As we started our wedding planning process, we wanted to explore how a planner could help us, even as someone who already handles corporate events. I'm so glad we found Willmus Weddings!
Heather was wonderful from our very first call, and we appreciated having the flexibility to choose between partial or full planning. During our first in-person meeting, she helped us identify what mattered most in selecting our venue. We ultimately chose partial planning based on our venue, Kijami Overlook at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and she found us incredible vendors to complete our day.
As we got closer to the wedding, I couldn't have imagined how grateful I would be to have Heather to rely on. She kept us on track with every little detail and was always ready with a thoughtful opinion whenever we had questions.
On the day of our wedding, Heather and Ava were absolutely fantastic! I was able to trust them completely to set up our decorations exactly as I had envisioned, while we enjoyed getting ready and sharing our first look. Throughout the reception, Heather made sure we actually got to eat, including trying our appetizers and sitting down to enjoy our dinner. Looking back, I'm so thankful we found Heather and Willmus Weddings! -

Heather was an absolute dream to work with. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and she always seemed to be anticipating exactly what we needed before we even said it. She truly listened, offered thoughtful guidance whenever we asked, and kept every part of the day running smoothly. I couldn’t imagine going through the planning process without her.
Christophe was phenomenal as well. His upbeat, positive energy made the whole experience so fun, and even with the challenging weather, he captured an incredible amount of gorgeous photos. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does.

We worked with both Heather and Christophe for our wedding and I highly recommend them both. They are fairly priced, communicative, and kind. Overall an absolute pleasure to work with!
Heather was our wedding planner and I truly feel like our wedding day would not have happened without her. She connected us with the perfect venue and talented vendors and handled all of the hard parts so we could handle the fun parts. She made sure everyone worked cohesively together and stuck to the timeline. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and we owe it mostly to Heather.
Christophe was our videographer and he captured the day perfectly. Our videos were edited beautifully and our personalities really came through. He also finished them so quickly!
If you are getting married in the San Diego area, Willmus is the best team to work with. -

Using Willmus Weddings for coordination and photography was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. Heather was professional, helpful, and ensured the entire event ran seamlessly. Christophe ensured first look and family photos ran smoothly while also taking gorgeous shots of the various moments of the day. We have nothing but compliments about how well he worked with our disabled and young family members. During the planning process, it was very obvious Willmus Weddings have strong professional relationships with the wedding industry in San Diego (which helped make the process even smoother!) Choosing them as our vendors kept the event stress-free, helped us to be present in the moment, and ensured we weren't worrying about logistics at all throughout the day. On a personal level, they're lovely people and we enjoyed all of our planning and wedding-day interactions with them - on top of us, many of our wedding party members told us much they liked Heather/Christophe. Heather and Christophe are an amazing duo! We hired Heather for month of coordination for our wedding at the Thursday Club. She was instrumental in the day going off exactly as planned and key in keeping us on track during the planning process. She thought of little details I would never have thought to consider. Day of my husband and I did not have to worry about anything but enjoying the day and our friends and family. She is very easy to work with and super knowledgeable with local vendors. She was great with both the vendors she recommended and the ones we found ourselves. Christophe did both our engagement photos and wedding. The photos were stunning, and he made us feel very at ease and not as awkward as we normally would be. Had multiple guests at the wedding come up and comment how thorough and nice Christophe was, noting that he was always in the right spot to capture the moment! We reached out to interview a variety of wedding planners seven months before our wedding, and Heather at Willmus Weddings immediately stood out. From the start, it seemed she was not only on point, with close connections to all of the vendors (photographers, videographer- who conveniently happened to be her husband - florist, lighting, makeup, and hair), but she also genuinely cared about making the day as special as possible for us.
We initially met at the wedding site, where she walked us through all the details. Later, we met again at the site for our tasting, and she guided us through decisions that would have been overwhelming without her input. At the six-week check-in, she ensured everything was aligned and every detail handled, leaving little to no lift on our side.
The day before the wedding, Heather had all the vendors confirmed and seamlessly managed everything behind the scenes. We didn’t have a worry in the world as she walked our wedding party through the rehearsal and made sure everything was clearly communicated. On the day itself, she had an assistant present who stayed until the very end, and we couldn’t imagine our wedding going any better thanks to her focus on detail and her personal touch.
We have no reservations about recommending her for any wedding in need of direction and coordination. If you choose Willmus Weddings, you will not be disappointed. -

