Margaux delivered the wedding dress shopping experience of my dreams!!
I inquired about setting up an appointment at Wildflower Bridal after a dear friend told me about her wonderful experience here many years ago. After filling out a brief questionnaire about my hopes and wishes for my wedding and learning more about my vibe, Margaux got straight to work curating a collection of dresses for me to try on for my appointment date. We arrived at the CUTEST little log cabin bridal shop and were greeted warmly by Margaux, who made me feel totally at ease. After a brief chat where we got to know one another, Margaux brought out each of the dresses so we could get a closer look at the details and mentally catalogue which dresses I was most excited about. Easier said than done, because she KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK with knowing exactly what I was looking for. There was a carefully curated selection that reflected everything we had discussed prior, and I just knew that I was leaving with my perfect dress. Margaux made the whole process fun, relaxed, and special. She was such a bright light and her energy was exactly the kind you want helping you make big decisions! I could've walked out of her shop with any of the dresses she curated and been all smiles, but I am happy to say that the final dress I tried on brought tears to my eyes and I SAID YES to being a Wildflower Bride! Margaux is so attentive and even found me the perfect veil to compliment my dress after hearing how much I loved the details from another one of my favorite dresses. She doesn't push, is super mindful of your budget, and even played the song that I hope to be our first dance song so I could have all of the feels. I cannot recommend her and her shop highly enough. I hope if you're reading this, you book an appointment with this small local shop and have your chance to experience her magic! 10/10 BEST VIBES. Happy shopping! -

I had tried two different places before (there was nothing wrong), but I had a truly wonderful experience with Wildflower Bridal and Margaux. Scheduling was very flexible (I had to postpone my appointment), Margaux was very responsive, and she provided so much detail and answered any questions or concerns. The location was lovely. The bridal studio was so open, light, and inviting. You could see Margaux's personal touch everywhere. The selection of gowns, sizes, and prices were all so inclusive! I was truly worried about fitting into dresses, but Margaux assuaged my fears and picked out some amazing dresses to try. She personalized the experience so much that I felt like she really understood my vision, wants, and insecurities, working with me every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable and confident. She even showed so much care and attention (without taking away from me) to my best friend, who went with me. By the time I found my gown, Margaux felt like a friend, truly. She emphasizes local business, from seamstresses to jewelry makers. I can't say enough about how thankful I am to have had someone like Margaux help me in arguably one of the most important decisions of my life. Thank you! -

I would like to start off by saying that I HATE clothing shopping and did not originally think that I wanted a super special wedding dress. We are doing a destination wedding and figured I would be able to pull off a basic department store dress with ease and budget. Surfing the web one day I saw an ad for the MOST beautiful Boho wedding dress. When I followed the links to find a local vendor for that line, I was connected with Margaux at Wildflower Bridal. For the moment we connected I felt positive that I was in the right hands. I was able to schedule an appointment for dress shopping quickly and the location was in the beautiful outskirts of downtown Asheville. The cabin shop had a cozy charm and Margaux provided an experience that was well-prepped, fun, and hassle-free. After ~8 different styles of dresses, which were all aligned with the look I was going for, I returned to the very first dress I tried on and walked out "A Wildflower Bride". With Margaux's help and shared knowledge of bridal gowns I was able to purchase the dress that I didn't realize I had dreamed of. It is both affordable and versatile, comfortable and charming, Boho and elegant. I am thrilled that my dress shopping did not require drawn out shopping trips or stressful experiences with the wrong people. If wedding dress shopping was meant to have return clients, I wouldn't hesitate to become a regular customer. Thank you Wildflower Bridal! You guys operate an amazing shop. -

My experience at Wildflower bridal was seamless and joyful. Margaux is very knowledgeable and kind. When we arrived, she had pre-selected a handful of gowns for me to try on (based on a very detailed questionnaire she sent ahead of time). The very first dress I tried on ended up being the ONE! Wildflower bridal is a unique and beautiful place to shop, I would certainly recommend it to any bride looking for the perfect gown in the Asheville area. -

