Lori was absolutely amazing! She somehow managed to transform an already beautiful venue (Cork Factory Hotel) into an insanely stunning space for both our ceremony and reception. Our wedding was in October, but please don’t let my delayed review take away from how pleased we were with everything she did for us! I was difficult since I really had no idea what types of flowers or arrangements we wanted, but Lori took the vague ideas I gave her and turned our venue into the most beautiful space I ever could have imagined! We wouldn’t change a thing, and would use Lori again in a second. -

Working with Lori for our wedding just felt so easy! Early on in the process, I remember having a long conversation with her over the phone where I described my thoughts for the flowers and centerpieces. Lori had so many great ideas and just seemed to understand the look and feel of what I wanted, which made me feel so confident in trusting her vision. Everything turned out so beautifully and I could not have been happier. Lori is truly gifted at what she does! -

Lori is simply amazing!!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her work. She went above and beyond in making my wedding a flowery wonderland! I knew the color palette that I wanted and that I wanted a more organic feel and I told her to run with the rest. She pulled through 100%. I know it may be scary to spend big dollar amounts on flowers...but let me just say I wouldn't have done it any other way and I am so glad I chose her. The flowers were breathtaking and all of our guests raved at the beauty. I would definitely recommend Lori in a heartbeat. -

When you first meet with Lori, she will probably neglect to mention that she is some sort of wizard who will entirely transform your wedding venue into a magical garden.
We had some weird furniture rentals that Lori masterfully incorporated into her design.
We got married at the Cork Factory and then Lori assisted in flipping the room for the reception. I can't even begin to describe how insane our head table looked. We took her advice on a lot of the direction and could not be happier with how everything came out. -

Lori completely nailed our vision for our wedding! We got married in September 2015 at the Farm at Eagles Ridge, and were going for a rustic, ethereal vibe for our decor. The bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and ceremony decor were all gorgeous and embodied that vision - and Lori suggested some unique elements like using hops and a leather wrap for the boutonnieres and using crates to add height and visual interest to our centerpieces. Lori was also happy to suggest budget-friendly ideas to help us stay within our desired spending range, such as using gypsophilia for half of the centerpieces - which ended up looking gorgeous and saving us quite a bit of money. I would definitely recommend Lori for your wedding florals - she was very easy to work with, was quick to respond to emails, and was able to design beautiful arrangements that fit into our design scheme and budget. A+ vendor! -

Let me start by saying that when I first started with wedding planning, I didn't want to put a lot of focus or money into the flowers. However, after meeting Lori, an amazing professional and artist, I ended up with the most gorgeous flowers I could have ever imagined at my wedding. The name really drew me in because it was exactly what I wanted: wildflowers by design, flowers that looked completely natural and freshly-picked but with polished design and arrangements.
When my fiance (now-hubby) and I first met with Lori a year before the wedding, we knew what we didn't want but we had a hard time describing what we did want. Lori knew all the right questions to ask and she really listened. On the wedding day, she totally nailed it! And not only were they beautiful, but she was very mindful of staying within our modest budget. The chuppah florals that she designed were breathtaking, and the colors were stunning. She knows how to let the flowers speak for themselves and how to create simple designs that we asked for while making them so gorgeous that they turn heads.
And on top of all that, she is the sweetest person to work with and her enthusiasm is contagious. She obviously has a true love and gift for flowers, she loves her work, and because of that she makes you feel like your flowers are the most beautiful she's ever designed. We're so lucky that we got to work with Lori at Wildflowers by Design. -

Wow, wow, wow! There really are no words to describe how amazing Lori from wildflowers by design is! From the moment we had our first meeting with her, we knew that she was going to capture our vision perfectly. She is confident, fun, and unbelievably talented! She went above and beyond and even helped us pick out decor rental pieces that would fit our vision, and she also provided her styling expertise. Her eye for floral design is incredible! From my bouquet to the centerpieces, she knocked it out of the park! My husband and I have commented many times since our wedding that we feel so lucky that we were able to work with such an amazing person and vendor. I would recommend wildflowers by design to any future bride and groom looking for fun, unique, and stunning floral design for their wedding! -

