We had the best experience working with Will for our adventure engagement session and honestly can't recommend him enough!
Going into it, my biggest worry was just feeling awkward on camera. Neither of us are used to being photographed and I wasn't sure how that would go. Will made it so easy though. He was super involved in the planning process, helped us think through everything, and even went out to scout the location the day before the shoot. He came back with some great suggestions for adjusting spots but still made sure to take our opinions into account, which we really appreciated.
The day of was so much fun. We were a little nervous at first but warmed up quickly. By the end we were just laughing and exploring and it genuinely didn't feel like a photoshoot at all. Will has a great way of directing you without making it feel forced or stiff. His energy just puts you at ease!
What really stood out to us was how prepared and professional he was the whole time. The location scouting, the creative ideas, the way he kept us comfortable throughout it all made a huge difference.
The sneak peek of our photos already exceeded our expectations. We are so happy with how they turned out and can't wait to see the full gallery!
If you're on the fence about booking Will, just do it. He makes the whole process so easy and stress-free and you will be in great hands the entire time. Worth it! -

We cannot recommend Will Photography highly enough! His photography is absolutely stunning, and the images he has captured so far during our wedding day are beautiful. Beyond his incredible talent behind the camera, Will went above and beyond in so many ways throughout the day.
He was calm, professional, and willing to jump in wherever needed-- even helping my groom with his tux when things got hectic. He worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, making everyone feel comfortable and helping the day run smoothly.
What stood out most was how much he genuinely loves what he does. You can see his passion in the way he interacts with people, looks for the perfect shot, and pours his heart into his work. My fiancé and I got the opportunity to do a film session (35mm & 120mm) with Will at the Marin County Civic Center.
We cannot say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was for the both of us! Will was so thoughtful in scouting the location and providing us explicit directions on where to meet him, map included (which we totally misread and he was very understanding about)! I was having a really difficult time choosing which dress to wear, and Will graciously offered to look through pictures of several options & provided me with really helpful suggestions!
The day was just a dream - Will has such a warm demeanor and any nerves we were feeling leading up to the photo shoot quickly dissipated after meeting him. He provided the perfect amount of direction while also giving us time during the shoot to just "be." He took time in between shooting locations to really observe the different spaces to be sure we were going to get the best results possible out of the day. We also got the chance to just spend time chatting with him, which was so lovely.
We're so in love, enamored, thrilled with our photos! We feel so incredibly blessed that we had the opportunity to meet Will and be a part of his art! We could not recommend him enough. If you want a photographer that will care deeply about YOUR day and about YOU, go with Will. -

Where do I begin?? Will is incredible—he is truly a visionary and can make the mundane look magical! He is thoughtful and very responsive, doing regular check ins, providing support and suggestions on preparing for the shoot and choosing outfits that would match our intended vibe, ensuring that we felt important and prioritized. He was flexible in working with us and helped to create a comfortable environment—he made it very fun and natural for us two non-photogenic people! He delivered our photos quickly and we were obsessed, to say the least. The photos were beautiful. If you ever get the chance to work with Will, take it! He is so talented and kind—you’ll be so glad you did.

Will truly made our micro-wedding at the end of October. It’s obvious how much he loves what he does. His portfolio speaks for itself, but what you don’t see there is all the behind-the-scenes work he does to capture the perfect shots.
During planning, his questionnaires helped us sort through things we hadn’t considered, and he helped map out the day-of schedule. Will relieved a ton of stress for our small (12 person) wedding without a coordinator.
On the actual day, the venue had set up the arbor in a spot with poor lighting, and Will immediately stepped in to get it moved to a better location. It made such a difference. One of my favorite parts of our wedding day was doing a small hike with my husband so that Will could take some picturesque shots of us along the Point Reyes National Seashore. Having those quieter moments in nature to take pictures, relax, and laugh with my husband on our wedding day are some of my most cherished memories. It went so smoothly because of Will's coordination and planning.
Honestly, Will was the most essential vendor we had. Both my husband and I were feeling insecure about being photographed, but he made us feel comfortable, and the photos turned out so much better than we imagined. There are several we can’t wait to print.
I would absolutely recommend Will to anyone looking for the perfect wedding photographer. -

Our experience with Will was nothing but spectacular! It is clear that he cares deeply about his photography and making each couple's event a once in a lifetime experience. Coming from the East Coast we were worried about holding an intimate wedding in California, but Will took the time to get to know us through multiple zoom calls, offering to scout locations for us, and we eventually found the perfect quiet spot on the cliffside. He helped us schedule out the day, suggesting tweaks so that we could enjoy the day without feeling too rushed.
On the day of the wedding Will's professionalism shone through, helping all of us feel at ease and capturing photos of our guests together that we will always cherish. He knew exactly how he wanted to stage a photo, but never missed an opportunity to capture a candid moment. While photographing, Will seemed to be everywhere at once, but at the same time we never noticed him in the background! The results of the photos came out better than we ever could have imagined, capturing little moments and emotions and the awesomeness of the scenery around us.
We can confidently say that our wedding would not have been nearly as magical without Will's support. We would recommend his services to anyone who is looking for an intimate wedding photographer! -

10/10 - Would ABSOLUTELY Recommend
We cannot recommend Will Khoury Photography enough! My partner and I were planning our elopement in Big Sur, California, traveling all the way from Baltimore. Naturally, we had a lot of questions and anxieties leading up to the big day. We were traveling across the country and wanted everything to be perfect, but Will put our minds at ease from the very start.
He was incredibly patient and generous with his time, spending a lot of time on the phone with us before the session to answer every question we had. Will went above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations for the trip, from locations to great timing for the best lighting. His advice truly helped us make the most of our time in Big Sur.
On the day of the elopement, Will's calm, friendly, and professional demeanor made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which allowed us to really enjoy the day without stress.
And the photos? They are breathtaking. Will captured every moment perfectly, from the quiet, intimate exchanges to the stunning views of the Big Sur forests and coastline. Our Yosemite Elopement Was Everything We Imagined and More!
From the moment I saw Will’s work, I knew he was the one. There wasn’t a single doubt in my mind — and he absolutely exceeded every expectation.
We loved everything about working with Will. He didn’t skip a beat — from knowing Yosemite inside and out to instantly making us feel like we’d known him for years. He has such a natural way of bringing out the best moments, and if he saw something incredible, we’d stop mid-way to capture it. It all felt effortless and fun, and his creativity truly pushed us in the best way.
The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined. Will captured every single moment perfectly — the emotion, the energy, the scenery — all of it.
What really stood out, though, was how calm and professional he was when things didn’t go as planned. The morning started with a fallen tree blocking our neighborhood, and without hesitation, Will packed up and drove 30 minutes to pick us up. By the time he arrived, the road had cleared and he just laughed it off — and we still made it for our sunrise shots. Later in the day, a storm rolled in and we couldn’t make it up to Taft Point. I was so disappointed at first, but Will reassured us that the valley shots would be amazing… and he was right. Those ended up being my absolute favorite photos of the day.
All in all, Will was incredible — professional, patient, creative, and genuinely kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or a more memorable experience in Yosemite!

