Amanda and the Whitehead team were a dream to work with! We had our wedding there on April 30 2022 and everything was green, lush and blooming – absolutely beautiful!
We loved that the venue at Whitehead had spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, so we didn’t have to move our guests between events. Each space was unique and absolutely gorgeous, and fit our vision for our day perfectly. We had about 100 guests which worked well in terms of size/space; the dance floor wasn’t overly crowded and there was a nice flow through our food stations. Plenty of room for multiple stations plus the bar, ice cream cart and photobooth! We booked the clear tent in case of rain but lucked out with a beautiful sunny spring day; however, the clear tent added some wonderful ambiance and looked gorgeous with the market lights and the guest’s glowsticks and LED wands. We loved that there were separate, private spaces for the guys and girls to get ready; plenty of parking, and we ended up booking school buses to transport our guests back at the end of the night and there was plenty of room in the parking lot for 2 buses to fit!
Amanda was phenomenal to work with; she was extremely prompt and responsive in answering my questions and providing great guidance and advice to my many questions! Her advice was extremely helpful with linen colors, table settings, table set-up and flow, timeline, overall décor, recommendations on vendors and anything else you can think of. She’s incredibly organized, and she and her team made our day run so smoothly – if anything went wrong, we didn’t know about it thanks to them!
We are so happy that we got married at Whitehead. Thanks to Whitehead and the team there for making our wedding day so incredibly perfect! -

Whitehead Manor and the entire staff were so hands-on and made the stress of planning a wedding go away. They anticipate every need and go above and beyond to make sure everything is beautiful and runs smoothly. 10/10 recommend to any bride who wants a beautiful ceremony and a reception full of twinkle lights and fun ✨❤️ -

We Wouldn't Have Chosen Anywhere Else!
We got married at Whitehead Manor on March 20th, and it's the best decision we ever made. We keep on saying we made the best choice picking Whitehead Manor as our venue. Not only is it BEAUTIFUL and fit our vision perfectly, but the staff is amazing, so accommodating, and so great to work with, the location is accessible and in a great part of town, the venue has great vendors as partners.... I could go on and on. Whitehead Manor was amazing to work with from the beginning and made our wedding planning process and our wedding day go so smoothly. Amanda was our coordinator and I am so glad she was there to guide us along the way! She was so organized, always available when I had questions, and so sweet! Whitehead truly had everything we needed and went above and beyond for us in every aspect. Our guests commented on how beautiful they found the venue, and how much fun they had. The landscape and layout of the venue gives way for a perfect outdoor wedding. If you are looking for a venue to host an outdoor romantic, Southern, traditional wedding with a team who has your back and helps you every step of the way, look NO further than Whitehead Manor! We wish we could relive our wedding day again and again! -

We got married at Whitehead Manor and could not have dreamed of a better day! Everything we envisioned for our day came to life at Whitehead Manor and it was perfect. Not only was the day great, working with this staff on planning and day-of-details was stress free and as a bride, thats a huge gift! Also, the grounds are beautiful, ceremony to reception flowed nicely, and the best part was when our guests would tell us “I can’t believe we’re in the middle of Charlotte!”. If the photos you see of Whitehead Manor is the vibe you are going for, I HIGHLY recommend because it’s what you will get! -

This venue was absolutely incredible- even better in person than in the photos. The communication was great, the location was ideal, and the price was very reasonable! I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an indoor/outdoor Charlotte venue with charm, elegance, and a little nature! -

Whitehead Manor was incredible. From the start, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. It's beautiful, enchanting, and romantic. It has an elegant vibe but also feels welcoming, friendly, relaxed, and comfortable. Its beauty speaks for itself and day-of, it felt like a dream walking throughout the property. One thing that is not obvious when just looking at Whitehead Manor is how awesome its team is. The people there are absolutely incredible and because of them, our day was so successful. Our guests were very impressed with the staff's professionalism and hospitality and could not believe how smoothly the night went. They are continuing to brag to us about the venue and its staff. Everyone had a wonderful time and the staff at Whitehead Manor is to thank for that. We worked closely with Ashton (who is awesome!!!) throughout the wedding planning process and when our May wedding was postponed due to COVID, Ashton and Whitehead Manor were supportive, understanding, and so accommodating. They made re-planning a wedding a breeze, we could not have done it without them. They communicated clearly, anticipated our every need, and responded quickly to our special requests. If we had to do it again, without hesitation we would choose Whitehead Manor over and over again! -

