I'm proud to say that I'm a Winnie Couture bride!

After 6 stores and 48 dresses later, I finally found my dream white bridal gown at Winnie Couture. Marlin, my bridal consultant, was such a sweetheart and had the best people reading skills of all the bridal consultants I met with. Without a doubt, she can help any picky bride select out a dress that will make them feel radiant, and want to wear their wedding dress everyday.

Not only are Winnie's gowns beautiful crafted and well constructed, the wonderful thing is that I was able to mix and match different styles since all the dresses are made in-house, instead of carrying a number of designers on the racks. That way, I was able to create a custom creation of my very own.

In the end, I walked away with a GORGEOUS gown that even made strangers and even other brides-to-be turn their heads in admiration, and also made at least 100 guys jealous that I'm off the market.

I worked with Monika at the Beverly HIlls Flagship store. I went in with out any real idea of the type of dress I wanted to walk down the aisle in and she helped me pick out a dress I would never have picked out for myself. The Avalynn is everything I wanted and more; classic, comfortable, with a little bit of bedazzle. Monika made sure to check up on me after my wedding dress purchase, before the wedding day with alterations and dress storing instructions, and after the wedding wishing me a congratulations. Winnie Couture makes beautiful wedding dresses and I would recommend them to anyone!

After I took my best friend here to try on wedding dresses for her wedding (and she said yes to the dress here) I knew when it was my time, I'd be coming back...and I did! There were several things about my time and experience at Winnie that stood out to me...

1. The first time I went was with my fiance because she is a she. Both our families wanted to see us try dresses on and we thought it would be a good idea (at the time) to do this all together. Two brides meant twice the amount of an entourage. We had about 18 people in tow with us that day. The ladies at Winnie were amazing! They were beyond accommodating to us and our families. Little did I know...I found my dress that day...

2. When I went back for the second time, I knew I wanted to try on one dress. It was the last dress I had tried on the time previously, but was too overwhelmed -- and hungry -- to say or do anything about it. This time, I went with just my mom. It was peaceful. And fun. And special.

3. Aside from the service they provide at Winnie, the environment is welcoming and grand. You walk into a beautiful space fit for a queen. The dresses are all beautiful; the dressing rooms are all large with lush and soft carpeting. They have bouquets and veils and accessories up the wazoo for you to try and play with to make you feel like the blushing bride you are.

4. Once I said yes to my dress, there were several deadlines they promised, such as when the dress would first be ready, second fittings, alterations, etc. Not only were they always ahead of scheduled, they always called without me ever having the thought to check in with them.

The bottom line? I loved my dress on the day of my wedding. I love my dress now. And I am looking forward to creating as many vow renewals as possible with my wife so I can keep putting the dress back on!

My family and i went to Winnie Couture in Beverly Hills about 3months ago. Immediately walking in the door there is the most amazing light floral scent that hits your nose. The boutique is beautiful, and the staff is so warm and helpful. This experience was everything i imagined when i saw myself wedding dress shopping!! I also love the fact that they have a wide price range that will work for almost any budget. I will recommend this boutique to all my future bride friends!!

This is the first bridal salon I visited and ended up finding my dream gown. They were very patient with me as i tried many gowns on and kept going to the racks looking for more. The last gown I happened to try on was the one. There was still another gown I still had a question about and she was very nice in placing with me in both gowns with veil, shoes, accessories, etc. so i can see the difference and how i felt with each. Once i decided they brought out champagne glasses so we could celebrate. It felt amazing and loved the experience.

I was about to settle and just get a cheaper dress after looking everywhere and not finding one I liked but one day I decided to go to the LA Bridal Expo and that's where I learned about Winnie. Everything from the first visit to the store to my final fitting felt like a fairy tale. My consultant Christy was the best. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make the process so easy. Every time I came for a fitting I felt like a princess. Everything about the store makes the experience, the ambiance, the smells. I would recommend this place a million times over. If you are looking for a designer dress, an amazing store and experience look no further.

Winnie Couture may be in Beverly Hills, but don't think they will be snooty or rude to you. I felt so comfortable there and all their staff was friendly and attentive. I must have tried on about 25 dresses and each one was treated as just as special as the first one. I worked with a girl that I don't believe is there anymore, but Ashley is who helped me try the dress on when it was ready to take home. My dress was ready way earlier than promised and it looked perfect! They give you an option to pay a premium and have the dress made just for your body .. SO WORTH IT! No tailoring needed!

