While there are many important tasks and vendors to select to capture your perfect day, selecting a photographer for my wedding day had to have been one of the hardest tasks. After meeting Daryl at White Mountains Wedding Photography, I knew I could trust him and his team to capture my very important day. I reviewed with him all of my wants and needs as I was very specific about some inspirational shots I wanted captured. I even provided a list of the combinations of all the friends & family portraits I wanted on my wedding day so that Daryl and his team which they graciously accepted and assured me they would complete. They are very accommodating and the communication is very swift. Which I greatly appreciated throughout the entire process of planning and organizing.
Myself and now husband, are quite camera shy and spending time with the Daryl's team made us so comfortable to let our personalities show through. White Mountains Wedding Photography somehow captures the love and fun for not just our wedding day, but also for our engagement photo session. We felt very comfortable with the camera and the people behind it.
Daryl and his team are true professionals and artists. Their realism in each photograph captured the ambiance, feeling and emotions of our wedding day. These photos help me relive my wedding day over and over again. Pleasure to work with as their enthusiasm and communication, along with their gift of art, excels greatly. -

We could not be more pleased with the service we received on our wedding day! Daryl was very easy to work with from the moment we reached out to him! He followed up at exactly the right times leading to our big day and when our day finally arrived he NAILED IT!!! Daryl was extremely professional and showed us photos along the way. He even left the venue with us so that we could capture photos at this beautiful historic chapel we wanted to have. I would highly recommend him to all of my friends and family and anyone looking to hire a photographer to capture your special memories! -

Daryl made us feel very special! We recently had our engagement photos taken by Daryl at White Mountains Wedding Photography. We had numerous photos in various poses and backgrounds. We were able to view sample wedding albums and guest signing book. This gave us a better knowledge of his talent and what quality we can expect from him for our engagement photos and for our upcoming wedding day. Within a short time after the photo shoot, we had a link to review and choose from. As expected, they were just what we wanted. I am looking forward to our wedding day photos, I'm sure they will be creative and stunning!! Pricing was great as well as the package deals. Daryl is committed to making your photos special! We used white mountain photography for engagement photos and have never being in front of a camera for actual posed photos we had no clue what we were doing. Daryl told us a few poses to do and they came out amazing! We were so confortable and it wasnt awkward at all like I thought they may be. He has a gorgeous property that made for amazing photo back drops as well. I am so in love with how they turned out. We are using him for our wedding this fall and I can't wait to see how amazing they come out. -

Daryl with White Mountains Wedding Photography was amazing throughout my entire wedding planning process. He was readily available for any questions I had, and very flexible for dates/times with photo sessions. He communicated clearly with my husband and I for what wedding packages would work best for our needs, and always took the initiative to follow up with us about reminders, or confirming details of our photography needs. He included an engagement session with us as part of booking too!
When the actual day of the wedding arrived, he was on-site early, checked in regularly with me for the kinds of shots I wants as my bridal party and I were getting ready, and was very patient while we pushed to get photo-ready. Throughout the evening, he checked in regularly to make sure he was getting candid photos of everyone on our list.
Finally, he touched base the following day to thank my husband and I for working with him for our wedding. I really liked how he went the extra mile to check in with us at each step of the planning and celebration process, including follow-up after the event.
I would hire him again for any future events I have! -

Comfortable experience and beautiful results!
Daryl was so communicative with us throughout the whole process from discussing prices to shooting our engagement shoot. He is doing our wedding next September and I am so thrilled we got the chance to work with him first. He showed us our photos as we went along, asked us questions, made sure we were comfortable, and the results were beautiful and SO fast. The photos made my day when I received them and I will definitely cherish them forever. -

We have hired WMWP for our wedding next year in Pittsburg NH. The package rates were a little to high for what we could afford, so Daryl (the owner) worked directly with us to find a package to suit our needs. We were utterly grateful!
We just had our Engagement Sitting last weekend and it was such a lovely time. We have never had professional photos done, so of course our nerves were up. Daryl made it such a relaxed and enjoyable time. Our photos came out amazing and we are beyond happy to have Daryl be part of our special day.

