old Mill in Plainwell, MI and we had our DJ through Wiser Productions! I would absolutely recommend Wiser Productions to everyone!! Our DJ was Jim Platt and he was absolutely amazing!! Jim exceeded our expectations!! He was very accommodating to my husband and I as there were a few family distractions we unfortunately had to deal with. Jim was very attentive to what we needed! He kept the energy up during our entire wedding reception!! Our guests were dancing the entire night!!! I've never been to a wedding where every single person was on the dance floor the entire evening!! He honestly was like a member of the family!! He was so focused on giving exactly what we wanted that we honestly can't thank him enough for the amazing job he did!! Thank you so very much for being amazing at what you do!!! My husband and I got married on 9-16-16. We decided to use Wiser Productions to help us celebrate. It was highly recommended by the Event Coordinator at our venue Lawton Community Center. We reviewed the options for DJs listed on the Wiser website and were impressed by Jon Janssen right away! Jon did not disappoint us. He made our evening fun and memorable. Our guests commented on how great he was and they enjoyed the music. Jon was familiar with the venue and everything went wonderful! We highly recommend Jon Janssen!

My husband and I got married at the Blue Dress Barn on 9-3-16 and had Andy from Wiser Productions DJ. Andy was incredibly easy to work with. He went above and beyond for us in several ways: playing custom music from my grandfather and uncle during dinner, playing a mashup we created for the bridal party walking into the reception (with a script of a fun Blue's Brothers-esq intro he read) as well as MC'ing and announcing all the special moments throughout the night. He played a ton of music off the playlist we gave him and nothing off our “do not play” list. He made things go very smoothly. We had no complaints about the music, and the dance floor was lively the whole night! We were very impressed with the quality and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would definitely recommend Andy to DJ any of our friend’s weddings.

We had Joe Debiak from Wiser Productions as our DJ, and he was the consummate professional. Joe was great at progressing through the various events of the reception, and made sure to get everyone excited and prepared for what was coming next. We were able to work with him to provide a list of "Do Not Play" songs,and give him an idea of what the audience would be like, so he could cater the playlist accordingly. Joe delivered in every respect. We even had multiple guests come up and compliment us on our choice of DJ!

An added value of using Joe and Wiser Productions was that they brought two sound systems--one for the cocktail hour area, and a different one for the rest of the reception--all without any additional charge. Because of this, we had a seamless transition with great music the whole time.

I highly recommend Wiser Productions and Joe specifically, and would gladly recommend them to my friends and family as well.

Monte was our DJ through Wiser Productions. Everything was great! Monte had excellent communication before and during our event. He kept things flowing and everyone had a great time. I also work at the Country Club and we only use Wiser for all our our entertainment needs.

Save yourself the trouble of shopping around and book Wiser! We booked Randy Sheldon and his photobooth after we saw him DJ a friend's wedding, and both times he was fantastic! He plays a great mix of songs that get everyone up and dancing. The photobooth is huge (which is a good thing, just make sure you have room for it in your venue) and people loved it. The bride and groom even get a cd of all of the images people took throughout the night. I haven't looked at it yet but I know it will be hilarious!

Overall, everyone I spoke with at Wiser Productions were professional and easy to work with. They have a bunch of DJs to choose from at different price points, too.

My husband and I had never hired a DJ for anything before and we were getting married in a small town in MI. If you've ever looked for a DJ online before (without really any recs from anyone) it can be a daunting task because a good DJ for your wedding is critical! We came across Andy and liked what we heard so decided to book him. We could not have asked for a better DJ! He made sure to do his homework, was super easy to work with, and never made a mistake along the way! We didn't have a wedding coordinator either and he was great with getting the wedding party ready for our Intros, making sure everything was announced well and on time, and made sure to play every request and genre we had asked for. We've recieved a ton of compliments from friends and family about how the music at our wedding was probably one of the best they've been to. All thanks to Andy!

