Kaylie was very accommodating and made this experience easy. She was very helpful with providing information and making sure nothing was missed. And the day of the event, staff was wonderful, food was great. I will definitely recommend. Rachel was also very professional and helpful as well.

The Marquette was our hotel for our wedding block, & as the bride & groom, we were given a corner suite as our ready room & wedding night room. Tessa & the team were easy to work with to reserve & modify our room block. The staff was incredibly thoughtful & helpful the day of our wedding. They were prompt delivering extra waters, a steamer, & bar stools to use for hair/makeup. Adding parking to our rooms & guest rooms was seamless. As a local, I had not had a reason to stay at The Marquette in the past, but now that we live out of state we will definitely stay here when we're home visiting!

Windows on Minnesota was a dream wedding venue. The views are spectacular, and bad weather won't ruin your day! We were lucky enough to have a clear, sunny day to fully enjoy the panoramic views, but going into my wedding without having to worry about a rainy day backup option gave me major peace of mind. The Marquette's team was also great to work with. They were helpful and communicative all throughout our planning process, and everything ran smoothly on the big day. The food was great, the bartenders were efficient, and everything went perfectly. They were also flexible and helped us to plan a multi-cultural fusion wedding, which was extremely important to us. Finally, having a hotel right there, across Crystal Court, made it smooth and easy for out of town guests to get to the wedding without needing to arrange special transportation. I can't imagine a better wedding venue.

First helpful hint-ask about the promotions they offer! We saved some money on a wine pour, get ready room, comp suite with parking and upgrade dance floor (white was so pretty!)

We had Amazing Wedding 10/15/2022 at Windows on Minnesota! Started the day with a get ready room prepared by the hotel and added on breakfast for the wedding party on the 3rd floor which was so spacious and made PERFECT get ready photos! Groomsmen used a suite to get ready in and we loved having our own spaces to keep the morning calm and special for all of us. Our ceremony was off site, but used Stars for a cocktail space for our 200 guests which had perfect views and LOVE the passed mushroom arancini appetizer!! My only recommendation is adding an extra bar (3rd bar for us) so the lines are not long for your guests.

Our reception was in Galaxy and the plated dinner options were truly amazing with our chosen options of Beef short ribs, asiago chicken, pesto salmon (thank you Chef Evan and Chef Mike for making this an option!) and the mushroom risotto! I continue to hear from our guests that each dinner and pear salad was so good! Special shout our to Angel in Engineering for helping us with a special request!

The banquet staff Michael, Diane, Melissa, Grace, Ricarda, Randy, Mohamud and Milton were so kind and accommodating to our guests. We brought in Sammy's Sweet Cupcakes which avoided the $5 per person cake cutting fee and loved each flavor.

Sydney, Sarah and Scott were awesome with all our details and set ups along with communicating and updates that occurred. my husband and I were very chill and organized during the planning process and I know they juggle so many events.

It was the best day ever and thank the events team for making so many details come to life and allowing us to be carefree and enjoy our day! -Nate and Kat

Had our wedding here last August. Amazing views of the city and the surrounding urban fabric from the tallest tower downtown. Kyle Heidelberger was a tremendous help setting up our big day and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. The food was INCREDIBLE and easily the best wedding meal I've ever had. If I got to pick my dinner again, I'd chose the Mushroom Risotto and I think most of our guests would concur. All around great experience.

Windows On Minnesota was such a stunning venue!! Not only were the views spectacular, but the staff was extremely organized, prompt in their responses, accommodating, and fabulous from start to finish. Kyle was especially helpful throughout making sure all details were attended to and nothing was missed! The dinner/bar service was amazing as well and everyone was very friendly. Our day was absolutely PERFECT and I would highly recommend Windows on Minnesota to every single bride and groom.

All I can say is WOW! The whole team and staff were so organized and on top of things I cannot say enough good things about them. They took away all the stress of my wedding weekend and I felt relaxed knowing that everything was being taken care of and the day running so smoothly. All the guests raved about how good the food was from apps to salads and meals. The views were so amazing and guests got to see sights of Minneapolis they have never seen before! It was so nice to have the hotel connected and so close to the event space and made everything less work. You wont regret going with this space!

He had an amazing experience with Kyle and the team at Windows on Minnesota. Kyle was always quick to respond even though he wasn’t in the office everyday due to COVID. The food was excellent. We had the short ribs, and the mahi mahi and it was delicious. Everything was perfect, and we would highly recommend using this venue for your wedding.

