If you're searching for your wonderful venue, you will find it with Whitetail Ridge! I cannot speak highly enough of this venue and its staff. Ashley and her team are extremely professional, kind, fun, and easy to work with. They always answered my emails quickly, they were super accommodating with me being an out-of-town bride, and I had complete trust in their abilities. If there's one thing you want on your wedding day, it's to have a team of vendors that you can trust to keep things running smoothly so you don't have to worry about it. Ashley and her staff did just that. They took care of setting up all our decor the day of the wedding, and at the end of the night, they even took down all our decor. I also found their prices very reasonable. And the food was delicious! The appetizers were so yummy, and our dinner was too. One of our main dinner items was the filet mignon, and our guests are STILL complimenting how delicious it was. Finally, the venue itself is beautiful! It exceeded all my expectations. The entrance is stunning. The ballroom is gorgeous and spacious. And the grounds are marvelous. We took our photos outside on the golf course, and the setting was absolutely picturesque. Do yourself a favor and book this venue. You won't regret it!

Perfect venue and staff!

We had an amazing experience having our ceremony and reception at Whitetail. Crysta was our day of coordinator and went above and beyond to ensure that each detail of our day was perfect! Each staff member was professional, very helpful, and communicative with each other and myself.

10/10 would recommend!

Whitetail was such a pleasure to work with! Very easy to work with from all the questions we had, cultural incorporations we wanted to include in our day, and anything in between! Abby and Ashley were there to answer any questions we had along the way and would give their expert opinions when we weren’t sure of what to do. We went with family style dinner and the food was hot and delicious and on time! As a event coordinator myself, this is extremely rare that the main course food comes out on time especially for a 250 guest count! We were able to start our first dance promptly at 7 because of their timeliness. All in all, they made this wedding coordinator feel relaxed and feel like everything was under control to let me lose a little control! Haha.
10/10 would recommend!

Our wedding was absolutely stunning at Whitetail Ridge. We cannot get over how great everything turned out. The whole team at Whitetail is just so helpful and stood by us on our day, and every day leading up to it! We wish we could live the day over and over again. We can’t recommend them enough :)

Great Venue!

Whitetail is a beautiful venue on the inside and out. The food is incredible and the staff/service is even better! We had the best experience at Whitetail and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful golf course venue. The staff was very easy to work with and made all our wedding dreams come true!

Great experience

We had attended 2 weddings at Whitetail Ridge and loved each one, so we decided to look into them for our own wedding. They have several different wedding packages that include almost everything, allowing you to choose what fits right for you. We were able to go to the tasting with many other wedding couples (the food was wonderful!) and try the foods in a setting like our wedding day would be. Ashley was great to work with, answering our questions and working with us on everything. Since there were no events in the ballroom the week leading to our wedding, we were able to drop all of our decor off anytime during the week, and it was all setup for us when we arrived on our wedding day. The space looked beautiful and all of the staff we saw that evening was very pleasant. They helped clean up and organize our decor at the end of the evening, and the venue would even let us pick up the decor the next day if we didn’t have space to take it home that night. We also took pictures on the grounds and were able to use golf carts to help get our photographers and videographers around. Thanks for helping make our day perfect!

The best in kendall county!

Perfect Venue!

Ashley & Amanda were such a pleasure to work with! The venue was absolutely perfect & Amanda took care of all the final details perfectly.

The food was fantastic & the set-up was well laid out. I could not have asked for better customer service for my big day!

What's also very important is leading up to the wedding & Amanda dealt with my crazy amount of emails & constantly updating of details. I sure was a pain in the butt, however Amanda did not mind at all.

Megan & Ashley were incredible to work with from start to finish! Both ladies went above and beyond to meet our every need from the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony, to the reception! Everything was FLAWLESS! They made our day better than we could have ever envisioned it!!

This place is the perfect place for a wedding. Tina and Megan are wonderful people and run it very smoothly! They are willing to help with all of our requests. Along with that they set up and take down all of the decor. The food was amazing and the service quality was amazing. I love this place and everyone that work there. The bartenders are memorable and remember everyone and everyone’s drinks. It was amazing!

Wonderful Venue!!
Whitetail Ridge did an amazing job for my wedding in November. My husband and I received several compliments on the food and services on how attentive and nice they were to all our guests. They were very easy to work with, helpful and extremely nice!