My husband Ben and I recently got married on May 24th, 2015 at The Barn at Monterey Valley in Allegan, MI and were lucky enough to have found Scott Herriman from Wiser Productions to DJ our event! Everyone has been to at least one wedding in the past where the DJ stands behind the table playing song after song without saying a word or realizing that it has been two hours since the first dance and the dance floor remains empty. This was one of my biggest fears when planning our wedding. Little did I know that our wedding would be the exact opposite! From the time of the first dance until the last song of the night our dance floor was packed! Scott was able to choose songs that got everyone on their feet and kept them dancing all night long. Oftentimes Scott was on the dance floor himself teaching people a new dance or getting them excited about a song! He played a perfect variety of songs - some fast and some slow. He was able to play across all genres and all time periods of music to make sure there was something for everyone! He was timely, professional and full of energy all night long! At the end of the night our dance floor was just as full as at the beginning of the night and everyone was sad that the party had to come to an end! In addition to keeping the party rocking all night long Scott was an excellent MC for our entire reception. He kept things running smoothly and made sure that everything was taken care of so that Ben and I could relax, have fun and simply enjoy the party! Wiser Productions and especially Scott Herriman - Ben and I cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make our wedding day one to remember forever! Scott, it was wonderful to have met you and my family and I will be forever grateful. You are incredible!

If you are hiring a wedding DJ, before you do anything else, call Wiser Productions and see if Guy Voss is available. And if he isn't....maybe consider changing your wedding date....
Ok, maybe not really, but he is seriously the BEST DJ in Michigan. Honestly. I've been to a LOT of weddings, and our guests have not stopped raving about him and how much FUN they had! He went WAY over and above. Some examples? I wanted to play a video of my grandpa singing at the reception, and for a small fee he brought a projector, screen, etc, set it up, had everything ready to go, and the whole thing went flawlessly. We also rented our photobooth through him, which was a HUGE success, and when we requested they please provide the album and pen so we had one less thing to deal with? No problem. Done. Oh, and when my husband and I decided to try the famous lift during Time of My Life in the middle of the dance floor? Who caught it on video, but Guy.
All that, AND he kept the party going until the very end, and then some. I can't tell you how many people have said that it's the most fun they have ever had at a wedding, ever!
All this for a GREAT price. Don't look any further!

We had Guy Voss as our DJ and absolutely LOVED him. He played all the right music, younger more upbeat and popular songs, but then brought out some of the 'older' crowd with a slower song. I may be biased, but it was one of the best weddings I've been to as far as the entertainment and DJ set up.

Andy Carlson was our DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception at Niko's Landing. He was so wonderful that one of our friends who is getting this married this year asked me for his information immediately following our wedding! He met with me before the ceremony and was so pleasant and patient with me. The music was one of the most important aspects of the wedding to me and so I was very specific as to what I wanted. Andy took great care to accommodate all my requests. He was definitely not your typical cheesy wedding DJ. More people danced then we expected to and truly seemed to enjoy themselves and I know it was partly due to Andy's great skills as an M.C.

He did an absolutely amazing job, you can tell he truly has a knack for reading the crowd, and playing what will keep the dance floor packed! Curt & his staff did a fantastic job connecting us with a great string trio, Bach to Bacharach, for our wedding & literally the best d.j. I have ever witnessed, Scott, The Hurricane, Herriman, for our wedding reception.

We had DJ Craig Cunningham for our wedding reception, and he was absolutely PERFECT. When we were first looking at DJs through Wiser, he was described to us at the "non-intrusive" DJ, which, for two introverts like us, sounded perfect. We honestly didn't know what to expect for our reception, but after talking to Craig about a week before the wedding to go over everything, I felt that our reception was in great hands. And it was...we're still getting compliments from our guests about how perfect the music was. After all of the formal dances were done, and we finished the Good Luck Dance (which was a recommendation Craig gave, and it's SUCH a good idea, honestly, everyone should do this at their reception), the dance floor was NEVER empty until the reception ended at 11PM. And then our lovely guests chanted "ONE MORE SONG" over and over again until Craig came back on to do an encore (Craig, if you're reading this, sorry about that...) So, don't let "non-intrusive" fool you...it was quite a party. Our reception is still being talked about, and we owe the majority of that to Craig. I would 100% recommend him to anybody...and I'm pretty sure all 154 of our guests would recommend him, too!

