  The Best Team!

  We had an intimate adventure wedding in Lake Tahoe and Karissa and Mike truly made our wedding dreams come true! They are so kind and easy to connect with, have bountiful resources and planning information, and they capture the most beautiful moments through photography and videography. The quality of their work is incredible - we will always cherish our wedding photos and video (accompanied by gorgeous music). Most importantly, they helped create an unforgettable experience where we could soak in every moment and tailored it to our wedding dreams. We are so grateful for them and their kind artistry. Highly recommend!

  The Best Photography Team!

  Booking a wedding photographer can be a daunting task! There are so many photographers in Southern California and it can be hard to know where to start. When we found Karissa and Mike, we fell in love with their work. However, after meeting with them, we knew we had to book them. We instantly clicked; they made us feel so at ease and it felt like we were chatting with friends! This was all pre-COVID.. When we were thrown the postponement curveball (twice), they could not have been more understanding and supportive. They really went above and beyond and were so gracious in the rescheduling process. While we haven’t had our wedding yet, we did opt to do a Joshua Tree adventure session with them in the meantime. We were blown away by the pictures!! The day was so much fun and we could not recommend Karissa and Mike enough! If you are able to book them for any photography sessions, guaranteed you will have the best day and love the end result!! They are truly a special, amazing team. We can't wait to have them photograph our wedding.

  The easiest experience of our 2020 wedding

  Karissa and Mike made our 2020 wedding SO perfect, despite every curveball that was thrown our way. We booked them initially for our 200+ person wedding when we came across their positive reviews and amazingly warm, striking and moving pictures we saw online (check them out on insta at @wildflowerphotoco). From the first meeting, they were so personable and engaged. We booked them right away. And through all the twists and turns of changing our 200+ wedding to a 15 person elopement, Karissa and Mike were there. They went above and beyond in their support, communication, and professionalism. They not only shot our mini-wedding but also did a 2nd day with us to grab some nature shots. They found the most amazing location and even though it was pouring rain when we got there, they were troopers and took the most AMAZING pictures once we got a break in the storm. We actually ended up using Mike to do video, and he absolutely crushed it. We’ve watched our wedding video at least 100 times and cry every time. The pictures ended up better than I could have even imagined. Not a single detail was missed and everything was captured so well. The sneak peeks they sent the next day were incredible. I literally have nothing but amazing things to say about them, so if you’re thinking of booking them DO IT. You won’t regret it, and they’ll be one of the best parts of your special day. Thank you Karissa and Mike!

  Wonderful!

  Karissa and Mike are WONDERFUL. Their prices are completely reasonable, they are very responsive (will never leave you hanging), and are super accommodating and helpful! Not to mention, that they have an eye for beautiful compositions--you can trust that they will capture the beauty, fun, and emotion of your special day. We had to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021, and Karissa and Mike were very supportive and understanding--they have been very willing to reschedule without any additional fees. We decided to elope now (2020) and hold our original wedding plans in 2021, and were so thrilled when, in mid-pandemic, Karissa and Mike agreed to drive down to our neighborhood to document our special day! They got tested for COVID-19 prior to our photo shoot and took all precautions (wore masks, socially distanced, and held our photo shoot outside). They were absolutely lovely and patient with our family members (including dogs), and offered great suggestions along the way. We were so touched when they even played us some music in the middle of our neighborhood street, to which we had our first dance as newly weds. We have been so so happy with our decision to book Wildflower Photo Co. and are excited to have them back in 2021!

  Our journey with Karissa and Mike, who are just really genuine, hard-working, thoughtful, kind-hearted people with a good sense of humor, started in 2019!
  
  Throughout the road bumps of planning a wedding through a pandemic, Karissa and Mike were really there for us and we truly consider them as friends now!
  
  Their natural style is what drew me to their work in the first place - nothing is over-edited or too posed. Our first time being photographed professionally was our engagement shoot with Karissa in Malibu - it was just so much fun, the time flew by, and we didn't feel like we were being photographed!
  
  After our initial plans of a big wedding were delayed, we decided to "elope" with our immediate families and Karissa and Mike were instrumental to this happening! They weren't just our photographers, but also our coordinators. On the day that we had planned to have the ceremony, a surprise blizzard hit Mammoth Lakes, but Karissa and Mike were so calm, so prepared, and so supportive. Without prompting, they came up with back-up plans for us and even scouted out alternative location during the storm (and Karissa was pregnant!). That really illustrates their commitment to their couples.
  
