Exceptional Service and Dream Wedding Florals by Willow & Thistle

I recently had the pleasure of working with Willow & Thistle Floral and Event Design for my wedding, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Kim and Jen were incredibly helpful, guiding us through every aspect of our floral and decor needs, from corsages and bouquets to ceremony decor, lounge setups, centerpieces, tableware rentals, and much more.

The booking and consultation process was smooth and easy. Kim and Jen took the time to walk us through every detail and worked with our budget, ensuring we got exactly what we wanted without any stress. A special touch that I absolutely loved was when Kim sent me my bouquet the day before the wedding as a small preview. The photos did not do it justice! I was overjoyed with my bouquet, as well as the bridesmaids' smaller versions and the groomsmen's boutonnieres.

The reception was an absolute dream. If you want to create an enchanting and dreamy ambiance, I highly recommend requesting the wisteria, bistro lighting, and tall candles! Our guests were completely in awe and are still raving about how beautiful everything looked. The florals and decor turned out far better than I could have imagined. The lounge setting created a swanky vibe that was perfect for couple's photos, and our final photo of the night featuring their LOVE sign was the perfect way to end the best day of our lives.

Willow & Thistle's team truly brought the wow factor that made our wedding day extraordinary. Their attention to detail, creativity, and dedication to making our vision come to life were unparalleled. Simply stunning

We used W&T for our reception design and upgrade of our chairs. So helpful in making our decisions to make the wedding a beautiful space. Emails were responded to in a timely manner, questions were answered with the utmost of knowledge. Comments from our guests was our space was just amazingly decorated.

Above and Beyond!!!

You can’t go wrong with Willow and Thistle. They did such an amazing job with our June 2, 2023 wedding, we were just blown away. They worked with us on price and got us to where we were comfortable, and then delivered quality above and beyond what we were expecting! Just so so happy with how all of our florals turned out, from my bouquet to my bridesmaid bouquets to all the flowers for the ceremony and reception! Just a beautiful job all around and i’m so glad I went with them!

Amazing experience!!!

We could not recommend Willow and Thistle enough to provide the most beautiful flowers for your special day! I worked with Jill and Kim throughout the process and they promised to make our wedding magical and they absolutely did! Our bouquets, boutonnières, center pieces, arch, and additional pieces were all that we imagined and more! Kim and Jill were extremely professional, communicative, and compassionate the entire process. They both offered their advice and expertise and made sure to stay within my budget. When I forgot to add pieces to the contract closer to the wedding, they went out of their way to add these pieces and bring them to life. I was absolutely in love with all of my flowers for our wedding and could not have asked to work with nicer, more professional florists. Both Kim and Jill connected with our family and made us feel special from the moment we met them, through the process, and especially on my wedding day. Kim even brought a bouquet of flowers from my husband and hand delivered them to my room. It was going above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for! If you are looking for beautiful flowers from experts who know the venue, you found the right one! I also rented the gold chairs for my reception and they made it a super smooth process to add them to the contract! Jen, Steve, and the team at Willow And Thistle did an amazing job of making our big day look absolutely stunning. They were so helpful and kind throughout the entire planning process with using the decor that we already had and combining it with their expertise and flowers to share our vision. Every detail was perfect and eloquently captured the aesthetic we were going for. I couldn’t have imagined it being any more beautiful!

Wonderful Florist!

We got married on 10/22/21 and used Willow and Thistle as the on site florist at The Belle. They were wonderful! Steve was so responsive, creative and friendly. He was able to stick to our budget and give us beautiful personal flowers, centerpieces and arch decor. Highly recommend!

Creative Genius

Steve was absolutely incredible. My vision was moody autumn florals, and he brought it to life. I told him I wanted my bouquet to be looser, not to prim and circular, and he gave me a gardenesque delight. My vision for the centerpieces I had difficulty articulating; I had brought him glass and velvet pumpkins and essentially just said to throw some flowers around them. Well he took this limited description and made the centerpieces stunning. His office manager Jen was also wonderful to work with, and made the final details meeting a breeze.

Best vendor of the entire wedding

Willow & Thistle was by far my favorite vendor that we worked with. They were super responsive and incredibly easy to work with. Jen sent me a photo of my bouquet a couple days ahead of time so I could let her know my thoughts and she was able to make a small tweak that made it perfect. I looked up and met with several vendors before selecting a florist and decided on Willow & Thistle based on their price, vision, reviews, and experience. I was thrilled that we were able to rent so many centerpieces like candles, vases, & lanterns— that saved us a bit of money and we weren’t left with items that we wouldn’t use again! I’ve had several friends ask where we got our centerpiece items and who our florist was— I think that says the most about how it all turned out!