We used DJ Jon Janssen for our September wedding and couldn't be happier at how it all turned out. We had been slightly concerned with how our reception was going to turn out because we had a large variety of people coming. But Jon erased all those concerns. Everyone from our college age friends to our grandparents were on the dance floor all night. I can honestly say I don't think i've been at another wedding where the dancefloor was that full all night. He played a great mix of music from multiple genre's and got the specific song choices we wanted in there as well. When a couple of guests were requesting songs if it was slightly questionable he would find myself or my now husband and find out if that was something we wanted played.
He also did the music for our outdoor ceremony and provided a mic for that as well. All setup was handled ahead of time and the sound quality for both indoors and out was wonderful. Their price was also better than some of the competitors, and they were extremely easy to work with. We filled out a couple of worksheets with our preferences and schedule, and then about a week before we met with Jon to iron out all the details. He was more than happy to offer advice on how to make things run smoother, and after our reception I'd say that he knew what he was talking about. I highly recommend Wiser Productions and Jon for any couple looking to have a rocking dancefloor alllll night!

We used Craig Cunningham as our DJ. Craig is no doubt a FIRST CLASS DJ that knows how to run a reception. Craig basically planned our entire wedding reception. As soon as I got off the call with him I felt very confident about what was going to happen at our reception. On they day of the reception Craig went over and above for us and our guests. The reception turned into a huge dance party and will we never forget. It was literally the best reception that I have ever been to! And it was mine!

We had Jon Janssen DJ our wedding and we were so happy we did! He did such a great job and was so easy to work with. We had an outdoor wedding so some of the setup was a little tricky trying to avoid rain and get his cords extended down to the river setting. He did it all without any question and the rain held off for the ceremony and the rest of the reception! The sound was great and no one complained that they couldn't hear the ceremony well. He played all of the music that I wanted for the ceremony with impeccable timing. Then the reception started and the dance floor was full the entire time! He respected the list I gave him of "do not plays" and also played a lot of songs that I had requested for the reception. We had guests request songs on their RSVP's so that way we made sure people would be dancing. Guests commented on how excited they were to hear their song be played. He even played a few extra songs at the end because everyone was having so much fun. I highly recommend Jon for a DJ for any event, but especially your wedding! thanks so much!

We used Monte Janssen for our DJ. He was exactly what we needed. He kept things moving as guests arrived, picked excellent background music for when people filed in and during the reception afterwards. He had all the songs my daughter requested for the ceremony and even got the humor in her choice of songs and quotes from the Princess Bride that she used at the beginning of the ceremony. My daughter and I both watched his blooper reel on Wiser's site and both knew he was the perfect fit us.

Scott Herriman is the best of the best!!! He puts on an amazing show...extremely engaging with the guests and is apart of the party himself. He really loves his job and prides himself in it. I would recommend him for your wedding reception a million times over....but book early because he fills up fast!!

We went through Wiser Productions to pick our DJ for our reception. There are a million DJs out there, but not all of them are true professionals. We hired Jon Janssen, and we are sure glad we did. He kept the agenda moving, entertained our guest, and kept playing the music that was keeping the party alive. Our guests left the reception feeling exhausted. That is how we know everyone had a great time. Jon was really easy to work with in regards to picking songs, creating a do not play list, setting up the agenda, getting all the names right. We can't thank him enough!

Our DJ was Scott Herriman and he was absolutely fantastic! He perfectly orchestrated our wedding introductions with our master of ceremonies and took requests. Throughout the night I heard from almost every attendant "who is this DJ? He is the best we have ever seen at a wedding!!" He even broke out his own moves on the dance floor and got everyone involved.

We had Andy Carlson as our DJ, and he was awesome! He kept our dance floor packed, was extremely flexible, and he even fought my aunt off who kept telling him to get a dollar dance started (I made it clear I didn't want one to him.) Great value, and very affordable. I would recommend him over and over again. He chose songs to get our parents and older generations on the floor as well as new, current ones that our friends enjoyed.

