AMAZING! Highly Recommend!

Where do I even begin...
We are so glad we hired William as our wedding photographer. He definitely exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond. His work is amazing and his work ethic is exceptional. We booked with him about 10 months before the wedding and the planning process was just easier with him as a photographer. He answered every question we had and is very responsive. He does a run down of the day with you a couple of days before the wedding day and before the big day he sends you a follow up which we appreciated. He listens to the way you envision your wedding day and turns that out into reality. We had him booked for 10 hours and we wanted to have someone during the night for the reception. He offered to have the second photographer shoot in the morning and him in the afternoon and throughout the night. This worked out very well and all the moments that we want to be captured WERE CAPTURED in a beautiful way, he did not miss anything!

He made sure we were comfortable throughout the night and him and the second photographer in his team Mike, were on their feet throughout the day and night. They are so down to earth and very experience based on the quality worked that was offered to us. William also knew of all the great spots to take photos. We are so happy with the photos and every time we go through them it bring us back to that day. He emails you a digital album with all the photos that can be shared with family and friends. A couple of days later you get an high quality USB in the mail with all the photos to keep. If you are in need of a wedding photographer, William is your guy! Highly recommend, you will not regret it!

William Chang is a class act and I would recommend him highly to anyone needing any type of photography services. We hired William for our wedding (April 2018). We used him for 2 days because we had a Chinese banquet on Saturday and a Western wedding on Sunday. I hired him based on his excellent reviews and also because I wanted a photographer who could speak to my fiancé’s family in Cantonese (an added surprise, he even spoke their dialect, Taishan). Will even gave us a little discount after I asked, since we were spending a lot for 2 days of services. I have not seen his finished product from our wedding just yet, but of course I saw many photos that he took before hiring him and all looked phenomenal. Will was extremely professional, patient, kind and understanding throughout the entire process. A few days to a week before the wedding, as I was reaching out to my other vendors to finalize plans, Will reached out to me first to see how I was doing and to make sure I had no questions. He is so nice and really shows that he cares about you as a client. I can’t wait to see his amazing pictures from our wedding. If I ever need a professional photographer again, for anything, there’s no one else I would hire except Will!

William Chang is professional and friendly. He's also got the patience of a saint. I highly recommend him as a photographer.

We hired William for the following services: engagement photo shoot, wedding day photographer, wedding day photo booth (Momobooth), rush photo printing (20x30 canvas), and wedding photo album.

During our first meeting, William took the time to show us his work and samples of the gorgeous flat-lay wedding albums. More importantly, he asked us questions to get a sense of what WE were looking for in our wedding photos. We never felt pressured to book immediately or book add-on's if we didn't need them.

During the engagement shoot, William was super patient when my feet started hurting (dying) from walking around Central Park in heels. Our shoot ran over by an hour, but William never rushed me as I hobbled to the next shooting location. Another thing we really appreciated about William are his simple directions while shooting. He doesn't over-direct.

As for the wedding day, he was great. He showed up early to scout a first-look location around our hotel. He worked quickly at Jane's Carousel (DUMBO) when we found a spot that wasn't crowded. He got great pics of the ceremony without being a distraction. I didn't even notice him. He and his assistant took endless group pics during the reception.

Momobooth was loved by our guests. It's an enclosed booth with a cloth backdrop. The booth comes with an attendant and photo props. The guests get to choose from a few photo layouts. I was able to customize the layouts. One nice bonus feature is getting a soft copy of all the photo booth pics taken throughout the night.

William made editing the wedding album an easy process by starting it for me. He formats each page and chooses pics that tell the story of the wedding day. When you have a 1,000+ pics to look through, you appreciate getting some help.

William made our lives easier. Everything was convenient.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with William Chang and his team. He was very professional and responded to emails and texts promptly. He was very friendly during all our meetings and listened to our preferences. Our engagement and wedding photos came out great and everyone loved them. We were also impressed with how professional William and Henley (his team member) were while they took photos during the wedding. They were always inconspicuous while they snapped photos. Most of the photos taken during the wedding event were candid shots that put us in our best light. We also had moments when we took posed shots that turned out beautiful. We got the package with the album, & the album is no joke. It's made with quality materials and the photos look even more beautiful printed in the album than on the computer. I didn't think that was possible! William is also very tech savvy. We got to view photos and edit our album online. We also receive the flash drives containing all the photos taken as part of the package. I found out my cousin also booked William for his wedding a couple of months later and we were happy to see him again.