Our flowers

We hired Willow and thistle for our wedding day flowers. I had a vision and they brought it to life for me. When I walked into our room I was blown away with how beautiful everything looked. My boutique was everything I wanted and more. I would highly recommend them for your wedding day!

Amazing to work with

We used Willow & Thistle for our centerpieces, our ceremony arch floral spray, and boutonnieres. At our appointment went over what we were looking for in our centerpieces and overall look. We ended up with the perfect centerpieces for our wedding.

We ended up having to change our wedding date twice due to COVID and Willow & Thistle worked with us every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for a better florist.

Floral dream come true

We love Willow & Thistle! Steve held our initial ideas/thoughts conversation, then we worked with Jennifer for the details as we got closer to the day of. They were both prompt with their responses, kind, and incredibly helpful! Jennifer made sure to send pictures of the bouquets over to me a few days prior for approval. They were gorgeous & perfectly captured the garden-esque style I was hoping for. We got 13 adult boutonnières, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, 4 wristlets, loose flowers for the cake, petals, flowers for an arch, 9ish centerpieces, & 2 ring bearer boutonnières. They truly made our floral dreams come true!

Excellent to work with!

I cannot say enough good things about Willow & thistle and especially Jen! Jen is incredible! Our original wedding was canceled because of COVID-19 but we wanted to still get married and use W&T for flowers. Jen was so patient with me, flexible, and answered all of my questions. She was able to accommodate every change we needed. I am so appreciative of her professionalism and kindness. Now, the flowers themselves were gorgeous! I absolutely loved the bouquets and cake flowers we received! They held up very well too!

Gorgeous florals!

W&T were fantastic! Steve helped my mom and I at our initial consultation. He helped gear us towards the right flowers for the season and went over various types of center pieces to use based off of my preferences. Jen was amazing and so kind. She was great at communicating with me throughout the whole process and even sent me a "sneak peak' of the bouquets for me and my girls. Customer service was amazing and they really know how to make a wedding come to live. I couldnt have been more impressed. I highly recommend Willow and Thistle if you want a florist who really cares and wants to make your day special

Amazing florist!

A friend recommended Willow & Thistle to us and I could not be happier with our choice. Upon meeting Steve for our consultation he immediately listened to our style & vision and did a mock up of the centerpiece right there on the spot. It was perfect!! Picture perfect!

Willow & Thistle's flowers and centerpieces were everything we wanted. The centerpieces matched our rustic venue perfectly - lanterns, burlap/wood numbers, and tons of greenery! We got a lot of compliments on the seating chart from W&T as well - a large door with names on the windowpanes. We highly recommend them!

Beautiful Flowers

Wow! Willow & Thistle really rocked my wedding flowers. They were exactly what I envisioned. We first met with Steve to get an idea price wise and feel out everything. Steve was super friendly and knew the exact vision I was going for. After we met with Steve we worked with Jen through the rest of the process and she was AMAZING. When we met with her my vision changed slightly which was no problem for them at all. I showed Jen a flower I really liked and told her I wanted some eucalyptus and she was able to match other flowers to it to make exactly what I was looking for. Jen was so friendly and you could tell she really knew what she was doing. She would show us the different flowers she was thinking would go with what I had in mind and every flower was spot on. She replyed to all my emails in a timely manner and was able to take and add everything necessary to the contract.

A few days before the wedding Jen sent over a picture of the flowers and I was in love. I was a little nervous about the size, which I did discuss with Jen, and they were perfect. Day of went really smoothly, flowers were delivered and where they were suppose to be on time.

The one thing that unfortunately didn't go as planned was the decoration of my sweetheart table. We were suppose to have eucalyptus leaves and a Mr. and Mrs. sign we rented from Willow & Thistle, but unfortunately neither of them were there. Luckily, we moved my cermoney inside and we were able to use some of the decoration from the cermoney at our sweetheart table which worked out really well. I actually didn't notice day of due to the crazy amount of things going on. When I realized the next day, I reached out to Jen and she looked into what happened and offered me a refund immediately. Which was a very professional way to handle the situation and I was very happy with. Like I said I didn't notice day of and was so happy with the rest of the flowers!