We booked Craig Cunningham for our recpetion on the recommendation of Curt Wiser. Craig was AMAZING to work with! I had no idea how to plan a reception but after the very first conversation with Craig my worries disappeared. He walked us through the reception time line and left nothing to quesiton. At the end of the conversation I knew our reception would be perfect. On the day of the reception Craig kept everything organized and flowing and the dance floor was packed the entire time. He also took the time to play guest requests and was extremely nice to all of our guests. If you are looking for a reliable, fun, professinal Dj then hire Craig Cunningham!

I had Guy Voss as my DJ for my wedding and in one word, he was BRILLANT! People don't understand how important the DJ is for your wedding but they really direct the entire event. After a year and a half of planning, there was no way that I wasn't going with the BEST DJ in town. Guy came highly recommended by a friend of mine who had just got married but couldn't have Guy as her DJ because he was already booked. Once I knew the church was available and booked the venue, Guy Voss was my next vendor to book. He was extremely professional throughout the night. He made sure to always keep the guests informed of what detail was going on while accommodating all my requests. I didn't give him a whole lot of direction of his playlist but it's like he read my mind. He has a lot of experience so I trusted him. My wedding party and guests had a blast! We all danced well into the night. I don't think I ever left the dance floor which is exactly how I wanted my wedding night to go. It was absolutely perfect! Thank you Guy Voss for an amazing wedding and an unforgettable day!

Both Guy Voss and Curt Wiser were great during the whole process. Curt took the time to find the right fit for what we wanted. Guy made the whole process very easy and was right on point for everything. They could not have been better to work with and would definitely use them again without hesitation.

This response is for GUY VOSS- the DJ that you need to have at your wedding. While I did not have a good experience with the owner of Wiser Productions, Guy hands down, made up for my experience with the owner.

He provided services for both our ceremony and our reception. We had selected our main songs and provided him with roughly four hours of music (pulled together by my husband) and he was able to incorporate these songs seamlessly with his own. There were several times throughout the reception where people were going to leave and he literally pulled them back onto the dance floor. This is imperative to keep the party going.

We had an outdoor wedding and at one point it started raining, he kept over 50% of the crowd still on the dance floor. I want to reiterate this, people STILL danced in the rain-this is how wonderful he is at his job.

From a brides perspective it would have been easier to hire him directly-a lot less headache- but I understand that he needs an agent to generate business. I've been to several weddings in southwest Michigan who have used Wiser Productions for their DJs and Guy by far, is the best. Incredibly casual, flexible, and GENUINELY cares about your needs even when you're incoherent because of "Bride Brain".

Wiser Production made our reception unforgettable. Our DJ was Jon Janssen. He made sure that people was dancing the whole night. After getting several refferals from other vendors and friends we called Wiser Productions. We spoke with Kurt the owner and explained we were looking for someone that will run the event without being to over the top, he suggested Craig Cunningham as our DJ.

From the moment we spoke with Craig we knew we had made the right choice! His level of expertise on weddings is amazing. We barely had to do any work ourselves because Craig had everything covered. At the reception Craig was in control the whole time and everything went exactly as he said. The whole day was PERFECT!

We had Montage at our wedding...and they were so fun, full of energy and (obviously) played great music! I worked exclusively with Curt, who was so pleasant and easy-going--he responded in a timely manner to repeated emails, accommodated our every request and worked hard to make sure every last detail was perfect and just as we wanted it.

We also had Brandon, who plays the keys for Montage, play the keyboard for our ceremony. It was such a nice touch; we received so many compliments on how wonderful he played, and how fun it was to have mainstream music during our wedding. My only regret is that I didn't get to hear more of it (much of his playing was while guests were seated)!

We had an emergency event at the end of our night, so our dancing time was cut a little short. Even still, the dance floor was packed on the few songs we were able to sneak in, and it was clear that guests were primed and ready to "get down." Curt helped me navigate a challenging situation with such class and direction, and I will never be able to truly express my gratitude for how wonderful he was to us.

Book Montage if you want to have a blast and dance the night away. It's impossible NOT to dance when they play. So what are you waiting for? Book Montage now! Trust me...you won't regret it!