We had our reception on October 21st, 2017 at Whitetail Ridge....and it was perfect!! From the very first time we walked in to even check the place out, we were met with professionalism, respect, and excitement from the staff. Our coordinator, Megan Gregg, made the process as easy as possible for us; we could see how much she went above and beyond for us. Every question I had, she answered me quickly and always had a solution for any problem we had
( which were very, very few anyways).
Tina handled the food aspect so wonderfully-the food was great and came out on time and our guests were raving about how tasty everything was!
Megan made sure that the day was a fairy tale, that is honestly how it felt. Whitetail exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re contemplating their services for your wedding reception, stop debating and book with them. THANK YOU Whitetail Ridge and Megan—- because of you we can look back on our wedding day with smiles and love!!!

Megan was EXTREMELY helpful, flexible, friendly; very welcoming to bobby and I! Megan made everything so easy to plan, make decisions; Megan was very patient with us & always helped us through timelines. I/We cannot thank megan & Ashley enough for making our day so unbelievably special!! Whitetail Ridge is a BEAUTIFUL venue, not only the scenery but the building itself. Everything was so clean, the setup of our room was so perfect, the fireplace was lite, the ambiance of our day was spectacular!!

I have absolutely no complaints about Whitetail. Ashley and Megan were so helpful and always there if I had any questions. It was such an easy process to book with Whitetail and everything was so organized from day 1 up to the day of. The food was excellent, the staff was so professional and helpful on the day of, and it everything went so well. The venue itself is so beautiful and the staff had awesome recommendations for photo areas as well. Whitetail is all around the best venue and exactly what we were looking for. I will recommend Whitetail to all newly engaged couples!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Whitetail Ridge on August 5th and it was absolutely perfect! Not only is the venue and golf course gorgeous but the food is delicious as well. The price we paid for the amount of people we had (around 230 guests) was very affordable and lower than most large venues in the area. Megan and Ashley are so nice and amazing to work with. They made everything easy and stress free from the beginning. I highly recommend this venue!

We started out working with Ashley and then they brought on Megan on to the team! Ashley was a wonderful when I came through 2 times before deciding on Whitetail being our wedding venue! Ashley was quick to respond to emails and also let me visit multiple times throughout the wedding planning process! When Ashley introduced me to Megan I knew yet again we were going to be in good hands. Megan was also quick to respond to my weekly emails and helped with every part of the big day from helping with set up, to helping with the ceremony by sending people down the aisle, to helping throughout the reception and making sure everything was running smoothly. Whitetail Ridge is a beautiful venue and I am so glad to have had my wedding at such a wonderful establishment!

I attended a wedding at WTR as a guest back in 2009, and it was just beautiful - so beautiful, in fact, that I crossed it off my list for possible future nuptials, as I assumed it would be too expensive. Sad face :(.

Fast forward to December 2015 when we start our venue search, and I email Ashley on a whim, only to find out this gorgeous place really IS affordable (though, cost is relative for weddings). And, our date was open! We booked, and then proceeded to have the best experience working with Ashley and the staff.

I love how they do their tastings - inviting all weddings for the year to a reception-like event, so you can see how they work and - most importantly - so you can see how it tastes made in large quantities. If you can't make the dates offered, they do still offer one-on-one tastings.

Ashley was super responsive to my emails, changes I had, questions that came up. She happily opened the doors on multiple occasions so I could visit with my coordinator, bridesmaids, etc. Based on other events around your date, you're able to come in early AND leave decor for a day or two if you agree in advance. For our NYE wedding, that was needed! The food was good - everyone loved the Dijon Chicken!

If you are looking for a warm & welcoming place to hold your wedding, somewhere run by and like a family, Whitetail Ridge Golf Club is your place. Go see Ashley Walker Johnson. We LOVED working with them - so helpful and flexible, and everyone, thought they see lots of weddings come through, treated us like ours was the biggest event of the year!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club on Saturday, November 12, 2016 and everything went off without a hitch. Our wedding coordinator, Ashley, was helpful from our first interest email to the night of our wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure that the both of us, as well as our family and friends, were comfortable and had everything we needed. Every question that we had was answered promptly via email and we appreciated and enjoyed the food tasting, original and finalizing meetings and everything in between. Multiple guests commented on how nice the wedding venue was and how great the food selections were. The service is definitely top notch, and the people are even better! Thank you to Ashley, Amanda and Whitetail Ridge, for helping us have a perfect wedding reception!