I would reccomend Willow & Thistle to anyone looking for a florist, especially if your wedding is at Normandy Farm. It made it super convenient both of them being right there, considering whenever I was coming for a meeting I was driving 45 mins. I was always able to make the meetings work the same day, so I didn't need to take two trips. It also made me feel more comfortable day of knowing they were right there if I need them!

The most beautiful florals

The most beautiful floral arrangements!!! I was so pleased with my arrangement on my wedding day. Steve was great and everything was exactly as we planned. the most gorgeous wedding flowers

It was truly a pleasure working with Willow & Thistle for the florals for our wedding. During our initial planning meeting, Steve took what I was trying to say and was able to bring my words to life. We changed the table layout about a month before the wedding and W&T easily adapted and delivered exactly what I wanted! In the days leading up to our wedding, the staff at W&T actually texted me pictures of the bouquets to make sure that they were everything that I wanted. I am still completely in love with my bridal bouquet! The flowers were all fresh and beautifully arranged. I'm still getting compliments on my bouquets and centerpieces!

The absolute best!

I cannot express enough how amazing this studio is. I worked with them for about 2 years during my planning process and from start to finish they were so easy to work with. Steve and I initially started the process of going through my colors (I had 8 bridesmaids wearing 8 different colors!) and trying to find the happy medium of floral options that would both stand out but not be overwhelming with all my colors. I have to say, he nailed it! After we went through those general ideas, I was passed along to Jen who seriously held my hand through everything! She was prompt, helpful, and was constantly sending me revised invoices!! Patti handled our day-of floral arrangements and nailed exactly the look we were going for. We also had a sneak peak at our bouquets 2 days before the wedding and I was able to make some small tweaks I wanted, which seriously made me not even have to worry about the day of! I cannot thank them enough for seriously nailing the look I was going for (and pictures to prove it). Thank you!

Great Florists

Willow and Thistle was a great florist. Once we met with Steve, we knew we wanted to work with them. They were really understanding of our budget – which wasn’t that high for flowers – and came up with ideas that were both cost-effective and beautiful. They made me a stunning flower crown that needed to be picked up before all the other flowers were delivered, and they were really helpful and understanding in arranging that, even though it was extra work for them. The flowers were, of course, beautiful, and they communicated their plans for our wedding clearly and consistently. Willow and Thistle was easy to work with, honest, and produced exceptional flowers for our wedding. We recommend them highly.

Above and Beyond

My wedding was in March 2019. I met with Steve (the owner) for my first consultation. I don't know much about flowers so I had a hard time explaining what I wanted. Steve did his absolute best to show me flowers, describe things, show me photos, etc. He was so timely in sending me a quote and the whole staff was great when I had to reach out to them to make a payment or ask a question. 2 days before the wedding I was in shock when I saw a preview of a bouquet that looked nothing like I envisioned (beautiful, but not my style) and I realized there was a big miscommunication - I don't believe it was W&T/Steve's fault at all, probably more mine for having no clue what I was talking about! The quote DID match the bouquet created perfectly. I explained my misunderstanding and told Steve I understand if no changes could be made that close to the wedding, but I was upset. I didn't expect anything. To my surprise, Steve and his staff recreated ALL of my bouquets and flowers and even texted me photos of every single item for my approval. They were SO wonderful, kind, and triple checked EVERYTHING with me. The day of my wedding, I actually cried because the flowers were exactly what I had pictured!!! I would 100,000,000% use them again for any event, and I highly recommend them. So professional, kind, and flexible. They did so much more than they "had to" for me and that really is appreciated!

Absolutely Stunning!

Working with Willow & Thistle was an absolute dream! When we started talking to florists, I had an idea of what I wanted (greenery and candles for a winter wedding) but I wasn't quite able to visualize how it would turn out. In our first meeting, Steve immediately started grabbing similar materials available in the shop and lighting candles on the table to show us how it would look. We immediately knew we could trust Willow & Thistle to make our venue absolutely stunning and they far exceeded our expectations! From the bouquets, to the boutonnieres and moms corsages, all of the personal flowers were absolutely stunning. They even made a flower 'wand' for our 7 year old flower girl that made her feel like one of the big girls and she absolutely loved! The tables were lovely, the sweetheart table was perfectly done and they used the leftover greenery to highlight the mantle. The entire event was absolutely stunning and we truly appreciate all of the hard work that everyone at Willow & Thistle put into our day! Everyone was so easy to work with, friendly, and helpful. I couldn't imagine booking any other florist to bring my wedding vision to life!