We hired William for our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with his quality of work and professionalism. William is very personable, detailed-oriented, and great to work with. With his experience, he has a lot of great ideas but he was also open to ours. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos taken by William and his team. The caliber of his work and artistry is evident in his portfolio, but he's also incredibly professional, detail-oriented and easy to work with. Cannot say enough great things about this photographer.
• Pros: William Chang Photography was the best of all our wedding vendors. William was amazing to work with from day one. 1) His response time to emails is often almost immediate, which was SO helpful when we had questions during our wedding planning. 2) William is super organized. Prior to our pre-wedding meeting, he sent us a questionnaire to complete to ensure he had all important wedding day information – and then we discussed in our pre-wedding meeting. 3) Finished photos are turned around in great time – we never struggled to secure photos or had to ask when we could expect them. 4) Finally, WCP’s photography is beautiful – his photos are very bright and clear and the moments captured are perfect. WCP did a great job capturing the special moments of our engagement, wedding shower, and wedding day. Bonus – in addition to being able to download your photos from his site, he has an app that allows you to house all photos right on your phone! Needless to say, we highly recommend.

I researched photographers and after getting extremely absurd quotes for photography services, I was feeling a little discouraged that I wouldn't find a great photographer for a reasonable rate. I discovered William Chang Photography on a Google search and was amazed at his work. William was super fast in responding to my inquiry and I scheduled an appointment quickly. When we met with William, we viewed his work and coincidentally, the album he showed us, I happened to know the couple that he photographed. That immediately made me feel awesome that someone I knew used him too. The appointment was so easy and William didn't try to rush us to "seal the deal". He took the time to explain his technique. When he showed us his packages, my husband & I sighed in relief because it was REASONABLE in our budget! We left his studio feeling like "we found him!" We booked William soon after meeting other photographers and they just didn’t compare. William was always RELIABLE in responding fast to email. When you are the bride trying to keep calm and not turn into a Bridezilla, this was incredibly important. When the wedding day finally came, William & his crew arrived on time, didn't waste any time in snapping away and was extremely helpful in getting all my relatives in order for the pre-requisite family portraits. Throughout the day, him & his crew worked hard capturing all the details. When the pics were ready to be reviewed, we had a hard time shaving down the awesome pics to fit album. Few short weeks later, the album arrived and it is absolutely beautiful! I have no hesitations recommending William to be your photographer for your wedding. He is professional, warm, fun and overall, super creative with a great artistic vision for his photos. From the moment my husband and I viewed William's gallery online, we immediately knew that William was not merely a photographer, but an artist and storyteller of the highest order. We used William for both our Engagement Photos and our Wedding Photos and without a doubt, he captured all the moments we expected and more. With every picture we viewed, not only were we able to recall the moment, but somehow each picture brought back exactly how we felt in those moments. We relived our favorite memory in every way possible and I am so overjoyed to know that decades from now, when our grandchildren ask us about our wedding, they will see the full, beautiful story recreated in thoughtful, timeless album. William is GREAT! He came recommended by a friend, my wife and I checked out his work, and when we sat down and met with him we were sold. William listens and is very receptive to your ideas, and has great ideas and creativity of his own. He is very professional, and you can tell right away that he knows what he is doing, and is knowledgeable about his craft. He’s responsive and attentive when you reach out. Responding quickly the same day. He’s very thorough, making sure to hit each point, making sure we had ample input and the things we want were more than taken care of.

During all our sessions, from the engagement shoot to the wedding day it seemed like Will was EVERYWHERE. Constantly clicking away, and making sure he captured everything and not losing a single moment. He always went above and beyond for us. He actually ended up leaving our venue on the day of the wedding later than we did. He made everything fun, relaxing, and exciting. And we could not be happier to have shared our time with him.