Marguax is the absolute best! I had the perfect experience at Wildflower Bridal! Working with Margaux was so easy and fun. She made my experience memorable by playing music that I liked in the store. I loved having the shop to myself and my 2 guests. Margaux took the time to ask questions before my appointment and she pulled dresses that were exactly to the style I wanted. I was torn between 2 dresses that were gorgeous. Margaux asked me thoughtful questions that ultimately helped me make my decision. She let me spend time in each dress and I was able to wear earrings, necklaces, a classy belt, and a veil so I could see myself as a beautiful bride. Margaux also donated a proceed of the cost toward local Helen support. I am proud to be a Wildflower bride!

Wildflower bridal is THE PLACE to go and pick out your wedding dress. Margaux tailors the appointment to you. She even plays music you like, pulls dresses based on your Pinterest board (she takes the time to look at it before your appointment) and never makes you feel rushed. Honestly she made the experience so special! Wildflower bridal has so many dresses to choose from and if you are looking for something unique, this is where you need to go. You are the only bride having an appointment in the store which makes it so much less stressful and overstimulating. I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience here. Time flew by because we were enjoying ourselves so much! She really takes the time to get to know you, what your vision is, and even your story with your fiancé. You will not regret making an appointment here! I am so happy to say I’m a Wildflower Bride! -

Wildflower Bridal Review
I have nothing but great things to say about Wildflower. From the start Margaux was extremely communicative, detailed, and flexible (especially when it came to getting me in for my initial appointment.) I had to change my appointment date a few times and she worked with me to get me in as quickly as possible. I used 3 words to describe the look I was going for, and the dresses Margaux selected for me were all 100% spot on. I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect selection. The atmosphere was relaxing, I didn't feel pressured, and most importantly Margaux coached me on HOW to pick my dress. I'm a very indecisive person to begin with, so of course I loved every dress I tried on and I eventually started to get overwhelmed with the thought of making a decision. Margaux continued to remind me that it was important to pick a dress that felt like "me" rather than "me playing dress up" and that advice went a long way. I was able to pick a clear winner with ease. I purchased my wedding dress at my initial appointment. I definitely wasn't expecting that!! I imagined having to go to countless boutiques to try on dozens of gowns, but due to Margaux's excellent skills and ability to clearly understand what I wanted for my big day, I found the dress of my dreams within the first hour! I felt heard, understood, and comfortable with her from the start. Margaux puts so much thought and effort into her craft. She is thorough and knowledgeable, while keeping the process fun and enjoyable. I mean her attention to detail is INCREDIBLE. She even put on a playlist of my favorite artists for the duration of my appointment. It was a completely individualized experience, custom tailored to fit all of my needs. Margaux provides her wildflower brides with a thoughtful gift after purchasing a gown and that was just the cherry on top. 10/10 will be recommending Wildflower Bridal to EVERY soon to be bride I cross paths with. -