Ashley was wonderful to work with. My sister and I both had weddings at Whitetail a month apart, and Ashley helped keep the stress level down. She was there to answer questions and offer suggestions from years of experience and knowledge of vendors. On the big day, she made sure everything was perfect, helped us stick to our schedule, and even bustled my dress when the maid of honor was struggling. The golf course was a beautiful view for the ceremony, the reception decor all came together just as I had imagined, and the food was delicious - I recommend the bourbon pork!

We used Whitetail for our rehearsal dinner, rented their terrace room for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the day of the wedding, and for our reception and everything was absolutely perfect! The food was great and Ashley and her team were amazing and kept things moving smoothly. They took care of everything for us including putting our centerpieces and party favors together and setting up all of our pictures and guest books. We checked into several places for our wedding and reception and Whitetail had the most to offer for the price. We could not be happier that we decided to have our wedding there. If you are looking for a location for your wedding, I highly recommend contacting Ashely!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Whitetail Ridge on July 10, 2015. I do not have enough great things to say about this venue. It truly was everything we hoped for and more. The location was perfect! It is out in the country surrounded by trees, streams, farms, etc. The view from the large windows in the reception hall is absolutely beautiful!

Ashley, the event coordinator, is amazing! She was professional, yet down to Earth, and was so helpful. She answered all of my emails quickly, especially the few months leading up to my wedding when I had many, many questions. :) The day before my wedding I dropped off all of my decorations with instructions and Ashley, along with a few other staff members, had the entire place decorated, EXACTLY how I wanted the morning of my wedding. When I went to visit that morning I couldn't believe how great of a job they had done. It was SO NICE to not have to worry about that on the big day!

The reception could not have ran more smoothly. Staff was friendly and professional and everything was timed perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests loved it! I could go on and on about how happy we were with our decision to have our wedding reception at Whitetail Ridge!! :)

My husband and I could truly not have picked a better wedding venue. Ashley and her team made every detail perfect from the planning to the ceremony to the reception. It has rained up until 10 minutes before the ceremony started and her team still made the ceremony go off without a hitch. My pictures turned out amazing even with the rain. We had to do them in front of the dark wooden doors and I think they came out even better than if they had been outside. Can't say enough good things about Whitetail Ridge. So blessed to have found them!

My wife and I had our wedding here and could not have been more pleased with how everything went. The facility is absolutely beautiful...the ceremony, the reception, and especially the pictures, were breathtaking. The food was fantastic. We've even eaten here other than our wedding and it was equally as delicious. Of course, what really made it unforgettable was the staff. Ashley and Amanda were absolutely amazing during the whole process. From the very first meeting/showing, communicating back and forth, the hundreds of questions we had for them, the flexibility and friendliness, it was all top notch. We (and our guests!) can't say enough about how pleased we were with everything. I would recommend Whitetail Ridge to anybody, whether it be a wedding, special event, or just stopping by for dinner our a round of golf!

Before I rave about how PERFECT our wedding was, I would like to thank Ashley, wedding coordinator/miracle worker, and her fantastic team. Without them, our perfect day would not have been possible.
From the moment that Kyle (the hubby), saw Whitetail Ridge from Rt. 126, he was in love! We were not even in the parking lot when he said to me, "This is the place! This is where we will have our wedding!" Whitetail Ridge is a GORGEOUS venue; a beautiful golf course with wide open spaces, absolutely lovely landscaping, and a ballroom that blows most venues away. We haven't even seen our wedding photos yet but I have no doubt that they are beautiful because we had the perfect setting. We had everything at Whitetail; the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. Ashley made herself available to answer all my questions and I didn't have to worry about a thing! She really knows how to keep a bride happy! ;-) She was able to keep us all on track before, during, and after without letting anyone get frantic or stressed (which I appreciated immensely).
The food was fantastic and the staff was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in our first visit to the day after the wedding, Whitetail Ridge exceeded our expectations by far. Thank you!

