We are beyond thrilled with our experience working with Wild Lights Film and cannot recommend them enough! Our videographer, Kevin, was an absolute blast to have at our wedding. Not only did he work tirelessly to capture every special moment of the day, but he also made sure to engage with our guests, helping them feel at ease and comfortable. This created such organic, authentic reactions that truly made the footage come alive.
In the planning stages, we worked with Steven, who was amazing to collaborate with. He was full of insightful ideas and helped us envision exactly what we wanted for our wedding video. Together, they made the entire process smooth, and their professionalism shone through every step of the way.
Hands down, the best investment we made for our wedding day. If you’re considering a videographer, do yourself a favor and hire Wild Lights Film – you won’t regret it! -

If you’re reading this review, you’re likely considering Steven and Wild Light Films as part of your big day. DO IT!! We were originally drawn to his unique style of work, music-video like approach, and storytelling ability in capturing the essence of people’s wedding days.
Working with Steven was incredible and we can’t say enough about how much we loved his work. We booked him back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, but of course with COVID we had to push it back a year. He was super flexible and accommodating, and we still figured out a plan to have video footage of an intimate ceremony in 2020, as well as the original plan for 2021. He did such an amazing job incorporating the two ceremonies together into one seamless video, which he turned around even quicker than we expected! Steven is a delight to work with—truly a genuinely kind person. His video editing craftsmanship and storytelling are compelling—rewatching our video + highlights felt like taking us right back to the memories and joy of our day. Do yourself and your future self a favor and get Steven to make your wedding video that you’ll cherish for years to come. -

After a year of doing nothing with the raw files we received from our actual wedding videographer, we approached Steven to see if he would be able to edit together a highlight from our raw videos. In just a matter of weeks he was able to produce the most amazing wedding film for us! In a market full of wedding film makers, Wild Light Films truly stands out as the most unique and authentic videos I've ever seen. We gave him some notes on what we were looking for but really just trusted his vision as he was able to work his magic to produce a film we'll watch forever. Steven was a pleasure to work with, extremely responsive and was open to any feedback we had on our video.
Even though we were unable to work with Wild Light Films on our wedding day, if you are considering them for your wedding film - stop thinking about it and just do it, it will be the best decision you will make. -

Truly hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding was hiring Wild Light Films. I always knew video was something I wanted for our wedding, but with Covid making such an impact on our plans and so many of our friends and family no longer able to attend, it became that much more important. As a wedding planner, I've seen a lot of wedding videos, but nothing quite like the work that Steven creates. I knew I wanted something different from the majority of what I had seen before. I didn't want something sappy and slow. I wanted it to feel more like you were watching a movie trailer than a wedding video and he delivered! At the beginning, I was a tiny bit nervous about hiring a vendor I had never worked with and was even in a different state, but from our first conversation, I knew that he was amazing and that our wedding was in good hands! Somehow he was able to do all of this magic on his own. You would have assumed 3 videographers were there! He got every important shot, every beautiful moment all the while never being imposing. Half the time I didn't even notice him around! I constantly watch our wedding videos over and over. He got us all of our videos within weeks of the wedding. I cried happy tears every time I got an email from him because that meant I was about to watch something special. -

I can’t say enough amazing things about Steven & Wild Light Films. When planning my wedding, video was always the most important thing to me, and what I was most excited for. The videos Steven created for us are better than we could have ever even imaged. I watched hundreds of wedding films and went through videographers on instagram, facebook, youtube, and vimeo every day looking for the perfect person. There are so many amazing videographers out there, but when I came across Wild Light Films, I was blown away! He creates so much more than just “wedding videos.” They are truly cinematic masterpieces that perfectly capture all of the love, fun, and joy of your wedding day.
Working with Steven was also a dream. He was extremely quick to respond, so accommodating, and every other vendor raved about how awesome he was to work with. From the moment we met him we felt so comfortable and like friends, which made being in front of the camera feel so natural and fun. He blended into the whole wedding day so flawlessly and worked seamlessly with our photographer.
The amount of product you get from Wild Light Films is also so much more than anything I found while looking at other vendors. We received six different videos total from Wild Light Films, which is more than I ever knew I wanted or needed, but they are all so amazing and now I can’t imagine not having them as a keepsake. The way he truly tells a story through his cinematic filming, music choices, and outstanding editing is priceless.
If you’re still deciding on whether or not to hire a videographer, do it. It’s so worth it. There are so many moments from your wedding day that fly by that you want to relive, and moments you didn’t even know happened that are so fun to watch back. And if you’re looking to find the perfect person, I cannot recommend Wild Light Films enough. Honestly, book them right now! -