Guy Voss was my DJ for my wedding. He traveled all the way from MI to IN. He was organized and knew exactly what he was doing. He contacted me about 1 week prior to make sure that he had my contact information correct. He emailed me when he had questions and responded to my questions right away. The day of the wedding he was on time and assisted us with the flow of the wedding and making sure all ran on time. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor and his music choices were wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Guy and Wiser Productions.

Guy Voss from Wiser Productions was our DJ and we couldn't have been happier. Yes, it's pricey, but TOTALLY worth it. I really trusted him to pull through the day of and he didn't disappoint. Andy was very easy to work with. We had a very casual reception at a summer camp that we had rented. Andy was creative with the way he handled our odd setup, the dance floor was clear across the camp from dinner and he handled with no problem at all.

I could not have asked for a more solid DJ. He flavored the play list with our songs, he took requests and brought marvelous lights. He took all of our family silliness in stride.

I would hire Andy again, and I know some of my cousins are thinking about doing just that!

LOVE Wiser Productions! From the first phone call to the impeccable service, Wiser Productions is great! Curt Wiser helped us select a DJ and he made an excellent recommendation. We had Monte Janssen DJ our wedding and we absolutely loved him! Monte kept our party going all night long. Our guests were dancing the entire night and we all had a wonderful time. Jon did a terrific job of providing a perfect balance of music. He wasn't overbearing or pushy about guests dancing but mixed it up enough to help consistently pull people back to the dance floor. The sound quality was outstanding and Jon offered a great variety of music (from older to newer). We would recommend Jon to any of our friends as he contributed to a perfect day/night.

We were so lucky that our venue suggested Guy Voss of Wiser Productions to DJ our wedding. Guy is doubtlessly the best wedding DJ in southwest Michigan. He was genuine and fun, not at all cheesy. He was also a great MC through toasts and dinner and then got everyone on the dance floor. He was definitely in tune with the music we liked (he had us fill out a profile beforehand) and in tune with what our guests were responding to. Our dance floor was packed all night, and we heard he even stayed after we left because everyone was having so much fun!

We contacted Wiser Productions specifically to book Craig Cunningham as our DJ because he did my cousins wedding last year and she was very happy with the service. Craig not only guided us successfully through our reception he MADE the evening incredible for us. Even though we had already saw him perform at our cousins wedding he was able to customize our reception, so it didn't feel like it was the same event. He met with us in person to discuss the details and then followed up by phone and email. We had the band Drop 35 play our wedding. We originally saw them on someone else's wedding video and were determined to track them down. We planned our wedding from 800 miles away, so one weekend when we were home we tracked them down at a bar in Richland and felt they would be perfect for our wedding.

We contacted Kurt and the whole process was smooth with booking the band. They were also able to do our uplight (which looked AMAZING) for a steal compared to some of the other price quotes I received. Emily was our contact with the band and thru a series of emails and phone calls, we felt comfortable for the big day. The band was phenomenal. Friends, family, and venue staff complimented us on how great the band was. We could not be happier.

We had Guy Voss DJ our wedding and he did an amazing job! The music was perfect for our outdoor ceremony! He timed everything to blend together, fading in from one song to the next- it was flawless! The volume of the microphone for our minister and our reader was perfect, especially considering it was a windy autumn day outside. I am so happy that I chose Wiser Productions for my wedding reception music. I booked with Monte J. and he was amazing! He exceeded our expectations in every area of the reception. He met with my husband and I a couple of times and had a few phone conversations. He made us both feel very comfortable leaving our wedding fun in his hands. He played all the right songs at the right time. He know how to keep the dance floor full all night long. I saw some family members dance that night that I have never seen dance before. He played all of our special songs at perfect times. I felt that he got a good grasp of the type of people we were and the type of music we like. I'm 100% pleased with the great job that Monte did. If I could do it again I would do it all the same!

Monte Janssen is the DJ you want if you want the best ceremony and reception ever! Monte works very well with his clients to ensure that your ceremony and reception go as smoothly as possible. Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Monte kept the crowd interested without being corny. When it was time to go our dance floor was so packed I don't think our guest wanted to leave! And that's the kind of memory you want!