Heather was the month of coordinator for our wedding at the Thursday Club in Point Loma. She kept us on track during the planning process and seamlessly took the reins about 6 weeks out. Heather was the definition of calm, cool, and organized. She struck an excellent balance of checking in to make sure we were tracking on our planning, encouraging us when we needed to catch up on our checklist, and always doing so warmly to make sure things got done without unneeded stress or planning panic. She was supportive in making recommendations on decorations, event flow, and schedule, but ultimately happy to help bring our vision to life once we made a decision.
Christophe did a great job of directing us and helping us ease into our engagement photos, especially given our lack of experience with photo shoots. We asked him to help recreate some old family wedding photos and get a few specific shots, and he was committed to getting every detail perfect.
I'm sure they do a ton of weddings, but they showed up on our day committed to making our experience entirely unique and special. Anytime Christophe picked up on an opportunity for photos with a special group of people, he immediately jumped in to make sure we got it. Heather even helped me (the bride) take off my wedding heels and put on my dancing shoes when it would be difficult for me to do it myself. They really care, have the expertise to do a great job, and have the flexibility to make a specific couple's vision come to life. We're writing this review 2.5 months after our wedding and have had several friends speak about how great they were, many of them knowing the duo on a first name basis. It was also great to work with them together as they understood each other's styles, planned ahead, and could easily be trusted to operate in sync, leaving us relaxed to enjoy the weeks before and day of the wedding.
We feel immense gratitude toward this very talented duo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. -

We are SO glad we hired Christophe from Willmus Weddings to do our photography & videography for our wedding at Kona Kai in October! Christophe was friendly, professional, and so easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding, we were comfortable with everything and his communication was on point. The day of the wedding he made taking photos a truly enjoyable experience. Not only is he a great photographer, but also has a great sense of humor and is just and all around nice person to be around. When we got back our photos & video we were absolutely delighted with how they turned out. The photos are just gorgeous and he captured our wedding day perfectly. From the getting-ready photos, family portraits, bridal couple photos, dance floor, and all the details in between, the photos are stunning. We couldn't be happier with his work. We initially weren't sure about doing videography or not but WOW I a so glad we decided to because the video also turned out amazing. While Christophe's amazing portfolio speaks for itself, my husband and I wanted to share our five-star experience with him capturing our engagement and wedding day photos!
Christophe thoughtfully planned our photoshoots with us and advised us how we should structure our day to ensure we captured all the important moments. He has extensive knowledge of the best areas to take photos in Coronado Island and La Jolla and came up with photo spots we never would have thought of.
Our friends and family all remarked how easy-going, friendly and fun the photo experience was, as Christophe helped guide us through the photos, ensuring we were engaged, having fun and being ourselves. He struck the perfect balance of providing direction for poses, but also capturing candid moments.
Lastly, Christophe's attention to detail was evident all day. He helped spot and correct small details with wardrobe, hair and poses to ensure we had picture perfect moments. Best planning and coordination!
Hiring Heather for planning and coordination was, hands down, the single best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. (We also LOVED Christophe as our videographer; my husband is writing a review for him.) When I first started thinking about who to hire as our planner, I interviewed four different, well-regarded planners. But I immediately knew Heather was the one for us. She was calm, knew her stuff, and on top of her job. I really appreciated her unique combo of getting down to business right away but still being a sweet, genuine, kind person who you'd want to be best friends with. All of this rang true throughout our planning process! She helped us source our biggest vendors from start to finish, something that would have caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. Heather's knowledge of and relationship with local vendors gave me a lot of relief and comfort - making our planning process not only relatively stress free but also fun. She was able to help us achieve the look and feel we wanted while coming in at or even below budget for each component.
On our wedding day, she executed everything so smoothly that we didn't need to worry about a thing. I'm sure there were plenty of things and details behind-the-scenes that she took care of and preemptively handled so that they didn't even need to come to our attention - so we could just enjoy and not worry on our day. Our wedding day was even better than we could have dreamed, and Heather played a significant role in why!
I am a rather anxious person and a huge planner at work myself, so it's rare for me to feel completely trusting of someone to "take over" - but I found that I trusted Heather throughout the planning and coordination for our wedding. Her experience, warm personality, and ability to "get things done" makes her the best choice we made for our wedding planning. She has our strongest recommendation, you won't regret hiring her! -

