  Jim was an absolute amazing officiant.
  We got so many raving reactions and reviews from our guests. They were all impressed by his humor, his showmanship, his knowledge of us as a couple, and hit sincerity. A lot of my guests were shocked that we had not known Jim for many years.
  Above all else Jim helped calm my nerves about planning a whole wedding, assisted my husband with his vows and put so much love into the whole experience.
  From the first message asking about his services to the hug goodbye at the reception Jim went above and beyond. We both really felt like we had a friend guiding us.

  Jim. is. awesome.

  Jim is honestly one of the best officiants I’ve ever seen. He seamlessly blends comedy and romance into the ceremony and puts on a great show for the guests. He is so flexible in doing several types of ceremonies and he works so hard on getting to know his clients. we were working with him from a distance and only got to meet him once before the wedding but he immediately felt like family. 10/10, A+, S-Tier, two enthusiastic thumbs up.

  Absolutely amazing!

  Jim McFarlin is such a pleasure! We all absolutely loved him and his professionalism and his way of making us all feel at ease! He truly did a tremendous job with everything. He was so prompt and his communication was so amazing! We recommend him 100% hands down!

  Personalized, Fun, Perfect

  From the outset, working with Jim was a total pleasure. Rapid communication (on his end - sorry Jim!) and patience when my communication was less than ideal.
  
  Jim has an incredible way of both entertaining a crowd while not losing the gravitas of the situation. He was able to weave in personal stories and advice based on our relationship.
  We're not very religious and Jim was totally willing to tailor his talk to us. I think that every guest complimented us on him.
  
  He was super flexible with our audio situation and accommodating of our reader.
  
  After the ceremony, Jim made the license signing a breeze and even took care of "making us official".
  
  Just book him!

  Jim McFarland delivered. I was looking for a officiant who would be both professional and laid back and that's exactly what we got. As a bonus Jim gave us a personal experience that felt natural. I also appreciate his prompt Communications. The feedback that I got from our guests was positive. A family member remarked that they liked the way that Jim spoke to them and didn't preach at them. The experience left us feeling like we knew Jim as an old friend. I would highly recommend this humorous talented professional.

  Everybody loved him

  We had an officiant cancel kind of last minute and Jim stepped in and went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. He was amazing and funny and our whole family loved him. Would definitely recommend!

  Fun & amazing!

  Jim took the time to get to know me and my now husband and catered to our needs and wants. He was kind, patient and helped to make our event fun with tons of laughs. The communication between Jim and myself was timely and he made sure to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had and worked with me with payment arrangements.

  Choose Jim!

  When looking for an officiant for our wedding, we knew that we wanted someone that felt like a friend instead of a vendor. We knew Jim was the perfect fit before we even finished reading through his first email. Jim worked to truly get to know each of us independently, how we are as a couple, and the future we envisioned for ourselves. When it came to the day of our wedding, amidst all of the nerves and excited energy, we could hear Jim cracking jokes and entertaining our guests as they waited for the show to begin. As the ceremony continued, Jim was intentional with his words and painted a vivid and beautiful picture of our relationship. Even months after our wedding, friends and family still talk about the humor, the compassion, and the charm that Jim weaved throughout his narrative. We absolutely could not recommend him enough!   Do yourself a favor and go with Jim!

  I think it only appropriate to start off with unsolicited comments that we received about Jim from attendees at our wedding, "I loved Jim", "Where did you find him? He was amazing!" and "You guys made an amazing choice with Jim. He was just so engaging". Even more importantly the comment that we, as Bride and Groom, have about Jim is that we could not have had a better person officiate our wedding. To start we gave a general idea of what we were looking for. Similarly to most couples getting married for the first time, we weren't really sure on the specifics. Jim took the input that we gave and created something far and beyond what we could have expected. We could not recommend Jim more. As couples looking through a million different officiant biographies, rest assured that you can stop after reading this one.

  Charming and experienced officiant!

