Lane was absolutely amazing and the best photographer I have ever encountered! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos were stunning. Lane is very professional and was attentive to all of our wishes. She is extremely creative, fun, and friendly! I can honestly say Lane captured every part of our wedding day and did not miss anything. I was so happy with how everything turned out. I received so many compliments from guests about her as well. She has an exceptional personality and it's obvious she is truly passionate about her work. Lane was a joy to work with and worth every penny, I highly recommend her! My husband and I will certainly be using her in the future!

Lane did both our engagement session and wedding photography, and we couldn't be happier with how everything went.

Neither my now-husband nor I are particularly fond of being photographed, so we wanted to find a photographer who specialized in capturing natural moments and who we felt comfortable with. We first met Lane via a Skype call when we were fielding photographers, and we knew she was the one we wanted to work with. Fun, funny, easygoing, accommodating, and eager to get the best shots possible, she was everything we wanted (and needed!) in a wedding photographer.

After our engagement photos came out great, we knew we didn't have to worry about how the wedding photos would be. Lane showed up bright and early on our wedding day and worked tirelessly throughout (we had to actually order her to take a break and have some dinner!). She was great at keeping herself in the background and most of the night we weren't even aware that she was around, snapping photos left and right. And if she saw people gathering for a group shot someone was taking with a cell phone, she was quick to jump in and snap photos with her professional equipment.

Her turnaround on delivering the photos was pretty quick, and they came out better than we could have hoped. A lot of special moments were beautifully captured, and even the posed portraits don't look stiff and awkward like our posed photos usually do.

Throughout the many months we worked with Lane, she was endlessly helpful and kind, and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we tossed her way. A few of our guests after the wedding commented on how great our photographer was. When I pointed out that they hadn't even seen the photos yet, they dismissed me, insisting "she was great" no matter what.

Lane is truly and artist and we could not have found a better photographer for our wedding day. We are thrilled with our photos and will use Lane for every photography need we have in the future. We recently received our wedding photographs and both my husband and I said "WOW" several times while looking through them for the first time. Lane captured everything from light, fun moments to the most intimate wedding ceremony moments with ease. Someone recently told us that our photos look like they came out of a magazine. We LOVE Lane!

As I approach my first year anniversary I am BEYOND THANKFUL that we chose Lane with Willow Lane Photography to capture our big day. Lane captured the most beautiful candid photos that I have ever seen in my life. Literally breath taking! She has such a gift of photography! She was amazing to have on our wedding day, she knew the photos we wanted, was extremely prepared and punctual, and she did it all so effortlessly. It was amazing to have her by our sides all day! We HIGHLY recommend Willow Lane Photography for any big you may have!

I cannot recommend working with Lane enough. We did 11 hours with Lane on the day of the wedding, and used her for our photo booth. First, the photo booth was a HUGE hit. I love Willow Lane's photo booth because it's an open booth that can fit a TON of people, and she uses gorgeous backdrops to make the pictures look more elevated than traditional booths. Working with Lane as a day of photographer was a dream. Lane is a wonderful person who I consider myself lucky to have had around on the day of the wedding. She was flexible, kind, understanding, while also making sure everything got done in a timely fashion. She even got my 3 year old nephew to smile in pics! The pictures themselves are absolutely breathtaking. She captured every moment I could possibly hope for and so many more. If I could recommend one vendor, Lane would be it.

Lane was absolutely amazing. We found her via the internet and I immediately fell in love with her style. We immediately emailed her and her response was prompt and we set up an appointment. In the craziness of wedding planning, she was a breath of fresh air. She was professional, kind, and I immediately knew she was going to do an amazing job! Over the next few months, she guided us and helped us figure out exactly what we wanted from her and she paid such close attention to all of the details that we wanted to include. She was on time and professional during the wedding and reception, and most of our guests said that they did not even notice her at either one. When we got our pictures, we both cried. They were so amazing, almost everyone we show them to comments on their magazine quality. We look at them all of the time and love every single one of them. She is talented and an amazingly talented artist!