From our initial engagement, he was incredibly organized, taking the time to meet with us to understand our vision and ensure that his elopement package would be a perfect fit.
When we had to make a difficult pivot on our wedding date, Will was exceptionally understanding and accommodating. We were grateful for his flexibility, which reveals his honorable and trustworthy character. As first-time brides navigating the whirlwind of wedding planning, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect — or even what we wanted from our elopement. From logistics to vendors, to planning the flow of our day and finding the right places to celebrate, we were truly starting from scratch. But then came Will.
From the very beginning, Will went far beyond just being a photographer. On our Zoom calls, he asked such intentional, thoughtful questions that reshaped our entire elopement plan. He helped us dream up something that felt deeply aligned with who we are — something we wouldn’t have found on our own. He even helped us make dinner reservations while we were traveling! Will was seriously the best photographer we’ve ever come across! The sneak peeks were absolutely stunning. Our friends and family kept asking “who is this photographer, he needs to be on the cover of vogue”! Could not be more happy with the results. But not only that, Will made the whole planning process stress free and seamless. He recommended some stellar vendors which we ended up using and provided the best food and dinner recs! He acted as our planner, day of coordinator, and photographer! He was very generous with his time, set up calls to talk us through the process and really understand what we wanted out of our big day. He even came over early to the house to take photos, which he didn’t have to do. We definitely wanted to invest in a great photographer and Will absolutely blew us away, going above and beyond. Will is so much more than just a wedding photographer. From our first conversation, he took the time to really get to know us and was genuinely excited to be part of our wedding journey. We had limited experience traveling to Yosemite, and Will provided invaluable guidance and expertise every step of the way.
He helped us shape our vision and even created a thoughtful itinerary. On the big day, everything ran smoothly thanks to his incredible organization, calm demeanor, and great communication. We felt completely at ease being photographed by him.
When we received our sneak peek gallery (less than 24 hours after the wedding!), I was in tears. The photos were absolutely stunning—candid, emotional, timeless—and they captured both us and the breathtaking Yosemite scenery perfectly. My husband and I have always been a huge fan of Will's work so when we got engaged, we had no idea where we wanted to take pictures or when but we knew right off the bat that HE was going to shoot our engagement photos!
We inquired via his website which was super easy - the usual information requested along with a short questionnaire so he can gauge what kind of services/vibes we're going for. The response turnaround was less than an hour! We love a quick turnaround :) --- We officially booked him in December with a February photoshoot day. He provided a link to his session guides to help with outfits and general details - this was super helpful & answered a lot of our initial questions. I sent him a bunch of inspo pics that I really liked to help him with the vibe we were going for. He ensured that he would make our pictures special to us but he really appreciated the inspo.
We opted for a Downtown Modesto photoshoot (we're locals) - McHenry Mansion, The Intermission, State Theater (we paid for a message on the marquee to read "COMING SOON: The Marinos!") We also wanted to include our pup in one of our pictures and Will was more than happy to accommodate, he even gave us a recommendation of keeping our pup's leash to a neutral color (no reflective leashes or bright colors) because they tend to distract in photos. I never would have thought about that!
Sooooo for photoshoot day came &&& he made us feel so comfortable. We aren't the best posers, but he was so patient - he gave us directions when needed but he wanted us to just be ourselves & relax. My husband (fiance at the time) isn't a person that enjoys being in front of a camera but at the end of the session he literally said "he made a guy who hates taking photos very comfortable," & let me know tell you - that speaks volumes! He would show us previews on his camera throughout the session & they were already amazing so we were excited to see everything he captured.
We didn't have to wait long to see our pictures because he got it edited & sent in literally a day, maybe 2 but WOWZERS - WILL HAS A GIFT & our pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL! He definitely has an eye & after following his work for years, it was so cool to finally see us through his lens. He did not disappoint! The warmth of his photos and the way he is able to catch all the candids. So awesome.
We ended up using his pictures for our Save the Dates, on our wedding website, and sprinkled them throughout our wedding decor :)
Will is not only an amazing photographer, he is also a great person. He lives up to the hype & if you book him, he will definitely go above and beyond & give you pictures that you'll want showoff :) -

Our wedding (not just the photos!!) wouldn’t have been half as good without Will. He dealt with challenge after challenge beyond his control on our wedding day, and produced incredible photos. He managed to turn a downpour that could have ruined the wedding into the backdrop for some of the most unique wedding photos you will ever see. I had seen some of Will’s photos before our wedding and part of me was thinking “well those people look awesome, but they are stylish there’s no way a regular guy like me will look that cool in his wedding photos.” I was wrong - Will worked his magic and now I can’t believe how great the photos look. TL;DR - if there is any doubt in your mind, get rid of it and book him now, you will be happy you did!
My wife and I live on the East Coast and had never even been to Yosemite, but we knew we wanted to have an intimate wedding at a National Park. That’s all the information Will needed to help us plan and then capture an incredible wedding, all done remotely and setting our minds at ease every step of the way! He was a joy to work with throughout the planning process. His questionnaires and multiple Zoom calls really helped us figure out what we wanted to do and all the details of what we wanted to capture.
We got married in the winter in Yosemite. Though we were hoping for snow, the wedding day featured a non-stop downpour and clouds that covered up basically all of Yosemite’s most iconic views. Most of the ground turned to mud that would have felt at home in a World War I trench. Will was undeterred. He helped us with practical advice - my wife was thinking of wearing heels, and thank God Will politely but firmly advised her to go with the white boots she brought instead. He and his assistant David arranged an amazing first look, helping us pick our way through the muddy areas and creating some incredible shots. The day just got better from there, as we followed Will’s guidance to adjust our plan and capture incredible photos of our ceremony in front of Bridal Veil Fall, adventure at El Cap meadow, and dinner with guests back at Autocamp. We really appreciated Will’s attention to detail, as he would gently correct little things like how my tie clip was sitting before important shots to make sure we looked as good as we could.
We will treasure the photos Will took of us forever, and I truly do not think any other photographer could have turned our weather into a triumph the way he did. And if you’re still not convinced, don’t take it from me - here is some feedback we got on the photos from others:

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing photographer! My husband and I take anniversary photos every year so we have worked with our fair share of photographers! Will is one of the best around. His eye for detail and creativity is top notch. He also really listened when I explained what kinds of shots I was looking for. He worked with us on re-scheduling when the road fell through in Big Sur a few days before our shoot and we couldn't reach all our planned locations. He met us early in the morning in the rain and mud and made it amazing and fun. Then when we had another entire day together, he went above and beyond to not only get the shots were asked for, but also made some extra stops following his creative eye! He also has a gentle, loving presence about him that is very comforting but is up for the challenge of any adventure. If you want dreamy, romantic, creative pictures and a photographer who is willing to adventure with you even to unknown locations, Will is the guy for you! Will is INCREDIBLE!! My husband and I are from Florida and found Will on Instagram shortly after we got engaged. Fell in love with his work and just had to reach out. We had absolutely zero wedding plans, but I knew I found our photographer. Honestly, we chose California for our wedding because that’s where I knew Will would be (though, of course, he has absolutely no issues with traveling). My husband and I were bouncing back and forth with ideas for quite some time. Will was so incredibly patient and was always happy to help us brainstorm ideas. He was always available for a meeting and was so easy to reach (text and email).
Wedding planning can be very stressful. We actually had to reschedule the date we originally booked to a “TBD”. Something I really appreciate is how comforting and understanding Will is. He emphasized that we shouldn’t feel rushed and always reminded us that this was OUR experience.
Crazy enough, my husband and I planned our wedding, our trip to California, and our shoot with Will in less than 1 month. We were very lucky Will was available (he actually offered to come to Florida to capture our day, the absolute sweetest. But we just had to visit Big Sur). Even with such a short amount of time, Will was so supportive.
He offered to help grab any items we needed prior to the shoot, offered for us to ship any items to his home just to ease our travel burden. He gave us recommendations for hair and makeup, bakeries, everything. His goal from the very beginning was to make sure we had the experience of our dreams. And we absolutely did.
The day of the shoot was so much fun. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken, separately or together. We were nervous as it was something completely new. Truly, Will made it all feel so natural. No fake poses, no feeling awkward or feeling pressured. My husband and I were just spending the day together, doing what we wanted, and Will was there to capture it all.
Will sent us a sneak peek with nearly 150 photos the NEXT day!! I couldn’t believe it. Needless to say, the photos were magical. I can’t even count how many times I’ve looked at each one. Honestly, it feels like they belong in a magazine or a movie. Seriously our very own fairytale! My husband and I have jokingly said we’ll need to renew our vows every year just so we can work with Will again.
Will is so much more than a (very very talented) photographer. He really helped us plan everything for our day, even our overall trip. He will do all he can to ensure you have the experience you are dreaming of. He is helpful, understanding, honest, kind, and so much more!! -