Photography & Videography:
We had a wonderful experience with Christophe for our engagement session as well as on our wedding day. From the very start of the process he made us feel at ease. We aren’t usually super comfortable in front of cameras, but Christophe effortlessly guided us, fostering a sense of comfort and fun that translated beautifully into some truly awesome photos and videos.
Christophe's creativity, patience, and efficiency were evident in every interaction. During our engagement shoot he took the time to get a sense of who we were and how we responded to the camera to get us comfortable and moving. By the end of it we were buzzing and immediately became excited about working with him again for the wedding. During our wedding, Christophe and his team seamlessly integrated themselves into the day, working in harmony with us and the wedding party to ensure that every significant moment was captured. Their professionalism and unobtrusive presence allowed us to be fully present in the moment while knowing that the most precious moments were being captured throughout. The results surpassed our highest expectations. Each image and frame tells a story, and every time we look back at them we’re warmed and reminded of so many memories with each other and with our family and friends.

“She plans, He captures” really doesn’t do justice to this extraordinary dynamic duo.
Our wedding was based in Julian, not at a venue but at a family home with very limited cell phone service. Despite all the possible limitations, these two got it together.
Whether it was pre-wedding cocktail meetings at cool bars, endless rambling phone calls, to advocating on our behalf, Heather and Christophe made the wedding of our dreams a physical reality.
Heather’s meticulous organization and detailed checklists ensured every aspect was perfect, while Christophe’s boundless enthusiasm and positive energy kept us excited throughout the planning of our wedding.

Our wedding planner introduced us to Christophe, and WOW we are so glad that we met this wonderful and talented human being. On the wedding day -- Christophe just brought such good energy to the room. He has such a caring heart and a knack for capturing the perfect moments.
And once we got our wedding video -- my partner and I couldn't stop smiling throughout the whole video. It's on constant replay. Christophe brings both fun and exciting elements to the video, while carefully incorporating the sweet, tender moments of the big day.

