Absolutely recommend!
Cheyenne and Marley are incredibly talented and made us all feel so beautiful. They were able to seamlessly accommodate a variety of hairstyles while keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. They listened to what each person wanted and made everyone feel so gorgeous. Everyone’s hair lasted all day and even as we danced the night away. I had a large group with nine bridesmaids, MOB and MOG. Cheyenne and Marley kept the energy in the room fun, calm and such a fun getting ready experience. On my wedding day I opted to change the style from what I did in the trial. Cheyenne was amazing and quickly adapted. She is so kind and caring and really takes the time to listen to what you want. She made my vision come to life and it was exactly what I wanted. I felt so beautiful the day of my wedding. I highly recommend Willow and Lace. Amazing work and amazing people! -

Such a fantastic experience!! I worked with 2 stylists who did hair for me, my mom, my aunt, and six bridesmaids! There was a ton of variety in what people wanted to do and their hair types, but each look was beautiful and stayed perfect all day long. They really listened to what each person wanted and brought their vision to life flawlessly. I couldn't have asked for a better team!!

THE BEST Bridal Hair!!!
Cheyenne did my hair for my wedding as well as my bridal party’s. She was AMAZING!! My hair came out exactly as I wanted it. She was on time, professional, and amazing at her job. She did a wonderful job, especially on my mom & grandma who did not have a ton of hair to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially for wedding hairstyles. Emily (the owner) was also amazing. I almost had a mental breakdown the night before our wedding as I thought I had forgot to confirm the timeline with our stylist, and I texted Emily and received a text back immediately at 11:30pm letting me everything was good. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who asks! -

Willow and Lace did a phenomenal job with my wedding party hairstyles! Each ask was different and Emily met all requests perfectly! As a bride of color she laid edges and pinned my braided style, for my MIL, GIL, and SIL she did blowouts and pinups styles, and for my daughter she did a braided into pinned up loose curls look which was age appropriate and so fun for my 5yo! She even last minute accommodated wig styling for my mother—she was the Best! She blended in well to the wedding party and had great conversation, was kind, and attentive to requests.

Multitalented Hair Stylist
I was lucky enough to have Danielle as my hairstylist as part of my multi-day South Asian Wedding. She is so talented and knew how to handle so many hiccups that took place with such ease and grace. She was always so friendly and just an absolute joy to be around! Biggest blessing of having her was that she was so flexible! She was always able to get all my accessories perfect and with how much we partied every night not a hair was ever out of place. Thank you Danielle!! LOVED DANIELLE! I had found Emily Dami’s company through Instagram (now Willow & Lace Hairstyling), and loved her team’s work. I had Danielle doing my hair for the wedding, and had Deysi helping out with the rest of my girls/moms. Danielle did a phenomenal job with my hair, and it lasted all night! I even had a beachside wedding that was a bit breezy, and my hair stood up to it! I did a trial with Danielle, and I’m so glad I did because she took notes and made some tweaks to my wedding day hair, that made it perfect. Danielle has such a wonderful personality, so fun and sweet, and a 10/10 hype-woman. I could not recommend them more!! Danielle also worked so well with my make-up artist, Tiffany from Beauty by Tiffany Inc. - HIGHLY recommend booking them together, they've got a great dynamic. Thank you Danielle!! -

Amazing Hair Artist
Emily and her assistant were amazing. She listened to what I wanted at my trial, asked me all the questions and came up with exactly what I wanted. The day of my wedding there was a little bit of traffic and she communicated that with me but it did not even effect our timeline! My hair, my bridesmaids, flower girls, and moms all turned out perfect! One of my bridesmaids wanted her hair changed slightly and they more than happy to do it! My hair also stayed put all day (I have very fine hair that usually does not hold). Emily and her team and definitely worth it and I am so glad they did our hair for my wedding! -