Loved Whitetail! The staff was very professional and Ashley, the event coordinator, was great to work with. They let us do a lot of our own decorations which made the wedding personal. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding or party venue.

Amazing staff! Wedding planner, Ashley, had everything covered. Worked with everything we wanted. Everything went very smoothly on the wedding day. No problems at all. Place looked amazing. Staff was willing to do anything for us at any point!

Ashley was absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better venue coordinator! I have a very hard time letting others take control and Ashley handled everything perfectly and made me feel so relaxed and at ease, especially the day of the wedding...she was phenomenal throughout the entire process! Our wedding was simply gorgeous and I highly recommend Whitetail Ridge to future brides or others looking for a venue for a party. I cannot say enough good things about both Whitetail Ridge and Ashley. I am so glad that we chose them...it was worth every cent! :)

Ashley is wonderful to work with. She was very patient with us and willing to answer all of our questions. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The venue is scenic and was so perfect for our big day. The view from the reception space is gorgeous and the grounds are well kept. The new dance floor is so nice!
We will definitely return for brunches and dinners in the near and far future.

Whitetail was the prefect place for our wedding! Ashely is great. She was able to do everything we asked and even found my husbands craft beer that he wanted. It was everything we were expecting and more!!

Not only is the venue just beautiful but the staff was AMAZING! Truly went above and beyond our expectations for our big day--not only do I recommend but I don't see any other option in the surrounding area.

Whitetail Ridge and Ashley were both great to work with. Ashley answered every question I had within a few hours, no matter what time I emailed her. There was a cake issue on the day of the wedding when the topper fell off and smeared frosting all down the back, but Ashley and the rest of the staff fixed it so that you couldn't tell the difference!

The food is delicious, the venue is gorgeous, and the price was very reasonable.

Whitetail Ridge was a great venue to work with. Ashley and her team were amazing!! They were able to do a custom menu for our Caribbean/beach themed wedding. All our guests were commented on how great the food was! The banquet staff was friendly and attentive. Beautiful venue with lots of windows and an amazing view of hills and woods. You would never expect such a view in Illinois! Would highly recommend!!

Ashley and Amanda were awesome!!! I would think of something to do and would go check on it and they would already be doing it. After this happened 3 or 4 times, I decided they had everything under control and I should just relax and have fun. They made our day perfect and were so professional. The food was great, I recomend the Chicken Dijon. At the end of the night they had all our stuff packed up and ready for us. They made what might have been a very stressful day a wonderful day. The wait staff were very accomaditing and friendly.

My wife and I had our wedding at Whitetail Ridge last month and it was by all accounts an all around great experience. We had 6 months to plan and the banquet/wedding coordinator Ashley couldn't have been easier and more fun to work with.

From working well with the outside vendors to special requests they catered to all and made it such a great experience. They made a beautiful venue look even more amazing with the lighting and table setup and their crew treated our guests like kings and queens throughout the night.

Our guests loved the food and the dinner service was lauded for how smoothly the buffet was run, feeding everyone efficiently and to the brim. I highly recommend Whitetail if you want a beautiful, easy, relaxing and honest wedding experience. No hidden costs or drama that we saw when visiting other banquet halls.

Thanks to Ashley and the entire staff for the great memories.

Our ceremony was not at Whitetail but the reception was. Ashley, the wedding coordinator was amazing!!! She was very helpful days prior to the wedding and made sure that things ran smoothly the day of! The place looked gorgeous and had nothing but compliments from our guests! The food was very tasty and well prepared!! Our guests were very pleased and so were we!!! Thank you Ashley and all the staff at Whitetail!!

We looked at a couple of different places but as soon as we saw whitetail ridge golf club we knew it was the place. It was perfect! We loved everything about it. I am SO happy that I went with Whitetail Ridge for my reception venue. I had looked at so many other places, but Whitetail felt like home. Ashley Johnson, who I worked with personally on every detail, was fabulous - always responsive, always accomodating, and went out of her way to make my day PERFECT. The food was fabulous!! Several of my guests commented to me afterwards that it was the best "wedding" food they had had in a long time.