A great experience and beautiful flowers!

After meeting in-person with Jen she helped to write-up a proposal within our budget. I was easily able to make some changes that helped with my vision of what I wanted out of the flowers. The W&T team did a great job bringing this vision to life. My bouquet was ready early and I was able to see it in advance, Jen even texted me the final product the night before so I can see it and make any changes I'd like. However, no change was necessary, they did a WONDERFUL job with the flowers and the team was so lovely to work with. I've already recommended them to a friend for her wedding this spring and could not recommend them more highly!!

So Lucky to Have Found Willow & Thistle

I could not recommend Steve, Jill and their entire team at Willow and Thistle more highly. Having just worked with them on my daughter's wedding, I can say that they, their flower arrangements and their props exceeded my expectations, and, most importantly, my daughter could not have been happier with everything they did. This is a very creative team that is so much fun to work with. They are just as happy to collaborate or take the reigns. We are so pleased with our experience with Willow & Thistle. At our first meeting last year, Steve helped us turn a few vague ideas into a put-together vision, and that vision became an absolutely beautiful reality on our wedding day this past July. We consistently had great communication with the team, and could not be happier with the way everything turned out. We got married at Normandy Farm, so working with Willow & Thistle was an easy decision--especially since they know the venue so well. I was a little nervous about the bright colors we had picked, but receiving photos of the flowers from Jen a few days prior to the wedding put my mind at ease. The bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and flowers for the ceremony were all perfect. Highly recommend to any couple planning a wedding in the area!

Willow & Thistle was one of my favorite vendors to work with during this whole process. They were very talented, upfront, honest and willing to work with me as a bride on a budget. Willow & Thistle basically gave us a break down of options, we were able to provide how much we wanted to pay and they fit the flowers into out budget. They had a few check-up phone calls leading up to the date which was a great comfort to me. Since we were getting married at Normandy, we also were able to get free uplighting in our venue which added an amazing aura to the space. Lastly, Jen sent me photos of my bouquets the day before to show me how things were coming along. That was a really cool touch! My flowers and centerpieces were gorgeous and my bouquet is still sitting in my vase on my coffee table as I write this! Totally recommend Willow & Thistle for any brides!

Our first meeting with Steve we gave budget and he told us what would work or not, gave ideas how to save money, buys our own vases and rocks. Many emails later we had a plan and they executed my garden vision. Along with our flowers and décor we got an officiant too! Steve was amazing! Willow & Thistle - specifically Jen & Steve - provided our flowers for our October 7, 2017 wedding. We cannot say enough good things about their professionalism, responsiveness, the value, and the sheer beauty of their arrangements. Our flowers were gorgeous and we received so many compliments on them. We stuck with very seasonable colors and they really popped in the professional pictures. Our centerpieces were very simple but elegant. They did everything we asked for when it came to personal flowers, centerpieces, altar arrangements, cake decor, etc. and used some very sentimental, personal pieces to incorporate into our designs. Overall we give 5+ stars and highly recommend using W&T!

Willow & Thistle did an absolutely stunning job at our wedding this past weekend. The decor was absolutely stunning from the centerpieces, to the rose petal & candle lit aisle that I walked down. Our sweetheart table was everything that I had imagined and more. Steve really brought all of my ideas to life. Bless Jen and Steve for putting up with me over 26 months of planning my wedding. I'm one of those with a very specific vision and a Pinterest board to match. So needless to say, I was emailing them with countless details and many changes to the original proposal that was made nearly 2 years before my wedding. They were always wonderful about the changes and very accommodating, and always seemed to understand exactly what I meant. Not only were the florals beautiful, but they also flawlessly set up the rest of the antique materials I had dropped off for them. And don't get me started on the cake! The flowers on the cake were more than I could have hoped for. I don't have a professional photo of that yet but my friend managed to snap a decent one. When it came down to wedding week and they were sending preview photos of the bouquets, they were so easy to work with on making final little tweaks and perfecting everything. I would absolutely recommend them to Philly area brides!

Willow & Thistle was our florist for our recent wedding and we were so happy with them. They were able to work with our budget (under 2,000) and help us choose bouquets and centerpieces that fit within that budget. I was SO happy when I saw the bouquets on the morning of our wedding. They were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Planning and communication were very easy - I would definitely recommend using this florist, especially to Normandy Farm brides. You can't beat the convenience of an on-sight florist/decorator.

