Working with Winnie as our wedding photographer was an absolute delight. From the first interaction, Winnie's pleasant demeanor and professionalism put us at ease. Her willingness to experiment with different styles and techniques to capture the perfect shot was commendable. She skillfully managed our guests, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and included.
The final product delivered by Winnie was nothing short of beautiful. Her strong aesthetic sense shone through in every photograph, turning simple moments into stunning visual memories. Each image is a testament to her expertise in photography and her keen eye for detail.

So lucky we found the incredible Winnie
Hiring a photographer was one of the most time-intensive and somewhat stressful vendor research we did for our wedding as we were very choosy about who would do this big job for us- possibly the most important one- with photos that last a lifetime and beyond.
After lots of emails with different vendors, we came across Winnie and knew she was the one. We are SO glad we chose her for our very special wedding shots.
Winnie is multitalented in her wedding photography- she is extremely organized and timely, straightforward and to the point, sweet and humble, and most importantly, will without a doubt deliver the AMAZING SHOTS!
Our wedding morning was a little stressful as we were down a hair artist (one called out sick and our lackluster company did not send a replacement artist) and we were also dealing with unpredictable weather with small spouts of thunderstorms rolling through with potential to wreak havoc on our gorgeous garden venue.
Because Winnie had built in lots of buffer time into the timeline as she knows things always happen/take longer than expected, she was able to keep us right. on. schedule. throughout the whole day. I can't imagine what could have happened if we hadn't had an extremely organized photographer to bear with all of the craziness and still get all of the shots that we wanted. Winnie didn't miss a beat- she worked between the short passing storms to get everything we wanted in all of the outdoor spots we wanted and she kept a calm demeanor throughout. I can tell what a master she is in her work with the lighting she kept chasing and directing her team so gracefully throughout the day. She even shuttled us around the venue grounds in air conditioning to avoid the wet grounds after the rain as well as the oppressive humidity.
Winnie is the kind of artful photographer that bends her creativity and works flexibly with whatever variables she is given to not only get the job done right, but get it done MASTERFULLY. Putting your trust in her is the best thing you can do- all she needs you to do is pose and smile where and how she tells you to. She was also amazing in directing our friends and family in what to do in the photos as they were hot messes in the humidity and excitement of the day!
When we opened our sneak peeks the morning after (!!!), we teared up and kept borderline-screaming about how incredible our photos came out. I am not exaggerating when I say many looked like we could be on the front of a bridal magazine. Winnie combined perfect lighting, gorgeous backdrops, artful framing, and intentional directing of us to create the most stunning photos of us that we will cherish forever.
We are beyond thrilled with how ALL of our photos turned out and can't wait to frame many of them. We have already gotten sooooo many compliments from family and friends about how incredible our photos are.
Winnie, we can't thank you enough for giving us even MORE than we expected on what could have been a very stressful day! You made our dreams come true. HIRE WINNIE!!! -

We were so lucky to have Winnie available for our wedding; she is professional, easy to work with, quick to reply, and incredibly talented! With a small wedding photos were really important to us in order to share, and Winnie's are beautiful (I've been told they look like they're from a magazine). She kept us organized and on schedule the day of, and we had such a fun time despite being a bit camera shy, as she made us feel relaxed and natural. Could not recommend Winnie enough! -

Booking Winnie was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! I wanted photos that would be light, airy, classic, and timeless and Winnie’s work checked all those boxes!
My husband and I were getting married in NY but we had met and spent our entire relationship in DC, so we knew we wanted a local photographer to do an engagement shoot that reflected the DC chapter of our lives. At the time, we were still unsure if we wanted to use a NY based photographer for our wedding but as soon as we met Winnie and saw our engagement photos, we knew we had to have her for our wedding day!
Winnie and her team were so kind, warm, professional, and were an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I are so in love with our photos and our family and friends still talk to us about how beautiful our photos came out. Winnie is the absolute best and I would book her again and again if I could! -

Winnie is AMAZING! Best decision ever!
Winnie was an absolute dream to work with, and one of the best decisions we made in our vendor team! The clean, classic and romantic feel to her portraiture was exactly the look we were going for and her photos are true works of art that will certainly withstand the test of time. She is incredibly detail oriented and went above and beyond our expectations, including multiple receptive calls and FaceTime sessions to discuss our vision, a sweet welcome/introductory care package, and several thorough questionnaires going over special details and precise groupings of extended family members that we wanted documented on our day. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during both our engagement session as well as on the actual wedding day, and her efficiency and professionalism streamlined all of the photography shots amidst the hectic and chaotic day! We would HIGHLY recommend her for any couples looking for a fine art wedding photographer within the area! -

Where do I even begin. When we first got engaged, finding a fine art style photographer was top of my wishlist and when I stumbled upon Winnie’s profile on Instagram I fell in love with her work. One of the things I really appreciated about Winnie was her experience photographing and showcasing the love stories of mixed-race couples. I also really appreciated that she included an engagement session in her wedding package. We did ours at the Kennedy Center and the photos turned out stunning. My fiance and I are not the photo-forward type and a little camera shy and Winnie made us both feel super comfortable. On our wedding day, Winnie’s talent as a photographer truly shined. We had a gorgeous day at Stone Tower Winery, which Winnie captured perfectly. As a bride who planned her wedding during the COVID pandemic, my husband and I were just so thrilled to be getting married and Winnie captured some truly special and joyful moments throughout the day and evening. Her images are timeless and I know we will treasure them forever. She is also just such a sweet and thoughtful human, and we can’t wait to work with her again!!