Incredible Videographer
We had a fantastic video re-edit experience with Steven, who rescued our wedding video. We hired a different videographer to shoot our wedding, but then she failed to deliver us an edited video as promised (and paid for!). After a year of waiting, we got our money back and thankfully were sent by a trusted friend to Steven for help. He couldn't have been more understanding of our situation. He took our raw footage and delivered an amazing video in a very quick turnaround that is everything we ever wanted. His incredible talent is only exceeded by his friendly communication and his passion for great work. If you want an amazing video to remember your big day, don't think twice, hire him immediately. Great service, great work, great prices. -

Wild Light are one of the best decisions we made for our day. We fell in love with their style from the first video of theirs that we saw, and it is kind of surreal to see ourselves on the screen in their work. Nothing compares to having these memories on film, and seeing and feeling the love, the laughs, and the joy of our day throughout our videos.
Their personalities rock, and we loved having them around on our wedding day, and working with them! They will guide you through the song selection process (a very important part of their videos and one of the reason we chose them), and the final product is just so incredibly cool. We have gotten so many compliments about how unique our video is and how much it matched our style - and we 100% agree. Worth every penny.

Hiring Wild Light Films was a dream come true. The artistic way they capture and document that day is more than perfect. Steven and Leo were an absolute dream team. Leo made us feel so comfortable and captured this insane footage. I even had guests tell me how much fun he was at the wedding! Together, they created this indescribable video that captures exactly how our wedding felt and more. Not only did we get to re-experience all those small amazing moments from that day but also watching all our family and friends at our wedding having an amazing time brought us to tears. Hiring Steven and Leo was the best decision ever. I look at our Wild Light Film all I can think is "Damn, we are so freaking cool." Thank you guys so much -

I was very picky about what I wanted for a wedding videographer- I wanted something unique, not cheesy, that we could watch for years to come. I found Wild Light Video on Instagram and quickly became obsessed with their style. Steven is simply put, a wonderful human, and his team is extremely professional. The moment I knew they were professionals with an eye for detail was when they came in to capture footage of us getting ready and reminded every girl to take the hair tie off our wrists. They are excited to work with you, fun to be around, and extremely creative in what they do. My husband was very skeptical about getting a videographer and has expressed numerous times since that he was so wrong about that- he has a cycle of the videos and watches one per day (not even exaggerating). We opted for the standard length and added on the extended film and received a short super 8 film as well. The true super 8 is such a fun and unique touch. I am glad we got the long form as well that has speeches/ vows worked into the video and really captures the emotion of the day. If you are looking for a wedding video that captures your character/day/relationship, that is endlessly rewatchable, that is creative and distinctive, and is captured by a team of professionals who bring a positive energy to your day, then look no further, you found your videographer. -