I recently used Whitetail Ridge for our wedding rehearsal dinner. We rented out the bottom level private room, I believe it's called the 19th Hole Room. I worked primarly with Ashley. She was able to create a customized buffet for my group. I really wanted to go semi-casual with the meal and she suggested a cook-out style buffet. We did chicken breasts, burgers, baked beans, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, etc. They were able to offer 3 vegetarian meals and accomodate my husbad who is on a strict gluten-free diet. Ashley always responded to my e-mails in a timely matter and her quotes & contracts were always accurate and professional. The night of the event everything went smoothly. It was a great place to relax and enjoy entertaining our group (FYI this room holds 40-50). The bartender on staff was equally as friendly and helpful. She even cut our cake we had brought in! I would highly suggest booking thru Whitetail!

We loved White Tail and specifically Ashley Johnson. The establishment gave us the best deals financially of all the places we looked at, along with the best overall feeling. From the moment we first contacted White Tail until our ceremony we felt like we truly had a say in what we wanted and Ms. Johnson made us feel at ease. The place was beautiful and we didn't have to do much of anything as the staff decorated almost everything for us. We were allowed to customize our room and add our own decorations early. We were also allowed to do our rehearsal without charge. Ms. Johnson and her staff was amazing and I highly recommend White Tail Ridge Golf Course to everyone for any occasion.

Whitetail Ridge was a wonderful place to have our June 5th wedding reception! The grounds were just as beautiful as I'd hoped they would be and the staff was extremely attentive to me and my husband to ensure our night went the way we wanted. Whitetail Ridge was hands down the best venue to work with for our wedding! I can't say enough how helpful Ashley was in planning, and the staff really made me feel like I was not just another wedding for them but I was important for them. We had so many guest even call after the wedding to say how delicious the food was it most def. did NOT taste like normal wedding food. Not to mention the venue it's self is so BEAUTIFUL to look out and see the golf course and all the greenery. Made outstanding pictures! I would recomend this place to everyone, check it out yourself and you'll fall in love.

The team at Whitetail Ridge did an amazing job of hosting our wedding ceremony and reception in May 2011. The staff was willing to work with any request we made, and provided the flexability to meet all our needs. The food was excellent - we got numerous compliments. Their pricing makes for a great value for all that you get. The venue was clean and beautifully decorated, making things even easier for our vendors and guests. Our wedding at Whitetail was the most magical moment of my entire life. From the first moment I met the staff and talked to them about what I was looking for, they were nothing but understanding and worked with us to give us the wedding of our dreams. I never had a problem getting a hold of them and never wondered about anything. I stopped by on a number of occations and the staff was always willing to take the time for us. I didn't have a single worry through the planning process. The day of the event was a dream come true. John, Ashley, Dan and Corey were incrediable. Every guest we had was speachless about how beautiful the event was and all the credit had to be given to the wonderfull staff who made all of our dreams come true and gave us the most memoriable moment of or Lives. I have recomended them to everyone and plan on using them in the future for any events and gatherings we have.

We held our ceremony and reception at Whitetail Ridge on Feb. 20th, 2011. The indoor ceremony was held in front of the fireplace in the Terrace Room with a reception immediately following in the ballroom. We were very pleased with everything about Whitetail Ridge. I loved the neutral colors of the rooms where our event was held. Both rooms have walls of windows which allowed us to see the golf course outside which, even if February, was very pretty.
Ashley was my main contact at Whitetail. She was always very quick to respond to my questions. John was also very helpful during planning. The staff on the day of were all wonderful. Very friendly and professional. We were able to drop off all our decorations ahead of time and Ashley and the rest of the staff took care of putting them where they neeeded to go. It was nice to not have to worry about that on the day of the wedding.
The food was delicious. We had soup and salad served at the table followed by a buffet main course. Our guests especially loved the Dijon Chicken. It was juicy and crunchy, which you don't always get with banquet hall chicken. We were so pleased with how tasty the food was. Ashley was very accomodating and really helpful with everything we needed for our wedding.

I booked Whitetail Ridge after Fisherman's Inn went bankrupt, so I was a little skeptical going into it at first since I had already made up my mind on Fisherman's Inn. Whitetail Ridge is a little expensive, but they certainly deliver. I could not have asked for a more professional and helpful staff to work with, especially Ashley (the wedding coordinator). Ashley would often respond to my emails the same day that I sent them, and she even stayed on the premesis for the majority of the actual wedding day even though it was a Sunday.

