I was a little skeptical about the photographer experience, but all I can say is that it was fantastic working with Amy. Particular highlights: (i) she made the experience effortless and painless, her cues made us feel like we were just having a bit of a laugh, not acting like wax statues, (ii) she came prepared with ideas and suggestions - she'd scoped out the park in advance and identified good areas given lighting etc (iii) she somehow was able to send us a 'sneak peek' of some photos on the night, which was such a pleasant surprise and our families were over the moon given it was a COVID wedding and they weren't able to join in person, (iv) we, and everyone who has seen them, have been blown away by the quality of the photos and Amy's ability to capture us in a way that looks natural and accurate, not stilted and fake. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough -

Amy made our wedding photo dreams come true. She has an amazing eye for unique shots, and she is incredibly personable and fun to be around. She has a hat full of tricks and prompts to make couples feel comfortable and smile naturally for photos. We got a preview of our photos within 24 hours, and the full package of photos were delivered on time. She was easy to communicate with and reliable leading up to the wedding. I live on the west coast and was having a hard time finding other vendors in the Providence area. Amy referred me to a few of her friends, who ended up doing our flowers and hair/makeup, and both were also incredible. If you're debating hiring Amy for your wedding - DO IT. You won't regret it! -

The perfect photographer does not exis-.... AMY! She was the best. We had to plan our wedding in 7 weeks and Amy was so flexible, professional and made us feel at ease. My partner and I celebrated our wedding on 10/8… and got our sneak peak photos from Amy bright and early the morning after. We were (and still are) so happy and excited to see the full gallery in the next few weeks.
Amy captured some beautiful images of us… and was able to cement our memories of that day in her photography. Her editing style is flawless and keeps a simple and classic touch.
My partner and I are not always comfortable in front of the camera but Amy always made us feel supported. Also, we both were pulled in 1000 different different directions that day and Amy went with our flow without skipping a beat, all while being able to keep us on track.
We appreciate Amy for everything she did, and importantly, for her artwork. We have beautiful keepsakes to be able to reflect on our big day and for that we cannot be more thankful.
We both would recommend Amy from Wild Awake to anyone looking for wedding photography. -

Hire Amy right now!
Wow, I can't say enough how happy we are with our decision to hire Amy. Our photos are *stunning* and a dream come true. She captured the day perfectly, from little details to wild dancing. She was professional and kind throughout the whole day, and my mom wouldn't stop talking about how much she loved her "vibe". She helped everyone feel relaxed and melted into the background when photographing.
We were a couple that had to move our date out (by a year and a half!) because of COVID and it was so easy to work with Amy to do that. She made it effortless and even honored our original quote. I had friends who had photographers/vendors that were rude when asked to move the date because of the pandemic, so I feel lucky Amy was so kind and understanding in the midst of all that stress.

Her photography is both technically astounding, perfectly edited and visually stunning, and she somehow manages to perfectly capture the tenderest moments. Amy's intuition for emotion, her own depth of feeling, and her kindness made our wedding day. She's also completely comfy with awkward situations, scheduling silliness, and being a human in a human situation - she helped carry things into the bridal suite and later bustled my dress for me. Hire her, and take one great big decision out of the mix of wedding-planning stress. She's the friend and the professional you need. -

Our experience with Amy was amazing! She was so friendly and easy to get along with, made the photoshoot super easy and comfortable (twas my first and i was super nervous of looking awkward). She was very responsive and even helped us make sure our timeline worked out to get a well rounded set of pictures, from couple shots, to family shots, to candids during the reception. The pictures came back fast and every shot was absolutely breathtaking. -

My husband and I got married on 4/22/22 and the beginning of our day was hectic when we found out Amy unfortunately couldn’t make it. BUT she asked her associate Rebecca to drop her plans for the day and come to our rescue! We’re so grateful for them being flexible and making it work for us because as every bride knows, the stress is real!
Amy was wonderful to work with the entire time. She’s super responsive and answered literally any questions we had. She also got our photos back to us super fast which was amazing! We made a date night out of our viewing and we’re so obsessed with every picture. I don’t know how we can decide which ones to print lol. I would definitely book again for future photoshoot needs, not just for weddings!

Amy is an amazing photographer and a very kind and compassionate person. Amy photographed our wedding, and because our experience with her was so wonderful, she also did our first photoshoot as a family when my son was 3 months old. Photos from both shoots came out even better than we could have imagined... and people are always telling us about how our wedding photos are spectacular, like the best they've ever seen! Amy made us feel comfortable and we had fun during our shoots... she helped us pose while still looking natural, and made us laugh! -

Best Destination Wedding Photographer EVER!!!
We LOVE working with Amy!!! We refer her to all our friends and family looking for a photographer that doesn't give you a plain vanilla experience. She photographed our destination wedding in Italy 3 years ago and we still look back on the photos all the time. Amy did such a beautiful job capturing the day. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed (my husband and I are a little camera shy). The whole process felt natural and fun which was so important to us. I enjoyed working with Amy so much that I also worked with her for a boudoir photoshoot where I worried I would be even more shy. Again, Amy made me feel so comfortable in my own skin that I wasn't nervous at all, and again the photos were gorgeous. We truly cannot overstate how creative, fun, and engaging Amy is :) -

Exactly what we wanted when we eloped
My husband and I eloped, so two things were very important to us: having lots of amazing photos, and having a photographer that we could be completely totally fabulously comfortable with - because the photographer would be basically the third wheel and only other person around for our entire wedding day. Amy is now one of the 2 witnesses on our marriage certificate, and the other was a total stranger. That's why we flew Amy across the country to be our photographer. She is so easy to be around, she loves love, and of course her photography is phenomenal! We certainly have no regrets. -

