Jen from Whole You Beauty Studio was an absolute joy to work with for my 11.27.2021 wedding. She did the bridal hair for me and my maids of honor. Prior to the big day, Jen was very responsive and timely with her emails. Jen was also extremely prompt on the day of the wedding. She had a schedule and we stuck to it. My mom and maids of honor all commented on how easy and efficient she made the whole process. All of our hair looked fantastic too! Whatever someone wanted, she could do. I highly recommend Jen at Whole You Beauty Studio for you wedding day. She's awesome and you will definitely feel like the most beautiful bride with her help! :) -

Jennifer did an amazing job! I have very long, thick hair that is difficult to tame and have it feel secure, but she did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted, providing options, and checking in through the trial process, then again on our actual wedding day to make sure that my hair was exactly how I wanted it! It felt so secure so that I knew I could dance the night away without anything falling out, but did not feel stiff. Two of my bridesmaids have very short hair and were dubious that they would be able to get an updo, but were happy that Jennifer was able to make it happen and they all looked and felt beautiful! I never wear makeup but wanted to wear some on my wedding day and again, Jennifer did a wonderful job at my trial to figure out what I liked and felt comfortable wearing. Her colleague did my makeup on the day of the wedding and was able to seamlessly pick up what Jennifer had done in the trial. My mom was also very nervous about having her makeup done and Jennifer's colleague was able to give her a lovely natural look that made her feel beautiful, but still like herself! I’ve been seeing Jen for years, so when it was time to plan my wedding, I knew right away that I wanted her to be a part of it! The whole process was totally seamless. Even during COVID, she was extremely supportive, communicative, and patient. I had a pretty clear idea about what hairstyle I was looking for, but Jen put her own spin on it and executed a style that was above and beyond what I ever imagined! I have curly hair that can of course have a mind of its own, and it was important to me to feel like myself on my wedding day. Thanks to Jen, my hair ended up looking like the best possible version of itself, and I felt so beautiful and comfortable all day! I was a bundle of nerves when Jen showed up that morning, but she immediately put me at ease. Before she even started on my hair, she reached for the lavender oil I had brought and did a mini aromatherapy session and shoulder massage (which she specializes in at her studio!) to calm me down. She also worked on my mom, mother-in-law, maid of honor, and bridesmaid, and everyone was thrilled with their hair. She was so professional and efficient and even ran ahead of schedule! Jen is an expert at what she does and she’s kind, warm, and thoughtful. I’m so thankful to know her, and I’m endlessly grateful that she was there on my wedding day!Whole You Beauty Studio's reply:

Jen is absolutely amazing - from the moment I met her at my hair and makeup trial, we just immediately clicked. Jen is the most calming, sweet, and understanding presence and I am so grateful for that! On my actual day, she brought along Courtney to do makeup while she did hair and Courtney was also fabulous! Jen has been my stylist for over 10 years so when I got engaged, I was thrilled to ask her to take care of me on my wedding day. The whole process of booking was super easy and straightforward and Jen was very attentive answering any and all of my questions. The trial was so fun! I showed some of the ideas that I had of what I wanted my finished look to be and Jen put her own spin on it, checking every step of the way for any changes / adjustments that I wanted to make. Leading up to the big day Jen provided me with a schedule for everyone and was extremely patient when I had bride brain and couldn't formulate coherent thoughts. The day of was perfect. Jen, Shannon and Jaclyn came to Boston to our site and made me and all of my ladies super comfortable and feel absolutely glamorous! For me personally as the bride, Jen was fantastic in helping me feel calm as day-of stressors unfolded. I absolutely loved my final look as well as everyone else's and could not recommend Whole You Beauty highly enough. Thank you for being a part of my special day! -

I wish I could give Jen and her team more than five stars!! My hair was exactly how I envisioned it, and it held the whole night through without a stitch of discomfort. It was secure enough to stay in place through hours of dancing, but comfortable enough that I never felt any pulling or pinching (even with an intricate head piece). It looked amazing from every angle and I got SO many compliments. They also did my bridesmaids' hair; one has notoriously thick hair that is stick straight, and yet they were able to give her gorgeous glam soft waves like a classic 50's pin up girl. It was literal magic. Jen is amazing at asking questions along the way, listening to your feedback, and adjusting as she goes. This was particularly important when working with my mum who is very precise about her hair and makeup, but Jen and her team are pros at being patient and delivering. We also had a lot of trouble (on our end) with the scheduling and there was a lot of last minute back and forth and confusion (again, on our side - not theirs!) but Jen was SO understanding and accommodating. She was dedicated to working it out with us and finding a solution, and I couldn't be more grateful and appreciative. They are a top-notch team of professionals and it shows in their work, attitude, and everything in between.Whole You Beauty Studio's reply:

