Jordan and our wedding coordinator, Virginia, were delightful to work with. They were very helpful and everything went smoothly due to their hard work. The grounds were beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. Everybody had a wonderful time! Would not have changed a thing!

White Oak Plantation was absolutely wonderful. Everything was beautiful and organized. All of the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Everything was perfect. The coordinators were there from start to finish and made certain the evening went smoothly, even in the rain! We could not have been happier with the venue, the food or the service.

The folks at White Oak couldn't have made things easier for us, they were a huge help in organizing our wedding, and recommending quality vendors. All of the staff were helpful, courteous, and professional. Our wedding went off without a hitch and the food was fantastic!

White Oak Plantation made my dream wedding into a reality! Everyone commented how amazing the food was and that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they'd ever been to. I originally wanted the ceremony to take place on the front lawn, but due to the rain, it was under the pavilion. It couldn't have turned out more beautiful! The intimacy and beauty of the garden area was perfect. Our attendant was amazing all night, and the entire planning process was made super easy with the help of Jordan and Mary Claire, our wedding day coordinator. Highly highly recommend White Oak as your wedding venue!

Absolutely loved having our wedding at White Oak Plantation! Jordan and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful throughout the whole process. They were very professional and prompt in all communications. Haley was an excellent coordinator for the week of the wedding and took care of everything. The plantation was so beautiful and the food could not have been better. Look no further for a wedding venue- White Oak Plantation is perfect!

White Oak Plantation was everything we could have ask for. Jordan and Miriam were amazing to work with and are both very professional. The wedding and reception went off smoothly even with the threat of rain. Jordan makes things happen. She worked with us on all our requests even the last minute ones. We were able to enjoy the entire evening without any worries. The food of course is extraordinary! We got numerous compliments on the food and how beautiful everything was. The staff at White Oak were unbelievable. They were all friendly and professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything was wonderful. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat!

White Oak Plantation made wedding planning a breeze. The list of vendors they work with are fantastic. The food was outstanding! Our day of wedding coordinator, Rebecca, was so organized and really helped move everything along. We absolutely loved her! The place is just beautiful inside and out. White Oak made our day perfect and very special. Even though our weather was beautiful that day, the front lawn was too wet to have our ceremony there. Our coordinator, Janine, found the perfect spot in the courtyard with an even better backdrop for our ceremony. Janine was there for my husband and I each time she was needed! The staff was very attentive to all of our needs.

This is where my reception was held...BEAUTIFUL!! The wedding planner who helps you before is great, but there is also someone there the day of who helps with EVERYTHING!! It was the first time I had met her but it felt like we had known each other forever! And the food was GREAT!!

My wife and I had our wedding at White Oak Plantation. The site was beautiful, and the staff was very accommodating. Even when our limo and brass band didn't show, they were willing to work with us and kept us calm until things got back on track. Jordan and her crew are amazing, the food was excellent, and guests appreciated having the wedding and reception in one venue. Honestly, we couldn't have picked a better location.

I recently got married on January 7, 2017 at White Oak. Obviously, the house and the grounds are gorgeous. They are reason enough to book here. But what you don't know is Jordan and the staff at White Oak are wonderful. They have so much experience with making weddings happen and knew answers to my questions before I even knew I had questions. Jordan was super helpful with helping me select every little detail. Madison, my day-of coordinator was such a joy. We were met with very unfavorable weather that day, and Madison made sure that I was happy with the set-up we came up with. I had the best experience here and could not have imagined my wedding anywhere else!

Gorgeous location with incredible staff. They remained creative and flexible in the midst of COVID pandemic. They kept up with regulations and adapted with ease. Location is great for sprawling indoor/ outdoor reception with options for guests to space out as much as they would like.

Everything was included, tables, chairs, food. The only things they were missing were flowers and a dj. Jordan is easy to work with, and getting outside vendors to help was a breeze.

White Oak is an excellent location in Baton Rouge for a wedding reception. The atmosphere is excellent, especially if you pay the extra money for the couchon de lait. Everyone that attended our reception had nothing but good things to say about the location, food, etc. It can be pricey but it was well worth it in my opinion. They don't have food tastings, but you can attend the bridal shows held there to sample some of the food.

From the minute I first spoke with Jordan, everything was perfect! They were easy to work with and very responsive when you had a question. For my wedding, it had rained everyday up to that day and they were very accommodating when moving the ceremony from the front lawn to under the new pavilion. The pavilion is gorgeous and the setup with breathtaking! Our coordinator that night was also phenomenal, never missed a step and was extremely helpful. Loved my whole experience with White Oak and their team!

We absolutely loved this place. Everyone was so available and willing to help us with any need we may have had. Jordan was awesome from start to finish with helping plan and organize even through the pandemic. Alexa stepped in and assisted in every way that she could to make sure that any decor and fixtures were set up and placed where they needed to be. The scenery was so beautiful at this venue, we didn't have to do much to decorate. Actually, we only had to bring the bare minimum because it was naturally beautiful. We loved it here. Food was delicious and everything we imagined it to be.