Willmus Weddings froze our moment to be enjoyed for generations!
My new husband and I have not had the greatest photography moments in our lives, but Willmus Weddings and crew proved us differently. Waiting a month after feeling so hesitant about our wedding was well worth it and not sure why I spent the energy. Christophe was incredible from the moment he pulled out the camera to the moment there were tears streaming down our faces from staring at our pictures, jaw open wide. While we needed direction for poses and what not, Christophe was also open to all our ideas and desires of memories needed. The enthusiasm in his craft made the experience great for everyone in attendance. I highly encourage photo and video since there were moments captured, I did not know existed. Needless to say, our wedding video has been watched almost every day since receiving it. Heather’s a calm presence, great communicator, thoughtful, and very organized. She answered all my questions throughout the wedding planning process. Even the day before the wedding when I was stressed about the excessive heat warning, she was calm and gave great suggestions. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond - coordinated the vendors, made sure the itinerary go smoothly, checked on the wedding party, took care of all the details including setup, and storing/organizing all our items neatly. She even made sure to keep us hydrated and fed throughout the day! :) My family and wedding party all complimented on how efficient and organized Heather was. Christoph and his team made the wedding photo experience easy and fun! We are usually pretty awkward and stiff in photos, but we looked great and natural in the photos. Christophe was so on top of the schedule and helped us with the logistics through the whole day, even among the getting-ready chaos. Our wedding party was comfortable and had a lot fun with the creative photo ideas. I LOVED the photos from the sneak peak! We could feel the happiness of the day just looking back to the photos. Willmus Weddings is hands down the best team ever! We hired Heather and Christophe in October 2021 to design, coordinate, and photograph our August 2022 wedding and it was the best decision we ever made! This short review doesn't do any of the incredible work both Heather and Christophe did any justice as we would not have been able to pull off the perfect wedding without them and words can't begin to describe how grateful we were to have found them.
--- Planning/Coordination---
My partner and I spoke with a handful of planners, but as soon as we spoke to Heather on the phone we knew she was the one. We just got good vibes from her right off the bat and knew she'd be perfect to help us throw an awesome wedding. Over the course of the process, Heather shared a ton of extremely helpful checklists and timelines to keep us on track and organized. She had the perfect touch of helping and reminding us to make certain decisions without making us feel like we were running behind schedule. She also had the perfect recommendations when we asked about certain vendors (Hair & Make Up, DJ, Florals etc) and did all the legwork to contact her network to make sure folks were available before even sending us their contact information. This alone saved us hours of research trying to find the perfect vendor and then waiting for their response back. I can't even begin to quantify how helpful it was to be presented with a few options of trusted vendors that Heather knew were the best of the best to choose from. As we got closer to the wedding, Heather walked us through our "day of" timeline and confirmed all the little details we would never have thought about if not for her. She triple-checked everything with our vendors, sharing the timeline with them and ensuring everything ran smoothly (and it did!). On our wedding day, we were both very calm and relaxed knowing that Heather and her assistant Clemence had everything taken care of at the venue. Our parents and several of our guests marveled at how many planners we must have hired to keep everything on track when we really only had Heather and Clemence helping. They made our day absolutely perfect!
----Design----
My partner and I had no idea what we were doing when it came to designing the overall theme and vibe of the wedding and knew we needed extra help. Heather talked us through all the various design elements and turned our very vague descriptions (i.e., we like Hawaii, we like bright flowers) into the most amazing tropical wedding vision. She nailed what we wanted on the first try and helped us find the right vendors to turn the vision into reality. While meeting with various vendors she conveyed our vision and recommended different design changes or additions based on our questions/feedback. It was incredible to see everything come together on our wedding day and we absolutely could not have done it without Heather!
----Photography/Videography----
My partner and I had never taken any professional photos before and weren't sure what to expect, but felt right at ease under Christophe's guidance. He made us look so natural and our engagement photos turned out so well - we were extremely excited to work with him again on our wedding day. On our wedding day, Christophe arrived with his team (one additional photographer, one videographer) and got right to work taking hundreds of photos of every little detail. He was able to corral our large and rowdy families and wedding party to get the perfect group shots and managed to do so efficiently so we could release the guests back to the wedding festivities. Christophe took my partner and I outside and around the venue to take hundreds of individual shots and expertly directed us and his team to make sure we got the perfect shot in the perfect lighting. When we got our photos and video back we were absolutely floored at how well they came out and how beautiful each and everyone looked. It brings us so much joy to look back at all the details Christophe captured. The way he edited both the teaser and the full video is truly something else - we look like Hollywood movie stars! We can't wait to watch it for years to come! In addition to taking the perfect photos and videos, Christophe and his team went above and beyond being friendly and talking to our wedding party and families - several of the groomsmen commented that they missed him after he left! He even left a little surprise photo in our guest book that made us both laugh out loud - exceptional people!

From the moment my now husband and I spoke to Christophe, we knew we loved his personality, but it wasn't until the moment that we saw his videography work that we knew we had to hire him as our wedding videographer. In the months and days leading up to our wedding day, he was prompt, communicative and simply a pleasure to work with. He also collaborated well with our wedding photographer.
Everyone says that your wedding day goes by so fast that it can be a bit of a blur and it's true, so we were ecstatic to see all the beautiful intricate details, guests' reactions and emotions that Christophe captured on video that we otherwise would have missed. He also told us what to expect for the turnaround time for video editing, which we appreciated.