My experience at Wildflower Bridal was an absolute dream! Margaux made the process fun, stress-free, and special from beginning to end. I reached out to Margaux via email with some questions and I received a very comprehensive and helpful response within 10 minutes! I knew before the appointment that I would find THE dress at Wildflower Bridal because Margaux took time to really understand my vision/ the vibe of my wedding style with a thoughtful pre-appointment questionnaire. During my time at Wildflower Bridal, I realized that maybe what I thought I wanted in a dress was actually a bit different than what I really loved wearing and Margaux was able to quickly pivot real time with more options that better suited that new vision. Margaux and Wildflower Bridal created such a magical experience for my wedding gown shopping experience. Communication from inquiring to ordering my dream dress was both tentative and sincere. I really enjoyed my one-on-one consultation and shopping experience with Margaux as she genuinely wanted to learn about me and made me feel heard on such an important occasion. The selection she chose for me prior to my appointment was on point. The professionalism definitely helped this process as the pre appointment questionnaire asked everything it should and based on my answers I was provided 6 dresses which were all very difficult to chose from as I loved every single one but ultimately knew when it was THE dress. Margaux is a true professional and thanks to her, Wildflower Bridal was the first and ONLY place I needed to shop to find my wedding dress.
I reached out after my fiance and I set our wedding date, leaving us only 5.5 months to plan our big day from start to finish. I was VERY nervous as I had been told by multiple other bridal shops that I needed to start shopping 9-12 months in advance! 😱 Margaux assured me that if I came in within the next 2 weeks that I would have enough time to order a new made-to-order dress. She was flexible with scheduling and made sure I was able to get in for an appointment within that time frame.
Before my appointment she sent a detailed questionnaire that really helped me put to words what I was looking for in a dress. She also requested a link to my Pinterest board so she could get a better feel for my personal taste.
Upon arrival Margaux had music from my favorite band playing (a part of the questionnaire!) and had hand picked several dresses within my budget for me to try on. She absolutely nailed her pulls as they were all exactly what I said I was looking for, but after trying on about 8 different dresses, I was feeling uneasy having not truly loved how I looked or felt in my favorites thus far.
That's when Margaux took all those little comments I made and body language hints I unknowingly gave throughout my appointment and ran them through her mental rolodex of dresses before turning around and on-the-fly pulling a dress that was buried in a rack behind her desk.✨ The dress was nothing like what I thought I wanted, but before I could even get it all the way on in the dressing room I started to get that "this is the one" feeling.
The dress was sleeveless but Margaux knew that I was serious about wanting a long sleeved dress, so before I could even look at myself in the mirror she grabbed two detachable sleeves from another dress and threw them on my arms. That was exactly what I needed in that moment and seeing the dress with added sleeves made me totally confident that I didn't need to look any further. For several minutes I was so speechless at how different the dress was from what I thought I wanted, but Margaux was so kind and patient and gave me the time and space to absorb that feeling before prompting me to move into better light so she could take more pictures for me on my cell phone.
Once decided, Margaux measured me, talked through which size she recommended I order, walked me through a detailed breakdown of the cost of and shipping timeline for my dress, and ensured that extra fabric and lace were being ordered from the manufacturer so that I could have sleeves made to match. Margaux also gave me a list of her recommended local seamstresses and helped me understand the likely cost of the alterations I was likely to need right there in her shop *before* I checked out.
During my appointment I was never in or looking at a dress that was over my budget, never felt pressured to decide or buy, and always felt heard and supported whenever I had a question or asked for more information.
As I awaited my dress' arrival, Margaux COULD NOT have been more communicative. Upon its on-time arrival, she helped me schedule a pickup appointment around (her own vacation!) so that I had time to try my dress on with a different set of detachable sleeves at my own request. Margaux's measurements and size recommendations were SPOT ON because straight out of the bag my dress fit like a glove and needed no sizing alterations.
All in all, I couldn't have had a better experience. I went from thinking I would need to buy a used or ill-fitting off-the-rack dress to finding (and partially creating!) my unexpected dream dress! If it were not for Margaux's keen listening and observation skills I am certain I would have walked out of her shop empty handed and a lot more stressed. Don't hesitate to book an appointment at Wildflower - you will certainly not regret it! THANK YOU, MARGAUX!