Perfect place to have your ceremony and reception. Wonderful pictures, wonderful food...and most importantly they had the whole night planned down to a science. They brought my husband and i drinks all night, right at our last sip they were there with another.

My husband and I got married here last night (6/13/14) and it was absolutely perfect!!! It rained in the morning so the lawn was a little flooded, but we decided to move the ceremony in the courtyard and I think it was even better than the front lawn! The staff was amazing! We had Penny as our own personal cocktail waitress, she was fantastic! Our whole wedding party always had a drink! If our drink was warm she would be there to give us a new one! She was so sweet and on top of things. The food was sooooo good! They even gave us doggy bags for us later. The staff made it so easy for the groom and I to relax and enjoy our wedding day! Our wedding coordinators were amazing as well! We had Haley and Virgina! All of our guests thought is was a beautiful wedding and had a wonderful time. We are still blown away by how perfect our wedding was! Thank y'all so much for making our special day even better than we could ever imagine!

I have no doubt that this is the best wedding venue in Baton Rouge! Everything was perfect from the food to the grounds. Jordan, Madison and the rest of the staff did everything humanly possible to make sure our wedding was perfect, and it was! I can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else!

This venue is absolutely perfect if you want to have an outside wedding in front of a plantation. It has an old feel to it but it is so well kept!

It was a fairytale wedding. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cost was a little high but it was well worth it. Jordan and Deborah did an awesome job. If you are looking for a place with great southern charm to have your wedding, White Oak Plantation is the perfect place.

Working with Jordan to make our dream wedding a reality was more than we ever expected! From the delicious food, pristine facility and great staff our day went off without a hitch! We couldn't of been happier with the out come!

I got married at White Oak plantation in March of 2017 and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful location with no stress. Everything is taken care of for you at White Oak – the place is so beautiful you can go as lavish or conservative as you would like with décor and it will still look great. The parking is great, backup/rain plans are awesome (we lucked out with perfect weather but I had peace of mind knowing my indoor plan was still lovely, if needed), the staff is so nice, and the pricing is on par with other caliber venues. Jordan was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions leading up to the big day! Penny, our “personal attendant”, was absolutely amazing throughout our wedding night. She took care of my family and me by making us feel at ease, replenishing our beverages, and assisting with anything we needed. My husband and I were the first to get married under the oak trees outside and it was gorgeous. The new awning was beautiful and made the perfect place for our band and dance floor. Thank you everyone at White Oak for rolling out the red carpet for us!

Love White Oak Plantation as an affordable plantation venue option. The pricing is great in regards to being able to have that fairytale plantation wedding on a budget or to go all out and have an upscale wedding. Jordan, the event manager and wedding coordinator, is absolutely fabulous and responds to emails promptly. I've emailed her to ask 100 questions and she always responds with every question in a prompt manner. The food is fabulous and the space is perfect. The outside has a paved walkway which I haven't seen at all plantations, this may not seem like a big deal but tell that to the girls who have to walk in the grass in heels! While the ballroom is a little smaller than other venues, I suggest having them open the ballroom to the back patio which is a great space and provides even more room for the guests! All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wishing for a plantation wedding!

I loved our wedding at White Oak. It ended up raining, but Jordan was there with options to keep everyone dry! Working with Jordan was great! The only thing I was unhappy with was the size of our to-go boxes. They don't let you bring any food home except for to-go boxes they make. I wish with the amount of food we had left over, we could have brought some more home.

I couldnt have picked a more beautiful place to get married at. Everything was perfect. It was well worth the money to have my wedding at such a perfect place. The only thing that wasnt that great was the food wasnt that great and wasnt worth the money. I never got to taste the food before hand either.

Upfront planning was great. Loved the venue and food. Overall planning coordinator was professional, however she wasn't there for event and other staff at event did not match her professionalism. Night of the wedding service was sparse. Staff refused to place welcome sign where I asked and argued that it needed to be elsewhere. I specifically stated where to place it near the door, then later found they had placed it where they wanted it. Cake didn't get served timely-came home with entire cake it seems. Lacked responsiveness when asked to serve guests, worker focused on preparing "go-boxes" rather than guests waiting for cake to be served. Not enough staff to get the job done it seemed. Lots of people came but so much food left over that we paid for and wanted to take home but were given 2 small plates with tiny samples of food. Later told couldn't send home due to "food safety" yet we were given go plates...?

I loved the location. It set the right ambiance and great look for my pictures. It made it an extra special night. However, the service I believe could have been a little better. As a bride, pictures almost consume the whole night. I had my wedding and reception there and you only get 3 1/2 hours. This goes by in a blink of an eye. I wish they had an option to prolong the night. I would have paid for extra hours. When I wasn't taking pictures, I was trying to have a good time and enjoy the music only there wasn't enough time to greet my guests doing that, which I didn't have enough time to say thank you to my guests. Also, I had to wait in line just to get drinks at the bar. This was another time consumer. I have since been to places that had people who served only the bride and groom and they never had to wait in line for drinks or food. You do get a to go box of food when you leave, which was excellent since I obviously did not have enough time to eat. The place has a great ambiance for pictures, but brides and grooms, eat first.
