We absolutely loved working with William Avery Photography!! The video and photos were the most important vendor to me, as this is the only thing you get to remember your special day by. From the start, William and his team were professional, organized, and so easy to be around. On our wedding day they were not only incredibly talented, but also very funny and personable, which kept us relaxed and laughing the entire time.
Will captured every moment with so much care, emotion, and attention to detail. The sneak peek photos completely blew us away— every. single. picture. is absolutely unreal!!! I get so excited everytime I remember there’s more pictures to come and an entire video!
If you want stunning photos and a talented team that makes the experience genuinely fun, do yourself a favor and hire them immediately!! The best decision we made hands down!

From our very first conversation, he was flexible with our needs and extremely helpful in understanding the vision of our wedding, all while providing insights that would help bring our vision to life. He put our minds at ease before we even arrived on site on wedding day. While onsite, Will and his team were professional, friendly, and had a knack for capturing my husband, myself, and our guests in our element. We absolutely loved the sneak peak images he shared with us and cannot wait to see the rest of them! Best photographer!
William Avery Photography took our engagement photos and left us speechless. I had a specific vision in mind, shared it with Will, and that’s all he needed. We did a location scout and chatted a few times before the day of the shoot. His communication with us was amazing. With the few inspo photos I shared with him and the couple times we chatted he gave me exactly what I wanted. He was extremely flexible too when we had to switch the dates around last minute and I was so grateful. I couldn’t be happier with our engagement pictures. He was so easy and fun to work with and made us feel so comfortable during the shoot! We even received our sneak peeks so quickly, I couldn’t believe it. I’d recommend Will to anyone, for any style of photography! A day hasn’t gone by that i don’t look at our photos. I am so grateful to have found such a great photographer -

Such an easy review to write. Will was nothing short of amazing to work with. He made the entire process seamless and stress free leading up to the wedding. He stayed in constant communication and gave great recommendations for photo locations.
Even torrential downpour on our wedding didn’t shake him. Our original plan went out the window for pre wedding photos but the new location he picked ended up being perfect. I know our photos will be timeless and so happy to be able to share these with everyone.
If you are looking for a great photographer that is easy and great to work with then Will is definitely the one for you. You will love and cherish these photos forever. -

Will and his team were an absolute dream to work with. We were planning a wedding in South Florida and Will was recommended to us by our wedding planner. Will made the trip down for our wedding weekend, captured our welcome party and wedding with extreme professionalism but at the same time was so easy to work with and made us feel extremely comfortable right from the start.
One short week after the wedding, we had our "sneak peaks". There was no shortage of sneak peaks! I was amazed with how many amazing photos he provided right away.

He was nothing short of amazing! We throughly enjoyed his presence on wedding day! He’s very communicative and knows how wedding day works inside and out! He’s very seasoned and experienced. I highly suggest either a bridal or your engagement photos before. He did the dang thing and got all of the shots!! Absolutely killed it! Do yourself a favor and hire him! -

Will and his team are professional yet so personable. They went above and beyond for us from the moment we booked with him. You spend the most time with your photographer team and it’s very important to do your research to insure a good fit. Will and his team knew exactly how to capture each portion of our day so well and seamlessly. Photos are one of the few things you can take from your wedding day and it’s so important to invest in. The first thing my husband said to me as we woke up the day after our wedding was “I’m so glad we hired Will”

Will was absolutely amazing, and that doesn't even begin to describe it! He shot our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. He was so kind to us throughout the whole process, and was so generous to even pick us up as a client. The way he edits his pictures is something out of a magazine. Pictures were one of the most important things for me for the wedding because that's what you get to keep and look at forever! And I am so so thankful we chose Will. Book your wedding with william avery photography
From the beginning Will was the absolute best with everything! Communication was great and even making accommodations to find the right package that worked best for us our wedding day. We choose to go with Allie as our photographer through William Avery Photography and she was an absolute gem! She followed up with us often leading up to our wedding day and we never even met in person. On our wedding day it was like we've always known her. Everything felt so natural with her and very professional from the communication to the photos captured on our wedding day. The turn around on receiving sneak peak wedding photos and all of our wedding photos was so quick, not to mention they turned out absolutely beautiful. William Avery and his team are so easy to work with and the final product is everything you could want and MORE! -