Hiring Heather and Christophe was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We are a couple that tended to procrastinate on wedding prep and finalizing details, so it was super helpful to have Heather around to make sure we actually got all the pieces together for our big day! We definitely couldn't have done it without her support and expertise. In addition, we are really grateful for her flexibility, as we postponed the wedding a total of THREE times, and she was always responsive to all our email communications during that time.
We initially had hired a different vendor for videography, but when that fell through due to pandemic-related postponements, we were so fortunate to be able to book Christophe. In hindsight, I think this was a blessing in disguise, as Christophe was the most amazing person to work with and I can't imagine having a better person to capture our day! He was so easy to work with, always smiling and with a cheerful outlook, helped us feel at ease in front of the camera, and had many creative ideas for the video. Easily the most significant return on investment for our entire wedding, you will never go wrong with leaving it up to Heather to deliver a memorable, adventurous experience!
My wife and I wanted to host our reception in San Diego, even though we live in the bay area, so we had to look for a wedding planner and day-of coordinator to help us out. After contacting several planners in the area, what sold us with Heather, amongst others, was her stellar track record and her flexibility to work with us through this entire process remotely.
In roughly five months, Heather virtually took care of everything. She dealt with all the headaches and pain points of managing a reception, gave us a concrete game plan (and tasteful suggestions) on what we had to act on once we decided on our venue, and referred us to some of San Diego's top-notch vendors, all while fitting our timeline and budget. All I had to do was book my flights for the tastings, sign the forms, pay my vendors on time, and Heather took care of everything else!
We were also very impressed with how she handled everything on the reception night. Despite the setbacks of moving our dinner plans indoors due to the weather not cooperating, we miraculously stayed on schedule, and not once did we ever have to worry about the little things as Heather always seemed to be on top of things.

We loved our experience with Wilmus Weddings! We hired Christophe for photography and videography and everything turned out perfectly! Christophe was so easygoing and organized from start to finish. We were planning our daughter's wedding in CA from Texas, a daunting task, and all the correspondence we had with him was seamless. We always got his replies within minutes on everything. The day of the wedding, he was able to organize our large group for all the photos we had listed for him in a very timely manner. The photos at the reception were all beautiful as well, capturing all the moments and emotions just as we had hoped. The video he made was absolute perfection. We couldn't have asked for more. He is extremely talented. We are so grateful for the memories we can keep of our daughter's wedding day because of his professionalism and attention to detail.
We also hired Heather for our final details and day of coordinating. She was so personable and kind, listening to all the concerns I had in getting all the vendors on the same page as far as timing and decorating. She was able to take a huge weight off of me as mother of the bride, especially in planning all of the final details from 3 states away. On the day of the wedding, all I had to do was arrive at the reception, which was held at a different location than the wedding and a few hours later. When we got there, everything was in place and in perfect order. It looked amazing, despite the fact that we had an outdoor reception under a tent in the freezing cold and rain! She kept the evening flowing with a timeline she had helped us put together. I never had to worry or check on anything. It made the reception something I was able to enjoy! She even helped us get a spill out of my daughter's dress and no one even noticed there had been a mishap. My sanity on this day was all due to Heather. I can't thank her enough. -

