Could not have done it without her!

Christina was amazing! I was planning a small wedding on Hydra and thought I could do it myself. I quickly realized that the stress of planning a wedding an ocean away in a language I don't speak was causing me more stress than I needed. I found Christina, told her what I wanted, and within a day she had wonderful suggestions for me within my budget that I never could have found on my own. My stress level immediately dropped and planning my wedding became exciting again! Christina made it extremely easy to create our dream wedding and bring it to fruition. The day was perfect and I'm extremely grateful for her help and expertise!

Wedding Planner Extraordinaire!

Christina was a joy to work with from beginning to end. She is such a nice person and a true professional and expert on Hydra weddings. She was so helpful in any decision we made and very prompt in responding to any queries we had, providing expert and experienced advice all the way through. She has great style and really took time to ensure the entire process was stress free and enjoyable. We would strongly recommend her as a wedding (or events) planner. She is well known and clearly liked by the best vendors and is super organised. We could not have had such an amazing time without her brilliant support and expertise as well as her humour and understanding at all times. Our guests and families loved the entire weekend as much as we did - what more could we ask for?! We are looking forward to seeing Christina again when next on Hydra! :)

Outstanding attention to detail and real insider knowledge

Christina was our guiding light through the planning (and Covid rescheduling) of our wedding. We knew the island well, but Christina’s value was helping us with negotiations and all the detailed considerations we would never have thought about. Ours was a three day wedding weekend with lots of logistics and four different venues. At every stage Christina made all the best suggestions and had a solution ready for every challenge. Totally brilliant; super responsive and lovely to deal with. She knows everyone and everything and is the key to a successful event on the island.

Absolutely wonderful!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Christina. She made me and my husband's vision for our wedding a reality and ensured it truly reflected who we are as a couple. I can honestly say there isn't one thing I would change about our wedding, from the planning process to the day itself. My husband and I travel quite a bit for work, which limited the time we had available for planning. Christina was super flexible, incredibly organized, easy to communicate with, and always worked to try to get us the best deal possible. The vendors she recommended were also top-notch, and just as professional.

Everything was in order by the time we arrived on the island, which allowed us to unwind and spend precious time with our family and friends ahead of the big day. It was truly a stress-free experience!

Christina - we can't thank you enough. You've helped to create incredible memories that we, and or family and friends will cherish for a very long time.

Could not have done it without her!!

When myself and my partner decided to get married on Hydra, the task seemed daunting! Being Irish, we didn't know where to start...that is until friends of ours recommended Christina. From the very start she was there for us every single step of the way, her professionalism and attention to detail was incredible. She answered all of our questions almost immediately & made some fantastic cost saving and creative recommendations. Our wedding was the best experience of our lives, and a number of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I can honestly say that none of it would have been possible without Christina. Hiring her as our wedding planner was the best decision we made - everything was perfect, and any new bride & groom would be very lucky to have her!

Words can’t express how happy my husband and I are in our decision to work with Christina for our wedding in Hydra, and we highly recommend her. Initially, we had many hesitations and concerns, as the wedding was planned remotely and we had never been to the venues or met Christina (other than on our Skype calls). Christina's high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge of Hydra helped soothed our reservations, and were extremely instrumental in us planning our dream wedding. The results far exceeded anything we had ever hoped for. She took the time to completely understand our vision, which allowed her to provide the perfect recommendations for the church, reception, photographer, florist, bridal salon, etc. She was accommodating and extremely easy to work with, and ensured that every detail, big and small, was accounted for. My husband and I are extremely grateful to Christina and everything she did!

Christina was very helpful and did everything to understand perfectly what were our desires. She is very flexible, knows perfectly Hydra and has developped a strong network of reliable partners. We had nothing to think about during the week we spent at Hydra with our guests, she and her partners managed all very well. It was the best week wedding ever!!

Planning a wedding from miles away, on an island and country you have never set foot, is a hard task. We had a religious wedding and baptized our child on Hydra and our reception took place at the Sunset restaurant in September 2017. Christina was our eyes and ears on site, helping us planning the events months prior to our arrival. She grew up on the island and has experience in wedding planning, therefore she was the best person to guide us. She gave us all the selections of churchs, reception venues, brunch possibilities, photographers, flowers arrangements, accommodation for guests, musician, makeup, hairstyling, fireworks, etc. We made requests for table arrangements, bouquets and candles by sending her pictures. The results were identical to what we have sent her. She is very professional, responsable and reliable. We do recommend the services of a wedding planner if you are planning a wedding from abroad. Our guests and our family were very much satisfied of the celebrations Christina helped us organize.

