From the moment I answered the phone during our initial introductory call, I knew Caroline Willett was going to be not only an impeccable wedding vendor but also a fast friend. The "sugar + spice" of this husband and wife duo, I instantly became enamored with Caroline's effervescent personality, and I regretted not scheduling our first meeting over a glass of bubbles because I knew we would have had just the best time. I had stalked Caroline and Gregg's work on Instagram for months, drooling over their use of film photography as a way to organically romanticize every moment (as opposed to some manufactured novelty-based approaches I have seen quickly fill social media, and just as abruptly oversaturate and date the wedding industry of the late 10s to early 20s). Further, Gregg's eye for capturing architecture and the personality buildings and spaces can exude immediately inspired me, knowing we would be getting married in the ornate and decadent Biltmore Ballrooms.
My husband actually booked Caroline to photograph our proposal, and while her photos captured the softness and intimacy of the day perfectly, I was even more impressed with how she simultaneously directed us in a natural, conversational way yet gave us space to breathe in the moment like it was just us two. I knew before we even saw a single shot that her and Gregg were who we would trust to capture our day.
The wedding photos and their galleries speak for themselves, but I would be remiss if I did not emphasize explicitly how beyond overjoyed we are with our experience working with Gregg and Caroline. From the details of our paperie to the luxurious installations throughout our reception space; from my bridal portraits to our loved ones cutting a rug on the dance floor, this power couple managed to produce stunning art that, although still, has a sense of life in it and rushes me back to the warmth and love of our wedding day. More so, we genuinely had a ball spending time with them, giggling our day away, even during a rush of downpouring rain!
Although our wedding day has now passed, I so look forward to curating an album alongside Caroline and Gregg, developing the persisting storybook of our wedding day for all our loved ones, present and future, to flip through and look upon fondly. Moreover, we have every intention to call back upon Gregg and Caroline to capture future memories - children, milestones, and different moments in between. Oh, and, of course, I still need to grab that glass of champagne with Caroline! -

They made us feel so comfortable and worked dillengently day of to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. I’ve recieved so many compliments on our photos-we love the memories they captured! Not only are they talented, they were a blast. Recommend for sure!

My fiance really hates taking photos, but during our engagement shoot they did a wonderful job of making my fiance feel comfortable. He was actually having fun with it! They had so many creative ideas and can take a beautiful picture in just about any setting.
Gregg and Caroline also shot our wedding and the pictures are absolute perfection. Not only are they a wonderful representation of our wedding day, they capture our personality as a couple. Gregg and Caroline take the time to get to know their clients and it definitely shows in their finished product. They made us feel so special and I would recommend them to friends, family and everyone! -

We recently had the privilege of having the Willetts shoot our engagement session and our wedding day! They are incredible photographers and the quality of their work is incomparable! They were so fun and patient with us and all of our wedding guests, and made a nervous bride and groom feel like naturals in front of the camera! They made our entire day full of laughter and joy, and it showed in the photos. We would highly reccomend their services, you are getting much more than wedding photographers when booking them, they really enhance your entire wedding day!

The weather on our big day was less than ideal, but that didn't slow The Willett's down. They made it work and beautifully! We were able to enjoy our time with friends and family while Caroline + Gregg expertly documented the entire event. Now we have beautiful images we will cherish forever! -

Our engagement photos were so special and beautiful, at times I did not recognize myself (we are still waiting on wedding photos)! They specialize in a light and airy feel which is the look I was striving for. My husband and I have no idea how to pose or "be cool" in photos, but not to worry, the Willett's direct you in exactly what to do. The day of the wedding, they arrived early and got all the shots that were important to me, including ones I would never even think of, like the stationary and the dress. When you pick your photographers, you want to look for someone you can hang out with for the whole day and enjoy their company. That is absolutely the Willett's. They have a great, fun personality and that makes the day so much more enjoyable. I would recommend them to my closest friends. They will NOT disappoint.

We could not have been happier with working with the Willetts, and they could not have been easier to work with! Fortunately, they took our engagement and wedding pictures. My husband and I met Gregg and Caroline at a bridal show and from the very beginning they set themselves apart from the plethora of photographers there at the show. Their friendly personalities made us feel that we were instant friends. Their innate sense of style and high level of creativity evidenced in their booth set up and the samples of their work that they brought to the show enabled me to confidently add them to my "must have" vendor list. They were very willing to meet for coffee to discuss their photography packages and answer any questions that we had.
We decided to hire them to do our engagement photos as a "trial run" and didn't regret it. One thing that I really valued about their services was how Caroline strived to learn about us as a couple and incorporated what she learned into our photo locations, props, etc. They way these two interacted with each other and with us during the shoot made it seem like just a fun day of hanging out with another couple... we even stopped for drinks and dinner afterwards! I had high expectations for the photographs after such a great shoot, but was floored when I got to see them! Some photographers shoot hundreds (or thousands) of photos and get a few or even several great shots... But Gregg and Caroline's photos were overwhelmingly GREAT... We could not have been more pleased. Gregg's keen technical eye coupled with Caroline's out-of-the-box creativity made for phenomenal and unique high quality photos.
Needless to say, we hired Gregg Willett Photography to shoot our wedding and were so glad we had familiar friends to capture our big day. Because they had never been there before, Gregg and Caroline made the hour/hour+ trip to our venue to "scope it out" before the wedding date. We really felt that this was going the extra mile and appreciated that they wanted to familiarize themselves with the location ahead of time. Gregg and Caroline were extremely professional in dealing with us, our family, the wedding party, and the venue owner/coordinator. They kept the ball rolling and helped us adhere to our schedule. As the bride, it was nice to hear Caroline tell me that she was there to do anything I needed, even if it was to adjust my Spanx :)
We just recently were able to view our wedding photos and we don't regret that we chose Gregg Willett Photography. The photos are the one thing that will last for years and years after the wedding day (besides the spouse!) and we are glad we trusted that to Gregg and Caroline. Their prices were great, especially compared to many others in the profession, and in my opinion the quality of their work exceeds even those photographers that charge three times Gregg Willett Photography's rates. The packages and a la carte menu make it easy to choose which services you need and allow you to mix and match "extras" such as a photo booth (which we did and would highly recommend).
In short, you can be completely comfortable trusting Gregg Willett Photography to capture this special time of your life. Our photographs were the part of our wedding that that I looked forward to the most and I was not disappointed!