2020 Covid lockdowns created a lot of challenges, cancellations, heartbreaks and significant decrease in customer service across so many businesses, but NOT Windows-on-MN. This venue truly was 'celebration exceptional'. It has a stunning photographic location, beautiful/ elegant facilities with multiple venue options, and delicious variety of food/beverage options. Our wedding experience was absolutely positive for ourselves and our guests due to the excellent professionalism, flexibility and 'can-do' approach to making our event spectacular and flawlessly smooth. Particularly during CV19 lockdown, the ability for guests to stay local in the adjoining hotel space was a real benefit and staff interactions courteous/ professional/ friendly. Planning all the details was accomplished very effectively and responsiveness to last minute needs or changes was drama free and efficiently managed. Access to the planning staff seemed like almost having a full-time dedicated team catering to our needs and guiding us through the process. Top notch experience in every aspect from the big planning concepts down to the smallest detail such as which ornate napkin ring to use. Our experience was wonderful throughout every interaction point AND on top, all performed fully maintaining all CV19 safety protocols for personnel, facilities, supporting resources (quartet, DJ, photographer, etc).

I chose the location because it was downtown where I live and it has amazing views of the city. We had both the ceremony and reception in the grand ball room. We had the guests stay in the Marquette Hotel, which is chic and stylish. They gave us a suite for 2 days complimentary! Kyle was wonderful in the entire process from start to finish. We had our welcome party in the Jolliet Club. The tasting with the chief was amazing and articulate. We were very happy we chose this location for our special day!!

With so many options in the Minneapolis area for wedding venues, I could not be happier with my choice of Windows on Minnesota! They were amazing to work with and my guests could not stop taking in the views all night. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I am forever thankful for the crew there!

If you're looking for an elegant, modern and chic location to tie the knot, this is IT!! Venue was perfect. Literally perfect. Management was amazing and accommodating. The food was exceptional! Kyle H (director of catering/events) is a gem! Our wedding perfect and the venue had a lot to do with that!!!

I highly recommend Windows on Minnesota! From the accounting department, to the event staff and the wedding coordinator Kyle, everyone one amazing to work with! They were very flexible and understanding during our “covid” wedding, and kept us updated on all the moving pieces that were constantly changing. The views at the venue are breath taking, and most of guests have never seen Minneapolis from that view. The food was also outstanding, I can’t wait to go back on our anniversary for the risotto! 10/10 would recommend this venue!

Tina and her team were so easy to work with. The venue was beautiful, and if anything came up that needed to be addressed, they were all over it. The attentiveness up to our reception night was topnotch. The food was great and we were able to definitely put our touch on the night.

We had our wedding party/guests stay at the hotel and we also had our grooms dinner @ Windows on Minnesota on the 50th floor. Not only was the hotel and dinner quite luxurious for our guests, but the entire staff was incredible and more than accommodating. Thank you!

IDS TOWER & MARQUETTE HOTEL

We were blown away with how fantastic our Wedding Venue / Accommodations were!!! What a DREAM COME TRUE. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our entire experience and big weekend!

The Venue
Let’s talk about the obvious for starters! The 50th floor of the IDS tower is breathtaking in every way. If you have not gone up there to be whisked away by the stunning views of Minneapolis, you are missing out! That view alone eliminated our need for extra décor. Our guests were glued to the windows for most of the social hour! What a memorable experience! Our wedding will never be forgotten! The bathrooms are gorgeous and spacious (weird thing to say – but must be mentioned and everyone kept talking about it all night!) The detail in the wallpaper is so cool! We got to use lounge furniture around the floor since there were no other events close to or on our big day! So amazing to save money and hassle with rental furniture and our guests really appreciated the couches and comfy chairs throughout the cocktail hour and reception! We were able to use their (beautiful and comfortable) chairs, tables, basic linen and staging! They also include tabletop dining items (glassware, flatware, china etc)! Incredible deal package considering rentals and fees add up like crazy if you don’t already know this! They have a beautiful desk area and large closet for coat check and storage. We were able to store items in the closet and return the next day to take things home! How nice it was to have that task saved! Incredible.

The Jolliet House
We had our Rehearsal and Groom’s Dinner the night before as well. We are so thankful we did! We were able to access the ceremony space and rehearse and then we went downstairs to the 3rd floor in the Crystal Court for our dinner buffet in The Joliett House. The private dining room is gorgeous and warm. The red walls are comforting and the floor to ceiling windows let a lot of natural light in the room with views of the crystal court. The chandeliers, detail lighting – everything is beautiful. We arranged the table with our catering manager, and they took care of the centerpieces! I was not expecting anything more than a few tea light candles! OMG they set up the most adorable arrangement of large pillar candles and large lanterns with assorted candles! Beautiful touches that made us look like rock star planners but I made sure to tell everyone that those touches were purely on the shoulders of the amazing staff that we entrusted with the dinner! We also offered a cash bar and the pop up bar felt so fancy! We loved it! It was tucked in a corner and made us feel so V.I.P. The buffet was stunning and neat. The service was unmatched. We felt like celebrities! They were amazing and friendly with every encounter. We showed a photo slideshow and they quickly dimmed the lights and closed the curtains for us. They took all of the guesswork and annoyance out of adding this experience.