If you check in on Yelp, you get a free veil up to like $100 dollars or something! I didnt' have a veil so I didn't use it .. wish I did though! great deal!

Prices not bad, because the quality makes it worth it!

They make the stressful experience of finding a dress FUN and exciting instead of stressful and long. Personalized and private experience as well.

My first visit to Winnie Couture was about a month ago. The atmosphere was very glamorous and smelled like roses. Polet was my bridal consultant I highly recommend her she is amazing, very sweet and fun to work with. She was always very patient with me and helped me feel beautiful in each dress by adding a veil, headband, or jewlery. Polet also understood exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress and didn't try to put me in dresses that weren't what I had been looking for.There are so many dresses here I probably tried on over 10, and they were all so beautiful. During our visit we were allowed to take pictures which helped me so much, because I was able to remember all the dresses I tried on, and it gave me a different view on how the dresses looked on me. We also never felt rushed like we did at other boutiques, so instead of the usual hour we were at Winnie for two hours. I had fell in love with a dress, but my mom didn't like it so we went to 5 other bridal salons after Winnie, and she could tell that no other dress made me glow like the one at Winnie did. I ended up calling Winnie Couture last minute on a saturday luckily they were able to see me right away and I bought my dress Yay! Thank you Polet and Winnie Couture for helping me find my dream dress and for giving me an amazing bridal shopping experience.

Winnie Couture in Beverly Hills is the most adorable and girly bridal shop. My parents and I had a fantastic experience with Monika, our bridal consultant. She was so nice and helpful. We found the most beautiful lace dress and she did a double rush order so that I could get the dress shipped out to me early. It ended up being delivered even earlier than planned, which was a plus. The dress did need some alterations and an extra corset to support some of the weight (the material was pretty heavy), but all in all it came out really beautifully. I was very pleased with the service I received from Monika and Winnie Couture, and with how I looked on the wedding day.

Winnie Couture created a customized dress for me that made my dreams come true. Also, when I wasn't thrilled with my veil, they made me a brand new veil in two weeks that exceeded my expectations. Winnie is a wonderful company to work with!

I bought my dress at Winnie Couture a year before my wedding, and I was actually worried that I might see it on another bride in the many weddings we attended over the year. BUT to my surprise, mine was a one and only. See I wouldn't have known the styles there are very classic and unique because I didn't visit any other bridal stores. Winnie was my first and only stop. When I finally put my dress on a year later, it was just as amazing and beautiful as ever.

I loved my experience at Winnie Couture and would recommend that every bride stops by the salon. My consultant Amanda was a great help. I couldn't make up my mind between two dresses, so she worked with me to design a custom dress that combined the two. The service at the salon exceeded my expectations. Months after ordering my dress, I was at a bridal show and Amanda remembered me and my dress!

On the day of the wedding, I felt so beautiful. The dress was perfect.

A friend of mine recommended Winnie Couture since she got her wedding dress from there. To be honest I didn't think I would find anything. I was looking for something somewhat simple but elegant for a beach wedding. I wanted to look like a bride without all the poof. But I immediately loved the place when I walked in. Its very elegant inside and the customer service was excellent. I went to 4 salons and Winnie was the only one that followed up with me. I ordered my dress 6 months out and got it a month before my wedding day. My dress fit me like a glove so I did not need any alterations. 1 less thing I had to worry about!

Christy was the Bridal Stylist who helped me find my dress and she was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable!

Hands down Winnie Couture is amazing! the best in Beverly Hills. I had such a wonderful experience at Winnie Couture. I was a bit concerned about going there because I had what other places had described as a “low budget”. This was the last of 4 places I went to in a day and it was such a relief to be treated so well, like a bride should be! Monika is awesome and she made sure she didn’t show my anything over my budget, she was very attentive and professional. Any time I went to Winnie, I felt very comfortable and Monika was always very welcoming and remembered me and my family. I never had a bad experience here. The seamstress they have on site is also amazing, I could not have been happier with the end result, I LOVE my dress!