My Winter Wedding Perfection
Emily and her team are AMAZING to work with. From the initial inquiry, to the planning, to the trial, to the wedding day- everything was so easy and enjoyable. Emily is literally a god sent! I started seeing her early this year for haircuts and color appointments and she is literally so easy to talk too and work with ! We had our trial run a few weeks before my wedding and she worked her magic and I absolutely loved the look! I found Emily on wedding wire and started to go to her as my regular stylist way before my actual wedding date. Unfortunately, due to covid, our wedding had to be delayed multiple times. Emily worked with me and was flexible with the new dates which I was very appreciative of. She not only has always done a great job for my regular hair visits but did an absolutely beautiful job on my wedding day hair and all of my bridesmaids’ hair. I've been seeing Emily for haircuts for years now, and when it was time for me to get married I knew exactly who I wanted to style my hair. When you find a hair dresser you love, and stick with them for years, you really know they are good- but I didn't realize how good she was going to be with bridal hair! She blew it right out of the water. She did my hair, my 4 bridesmaids and my mothers. Each on a little different than the rest, but all worked so beautifully together. I love that her package included a hair trial, because you just don't know what you like until it is on you! I've seen hundreds of styles online, but trying it with Emily before the wedding really solidified it with me. On the day of we added babies breath to mine, and the bridesmaids and it turned out so beautiful! they stayed on very well, and the curls held up better than I thought they would. Emily and Danielle were punctual, and professional, but also so fun to work with! They stuck around until I was ready to put my veil in, and I asked Emily to put the final piece in (because I trust her that much!) I recommend her to all those getting married! -

I had both Miranda and Cheyenne to help me and my bridal party get ready and they were a joy to work with! We had a lovely talk while getting ready and they did a great job interpreting some of my ladies' vague style requests. Everyone's hair turned out beautifully, including mine, and stayed put for the night despite getting ready in the morning for an evening wedding. They even left a little gift bag with some bobby pins, hair ties, and hair spray in case things went awry. They were also incredibly flexible when I found out only about 1 month before the wedding that my mother-in-law who was going to do my hair was unable to at the last minute and added me on with my bridal party. Would most certainly recommend them for any bride in the future! -

AWESOME! I can’t tell you how much I loved Emily! One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was having her do all my girls hair for my big day! She’s SOOOO helpful, responds so quickly, friendly, put my mind at ease, and was able to work with black, white, mixed, thick, thin, extensions.. all the types of hair that my group had! She did mine (bride), 3 bridesmaids, 1 groomswoman, and our flower girls hair. I trust very few people with my mixed girl (black & white), textured hair, but she was so excited about working with it and she ROCKED it!
She’s super flexible too, which is extremely helpful, me being a Covid-wedding bride. She was basically on speed dial in case any changes needed to be made, including one of my bridesmaids not being able to make it 2 weeks before the big day. During my trial, I tried a bun style, but then changed my mind that I wanted a ponytail on my big day and she was like “Cool! Send me inspo pics and we can do it!” and she nailed my vision.
My girls loved her and were in love with her styling. She also was amazing at keeping us on schedule (which we definitely needed) in the most friendly way! I’ll be using her services again for whenever I have a special event ❤️ Book her!!! -

Amazing Hair Stylist
If you’re scrolling through reviews to decide who you want to book as your hair stylist, stop right now and book Emily & her team! She’s amazing, professional, and very accommodating. Being a bride during COVID, dates and locations changed more than once, and she was so flexible through it all, even driving much further than initially anticipated. I chose 2 different styles to trial, but ended up going with a completely different style on my wedding day, and Emily absolutely killed it! I was so in love with my hair, and probably received more compliments on my hair than my dress lol! I can’t say enough good things about her entire team, who styled the hair of my 5 bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and myself in record time! -