Wildflowers by design was wonderful to work with, even long distance. I was never able to meet with her, but she understood my vision and my bouquets turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She was able to work within my budget and was so helpful guiding me through the process. -

Wildflowers by Design provided the flowers for my daughter's wedding on 9/21/14 at the Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown, PA.. We had to make a last minute change in florist and Lori was able to jump in and do a phenomenal job. The personal flowers, ceremony flowers, and the table arrangements were gorgeous, creative,unusual, and so well suited to the venue There was nothing "cookie cutter" about them. Lori listened to what we wanted and she delivered beyond our expectations. She was also fun to work with! I would highly recommend her and wish I had another reason to use her services! -

Let me begin by saying that I started wedding planning thinking that flowers were not high on my priority list, but as I looked more and more at blogs and magazines, I realized that the flowers were what stood out to me about each individual wedding. I was amazed at the photos of Lori from WBD's work on-line and during our initial meeting, so I had to book with her. I was even more amazed after seeing it in person on our wedding day!
Lori was so flexible and responsive, and she used her talent and creativeness to bring my "romantic woodland" vision to life! The colors and design were even better than I'd hoped, and EVERYONE at the wedding (vendors included) was impressed with our centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. Lori even went above and beyond by using extra petals for our aisle and succulents throughout the reception to add that little extra touch. If you are looking for something truly unique and appreciate her style and love for local flowers, then I HIGHLY recommend WBD for your wedding/event!! -

In the beginning I was very indecisive about what I wanted the look to be for the wedding and Lori stuck it out with me every step of the way to help me create the look I wanted. I absolutely loved everything she did! Everyone commented on the flowers and how beautiful they were. I would highly recommend her to anyone who asked. Amazing, talented florist!!! Wildflowers by Design does beautiful work, and the owner Lori Witmer, goes above and beyond and puts her creative design in everything she does. I was able to tell her the color scheme, style of our wedding, flowers and textures I liked and the creations she designed was above and beyond what I envisioned. The flowers made my wedding spectacular and I got emotional when I saw the work she had done as it was breathtaking. We received so many compliments on our wedding and the flowers fit perfectly and created the wedding of our dreams. It is one the main reasons our wedding got featured in Lancaster County Magazine and on Style Me Pretty on their blog site. Lori was an amazing florist to work with. I have two close friends who work in the wedding business in the Lancaster area. When I asked them who their favorite florist is, they both said Lori is the best in the business. I am so very glad I booked her! I gave her a general idea of what I wanted, and she completely wowed me with the results. Flowers were a large part of my wedding decor and she did a phenomenal job. We met twice during our engagement and she took detailed, meticulous notes of a true professional. She understood the theme and the feel that I wanted to convey at my wedding and nailed it! Communication was a breeze; she was responsive, friendly and just plain adorable! Lori really listened to what I wanted. She made suggestions and asked questions. She was very respectful of my budget. For the reception I had 3 different arrangements for the tables. Each one was beautiful. My bouquet was peonies. Absolutely beautiful. I wanted to provide my own containers, which made extra work for her. I changed my mind several times about whether or not I wanted aisle way pomanders etc. she was very accommodating. A very talented artist and a delight to work with. -

Lori is very gifted when it comes to creating flower arrangements. Although she only did bouquets and bouts for us, they were absolutely gorgeous. She listened to my mishmash of ideas and managed to come up with bouquets that were exactly what I wanted. She was also flexible on cost, being willing to change the bouquets to make them more affordable if I wanted. She was easy to work with. -

My bouquet was soo gorgeous, as were the bridesmaids, the bouts, the moms flowers, the ceremony flowers! I loved them all on the day of, and when I look back at the pictures I can't believe how awesome the flowers looked. Everyone complimented them, they looked so wonderful.
To all the future brides, Lori is the best in the business. She was wonderful to work with and exceeded my expectations. Lori worked with my budget and really incorporated and listened to my input. In our first meeting we discussed my flower budget, the wedding colors, that I did not want any white flowers, and the texture and colors I liked. Everything else was up to Lori's creation, and my flowers could not have been any nicer had we paid a million dollars. The rest of communication was through email. Lori was always very responsive and great to work with. She was also very flexible adding another bout at the last minute. Lori has done the flowers for all three of my children's weddings with the last two being in the summer of 2010. WOW!! Beautiful, all so very different and uniquely each brides style and desire. She hosts a very professional consultation and as she listens, she hears what the bride wants and can see it in her mind. The day of the wedding, she explodes with exactly what each bride wanted to see happen above and beyond. Turn Lori loose with a few of your ideas and she can be trusted to deliver every time. -