We came across Lane's work online when we were searching for a wedding venue. A venue we looked at featured some of her photos and we fell in love with her work. We connected via Skype to meet due to our distance (we're in Chicago), but we very comfortable with her right away. Lane was helpful when I had questions throughout the planning process and was very flexible on travel. Throughout the wedding day, Lane made my husband and I, our bridal party, and our family and friends feel so comfortable and at ease. She did a great job with appropriately timing our different photo locations, arriving at our venue early, and capturing all the must have shots we had requested on our photo list. By the end of the night, I had felt that Lane was just one of our friends. We received our photos earlier than we had expected and are completely blown away at the results! We could not be happier with our experience with Lane, she played such an important part in our day and now we have such great captured memories to look back on forever. I will not be surprised if my siblings and close friends reach out to her in the future for photography needs after having such a great experience. Thanks again for making our day Lane!

My now-husband is a photographer so you can imagine the high expectations he had for our wedding photographer. We were wary of photo filters and overly posted portraits and knew we wanted something "looser."

When we came upon Lane's work, it was a total revelation in wedding photography! Her book is totally indicative of the work she delivered for our wedding and we could not be happier. Lane captured so many tender, genuine and candid moments of us and our guests. True to her photography background as a photo-journalist, she maneuvered about the room so stealthily and gracefully that many of our guests didn't even realize she was there.

We would highly recommend Lane to any nearly-wed couple who (like us) is a little camera shy and doesn't want to pose for long. Lane's kind personality will put you at ease and her incredibly sharp eye will produce some prized photos.

Lane is the most amazing photographer I've seen, and we couldn't be more grateful for her! She made our day look amazing and went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. She is professional, but patient and so sweet. I got SO many compliments on her gorgeous photos, they are unique artistic and like none I've seen elsewhere.

Lane did an amazing job. She's great to work with and makes beautiful photos. My only regret was not doing an engagement session with her - if you're on the fence about that, just go for it. You won't regret spending a little extra money for more gorgeous photos.

Simply put, Lane is amazing. One of my favorite wedding vendors by far! We loved the quality of her work (it really speaks for itself) but also how easy she is to work with. The idea of being followed around by someone with a camera on potentially one of the most stressful days of your life always made me a bit nervous. But Lane made me feel like I had an extra bridesmaid there, she really was like an old friend that was able to decrease my stress, not increase it. I have recommended Lane to all of my friends, we really could not have asked to work with a better photographer.

Lane takes the most beautiful pictures, hands down. I could not imagine my wedding with out her! Aside from being one of the best photographers in the state, she is a truly caring, fun person. She made everyone feel at ease, and made me look like a model -she is hands down the BEST!

Never been more pleased with our photos!! She was wonderful in every step! The best is when she helped our grandmother from the church pew to the alter to take a family photo. She does well with lighting and composition. She was willing to even travel for the the wedding and engagement photos!

We can not say enough great things about Willow Lane Photography. We, along with our guests, were very impressed by her professionalism, organization, and creativity. Our photographs turned out amazing!
From the start of the day, Lane was early to each location and had many locations to go to for just one photographer. We had a time crunch to get our outdoor pictures before the sunset and she got through 4 larger family pictures in about 5 min. We were amazed at our reception photos and how she captured all the hilarious moments, because we barely noticed our pictures getting taken.
Not only were we impressed by Lane the day of the wedding, she also helped me through tough questions and the wedding process. She never made me feel like she did not have the time to talk or email. After the wedding, she sent us the best package in the mail! She is so creative.
Also, if you are contemplating the Willow Booth, do it! Our guests loved it and the picture quality was great!

From the very first email we received from Lane to the conclusion of our wedding day, Lane was nothing short of wonderful. The communication between us and Lane was always friendly and easy. During our first meeting at our engagement session, Lane let us take our time to get comfortable in our surroundings. She was so laid back and easy to work with. We couldn't be happier with how our engagement photos turned out. On our wedding day Lane just blended right in. There were times we didn't even notice she was there. She made it a point to just go with the flow of the day. Upon arriving at our venue, it started to rain and I was nervous to get my dress wet, and Lane ran back to her car to get an umbrella for me. Little things like that made Lane such a pleasure to work with. She made sure our day was about us. Our family and friends are just as fond of Lane as we are. They all kept telling us how friendly, yet very professional Lane was. Our wedding photos far exceeded our expectations. They turned out even more beautiful than we hoped for. We really can't say enough about Lane. She is a true professional. If you are considering booking with Willow Lane Photography, go ahead and book. You will not regret it. Thank you Lane!!!