We used Willow & Thistle for our chair rentals, uplighting, other miscellaneous rentals (wine barrels, AMAZING flower wall), and for our flowers. They were so amazing from beginning to end. Everyone we worked with was so helpful and kind. They were very flexible when I wanted to add or remove rentals and when I wanted to make adjustments to our flowers after seeing them. My only complaint is my own fault because I was not more explicit about a flower that I did not wanted added to any of the arrangements. Overall, HIGHLY recommend.

When I replied to Jen that everything looked good but just noted that I wanted things to lean towards bold, she made some wonderful suggestions to the existing preferences and it turned out perfect!! The flowers for our daughter's wedding were gorgeous. I'm still looking at her beautiful bouquet and am amazed that Steve was able to include a rose that matched the bridesmaid dresses exactly. We hired Willow and Thistle to provide our personal flowers and decorate our venue (centerpieces and arch flowers). After our first meeting with Steve, the director, our worries were diminished. We spent an hour discussing ideas, reviewing pinterest, and magazine clippings. We were absolutely relieved and entrusted in his suggestions for floral colors and theme to flow and not clash. Our flowers matched our rustic theme perfectly, in addition to our save the date magnets, and invitations. We would definitely recommend their services. Additionally, we received a discount, for using their services, as we had our wedding at the Normandy Farm venue.

Superb! Best Ever! W&T are wedding florist pros. It's what they do...and let me say, there is no one better! I filled out the email contact form on their site & got a reply the next day. Re: communication, they’re spot on! You’ll get all calls & emails returned in lightning speed. You will never feel ignored, rather you will always feel like their top priority. Speaking of which, Steve (owner) is incredible. My husband and I work until 5pm nowhere near Blue Bell and he was so accommodating to meet us in the evening at the office. As for price, the quote was exactly within our budget. Nothing makes you happier when planning a wedding than sticking to your budget. Steve understood our whole vision even though all I verbalized was "garden-esque". Steve and his team help us design the centerpieces, the arrangements for the ceremony, where to splurge & where to cut back...my husband & I LOVED everything! I truly believe W&T gave us floral that looked like it costs ten times what we spent. W&T knows flowers, what's do-able and how to make the most of everything! On “the day”, they were so sweet. Steve was there with his team making sure all was done right. Plus, my MoH and I could not figure out who got which boutonniere and they took care of everything...getting every man looking awesome. In addition, we had a lot of changes due to an unexpected family illness and W&T worked with us through everything. My husband and I, and all our guests thought the venue (same for ceremony and reception) looked stunning. I have always loved flowers so this was an important part of our wedding day! From the first meeting with Steven everything was so easy! I showed him a few pictures and discussed ideas and everything was PERFECT the day of our wedding!
Someone who works at the venue even stopped me before our ceremony to tell me they normally don't compliment things, but our ceremony set up was one of the prettiest she had ever seen there. ...whether that is true or not, I'll take it - because it was absolutely incredible!

Willow & Thistle were a life saver!
My mom and I originally planned to do all of the flowers ourselves. We even took a wedding floral workshop about 6 months before the wedding. It was eye-opening, and we quickly realized how stressful it would be for us to do the flowers alone. Thankfully, Willow & Thistle were available for our wedding.
We met with Steve and I showed him the various ideas I had along with the general style I was after. He had great ideas, and even put together a sample table during our consultation. I was so relieved and excited that he knew exactly what my husband and I were after. He was able to calculate how many candles, pumpkins, and other accessories we would need per table. All we had to do was provide those items, and his team set all of the tables up along with the floral arrangements the day of the wedding.
Walking out into the ceremony and reception space prior the wedding was breath-taking. Willow & Thistle did an AMAZING job setting everything up in such a short timespan. It could not have looked better.
We can't thank them enough for the work they did, and we would highly recommend them!