I am lucky enough to be a regular client of Shannon (Hair) and Jaclyn (aesthetics/skincare/makeup) at Whole You Beauty. These ladies are no only incredibly professional, but SO talented. (Jen, Shannon + Jaclyn!) The pictures speak for themselves, they had a way of bringing out my natural beauty in a way you didn't even think was possible, but that was authentic - I looked and in course, felt - like the absolute best version of myself on my wedding day. I was not the kind of bride that really knew what I wanted - I trusted the artists and professionals and was NOT disappointed. This said, if you have a vision or something specific you want (which my bridesmaids did) they were able to execute hair and makeup beyond your vision and what you intend - truly amazing! Beyond this, I had sessions with Shanon for hair before my wedding to get my hair in top shape prior to the big day, and had brow therapy and a hydration facial with Jaclyn which were game-changers! Not only are the women at Whole You Beauty great people, but they are also LITERAL masters of their craft. I only had four bridesmaids but also included my mom, mother-in-law and two sister-in-laws and they were not only super organized, professional but they got it done in a timely manner and everyone was thrilled with how they looked!

Look no further and book Jen for your wedding! Not only is Jen incredibly talented, she is patient, fun, calm, and she loves what she does! She made sure I was happy with everything both at my trial and on my wedding day. She and Rachel did such an incredible job and everyone, I mean EVERYONE loved how their hair and makeup came out! Lindsay Sent on 09/26/2018My mom and I have been seeing Jen since ‘08, we both have very VERY fine hair and she’s always done magical work for us. We had my brothers wedding coming up and thankfully Jen was able to set us up with her team: Jaclyn and Shannon. We had so much fun in the studio that day and to say they did an amazing job is an understatement. Shannon (on hair) created a beautiful up-do for me, and a stunning blow out for my mom. Jaclyn killed the make up for us both- finished with lashes and a light, not cakey, airbrushed look. Not to mention, we were finished by 10 am and the look kept *on a pretty humid day* all. day. long. (very impressive in my opinion). I’m especially grateful that they made my mom feel beautiful on the day of her first sons wedding. Thank you to the Whole You Beauty team, we look forward to all the future events knowing they will start with you!!

Lauren Sent on 09/05/2018When I began looking for a makeup artist for my wedding, I didn’t have any word of mouth suggestions or people I knew. So I blindly looked online and reached out to a few places. Jennifer from whole you immediately got back to me with pricing and asked if I would like to set up a trial. Some of the other vendors I spoke with were incredibly expensive and/or didn’t get back to me for several days. I set up a trial with Jaclyn and we clicked right away. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the airbrush makeup that she did during the trial, and she assured me that was why we did the trial so we could try different things and get it just right on the big day. Between then and my wedding day, Jaclyn did two facials on me- one was a gentle chemical peel and the other a calming facial one week before my wedding. She was “prepping” my face- (her palate). She gave me amazing deals on the services since I was one of her brides. By the time my wedding rolled around, my skin felt amazing, hydrated, and free of blemishes. She and Jennifer were punctual, fun and professional on the day of my wedding. My whole bridal party’s makeup was beautiful and natural looking..... and it didn’t take the whole day to do. My experience with whole you was fabulous from start to finish- responsive, affordable, friendly and personalized. I plan to keep seeing Jaclyn for my facials and would highly recommend this studio to anyone!

All aspects of working with this great team were on point from coordinating multiple people in my wedding party, communicating leading up to and on my wedding day, my up do trial, listening to my vision and making everyone feel special. I come from a thrifty family, so for my parents and wedding party, this was a splurge and it warms my heart to know that they felt it was well worth their time and money. Thank you ladies, for being part of our special day!

Allyson Sent on 04/25/2018Jen is amazing! The first time I met her was for my hair and makeup trial for my wedding. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was totally happy with my trial "look." Then, on my wedding day, I showed her a new hair picture that I liked and she tweaked my hair to match exactly what I was looking for on-the-fly. I couldn't have been happier and got so many compliments! Since then, I have been going to Jen every 6 - 8 weeks for color/cuts and she is truly the best. I trust her opinion and ideas every time!