If you are considering Lane to be your photographer, stop considering and just hire her! She is absolutely amazing, and has the talent for the business along with the great personality to work with you on your most important day of your life.
From the get-go, we were blown away with her promptness, replying to some of our questions even while she was on vacation. All those questions those wedding magazines tell you to ask your photographer, she's got the answers, rest assured :)
We did an engagement session with her as well, which I highly recommend (you're building a connection with your photographer, which will help with your wedding day). We asked her if she could drive to our college town, which wasn't close for her, but with a reasonable transportation rate, it all worked out. And on St. Patrick's Day, no less! <3 It was amazing being back on the campus we fell in love at. We were able to incorporate the places that were special to us, along with spots that caught her eye as a photographer. She's a photographer that wants to document your love for each other, and does it in a way where she isn't in your face. My one tip for you: practice how you want to be pictured, look at photos with your fiance', Lane will help you but she also isn't a mind reader.
As for the day of our wedding, Lane was soo easy going and incredibly flexible with our plans. Some things we didn't think our thoroughly, and she helped give us suggestions and solutions. She somewhat played a middle man for the guys and gals before we got our first look, which went perfectly. It was great feeling that our photographer felt like our friend more than anything, as it helped us relax and just really enjoy the day coming together as Mr and Mrs.
Did I mention that she has a photo-booth? And not one of those you'd see if you were going to the fair, I mean an open style, you stand in and can fit a group, gorgeous backdrop, photo-booth that works with a touch of a button and a countdown. <3<3

Lane did an amazing job with the pictures for our wedding. She was everywhere during the wedding and offered great suggestions for pictures. She was also very willing to take any of the pictures that we asked for (even the HUGE family shots). Lane came early and scoped out the venue and even started taking pictures a little early while we were getting ready. She has an incredible eye for photojournalistic shots and is not the type of photographer to do the typical pose shots. We ended up with ~1,500 pictures that are all great. She did not use any type of harsh flash bulbs and each picture looks very natural (even though the lighting was dark for most of the reception). Her pricing was very reasonable for the high quality of work that she did. Lane also gives you the rights to your pictures so you can make the prints as needed and have the files forever. She did a great job and we'd highly recommend her!

Lane is amazing. She produces those photos that you didn't even know where taken and capture those special moments. She is affordable for the service she provides and you receive all photos with release on a DVD. She is also very personable and easy to work with. .

I cannot gush enough about Lane's professionalism, talent and enthusiasm! We were choosing between two other photographers for our wedding when we saw Lane's photos and knew immediately that we wanted to work with her. Lane was responsive, flexible and well organized from the moment we met until the last sparkler went out after our wedding exit.

Lane worked with our budget, took full advantage of new locations - indoor and outdoor, and stayed even later than promised to ensure she captured all of the touching moments with our friends and family. We knew we enjoyed working with her, but didn't realize how lucky we were to have found her until our pictures came back; they are BREATHTAKING. We have received many, many compliments and could not be happier with our photos. Her turnaround was less than 2 weeks and her new viewing platform is easy to use. We are thrilled and happy to recommend Lane to anyone!

Lane was very professional, friendly and efficient. She is detail-oriented and likes lists of every photo I wanted taken (of family, bridal party, etc.) so she didn't miss anyone. That kind of planning and preparation helped me feel confident that we'd get all the shots we wanted. And we did. Lane took beautiful photographs. Her portraits were breath-taking, as were her shots of the reception and ceremony. And she was quick to edit them. We hadn't even gotten back from our honeymoon yet when all the images were edited and Lane sent us the DVD of photos and a hundred 4x6 prints. I knew Lane would create the type of photographs I'd want to look at 50 years down the road and she did. I would (and have) recommended her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Lane was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very organized and helpful in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. She was never in the way or in our line of sight during the ceremony or reception. The photos were absolutely wonderful, they were beyond our expectations. Lane is a very talented photographer; her photographs will be cherished for generations.