Montage played at our barn wedding reception and really rocked the roof off. From the very beginning when I spoke with Kurt on the phone I knew he was going to provide excellent entertainment for our casual wedding. They are very reasonably priced and travelled without any additional charge. He worked with me to get the sound system running inside and out--it worked flawlessly. From the first dance to the last dance, the dance floor was PACKED and i mean that sincerely. The whole night and afterwards people were raving about the band. The time in between songs is literally non-existant. I dont know where they find the energy, but they really read the crowd and knew that we were ready to dance to fast songs as opposed to the slower ones. My favorite part of possibly my whole wedding reception was my cowbell solo--I can't thank them enough for giving me center stage and letting me feel like a rockstar bride. Everything was very personal! My dad, who loves live music, especially oldies, was having a blast. It was so great to see them appealing to all generations present with songs like "run around sue", "brown eyed girl", "brick house", and "sexy back". Would recommend these folks to anyone!

Our DJ, Jim Platt, was awesome!!! The whole night flowed beautifully...he is definitely a pro at this! We had people on the dance the entire night and if the reception would have lasted another hour, people still would have been dancing. I would HIGHLY recommend him!

Craig Cunninham was the DJ from Wiser Productions for our wedding and he was amazing! He's not one of those in-your-face DJ's that are all to common at weddings. He kept the night moving and kept the dance floor packed. Craig also did my ceremony & cocktail hour music as well. He was extremely professional but you could tell he was having fun as well. I highly recommend Craig from Wiser Productions!

We had Jim Platt for our Wedding D.J. and WOW, can he have fun. He made our reception :-) If you go with Jim, and I hope you do, definitely request him to play Tequilia and do the PeeWee Herman Dance!! haha!! Jim was extremely prepared for our final consultation, and always had great ideas for songs. I 100% recommend Jim.

Andy Carlson was our DJ and he made our reception so much fun! He did a fantastic job. He was easy to communicate with, really listened to our music taste and made some fantastic selections, and really read the room on what people liked/disliked. We got so many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had (and how much their feet hurt the next day). Thank you Andy!!

Wiser Productions was so helpful in securing our DJ. We had Andy Carlson and he did a wonderful job for our daughter's wedding. He arrived early, was set up in plenty of time, and played all of our requested music. The dance floor was busy.

We chose Wiser Productions, more specifically Monte as our DJ and Scott for our uplighting and both did a great job!! Monte kept the dance floor PACKED all night long! We had SO many compliments on how fun our wedding was and a big part of that was due to the music keeping the dance floor alive! There was a bit of a sound issue as we had to move the DJ booth closer to the dance floor but other than that everything was great. Wiser Productions was great at working with us to find the perfect DJ and made finalizing payments easy as we live out of state. Our uplighting was also fantastic, we used PINK which looked great in our reception room. I would have liked a little more color as I feel it's fairly expensive and wasn't as dramatic as I would have liked. All in all we were very pleased with Wiser Productions.

Guy was the DJ for our wedding at Lawton Community Center in November, and he did such a wonderful job. My husband and I were flying in from California to get married in my hometown, so we weren’t able to be in frequent contact with him during the days leading up to the wedding. We spoke on the phone a few days before the wedding to touch base, and it seemed like Guy had everything under control. When our wedding day came, he definitely didn’t disappoint! He was very helpful in coordinating the whole reception, making sure the evening went smoothly and guiding my husband and me along with deciding what should happen when. We were really pleased with his music selection, and I think our guests were, too; the dancing didn’t stop all night long! We would highly recommend Guy if you are looking for a DJ who is subtle, but knows what he’s doing and knows how to keep people on the dance floor.

Monte Janssen was our DJ through wiser productions. He was very friendly and outgoing. He engaged in the event and worked to get the party going. He played mostly what I wanted. There was some selections I would not have had played, but looking back those were songs that got the older couples on the dance floor and the kids also had a good time. He tried to appeal to everyone. Good job Monte!

My DJ from Wiser Productions was Monte Janssen. We really enjoyed Monte at our reception. He has the experience to keep the reception fun and moving along. He will get a feel for the crowd to decide what music to play. He was energetic without being too crazy. It is my understanding that he is usually the DJ for the New Year's Eve party at the Radisson in Kalamazoo. Though he is one of the more expensive DJ's at Wiser, I would definitely recommend him.