A dress shopping dream
I woke up with such a clear and happy heart today. Yesterday was one of the most memorable days I’ve ever experienced, and it was all thanks to Emily and Margaux at @wildflowerbridal. I’ve never felt as beautiful or unique; understood and listened to; an actual shared sense of excitement and genuine care in a store in my entire life. Their selections for me based on my personal preferences, ideas, and hopes were dresses from dreams. #wildflowerbridal itself felt like that enormous, inviting, and comfortable dream walk in closet at your best friends house growing up. Where you’d each try on every outfit under the sun together until everything was absolutely perfect. Where there’s nothing to worry about, no judgement or anxiety. Just love and joy. If you’re looking for a bridal stylist who will help you find not just the perfect dress but guide you through the magic and wonder of everything you hoped dress shopping could be and more, I could only recommend them. Wildflower Bridal was my second bridal shopping experience; I went into my first thinking I knew exactly what I wanted, only not to be wow’ed by anything I tried on. Luckily, that kept my mind open, and Wildflower Bridal was the perfect next stop.
Margaux has a stellar approach to appointments—she only sees one bride at a time and emails you a very detailed questionnaire, down to asking for your Pinterest boards and the music you’re currently enjoying (so that she can play it during your visit!). She makes you feel like her only priority—she had pulled several gowns already when we arrived, and she asked lots of questions to clarify what I did/didn’t like as we went, which helped me keep things clear in my mind too. Overall, it guided me to the second dress Margaux picked out for me, which makes me feel most like myself (out of *many* dresses I tried on)—I can’t wait to wear it on the big day!
There was absolutely no pressure to make a decision that day (in fact, we had to dash off to another bridal appointment, and she was very understanding). She takes your measurements and makes note of your favorites for future reference—as someone who drove in from out of town, I liked having the option to call in and order a dress without a second appointment (although I ended up taking my mom with me for a second appointment so that she could see the dress in person, and that was also a great, chill experience).
I’ll also note that Margaux is asking everyone to wear a mask still, which I really appreciated. My future MIL was recovering from surgery and is about to begin another round of cancer treatment, so keeping ourselves healthy to keep her healthy is a top priority in COVID/cold/flu season. You are permitted to take off your mask at the end of the appointment for photos.
Margaux has put just as much thought into the layout of the shop as she does appointments—she has a movable full-length mirror set up behind the try-on platform so that you can see the back of each gown, and she knows exactly where to take end-of-appointment photos with the best light. She wheels the full-length mirror to the front of the store so that you can see things in natural light, and she helped my BFF take photos at good angles, down to helping me pose correctly. Seriously, when I was considering my options after the fact, I couldn’t get over how *stunning* I looked in my Wildflower photos compared to other shops, and it wasn’t just the dress.
During my first appointment, Margaux was assisted by Emily, who was new at the time; Emily was also very kind, helped a ton with photos, and actually picked out the earrings I ended up buying to go with the dress.
Accessories in the shop were reasonably priced given the price point of the gowns they have (my veil was $330, earrings and hair comb were ~$125 each)—I could have waited and tried to find something cheaper on Etsy, but it was worthwhile to try them on with the gown and make sure the veil matched, etc.
Margaux also keeps a list of regional seamstresses, including two in my town, that she sends out after you place your order.
TL;DR—go to Wildflower Bridal! You will have a wonderful, relaxed experience and will be in the best hands. -

As a plus size bride I was nervous about finding a dress that fit and made me feel beautiful. After speaking with Margaux about my asthetic for the wedding and my personal style she had choices ready to go in the dressing room when I arrived for my appointment. While I loved them there was something missing from each one. I talked with my mom and sister about each dress as I tried them on. When I got to the final dress she had clearly been listening and she pulled out another option, it was PERFECT it had everything I didn't even realize I wanted. I put it on and had that fairytale moment of bursting into tears, it was meant to be. We had such a wonderful experience that my mother came back from Charleston for another appointment with them to get her Mother of the Bride dress. -

Found my dream wedding dress!!
This was my first time going wedding dress shopping and I ended up getting the first dress I tried on thanks for Margaux and Emily. I didn’t know what to expect going into it and the experience definitely exceeded my expectations. Margaux had me fill out a questionnaire via email prior to my appointment and she was able to have a selection of dresses ready for me when I got there and created the perfect atmosphere for me to feel comfortable. She even had my favorite songs playing in the background. I tried on so many dresses during my appointment which was nice to see so many different styles on me. The selection of gowns at this shop are so beautiful and unique! The prices are so reasonable, i was able to get a stunning dress that didn’t break the bank haha. I love that I was able to have the entire shop to myself during the appointment. I brought my mom and grandmother with me and it was such a beautiful and intimate experience. Margaux and Emily are a great duo, they hype you up and make you feel like a queen! I highly recommend going to wildflower!!! -