Winnie is a very talented photographer. She has an amazing eye for detail and is very organized. Her photos are very bright and vibrant and she captures random moments that illustrate the emotion of the people in her photos which is my favorite part about her photography. We first booked Winnie in 2019 for our engagement shoot and what initially would have been our October wedding. When COVID derailed our plans, she was flexible and accomodating. She was great at communicating often replying to my emails within the same day.
She captured our minimony and wedding day beautifully. She often provided pointers in how to pose and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. She provided sneak-peak photos the day after each event, and delivered our gallery within a month. I am so glad we chose her as our wedding photogrpaher. The moments she captured in photos are memories my husband and I can look back on for years to come and share with our loved ones.

Winnie is an absolute MUST for your wedding day photography. I originally booked another photographer and after seeing the engagement shoot sneak peak had instant regret. I lost out on a $600 deposit, but it was all worth it because I switched over the Winnie immediately.
Winnie has only sent us sneak peak photos and they are absolutely priceless. At the start of this process, my husband was shocked at the cost of wedding photography, but when he saw those sneak peak images his willingness to pay SHOT RIGHT UP! These are lifelong treasures and only the best of the best should be entrusted with this job.
Winnie was extremely helpful and very professional throughout the entire process. She sent us a welcome gift, helped us with a timeline, really listened to my concerns, and identified the best spots for photos every single time. Even though she was on maternity leave, she was super responsive. The day of the wedding, she also kept us on point (family photos and scheduled poses/groups). She did kindly try 1 - 2 different pictures to appease my mom and a random lady who was adamant I needed a photo of the back of my dress LOL.
Without hesitation I would recommend Winnie for all of your photography needs! -

We wanted a photographer who can capture the moments with soft light and she was just perfect for us!
She and her photographers are detailed oriented and very helpful for everything. I couldn't decide what I should wear for the engagement photo, she helped me to pick. (Thank you Winnie!)
Her photos are bright yet soft, detailed-oriented yet calm.
I highly recommend her for everyone and I would like to hire her again for any upcoming photo sessions for me! -

Working with Winnie was such a dream. We had an engagement shoot with her and we loved her vision so much that we decided to book her for our wedding as well. We are not very comfortable in front of a camera, but she quickly put us at ease and provided great direction (with flexibility!) She worked wonderfully with all of our vendors, and our family and friends loved her. We were one of the first of our friends to get married and needed all the wedding advice we could get. We asked a billion questions, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. I would highly recommend Winnie! -

My wife and I first used Winnie Dora for our engagement shoot. She is fun to work with, yet professional and confident as a photographer. We knew once we received our engagement photos that we needed her skills for wedding day. While our engagement shoot was in Washington DC, our wedding was in Delaware and Winnie had no problem traveling. Our wedding party (including us) was 14 people of all sizes and personalities yet Winnie knew how to pose us all, individually and together, to get some of the most amazing photos we've ever seen. There were some curve-balls thrown in with our unique first look and having different locations for our ceremony and reception. Winnie was flexible enough to work with our requests and captured all the photos we wanted, and even some extras we weren't expecting. Winnie truly made an amazing day even more spectacular, and we get to re-live the moments every time we look through our wedding album. She is highly recommended by my wife and I, you won't be disappointed. -

I put out a search on a Maryland Facebook page for weddings for photographers and Winnie reached out to me. I reviewed her photos and thought they were exactly what we had discussed wanting for our wedding day. The light was so bright and the photos had light and romantic feel to them! Leading up to the wedding, Winnie had skyped/called us to keep us updated--she even helped with a wedding timeline.
Our wedding ran behind so much due to a lack of venue staff, Winnie helped with decor/moving things just to keep the photos/moments going along as smooth as possible. We love our wedding photos so much and we get compliments on them still six months later!! We plan to use Winnie for all of our important photography moments in the future!!! -

Winnie and her crew were creative, knowledgeable and timely. My family and I really enjoyed working with her and she delivered quality service with a great personality. From our engagement photo shoot, which included my daughter, to the wedding and teleconferences, and guide book (which was a lifesaver!) I felt that I was in trusted and experienced hands.