Looking back, I had a truly FANTASTIC wedding dress shopping experience and I have Winnie Couture to thank for that. Amanda was my consultant and I ended up purchasing two wedding gowns; one for the ceremony (Quintessa) and one for the reception (Rochelle). There was NO pressure to buy, NO pressure spend more.
Amanda never showed me anything over my budget, which I sincerely appreciated. She was also very discreet about the budget – they don’t make a big deal. My sister in law went to Kleinfelds and they were jerks, huffing over her budget telling her how small it was and what a challenge it would be. Not so at Winnie Couture. The only time they asked was on an info sheet and they never showed anything above that number. I felt appreciated and free to enjoy myself.
I was VERY impressed with the price of the gowns here – they are INSANELY well priced. People were positive I paid over $10k for my ceremony dress (it isn’t even close to that).
One great thing is that you are able to look at all the gowns and touch them; they are not in clear plastic wrap all sad looking. All the dresses are on display and they all have prices marked. Your guests can help you look, wander around the store, and pull dresses. It’s very, very fun and exactly how you picture wedding dress shopping will be. In addition – and this is something my bridesmaid pointed out – they have you in and out of dresses in seconds, which maximizes your time. My friend said it took her at least 20 mins to get from one dress to another. I was able to try on 6 dresses in that amount of time! I didn’t feel rushed and I was able to try on everything I wanted to. They don’t have an in-house tailor they make you go to, either, so you don’t have to pay crazy prices. They give you the info for a woman who is their ‘recommended’ tailor who has experience with their dresses, whom I did use. I just like that I had the option to go somewhere of MY choice and wasn’t forced to use an in-house tailor.
In the end, I had a great experience, bought two dresses and have nothing but good things to say about this store. It’s a wonderful experience for any bride.
Oh, and the best part – because they are constantly burning candles to make the store smell pretty – your dress actually smells pretty when you get it. I’m serious. My dresses smelled pretty!

First of all dress shopping for your wedding is nightmare when you don’t know what you are looking for…. I was completely clueless. Luckily the girls at Winnie Couture are experts. They are very professional and have so much knowledge about the product that they know exactly what silhouette fits what body type. Based off the little my stylist knew about me, she chose a few dresses that she figured would look great on me and that I might like. I actually loved them. The dresses she chose made my figure look great. She was an expert! My appointment was a breeze, it didn’t take me long to decide what dress I wanted. If I could have I would have purchased them all.

I found the perfect dress at Winnie Couture. It is the dress I always dreamed I’d walk down the aisle in. the beading was exquisite and all the ruching and draping faltered my curves. I felt both sexy and confident on my big day. The girls there are so friendly, they made me and my family feel so comfortable. They understood exactly what I was looking for and found a dress right away exactly as I described. I felt like I could rely on them which was extremely comforting because the entire wedding process could be super stressful. My dress purchase was probably the easiest and most enjoyable part of my wedding planning process. I couldn’t have done it without Winnie Couture. Thank you so much!

My experience shopping for my wedding gown was a bit hectic, it didn’t start off so great. I had to deal with super pushy sales girls, they kept saying every gown looked great, looked amazing, that it complimented my figure. I could see right through them, some of the gowns did look good but not that great and for them to tell every gown looked good, I knew they just wanted a sale. I wanted my experience to be something special. I kept researching online and then I came across Winnie Couture and see how close it is to my home so I call right away to make an appointment. I was blown away whe I walked inside, this boutique is to die for. The entire boutique is stunning, there is nothing that I didn’t like. It is absolutely gorgeous and you just feel the love as soon as you walk in. The staff was so friendly and so sweet. I meet my stylist and she gives this wonderful tour of the boutique that made me just fall in love with it even more, she was so knowledgeable. She worked with me the entire time, she gave me all of her attention but still managed to keep my party entertained. She was so much fun. what I really appreciated from her is that she was so honest, I knocked out so many dresses out that I thought I liked but in reality didn’t look all the great on me but she let me know her honest opinion and I took . Winnie Couture gave me the best experience. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I found my dream dress and it was easy. I walked out a happy girl, by far the best investment.

Beautiful dresses, lovely staff, and an all around great shopping experience! When I set out to look for the perfect wedding dress, I knew exactly what I wanted. After looking at photos online, I knew Winnie Couture was the designer that could create my dream dress. So I made the three hour drive from San Diego to Beverly Hills to find my dress. When I got to the salon, I was greeted by friendly staff, a private dressing room, and walls of dresses that were just my style. While there was one particular dress I had in mind, Monica helped me select and try on countless other dresses to make sure I found the right dress. They were all stunning, but as always, there was one clear choice - except that it didn't have one particular feature that I really wanted. Monica helped me customize the dress so it was exactly what I wanted, and patiently took my measurements. When the dress came in a few months later, it fit perfectly (no alternations needed) and was exactly what I envisioned. I still love my dress, even after the wedding!