  Karissa always remembers the details and listens to your requests. Her ability to remain composed in any situation is quite remarkable.
  
  Mike's ability to compile tear-jerking, heart string-tugging videos is just incredible. He created a memory of our ceremony that we will always treasure.
  
  Karissa and Mike are just the best. Four other couples who are our close friends have all used Wildflower Photo Co., because they are just that good - both their photo AND video are phenomenal. If you're looking for an experience where you are made to feel special, Karissa and Mike are THE best hype team. They are also just a joy to be around.

  Wildflower Photo Co For the WIN!

  My wife and I met Karissa and Mike back in 2019 after we had just gotten engaged and instantly knew we had to hire them. Not only are these two adorable and fantastic people but they're downright professionals through and through.
  
  They made us feel at home especially during 2020 when we had to postpone our wedding multiple times, always finding time to check in with us and see how we were doing/if we had any questions. In addition, they were also very gracious to add on their videography services complimentary to us which made those darker times during the pandemic feel that much brighter.
  
  On the day of our wedding we had the best experience with them. Mike was fantastic at leading the way when it came to getting the shots of the groomsmen and myself leading up to the First Look. Karissa (who was entering her third trimester of pregnancy by the way) was instructive and kind-hearted always ensuring she was getting the necessary photos, but also keeping things fun and playful!
  
  I cannot say this enough, but I consider Mike and Karissa to be like close friends which is not always the case when it comes to vendors. They go above and beyond for their clients and the quality of their work speaks for itself. My wife and I could not be happier and our decision to hire them has been one of the best we've made in the entire wedding planning process! If you want photographers that will make your wedding day an experience to be remembered then please do yourself a favor and hire these two! You won't regret it.

  Amazing talent and fun experience

  Karissa & Mike are highly creative and talented. They were an absolute joy to work with! Karissa photographed my husband and I, while Mike took video. They were both fun and easy-going and made us feel super comfortable, which showed in our gallery.   The absolute BEST!

  Wildflower Photo Co. did an incredible job with our wedding photography. They are extremely responsive, work with you to map out the ideal photography for your big day, really know their stuff and capture absolutely stunning photography (seriously, our friends and family couldn't stop raving about them!).
  
  They also ended up being the saving grace of our big day. We initially had a large wedding planned for the summer, but due to COVID-19, we ended up having to elope without our family and friends in Las Vegas. Karissa updated our plans and was so flexible, kind and empathetic about how difficult this decision must have been for us. The whole process was so seamless and she made our big day so much less stressful. She mapped out a day shooting in Red Rocks Canyon and captured really stunning photos, but also allowed us little moments to soak up the day along the way, really making our big day so special. She also sent us a selection of photos 24 hours after our big day, which was awesome, especially since none of our family or friends were there. It allowed us to share these photos with them a day after the event, allowing them to get a special glimpse into our big day, which was really special.

  Karissa is wonderful!

  From my very first Facetime conversation with Karissa, she has been nothing short of amazing. She has checked in with me every step of the way, sends me little notes and packages every few months and is always available via text or call. My wedding is next month and I know that I am in such good hands with Karissa and Mike.

  Incredible Engagement Photos!

  Karissa was absolutely fabulous to work with! We hired her for our engagement photos and they turned out amazing. We got our "sneak peeks" the day after our session and expect our full gallery in 2 weeks. The photos we have seen are beyond what we imagined! The intimate feel is what initially drew us in. She was also so much fun to work with and made sure we were comfortable in front of the camera. We highly recommend looking into Wildflower Photo Co. when looking for adventure engagement and wedding photography!