We hired Heather for the full service wedding planning and honestly having her by our side from start to finish her was worth every penny. Heather is incredibly organized, thoughtful, thorough, and just a joy to work with. You can feel her passion for this industry and having her guide us through every last detail took a lot of the stress off of us because we totally trusted her and knew we were in good hands. We hired Heather as our Month/Day of Coordinator and she absolutely exceeded all expectations. Heather is a true, real life angel and just the sweetest and kindest soul! She was such a pleasure to work with and her calming, positive energy always brought me peace during the moments I needed it most. She promptly addressed any & all questions/concerns I had throughout planning and never once made me feel like I was being a crazy bride, even though I'm certain I was at times. Our vision for the ceremony and reception wouldn't have come to life without Heather and we'll be forever grateful for all that she did for us in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the wedding and of course the day of. Heather is knowledgable, detail-oriented, efficient, and did everything to ensure that the whole day ran smoothly. We had a lot of decor (florals, candles, various stationery, signs, frames, etc.) and we are so appreciative for all of the unpacking/setting up + organizing/repacking and transporting she did before & after the event. Heather did all of the heavy lifting, which really allowed us to enjoy every moment of the day, completely stress free.
We hired Christophe as our Photographer/Videographer and again, he went above & beyond for us just as Heather did. First of all, he is the funnest Photographer/Videographer ever! His positive, high energy is contagious and he made us all feel so comfortable the entire day. Being on camera is not our favorite thing, but Christophe did a fabulous job getting us over the awkwardness and from what we've seen so far, he was able to capture our truest selves on camera. The day after the wedding, we received the best surprise - 20+ sneak peek photos! It was completely unexpected, but was such an amazing gift as we soaked in all of the feels from a fabulous weekend. We cannot wait to see the rest of the photos and video!
To top off the most perfect wedding day, Heather & Christophe shared another sweet surprise with us right after the ceremony - their son, Pierre! My husband had previously made a comment hoping they'd bring him to the wedding, and they delivered yet again! He is the sweetest boy and just such a doll, it was so nice to meet him and see his cute face in person!
My husband and I, along with our friends & family are still talking about how amazing this day was and how kind, sweet, caring, fun, and helpful Heather & Christophe both were. I truly don't think there are enough words to thank you, but I hope you can feel the love and gratitude we have for you both. We started wedding planning in early 2019 for our original 10/10/20 wedding date, but ended up deciding to postpone during the Summer of 2020. As a bride, planning a wedding through a pandemic had its challenges; but it doesn't even compare to the challenges Heather & Christophe have faced working in the wedding industry as a professional Wedding Planner & Photographer/Videographer. I can only imagine what they've gone through over the last couple years, but their dedication to their clients and perseverance is admirable. Run, do not walk, go get Willmus Weddings as your planner!! We booked Heather in 2019 for month of coordination and design services for our wedding in San Diego. Worth every single penny. With covid, our 2020 wedding got pushed back to 2021. Heather answered every single email I sent for almost 2 years with my countless questions regarding decor, vendors, seating chart, possible venue change, opinions and recommendations on countless random things! For design services, she put together a beautiful design board and helped me source all the decor I wanted. She went out of her way to find a welcome sign where the Etsy shop closed down and they agreed to make it for us. When we got closer to the wedding, Heather and I had a couple calls to nail down all the details. She is incredibly organized and thorough. It didn’t feel that I was ever forgetting anything and she made it so much easier. For our rehearsal, she helped make sure we all knew what we were doing and felt good about it. On our wedding day, I think I could rave for hours about her. I had been running around trying to get everything together and as soon as she got there, her and her assistant took over and made sure I was taken care of and I didn’t lift a finger. Everything turned out so perfect, there was no issues from what I could see. Even at the end of the night she checked in with us to make sure we knew where our decor would be, if we needed anything, etc. I seriously cannot recommend her enough. -

I wasn’t even sure how to begin this review which is why it took me so long to post it after the wedding. Working with Heather Willmus as our Day-Of-Coordinator was an absolute dream! She was the perfect blend I needed of directness and professionalism, coupled with friendliness and a completely positive and unbridled desire to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. Her attention to detail was remarkable and her patience was nothing short of magic, as I’m quite a handful. She never failed to follow up with me on a detail that I may have let slip through the cracks during the weeks preceding the event. With so many things going on, it’s easy to exclude certain tiny bits of information but not one thing was left uncovered or untended to. Heather’s correspondence with each and every vendor was seamless and she was so great at keeping me in the loop, while also keeping me out of anything I didn’t need to know about. The day of our wedding was no different. I’m sure they was more than one crisis that occurred that I will likely never know about. She made sure that our wedding was on track as it should be and was such an absolute delight to have bouncing around as she effortlessly managed all of the complexities of our 125 person wedding that included a wedding party of eighteen *gulp*. Thankfully, she was a preferred vendor from our venue, the Horton Grand Hotel in San Diego. She already had an inside knowledge of how everything operated and a great relationship with their team. I cannot speak highly enough of Heather and while we were unable to utilize her husband’s photography services due to availability, I guarantee that this delightful couple will make each and every component of your wedding, or any other event, amazing if you allow them to!