Our wedding coordinator fulfilled every detail we could ever think of and more on our wedding day. She went above a beyond for us! We are very grateful for how she was before our wedding and on our wedding day. Communication was excellent and she was flexible with our choices. Whitetail Ridge was an amazing place to host our reception! The room was so gorgeous with all of the windows and the chandeliers make it look so classy. Ashley was a complete joy to work with, she was incredibly patient with all of my questions and absentminded-ness. The food was delicious, all of our guests raved about it! The staff was very accomodating leading up to the event as well as the night of. We were able to take golf carts out through the course with our photographer and take pictures on the beautiful grounds. My husband being a golfer just loved that! We recommend Whitetail to anyone looking for a place to host any event!

Whitetail Ridge was our hall and caterer. They were so accommodating from the beginning. Ashley was prompt when answering emails and my hundreds of questions. We used their vendors for linens and gold Chiavari chairs as well. The food was unbelievable. Everyone was blown away by the Chicken Dijon and Filet Mignon duet. Their service was quick too and that was awesome for everyone to get their food hot and in a timely manner. They set up all of DIY details like menus, favors/placecards, advice jar, and made the room look perfect. I would highly recommend Whitetail Ridge for your wedding!

Whitetail Ridge Golf Club is very easy to work with, very accomodating, helpful in every aspect and an all around beautiful venue. We had a brunch reception that everyone loved!!! Megan was more than helpful, she did a great job.

Megan was fabulous to work with!! Everything was beautiful and made just how we wanted on our special day. Great food and a beautiful view make for a wonderful reception venue! Pricing was good too! I would highly recommend :)

Whitetail Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! Ashley and Megan are so sweet and very professional! They were very accommodating with our needs and wants. I always got a call or email back within 24 hours. They definitely exceeded my expectations and helped me have the best wedding I always dreamed of having!!

Absolutely fell in love with this venue on first visit! All the staff were great and so helpful! Loved working with Megan throughout the whole process. She made me feel less stressed about all the planning as she handled a lot of the venue planning... we just had to tell her what we wanted! The golf course is breathtaking for pictures! Would definitely recommend again and again!

Beautiful venue! It was perfect for our reception. Ashley and Amanda were so helpful and took care of all of the little details. We planned our wedding in 4 months and they made it so easy to do!

The entire staff at Whitetail was fantastic and they were able to decorate our tables better than we had hoped for. Absolutely breathtaking views and the food was fantastic. We had a last minute head count change after our final payment and they actually worked with us to create a bar tab upon the arrival of the bridal party to ensure our money was well spent. Only review I recieved back from one of our guests was we had requested a gluten free meal option for him (due to extreme allergy) and he never recieved his meal. Luckily there were a few options on the buffet he was able to eat. The wait staff and bar staff were the best we have even seen. They actually would see someone walking in the direction of the bar and already have a drink poured before they got up there. Highly recommend this location for future events.

We loved working with Whitetail. They were so accommodating with us and our ideas, especially with our Sausage Table. The food was excellent and the place is beautiful. It was perfect for what we needed, a great beautiful, large space, that did not break the budget. We highly recommend.

Everything was fantastic! Megan and Ashley were wonderful to work with and very accommodating! It was truly a great place to host an event.
The only problem was that we ordered the penne pasta with vodka cream sauce and the kitchen gave us baked mostaccioli instead. When I asked the chef I was told that it was what we ordered, but that the cream sauce gets darker over time. I've worked in a restaurant for 30 years and have never seen cream sauce turn red!! He did at least offer to make the other dish.

This was a great venue to hold both our ceremony and reception! The food was the best food I have ever had at a wedding, and many guests voiced the same opinion. Their packages included a lot for the money, and no one went hungry or waited very long to eat. The staff was wonderful, professional, and worked great under pressure. We had a wonderful wedding thanks to them!

Ashley from White Tail Ridge handled our entire wedding and reception and we could not have been more pleased. Ashley is excellant. We felt the price for the reception was reasonable and the food was fantastic. We thought the price to have the service there was a bit high since it was a short service and required nothing extra other than the gazabo. Other than that everything else was exactly as we wanted it. The entire staff was very professional, efficent and eager to please. We would highly recommend it! In fact we go there for dinner every chance we get. All of our guest still tell us how wonderful every was.

