Jim added so much joy and many memories to our wedding day! He was responsive and ensured any questions we had were answered. Jim joined us for our rehearsal and clearly walked us through everything we needed to know to feel comfortable the day of. He did such an amazing job of curating the ceremony around every detail of my husband and I’s relationship. He was enthusiastic, funny, entertaining, and charismatic. With Jim leading the ceremony we truly felt in the moment and present. We could not have asked for a better ceremony. So many of our guests complimented Jim on what a wonderful job he did and asked how my husband and I found such a perfect officiant. We are so grateful to have found Jim! 🤍 -

Jim was absolutely AMAZING!!! I’ve had many guests come tell me he was the best officiant they have seen. It was truly a beautiful service. He worked well with our hectic schedules before the wedding as well. I would 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone I knew getting married. Very affordable!! For the service he provided I would have expected (and paid) for probably 3Xs the amount he charged. If you’re looking for an officiant- he’s your guy!!!

I don't even know where to start! Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the moment we first had a chat/consultation with him, we knew we were in amazing hands. Jim's personality is infectious and his professionalism is outstanding. Weddings and ceremony scripts were very new to my fiance and I and we had no idea where to start. Since we do not have strong ties to religion, we were not familiar with anyone who could officiate our wedding and we did not know any family or friends who would do it. Jim was our saving grace and not only made the process easy, but created such a beautiful ceremony script that we will remember forever.
Jim truly took the time to get to know us as a couple and you can tell how much he enjoys this line of work. His flexibility helped us prepare for our wedding in a timely manner and we knew we could put our trust into him. If you are having any issues finding someone to officiate your wedding or have no idea who could make your day more special than you could imagine--Jim is your guy! He is a true professional in his craft. -

You will not get a better officiant. He got to know our story and truly made our ceremony so special. He is funny at the right times and professional and so easy and fun to work with. Jim was an absolute amazing officiant.
We got so many raving reactions and reviews from our guests. They were all impressed by his humor, his showmanship, his knowledge of us as a couple, and hit sincerity. A lot of my guests were shocked that we had not known Jim for many years.
Above all else Jim helped calm my nerves about planning a whole wedding, assisted my husband with his vows and put so much love into the whole experience.
From the first message asking about his services to the hug goodbye at the reception Jim went above and beyond. We both really felt like we had a friend guiding us.

When looking for an officiant for our wedding, we knew that we wanted someone that felt like a friend instead of a vendor. We knew Jim was the perfect fit before we even finished reading through his first email. Jim worked to truly get to know each of us independently, how we are as a couple, and the future we envisioned for ourselves. When it came to the day of our wedding, amidst all of the nerves and excited energy, we could hear Jim cracking jokes and entertaining our guests as they waited for the show to begin. As the ceremony continued, Jim was intentional with his words and painted a vivid and beautiful picture of our relationship. Even months after our wedding, friends and family still talk about the humor, the compassion, and the charm that Jim weaved throughout his narrative. We absolutely could not recommend him enough! Thank you, Jim- we will forever cherish the memories of our incredibly perfect wedding day! -

From the outset, working with Jim was a total pleasure. Rapid communication (on his end - sorry Jim!) and patience when my communication was less than ideal.
Jim has an incredible way of both entertaining a crowd while not losing the gravitas of the situation. He was able to weave in personal stories and advice based on our relationship.
We're not very religious and Jim was totally willing to tailor his talk to us. I think that every guest complimented us on him.
He was super flexible with our audio situation and accommodating of our reader.
After the ceremony, Jim made the license signing a breeze and even took care of "making us official".

I think it only appropriate to start off with unsolicited comments that we received about Jim from attendees at our wedding, "I loved Jim", "Where did you find him? He was amazing!" and "You guys made an amazing choice with Jim. He was just so engaging". Even more importantly the comment that we, as Bride and Groom, have about Jim is that we could not have had a better person officiate our wedding. To start we gave a general idea of what we were looking for. Similarly to most couples getting married for the first time, we weren't really sure on the specifics. Jim took the input that we gave and created something far and beyond what we could have expected. We could not recommend Jim more. As couples looking through a million different officiant biographies, rest assured that you can stop after reading this one. -

Throughout the wedding planning process Jim was available and responsive to our requests! Jim is extremely professional but he knows how to tell a joke! We were able to meet with Jim over the phone and once in person before the wedding to discuss our ceremony. After meeting with Jim and through a survey he gave us Jim was able to get to know us well enough that he sounded like a long and close friend during the ceremony officiation! Jim handled our ceremony extremely well and we would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a charming, personal, and experienced officiant!