Daryl was amazing. He was incredibly flexible, responsive and the quality of his work was phenomenal. We eloped at the summit of Mt Washington so had Daryl and his videographer on standby for 2 days. When day 1 wasn't ideal, he was flexible to switch to day 2. On the wedding day he arrived early, hiked with us at the summit and found amazing spots to shoot. He was flexible and easy going but also very decisive on what would look best. We had a great day and Daryl was integral to that. I cannot thank him enough for saying yes to us! -

We hired Daryl for a small intimate wedding. Daryl was very prompt and professional, and was able to figure out some fun photos for members of the wedding party while others were running late. He took a lot of great photos, both group and individual. We love all the photos so much! -

If you have no idea what to do in front of a camera then you NEED Daryl Hawk as your photographer.
We hired Daryl for our barn wedding later this year & his packages include an engagement shoot. My fiance & I are not comfortable in front of the camera, nor do we have any idea on how to position ourselves. Daryl gave us excellent feedback from the very first photo which helped us relax and take awesome photos! Sometimes he would pause to show us our photos in real-time, which would allow us to modify our positioning & take even better photos.
With his direction, we were able to relax & have fun while improving the quality of our photos. I can't wait to see how our wedding photos come out, 10/10 would recommend! -

Engagement Pictures Take at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa
My experience with Daryl Hawk, Owner of White Mountain Wedding Photography, has been nothing short of excellent. The moment my finance' and I met him, he made us feel very comfortable and put us right as ease while taking our Engagement Photos. He is professional, courteous and returns phone calls and/or emails quickly. We liked the views he envisioned when taking photos and the images he captured for us for our first pictures. When creating our "Save the Date" card, we used a few of his photos and we couldn't be happier. We already looking forward to viewing our future wedding photos. Thank you Daryl Hawk! -

We decided to do a first look session for our wedding day. Daryl was very flexible with going to 3+ locations to take photos of our wedding party. He ensured that prior to our wedding that he had a list of the most important pictures that we wanted. We were promptly provided a USB with all of our pictures shortly after the wedding. Overall great experience! -

To All Future Couples Beware
I hired White Mountain Wedding Photography, for 2 reasons. 1st reason being his website made it sound as if you were hiring the owner himself and his 30 years of experience. Afterall, he did take my daughter's engagement photos, where he asked her to give him a 5-star rating for discount on her engagement package. This probably should have been a RED FLAG. Unfortunately, I missed it. Another RED FLAG he expected payment in full before we ever saw the end product. You have no recourse if you are dissatisfied. The pictures on the website were impressive. We had hope he would capture the memories of my daughter's wedding day that she would cherish for a lifetime. 2nd reason his business location proximity to the wedding. After we reviewed the memory stick several times, I felt nothing, but heart broken and saddened for my daughter. I could see the disappointment on her face. Out of 1200 or so photos only 34 of which were in focus, this is a 2.83% satisfactory score out of 100% in my opinion. We picked 39 more pictures that were less than good, but better than the rest. 97.17% of the photos were blurry, fuzzy, out of focus and poorly angled. There was NO WOW factor to any of the photos. No Creativity. 1 of the 2 Photographers was not a professional (Kathleen), by the lack of quality. The 2nd photographer was a last-minute tag in due to the scheduled photographer being sick with Covid (Cheyenne) did a better job than (Kathleen) who was the main photographer for the day. As for the videographer (Christine) we saw the backs of people more than we should have. It would have been appreciated if she could have repositioned herself and the camera periodically. The video was shaky and poor quality. The first 10-15 minutes of the video is nice. Out of several hours that percentage isn't great. They were hired to work unlimited hours. But they left before the last dance.
Word of advice NEVER pay in full until you receive your finished product with 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
We can never go back to recapture the memories of the day. When pay as much money as we did, we expected to be 100% satisfied. Needless to say, 2.83% is not satisfactory and is
completely unacceptable.
I would like to help a bride and her family hear our experience, check out White Mountain Wedding Photography reviews on the Knot as well as Wedding Wire. Sure, it's easy to look at al the positive ones, but after my experience I went and read the negative reviews and it was as if we had almost experienced the same nightmare. Take the time to be more informed by read both the positive and negative reviews. If you are able to reach out to the person with the negative experience to confirm then do so. Most times the companies pull down the negative reviews. -

Left an hour early and the pictures weren’t even that good. Very rude and tried to tell me how to run my own wedding. Says the angagment shoot comes with our package but then tried to charge us over $400 just to receive the photos from that shoot. When I expressed my concern and how unhappy I was before the wedding even happened, he told me oh well and that I might as well use his services because I wasn’t getting my money back. Definitely don’t recommend. Not worth the money he charges you.