Look no further!
Will was incredible to work with. When we started our elopement planning, all we knew was that we wanted to be married in a beautiful location like Yosemite but did not have a great idea of where to start. Not only were we facing planning an elopement for the first time, but we also had never been to Yosemite and were winging it with planning from the other side of the country. We were so lucky to find Will Khoury, and he offered guidance every step of the way. He helped us pick out locations and plan out a day that would feel personal and special to us according to our tastes and how we envisioned our wedding day. He also helped us plan out the logistics of our trip—how to get there, places to stay, and countless little details you don't begin to think about until you start the wedding planning journey. As the day grew closer, he also came up with a timeline and structure for our day. He also helped us in coordinating time and locations with our vendors. He is basically an elopement coordinator and photographer in one. We would not have been able to achieve the incredible wedding day we had without him. And the day was so fun and easy without any stress of trying to coordinate where we needed to be at what time. I need not speak of his beautiful photography work as it speaks for itself, but I will say it was definitely the deciding factor for us in choosing him to be our photographer. His work is incredible, and we were ecstatic when we got our photos back. Everything else he provided was a happy bonus.
We were naturally a little nervous about how it might feel spending our whole wedding day with one person that we hadn’t met and if it might be awkward, but it definitely wasn't! Will has a very natural and genuine charm that really puts you at ease as soon as you meet him, and he was fun to hang out with throughout the day. He even threw in some interesting tips and facts in here and there which made the day and the various locations we visited even more interesting and engaging. He really enjoys and cares about what he does, and it shows.
Other things that make Will Khoury a stand out option if you are considering him for your photography needs: he is very punctual and very organized. He was always very timely in responding to inquires and messages. I never felt stressed about our communications, and he has an impressive eye for detail. Everything from his website to his meetings and how he planned our day was meticulously thought out. He even helped me organize and coordinate a surprise for my fiance in the middle of it all! I would absolutely use Will again and would recommend him to anyone looking for incredible photography from a professional and all around great guy. -

When we stumbled upon Will online, the only thing we really knew for sure was that we wanted to get married in Yosemite. While we had a few vague ideas for how the day and photos could go, we were largely depending upon whomever we chose to help us figure out all the details that would make the day truly wonderful and special.
Let me tell you, Will was and is that person. From the moment we contacted him and began planning, he made the entire process an absolute joy. He is very thorough and punctual in his emails, asking tons of questions at multiple stages to ensure he’s realizing the vision that you might not even know you have yet. When he requested to do a video call with us for the first time, it became clear he was more than just a talented wordsmith capable of coming across so well in writing. Over the next months, he worked with us on everything from locations, accessories, dates, times, officiants, stylists, weather, wildlife conditions, and photo ideas. The man is a true guide and far more than a simple photographer.
On the day everything took place, Will started by taking pictures of our outfits and accessories along with a few getting-ready shots. All of this happened without us having to really think about it. Will knew exactly what to do and was bustling with the energy to make it all happen without stressing us out or burdening us with more decisions to make.
During our ceremony, he managed to capture so many good shots without ever becoming a distracting presence. His knowledge of the location was so complete that he quickly helped us find the perfect spot on site to set up; and before we knew it, the ceremony was done along with many wonderful pictures to accompany it.
Then we moved to our final location to take more photos. Taft Point was a far more intimidating set than the El Capitan Meadow, but Will navigated it with confidence all while making us feel safe in the process. Wherever he would ask us to pose, he would first walk himself to ensure it was safe to take position there and to show us that it wasn’t necessarily as scary as it seemed. Yet – and this is important – he never pushed us past the point of what we felt comfortable doing. The shots he took at this point were truly amazing.
Will also came impressively prepared. When we needed a tool to hook buttons on the wedding dress, Will had one on hand. When it came to figuring out how to hike and pose under the burden of the tuxedo and dress, he showed us exactly how. When we needed help carrying our things, he took an incredible number of backpacks and other accessories from us and made it look easy toting them all. When we needed lanterns for sunset shots, he had them ready. When we needed headlamps and flashlights as we hiked back to our vehicles in the pitch dark, he had them ready not only for us but for another group of sightseers that he invited to hike back with us so they would make it safely as well.
Overall, Will was an extremely talented and professional photographer and guide. It all seemed effortless to him, and I believe that’s a testament to the wholesomeness of his character and his passion for what he does. He brimmed with knowledge, keeping us informed and on the same page every step of the way. He filled our minds with information about the locations we had chosen as we hiked them. He was so into the process that he even had moments where he geeked out over some of the shots just as much as we did. And by the end of it, he felt like someone who I’d known for a long time – like an old friend or even family. When it was time to part ways for the night, we were honestly a little sad to say goodbye.
If you’re looking for someone to guide your elopement in Yosemite or beyond but feel lost in a sea of choices and uncertainty, look no further than Will Khoury. I have a hard time imagining that many others could embody the pure passion, energy, warmth, and talent you will find in him. WILL is truly the BEST!
Me and my Husband just got eloped this year in October. We had are ceremony in Yosemite, CA. We were referred by family friends about Will, we looked at his pictures and were already in love with his style. But when we actually got to meet him we knew we wanted him for this special day of ours. There was never a time when he wasn’t helpful or making sure our vision was exactly how we wanted it to be. He is the perfect person to have for getting eloped. The day of our wedding he was so attentive and always making sure we were taking in the moment with each other. The best decision we made!
Aside from getting married to one another in Yosemite National Park, the best decision we made was choosing Will Khoury as our wedding photographer. 5 stars is not enough for this man! He literally helped us plan and create our dream wedding. From the moment we first contacted him, he was friendly and available and efficient. He made our entire wedding planning experience so easy and fun. We have joked that not only was he our photographer but was ultimately our wedding planner. This was a destination wedding for us so we were not able to meet him in person before the wedding, so took the time to get to know us as a couple with FaceTime conversations ahead of time. He also sent us thoughtful couple and wedding planning questionnaires which were so fun for us to do together as a couple. He is so intentional in every decision he makes and the ones he helped us to make as well. Beyond all of the extra things he does, he created and captured the most stunning and breathtaking photos we have ever seen. We even stayed until 10pm up on Glacier Point to capture some fun night shots under the stars. THEY ARE UNREAL! Every single person who sees them, cannot believe they are real. It was like a real life fairytale because of him. Not only that, he made us both so comfortable and went out of his way to make sure our day was flawless. One of the things that makes him such a brilliant and talented photographer is that he tells a story. Looking at our photographs is like living our wedding day all over again. I have been shopping around for photographers well before I was engaged to my husband. But it wasn't until I found Will that I could confidently say I knew who I wanted to capture this special life event.
I was looking for an intimate session with my husband that allowed us to capture heartwarming moments with some epic backdrops and Will managed to help us find the setting and timeline to help achieve it.
One of my concerns during our session was that my partner tends to be timid in front of the lens, but I had no worries as I understood that Will begins building relationships early throughout the planning process so that by the time we had our session, my partner and I felt that we were meeting a genuine friend that could achieve our vision in a safe environment.