Amy was fantastic! We had a small, casual wedding at a house we rented in Maine. Even though we kept it small & casual, we still wanted gorgeous wedding pictures and Amy did not fail to deliver! Amy is amazing at what she does, she makes you feel comfortable and not awkward at all. She had us laughing and really has an eye for the perfect photos! I’m a Covid bride, I did a small intimate wedding in my backyard and next year we are doing a big reception. Everyone was amazed how great the pictures came out (considering how hot and sweaty we were in July) and can’t wait for next years big day!! She responded quickly to all the questions I would ask her via email too, which was great! -

Book Amy as soon as you set your date!!!
Amy ("Wild Awake") was the best decision we made vendor-wise. We have GORGEOUS memories of our wedding day captured forever. Unlike most wedding photos we've seen that are posed with unnatural smiles, Amy finds moments to immortalize that truly capture the emotions of the day. We took lots with our family, but the best were of just us two when she prompted us to do / say things that made us laugh, embrace tighter, feel our love more... and it shows in the photos. On top of this she's extremely sweet, very helpful (she transported our bouquets from our house to the venue!) and flexible, following the lead of the subjects in her frame or guiding them gently. We truly can't recommend her highly enough! -

From the moment we met Amy and told her our out-of-the-box laid back wedding plan, she was entirely on board and enthusiastic. She agreed to make the trek to Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard on a Wednesday to capture our intimate day, planning to be there for half a day and then head back to her life. She offered creative ideas (like having our first dance in the empty tabernacle and ending our photos in the bathtub after we took a dip in the icy ocean in full wedding attire!) and followed right along as we wandered around in our own little world of bliss. Amy was able to capture every emotion. Before we knew it, Subtropical Storm Melissa hit full force, cancelling all boats and stranding 14 of us on the island for 4 days. During the chaos of cancelled plans, going back and forth to the ferry, making arrangements for pets at home, and utter insanity in general, a smile never left her face. She made the best of the situation and was an absolute delight to have around. She not only made our wedding day incredibly special, but she also became a part of the family. We are so grateful for the incredible experience and for having made a wonderful friend in the process. -

The best decision we made for our wedding
Amy is not only an incredible artist who creates stunning photos, she is also an absolute pleasure to be around. We hardly noticed her on our wedding day (a slight disappointment given how lovely she is!), and she captured all of our important moments and our guests so wonderfully. We will cherish the photos forever, as they really do reflect the feelings of our wedding day. If you are someone who thinks you don't like candid shots (e.g., me), don't be afraid to let Amy work her magic! We could not have asked for better pictures. -

You NEED Amy for your wedding!
I got married June 1 of this year. I heard about Amy through a friend of mine who used her for her wedding last year. The photos from my friend's wedding came out amazing. I was lucky enough that Amy had our date available. From our initial contact Amy was responsive and professional, yet still fun and so personable! She has a natural way of making you feel comfortable (because it can feel weird posing for photos). She was extremely flexible and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. I finalized my timeline a week or so before the wedding and realized that I needed an additional hour of coverage. I reached out and Amy said she would be there. I can’t thank her enough or put into words how amazing our wedding photos came out. When my husband and I went through them, I probably cried 10 different times and laughed hysterically at a bunch of them. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose her as our photographer. She captured every moment and detail of our special day so beautifully. She has such a true talent and there's no doubt that she will be my go-to photographer in the future. Look no further, do yourself a favor, and book this amazing woman for your wedding!!! Seriously, you won't regret it.

Can't say enough good things
I seriously can't say enough good things about Amy. I am so glad we chose her as our photographer. She has this amazing knack for capturing those natural and beautiful moments throughout the day. My husband and I were looking for someone that would be able to give us photos that really captured the feelings and excitement of the day, and man did she deliver! Not only are the photos nice looking, but they capture a certain realness that I feel is lacking sometimes. The photos we have from our wedding are absolutely beautiful-- we couldn't have asked for a better photographer, skill-wise. Just as important (in my opinion) was that Amy was just so comfortable to be around (especially good since your photographer will be around you all day long!). She really put us all at ease and is an expert at making people feel natural while being photographed. I am so so so glad we chose Amy-- she really went above and beyond and gave us beautiful images that we will treasure forever. -

My husband and I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Amy! She came to Italy to photograph our destination wedding and we could not be happier with her work! Neither of us knew much about weddings or wedding photography, but from beginning to end, she made the entire process so easy and fun. She did an awesome job explaining the process and answering all of our questions.
Our wedding was very intimate and Amy perfectly captured the atmosphere and magic of the day. She was so warm and friendly with our friends and families and it shows in her photos. My husband and I are both a little camera shy but Amy did such a wonderful job making us feel relaxed, comfortable and natural that we barely noticed the camera. Amy made it so much fun and kept us smiling and laughing the entire time!
Our friends and families cannot stop gushing over how great Amy was and how much they love her photographs. We will definitely treasure these pictures forever. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an extremely talented and highly original photographer! -

Picture Perfect
We hired Amy to photograph our May 2018 wedding. Amy was prompt and responsive to our needs. Our photographs capture all of the great moments of our special day. The photographs are done in a manner to represent the importance of the day yet look timeless. I would highly recommend Amy for your special event. Absolutely Perfect!

So lucky to have found her!
We were so lucky to find Amy just as she was getting into weddings. We did an engagement shoot with her a year before the wedding and were very happy with how great those came out. She was great to work with from engagement shoot to wedding, she pushed through our awkwardness, and was a champ dealing with the big personalities in our family (I was very annoyed when someone asked her to take a photo with their iPhone, but she did it and with grace!). 100% recommend working with her if you have the opportunity, she makes it look effortless, she was everywhere at once but never in the way. I am in love with out photos and will treasure them for years to come -