My only negative feedback is that the boutique is a little date looking and could use a remodel. Pink suede furniture, tacky chandeliers, and chocolate shag rugs just don't do justice to the beautiful gowns in the salon.

I couldn’t find any dresses in the valley so I went over the hill and into Beverly Hills and I came across Winnie Couture so I walked in not knowing you need an appointment. They were so sweet and helped me out even though they were extremely busy that day. I got set up with a stylist and she was just the sweetest girl very welcoming and very knowledgeable. She gave my family and I a tour and she explained everything about the gowns, like the different silhouettes, the beading, fabrication. You walk around the boutique and it has a wonderful setting the décor is breath taking. Beautiful chandeliers all over. The fitting room area was just adorable. So after my tour we set our belongings down and start pulling gowns for me to try on. I wanted to try them all on but I knew that wouldn’t be a good idea and I definitely didn’t want to overwhelm myself. So my stylist pulled a few that she thought would compliment my figure. And she did a great job I loved the ones she chose for me way more than the ones I picked. I knew I could trust to help with my big decision; she talked me though everything helped me feel at ease. She was so patient with me, I kept asking her the same questions over and over and she still answered them all the time. She was great! After being at Winnie for awhile I found the dress I love the Temerance it was lace just how I wanted with minimal beading. It was perfect! Everyone at my wedding loved my dress. I got so many compliments on the design and quality of it. I couldn’t be any happier!

I found the perfect dress at Winnie Couture as a matter of fact I found the perfect everything, my shoes, veil and jewelry. It was a one stop shop, I couldn’t get myself to leave everything about Winnie Couture is absolutely gorgeous, the customer service, the décor with their beautiful chandeliers & the feminine colors throughout the walls, and I cant forget the amazing bridal gowns they are spectacular! Their gowns are great quality & very affordable & did I mention the beading on the gowns are swarvoski??? I fell in love with the Breckyn & I even got to customize it to make it even more special & unique for my special day. I cant believe I found my dress so soon my wedding isn’t until July of 2012 but I couldn’t resist I didn’t want to take the dress off. My experience at Winnie is so memorable my stylist was the best she was extremely helpful very patient & answered all my questions she helped me in and out of every dress and I had several in my fitting room. Winnie Couture Bridal Salon has saved my wedding dress nightmare, another store that shall not be named really messed up and I was without my dream dress 2 and 1/2 months to my wedding(I ordered my original one in October). My fiance called and spoke with the receptionist there and she was so nice, helpful and just plain amazing. I went in and everyone was so friendly and sympathetic. They got my dress rush ordered and it wasn't crazy expensive. I went from red, swollen crying eyes to happy in an instant. The store is great, beautiful selection and wonderful staff. I am so thankful to have gotten in contact with this store. They really turned a worst case scenario into a happy one. I even found the veil I wanted and ordered that too! My mother found a lovely dress for the wedding that she ordered. I could go on and on about this place because they really have made me feel great. If you are just starting to look for a dress do not make the mistake I did and go anywhere else, go here first! They will make you feel special and you will find the dress that make you feel beautiful!!!! I guarantee it!!

Winnie Couture was my first stop of the day and I'm so glad I found my dress there. As per their advice, I went and got a drink took a break to decide if this is it! It had been a really long appointment, 3 hrs!! But I am glad that I went back and took advantage of the same day purchase discount.
Really nice store, with honest and helpful staff. I found a style that I absolutely loved, except that I wanted something with more beading. The bridal stylist at Winnie Couture customized the dress the way that exactly what I wanted, add beading on the dress, changing skirt, 3 pts bustle and custom measurements. I just picked up my gown, and they did an AMAZING job. It is exactly what I wanted!!! It is so beautiful, and extremely elegant. They are really wonderful here. They really go above and beyond to make their brides happy. I definitely recommend this shop.

Amanda was great. She wasn't pushy at all when I walked into the store. She answered all of my questions in person, phone, and email. The dream dress even came in earlier than scheduled, which was awesome because I was able to get my dress altered in time for my wedding.