Working with Will through our planning process and on our big day was nothing short of easy, beautiful and an absolute pleasure!!
In the very beginning, while scouting photographer websites, I found Will's website to be incredibly professional, easy to understand, and ultimately very welcoming. In a nutshell, that's also the experience we had while working with him. His guidance, streamlined plan, kind personality, and vast experience left me feeling we had absolutely made the right choice, and took a huge weight off my shoulders.
He was very prepared, even down to walkie talkies to communicate with my husband on timing while making his way through the forest with my son and I. He held our waters and personal belongings in his backpack with all of his camera equipment and still managed to cross streams, climb hills and jump up on huge fallen redwoods to capture the perfect photos!
He even scouted out the forest the day before, which saved time on our wedding day, so we could get back to our family in time for dinner.
Another great part of working with Will is the incredibly stunning photos he creates!!! WOW! All of my friends and family love our highlight gallery, which by the way came back incredibly fast, just a few days later. Hands down, the BEST decision we made regarding our wedding (besides the location!)! Will is so gifted in photography & loves his job! We have received so many compliments on our sneak peak wedding gallery- that it looks like the photos were pulled from a magazine, the scenery is incredible, and my husband & I both look stunning. Will invests a great deal of time, effort, and energy into planning your day so he can be sure he will capture exactly what you're looking for.
We were married abroad, in Iceland, and had numerous Zoom meetings and email correspondence before our big day. Will had no less than 5 different plans for our post-wedding photoshoot day, so we would be prepared for any potential challenges around weather. He is incredibly professional, kind, and thorough in his preparation for your big day.
When running behind in hair & makeup the day of the wedding, Will was a calming, reassuring presence that helped me to stay grounded and present despite the hiccups that will surely arise. It was like working with an old friend. He has a great sense of humor, and it was an absolute pleasure to watch him in his element!
Our post-wedding photoshoot included traveling down the southern coast to the black sand beaches & waterfalls. Despite the crowded atmosphere, Will was able to capture breath-taking photographs that appear that no one was there but us. Looking through our photos transports us back to the beautiful scenery and landscapes of Iceland, and we will surely cherish these forever!

The photographer you absolutely need for your wedding!
I could speak endlessly about Will, not only as a photographer, but as a person. Given the number of decisions we would have to make during the wedding planning process, selecting a photographer to beautifully and uniquely capture these moments that we will forever cherish was among the highest priorities on our list. We met with a few photographers, but Will stood far above the rest and we were both fully confident that we made the right decision to move forward with him.
Prior to meeting Will, we took note of how comprehensive and transparent he was through his website as far as showcasing his vision and approach, outlining his packages and pricing, and providing guidance and resources for more non-traditional wedding approaches. We could already tell that he had our best interest in mind. He was no different in person! Upon our first meeting, Will immediately took interest in really getting to know who we were as a couple, asking intimate questions like what events have shaped our relationship and how we express love for one another. Later, did we realize how important it is to build a relationship with your photographer because it gives so much to the final product – not only was Will able to take such amazing photos of us in an amazing environment, but he was also able to evoke emotions inherent to our relationship through his photos. As a photographer, Will listened and beautifully executed our vision for the session. He was both thoughtful and collaborative in his approach given his familiarity with the location and his many, many years of experience as a photographer, guiding us on what to wear and what materials photograph well as well as guiding us through the actual day as far as what time to meet for better lighting, where we’ll be going, what we’ll be doing, how to work with the elements, what poses look good, etc. We felt so confident and well prepared going into the session.
Unfortunately, we got rained out on the day of our session, but Will was so accommodating as far as finding another date for us. The day we rescheduled to had such great weather and the session went so, so smoothly. He provided clear instructions on what we should do at each site. He was also efficient and maneuvered well around each site. There were some sites with dense brush and some sites packed with people, but he was still able to get the shot as if no one else was there besides us! He made us feel so comfortable during the shoot. He even went a bit longer after our scheduled time, trying out some creative techniques and shots that turned out to be some of my favorites!
He even provided a few edits a day or so right after the session. All in all, Will demonstrated utmost professionalism. He is an amazing, exceptional photographer, a well of resources, and good friend, who we hope to work with again in the future. Thank you for everything, Will. -

Will is the best!
We had an intimate city hall wedding in San Francisco and we could not have made a much better choice than to have Will capture our day!
Leading up to the event, Will went above and beyond in helping us plan our day in great detail - he gathered a lot of input from us during the planning process, short-listed locations and created a clear timeline for us based on our inputs. He was always available for a phone call and his in-depth knowledge of vendors in the area was immensely helpful for us as we were planning an out of state wedding.
On the day, Will took the time to meet all our family members and friends before the ceremony. He captured the day perfectly from the tiny details of our outfits and ceremony to the grandeur of our venue. The location he picked out for the sunset photoshoot was perfect and we could not have asked for a better set up for our pictures.
We received our pictures very quickly after the event and I was impressed to say the least. The pictures captured the emotions of the day so well and were stunning! It was hard to pick a few as our favorites as they were all so perfect.

When we first started planning our intimate wedding in Yosemite we knew that photography was going to be most important to us. You can't go to one of the most beautiful places in the world and not get it captured appropriately.
As soon as we stumbled upon Will and saw his work we knew we had to book him. What we didn't realize was everything that he was going to offer us. Not only is he a picture taking magician, but he really took the time to get to know us as people leading up to our day. When we booked him, we already had a lot of our plans figured out. However, he was extremely helpful in executing everything we wanted for the day and he gave so much helpful advice and insight when it came to things such as choosing colors, my dress dilemma, organizing everyone during the ceremony, creating a schedule, etc. He also took the time to get the perfect shot for something he had never done before (we went fly fishing in the valley) and we really appreciated his commitment to detail.
We spent over 16 hours with him that day and it was truly the best day of our lives. His company was welcome on the most memorable time for us and he only added to the hype and energy. We are so grateful for Will and genuinely look to him as a friend. All of our guests were equally impressed with his talent and sincerity.
There wasn't a moment missed, and when we got our sneak peeks my husband went manic all over again with hype lol. One of the best decisions we've ever made was having Will as part of our team that day! 12/10 recommend! -