Best decision we made for our wedding
My husband and I knew within minutes of meeting Will over Zoom, that we wanted to work with him for our wedding photography. He understood immediately that nothing about what we were planning was traditional and we wanted our pictures to reflect that. He asked us to describe our ideal aesthetic - we said that we wanted more of an artistic yet intimate vibe with some edge; “we want our kids to look at these photos someday and think…man our parents were really cool”. After interviewing multiple photographers, Will was the first person to smile at that request and said “say no more, I love it.” I felt like he really understood us as couple.
Leading up to our wedding, Will sent us the sweetest note and gift box that included some treats, as well as small “his” and “hers” notebooks - which we used to hand write our vows (now a beautiful keepsake.)
Will was also very communicative with us throughout the entire process. He even went to our venue prior to the big day to better understand the sun’s location for the time of our wedding relative to where we would be exchanging vows.
On the day of our actual wedding, Will arrived at our venue early to meet with my husband. It had stormed all morning, but by 3pm there was zero cloud cover, it was extremely bright and got quite hot. Because Will scouted out the area, he was able to give an amazing suggestion for a new location to exchange our vows. (We had a private ceremony, followed by reception of immediate family.) The new location that he picked also became the backdrop for some of our favorite photos.
In addition, Will provided a contact of someone to film our ceremony - the quality of the final product truly couldn’t be better and highly exceeded our expectations. It was also very important to us that our dog be present at the ceremony and in a some of our photos - Will was an absolute pro with her and we have the cutest photo ops of our pup.
One challenge of the day that Will was not made aware of…I was worried that I wouldn’t be comfortable taking pictures because we had sadly just lost a pregnancy a few days prior. Without even knowing the situation, Will’s presence was calming and quelled a lot of my anxieties. The time that we spent with him getting photos as a couple was truly an enjoyable experience. He made us feel so genuinely comfortable and we had a lot of fun with him. On the candid side, Will knew exactly what to capture and when, which ended up being some very special moments that I’m so grateful we have on film. The places that he picked for couples shots couldn’t have been a better match to the aesthetic that we described. Overall our photos are pure magic and we couldn’t have asked for a better finished product. We feel so fortunate that Will was able to shoot our wedding and we would absolutely love to work with him again! We already recommended Will to our friends for an engagement photos and their level of satisfaction is just as high! -

Will is the best photographer in the area!
One of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process. Will photographed and videoed my sister's wedding back in early 2020, and was the best. I knew I had to use him for my wedding! He was so professional, great at communication, and the pictures speak for themselves. I cannot wait to get the rest and the video! I cannot recommend Will and his team enough! 100/10! -

There is no one better than Will! He is amazing at every aspect of his job. From being professional through email to taking engagement pics to the wedding day. He goes above and beyond in every way. AMAZING photographer!!!
We absolutely loved working with Will and his team!! They were so professional, helped us with our wedding timeline and sticking to it, knew exactly what they were doing and made us feel so comfortable. And the photos are INSANE. We also did the video package and we are obsessed with our teaser and full highlight film. We also love that we got the full ceremony and toasts to look back on whenever we want to. After working with Will for our Save The Date photoshoot the bar was set pretty high for our wedding photography and videography but Will and Greg absolutely knocked it out of the park! We were blown away by how gorgeous our photos and videos turned out. We were incredibly nervous for the day but Will and Greg made us so comfortable and helped us have so much fun on a very special day. Every time we look back at our photos, we get so emotional by how beautiful that day really was but also so happy to have it captured in such a perfect way. They did a great job capturing every aspect of the ceremony and reception. They were very accommodating to our requests and our crazy smoke bomb idea! BEST…PHOTOGRAPHER…EVER!!! I’m not joking, my husband and I felt like a celebrity couple having Will as our photographer. Not only did we feel like celebs, we looked like them too! Will and his team know exactly how to make you feel comfortable and natural in front of a camera. He’s super relaxed and gives minimal direction, so it feels like he’s not there. Instead of a photoshoot, it felt like authentic intimate moments during our engagement session and on our wedding day. As for style, we looked very long and hard for someone with the moody, high-quality imagery we were going for. The posed, bright photos that you usually see of weddings aren’t our thing - we wanted a more natural, emotional aesthetic for our photos and Will delivered. He’s also just a stellar, easy-to-work with guy who is up for anything, including getting sprayed in the face with Champagne to get the perfect shot. We love you Will, thank you for capturing our wedding so perfectly!! -