Conveniently located in Normandy Farm, we found out about Willow & Thistle's services after booking our reception with The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant. I am so, so glad I used Willow & Thistle for my wedding at the Lake House Inn. From the moment I went into the studio to meet Steve and look at pictures, I knew they were the company I wanted. First, Steve was incredible through the entire design and planning process. He was so accommodating and took all the pictures and ideas I had. I am a little type A and emailed Steve several times, and he responded immediately. And the final product was even more beautiful than I could have imagined: the centerpieces were incredible, and my bouquet was literally the most beautiful arrangement I had ever seen (they put brooches, lace, and pearls in it as I requested). I had several people at the wedding ask me who did my flowers because they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they had ever seen! Willow and Thistle did an awesome job at our wedding! I had a ton of questions and a million emails and they were very prompt in responding and were able to accommodate anything I had asked. I gave them an idea of colors and flowers I had wanted and was blown away with what they came up with. The centerpieces were gorgeous and they made the most beautiful garland that we had in a variety of places. They do amazing work and are very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

Flowers for the ceremony and reception were beautiful. Felt like they listened to us and followed pictures we gave them. They were on site. They are Expensive. We went with them bc they were close but probably could have found a cheaper florist. Also, flowers were missing on our cake that florist was suppose to provide.

Steve was great to work with at Willow and Thistle. We got married at Normandy Farms so the convenience couldn't beat, but beyond that Steve walked us through all aspects of our wedding decor. We put his experience to use in asking him for suggestions with color pairings and flower suggestions. He never tried to oversell and was very respectful of our desired budget and helped us understand that decor could turn into a money-pit if not careful: words you typically don't hear from your floral vendor. All our guests loved the look and feel that our decor helped provide and it couldn't have been achieved without Willow and Thistle.

I booked Willow and Thistle because they are the house florists at my venue - Normandy Farm. When I first met with Steven, I showed him my Pinterest board of floral arrangements I liked. I cannot rave enough about how they absolutely NAILED my vision. My bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres - everything was EXACTLY what I had envisioned. They even worked with me to help me get what I wanted, but within my budget. My guests also raved about how beautiful the flowers and decor were. I would definitely recommend Willow and Thistle. Not only were the flowers and decor beyond my expectations, the entire team was a pleasure to work with!

We were introduced to Willow and Thistle since they were the recommended vendor for Normandy Farm. We would highly recommended using them no matter where your wedding may be, however if you are getting married at Normandy, they should be a definite! They were extremely easy to work with, and Steve/Jenn were very accommodating whenever we had to make some changes to our order. The flowers were beautiful and the package we received was very reasonably priced compared to other florists. We got married in the Silos ballroom at Normandy and the uplighting provided by W&T made the room look absolutely amazing. Thank you so much.

Willow and Thistle was amazing to work with! We met with Steve for our consultation - he was able to meet us the same day that we called. Steve was able to understand our vision for our NYE wedding and he was able to take our inspiration pictures and make changes to the flower types to stay within our budget.

The communication process was great; finalizing our details with Jen was smooth and I even added on last minute requests with no issues.

The day of the wedding the Willow and Thistle team were there to setup early and their attention to detail was impressive! Everything was exactly how we wanted it, and exceeded my expectations! My bouquet was amazing as was the bridesmaids bouquets and all boutonnieres were beautiful!

I just can't say enough about the quality and service we received from the Willow and Thistle team!! Thank you so much for making our day feel like a fairy tale!

I would highly recommend Willow and Thistle to any bride in search of a florist. We used Willow and Thistle for our personal boutiques as well as our centerpieces. All of the flowers turned out beautifully and were exactly what we wanted. Steve was fabulous to work with and the staff executed my vision perfectly!

Thank you to Steve, Jen and the rest of Willow & Thistle for helping us create beautiful memories on our wedding day. I was very specific when it came to our floral arrangements and W&T successfully followed through with all of my requests. I received an incredible amount of compliments on our personal flowers, as well as the lantern centerpieces. We also used W&T's uplighting services, which completely transformed the Silos Ballroom by offering a lilac glow. My husband and I had the opportunity to see the ballroom before any of our guests walked in; we were blown away by all of the meticulous work that stood before us. Thank you W&T for making our night so lovely and memorable!