We are so pleased with Lane's work. She takes amazing photos. She has a great artistic eye--our photos were creative and in the moment, but still included posed shots of the bridal party and family. Everyone who has looked at our pics have raved about how great her photos are. She takes a lot of photos, was very quick with posting photos online and is very personable and great to work with. Also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Willow Lane Photography.

Lane helped make our special day even more so. She was extremly easy to work with and had a great eye for picking our wonderful shots. She just blended in with my family and made me feel at ease which was no easy task!

The finished product including so many extras I could not believe the value. I highly recommend using her for any of your photo needs.

Lane was amazing! I found her online by looking at other couples' wedding pictures on Facebook. I then contacted her through email and she emailed me back within a day, giving me the details about the packages and pricing. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of work she did for us!
Her service was great- she always responded to my emails and was very easy to talk to on the phone. We actually didn't even meet until the day of the wedding and everything still turned out fantastic! She traveled a little under 3 hours to make it to our location and then arrived earlier than what we even expected at my makeup appointment. She was then so easy to talk to that the girl doing my makeup mistook us for old friends.
I was also somewhat of a disorganized bride and Lane was very skilled at getting all the shots within the chaos and time-frame. I love the candid shots she captured of moments throughout the day. Some of the pictures were available to view within days of our wedding...we were still on our honeymoon when a friend called gushing compliments about the photos he had seen online! Within 3 weeks, she had posted all of the pictures online in a private gallery as well mailed the entire package of photos and dvds. Everything was gorgeous, and even the packaging was pretty! Overall, we were THRILLED with Lane and all of our wedding photos! We are so glad we went with her, and the pictures are an awesome keepsake of our wedding day.

Wow...where to even begin with how beautiful Lane's work is. We are so glad that we chose Willow Lane Photography to document our engagement and Wedding. Lane is very professional, affordable, and easy to work with. I can't believe how quick her turn around is with the photos. We had proofs up before we even got back from our honeymoon and then the CD's 1-2 weeks later. Her documentary style of photography is exactly what we wanted and she captured every important moment of our special day. She is very easy to work with, if you tell her what you want, she delivers and then more. Lane was amazing to work with! She did a great job of capturing our wedding with a good mix of portriats and candids. Lane takes her own unique approach to her work and the results are nothing less that mind blowing images. Lane is just one of these rare people with an amazing talent for what she does. I really can't say enough great things about Lane! We first met Lane when she did our engagement session- she was very easy to work with and get in touch with- and flexible with working around our busy schedules. We had such a great time taking the pictures- she really makes you feel relaxed and at ease. And then we got the pictures back and they were AMAZING! I knew at that point that our wedding pictures were going to be wonderful and they were. Everyone who has seen them is in love with them and can't say enough great things about Lane's work.

Lane prefers more natural, unposed pictures and the great thing about that is she catches those small moments that would otherwise be missed or forgotten like my niece watching intently as I got my makeup done or an embrace with my mom after I got my dress on. What we have now from our wedding is not just a bunch of pictures, but truly the story of the day. That being said, she took all of the standard wedding portraits as well (even with our HUGE family!) and those turned out really well also.

The incredible thing is that the cost is so reasonable- we couldn't find anyone else who was even close on price, and that coupled with the awesome pictures makes for an awesome deal. A big sell for my hubby & I was that you don't have to purchase pictures from Lane, instead included with the cost of her services are the pictures on a DVD and the copyright for them so you can print wherever you like. She does post them online through theprintroom.com so it is easy for your friends & family to purchase them. But I used weekly deals from Shutterfly & Walgreens to print our engagement pics & saved a ton of money- in fact, we had one of our engagement pics blown up to 16X20 for $6 for the print because we weren't forced to order through her.

I highly recommend Willow Lane Photography- you won't be disappointed!

I cannot even begin to explain how thrilled I am that Lane was able to photograph my wedding. Our photographs turned out better than I could have ever imagined and I have received so many compliments about how beautiful the photographs are and that they should be in a magazine (be sure to check out her website).

Lane was able to get the perfect combination of posed and candid pictures, while working quickly and keeping everyone happy. She was amazing to work with as she is very professional, prompt and flexible. She has great ideas and was able to incorporate all of my requests. I would definitely recommend using her - Lane (and are photographs) are fabulous!