Being from the midwest, it was always a “maybe one day” dream to be able to work with Will if we ever found ourselves in CA. When we settled on a road trip down the California coast for our five year wedding anniversary, we knew Will had to be a part of it. Our time with him was the highlight of our trip.
From the very beginning, Will was friendly, professional, thoughtful, and very responsive. He took the time to get to know us and what we wanted from the session, which made us feel truly heard instead of feeling like just another couple he had to photograph. He was also flexible with us when we decided to extend our session to include two locations (the best decision, after deciding to work with Will). He presented ideas to us on locations and outfits, etc., walking us through every detail, but he always made sure we had the final word and were happy with how the plan was coming into formation. Will works so hard for his couples to make them feel important and make sure everything goes smoothly the day of their session.
The session itself was absolutely amazing. And so. much. fun. Will felt like an immediate friend from the first hug. His warmth and kindness made us feel comfortable with him and in front of the camera right away. His familiarity with the locations and knowing all the best spots made the session feel like a breeze. He took his time at each location, setting up creative shots while also documenting us simply being ourselves, which was exactly the combination we wanted. We were able to be in the moment together throughout the entire session without ever feeling rushed. In addition, when Will found out I had to leave my film camera at home for our trip, he offered for us to shoot a roll of film on his personal camera. It was such a generous and fun addition to the entire experience.
We both couldn’t get over how incredible working with Will was from start to finish. The best session, ever. The cherry on top of it all was Will taking the time out of his insanely busy schedule to turn around sneak peaks for us in time for our actual anniversary date. It meant so much to us and made our anniversary that much more special.
You will not regret working with Will! He is not just a mega talent behind the camera, but an all around wonderful human. -

Incredible Engagement Photography Experience!
Will is everything we could have hoped for and more in an engagement photographer. When we were looking for an elopement photographer, we came across Will’s profile and thought there was no way he would have availability, or would fit in our budget. I mean, his work is amazing. We anyways went for it. For our surprise, he replied quickly and we booked our call. It was love at first call, lol. We loved Will’s energy, his attention to us, and his guidance. The whole planning process was smooth - his questionnaires helped drive our conversations as a couple and decide on how we wanted our special day to be. Will helped us decide on the location, gave ideas, but more importantly, he listened to us! He was flexible on incorporating what we wanted for the experience.
Two weeks before our elopement location, Yosemite National Park, closed due to snow storm. Talk about freaking out. However, Will quickly reached out to schedule a call and work on a Plan B. He was a great guide during that time of uncertainty. He was flexible with the plans, listened to our worries, and helped us find a location where we could have a similar experience.
We ended up eloping in Joshua Tree National Park, with a race against the clock requesting wedding permits and finding places to stay. And wow, what an experience!!! I cannot express how special the day was. We were excited to meet Will. He arrived early to our location to find the best spots, and the way he thinks about details blew our mind. He knew logistics, he had everything timed so that we could get what we wanted.
There was not a moment we didn’t enjoy - even when we were freezing at the top of the mountain for the picture hubby wanted. Will did not complain about the cold even when you could see him freezing- he was so into capturing the moments and doing a good job. He didn’t care to get soaked in champagne to get the best shot. The man is committed to it.
I can only say great things about Will, and I thank him for making our day the most memorable and laid back, and cool… and did I mention the photos were AMAZING?! I’m so glad we went for it and that it all worked out - I cannot imagine our special day going any better!

I found Will's instagram during a deep dive session of looking for a photographer for our engagement photos. When I came across his work I knew that I wanted him to take our photos. I kept looking at other people's work, but always found myself coming back to Will's and knew we had to try and get him even though our timeline was relatively short. From the first email to the last, Will's attention to detail continually confirmed we chose the right photographer. And let me tell you, when we got our sneak peek it was even better!
My fiancé and I took our engagement photos with Will just a few weeks ago. His suggestions for photoshoot sites were all great, but the Point Reyes sites he told us about really lent themselves to the session we wanted to have. He asked all of the right questions, and we told him the vibe we were going for, then we really just trusted him to do his thing. He is so easy to be around and made us feel very comfortable. His ideas came to fruition in such an amazing way! If you just let Will do his thing, you will get some of the coolest photos! He is a master of his craft and just an insanely talented photographer.
On top of all of that, he is a genuinely nice person! The almost 5 hours we spent with him flew by because we all were having a lot of fun. You can tell he loves what he does.
To speak to his professionalism and communication, you can count on Will to be extremely detailed oriented, thorough, and timely. He really has thought of everything. While we are more type B, go with the flow kind of people, Will can easily speak to the type A's out there.
With that said, if you've found yourself coming back to his work more than once, just book him! -

First, we were blown away by the galleries Will had on his website. Then, we had our expectations further exceeded by Will’s expertise, customer service and photography skills. I contacted a ton of photographers and I could tell he was, by far, the best - all for a very reasonable price too.
My partner and I were interested in a Big Sur Photoshoot and I was planning to propose. Will worked with me, over multiple phone calls, to plan the session, proposal, location, outfits, make recommendations etc. We even had to move the session a few times due to weather and Will was super accommodating about that. It’s a big moment for us and working with Will put us at ease.
On the day of the shoot, we met up at our first spot (with the clear directions he gave us) and got changed. He has a pop-up changing station which was super useful.
The tricky part of the session was how and when to propose. We decided I should propose early in the session to get the nervousness out of my system and so that we have the ring for most of the shoot. But there was a concern of the box bulging out of my pockets and my partner noticing, so we came up with a plan to hand-off the ring to Will and then(discreetly) back to me when it was time. Will executed this perfectly by tucking it away in my pants while he “fixed my suspenders''. At that point, I waited for him to get in position and then I proposed - I could not have imagined it going any better.
We finished around 8pm and Will had already delivered the proposal moment photos by the NEXT morning with more previews the same week. That was unexpected because we both had a long drive home after the shoot.
If you’re looking for photographers, your search is over - go with Will. You will have your expectations exceeded, experience no stress and pay a reasonable price. And I’d personally guarantee that! -

After an extensive search of many photographers, we chose Will to do a bay-area local engagement shoot and were very happy with the experience and the initial previews of the photos!
Communication with Will was generally pretty good leading up to the shoot day, primarily done through honeybook portal and through text. There were some questionnaires we were slow to fill out for him and he was out on some personal travel in the weeks before the chosen date, but none of that jeopardized the actual date. The weather on the other hand, that was a bit of a wild-ride.
Northern California was impacted by significant storms right around our chosen date, so we had to change weekends and dates multiple times. Will was extremely accommodating when it came to this, even pivoting from a Saturday to a Sunday literally the night before. So we crossed our fingers and got ready to head out on a cloudy,wet (but forecasted to be partly sunny) Sunday morning.
Our chosen location was a forest and some sea-cliffs, when we got to the forest location, it had just stopped raining (yay!), but of course everything was wet! Will was prepared, however, with a pop-up changing booth and lots of tips and advice on wardrobe. We had brought several different outfits/looks to be flexible as well as our two small dogs, Will helped us manage everything while also providing expert posing and direction as we walked through the cold, wet forest to get photos. I was cold in a two-piece suit, while my fiancée was shivering between shots – but the improvised and unscripted nature of the photoshoot didn’t really lend well to putting on and off jackets. In hindsight we should have taken the temperature into greater account. But we survived, as did the dogs!
By the time we wrapped the forest and made it ocean-side, the sun was setting behind some strong clouds – unimpressive. But the wind + scarves made for some fun shots. Will was also prepared in this scenario, with lanterns that he brought. By the time we wrapped the sea cliffs, it was quite dark. Will offered some hot tea (because we had mentioned it in our planning conversations) but we politely declined as it was getting quite dark and cold.
All-in-all I feel like the shoot went about as good as it could have considering weather, timing, etc. Will’s preparation, experience, and attention to detail really shone through on the day of. At the time of this review we’ve seen some preview images (that he almost immediately sent) and some social media posts of sample images, but have not received the final products – but I have every confidence in Will that they are going to be wonderful! -