William is extremely talented in capturing special moments. He has a tasteful eye of what pictures / poses will work. During our engagement photo session, my husband and I were so impressed with how quick but efficient William was during the shoot because we really didn't want to pay for an additional hour. Once I met you the very first time, I fell in love with your work. All of the pictures that William takes are all very genuine, and not staged. William would sink himself into a puddle of Mud if he felt like it would be a perfect shoot. Our engagement pictures came out great, and throughout our wedding, William followed our schedule, was very professional, and made us feel comfortable. We knew that having William as our photographer is one of our best decisions for our perfect wedding!

I recommend William Chang Photography without hesitation. We used his services for engagement and wedding photos and could not be happier. His pictures range from great to GORGEOUS. He is truly an artist, several photos look like they could be from a fashion magazine or movie poster. His shots use the environment in creative ways to make the whole picture stunning from border to border. As time has passed since our wedding, the impact of the pictures has increased as they become the timeline to help our memories.

But above all, William (and his assistants) is a true gentleman, the service experience dealing with him can only be classified as top tier, he makes you feel like a VIP.

William Chang was the only vendor we used for our wedding who I have NO complaints about. He was very flexible with our rushed timeline and non traditional venue and still managed to get plenty of great shots. We love the album and always receive compliments on the creativity of the photos.
Cant wait to have an occassion where we can work with William again.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my pictures! I had the pleasure of stumbling upon William Chang's photos online and to my surprise I looked no further! William is extremely nice, professional, and fun to work with. He shot my engagement photos as well as my wedding photos. Both series came out great! My photos are original, artistic, and just what I wanted. Not only did he have great ideas he was also open to any ideas we had as well. We took our photos down in Dumbo and I could not be happier! My engagement photos have a great urban feel and my wedding photos just scream NY. For my wedding photos we chose to have a combination of traditional and contemporary photos. From photos with our checkered taxi to photos on carousel horses to group family photos our day was captured beautifully! If you visit his site you can get a taste of the type of photos he is capable of doing! Our friends and family still can't believe the shots! They think they are amazing! I recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer.

I am a photographer myself but while searching for photographers for my sister's wedding. I came across William's work and the images stood out to me. His images are sharp and he has a natural eye. We love our engagement photos from William Chang Photography!!! I found William from just googling around and was thrilled I was able to find him. He promptly (within 30 minutes!) got back to me about his engagement photo packages. For such a talented photographer, he was extremely flexible in scheduling us into his busy schedule and was fairly priced, that it was a no brainer that we book him for our engagement photos.

William goes above and beyond what we asked for in our engagement shoot, even when we told him that we already booked another photographer for our destination wedding. I like how he still tried to get to really know my fiance and I. He's really easy going and fun to be around, but really knows how to shoot and get the right shots. My finance and I really liked all his direction and suggestions on how to look. We have never felt so comfortable around any other photographer than William. At times he'd have us do our own thing and when we looked around to see where he was, we'd be surprised that he'd be laying flat on the floor or on top of something trying to get interesting shots. We were a bit time crunched when going to our last shooting location (he even drove us there!), but William made every effort to make sure we got the pictures we wanted. I'm glad we did our shoot with William, the pictures came out gorgeous. Very vibrant and crisp and clear. And he got them back to us just as quick!

We hired William Chang for our engagement photos. Being from California, my then Fiance and I thought it'd be fun to take our photos in New York. Even though we only communicated via email thousands of miles apart, the day could not have been more perfect. William knew exactly where to take us for our photos. And they turned out amazing! And he delivered them on time, as promised. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

We Love William Chang's services! We had our anniversary shoot with William. It was so much fun doing the shoot in South Street Seaport NYC! William was very easy to work with and took all of our "wants" and made it happen. His direction was easy to follow, and he was very accommodating to our personal wants and needs for the pictures. The pictures turned out beautiful. We love how the photos bring out our personality and our happiness together. Having our city in the background makes the pictures so special. Now we will be able to remember our two favorite things: NYC and each other. Thank-you William!

William Chang is the Man! A'vy and I had the pleasure to work with William for our wedding Photos.
I first approached William and asked if he was interested in taking my proposal pictures. He agreed and the results were great. It was candid shots of me getting on my knees and asking my wife to marry me. My wife did not know William was hiding and snapping from a far.
During my whole engagement to wedding process, William was very helpful in coordinating location and even drove us around. We had shots at Chelsea Piers SkyRink/USSINTREPID and Hudson river park. The shots came out wonderful! Plus, the wedding day shots at battery park were breath taking. It was a beautiful sunny day.
In Short, there is no way to describe how extravagant Williams Visions. I would recommend William Chang Photography to anyone that is looking for any type of occasion.