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have worked with Will and his team for our engagement/wedding! I had been obsessed with their work long before I was even engaged, and I must say they exceeded all expectations I had. Will & his team were our hype men through the whole thing, and everyone in our bridal party & at our wedding raved about how amazing they were. We got back SO many photos (and not just your basic couple & family photos) in such a timely manner, and it was just a great experience from start to finish. The best decision ever!
I am a fellow wedding vendor based in Charleston, SC (so I've seen ALL sorts of great photographers, but wanted something a little different) and just used Will for our wedding 12/19/20. He is SERIOUSLY AMAZING - best of the best. Due to Covid/being in different cities, we didn't actually ever meet face to face prior to my wedding day - but I was completely at ease the entire time I communicated with Will and immediately felt like I was in good hands! He is amazingly professional, down to earth, and upon meeting him on our wedding day we felt like we were reuniting with an old friend! Not to mention his work is legit STUNNING. If I could give a million stars I would! We can't wait to use Will again for literally ANY other shoot my husband and I decide to do! Thank you for capturing our dream day so perfectly!!! -

Will and his team were amazing!!
Will and his team were great from our first conversation to after wedding day was complete. He was always on time, prompt to respond to any emails, calls, etc. that we sent him. Starting from our engagement session we had so much fun and he made the experience relaxed, comfortable and wanted my husband and I to just be us. He let us be ourselves and captured every moment of it perfectly. The day of our wedding him and his team were on time, made sure to get each shot that was on our list as well as others that we never would have thought of. He captured the classic pictures that everyone wants on their wedding day but also got so many more that were unique to us and our day. He also did videography for our day. He took care of everything and caught all of the great moments throughout the day. He even helped us to add a live stream for our ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was flexible and worked with any and all changes that we had to make. Our final product was better than I could have hoped for and we hope to work with him again in the future! One of my best wedding decisions!!
Working with Will and his team was just easy. From our engagement pics to our actual wedding day, it’s was perfection! He is the easiest person to work with. In the middle of dealing with so many moving parts to try and make your wedding your dream day, having an amazing photographer is so important. His team is fun, they made the chaos of the wedding day calm and they are all so extremely talented that I didn’t have to worry for a second about missing a photo op or a special moment because I knew they would capture it. I would HIGHLY recommend him. I know all my bridesmaids want to use him after seeing how awesome he is! -

Talented! Timeless!

GORGEOUS photos, SO lovely to work with!
Will photographed our May 2019 wedding at an art museum in Charlotte, NC and I can't speak highly enough of our experience! The photos are amazing, without a doubt better than I could have imagined. Will is an excellent communicator, very professional, prompt in his responses and true to his word. We very much wanted to enjoy our wedding and weren't interested in spending loads of time taking photos and Will was SO respectful of our wishes. He moved through photos before and after the ceremony efficiently, provided excellent direction and paid great attention to detail. Our experience was excellent and I can't recommend Will highly enough. -

Our pictures are amazing and something we will cheeish for a lifetime. Will traveled down a night early because of the weather calling for snow. It snowed 4 inches and he stood outside in freezing weather and snow to ensure we had amazing pictures!! If you are looking for an amazing photographer look no further. On the day of, Will and his 2nd photographer were professional, excited, accommodating to our requests, and made all of our friends and family feel comfortable in front of the camera. We have now started booking him for any major family photo opportunity and each time we are ecstatic with the results. I would recommend him for any type of photoshoot, as he can do candid photos as well as still poses/headshots.
