Sarah made our day special
Sarah did a fantastic job not only taking photos, but also helping us express the joy of the moment. My husband and I had a small elopement in the mountains of North GA. We knew we wanted to have some romantic nature photos, but didn’t know where to go. The week of the wedding Sarah found a gorgeous place on the Toccoa River. This turned out to be the perfect spot, and Sarah knew exactly what to do to get some beautiful photos. She kept the pace going while still letting us do our own thing. She stepped in where needed, even outside of the scope of photography (helping me with my bustle, holding my flowers, fixing my husband’s tie). And she made the whole thing fun and exciting, which really made it a moment to remember! If you want a day worth capturing, I highly recommend Willow Wind Photography. -

Sarah was wonderful to work with. Her experience with weddings was such a comfort for me as this was my first daughter getting married. She knew all the right shots to get, and gave all of our guests a warm inviting experience. To be honest you sometimes never knew she was there getting these amazing shots. As a couple who very much dislikes getting their photo taken, Sarah was a dream come true. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She helped me put my shoes on. She gave me snacks and a drink when I started to feel faint in the heat. She was extremely efficient, calm and kind. We could not have asked for a better photographer on our wedding day. We are in love with our photos and it's all because of Sarah. We highly recommend her to anyone and everyone who wants a great experience and amazing photos. Thank you Sarah! -

Her packages are a great deal and she made absolute sure before we sent her home the night of the wedding that we got all of the shots we wanted. Sarah was absolutely fantasic! She was great to work with from day one, very professional and helpful, and super sweet. She was patient with me as I figured out what I wanted for our wedding, and offered her advice when asked. She always responded within 24 hours and was really easy to work with. On the day of she was never intrusive but still managed to capture some really personal moments. The photos came out absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations! She really went way above and beyond and was so helpful doing things like pinning on boutonniers and buttoning up my train. She even held my daughter for a second so I could eat, lol, and stayed a few minutes longer so that we could get some photos as the sun was setting. She really made our wedding day perfect and she was lovely to work with, I can't recommend her highly enough! On top of everything she was able to get photos to us just a few weeks after our wedding date, and prints were delivered only a few days after ordering. -

I cannot say enough glowing things about Sarah! She is professional, creative, kind, easy to get along with, and a genuinely lovely person. Not only are my engagement and wedding photos gorgeous (! coming from someone who hates all photos of themselves...), but she even got my stiff husband to loosen up and enjoy the photo experience! She seemed to "get" my family and helped make the photography feel seamless and not too "fussy" and captured our personalities. She also was a great sport when I included my parents in our engagement photos as a surprise. We got married at Willow Falls outside Blue Ridge; she captured the vibrant fall colors and sun gleaming off the lake perfectly - I swear the pictures look like they are from a movie!
On the day of the wedding we discovered that Sarah was very close with the now deceased grandparents of my best friend. Having that special connection undoubtedly made the whole experience even more amazing and personable.
Thank you, Sarah, for helping me and Nick have the perfect day! I can't recommend her enough! -

Working with Sarah was an absolute dream. Not only did she accommodate our small elopement, but she helped me with advise and reassurance along the way. She made our date an absolute breeze and relieved so much of my stress by providing support and direction when I needed it most. She was also very accommodating of our 2 rambunctious pups which meant so much to me! Not to mention, she was so quick getting the photos back to us and they are GORGEOUS! Best photographer for people who don't like their photos taken;
She is a miracle worker in my book! Such a sweet person, and willing to do more than snap a photo. My husband and I hate our photos being taken, and we told her that. She managed to make us feel comfortable, despite being in front of a lens for hours. She got so many amazing photos of our day, and I could not be more thankful! I never thought I'd be able to like seeing myself in photos so much, but somehow she pulled it off! -

I love our photos and Sarah! From the beginning, Sarah’s friendliness and calm manner gave us all the confidence we needed to relax and be ourselves. It was a last minute decision to hire a photographer for our Blue Ridge vacation, but I am so glad we did. She was able to squeeze us in during the holidays and even came right to our cabin. Sarah was able to effortlessly capture our personalities and the beauty of our trip. We will now be able to look back on those memories and mom (I) will actually be in the pictures. She gave us so many wonderful photos to choose from at an amazing price! We will not hesitate to use her again in the future. Thank you so much! -

Sarah did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She was flawless, professional, and just perfect. I cannot say enough good things about her. My husband and I chose not to hire a wedding planner, so on the day of our wedding, Sarah literally, behind the scenes, kept everything moving smoothly. Truly, my wedding day would not have been the same without her! I had not been to many weddings or been a part of any weddings to know the process, so I was totally clueless. She would stop and check on me frequently... "do you need any water? snacks?" She made sure I had everything I needed and when I didn't even know I needed it.
Anyway, our pictures turned out AMAZING. We have been married over a year now, and I still catch myself scrolling back through all the memories of that day.
This is not only the best day of your life, but it's also the busiest! So pick a great photographer... stop what you are doing and book Sarah! I promise, you will have no regrets! -

Fantastic!
Sarah did a fantastic job! It rained the beginning of my wedding day and made everywhere I wanted a picture wet... But she was resourceful and had some blankets to put on the ground so my dress would not get dirty. She had great ideas to make the pictures unique and she was cheerful the whole time. The pictures turned out gorgeous! I highly recommend Willow Wind! -

A truly wonderful experience
Sarah was incredibly easy to work with. I really wanted a low key low stress wedding but it was important to me to have beautiful pictures that really captured the day. I was so happy with the pictures!! I really didn’t have anything specific that I wanted or any ideas of how they should look so I was very happy that Sarah new exactly what to do. She gave us direction on where to go and where to stand and the pictures came out beautifully. I was very appreciative of her guidance, help and her professionalism. -

Sarah will be the best person you have at your wedding!
Sarah was *the* best decision we made for our wedding. We were married in June 2020, in the midst of Covid season and while there were hundreds of unforseen difficulties we had to work through, Sarah was always so positive and never batted an eye at all the changes we had to make.
On the wedding day, she was there on time, stayed until my husband and I left the venue, and was so nice to me and my family. We had already decided to give her 5 stars before we ever even saw our pictures. And they turned out absolutely beautiful!! We were still on our honeymoon when she sent all our pictures to us (I know many brides have had to wait nearly a month for their photos) and I couldn't have been happier with the quality.
We talked to 4 other photographers in the area before deciding on Willow Wind Photography; we chose Sarah because she was by far the most straight forward, "you get this for this price;" all the other photographers we spoke to charged hourly, then charged per edited photo, charged extra to remove their watermark, etc. It was impossible to get a firm price from anyone except Sarah. We so appreciated the straight forward pricing at Willow Wind Photography because it made our planning and budgeting easier.
If you're here and looking for a photographer, stop looking and just call Sarah. Seriously. You'll never regret it. -

We did a newborn Photoshoot at her studio in her home and portraits that she came to our house for. The pictures are great no complaints at the pictures. I wish she had gotten one or two pictures of the portraits that included my shoes because they were really cute. She was very patient while my newborn cried a lot and we couldn’t get any pictures during the Newborn Photoshoot which was great. Her studio is set up in her house and her young sons were not there and interrupting us or anything and her husband who is a local police officer came in once and was very brief and didn’t talk much. She went right back to taking photos immediately after he left. The pictures I received were quite a lot and she got many different angles and they are obviously very professional and she is skilled. Some things with photos require training and equipment and she obviously has both and is not an amateur. She gave me lots of patience with my newborn (then a 5 year old) during the portraits also and family dog. She is a great choice! -