We hired WildLight Films because of their creative, unique, and extremely detailed approach to their wedding films. I have to say, their finished product for us was beyond what we could have imagined. It was utterly clear that literally every single piece of the video was well though out, tailored to the music that was playing, and in the perfect sequence to help us remember our perfect day. I truly am so thankful and happy that we have something so special that we will view for the rest of our entire lives. I highly recommend this company. For our wedding in San Diego we hired the videographer of my dreams, Steven Kopacz of Wild Light Films in Los Angeles, CA. Steven did such an incredible job on our videos (including our Super 8 Film) that they blow me away every time I watch them.
Which, I have to admit, is more than is probably healthy.
Steven totally exceeded any expectations I had for working with a videographer or for our wedding videos. Also, calling him a videographer doesn't quite seem to do him justice. From the sound to the cuts, these videos really do feel like a work of art created around our wedding. He is the nicest guy and so talented it's unreal. We're endlessly grateful to him for capturing our day, us, our friends and family just so beautifully.
I can't sing Steven's praises enough... if you're lucky enough to have him be free on your wedding date, book him! Or... change your date. -

WOWOWOWOWOW I am so speechless!!! I seriously think Wild Light Films is hands down the most talented videographers on the planet and I still don't know how I got so lucky so have your gift capture our big day. I truly mean this no words will ever cover how thankful we are, these videos are a level of incredible I didn't know existed and we will cherish these the rest of our life. From the minute we met you made us feel so comfortable, like we'd known each other for years and this absolutely showed in the videos!! You encouraged us to be ourselves while giving us great suggestions that completely showed our personalities and the vibe of the wedding in our videos. I don't know how you did it but EVERY SINGLE MOMENT was caught on camera and perfectly woven into a story in our videos!! Not only did we end up with one incredible wedding video that beautifully tells the story of our wedding weekend but FOUR videos all filled with your unique footage mixed in with super 8 film, once again I am really just speechless of how perfectly you captured everything!!! Steven + Wild Light Films is INCREDIBLE. We're based in SW Florida and discovered Steven through our photographer. Although he was located across the country in Cali, I fell in love with his artistic style of filmmaking and knew this would be an investment with an infinite return. The film Steven created of our wedding day is the closest thing we'll ever have to re-living the absolute BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. That is a priceless gift.
Steven captured our love and emotion and brought it to life. He blends into the background and effortlessly captures every personality, unique moment and detail, creating the most professional, beautiful film you will ever have of you and your spouse.
I gave him no direction and just trusted his process. The result was a 5-minute film that we will treasure until the end of time. We've watched it a thousand times and love it every time. It's something we can show our children one day so they can see we were actually cool once.
It took under 3 months to get our completed film back and I liked that Steven collaborated with us on music options. He also sent us the sweetest care package with unique gifts and a flash drive of our film.
When your wedding day fades to a distant memory, this is the ONLY way you can re-live that colorful, living, breathing, insanely passionate love that you will feel in those moments.
Thank you times a million, Steven! I highly recommend booking Steven ASAP. Thankfully, I did a year in advance.
P.S. Most of my married friends say their greatest regret from their wedding is not investing in a videographer. I'm SO HAPPY I did. Best advice you can get... hire Wild Light Films. -

If you're looking for a fresh, artistic, and cinematically gorgeous take on your wedding video instead of the cookie-cutter, formulaic (and boring!) wedding videos you see everywhere else, then book Steven.
It's just amazing what Steven is able to do--he somehow takes your footage and turns it into a narrative that flows effortlessly while making his edits so tightly intuned with the music that you'll think the song was made for your video.
But being a world class wedding videographer is just a small part of what makes Steven so awesome--he also brings a relaxed and chill vibe that makes it light and fun for everyone else. You, your guests, and your vendors will all love Steven.
Get the wedding video you don't deserve, book Steven! -

Wild Light Films videos are unique, beautiful and wonderful in their own different way. Steven is a true artist and created a masterpiece on our wedding day. I have no idea how he was able to capture our day in such a cinematic, beautiful, storytelling way!! Everything was spot on and EXACTLY how we viewed our day with our family and friends. We lost count on how many people said the videographer we chose is "incredible" and "unbelievably talented." If you are looking for a videographer who is professional, a true artist, caring and beyond talented and will blow you away then look no further. You MUST choose Wild Light Films. Not only will he deliver, but you will be amazed by how many times you watch your wedding video - We are so in love with ours! Thank you, Steven!!!!! You are incredible!!!!!!