Food & Catering Staff
Let’s talk food – one of the main things that people remember from a wedding. We ate at the venue all weekend – 3 big meals total. ALL OF IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Every menu item, delicious and high quality! Not one item that I would change in any way. For the Groom’s dinner, we did the Italian buffet and we were not disappointed. Never had I tasted Salmon cooked and seasoned so perfectly before – I dream about it still. The salad was fresh, the dressings were house-made and delicious, and everything was clean and tidy. The veggies were perfectly cooked and not soggy or mushy. Additionally, my gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free bridesmaid was brought to near tears with her Groom’s Dinner meal that she was over-the-moon about. To top her great experience off, the catering staff approached her while everyone was enjoying their tiramisu, and quietly offered her a dessert of her own – some fresh fruit. She about died! SO amazing and thoughtful of them. This is what catering and service is all about! This is the high standard and bar that has been set here for all other catering teams.

Our wedding night food was also incredible. We went with their signature Marquette salad and asked for a few changes on the toppings. Easily done without hesitation/cost change and beautifully executed. Their champagne vinaigrette was a nice change up from the usual and was SO tasty and not too strong! We did appetizers passed by staff during the cocktail hour. Their jumbo poached shrimp. Don’t hesitate. Just get them. Thank me later. Out of this world! We offered vegetarian spring rolls and chicken skewers with thai peanut sauce too. Amazing – just amazing. For dinner, we offered the filet mignon, Dijon crusted salmon and chicken saltimbocca – all cooked perfectly, great portion sizes and very crowd-pleasing. Not too overdone but not rare. The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also offered late night snacks. Again, do this and thank me later. We chose the pizza, mini philly cheesesteak sandwiches (they were 2-bite sized and so adorable!) and parmesan French fries. Holy cow! So good! And hits the spot! Our guests about DIED when these came out as a surprise. They all were so good – and not just because we were tipsy! The pizza had a unique flavor and the philly sandwiches were state-fair quality! We also had guests join us for a post-wedding brunch buffet at the Jolliet House. Also incredible. It was $22/person with a huge variety of breakfast items/beverages. Everyone loved it! We were accommodated with a large table on the terrace, which makes you feel like you are outdoors!

Hotel
Our Bridal/Wedding Night hotel suite was perfect. It was spacious and open, clean, cozy and modern. Again, I am dork, but the wallpaper was also neat with Minneapolis details in the bedroom. We liked that little touch for out of town guests or people that don’t really stay downtown at all. The shower was so refreshing. The bathroom was large enough for myself, 5 bridesmaids running around and a flower girl! They even had a table top light up vanity mirror! There is a very large mirror in the bedroom we used to get ready too! There was nothing I would change about their hotel and rooms. I visited my mom and dad’s room, which was also spacious and beautiful. Stunning windows and view and cozy nook/bar next to the room entrance. Very nice touches. The bed and pillows were extra comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and blankets and they came super fast and they actually gave us what we wanted and more!! I was able to reach the front desk for a quick question the morning after (in rough shape) and I was greeted with a very sweet front desk receptionist that I spoke to the days before. She spoke softly and congratulated me by being the first to call me Mrs. Erickson! She even asked me how the night was! SO cute. Every detail, accommodation and staff member in the Marquette Hotel was friendly, genuine, detail oriented and helpful. They truly set the bar high and it will be difficult to go and stay anywhere else in the cities now. We cannot wait to return.

Kyle Heidelberger
Where do we start with reviewing and telling you about Kyle. The prior catering manager was replaced by Kyle and I got to speak to him on his first day! We immediately clicked and developed a wonderful working relationship. Kyle came in and took over like a champ. He’s personable, positive and funny! Kyle has a phenomenal resume and background with loads of experience in the catering and service industry, It was so nice to feel that he had complete control of our wedding day. He offered to meet us and go over things in person face to face, to make sure all notes on his end were accurate from the prior catering manager and we were thrilled about that! We met him over coffee and reviewed all of the details together. We even walked through the venue space again to get a good feel of little things left to decide and plan on. Kyle took notes and listened to every detail we communicated. Kyle never made us feel hurried or bothersome. He took time out of his weekend to meet us and talk things over. Nothing was left out or forgotten. I actually forgot a few things, and Kyle was there as our safety net to remind us! Kyle was so fun to communicate with! He replies to emails quickly, and answered all of our questions – even if we sent him a list of questions in one email!!! As we approached our big day, it was such a relief to have Kyle to help us. He made sure we got everything we wanted and made sure we were happy and accommodated in any way possible. He even went out of his way to pull strings and gather the staff needed in places to make sure that what we were previously promised, actually happened (we were promised a projector screen for our photo slideshow and Kyle made sure that we were able to show the slideshow on a giant tv monitor that actually ended up looking better!) . We were even lucky enough to have Kyle help us get into the 2 event rooms to set up our wedding on the Thursday before our Saturday wedding!! That is not common at all at venue spaces for weddings and that saved us all a TON of hassle and we were able to enjoy our wedding weekend without pains of setting up!!! While we brought our carts of stuff up to the 50th floor, we noticed all of the staff excited to see Kyle. You could see the positive working relationship amongst all levels of staff and that they really enjoy and respected Kyle, which speaks volumes of his attentiveness to all of the moving parts within an event and all of the people it takes to pulls off an event smoothly. That was great to see that. While we were running around and setting up things, we were approached by the staff who offered help and asked what else we needed. We never felt alone or overwhelmed in our sea of linens and centerpieces! It was a breeze and actually a lot of fun to set everything up! Kyle and his staff even sent a very nice handwritten card, bottle of champagne on ice and snacks to my bridal suite the night before the wedding and when we got back from the Groom’s dinner, it really made the night and hit the spot and we giggled over champagne to top the night off! Kyle always checked in on us to make sure everything was going alright and poked us to see if there was possibly anything else he could do or help us with. This guy is PURE GOLD. Don’t’ let him go, Marquette! :)