Winnie Couture helped me create the wedding dress of my dreams! I felt absolutely gorgeous in my dress and veil!! They were so very patient with me trying on several dresses & once I narrowed it down to 2 they were even more patient while I tried them both on again. I came back twice and never did they seem frustrated or impatient with me. They were honest in their opinions and they gave amazing input. Once I chose my dress, they were great and helpful with me adding changes to my dress & veil without missing a beat. Winnie Couture's dresses are all beautiful and detailed and unique and priceless. I really believe Winnie's dresses are worth more than the actual prices! Amanda assisted me to the very end and was amazing, patient and made everything painless and memorable for me. I judged every other bridal store and compared them to Winnie and most didn't meet their standards of customer service, class, atmosphere and selection. I highly recommend Winnie to all brides!

Winnie Couture made me feel like a perfect princess bride! My sales professional was so sweet and patient. The decore was lovely from the chandeliers to the bathroom and their gown assortment was beautiful and unique. They quoted me 6 months to receive my wedding gown and I got in 3 months. It was the perfect experience!

My dress from Winnie Couture was perfect! Amanda from Winnie Couture was extremely helpful during the entire dress-selection process. When my dress arrived, it did not need a single alteration - they had made it perfectly to my measurements. I think I got a fantastic dress for the price and I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day!

I love this store. The store is very beautiful and elegant. The staff is excellent. Not being the type of gal to read bridal magazines and visit the bridal websites, I had no idea that I was supposed to order my dress six months ago, for my wedding. Needless to say, I freaked out when one of my friends told me that.

I actually found them here on yelp and decided I might as well give them a call. They scheduled an appointment for me right away, and dealt with all my questions. I called the store a few times before my appointment. Each time I was greeted by a friendly staff member.

My appointment was with Rebecka. She was very knowledgeable and encouraged me to try on as many styles as I wanted. I told her my budget and she showed me a ton of dresses that were within the budget I gave her. T I think picked out 9 or 10 different dresses. When I tried on my third dress (Zeala) I knew that it was THE ONE! I didn't want to try on anything else. There was no pressure for me to keep looking or for me to buy something more expensive.

They do offer rush services for the dress delivery. The rush service is $80.00 for every month that they have to rush. Yes it's expensive, so girls get your dress first. My dress will be here on May 7th. I can't wait to wear it.

This is ABOSLUTLY worth your while!
Coming here, even though I ended up not buying my dress from here, MADE my wedding dress shopping the best it could've ever been!! Cristy was the amazing woman I got to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better consultant! She was very attentive to all of our needs! And oh do they have dresses to choose from!! It was a lot of fun and so glad I chose to come here! You won't regret it even if you don't end up finding your gown here, its still worth the shot

I bought my wedding dress from the Houston TX location and absolutely loved it! Laura Gomez, who is the store manager in Houston was extremely helpful and went the extra mile by going to multiple fittings with me to ensure that my dress fit perfect! I would highly recommend buying a dress from Winnie Couture!

Winnie Couture was by far the best bridal salon that I visited when shopping for my dress. It is exactly the experience you want to have when you are dress shopping. They welcome you and ask if you want champagne or something else to drink and the look of the store is just elegance and class. My bridal consultant was amazing. She pulled dresses within my budget and was kind and patient throughout the whole process. We narrowed it down to 3 looks and she put all the accessories on for each dress so that I could decide what kind of bride I wanted to be. When I was close to making my decision, no one pressured me. My consultant actually said, "if you need three hours to sit in this dress and decide, I'll be here." I'm pretty sure she meant it! Luckily for both of us, I didn't need much time to decide. I picked the perfect dress for me and it came in on time. The alterations went very well, but just remember to try and include them in your budget because I sort of forgot that and they did cause me to go a bit over budget on my dress. Alterations anywhere though are expensive and I wouldn't have trusted just anyone to do them, so I was willing to pay to get them done properly. The only thing is that the bustle for my dress kept unhooking while I was dancing at the reception. I don't know if it was the fault of the seamstress or just that my train was to heavy for the hook. Other than that, I loved my dress and it looked amazing. Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience there and I would highly recommend going there to get your wedding dress! They are wonderful!

I love the dresses at Winnie Couture! The staff was very helpful, sweet and overall great to work with. The salon is clean, cute and very girly. They were great at letting me try my dress on again for my in laws and were responsive via phone and email. The only hiccup I had was when quoted for alterations it was a LOT more than expected. I decided to take my dress to a seamstress outside of the salon who quoted me less than half of what Winnie Couture did! Overall the dress was beautiful and I do not have complaints but definitely be smart before letting the salon run over you with fees.

