Venue was magical, staff and management were all very attentive. My only concern is that Bathroom stalls were very outdated. It needs to be fixed and keep it clean all the time special when there’s function going on.

This venue was beautiful and amazing. The DJ Mark was great and the food we choose from the vendor was amazing. If you choose to have your wedding at Wildwood, make sure that you go to every open house for at least six months to try the different food that Lynn makes.

My husband and I got married at Wildwood Acres in June 2013 and it truly was our PERFECT wedding day! We feel incredibly fortunate to have gotten married at such a beautiful and magical venue and to have received the support of the owners, Dan & Lein, throughout the wedding planning process. For anyone who loves trees, flowers, serenity, and the enchantment of nature, this is an ideal place to get married. What’s more is that this is a family run business which spans two generations, and for decades this family has poured love, commitment, and creativity into nurturing the land and creating a sacred space to hold ceremony and celebration. Trust me, you will feel this the moment you set foot on the land!
From the first moment we entered Wildwood Acres we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. As we walked farther into the venue we became more and more amazed by all the different patios, the canopy of trees, and the fountains… our biggest delight came we got to the top of the venue where we found a cathedral of trees under which ceremonies take place. Len and Dan were warm and delightful, and we became friends right away. As a bride and groom new to the world of weddings, we were so happy to have support. They kept us calm and happy, and were always available when we wanted to talk during our year of planning.
On the day of the wedding Lein, Dan, and their crew took care of everything! The dinner, appetizers and grilled-cheese after dinner snack were DELICIOUS! Our guests continue to rave about the food, even two months after the wedding! Everyone began with hearty portions, and many went back for seconds. Our guests were amazed that the environment, the service, and the food were so extraordinary – this shows what a find Wildwood Acres is!
In summary, we received EXCELLENT service throughout the preparation and the day, an abundance of delicious food, and an extraordinary environment! We had the most beautiful day we could have imagined!!!

I absolutely loved this place! They are amazing people and made everything so easy for me. The site is beautiful - indoors and out, and they are true professionals. I had a perfect day thanks to the staff at Wildwood Acres.

Wildwood Acres Resort made my life so much easier. I chose to go with their "Simply Beautiful" package so I didn't have to worry about rentals, setup, or tear down for any equipment. I loved the in-house catering, not only is the food delicious, but catering was one more aspect that I didn't have to think about. It is a little on the pricey side, but I found it to be well worth the money. The location is so beautiful I didn't have to spend a lot of money on decorations. This location is worth checking out!

Wildwood Acres is a great place to do your wedding if your looking for a beautiful location that takes care of a lot of things for you. They certainly took load off of my mind. Because they take care of so many details for you, they do things in packages, therefore they are not as flexible as some would prefer. be ready to go with the flow. overall my wedding here went absolutely flawlessly, i got my entire deposit back, and everybody raved at how beautiful the site was.

The team at Wildwood knows their business. If you don't have strong opinions or ideas on how you want things to look they will step in with suggestions. If, like me, you have a very clear idea of what you want they will definitely work with you to make that vision come true. Even though we had been to wildwood multiple times and we had spent months planning everything I was stunned at how beautiful it was when it all came together. Catering is handled by Lien and Dan (the owners) but don't worry, the food is amazing. Highly recommend the tritip and turkey. If you want a beautiful, laid back, hidden venue Wildwood is the place.

This venue does not allow outside catering, however, the owner is also the head chef and she buys fresh ingredients and prepares the food with her staff and it tastes so much better than typical wedding food. I highly suggest going to their open house to taste the food and see the venue.

I looked all over the Bay Area at wedding venues and this venue was the most affordable for an outdoor wedding that wasn't at a golf course.

They were so excited to have my hawk fly the rings up the aisle, they worked extra hard to make sure we chose them as our venue. The owners were involved in everything! Other than guests getting confused with which restroom to use, everything was fantastic!

I highly recommend this wedding venue! I can't even begin to explain how happy Lien and Dan made me on my wedding day!

I was worried in the months leading up to the wedding. I read some mixed reviews of the venue --- people saying that Lien is hard to work with, that she was inflexible with the couple during the planning and unprofessional with her staff during the wedding. I was worried that, on the wedding day, the venue would look put together enough. There aren't pictures available of the buffet and bar set up --- I was concerned that it was going to look cheap/cheesy. I was worried about first impression of the venue; Lien was going to have water set up for people as they walked in and I was worried it wouldn't be pretty (what if it were ugly plastic jugs?!).