  My fiancé and I are pretty camera shy and were worried we wouldn't be able to look natural, but oh my god, Karissa and Mike worked their magic! We couldn't be happier with our engagement photos and keep looking at them nonstop. All my friends and family love them, and I am so so so glad that the Wildflower Photo Co took our pictures. They absolutely went above and beyond our expectations. Plus, Karissa and Mike are fun, engaging, kind, professional, timely, and knowledgeable. Time just flew by when we met in Malibu, hung out, and took pictures. Couples -- do yourselves a favor and shoot them a message now! It will be one of the best choices you'll make in the wedding process :)

She is prompt to respond, has creative and beautiful suggestions, is super professional, and is a joy to be around. We cannot express how much peace it brought us to know that whatever happened on our wedding day, we did not have to worry about photos. We knew they would turn out perfectly, especially after seeing our amazing engagement photos. Karissa's work is worth far more than what she charges and is well worth the investment.   Omg we love karissa and mike

  These 2 are AMAZING!! We love them as individuals and we LOVE them as photographers!! They made it easy to enjoy our little moments and captured our honest feelings!!   Beautiful Humans, Amazing Photographers

  Karissa and Mike took us for an adventure as they photographed us in the beautiful Zion national park. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. They are the nicest people and so much fun to be around! During the photoshoot, Karissa did such a wonderful job capturing genuine moments between my husband and I and made us feel comfortable. She even put on music for us to help us relax and enjoy the experience. I wish everyone could meet them and have their wedding photos done by them because they are just the best!

  Words can’t explain or can never truly explain how grateful and blessed we are to have WildFlowers (Karissa and Mike) as our photographers for our wedding day. They were incredibly kind, genuine, professional and accommodating to our needs. We especially love Karissa and Mike not only because they are such talented and passionate photographers but they are also able to find something interesting and beautiful in the most mundane scene and make the pictures look fantastic.   Fun photo shoot in San Pedro park!

  We had a delightful engagement photo session with Karissa in December 2018. We met at Pt Fermin Park in San Pedro; despite one of the smoggiest LA afternoons we'd ever seen there Karissa took excellent photos of us! She was delightful to work with, happy and infectiously excited. Photos were provided quickly and were excellent! We enjoyed running all over the park with her and would recommend her to anyone looking for fun wedding or personal photography at a terrific rate!

  I cannot recommend Karissa and Mike more for your wedding photography. From the first email exchange, I knew we were in great hands. Karissa is super responsive, organized, kind, and professional. They even sent us a little welcome gift (which we ended up using for our wedding vows)! Karissa and Mike clearly communicate with you all along the way (email and phone call meetings) to make sure they have your vision for the day of. On our wedding day, Karissa and Mike were a source of calm and positivity. Our ceremony had a chaotic start and they worked hard to keep my husband and I focused in the beauty of the present moment. Now let's talk the cherry on top - their GORGEOUS photos! Karissa and Mike were able to give us our entire gallery soon after our wedding and my husband and I, our families and friends were blown away. The color, composition, vibe of the pictures are absolutely stunning. They caught all the most important moments with minimal direction during the reception. Cannot say enough positive things about our experience working with Wildflower Photo Co! Lock them in now before they're booked!

From our first correspondence to receiving our albums from our wedding and engagement shoot, every step of the way has been an absolute joy. Their ability to create honest and fun moments really came out through our photos. It'd be one thing to just get a bunch of really pretty pictures at the end of our special day, but they made the process itself so enjoyable. They were so organized during the shoots, and have been excellent communicators throughout the whole process. You will not be disappointed using them.

The consultation process before the photoshoot is so thorough and professional said you were able to communicate everything you need for your photoshoot before the day of. Both Karissa and Mike are so organized, diligent with taking photos of everything you need, and patients even after hours of shooting. Most importantly, the delivery of our photos is of the highest quality at an affordable rate! We couldn't be happy with our photos.

  We LOVED working with Wildflower Photo Co.

  Where do I even begin with Karissa and Mike? These two are AMAZING! I was not the kind of bride that was super into planning her wedding but the one thing I really, really cared about was having beautiful pictures to look back on. It was one of the biggest sources of stress for me, but after meeting Karissa and Mike all my fears melted away. They are SUCH kind, hard working, and passionate people. My husband and I are both a little camera shy, but they immediately made us feel at ease. It felt more like hanging out with some friends than doing a photo shoot. They both have a wonderful artistic eye and understood exactly the kind of style we were going for. Throughout the planning process, they were always happy to answer any questions or go over any details so we felt completely confident in everything. On the day of the wedding, I had multiple guests coming up to me saying how awesome and fun our photographers were. Their love for what they do is obvious to everyone who sees them in action. And of course, the pictures came out perfect. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers, and anyone would be doing themselves a favor by hiring them!