  Throughout the wedding planning process Jim was available and responsive to our requests! Jim is extremely professional but he knows how to tell a joke! We were able to meet with Jim over the phone and once in person before the wedding to discuss our ceremony. After meeting with Jim and through a survey he gave us Jim was able to get to know us well enough that he sounded like a long and close friend during the ceremony officiation! Jim handled our ceremony extremely well and we would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a charming, personal, and experienced officiant!

  We contacted Jim 9 months before our original wedding date, but we ended up pushing it up two months. Jim was very flexible and accommodating throughout the "wholly" process.   From our first email interaction to the wedding day itself everything about our experience with Jim went better than we could have ever expected. He was responsive, charismatic, and an all around pleasure to work with. Jim made our ceremony personal and thoughtful while still keeping the atmosphere light to help us keep going when moments were emotional. Jim completely exceeded our expectations and we are truly honored that he was a part of our big day.

  First, we would like to say thank you so much to Jim for your amazing service officiating our wedding. You did absolutely everything we could’ve imagined. Even though we didn’t have a personal relationship with you, it still felt like we did. Everything you said during our wedding ceremony, felt like we’ve known you forever!! From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for a better officiant to help execute our perfect day. If you are looking for an officiant, look no further, Jim is definitely the right guy. He traveled a few hours away from his home just for us. He’s so funny and will incorporate anything you would like into your ceremony. So many of our guests later told us how awesome our officiant Jim was. Thank you again for your awesome work. If we had to, we would choose you over and over again.

  Officiant Jim was amazing! He made so many exceptions for me and my now husband. He drove 150 miles to come officiate our wedding, he did it over a holiday weekend, on a sunday, just for our elopment! He was so sweet and he made our ceremony so personal and fit our needs. Also he’s hilarious and makes us laugh! He is a Godly man who incorporated God into our wedding per request, and offered us some premarital advice beforehand. Even if you aren’t religious, I would recommend him! He was accommodate what you need! His pricing was great, he actually gave us a low number for his services, and told us to choose what we saw was fit. He deserved a lot more than he requested so we made sure to give him that amount!

  A heartfelt, personalized ceremony

  Jim gave us the most beautiful, personal, touching wedding ceremony I’ve ever witnessed, and many of our guests agreed! Jim deeply learned about our relationship and then used our own words to marry us, which was such a gift. We both opted out of sharing our own vows aloud and it was wonderful to still have our thoughts and sentiments shared in our ceremony. Jim is so warm and kind and is a natural entertainer - we highly recommend him!

  Jim was professional, hilarious, and made our event so special with all of our changes due to Covid-19. We contacted him around 2 weeks out from our event, due to Covid related cancellations and he had an opening. He was able to provide us with great service even though he knew us for less than 2 weeks. His ability to relate to couples is fantastic. We wouldn't have chosen anyone else! He made our day perfect. Highly recommend!

  The Perfect Officiant

  Jim was the perfect officiant, and I am not saying that lightly. He took the time to meet with us on several different occasions and got to know us. By the end of it, it felt as if Jim was an old friend. Jim is reliable, prompt, funny, and shows a love for what he does. He kept the audience engaged and laughing. Often wedding seems to drag on, but Jim made it pleasurable for all involved. He made the ceremony tailored to us and unique. I cannot recommend him enough!

  The best officiant!

  Jim was amazing at our wedding! He created a very personalized ceremony that felt unique to us. It was sweet and funny and exactly what we wanted and envisioned. His delivery was top-notch and had all of our guests entertained. We had a couple of snafus during the ceremony (some misplaced readings and items) and he absolutely smoothed things out and rolled with it. He had helpful insight at our rehearsal and was all-around friendly and professional. Jim had some knee issues right before our wedding and yet he stuck with us and delivered an amazing ceremony. So many of our guests remarked on how great he was. They came up to us that day and even mentioned later that he was so funny and a fantastic officiant. Some of our out-of-state guests even said they wish he was closer because they’d hire him in a minute! Jim was thorough in his communication with us at all times. We cannot recommend him enough.
