  Amazing dress shop!

  I had the most amazing experience shopping at Winnie Couture. They reserve the entire store for each bride to make sure they have all the attention they need. I found the perfect dress on the first day I went, and went a few more times after to confirm the choice and to pick up the dress when it was ready. We worked with a few people along the process and they were all amazing. The dress was high quality and gorgeous on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend!

  They created my dream dress!

  I cannot believe how amazing this salon is! The consultants were so kind and knowledgeable and really made dress shopping a truly enjoyable experience (the champagne didn't hurt either). I'm a super picky person so I was really worried about finding the perfect dress. My consultant worked with me to create my very own custom gown! I got to pick out every single aspect of the dress and I couldn't be happier! But seriously, out of all of the salons I went to, this was by far the best. They made me feel special and like they genuinely wanted to help me find my perfect dress. I cannot thank them enough, I was so stressed when I walked in the door and I left light hearted and with a new gown! My dress turned out perfect and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! Thank you thank you thank you for helping to make our wedding perfect!

  Fun, quick, and simple path to gorgeous and unique wedding gown!

  I worked with Michelle Karaskiewicz at Winnie in Chicago. Winnie was the third stop of my wedding dress shopping weekend and quickly became my last once I found an amazing dress there! Michelle was so great to work with; She is personable, patient, and knowledgeable. Winnie's dresses are also GREAT! I loved almost every dressed I tried on there, especially their quality and structure. Winnie also builds the dress to your dimensions - as long as you're ~your wedding size when you buy your dress, you likely won't need any alterations! Because they are creating your dress for you from scratch, there's a pretty significant lead time (mine was ~6 months), but they are great about checking in throughout the process. I highly recommend going to Winnie!

  Winnie Couture Chicago and San Francisco

  I had a great experience with Winnie Couture at both the Chicago location where I found my dress, and the San Francisco location, where my dress was shipped to for pick up. The staff was very helpful in many ways, including the exchange of my veil after we realized I was sent home with a different shade of white than I ordered. I absolutely loved my dress, including the few details that I was able to custom to make it perfectly unique for our wedding day.

  Be wary of customizations!! Lack of accountability

  Stay clear!! Horrible customer service after the store majorly messed up my customized dress!! I was confirmed that certain customizations (including nude dying pads, changing mesh underlay to nude, and hemmed to the length of my heels) could be done to my gown at the time of purchase and over email in the days after.
  Therefore, I went ahead and waited the 6 months to receive my gown, only to pick up a gown with no customizations done (with 3 months before the big day!). The one that really hurt and my tailor said was not an easy fix is the top mesh was in the wrong color.
  The now manager told me it was the previous stylist’s mistake as it wasn’t possible to do that customization. Was stuck with a dress I didn't feel was the right. They tried to tell me we actually got exactly what I paid for and at least didn’t get charged additional for customizations!! (but I may have cancelled my order if I knew these couldn’t be done with such a short time frame until the wedding)
  No refund, no return, and they ghosted me for over 3 weeks.
  Just a lot of $$$ lost. I had to buy a last-minute wedding dress off the shelf due to this “high-end, customizable” shop’s mistakes. I've now been repeatedly put on the backburner with no reasonable resolution or accountability on their end. Very disrespectful considering the price point, their business model, and the sensitivity of this aspect of our wedding.

  Truly awful experience

  Customizations of dress weren’t made so apex was completely off and dress bunched. Alterations couldn’t fix it. Dress also didn’t arrive by date promised. Do not purchase here.