I am so happy I found Wildflower Bridal and made the four-hour-round-trip drive. Margaux was extremely helpful, kind and patient. Before I visited the store, I had emailed to see what dresses from a designer I loved would be available. Margaux responded quickly and gave me everything I needed to know and more. My husband and I are a few months out from our covid-rescheduled wedding and after having a baby recently, my original dress was nowhere near fitting. With 3 months to go, I called Margaux (the owner) in a bit of a panic. She was wonderful! She got me in for an appointment in a couple of days, listened to all my concerns (new body, short timeline, and the expense of a whole new dress) and helped me find some great options that would be in on time. Despite only vague ideas of what I wanted (it being my second dress and more of a post-wedding celebration, I was no longer tied to my original vision, but was pretty uncertain of exactly what I DID want.) We had a great time working together, and she made me feel so at ease and excited despite the stress of the situation. Her selection is wonderful and varied, which can be hard to find, and she has a great eye for detail. I'd recommend this shop to anyone dress-hunting in the Asheville! -

Wildflower Bridal was the first place I knew I wanted to go when I was ready to try on dresses. I had passed by the store many times and started following them on Instagram when I got engaged. The dresses looked stunning, the space looked inviting, and knowing that it was a female-owned small business all contributed to my desire to make an appointment. I was asked to fill out a brief questionnaire beforehand which I found incredibly helpful for homing in on what kind of style I was interested in and, most importantly, how I wanted to feel in the dress. All the options Margaux selected for me were beautiful and I felt very taken care of and supported throughout the process. She listened to me and offered advice and answered questions when I needed, and I just had a lovely time there. I also appreciated the intimate setting so it was just my mom and I with no other appointments happening simultaneously. I really appreciated the focus and attention dedicated to my experience. I found the perfect dress that I feel is exactly right for me and that I feel gorgeous in! Also, I came in with a budget and the combined cost of my dress and my veil totaled under that budget, which I was very pleased with. I highly recommend Wildflower Bridal for any bride looking to have a truly wonderful dress shopping experience. -

Me, my matron of honor, and maid of honor had a fantastic time here! I honestly went into my bridal appt with no intentions of buying a dress. It was my first bridal shop and I really just thought i was going to get an idea of what styles I liked. When we got there the atmosphere was very welcoming and professional. They definitely knew what they were doing. Margaux and Kylie were super helpful. They already had dresses picked out for me based on my pintrest boards. They even let us bring some champagne and make some celebration mimosas! I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. No matter how many beautiful dresses I tried after that I couldn't get the second one out of my head. I ended up leaving with my dream dress and I couldn't be happier! The dress selection was amazing and the prices were very reasonable! I 100% recommend this place for future brides! -

The ladies at Wildflower Bridal got to know me from the questionnaire and in-person discussion, and were able to guide me into THE dress. It wasn't what I had in my head or on a single Pinterest board, but their experience helped them understand better than I did what I was really looking for. They suggested the gown three different times, and but it didn't click with me on the hanger. Once I remembered to trust the experts, I tried on the dress and didn't want to take it off. I couldn't believe it, and am so grateful that they persisted. Can't say enough good things! -

I enjoyed my appointment at Wildflower Bridal, and I did purchase my dress there. I loved that they took care in looking over the pre-appointment questionnaire to understand the vibe I was going for, and Kylie really helped me hone in on what I was looking for in a dress. They have a great variety of styles at great prices, and the one I ended up loving was not one I would have initially expected for myself! Stress-free, size-inclusive, and welcoming experience!
I just purchased my #wildflowerbride wedding dress this past week! My experience was so wonderful and Margaux was a dream to work with. I was a little nervous when I read that they require a $25 deposit and gave a time limit but DO NOT let that defer you because it was so worth it and Margaux was so patient and did not rush us along at all. She listened to the style and vibe I described and you could tell that she really put thought into the dresses that she pulled for me which meant so so so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! -