Heather was so professional and experienced with planning it's crazy. She covers A LOT of ground which is great. She was always responsive to us and was great with communicating with our vendors nearing the wedding. All of the planning docs she sent us were super organized and it helped so much getting everything planned. She has a team of coordinators working for her and we actually had to change our day-of coordinator once prior to the wedding. Heather was great at making sure the coordinators on our wedding day were caught up and up to speed way in advanced. The coordinators were so kind and they were always checking in with me and Catherine. Of course we were having a blast the whole day and night but it was nice knowing they can manage a wedding and check in on us at the same time. Where do I start?! Choosing Christophe as our videographer (as well as his second shooter, Clay, which we recommend a second shooter if you want all your special moments captured) was one of the best and easiest decisions my wife and I made through the whole wedding planning process! (Shout out The Abbey for recommending him!) Since the day we got connected, he was always on top of communication through email as he thoughtfully did his best to meet our every wish we had leading up to our big day. His contract was well put together and any payment to him was made easy through Venmo.
Fast forward to the day of our wedding, working with him and Clay went so smoothly as they creatively caught every shot we wanted throughout the day, even an awesome 360 video at the end of our ceremony! They professionally stayed on the schedule we had as they made sure to be where they needed to be to capture every special moment from the both of us getting ready to us getting down on the dance floor. We greatly appreciated their commitment to excellence as they rushed to be at every next spot, especially when we were getting footage at sunset by the cliffs of La Jolla, which was unforgettable.
Fast forward to the final product, we loved the one-minute preview he put together for us to post as we anticipated and waited for the final edit. I believe we were told the final edit would take 6-8 weeks after the wedding to get it, but he actually finished it in less than a month as he invested his time and efforts to get it to us as soon as he could. My wife and I are truly thankful for him and Clay for capturing our day as we now get to look back to how incredible it was as we share it with friends and family! A HUGE thank to Christophe's dedication and time in capturing and editing as the video is a gift we will cherish for years to come. -

We hired Christophe for our wedding videography and engagement photos. He did a great job and did not disappoint! He was an amazing help and a pleasure to work with. He was so patient and easy going, but also provided the right amount of guidance to make sure we looked great for our photos/video. The week of my engagement shoot, the weather forecast wasn’t looking great. Christophe followed up with me throughout the week to make sure we were ready with a backup plan just in case. Luckily, the weather was mostly decent the day of the shoot and we were able to capture a good number of photos before it started to sprinkle. Even though rain started coming down, Christophe still worked through the weather and captured some neat rain photos.
For the wedding, Christophe was very efficient with his time and made sure there was video coverage for all the moments I wanted to capture. He did a great job wrangling my wedding party as well, they were being a bit rowdy, but Christophe was completely professional and managed them well.
Christophe, thank you for being an amazing person to work with!

Heather was easy going and rolled with our choices, providing sage advice where needed. Her help as a 'Day of Coordinator' was crucial - from getting the site ready with all the physical elements across multiple locations, to the little things - like bringing us bites to eat during picture time, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff like loading our car with gifts/take home items, and most importantly - she triple checked with us to make sure I was OK to drive home (safety first!). We're grateful to have had Heather in our corner to reduce the stress of the day. -

We cannot possibly say enough about this incredible husband-and-wife team. Heather was our amazing wedding planner, and Christophe shot both our engagement and wedding photos. As an East Coast couple planning a West Coast destination wedding, we couldn’t have asked for more. Heather is an organized and creative dynamo who led us through every step and helped keep us on track through all the decisions (big and small) to make our event special and personal. Willmus Weddings was exceptional! I really needed someone to help coordinate my wedding the month before and I saw great reviews on Weddingwire and Yelp about the company and I decided to give them a shot. Heather Willmus has amazing organization skills because she was able to think of the little things that I forgot to consider for our wedding. I basically just answered all the questions she had and she just went with it and everything came together perfectly the day of the wedding. She was on top of everything and I literally didn't feel at all super stressed during the day of the wedding. There was even a hiccup of where the power went out during my reception and Heather was on it right away. I wouldn't change my wedding for anything! Loved every minute of it and I'm super sad that it's over! Thanks Heather for everything! -