We are in awe of our amazing wedding photos! Willow Lane Photography provided us not only with hundreds of beautiful shots, but captured the feelings/emotions of our wedding day. Very easy to work with, as well as EXTREMELY creative. Our pictures retell the story of the greatest day of our lives! Hands down, the best photographer I've worked with...ever!

I can't say enough good things about Lane! She was amazing. We hired her for our wedding in May and had a list of specific people i did not want to forget to get photos with as well as a few samples of photo ideas i liked from friends weddings. Lane took these ideas and went over and beyond. Portraits are great, but it is the other things she captured that blew me away. Everything from me getting ready to my husband shining his shoes, to a "vogue" style photo of the wedding party, she was there for every moment and even reminded me of a few things i forgot. Having a photographer that is a photojournalist is a huge asset as she did not miss a thing. Lane is so easy to work with and her photos prove that she really loves what she does! I would highly recommend her for an event like this, when you want to know someone is going to come thru for you! I couldn't be happier with the photography from our wedding. It was some of the best spent money in our wedding budget. I highly recommend meeting with her to go over your event. I have to confidence that you too will be pleased.

If you're looking for wedding photography that is beautiful, artistic, journalistic, and leave your friends and family raving without feeling like you had to pose for a million awkward pictures on your day, then Lane is your gal.

She's talented beyond her years, and truly understands how to capture moments that are intimate, lovely and beautiful. We really loved having Lane capture our day. She was punctual and took boatloads of pictures, making sure to capture details and changes in expressions. She was really efficient with posed pictures, and we gave her an hour for portraits that was worth the time. Lane also is super creative, so even if you're not sure you want to get up on a park bench in your wedding dress, do as I did and humor her for a few frames because they might turn out to be among your favorites!

For us, photography was especially important and Lane was highly recommended to us. I'm glad we went with her--she was super amazing to work with during the day. My only quip is that she's so popular that it might take a bit longer to hear from her. Don't despair--once you've booked her, you know that she'll be all yours on your wedding day.

My other recommendation with Lane too is to be sure you tell her what you want shots of on the day. Brides, a word of wisdom: no photographer can read mind and know that you want dozens of shots of your bridesmaids bouquets or your table decor if you don't say anything. Certainly Lane picked up a lot on the details naturally, but make sure that you tell her if you spent hours on a particular project and really want photos of it.

I'd book Lane again in a heartbeat. Everyone raves at how beautiful my photos are and thinks I spent twice as much as I did. (Thanks, Lane! You're amazing!)

Lane did a wonderful job, and many of my family members complimented on how wonderful it was to work with her, even though they had only known her for a few hours!

Lane did a fantastic job on our engagement and wedding photos! She was professional, yet relaxed - which helped my camera-shy husband be more relaxed as well. I can just look at the photo's and be transported back to the moment. She captured everything not only that I expected, but some great spontanious moments and angles I never would have thought of. The people that didn't attend but saw our photo's have been blown away by the job she did and I am happy to brag about our great photographer. I would recommend Lane to any and everyone!

Lane is a very thoughtful and supportive photographer to have on your big day. She really captures and documents every moment in a crisp and precise fashion. I loved the creativity she Incorporated into capturing our ethnic marriage ceremony. I should also mention that she really undercharges for her fantastic services! She mailed me DVDs of our pictures and prints in a beautifully arranged box. I highly recommend her!

We first saw Lane's work last year for my future brother and sister-in-law's wedding. She was so professional and really captured the bride and groom as a couple. She has been so supportive with my about my issues with my body. I am fully confident that she will help us capture our engagement and wedding in ways that will make us feel beautiful and capture all the happiness we share as a couple.

Lane's photography is absolutely beautiful, and I'm happy with the experience. A local bridal magazine actually wanted to feature some of the photos, they were so lovely. I felt beautiful that day working with Lane, and she was very friendly to work with.

I had two small issues that I think could have been a little better:

* Each time I contacted her, I did not receive a comment back until I waited a week and emailed her a second time.

* I was a nervous bride, and when I get nervous, I laugh like a crazy person. I would have liked a little more guidance from her to try and get a "regular" bridal portrait of my husband and I simply smiling at the camera. I truly love and prefer the journalistic style of photography that Lane uses, but I don't have a single "traditional" wedding portrait from the day, and I very much wish I did.