Ashley and the staff at Whitetail were all very friendly and helpful. Flexiable in all our needs and special requests. Food was great and served in a timley professional manner. A great room for any event. My guests can't stop talking about the beautiful grounds and sunet views that you can see through out the property with its large windows. A great staff! My guests included alot of people who work in the hospitallity industry, we usually are the toughest critics!

This venue was the best bang for our buck. Plus it offered beautiful scenery and excellent food. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The event coordinator did a wonderful job working with us to get exactly what we wanted. All of our guests said that this was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to. My only concern for future brides would be that they are on a tight schedule to get everything in, so when it came time to take pictures of just the groom and I we didn't have much time to get around the golf course for our "intimate" pictures. But I would definately recommend this place to any future bride. And you can have your shower and luncheon there as well, they have menus and prices for that too. Don't forget to go for the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning after the wedding, it's delish!

Whitetail Ridge did an amazing job. Ashley and the rest of the staff were knowledgable, professional, and positive. The venue was beautiful- great areas to take pictures and the facility was clean. Our guests really enjoyed the food and thought everything was beautiful. However, the closest hotel is 15-20 minutes away so we had to provide a shuttle service so our guests could celebrate, but get home safely. I highly recommend Whitetail Ridge as it was fabulous and not outrageously expensive like other venues in the surrounding area.

Whitetail Ridge was a dream to have our wedding reception at. Everything was perfect. Ashley and John were amazing. Couldnt of asked for anything better. The food was delish. Perfect setting and had a wonderful time by all that attended.

The wedding coordinator, Ashley, was VERY helpful to us before our wedding and on our wedding day. She always responded quickly via email and made extra arrangemeents when I was unsure about an aspect of the wedding (I was not sure what look I wanted for the tables and she ordered several different samples and set them up in the dining room). On the day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly and Ashley was working all morning on setting things up to my specifications. My only complaint was that the staff insisting on cleaning up the ceremony seats IMMEDIATELY after the ceremony even though they weren't being used again that evening and they kept getting in the way of our wedding photos. Similarly, the wedding ended at 12 am midnight and they started cleaning up the tables (removing chair covers, dismantling centerpieces) around 11 pm, which I thought was tacky. They put out a tip jar at the bar which was fine I guess but then my father was called early the next morning to ask for a $300 "bar fee" and we were away on our honeymoon so my dad paid it even though he didn't know what it was for. We paid for an open bar and I wasn't notified of anything out of the ordinary happening so I thought that was a little tacky! Overall a great experience though.

The venue was lovely and the price was reasonable. I thought the ceremony fee for the patio was a little overpriced, considering no changes are made to it except adding the chairs. The wedding day was a little chaotic as the Assistant Coordinator seemed to be the one running the show. I was a pretty laid back bride, so I didn't really mind too much, but I could see how this could freak out some brides. We had not met the assistant until the rehearsal and at that time her role was minor, while suddenly on the wedding day she seemed to be the one running the show.

Many of my main guests (bridal party, parents) were often looking for the Coordinators throughout the event for help with setup or other issues and had trouble finding them. Also, we had discussed with the Coordinator that we wanted to do our first dance AFTER dinner and cake cutting, but the Assistant caught us totally by surprise when she announced the First Dance to our guests at the wrong time. I didn't care much, we just had the DJ make the correction, but then she came up to me and argued that I had told them a different order. (which was kind of unprofessional, considering I didn't see her mistake as a big deal).

On the plus side, the assistant was very helpful on some occasions. As my ceremony was to be outside, I bought rose petals to put down the aisle and the Assistant offered to do this for me. It was a windy day and she kept coming back asking if it was okay to try different ideas to make them not blow away, which I appreciated. In the end she offered to use them to decorate the reception hall instead, and it looked fabulous. Both ladies were very flexible for the rehearsal and wedding day, and the Coordinator was flexible and responsive throughout the planning stages.

Overall it was a good experience, I just wish the Coordinator would have done the following:

-Mentioned/introduced us to the Assistant before the rehearsal
-Been more present during the reception so guests did not have to hunt her down to deal with issues
-Given the Assistant more guidance and training for the reception