On the day of the wedding, I walked into the venue and almost started crying. It was so beautiful! The buffet table at the entry was beautifully decorated with photos, and gift area, and cute water dispensers filled with bright fruit. The dinner tables looked amazing (I bought large beige linen napkins to lay down in the center of the round table, under the flowers, to add some dimension -- it was a nice way to dress up the round tables) and the ceremony site was so breathtaking (we opted to not use the green runner --- I don't think that it looks good in pictures and the brick patio alternative is so nice). At night, the place was dimly lit up with strung lights and it felt very dreamy and romantic.

The food was great! Lien was totally up for customizing the menu with me. We did a southern-style menu; deviled eggs, cajun salmon, tritip steak, succotash, mac and cheese, and cornbread for dinner (among some other things). It was tasty and charming.

Caveat - Lien can be quite forceful/direct. If you need to be doted on, this may not be the best venue for you. Working with Lien, you need to trust her judgement and tell her what is important to you. She is a great partner.

The team at Wildwood Acres made my day perfect. They were flexible, accommodating, generous and friendly. Dan and Lien are two remarkable people who go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Lien treated us like family, helping us plan the day and figure out the details. Dan was there at our rehearsal and his suggestions and experience helped the ceremony flow smoothly. (Dan is a quiet guy and likes to play in the woods, but be sure to pull him out and strike up a conversation with him as he has a lot to offer). From the DJ to the food not a single hitch. Even though our wedding is over we plan to go back and visit our new friends at Wildwood Acres whenever we get a chance.
Beyond the professional and warm service the venue is quite special. At least half of our quest commented on the simple, majestic beauty of this site. As soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect for me. The grounds, the trees, the fountains and all the flowers create a magical back drop.
Lastly, the food, because it was the thing that sealed the deal. Fresh, delicious and local.
    I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

Wildwood Acres was beautiful, such a romantic location! Our wedding was so lovely, and our guests raved about the location and food. Wildwood Acres provides the dinner catering, and the food is exceptional. The staff was experienced and friendly. There were a few complications with the contract we received, but they were all worked out in time for the big day. Be sure to check, check, and double check your contract!

Venue was gorgeous on our wedding day. They clean it up nicely and take pride in their work.

However I have a few comments/suggestions for future brides. It was discussed from the beginning and suggested by the Owners that we didn't need a wedding planner because they take care of everything, NOT TRUE. They do not put out extras you may have such as name cards, guest book, signage, picture frames, extra table decor, etc. My suggestion...hire a wedding planner.

Since this is the first wedding you will most likely be planning, think about the number of hours you are renting the venue for. Time is of the essence and if you want to party longer, make sure to do the math. There is a per hour charge, if you want drinks, you have to pay per person from the start of the party, and a bartender fee. Everything adds up! Make sure to do your research. DON'T let them rush you without asking EVERY question you can possibly think of!

The food was great! Loved the scalloped potatoes! We heard horror stories about how they have run out of food in the past. But, during our meetings, we stressed to her that we did not want to run out of food. And there was ample of it!

Great place overall, there were just a lot of little surprises and extra costs in the end!

Wildwood Acres was a really nice place to have our wedding. I would have to say that I wouldnt recommend them though. They were a little hard to deal with. We decided to have our wedding at Wildwood acres because it was easy for us to plan the wedding cross country. I am currently in law school in Missouri and my husband is in med school here. We went with a place that did everything for us.

They were hard to deal with before the wedding. They wouldn't call us when payments were due, granted they shouldn't have to, but we were busy. They didn't let us pay all at once like we wanted to, and so they wanted us to pay in increments. So we would get these nasty calls from them saying "if you don't pay us now, we're canceling your wedding" and we would call and pay. They just made that really difficult.

At the actual day of the wedding they forced us to have a cash bar when we didn't want to serve any alcohol, for our day time wedding. They had so little food that many of our guests didn't get a single thing. We did like an afternoon tea type thing where they were to serve appetizers on trays to our guests... many didn't get anything. I was irritated. I had arranged a guitar player to play during our reception, who was a friend of ours. He wanted to relax a little after the ceremony then start to play. While I am up at the alter taking pictures, I hear the grateful dead playing. Apparently a guest told the people that he wanted to plug in his ipod and they pulled out this speaker thing and he plugged it in. They sent us a $200 charge for this great amenity. I wanted a low key, quiet gypsy guitar player and instead I am listening to the grateful dead and I am paying $200 for this luxury... Irritated.

When our time was up for the space, b/c it was a day wedding, they basically told my husband that we had to get out now. He was so upset by this that he almost broke down. Luckily my mom handled it and we left without incident, but for them to be so rude to the groom was appalling.

They made us put down a $1000 deposit for the day of the wedding. We got back $450 because of all these stupid charges they gave us on the day of the wedding. It just irks me that they run such a scam. I would not recommend them.