In summary:
EVERYTHING about our ENTIRE wedding weekend (July 19th -21st, 2019) was what dreams are made of. They exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable and helped us relax and enjoy the best weekend of our lives!!! Everything is there and you never need to step outside if you don’t want to! One stop shop style – couldn’t have been more relaxing! We thank each and every staff member there for making us feel like celebrities and treated us with the highest level of kindness, customer service, catering service, planning and coordination possible. We WILL be back and hopefully we can find an excuse to host another event here in the future! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! The best experience for Weddings in Minneapolis hands down!! Keep up the amazing work!! You are doing it right!!

Windows on Minnesota was the perfect wedding venue for our New Years Eve wedding. The venue itself makes a statement - 50th floor, downtown Minneapolis views, clean, centralized location, and comfortable accommodations. What set Windows on Minnesota above all other venues, for us, was the experience provided by Alyssa and her staff. Leading up to our big day, Alyssa was responsive, detailed and professional. She listened to us as a couple and brought our vision to life. On our wedding day, the staff were fantastic! Our guests loved the food and our vendors worked very well with Alyssa's team. Everything went off without a hitch! Thank you, Alyssa and team!

Having our wedding (August 2016) at Windows on Minnesota was amazing! The venue staff were outstanding, food was delicious and the view was nothing short of breathtaking! Most of our guests were from other parts of the country, and every single one of them raved about the views of Minneapolis they experienced while socializing, dining, and dancing during our wedding. We experienced a flash storm, a double rainbow and a gorgeous sunset that no other venue in the Twin Cities could have given us. It was such a beautiful and unique wedding that we, and all our guests, will remember forever!

The venue coordinator we worked with, Alyssa, was extremely professional, courteous, communicative, and resourceful. She was so knowledgeable and experienced at helping to plan weddings that we were able to have most of our questions and worries answered by her. In fact, we decided not to hire a wedding planner because we felt so much better after meeting her for the first time. She was able to help us save money in numerous ways that we did not even consider, and continuously assured us that we were doing well in our wedding planning process. Even on the day of, she helped take care of so many things that we were often not aware of, and ensured the wedding went just as planned. We couldn't have been happier with Windows on Minnesota or Alyssa.

My now husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about experience working with The Marquette Hotel and Windows on Minnesota. The venue and the views are breathtaking and from the moment we toured it we knew it was where we wanted to host our wedding. Melissa was amazing to work with cheerful, organized, professional and incredibly responsive. The hotel staff as well as the banquet staff working our wedding weekend were extremely attentive and accommodating. Our guests had an amazing time and we received many compliments about the space, the food and the overall experience. Windows made our Wedding Day truly magical and I would highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVED everything about windows. From the first step, all the way to wedding night, everything was absolutely perfect. Melissa was great to work with and helped everything to run smoothly. The view was OUTSTANDING and the food was to die for!

I had my wedding reception in March 2012 at Windows on Minnesota and it was more than I could have ever hoped for! Sally was wonderful to work with in planning the event. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with unbelievable views of Minneapolis for guests. The food was wonderful and the staff so great to work with! I highly recommend Windows on Minnesota for a fabulous wedding reception!

Perfect. I'm not sure of any other way to explain their service. I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else. The views were amazing, the staff was very perfessional and the food was so good. We also received many compliments from our guests on the quality of the food. Great taste and portion sizes. Our catering manager was always availible for us and helped us with every request. I'd highly recommend them.

Fabulous quality of service and professionalism. The food is a little spendy, but very tasty. The view from the 50th floor of the IDS will WOW your guests. A month after our wedding, people are still talking about the amazing venue.