We would recommend DJ Craig Cunningham for couples having small weddings (we had 65 guests). He is professional and does a nice job of keeping everyone informed, but you forget he is there because he is discreet!

Jim (our DJ) did a spectacular job! When the dance floor started to look empty, he jumped right on the dance floor and got the party going - and he kept it going right up til the end. Jim made sure to play a good variety, and hit all our must-haves on our play list. He's very interactive and will be a blast for any crowd.

We used Jon Janssen as our wedding disc jockey for our September wedding. He had great and unique ideas and played music everyone loved. He got the guests involved and made it more personal than business. The only thing we had, and I did not know until after the wedding, my maid of honor had requested a few songs he wouldn't play. She told me what they were and they were good songs without inappropriate words (we had kids there) so I could not see a reason to not play them. But the songs he did play were fun and had people out on the floor. Everyone loved how involved he got.

We used Wiser Productions to book a DJ for our daughter's wedding. After meeting with the staff and discussing my daughter's wedding vision / guests / etc. they suggested Scott Herriman for our event. We were not disappointed! Scott was able to keep the energy high around the dance floor and he made sure he played the music the bridal party wanted. He was also very tolerant when it came to the children vying for his attention - he made everyone feel special and welcome and that he was there for them ... THANK YOU SCOTT! You were most appreciated at this event - nothing but compliments from our guests.

Our DJ was Craig Cunningham, and I don't think I could say enough great things about him. He handled the music for our ceremony, dinner and reception and he was fantastic at all three. We had several selections during our ceremony and he handled the timing perfectly. During dinner, his presence was subtle, but he was there when we needed him. Even after some last minute changes to our itinerary, he knocked it out of the park. He was friendly, affordable and really good at what he does. I'd definitely recommend him.

Andy Carlson dj'd my cousins' wedding and it was the first wedding I danced at- he really was good at reading the crowd and playing what kept them dancing. So I knew I'd go through him when I got married. We wanted specifically Beatles music during the dinner, which he did. He let us pick what we wanted/didn't want for dancing. He was very responsive to our wants and easy to communicate with via email or phone.
Professional and fun. He's kind of a goofy guy but he'll make your event fun.

We elected to use Wiser Productions for both our DJ services and photo booth, and we couldn't be happier. Monte Janssen was the perfect match for us. Prior to the wedding, he really took the time to ensure he understood our musical tastes and our preferences. When the reception came around, he really kept the party going. He was great accepting any requests we had and had no problem getting people onto the dance floor. Booking the photo booth was a bit more complicated than the DJ as we signed a contract with Guy Voss, but had a stand in (who turned out to be amazing!) actually show up the day of. The photo booth was the perfect addition to the reception and the photo strips captured some of the most hilarious and memorable parts of the evening. We are so thankful that we were able to book both services through one company and that we had the opportunity to work with such great guys!

We booked our DJ, Guy Voss, through Wiser Productions, and he was awesome!

I was nervous initially booking a DJ I wouldn't meet until the wedding day, and only talked on the phone to a couple times before the wedding, but everything worked out great. Guy worked with the song I selected for the bridal processional, looping it in case it ended before I was done walking. Thankfully, this didn't happen, but I was glad we had the option, and Guy seemed very knowledgable working with the songs. He was also able to fade my first dance song at the 3:25 mark, since the whole song is nearly 6 minutes, which would have seemed like an eternity!

Most importantly, Guy kept the dance floor packed all night long! From the time the first dance songs ended, until the lights came on at 11:30, there wasn't a single song where the dance floor emptied. He kept a good mix of Top 40 Dance/Pop, County, Classic Rock and slow songs. He even let my husband get on stage and sing-a-long to Folsom Prison Blues, which is something he was dying to do.

We also booked our photo booth and uplighting through Wiser and Guy Voss, which was a lot cheaper than booking these things separately. The photo booth was a huge hit, and our attendant was great. The uplighting added a magical touch to the venue and was worth the extra cost.

Overall, my wedding was a huge success, and we owe a lot of that to Guy Voss and Wiser Productions!