I Love, Love, Loved my Winnie Couture wedding dress! It was sexy, elegant, classic, regal - ALL in 1. To simply put it...I was wearing the dress; the dress wasn't wearing me! Winnie Couture dresses help to flatter and accentuate ANY problem or "proud" areas on your body. Her dresses are fabulous at amazzzzzing affordable prices. The Beverly Hills dress boutique is very chic, yet intimate. From my experiences, the ladies who work there have been very courteous, kind, and professional. Lots of one-on-one, personalized attention where you don't feel rushed and in an assembly line! (Important) Outside of my photographer and DJ, my dress and overall look was the biggest investment I made at my wedding. I do not regret it for a second. I am proud to say... feel, and be able to look at my wedding pictures 30 years from now and say, " I was a Beautiful Hott Bride"! (not trying to being conceited), it's just the truth. Her dresses are lovely, and the material, color, and fit is lovelier!!! Thank you Winnie Couture :-)

Winnie Was Wonderful, But Do Not Use Their Recommended Tailor Maria

Winnie on its own was certainly a 5 star experience. My interaction with them up until the dress was picked up was wonderful. The store itself had a good selection of beautiful styles, and the staff I worked with were very patient, helpful, and considerate as I worked through choosing my dress.

The reason for dropping this down to 3 stars was due to the very negative experience I had with the tailor (Maria of VIP Couture Bridal Alterations) they highly recommended. Going above a recommendation, without asking me they actually pre-coordinated that Maria to come to the bridal shop as I picked up my dress so she could perform the initial fitting there and take it back with her to begin working on it. I had trusted them up to this point, so continued to trust their insistence on working with Maria. Although Maria had 7 weeks, my dress never fit correctly, and the whole thing wasn’t completed until the night (10 pm drop off) before I left for my wedding. The delays and uncertainty caused me tremendous stress the week before my wedding, to the point that I was losing sleep and searching for backup dresses. My last fitting lasted over two hours because I had to stay and watch her finish the work. I believe she had taken on too many clients, and unfortunately, I ended up being the one who suffered for it.

I do definitely recommend Winnie Bridal as place to search for your dress, but do not recommend using their references for other services.

I went to about 5-6 bridal salons in LA and ended up getting my dress (and shoes!) at Winnie. They were so helpful and my dress was amazing. They also did the alterations for about $500. That was way more than it needed to be, and looking back I wish I would have gone to a reputable tailor instead. I went to Winnie for the alterations because they said that their alterations lady "knew" the dress. As it turns out she didn't know it that well and I had to go back three times to get it right. Alterations aside, I got a fantastic dress for a reasonable price and if I had to do it all over again I'd get the same dress :)

The Winnie Couture Salon is like walking into a dream. Honestly. It's visually stunning, comfortable, there's light music playing, and the salespeople are most like hostesses, offering you refreshments and doing whatever they can to make your dress buying process wonderful. I felt pampered from beginning to end, and the icing on the cake was when my dress arrived a month early!

The only cons of this salon is that their most stunning dresses are also a little "stunning" on your wallet. After alterations and custom measurements, you could be out of a little more money than you'd expected. But I was told I looked like a "dream", ironically enough. :) And there's no parking lot, so depending on what time/day it is, you might have to park a few blocks away. But this is quickly forgotten once you step into the store and it wraps its arms around you. Trust me, it will never let go. <3

Warning to future brides: don't buy the first dress that you try on because the store offers you a discount. That's what I did and I regret it! Winnie Couture was great. My dress was gorgeous. I just wish I would have first gone to a salon that carried many different designers. Amanda was my consultant. She was great except that she told me that I had to rush my dress six months before my wedding (the dress came three months early). Also know that alterations are made off-site. They recommend this darling lady in LA who does a great job, but it's just strange paying so much money for a dress and having to go to someone's apartment.

The store is absolutely gorgeous and the appointments went so well. My dress was perfect and fit like a glove when we picked it up. After 2 months of sitting in the Winnie Couture garment bag the store provided I pulled out the dress to show my bridesmaids. To my surprise the train looked like it had been dragged on the asfault. I don't know how it happened since it was clean in the store an sat in a bag untouched for 2 months but it was dirty! We rubbed the marks with a dry white cloth and everything cam out but what a scare! Don't use their brown garment bag, but use their store! The dresses are great.