Jim gave us the most beautiful, personal, touching wedding ceremony I’ve ever witnessed, and many of our guests agreed! Jim deeply learned about our relationship and then used our own words to marry us, which was such a gift. We both opted out of sharing our own vows aloud and it was wonderful to still have our thoughts and sentiments shared in our ceremony. Jim is so warm and kind and is a natural entertainer - we highly recommend him! -

Even though we didn’t have a personal relationship with you, it still felt like we did. Everything you said during our wedding ceremony, felt like we’ve known you forever!! From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for a better officiant to help execute our perfect day. If you are looking for an officiant, look no further, Jim is definitely the right guy. He traveled a few hours away from his home just for us. He’s so funny and will incorporate anything you would like into your ceremony. One Word: Amazing!
Jim did an amazing job at our wedding on 6/27/21. After our first conversation, I knew I wanted him as an officiant. His communication was amazing, and he goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. Though there were some hiccups with our venue, Jim was able to be very flexible with changes. He even stayed to bless our dinner, and left us with kind words. Thank you Jim! -

Jim has been a family friend of mine my entire life. For as long as I can remember, I knew that I wanted him to officiate my wedding. This Summer that dream of mine came true and boy am I sure glad he was the one walking me through this next step.
His professionalism, flexibility and sense of humor made our ceremony truly special. He made our ceremony heartfelt, entertaining and when we forgot the main prop (hammer) to our wine box sealing ceremony, he was quick to notice and did skip a beat. Guests did not even realize the mishap!
It's an officiant like Jim that helps make an amazing couple shine just a little brighter on their big day!

Jim was professional, hilarious, and made our event so special with all of our changes due to Covid-19. We contacted him around 2 weeks out from our event, due to Covid related cancellations and he had an opening. He was able to provide us with great service even though he knew us for less than 2 weeks. His ability to relate to couples is fantastic. We wouldn't have chosen anyone else! He made our day perfect. Highly recommend! -

We loved Jim! He was very responsive to phone calls and emails. We met with him in Chicago to go over our wedding ceremony vision a few months before the big day. We wanted something light hearted and personal and Jim delivered. He was more than accommodating with all of our requests for the ceremony and even came down to Green Bay the night before our wedding to host our rehearsal dinner. He spent time personalizing the ceremony script just for us and many of our guests learned things about Ken and I they didn’t know before the wedding. I didn’t stop smiling throughout the entire ceremony and it’s a memory we will cherish forever. Thanks Jim!! -

Jim was incredible! We met for brunch at first to see if he was a good match and he blew my new wife and I away. Brit and I were looking for an officiant who was easy going and could provide a sense of humor and calm to the wedding. We didn't want a ceremony or rehearsal that felt rigid and traditional; we wanted our officiant to know us and make sure the audience felt that he knew us too. Leading up to the wedding day, we weren't nervous at all, because Jim gave us the assurance with his actions that he had us covered. He sent check-up emails, was very responsive to all of our requests, and showed up timely. Jim was excellent at breaking the ice at our dinner rehearsal and then at our wedding. July 27th was the most perfect day ever and Jim really set the tone from the start with his speech. He broke into stories about the two of us and explained to the audience what our wedding party and family meant to us. He brought this great comedic approach to the ceremony that relaxed our party and made Brit and I feel very comfortable on the most important day of our lives. Thanks Jim for everything! -

We had our wedding June 1st. Jim was a very friendly and outgoing guy. I like that he was very responsive to emails as well. He was prompt with video and phone calls too. We loved Jim as our officiant! He was there when we had questions or needed help. He was easy to get along with and actually traveled a good distance to have lunch with us as well as officiate our wedding! We loved Jim's "5L's" in the ceremony. Highly Recommend
Jim did an amazing job! We needed someone pretty last minute and he was ready to jump in, get to know us, and come up with a beautiful, nonreligious wedding ceremony which was exactly what we wanted. He was easily available to communicate with throughout the process. I loved that he was able to make our ceremony serious, but not so serious that it was boring! He definitely captured the humor which was important for us. We got a lot of compliments from wedding guests that they really liked Jim and the way he constructed our ceremony. We have already recommended his services to a friend of ours and would highly recommend him to anyone else! -

Through our conversations he was incredibly helpful and even compassionate, making sure to send us friend reminders and even check in on us to make sure that we were still happy and healthy throughout the planning process. He was the perfect blend of personal yet professional. Everyone (from the photographers to the mothers) loved his ceremony and were incredibly impressed by everything that Jim brought to the table. I could not recommend Jim highly enough!

Everyone loved Jimmy
When we first met Jim, he told us that his goal was always to have everyone at the wedding think he'd been friends with the couple for years. I wasn't sure how he'd pull that off--but he did exactly that. I can't tell you how many people from both my husband's side and mine asked "where did you guys meet Jimmy? He's great!" I wish I could explain the shocked looks when we replied, "We don't know him from anywhere, we hired him." He somehow made our guests feel as though they'd known him for years as well. Seriously, it makes no sense and I still don't understand it. He was appropriately comedic and kept the crowd entertained as they waited for our ceremony to start, which worked out great since there was a mishap with our pre-ceremony musical group. Thanks to Jim, no one knew any different. His presence was calming, yet very upbeat at the same time. Truly a renowned professional, it shows through and through. Most weddings people rave about the cake or the bride's dress, but if you hire Jim, be prepared for him to be the topic of conversation. No exaggeration, your guests will probably be more enamored with him than they are you. If you want an exciting, entertaining, breath of fresh air to officiate your wedding give Jim a call. Our experience with Jim has been nothing short of amazing. I knew from the 1st conversation my husband and I had with him, he would be the perfect officiant. Jim is very upbeat and down to Earth. We wanted to make sure we didn’t have a long, drawn out, boring wedding ceremony. We also wanted to ensure our ceremony was heart felt and touched on all the important factors. Jim was able to accommodate all of that. With COVID, I rescheduled our wedding at least 2 times and Jim was ready and willing everytime I did so. He was extremely patient and wonderful with words. He is truly the best officiant I have come across! Thank you for EVERYTHING! -