TL;DR: Will is the perfect elopement photographer if you're looking for someone easy-going, adaptable and super talented.
We interviewed a couple photographers for our Big Sur elopement in November 2022, but Will was the only one who spent a full hour with us during the consultation and really got a feel for us to see if we were a fit as photographer and couple.
He was with us throughout the entire process as we started with just the idea of where we wanted to elope but didn't have a venue, accommodations, or a true vision of what our day would look like. I've never been the type of girl who dreamed of my wedding so, along with Will, my fiance and I were able to craft the day and figure it out along the way. Having done photography all over Big Sur, he was able to provide a lot of information, insight, and advice.
We are planners, so it was good to have someone who had a similar planning process to ours: planning the big things and allowing the day to flow organically from there. With Will, we were able to figure out that we wanted an intimate wedding rather than a couples elopement, we found the venue, we picked spots for photos on the coast, we made decisions like having private vows in addition to the ceremony vows and where to have the first look.
We ended up with a perfect day. Will is talented, patient, and an awesome guy. We're awkward and silly and he captured that while also capturing genuine moments and true art. We couldn't recommend him enough! -

Dream Wedding Captured By Will!
My husband and I got married at Tenaya Lake in Yosemite, CA in June 2022. Prior to reaching out to Will, we had been stressing, left to right about figuring out the little to big details of where to start when planning our wedding. It felt like a million things were being done all at once. Until we decided to just elope! We found Will via google and then stalked him on Instagram, sure enough, we immediately fell in love with his work! We reached out to him, crossing our fingers that he would be available and he was! During our initial interaction, Will gave us his undivided attention by wanting to get to know us as individuals, as a couple, and importantly, he wanted to know what we envisioned for our elopement. Will helped us in various ways throughout the process of the elopement by finding a location, planning a detailed timeline, recommending local vendors, etc. I can’t emphasize more how much stress and worry were lifted from our shoulders! He made planning our elopement fun and exciting, he was always rooting for us no matter the position we were in or how many times I’d changed my mind about things. On the big day, Will and David Gomar (videographer) gave us more than we could’ve imagined. Will embrace our intimacy with our every emotion, every facial expression, every movement, and every tear when taking photos. We trusted him and his talents, which came out breathtaking, he truly made our day better than our vision. One thing, we absolutely loved about our photos, is that Will didn’t take away from Mother Nature. He respected her by adding her natural beauty in it. It was absolutely perfect! We’re amazed every time we open our wedding album, and appreciate Will for the amazing work he’s done for us. He was flexible, patient, honest, enthusiastic, humorous, creative, and very passionate about our wedding. Will Khoury is simply amazing...
My wife and I decided to elope in Greece. We didn't know much about Will but we loved his gallery and he was personally recommended to us by a friend. From start to finish, Will was such an important and integral part of our marriage plans. Will has extensive experience with weddings and his network of associates, friends and vendors made our planning amazingly easy. Will was always responsive to any questions we had, kindly reminded us of deadlines when we were busy to keep us on track, and he made so many helpful suggestions that we would have never thought to consider. Came for the aesthetic, stayed for the lovely and incredible person behind the lens! Seriously, every conversation we had with Will felt like we’d known each other for years. My now husband and I eloped in Maryland on 2/22/22 and wanted to capture some announcement photos on the Central Coast. We were so happy that Will was able to squeeze us into his busy schedule with just a few weeks lead time.
In true Virgo energy, I am equal parts indecisive and super picky about outfits, coordination, photo ideas, location – you name it. Will didn’t miss a beat and came armed with Pinterest boards, a Couples Session Guide, and we even came up with some new ideas to try in our brainstorming sessions. If you have any questions or want to run some outfit inspo by him, Will was never further away than a quick text!
The day of our shoot could not have been better. It usually involves a lot of bargaining to get my husband to take photos, but Will’s vibe was so welcoming and got us into a great rhythm. After just a couple of minutes, it all felt so natural, and the time seriously just flew by. We felt like rockstars the entire time! Will did an excellent job letting us know what looked good and guided us through poses that meshed so well with our vibe. All our friends and family were blown away by the sneak peek gallery he sent over. We are super stoked to see the rest of our album.

You will not find another photographer of the same quality or standard as Will Khoury, both as a photographer and as an individual.
My wife and I flew into California to visit my hometown and take elopement photographs. From day 1, Will was responsive and helpful in determining the best location and times for our shoot. In addition, Will was overwhelmingly receptive to our desired aesthetic and aided in the entire process with the help consistent of emails and his curated guide.
It didn't take as much as five minutes to find an appropriate rhythm during the photo shoot. Will encouraged us to take ownership of the shoot, but also found time to give subtle instructions on poses and aesthetically pleasing postures.
As someone who doesn't really like having photos taken of themselves, there's no one else I'd rather have than Will Khoury. The entire process was stress free and the end result were superlative photos that we shall cherish forever.

Amazing Experience!
We were so fortunate to have Will photograph our destination elopement in Moab, Utah! Will was a joy to work with and made us feel instantly comfortable. He went above and beyond to capture our special day, even after a twisted ankle. One of the highlights of our time with Will was a night hike to Delicate Arch for pictures under the stars. Star Wedding Vendor!
We booked Will for both our engagement photos and our wine country destination wedding. We had him travel to us for the engagement photos and he did an awesome job scouting the city for the best locations, even finding areas that we hadn't been to! Our photos were so good that we had to do three different versions of our save the dates because we couldn't pick just one photo! Will also did an amazing job with our wedding photos. Sadly we had to postpone due to covid and he was super flexible in moving our date out. We loved that his style is more casual and less posed which gave all of the photos are more real/lived vibe. You can tell that he cares so much about each shot and making it the best it can be. In our get ready photos he was moving furniture, opening/closing curtains, and relocating suitcases to make sure everything looked as perfect as possible. Outside of being a super talented photographer he is a great addition to day of. Calm, polite, and friendly! We've had so many people comment that our photographer did an outstanding job and we couldn't agree more. We are so happy that we booked Will and would HIGHLY recommend that you do the same! -

Absolute blast in Positano
Will and Alex were the absolute best choice that we made for our pictures. Right from the get go, Will was very communicative and helped with planning and scheduling of the shoot. He did all the research about the locations in Italy. This made life super easy as far the shoot went because all we had to do was just show up and enjoy. We messed up the dates and almost missed the shoot but Will waited and we were able to make it and had possibly the most spectacular pictures we could have asked for. The experience during the shoot was not what I expected .., i thought we may feel self conscious and awkward posing but to the contrary, it was fun, casual and we had an absolute blast which shows in our pictures. Will is not only a photographer, but a complete experience! He isn't just a great photographer, but a great person, tour guide, and friend. This guy was not only willing to take our Elopement photos for us but made sure that our experience was bar none the best it could possibly be. We are SO SO lucky to have had Will photograph our mini wedding in Yosemite! Not only is he the nicest guy and super fun to hang out with, he is such a talented and dedicated photographer. He was so well prepared and thought of absolutely everything, even before the actual day. He sent us lists of accommodation, what to pack, what to wear etc. On the days we were there, he even brought us water, snacks, headlamps and walkie-talkies. He spared absolutely no effort to help us get the best photos possible, never tiring of helping us find the best light, best poses, best angles etc.
Neither my husband nor I are used to being in front of a camera, but he was sooooo patient and made us feel at ease. My husband said that he was afraid that we wouldn’t be able to find a photographer who would be willing to hike to the gnarliest locations with us, but Will had no complaints and was in fact the one leading us off trail to find the coolest spots (lugging all his gear with him too).
Will really cares about your experience and no amount of money can buy the amount of love and artistry he puts into his work. The experience was amazing, and the photographs were just stunning. I've had people tell me that they are the most beautiful wedding shots they had seen. I would recommend Will to absolutely anyone. -