The store is very nice, yet you cannot go in without being escorted and without an appointment. The staff switched over in the 6 months that I dealt with their shop, and each person tried to add extra costs to the dress or alterations previously worked out with the original sales associate. They don't really care about you, they just want your money. Get copies of everything, and save your paperwork!! The quality of the dress was very nice, and I do not mind to pay for quality fabrics and sewing. I would alert any bride looking to not get scammed when thinking about purchasing a dress from there.

Unpleasant and difficult to work with

I DO NOT recommend purchasing your dress from here and if you do, put your emotions aside and examine your gown from head to toe, seam to seam. Bring your seamstress to the shop with you if possible.

I purchased the Winslet dress in Nov 2021 and paid a 1 month rush fee of $234.45+tax. I received the dress in April and when I tried it on, I was ecstatic! I trusted the associates that all was fine so I took it home and started my search for a seamstress. I opted for the hollow to hem measurement so I was expecting to only take it in at the waist. The associates at the store also agreed that this is probably all I needed to do.

When I found one and she's super experienced by the way (15+ years working only on bridal gowns), the first thing she said to me when I tried on the unaltered dress for her was, "One side of your neckline is crooked." WHAT?! I looked where she was pointing and sure enough, it was crooked. My dress is a V-neck so the V needs to be perfect because it's basically the center of attention. I snapped a bunch of photos and compared it to the gown that I tried on in store when I bought the dress. There's definitely something wrong with my gown.

I immediately brought this to Rakhi Patel's (sales person at Winnie Couture in San Francisco) attention via text message with photos. She tried to assure me that it's because the dress is brand new and with some steaming and time and also, once it's altered to fit my body, the fabric will soften and the neckline will straighten out. This made no sense to me because why is the dress that I purchased brand new, not already in its perfect shape when it was handed to me? I understand that the sizing is incorrect, but it doesn't make sense that when it sits on the body, it'll be crooked.

After some back and forth, I consulted my seamstress again and she confirmed that it's not a fabric softness issue and that it's how the dress was sewn and even if she tried to fix it, it won't be perfect. At this point, imagine the frustration and the stress I'm going through. My wedding day is supposed to be perfect. The few things that I could plan for and also, one of the most important aspects of my wedding, which was my dress, has a possibility of NOT being perfect. This was unacceptable.

After some more back and forth, first, Winnie Couture said they would cover the alterations for the neckline and refund the rush fee. Eventually, Rakhi said she would send a new size 8 dress and they would cover the cost to alter it to be like my current dress. The new size 8 dress was delivered directly to my seamstress on May 21. I met the seamstress on May 24 to try on the new dress. The seamstress confirmed that the dress's neckline was also crooked on the new dress. She also confirmed that even if the dress was ok, it would take too much time and cost significantly more to alter it to be the same as my current dress. For this reason, I accepted the fact that I have to make do with the original dress that I was provided. Note, my wedding was on July 30. I was panicking because I wasn't sure if there'll be enough time to fix it the way I wanted it.

Since the original solution that Winnie Couture proposed didn't work and was going to cost the company much more, I requested that the entire cost of my dress alteration be covered instead. I also requested that the 1 month rush fee that I paid be refunded. Ultimately, Winnie Couture covered the full alteration cost of the dress, but REFUSED to refund the rush fee. Their argument was that the dress arrived on time. Yes, the dress arrived on time, BUT it wasn't PERFECT. If I paid for a product to arrive earlier, but it arrived with flaws, this doesn't mean it arrived earlier!! You sent me a bad apple on time, not the perfect one I bought.

It's been 4 months and I still haven't received my refund for the rush fee. I expected more from a brand like Winnie Couture.

Winnie Couture does not care about their brides!!!!!!!! I am very saddened to say that Winnie Couture made my wedding dress experience a disappointing venture. It started off very pleasant, and turned very ugly. Obviously when you are purchasing something that is of great cost everyone caters to you. I think that is what makes me so sad, when they were trying to get the sale they were so accomodating, but once the sale was completed the level of customer service plummeted. I am not here to ramble on and on about every little thing that was done that was not up to par. However any bride knows the stresses of getting married, and the last thing you want to be stressing about on your wedding day is your dress. My wedding day was filled with angst because I had to hire an emergency seamstress due to the fact that the seamstress at Winnie Couture could not properly fit my dress.