We wanted to personally thank you immediately for the beyond amazing/beautiful/breathtaking flowers you put together. We met with Lori with no idea on what flowers to chose or what style, we only knew that we wanted purple to be in the bouquets. We gave her very little to go on ~ just telling her to go with it. The flowers turned out perfect! With just the short meeting we had with her and her questions to us, she was able to put together absolutely beautiful arrangements. We couldn't be more pleased. I HIGHLY recommend Lori to anyone who asks. And don't worry that you don't know what you want, or know the names of the flowers, she will come through for you. Lori...THANK YOU! You helped to make my daughters wedding just what she hoped for! -

The flowers were absolutely beautiful. When I met with Lori I was nervous about what to pick for my wedding, and had no idea what I wanted. She had ideas of flowers and colors that I would have never thought to put together. The flowers turned out amazing. I would highly recommend using this florist. -

Lori is fantastic! I only needed 4 bouquets, and she put together the coolest arrangements I have ever seen. I got so many compliments. She totally nailed what I wanted! My photographer couldn't get enough of them either. -

Lori designed the flowers for our wedding in September 2008. She was so accommodating and creative. She also tried to make things cost effective for my husband and I. We really appreciated her flexibility and product quality. The flowers were an important part of our wedding because they communicated a part of us. She really pulled the whole thing together with them. My sister had her flowers done by her as well the next year and they were GORGEOUS. My sister did a trial run with Lori and I wish I would have done that as well. Also, it is important to get Lori swatches if you are trying to match colors. That is a big help to her. Those were the only two things I would have done differently. She is amazing. You will love her!!! -

Lori did an amazing job, 35 weeks pregnant may I add! I am a flower guru and this was one of the most important pieces to my wedding. While my groom however is pretty much allergic to every flower possible. I wanted texture and fall colors in addition to adding other details that represented us as a couple, ie. hops since we brewed our own beer and feathers for my waterfowl hunting groom. When talking to Lori and giving her these ideas and examples she made it seem like she was also excited to be taking my ideas and bringing them to life. And the final product showed this through and through. I love how she also was able to take my elements and use them throughout the event. It was so awesome to go around and see all the different ways she created the florals. There were surprises around every corner. While I spent what may be considered a significant amount of money on flowers, it was worth every penny. I just wish they would last forever!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH LORI! -

Lori went well above and beyond my expectations for our wedding. I'll never understand how someone can take the vaguest explanation of what you're picturing and turn it into everything you didn't know you even wanted. Not only were our flowers absolutely gorgeous, she completely styled every table for our reception individually all the way down to the smallest details like a sprig of sage on each guests napkin. -

Lori did all the flowers for our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. She was easy to work with and very helpful in coming up with ideas to lower costs when I asked (we ended up reusing the bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces). The flowers were high quality and exactly what I wanted. -

Super disappointed with my experience with wildflowers by design. I had gotten in touch with Lori about a year before our wedding date and even had phone conversation laying out what we needed for our reception, colors, flowers, vessels. We left it with her contacting me in the next week or so with an estimate so we could make a down payment. A week passes and I heard nothing. Sent an email to check in; and still nothing. I made contact again and still nothing. It was a shame because she had such great reviews and seemed like a great fit for our aesthetics. Just a confusing and disappointing situation. Seems like great business, but somehow I didn't get to experience what others did! Main advice: Don't put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to searching for any vendor. -

It appears that everyone that has left a review had a positive experience with Wildflowers by Design, unfortunately we did not. We were overcharged and disappointed by the services we received from Wildflowers by design. Other than the initial meeting there was very little communication from her afterwards including after the ceremony when we still have not heard back from her after voicing our concerns. I would strongly recommend shopping around before deciding on her unless she is much cheaper than other quotes that you receive because if your experience is like mine you are better off paying a little more and getting better service with another designer.