If your wedding day is tomorrow, you still have time to save yourselves and find another videographer!
Wild Light Films is the worst videography service we could have chosen for our wedding. We were misled by their flashy short clips on their website. I am leaving this review to warn couples: do not ruin your wedding videography by hiring this fraudulent team!
Our nightmare began when Steven, who initially confirmed our date, canceled on us just one month before the wedding. Since we were in a bind, we settled for Charles Guinto, one of Steven’s videographers. Unfortunately, Charles videotaped our wedding using a simple photography camera, and he repeatedly paused recording during critical moments. After waiting far too long for the final product, the one-hour movie we received was nothing short of a disaster.
Can you imagine a wedding videographer not capturing the bride and groom’s first dance? That’s what happened to us. Our two-minute dance wasn’t even recorded in full. Several other important moments, including beautifully choreographed family dances, were cut short. The Groom’s speech was not captured fully and the image was completely of such poor quality and pixelated! The most devastating part for me was that Charles completely missed my father’s and uncle’s toasts -an incredibly special moment I’ll never get back.
Our wedding was stunning, coordinated down to the minute, and we gave clear instructions to the videographer on what to capture. Still, Charles Guinto failed miserably. We even paid a premium price ($9,500 for a supposed 12-hour coverage package when the standard is $7,500) to ensure nothing was missed. Instead, it felt like he recorded no more than 7 minutes per hour, and we were left with subpar footage. The quality was awful, and many of the videos lacked proper lighting. He was supposed to set up one camera to capture most of the event while using a second for additional footage. Unfortunately, he didn’t even set up the main camera most of the time, and in the end, we barely had enough raw footage to work with. For the entire ceremony, the camera was set behind guests, showing the back of the photographer and videographer, with us completely blocked from view. Even an amateur wouldn’t make such a basic mistake!
When we expressed our concerns to Steven Kopacz, he asked us to collect videos from our guests to fill in the gaps -something a professional videographer should never have to do! After a long and stressful process of gathering clips from family and friends, the final video was still an embarrassing mess. Choppy editing, poor transitions, and moments of our day awkwardly patched together with low-quality cell phone footage made the final product heartbreaking to watch. I still get emotional when I think about how they ruined the once-in-a-lifetime memories of our beautiful wedding day.
Our nightmare continued when we asked for compensation. First, Charles Guinto claimed he captured everything, then Steven blamed a memory card failure, only to later point out that their contract didn’t guarantee full coverage! We felt we were lied to the entire time. Do not trust their contract! It’s filled with vague terms that leave room for excuses and loopholes, allowing them to deliver subpar results without accountability.
To add insult to injury, when we requested the raw footage to have another videographer attempt to salvage what was left, we were shocked to discover that out of the 12 hours we paid for, there was barely 90 minutes of usable footage, most of it in short, 1-2 minute clips! We consulted other videographers who were appalled by the poor quality and lack of material. Fixing it would cost us the same amount we had already paid Steven Kopacz!
When we approached Steven about either editing the footage to a professional standard or providing a reasonable refund, he offered only a $500 refund -a slap in the face given the irreparable loss of our wedding moments. We decided to pursue legal action, and as soon as we mentioned taking the issue to court, both Steven Kopacz and Charles Guinto disappeared, ceasing all communication.
They never responded to our texts, emails, or even letters from our attorney. We are now in the process of taking this issue to court because we firmly believe we deserve compensation for both the financial loss and the irretrievable memories of our big day.
From the very beginning, working with Wild Light Films was a headache. Their communication was poor, they were unreliable, and they made the entire process frustrating and stressful. When we raised concerns about the quality of their work, they completely abandoned us. They refused to fix the issues, stopped all communication, and left us with an unfinished video that we can’t even watch.
If you want to protect your wedding day memories, avoid Wild Light Films at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and will leave you heartbroken over what should have been the most beautiful moments of your life.