Steve, Jen and all those with Willow and Thistle made my entire experience from start to finish easy and pleasant! They were quick to respond to every email and very accommodating with any change in plans. The bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids were absolutely beautiful. I also had so many compliments on our centerpieces. From the beginning, I felt like I did not have to worry about anything to do with my flowers because I was confident I was in good hands. Working with willow & thistle was extremely easy, resulted in beautiful flowers for our wedding, and Steven was extremely understanding and helpful. I literally cried when I saw my flowers, they were all absolutely AMAZING. They staff at Willow & Thistle created absolutely gorgeous center pieces and bouquets for my girls and I. The flowers in our ceremony space were also perfect and I am so thankful I found them for my big day! I cannot thank you enough for the ease in planning my big day, everyone was always responsive and available to me with questions or concerns. I wish I could relive the day all over again and I want to thank you for being apart of such a beautiful day. We are SO GLAD we chose Willow & Thistle to design all of our floral pieces for our recent wedding. From our very first meeting with Steve, we felt totally comfortable and and excited to work with W&T! All of our centerpieces and bouquets were BEAUTIFUL and were delivered with a smile on the day of our wedding. W&T put together a truly unique package for us - it was a dream come true! I loved that W&T asked us for our budget in advance, rather than designing something for us that we couldn't afford. This was so helpful! I would recommend them for any bride & groom. We were so happy with our choice of Willow & Thistle for flowers and decorations at our wedding. Since we also were married at Normandy Farm, the ease was a huge plus with their office located on-site. Communication back and forth prior to the wedding was always quick and easy. We did not want to spend too much on flowers and their prices were incredibly reasonable, without detracting from the quality. Since neither of us were too particular about what type of flowers we wanted, other than color, we took most of their recommendations and we could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. We received multiple compliments from our guests about how the flowers and other decorations looked at both the ceremony and reception, and they look totally gorgeous in all of our pictures. I would absolutely recommend Willow & Thistle - I have nothing at all negative to say about them!

Willow & Thistle did an amazing job with out flowers, centerpieces, and their customer service. Steve met with me for my initial consultation appointment. He took the time to understand my wedding vision and help me achieve my desired wedding look while staying within my budget. As my wedding day got closer I met with Jen (production coordinator) and she was super helpful with helping me make a few last minute adjustments to my ceremony floral arrangements and decorative flowers for my wedding cake. Both Jen and Steve took as much time as needed to discuss options and flowers and answered every phone call/email promptly if I had any questions. My bouquet, the centerpieces, and all of the flowers looked amazing on my wedding day and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Willow & Thistle.

I was worried for some reason that because willow and thistle was in normandy farm hotel that it would mean they'd be super expensive. I went to three other florists in the area and found they not only gave me EVERYTHING I wanted but they were within my budget. I didn't want traditional vases with flowers for my centerpieces and instead I worked with them and we came up with lanterns surrounded by moss with roses and other flowers scattered in the moss. It was awesome. I loved my personal flowers and everything they did. They gave me a sense of direction when I was overwhelmed and walked me through what I should expect. A week before the wedding they emailed me to say that a particular flower I had was coming in greener and not as pink as I wanted and they were able to switch gears to something that looked like that flower but was in the color I was looking for. I really couldn't be happier with their services. They also did up lighting for my room and it looked great. I highly recommend at least making an appointment to give them the opportunity to wow you.

I could not be happier with my experience with Willow & Thistle. I live out of town, so my mom and grandma met with several florists for me. They met with Steve at W&T and loved him, quickly selecting him as our potential florist. The next time I was home, I met with him and saw exactly what they were talking about. Steve was so incredibly friendly and I got the feeling right from the start he wanted to (and could) create the perfect floral arrangements for our day. He listened to what I liked and didn't like (very basic) and provided suggestions that helped us easily design everything within our budget. He was extremely accomodating - if I didn't like something, he had a new suggestion and at the last minute he added in flower petals to scatter on tables and other amazing decorations (candles, candlesticks, etc.)...everything was gorgeous. He quickly answered e-mails, phone calls, and he met with us as many times as we needed. As someone who had no idea what I wanted for flowers and did not have much preference - he was able to take the information we gave him and create beautiful and perfect flowers for our day. All of his staff were exceptional as well - friendly, accomodating, and hard working. I highly recommend this company!

Gorgeous flowers and fabulous eye for design! When I met with Steve for my initial consult, we talked about my vision and style for my June wedding. Steve immediately understood what I was looking for and was genuinely excited to use his creativity and talent to deliver the rustic, romantic, with a little glam look I was going for. My bouquet my stunning with soft dahlia and rose flowers with rustic elements such as scabiosa pods and succulents. My bridesmaids bouquets mimicked mine perfectly. I was undecided about the type of centerpieces I wanted, and Steve was very helpful in helping me choose 3 different designs. The team created bud vases to surround lanterns, gorgeous flowers spilling out of bird cages, and lovely floral arrangements in wood boxes. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out! To add to this, communication with Steve was always easy and with prompt response! He made this process a delight and I will definitely hire Willow and Thistle for future needs!!