Whitehead was by far the best venue we could have ever asked for. Let me just start off by saying thank you Karen, Shannon and Ashton for everything you did for us! And thank you to every single other WHM staff that I did not work with personally that helped set up, clean up and worked tireless to make our event run smoothly. Your hard work did not go unnoticed.
Whitehead Manor went above and beyond to meet our needs, our guest's needs and all the other vendors working that day. To say Whitehead Manor was accommodating would be an understatement. I could not imagine working with a better of group of individuals at a more beautiful venue.
Our wedding day was short of amazing and I highly credit that to the staff and coordinators of Whitehead. While I will not miss planning my wedding, I will miss working with Karen, Shannon, and Ashton. They are so passionate about their work and it was such a pleasure working with them.
If you are considering WHM, I could not recommend this venue more. -

Our day at Whitehead Manor was absolutely perfect. We knew from the moment we toured the venue that it was the perfect place for us. Their entire staff is so friendly and accommodating, they really make you feel like family- and the space is absolutely beautiful. We had so many friends and family come from out of town, and they all commented on how gorgeous the space was. We had looked around at a few other venues, but there's something about Whitehead Manor that just feels so special. I can't thank the staff at Whitehead Manor enough for everything they did to make our day complete. Ashton easily became more like a friend to me during the process and we are so grateful for her help and support! I would recommend Whitehead Manor to any bride-to-be without anyyy hesitation! -

What can I say? The staff at Whitehead Manor are some of the most amazing people my husband and I have met! We loved our entire wedding planning process so much, and I think a big part of that was because of Ashton’s patience, support, and help to ensure we had everything locked down well before the wedding.
Most say it’s good luck, but it DOWNPOURED on our wedding day. We were prepared with multiple tents. However, we thought we were getting a break in the rain before the ceremony so Ashton and team set up our entire ceremony both under the tent and near the tree outside, only for us to get rained out about 20 minutes before the ceremony. Ashton worked tirelessly to get everything moved to our protected tent location for the ceremony, and remained so calm and collected throughout the entire process, that it was easy to stay relaxed the day of our wedding, even though nothing was going as planned.
I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else. Ashton and team are so accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and I loved that we were really able to make the day our own. This is such a beautiful place to get married, and we are so appreciative for the work Ashton and team put into making our wedding day perfect.

If you are considering having your wedding at Whitehead Manor... DO IT.
For *months* my wife and I looked around the Charlotte area for the right venue... we would go to one, tour it, like it, but it would be way out of our price range. Or: tour it, somewhat like it, but it was well within our price range. For over two months we played this game, teetering between grand-but-expensive and mediocre-but-affordable venues in Charlotte...
That was, until we visited Whitehead Manor.
From the moment my wife and I pulled into the driveway off Sardis Road, we were instantly in love. A large yard with plush green grass lied directly ahead of us, surrounded by a wall of well-kept hedges for privacy, next to a gorgeous garden flourishing with majestic oak trees, flowers, and a Koi pond. Adjacent to the garden lied a beautiful Victorian-era manor with a large wooden deck that wrapped around the entire house. We followed the deck around, and suddenly we were gazing upon the loveliest courtyard nestled perfectly between the manor and conference center:
"This is where we're having it." we asserted.
But it got even better! The minute we met with Ashton, the property's event coordinator, we knew we were in good hands. She was so welcoming, warm, accommodating, and most importantly, passionate. After a quick tour, we sat down to look over the different options and packages they had to offer... and it was a no-brainer.
A GREAT value for your money!
After 9 months of wedding planning, working closely with Ashton and receiving great counsel the entire time, it was finally wedding day. The weather was PERFECT, the venue was beaming, everything was set up exactly how my wife envisioned it... not a single hiccup!
Ashton went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our requests and to bring our decorative ideas to life. Between her and her crew, the place looked absolutely stunning, and the quality of service both we—and our guests—received was first-rate.
After the wedding, nearly every one of our guests took the time to compliment us on how great they felt the wedding was; how beautiful the venue was, how great the service was, and how smoothly it all flowed. We had multiple people tell us it was easily one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Which, to my wife and I, could not have made us happier nor more appreciative of the level of care we received from Whitehead.
I could go on and on about this, but take us for our word and look no further: reach out to Ashton and schedule a tour at Whitehead Manor.
You WILL NOT be disappointed. -

Ashton and Paris were super friendly, attentive, and so fun to work with! They know all of the details that go into planning a wedding day and have the best suggestions for the venue. They were very flexible with our vendors and kept the day running smoothly. We would recommend Whitehead Manor to anybody!

User1970256 Sent on 12/15/2014Whitehead Manor was the perfect location for our intimate wedding of just 100 guests. The staff and our venue coordinator Karen were amazing to work with. They took all our worries away by providing outstanding service and being ultimately professional. If you ever envisioned having your wedding at a charming estate then Whitehead Manor is a perfect choice. The grounds and home are well taken care and and beautifully manicured.