Where do I even begin? We had our dream wedding thanks in huge part to Will.
We were not looking to have a traditional wedding, rather something small and intimate, yet elegant and chic. Will immediately understood what we were trying to do and helped us bring the whole day together.
From the start, he provided us with a full template on run-of-show, timing, and things to think about that helped tremendously. In this sense, Will took our vision and put on the hat of wedding planner to help us organize our day around that vision.
Leading up to the wedding, Will was incredibly responsive, giving us space to plan our day while being available for updates and insight as things moved and changed.
The day-of was perfect. Will brings an incredible energy and warmth, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day while feeling completely taken care of. He kept track of timing, family members for photos, and gave great direction resulting in the most beautiful photos.

From start to finish, Will was it. We knew we wanted to work with not only an incredibly creative and talented person, but one that makes you feel like gold on the best day of your life. We found Will through one of our best friends, Seth, another fellow wedding photographer. From booking to week of the wedding, Will was super, super attentive, scheduling regular check-ins with us as we all tried navigating the journey of planning a wedding during a global pandemic. With every check-in, he was calm, collaborative, and super flexible. The process felt like a breeze with him! Then came the wedding day. We had a Thursday wedding - which, granted, isn’t super traditional, but it was much more doable for us. Will agreed to meet us the day before, scope out the venue with us during rehearsal dinner, & then just hung out with us the rest of the night! He was honestly an honorary member of our wedding party. The day of the wedding was nothing but smooth and wildly fun. Will was there to capture it all, from our quirky little greenhouse venue to getting splashed up to his waist trying to capture some of our friends drunkenly jumping into the hotel pool during the reception. He. Did. Not. Miss. A. Beat. Not only was the day of wedding perfect, but Will also turned around a hefty preview album for us literally the week after the wedding so we could spend half of our honeymoon reveling & reliving the most special day. Needless to say, the photos are nothing short of perfect. He captured our fall colors in springtime lighting like a magician. Hire HIM!!!!
I am so thankful that we found Will! From the beginning he was helpful in planning when we were making early decisions. We are very lucky to have someone that knew the Big Sur area as well as him. I can honestly say he was basically responsible for planning our elopement. On our day he made us very comfortable despite never have taken couples photos. I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure to meet someone as just genuinely nice as him! He really wants to make it the perfect day. The fact that he specializes in elopements made him the perfect choice. I mean the guy was climbing sides of rocks and hills for the shots. I have absolutely no doubts he will shoot it out of the park for you. -

Will has such an artistic view
My husband and I are so happy that we were able to get to know Will and have him share our special day.
From the moment we chatted with Will we knew he was going to be a perfect match. He was not only extremely professional but he was so helpful with all kinds of wedding planning, even from day one! He was familiar with the area we were getting married in and sent over a few galleries for us to see what he had photographed previously in these areas.
We were originally going to split coverage with 2 days of shooting. Will had helped us plan the logistics and timing for both days to ensure we get the best light for photos each day.
As with most 2020 weddings, we had to make many changes to our day (and eventually condensed it down to one day with only family) and Will, yet again, helped us plan out a new timeline to ensure that we got all the shots we wanted. We even were able to take a small trip to a different location for our First Look.
It is very obvious that Will has been doing this a long time as he has an eye for detail. He helped around the venue on the day of; helping our florist tie down our decorations and being sure my dress was stored safely! My whole family loved Will’s friendly disposition and soft-spoken nature. He is overly kind hearted and he brought out the best in us!
Will went above and beyond his duties as a photographer and an artist. He not only captured our special day so we could share it with those that weren’t able to join but he gave us well thought-out works of art that my husband and I will cherish forever. Even after our photos were ready to view, he still put in extra time and effort to make a few adjustments/edits to our prints!
In the end, all I can say about Will is that if you have the chance to work with him, do it! His work is breathtakingly beautiful. A true artist ;) -

He was our #1 pick when searching for photographers in the Yosemite area and my husband and I thought there was no way we were going to be able to book him for our intimate wedding. Even when doing our initial research, we would constantly go back to his website and just say, “imagine if we got to work with him?”
A great way to get to know your photographer? Take a hike with them! We met Will for the first time, in person, at a random location he sent us in the park, and immediately it was just like we were exploring the park with a friend. It was such a fun adventure experience, and something we love telling people we hiked with our photographer!
We thought we had a vision for what our photos would be like, with the help of Pinterest inspiration and the “classic“ Yosemite photos. But in the end our all-time favorite photos are when we just let Will direct us and we trusted his vision. We live in LA, so Yosemite is a destination for us but Will’s experience and knowledge with the area took us to locations we could have never found on our own. He was great at balancing the iconic photos we had seen and wanted, and creating these amazing pieces of art.
Will truly is a storyteller, and we are so grateful to have these amazing moments captured to share with our family forever. When we look back on our wedding/pre-wedding pictures, one things we just say is, “We are so lucky. I can’t believe these pictures are US!”
Our story is not unique, we got engaged a week before shutdown so we knew it was going to be a struggle to plan anything. Will was amazing with accommodating for Covid related potential issues. He was constantly communicating with us, making potential schedule changes for us (which thankfully we did not end up needing), and via his website we found our amazing videographers as well!
I can go on and on about Will and his creative talents with a camera, but at the end of the day Will is just a amazing person to work with. Working with Will will always be one of the best investments we have made, and for anyone who is in the decision process. Will is beyond a photographer; he becomes your friend, your visionary, and someone you will cherish to have worked with. Most, if not all, of our vendors knew Will and had such high praise for him.
We cannot wait to continue to follow Will’s work and keep being blown away!

Amazing Experience
We spent three days total with Will. We had a pre-wedding session in Big Sur and a two day session in Yosemite so we could be there for both sunset and sunrise. Three days in a row resulted in a very tight schedule but Will made sure all we had to do was show up. He gave us a timeline of when and where we had to be in order to get those famous Yosemite shots. He always showed up on time, prepared, and with snacks. He drove us between locations in Yosemite so we didn't have to worry about directions. He was flexible when we suddenly decided to say our vows at sunrise instead of sunset. And again when our cake cutting location didn't feel right, he helped us find the perfect spot. He wasn't even mad when my husband sprayed a bottle of champagne all over his back! He did everything possible to make sure our elopement was enjoyable. And of course our photos came out amazing. We highly recommend him. -

My now husband and I were supposed to have our international wedding in March 2020. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened and had to cancel those plans. We were debating if elopement was our way to go and with much deliberation, we decided, why not? Our biggest ask was to find a photographer that would capture every moment of us. That photographer is Will Khoury.
We already loved Will's work from the beginning, that's why we hired him. But because our initial plans for our wedding didn't pan out, we were still in the phase of uncertainty but to have Will work with you so exclusively, gives you that much more confidence, that without even meeting, come the day of the elopement, everything was effortless, easy and made you feel taken care of.
The only challenge was location. Will worked with us extensively to understand where we wanted to have the ceremony weeks in advance and assured us the post ceremony photo spots would stay true to our big picture ideas: moody, forest and ocean cliffside vibes. Also, there was a park ranger that notified us that we couldn't have our photos taken in certain spots, but Will made sure to not disappoint and came prepared with many creative options on the spot to make everything work.
The coverage on the elopement day was flawless. Will knows how to keep the bride and groom in a good suspense; to keep us from seeing each other until we reach the location, managing the 3 guests we did have and seamless moving us to the each location was effortless clockwork that allowed us to enjoy us as a couple without worrying about the extras.
Will's work speaks volumes. When we received our photos, we were in shock and awe! And still are. Our pictures came out phenomenal!! His photos not only captured the beauty of our elopement but everything we wanted and that much more. We also had amazing surprises, a sunset picnic and night photo session that was beyond anything we can ask for. Will is friendly, genuine, professional and he understands what the couple wants and needs on their special day.

