Wild Horse Catering provided amazing BBQ for our rehearsal dinner, as well as some delicious breakfast burritos for the morning of our wedding. Everything came with clear instructions and was delicious. The portobello mushrooms especially were a great entree for vegetarians, which is often so difficult to find in a BBQ place. Other big hits included the bison sausage and lemon bars, but everything was delicious. -

We could not have been happier with our choice to use Wild Horse for our catering. Working with Chris and Kelley was a breeze, and they were happy to work around my dietary restrictions without making it feel like a burden. People raved about the food (we did BBQ)- it was beyond delicious. It was great having a trusted, reliable, and high quality caterer to make our wedding so special. -

Best Catering Company in Colorado
We selected Wild Horse Catering from 10 Caterers that were interviewed.
BEST CHOICE EVER!
The owner Chris French is the best person to ever own a catering company.
Her Staff Gabby and Kelley made my daughters wedding a feast to remember.
The food was so so so so delicious.
People still tell me how wonderful the catering was for the events.
They catered the welcome party, wedding reception and also a farewell brunch.
So Friday, Saturday and Sunday they were PERFECT!
The staff that served were perfectionists!
Just stop looking for other caterers, choose Wild Horse!
We sent for a tasting in Colorado 7 months before the wedding and it was so much fun!
They make the whole experience fantastic and affordable!
Thank you Wild Horse Catering! Highly Recommend!

Amanda Sent on 03/18/2018We used Wild Horse's in-house bakery, Sift Cakes, for our wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Misty was fantastic to work with and super flexible since we had a tiny (4 guests) wedding but still wanted a cake. We discussed a ton of options at our tasting and ended up with a little 6" cake and 6 cupcakes as take-home favors. Our guests loved the cake and cupcakes and we're still hearing how delicious everything was almost two months later!

Tracie Sent on 11/01/2017The venue was amazing, with the most beautiful views of Grandlake, and the food was delicious. I am in the food business and was concerned about the food. I've been to several weddings this year and was not impressed with the quality and prices that was paid for their catering and Wild Horses knocked it out of the park for me ! I highly recommend them and working with the team was easy and relaxing in such a stressful time of trying to make everything perfect. Thank you so much Shelby and Christine. You made my day Wonderful !

Lauren Sent on 07/15/2015Oh my! I can't say enough positive things about working with Nigel Connor and his staff at Wild Horse Catering. The food was simply amazing, there was a brief delay in delivering dinner because of a transportation issue, but the hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and the staff did a great job making sure everyone had something to eat while we waited. The bar staff was unbelievable as there were 2 bartenders and 100 of us doing an awful lot of drinking throughout the evening. The meal was hot, moist, delicious and everyone enjoyed the food. There were munchies set out late in the night for those that needed a snack before leaving. Bottom line, they delivered exactly what they said they would and the event was made wonderful as a result. -

Catherine Sent on 02/15/2017We used Wild Horse to cater our outdoor September wedding in Granby. I had been concerned we'd have limited options in Grand County for catering, but was committed to staying local. Whether Wild Horse was nearby or not, they far exceeded our expectations for the food; it was truly superb and our guests DEVOURED it. All of it. In fact, be sure to deliberately request, in advance, that your caterer box up food for you and your partner to enjoy later that night in your hotel, as we forgot to do this and our guests were big eaters. The service was also outstanding. Nigel was The Man. We did not have an official wedding planner and truly didn't need one with a caterer like this. They took care of setting up all tables/chairs for ceremony, reception, bar, guestbook, you name it, and they easily assisted us with timing, even when I showed up to the venue for first look 45 min late. While day-of food and service were top notch, there were a few communication hiccups in the planning process. After we initially booked Wild Horse for our wedding, we were given an outdated menu and then fell off their radar. My partner and I had to be proactive in reaching out to discuss details, schedule a tasting, etc. That being said, the day-of is what mattered most and I would use Wild Horse again in a heartbeat. -

My mom had booked wild horse catering after I coordinated what I wanted with Chris. After I handed it over to my mom there seemed to be disconnect and lack of response from Chris leading up to the wedding day. On the day of the wedding we were supposed to have our food at 10:30am, which we didn’t get til 11 because of the outside delivery service which seemed to just be hired to drop off and didn’t stay (which we payed for someone to stay, set up, and clean up). My coordinator had to call and figure out what was going on. They didn’t even take the food up to the Airbnb, but my brothers did it and mom and sister had to set everything up. Super disappointed with what we were told what would happen vs what actually happened. The food was delicious and a wide spread was perfect for everyone. Wish their service was better for what they charge, but winter park is lacking catering options.