We just used Christophe Willmus for our small wedding and he was absolutely amazing! It really felt like he knew what he was doing and was very efficient. We had him for only 4 hours and he really made the most of the time we had. He is also experienced in shooting catholic wedding ceremonies so he was able to be knowledgeable and considerate during the ceremony. Would highly recommend! -

Dream Team!
Willmus Weddings is the dream team of wedding planning and photography. For this purpose, I will review them separately.
Heather is the mastermind for the wedding planning portion of Willmus Weddings. I enjoyed planning for my wedding, but just needed an extra hand on the day of to make sure everything went as planned. Boy, I was so happy she offered more than just being the day of coordinator. From the very beginning, she helped me stay organized and kept me on track for making sure vendors were booked, invitations were mailed, favors were bought, etc. She thought of all the minor details that I had forgotten about. When the big day came, she was on site early and made sure the groom and I were taken care of throughout the day. She literally took ALL stress away from us. Everything that day went off without a glitch thanks to Heather!
Christophe is Heather’s husband and he is the photography guru who made everyone present at the wedding very photogenic. He came to the venue early and scooped out all of the areas for the perfect background and lighting before we even started taking pictures. He directed all the poses and the all the photos looked very natural and not staged. We love how he captured all the candid pictures of our guests. He was like a ninja and it seemed like he was able to be in two places at once. We got our pictures back around a month after our wedding and we have loved every single one that he took. To top it off, he has an awesome French accent.
Like I said in the beginning, Willmus Weddings is the dream team of wedding planning and photography.

As we approached our wedding date (6 weeks out) it became quite clear that we needed help with the final details of our wedding. That's when we found Willmus Weddings! Heather was prompt to respond and met with us immediately.
Our initial meeting with Heather was incredible. She was so well organized and asked us questions about details that we didn't even think of. I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her. By the next day she had already established a timeline and itinerary for the big day, both of which were extremely detailed.
We got married at Admiral Kidd Club (on a military base). The rules and paperwork for guests and vendors was a pain but Heather assured me that she's worked on many military bases here in San Diego and is familiar with the rules. Heather managed sourcing all the paperwork from vendors and organized everything for me to send off to security. She made this process as painless as it could be.
Heather was a pro when it came to the venue walk through. She arranged for all my vendors to attend to understand the lay of the land, arrival and set up times etc.. She made sure every detail was accounted for.
Heather also organized the rehearsal. She is impressive. I had a fairly large bridal party with sponsors. She successfully managed to wrangle everyone to walk us through the procession, ceremony and recessional. At the end she was prepared with copies of timelines for everyone so that they knew where they needed to be and when.
Sadly, I knew going into this that Heather would not be my day of coordinator as she was already booked. But she assured me that she would have two amazing coordinators there on our big day. Queue Nicole and Melinda. Nicole and Melinda were nothing short of amazing. Our big day ran so smoothly and on time. Nicole and Melinda were super sweet to my guests and to us. Throughout the night they ensured we were well taken care of and that we had everything we needed, including drinks from the bar :)
The room was set up beautifully just as I had imagined. I was worried about things going wrong or being asked a million questions the day of but Nicole and Melinda handled everything and shielded us from any stress. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done.
If you are looking for a responsive, detail oriented, and experienced wedding coordinator you need to work with Willmus. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and it would not have gone so smoothly without this team. Heather and team ensured that there was no confusion, delays, and no rock unturned. If you are on the fence of hiring a wedding coordinator, know that an investment into Willmus is something you will not regret! -

From start to finish, I don't think we could have chosen a better coordinator than Heather to carry out our vision for our wedding! We hired Heather as our month-of-coordinator and she went above and beyond our expectations. By our first meeting, she had already reached out to all of our vendors to secure a time and a date for the final walk thru and looked over all of our contracts to ensure we were getting what we paid for. She kept us in the loop every step of the way and was extremely accommodating when we made changes to the plan (which happened often)! Walking into the wedding, I was blown away with the work that Heather had done for us! She made sure everything was perfect down to the smallest of details. If you're planning a wedding, you MUST hire Heather if you want your special day to be stress free and to live up to all of your expectations. She is the best of the best!!