Prior to meeting Emily, I was most nervous about the look of my hair for my wedding day, especially having ethnic hair. After my bridal trial with her, all my nerves went away! I loved working with Emily for so many reasons! From day one, she was super responsive. When I decided to do bridal portraits, she helped me juggle schedules so we could coordinate the trial run for the same day. She did an incredible job on my hair for both the bridal portraits and the wedding day. We decided to make some changes after the trial run, and I still can’t decide which style I preferred - they were both so beautifully done! Emily and her assistant, Miranda, did an amazing job on my bridesmaids’ and mother’s hair as well. They styled everyone’s hair to suit them perfectly. Emily gave us a little goodie bag for hair touch-ups before the ceremony, but we didn’t need it! My hair stayed up all day and never once felt uncomfortable. Amazing!!! -

Beautiful wedding hair!
Emily was just lovely, a great stylist, very efficient and a good person! During the trial, we attempted half up and half down styles and I realized I wasn't a huge fan, so then we tested a low side up do and I loved it! Since I live in GA and the wedding was in VA, our trial was 6 months in advance and she took pictures and remembered exactly how I wanted it by the time the wedding day came! She also recommended my great makeup artist, Sol Whitlock. Definitely recommend! -

Emily is a hair savant! I'm not exaggerating, she is incredible at what she does and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a hair stylist in Norfolk especially for a wedding stylist. Emily has done my hair for two weddings - my own and my sister's. Both times my hair looked incredible and most importantly, it held up. Love love loved working with Emily. Right from the start at the trial, I felt comfortable with her so I knew all the girls would too come wedding day and I was right. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she nailed it. My hair stayed secure all night and looked amazing. And surprisingly, when I took all the pins out that night-- my hair still looked good and felt soft. I expected to be a frizzy, sticky medusa haha. But no, she's some sort of hair genie who can do intricate updos that somehow turn into silk smooth curls when the pins come out at night. I'm honestly thinking about switching the Emily for all my hair needs moving forward. Great experience, would recommend to everyone! -

Mary-Kate Sent on 08/04/2018Emily and crew were so amazing. They travelled across state to get to my location at 630am. We had 9 adults and 3 little ones to get all dolled up for the day. Emily got straight to work, set up materials, and consulted with each of my ladies to get an idea of what they were looking for. The results were stunning. Everyone looked amazing and so completely themselves. Even my little flower girls (who have never had their hair done professionally) were treated kindly and felt like princesses in Emily's hands. As for me... I was clueless about what I wanted my hair to look like. Due to my crazy schedule I wasnt able to make a trial happen. Emily helped me look through photos and even listened to my loving but opinionated best friend while she did my hair. In the end I was so in love with my style and it held in place for a 1pm ceremony through the reception which ended at 10pm. Highly recommended! Super professional, very talented, and lovely to work with.

She fielded all of my questions concerning pricing and flexibility around the day of, and coordinating which bridesmaids would need to have updos done etc etc. The time I spent with her doing a trial updo was well worth it not only to perfect the look I was wanting to achieve, but to just spend time getting to know Emily herself! I felt that I could totally trust her with my hair vision, and was not disappointed! The day of she was very calm, and her and her assistant kept everyone on schedule while making everyone feel beautiful, not stressed. She did an incredible job! The morning of, all the girls showed her photos of styles they wanted and she pulled them off virtually identical to the photos shown. Emily was great to work with. I did two trials, as I was unsure of using extensions that I purchased. I loved my hairstyle the day of the wedding. Emily did a great job of making me feel elegant! My Matrons hair looked great also. I felt the price was a bit high for the amount of hair I have (above my shoulders), but I understood the price when I agreed to the contract! Honestly, Emily was more reasonable with her prices than other vendors I had found. Great with responding to messages. The goody bag was also a nice addition the day of! -

Emily was very organized and professional day of - she had one other person with her who prepped our hair and made the whole process more efficient. I had three bridesmaid and my MIL getting hair done as well as me. All of them got up dos and they looked amazing. I wanted just curls and half up half down. My curls did fall a bit more than I wanted but I do have very heavy hair and that tends to happen. Overall the look of hair was still beautiful and felt very me. Don’t hesitate to book Emily she is very nice and you and your girls will look wonderful on your day! -