AMAZING Quality & Quantity!
We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day! Due to the craziness of COVID, our wedding plans changed multiple times before the big day. Will jumped right in and remained flexible when our location changed on us three times. Leading up to our wedding, he checked in multiple times to answer any questions we had and assist in planning. Since we couldn't meet in person prior to the wedding, we were so grateful that Will was willing to FaceTime us to learn more about us and help us feel comfortable. He is so easy to get along with!
What I especially love about Will is his dedication to our vision and needs. He made sure all of our requests were met and special moments were captured. He did a beautiful job of capturing the raw, unfiltered moments of our wedding day -- moments of laughter, tears, and awe. He also has a lot of experience with elopements and small weddings (which was not our original plan), so he was such a valuable resource to have and bounce ideas off of!
Lastly, not only are Will's photos BEAUTIFUL, but he is SO generous in the amount of photos for the sneak peeks and full gallery. Wow! We were amazed (and so, so grateful) for the quality and quantity of his photos. I HIGHLY recommend Will Khoury for your special day! -

Couldn't have asked for more.
As anyone could guess, the pandemic threw our engagement photo planning for a loop. We had to reschedule our session so many times due to state closures. We were frustrated, sad, and anxious. Will was always great about calming our nerves, validating us, and reassuring us that this shoot WOULD happen. He made sure to continuously check in on us and accommodated any rescheduling needs. He never made us feel like a burden, quite the opposite, actually. He did so much leg work by scouting alternative sites since so many locations were shut down - taking a huge stressor off of us, once again. I can’t imagine many other photographers taking the time to check-in on their clients so often, scout various locations, and be a calming anchor throughout such a stressful and uncertain time in a couple’s lives. The pandemic lead to weight gain and crazy dyed hair (can you relate?!), but Will worked his magic and the photos came out incredible. I cried. I still cry when I look at them. Will didn’t just capture our love in these photos, he captured our resilience as a couple. These photos will serve as a reminder of what we are able to overcome as husband and wife in the years to come. If anyone is on the fence about having Will as your photographer, just stop right now and book him. Photographers (and friends) like Will are hard to come by; don’t miss out. TL/DR: Hire Will. He is a marvelous communicator, his pictures are organic, beautiful, rich, and capture all the little moments I know other people would have missed. On top of that he is such a wonderful person to be around. I cannot recommend him enough.
Now for the full story:
My (now) husband and I thought eloping in 2020 would be the easy option, but this crazy year had other plans for us. We knew we wanted to hike someplace we love and get hitched on the trail...but that was about all we knew. We had struggled to figure out what our ceremony might look like and what would be obtainable for an adventure elopement.
Enter Will! We fell in love with his pictures on-line, and after meeting with him and our other photographer candidates via zoom....we knew he was the right choice for us. Will really took the time to get to know us, even though it was a crazy season for everyone. He genuinely was interested in who we are, and how we work together as a couple and I think that really shows in the photos he captures as they look so personal to us. He helped us through figuring out what our PERFECT ceremony was, and it really made us feel comfortable knowing we had someone that's done this before and knows what to expect (this was key, logistically speaking). Even though an unfortunate wind pattern and one of the worst fires in CA history had ash and smoke raining down on us for our day, Will remained calm and flexible as we made last minute audibles to accommodate the insanity that is 2020, and was an incredible touchstone for us as we navigated multiple back up plans. The day itself was amazing. We (read: I) am incredibly awkward in photos and in situations where people are staring at me...yet I felt SO comfortable with Will. He's a laid back guy that felt like one of our friends. He's also very thoughtful and just wonderful to be around and gives off a warm and inviting energy. He was so instrumental to making our day perfect (despite the smoke!). He communicated with us clearly when he would deliver the pictures, and wowed us with a sneak peak gallery not long after the wedding to share with family and friends. I was/am blown away....I could see from his other work that he is an incredibly gifted photographer but these pictures captured US and looked so amazing. (Again, I'm usually so awkward in photos and I couldn't believe how natural we looked!!). We just got through looking at our entire gallery he sent over (to include a sweet little video montage that is easy to share with family and friends) and I balled my eyes out. He somehow managed to capture the little intricacies of the day and the interactions between me and my husband, and little moments between our friends as well...and that truly mean so much to us. He somehow did all that with also capturing the beauty of the surrounding area and the majesty of the mountains we could see through the smoke. Our friends and family have told us that they felt like they were there with us as they worked their way through the photos, and expressed gratitude that they could feel like they were somehow apart of our day, even though they were across the country.
I expected a lot out of Will, and yet somehow he surpassed every expectation. Hire Will for this very important day of yours...you'll be in good hands! -

Incredible
Will is the most amazing elopement photographer we could've asked for. We planned our elopement in less than 3 months and he helped us with planning every step of the way. He helped us find local vendors, lodging tips/options, officiant options, location scouting for our wedding spot, hiking recommendations, and laid out our itinerary. He was also always available to answer our questions. Working with Will while in Yosemite was an absolute blast! He made us feel so comfortable and let us truly be ourselves with our elopement. He is a great person and so kind and thoughtful. Our photos are SO STUNNING!!!! We're in love with all of them and he did such an amazing job. We 100% recommend him for any couple!!! -

We could not be happier- stunning work!
Working with Will was an absolutely dream. He is supremely talented- at shooting, editing, and styling photographs. My husband and I planned an 'elopement' shoot after cancelling our summer wedding due to Covid- and I had no idea where to start looking for the right photographer. I am so glad I came across Will's portfolio when searching for photographers who've specifically shot in Big Sur. You can trust that the stunning photos on his website are, in fact, what you get! He went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule, our budget, the uncertainty of fire season, our camera-shyness, our particular hopes and dreams, the timing, the light...basically every single aspect that would make a person anxious. He puts so much thought and effort into getting to know each couple and what they are looking for, and how to bring out their personalities and individuality (and beauty!) in his photographs. I could not recommend Will more highly. We didn't get a 'wedding', but what we did get was memorable, beautiful, gorgeously documented and made so magical by Will's images. During the crazy times of COVID Will made sure to make sure my special proposal was not anything but perfect! Will spent many phone calls making sure everything was going to work! I was coming from SC all the way to Yosemite in CA. Communication is key for something like this. With no cell service in the national park, Will made sure to be there on time and in location to capture the perfect shots without ruining the surprise! The sneak peeks we had back extremely quick! If you are on wondering if Will would do a great job... look no further than all of the positive reviews for him! Will is amazing and will accommodate any type of plan or location! -