We had a fun and wonderful time working with William! He is not your average photographer! He was very open to all our ideas and even had great ones of his own that went accordingly to what we wanted.
He was very open to our schedule for our engagement shoot and we did not feel like we were rushed through it. He takes the time to really get to know us as a couple and individuals to incorporate the real us into our pictures. What we love about him is that he made every picture look so natural instead of the usual studio photographers which would make us pose in every shot. Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful! We had no complaints at all! During our wedding, he was very accommodating to our schedule and locations also. I would definitely use him again for any upcoming events in our future.

Best Wedding Photographer EVER! There are not enough words to say all of the wonderful things about William Chang. When I saw his work on his website, I was already drawn by the beautiful photos. He takes candid shots and provides a photo journalism feel... which was exactly what I was looking for. On our wedding day, he was amazing! He remembered everything we discussed and truly delivered. He has the passion and artistic eye... which allowed him to capture all the special moments on our big day. It was truly a great experience working with such a professional and friendly photographer. He was receptive to all of our requests and totally understood our vision. Not only did he make my husband and I feel comfortable while taking pictures, my wedding party had such remarkable things to say about him as well. William was our photographer for our engagement session and our wedding back in September of 2011. He was amazing. Although he is primarily a New York City photographer, he drove out almost to the Maryland border to our farm - early, just so he could capture the beauty of the surrounding before the guests arrived. As a result, we got some gorgeous still life shots of the grounds and all the little details that gave the farm it's character included in our photo package. He photographed us getting ready, my husband getting ready, the guests, the cake, the food, and of course, the wedding party and family. William pays great attention to every detail, including the way the light hits. He has a great artistic eye, and is creative, photographing things from different angles, using different lenses, and unique backdrops, ensuring that your photos come out fantastic and special. You can tell that he really loves what he does, and he makes it a fun experience for all. His prices are very reasonable and he will travel as well. We've already received our photos (within 3 weeks), and received so many compliments on them already. We are so glad we selected him to help us preserve our special memories.

William captures photos like no other. We've had 2 other sets of engagement photos and it just doesn't compare to what Will did for our engagement shoot and for our wedding. His pictures came out stunning and so vivid, its like I was reliving my wedding all over again.
My parents weren't able to attend the wedding, so all they will get to see are the pictures. With Will's amazing work, they will still get to enjoy it every bit as much as we did!

William was awesome! He was super friendly and listened to our concerns. We had our first engagement session during the first snow storm of the season and had to cut it short. William was very understanding and even allowed for us to have a make-up session. We were very happy with his services. Every time we look at our wedding pictures, we grow more and more in love with his work!

We were blessed to have William photograph our wedding. William is patient, professional, takes really awesome photos and knew just the right things to say to keep two very nervous brides calm. William's assistant Henley is also great and they work well as a team. We wanted someone to take great pictures and not be intrusive so we could enjoy our day. William did exactly that. He managed to capture moments and take the most beautiful photos a bride could ever want all without being intrusive.

When we look back on our wedding photos we will be forever grateful that we had William Chang as our photographer.

William Chang took professional engagement pictures for me and my husband in June 2012. We communicated via email for several weeks - he responds quickly and answers any questions you may have. When we met, he showed us albums and products that you may purchase thru him. And he doesn't pressure you into buying anything you don't want. We set up a date and the locales that we wanted to shoot.

The engagement shoot went very well. He will tell you how to pose exactly and he will capture the perfect angles and you can pitch ideas as you go along. We stuck to the preselected locations and William came up with a few improv locations/shots as well. We had him for a total of 3 hours and boy did the time fly by! I do warn that afterwards you will be very tired - be prepared to hold poses and natural smiles. William was professional, understanding, and was prepared for the unanticipated the whole time!

The teaser took a little more than 2 weeks to post on his website. All images were available for proofing within the month. And he sends a CD of all the corrected images within 2 months. After submitting the final revisions to your proof, took less than a month to receive the physical album. The album that we received was exactly what was discussed with no surprises with the layout that we chose. Couldn't be happier!