Christina was responsive to my questions, made suggestions which turned out great, and made the entire planning process carefree. Coming from abroad I could never have planned this event on my own. Christina's expertise resulted in a perfect vow renewal ceremony for my wife and I. We were very happy with the venue and the vendor's she selected for the flowers, music and photography ... they were all spot on! Thank you again Christina!

We picked Hydra for our wedding location, but I had no idea how to navigate all the wedding details from where I reside in the US. I was so very fortunate to use White & thereby Christina for my wedding planner. There was no request large or small that she did not gladly handle. She quickly responded to emails, was very professional & made suggestions when I needed assistance. Every detail of our wedding was wonderful & I have Christina to thank for making that happen. Thank you Christina for making our special event a reality!!

Christina is simply perfect! We decided to get married in Hydra and had a lot of trouble to get in touch with the right people. It was frustrating and we almost decided to abandon the idea since we met Christina. She knows what the possible venues are and will help you in everything. Whit her all our problems were solved in a second, from the prewedding party to the ceremony itself from the florist to the menu. Every single detail was discussed together and finalized by e-mail. She is very organized and reactive and most of all she is always available.
She is super, go for her!! :)

Christina was much more than a Wedding planner. She was a welcoming host and made us feel at home from day 1. She turned all of our wishes and a few impossible demands into reality in no time. She took care of all the deals and details and was extremely flexible. She is a genuinely unique person and gets so involved in the process that it even shows in our wedding pictures how moved and emotional she was during the process. My wife and I now consider Christina a true friend, and we can't wait to go back to Hydra to meet her again. Highly advisable if you are planning your wedding in Hydra!

Without Christinas ideas, help and knowledge of hydra island it would have been impossible to organise our Wedding.
She is very flexible and relaxed, has everything in mind and reminded us of things we never thought of before.
We had 5 locations during the two days of our wedding and she appeared at each of them to check wether everything is alright or not.
Because she knows all the people on the island, she discussed discounts for us.
Everyone has different ideas of a perfect wedding, but she easily adapted to our Plans and wishes and helped to fulfill our perfect day!
We are very thankful for everything she did and we highly recommend her and hydra Island for celebrating an unforgetable Wedding!

Our wedding was PERFECT, thanks to Christina. Since we live in Lebanon, it is her who helped us prepare our wedding in Hydra, Greece. Christina is a kind, loving, funny, professional, trustworthy and very well organized person. We trusted her in everything and she ensured we had what we asked for and that we were being charged a fair price for everything. She was always listening to our needs and doing her best to meet them. She simply can do everything !!!

Christina was always very helpful and friendly! We had some problems with our documentation which she solved perfectly. In retrospective it would have been great if we had visited the venue together before the ceremony. The table were in a setting that we did not appreciate, when we asked the owner of the venue to redo the setting (we were a small party of 15) he was not at all helpful.

A mixed experience

Christina is extremely knowledgeable about the island and very flexible when plans need to change (we had last minute high winds that meant all boats were cancelled and we had to switch ceremony venues). She put in a huge amount of work to salvage the day and for that we are so grateful.

With that in mind, if you are going to work with Christina I’d be aware of a few things:

-We booked a three day package with her. On the 3rd day we arrived at the venue and they had no record of our reservation. We had to negotiate a solution with the venue ourselves with 60 guests in tow.

-Communication was usually stressful and she resisted phone calls to help clarify things.

-The day itself was not run smoothly. Our photographers and our MCs both said that they were unable to get answers on the run times. We had arranged for cocktails to be served before dinner but when we arrived at the reception venue an hour after our guests the cocktails had not been served and Christina refused to address the issue herself. The venue was not set up as agreed and we were running candles and moving tables ourselves because she would not address the issue when we raised it. Obviously she was dealing with a lot due to the weather but it made the day extremely stressful for us.

She left early because she was stressed.

When we raised these issues with her after the wedding she denied that they had taken place.