Willow & Thistle is THE place to get flowers!! I met with them and told them my budget, and we talked through all the different centerpiece and bouquet options. They were able to get the look I wanted for the budget I was willing to pay. Their knowledge of which flowers to use made everything so beautiful. I also got married at Blue Bell Country Club (part of Normandy Farms Hotel) and they managed all of the set-up and clean-up which made the day/night so easy for my family and I. I would highly recommend them!!!

Steve and his team at Willow & Thistle are wonderful! From the moment we met him, we knew he would make both of our events stunning. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Union League and our wedding reception at Ballroom at the Ben (both downtown locations in Philadelphia) and he styled/arranged our flowers for each of them.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces were gorgeous. We were over the moon with how everything turned out. We received so many comments from guests all night.

Steve was fantastic. He is a delight to work with and brainstormed with us (and our style) to make everything even more lovely than we could have imagined. He gave us tips on how to cut costs, suggested flowers that we might not have thought about, and really took the time to bring what we envisioned to life. He was super flexible with our schedules and made sure he made everything easier for us. You can tell he loves his job and loves making ordinary places extraordinary.

Thank you, Willow and Thistle! You made our wedding look like a dream.

Our experience with Willow & Thistle was fantastic! Since they are an onsite vendor for Blue Bell Country Club (where we had our wedding and reception) we chose to at least have a consultation with them. And boy did they not disappoint!

Steve was incredibly helpful and flexible when working with our budget. He was very knowledgeable and had great ideas on how we could have our dream flowers and décor for a very affordable price.

Everything we discussed/planned- from the ceremony and reception décor to the flowers, were exactly as I had imagined down to the last detail. I would definitely recommend Willow & Thistle!

Steve and the rest of the staff at Willow & Thistle were so wonderful to work with for our winter wedding. They managed to transform a huge empty tent into a warm, inviting spot for our ceremony that went above and beyond our expectations. Steve worked with us to get us everything we wanted, and tried his best to stay within our ever-growing budget! He even went as far as inviting us over to the store one evening (with beers!) and set up a mock table, so that we could actually see what our tables would look like in person before the event. It doesn't get much better than that!

For our recent wedding we used our venue's onsite florist, Willow & Thistle. We could not have been more pleased with them!! Steve and his team were awesome to work with!! We mainly worked with Steve, who was extremely friendly, responsive, and helped me to make my floral vision a reality. I absolutely LOVED my bouquet!! It was better than I could have imagined. Willow & Thistle also provided our centerpieces, burlap runners, details for our cake, uplighting and lanterns! Another plus was that they delivered our bouquets and boutonnieres to our room the morning of the wedding. From the start, Steve and his team were wonderful and I would highly recommend Willow & Thistle! Thank you for making our wedding day so special!

Steven and Jill did a wonderful job with our wedding! Our flowers, center pieces and even the way they designed our napkins was incredible! They were friendly and very easy to work with. I don't consider myself at all to be a "flower" person, and I expressed that the first time I met Jill and Steve and the rest of the team at Willow & Thistle. They were unbelievably amazing, and I was beyond thrilled with how my wedding on October 11th worked out at Blue Bell Country Club. Steve patiently would sit with me a couple of times to review my order, changes items (or even the entire color palette was changed so we changed the flowers!) and very thoughtfully craft and design just the perfect floral arrangements for what I was looking for. I was extremely impressed with the thought and hours of time the team spent with me. They made it very very clear that their top priority was to have a happy bride - and I couldn't have been happier when I saw my flowers arrive.

I want to take a moment to discuss their professionalism - my husband's father passed away three months before our wedding and Steve and his team offered to do something very special to honor him, which I was blown away by their care and consideration. They were also extremely flexible when I had a bridesmaid back out 3 weeks before my wedding and credited me back the money for her flowers, even thought it was just at the point where my contract was finalized. I really appreciated how they went above and beyond in personal situations like those and touched me with their generosity. They listened to my budgetary concerns and were very open to suggestions regarding whether it would be cheaper for me to provide them with certain materials rather than me purchase them from them directly - which as a bride I know people can appreciate! I never once felt like I was being pushed to spend more, and they were very responsive to any questions I had.

Steve & Jill are a great team together and have built an extremely professional design team to work along side of them - I got a chance to meet the team the night before our wedding and they were so friendly to both myself and my husband and laid back!

Working with Steve and his team was one of the best choices I made in the wedding planning process. Willow and Thistle exceeded our expectations and I couldn't be happier.