It was so shocking and disappointing because everything leading up to this was wonderful, Monika the sales rep was amazing, but when the dress couldn't be altered right they took no responsibility and put it on me; the bride. Even though it wasn't right I had to pay for everything or I would't be allowed to leave with the dress. So here I am 4 days before my wedding day with a dress that doesn't fit right, a bill for alterations of $500, and a designer who doesn't care about me. Thankfully a family friend is a seamstress in my hometown of Palm Springs and she took 48 hours to restructure my dress and delivered it to me on the DAY of my wedding. I spent $5000 on a dress that didn't even fit me right. I ended up spending a total of $1000 on alterations, and when I called Winnie Couture after the wedding they told me there was nothing they could do. They have the worst customer service skills once you have paid. They do not care about you, the only thing they truly care about is the sale. My dress was beautiful, but the stress that it created tampered with the beauty of the dress. For the money I spent I wish I went somewhere that cares about putting their brides before the sale.

I went to purchase a wedding dress the sales associate gave my family & I the feeling of racial profile, I am Native American/Hispanic. I am not the "norm" in Beverly Hills but I was expecting the same customer services as the other ladies, we were not treated the same way others in the store where treated. One sales associate made a remark saying "way waste your time when "they" are not going to buy anything" I was shocked but didn't want to ruin my day so I ignored her comment, the same associate was giving my family & I dirty looks while we were in the store trying on dresses, I have pictures that show her making faces at my family & I. This was supposed to be a special day for me & my family. When I told Ellie about this she apologized and said when I come in to pick up my dress she will have VIP room for me & my family along with champagne.I then told her that was not necessary that is the treatment we should have had in the first place. We felt so humiliated, insulted that in this day and age this is still happening Beware they just take your money and wish you good luck. None of the employees are on the same page.I went back in forth for days emailing finally got a response after my 3rd email. if you are not Caucasian with blue eyes and blonde hair this is not your store. It was a awful experience for my family and I. I did end up getting my dress here despite all the drama only because they would not refund my deposit. I was not satisfied with the customer services at this HIGH END store. THEY WILL GIVE YOU NOTHING BUT EXCUSES AND WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR FAILURE

Fellow Brides, do not go to Winnie Couture in Beverly Hill. Save yourself the stress, please. I came in 9 months ago with my mom (I got married in March 2012) and found my dream wedding gown. Amanda, the regional store manager was my Stylist. Because we were in BH, we felt fully confident we'd be treated with exceptional customer service and Amanda would be knowledgeable about wedding gown alterations, etc. Sadly, we were WRONG. Amanda measured me to a size 12 dress. She refused to re-measure me when I told her I am usually a size 6/8. She said, "it's better to go bigger so it's easier to make alterations". We thought it was strange but because she is the Regional Store Manager and works at the Flagship Store in Beverly Hills, we took her word for it and moved on.

8 months later (4 weeks before my wedding) my first fitting! I was excited until I put the dress on my body and the size 12 slipped off. My mom and I were in shock and turned pale! Amanda and the seamstress said "Don't worry. This is normal. All our brides need major alterations when their dress comes in". We were nervous but again, let Amanda lead. I was told everything would be fixed at the 2nd fitting. 3 weeks before my wedding,2nd fitting, the dress fit worse than the 1st fitting. The boob padding was huge, the skirt lining was not in the right place and was showing through, the belt was mangled and the back was too tight. Furthermore, Amanda WAS NOT present at the 2nd fitting. Again, I was told everything would be fixed during my 3rd fitting. When I returned the following weekend, the dress was a mess! It was tattered from all the work that has been done. The seamstress lifted my wedding gown skirt and started cutting the seams on my body!! When she did that, we had enough! We insisted a new dress be ordered and Amanda said it was not possible. She would not make an exception and showed no empathy. Furthermore, she did not admit that she measured me incorrectly. My fiancé ended up contacting the CEO, Chris, explaining the situation to him and I was able to get re-measured. Turns out, I am a true size 6. The CEO was not able to get my dress into the store until 4 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING. YIKES!!! Once it came in, Amanda gave me a hard time about showing up for my fitting. The seamstress was not present at my last fitting, 1 day before my wedding. The dress was gorgeous but the fit could have been better and so could have the customer service.
In short, I had a horrible experience at Winnie Couture in Beverly Hills. I told myself, I'd let people know about my experience not to be negative but to be informative.