Pure Bohemian Magic
Words cannot describe how magical my appointment was from beginning to end. I had gone to a dress shopping appointment the day before Wildflower and left in low spirits. As soon as I walked in the door Margaux and her staff welcomed my mother and I with warm (masked) smiles and generosity. She had already looked at my Pinterest and knew the style I was looking for, had dresses waiting for me in the dressing room, and her knowledgeable experience was immeasurable. It was like she was a mind reader and showed me a dress I would have never sought out on my own. I got chills before I even put It on. I had an awesome experience with Wildflower Bridal! It was my second dress shopping experience, and I was lucky enough to find “the one”! Before my appointment Margaux emailed me a questionnaire that asked questions about my wedding style / what I like to do in my everyday life/ and even what music I’m listening to. I love that they try and get to know their brides even before they step foot in the building. When I arrived, Margaux had already selected a handful of dresses she thought I’d like based on my answers. She really had my style down perfectly. She was so helpful in the decision making process, and had great methods to help me narrow it down to the top 2 or 3 dresses. When I finally had my top picks, she grabbed some accessories to match to get the whole “look.” She happily helped my friends find the right lighting to take pictures and was willing to FaceTime with my mom and sister who weren’t able to be there in person, so they could also get involved. I ended up with a dress that was so different than what I had in mind, but it is AMAZING and I can’t wait to wear it on my big day! I was only able to bring 2 friends along, and wasn’t offered drinks, but I think that is most likely a COVID thing. I will definitely recommend Wildflower to anyone looking in the Asheville area! -

The bridal shop owner, Margaux, and her whole team at Wildflower Bridal are phenomenal! They’re super helpful and are incredibly knowledgeable about their gowns and options. The gown I ordered, I’m having a modification to it and they were able to find another dress in the store that had the modification that I’m having done to my dress and was able to temporarily combine the two so I would be able to get an idea for how my gown will look! 10/10 recommend this shop to anyone looking for a bridal gown and positive experience! Also, during my first visit, Margaux pulled SO many sample options for me (mind you, I’m a plus size bride, size 18 in regular dresses) and had them lined up in the dressing room before I even got there! She took her time with the process and I never felt like she was rushing me during my appointment. -

My experience with Wildflower Bridal has been perfect. Margaux is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, generous with her time, and very responsive. She helped me explore many options when deciding what gown to order, most of which she suggested and required extra work on her end. She proactively communicated with the designer to get more information than I ever expected to receive and gave me full confidence in the gown and size that I ended up ordering. She even helped me find seamstresses in the NYC area where I live.
I was worried about wedding dress shopping during a pandemic, but I'm so incredibly glad to have found Margaux and Wildflower Bridal. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with her and get to know her. Very, very highly recommend! -

After searching through endless dresses I stumbled upon a beautiful and new-this-season Essence of Australia dress that directed me to Wildflower Bridal when checking for local vendors. When I reached out to Margaux for an appointment and asked about the specific dress she was very quick in her responses, but also let me know that while they didn't currently have the dress, they could get it in for me for my appointment, and also set me up during a trunk show for another designer with similar style. They caught on incredibly fast to my style so when I got there with my mom the dressing room was already set up by Kylie and the EoA dress was the first one I tried on and while I knew it was 'the one', we tried on some more to round out and make sure. Kylie and Margaux made sure we all stayed on track and with what I wanted and was envisioning and quickly jumped into what we could to do alter the dress for me. Even after buying the dress they reached out and were quick and thorough in their response when I asked for more specifics of the alterations. If you want to have a comfortable, complete, and confident wedding dress shopping experience, you should absolutely come to Wildflower Bridal! -

Wildflower Bridal is a wonderful shop with knowledgeable, positive and caring staff. I filled out a questionnaire beforehand and Kelsey had dresses ready for me to try on when I arrived. She was very friendly and wanted to know the details of how my fiance and I met, what our special day will look like, etc. She was so helpful and brought in dresses/took dresses out based on what I liked while trying them on. She even took pictures with my phone so I could compare looks. We found the perfect dress rather quickly! Kylie (another staff member) and Margaux (the owner) offered feedback while I was trying dresses on. Marguax was very knowledgeable, professional and warm. She even offered a few referrals for other services needed for a wedding. I love my dress and the ladies at Wildflower made the whole dress finding process special, fun and a breeze!
