Whispering Oaks was fantastic. Jessica was incredible the entire time. I had so many questions and she answered every single one as they came and never made me feel like I was being a burden - I had A LOT of questions.... The venue itself is so beautiful. It's landscape feels like Texas. When we toured, it felt like a slice of heaven. When the wedding day came, it was confirmed - slice of heaven. We couldn't have asked for a better crew to help us realize our dreams. This venue and its team were absolutely incredible! The venue itself is breathtaking and also very well kept. I couldn't have asked for a better environment for our special day. On top of that, the owner Jessica and her team are absolutely wonderful and so very helpful. I highly recommend this venue to any bride who is looking for an affordable, yet stunning and welcoming venue. I absolutely loved getting married at this stunning venue.

This venue is gorgeous! I was part of the wedding party, and I was so glad the bride chose this venue to have her reception at! Even though Whispering Oaks is in the country, I still had good cell reception (which was surprising to me since that usually isn’t the case in the country). When we all went out to see off the newlyweds, the path was well lit, and I didn’t feel the need at all to use my phone’s flashlight (which is nice and bright, and would have easily illuminated everything I needed to see). All in all, I can’t think of any constructive criticism to give to this place; everything was beautiful, and I would definitely consider having my own wedding here (someday).

This venue is by far the most stunning and beautiful venue I have ever been to. Jessica makes sure that the grounds and the ceremony/reception sites are always clean and ready for the next bride's special day. My husband and I loved working with her. She is responsive, kind, and has a huge heart for every couple that comes to her venue. If you are looking for a breathtaking venue this is absolutely the place you should book!

Jessica has the most beautiful venue. We did not have to do too much decorating because this place has so much natural beauty. We only toured one place and we fell in love. The venue is beautiful, but what really sold us was Jessica. Her enthusiasm and knowledge made us feel so comfortable. When it came time for the wedding, Jessica was kind, generous, helpful, she even answered my phone call at 6:30am! She really helped make our wedding day so special, we could not thank her enough. We are and will continue to be so grateful for her and Darren, they are truly wonderful people.

We are having our wedding here on 02/29/2020, and Jessica is amazing. I’ve read great reviews on her so far and I can’t wait to see what’s in store. The barn is gorgeous and has lots of space.

I could go on forever about how much I loved Whispering Oaks and Jessica! Everything was beautiful and ran so smoothly, it really was my dream wedding. Jessica and the entire staff made sure everything was perfect and that we and our families had a unforgettable day. I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. My husband Aaron and I were married at Whispering Oaks on 11/17/19. Our wedding day, start to finish, was more beautiful than we ever dreamed possible and it all started with Jessica Dixon, the owner of Whispering Oaks. Since our engagement in the summer of 2018, Aaron and I had our hearts set on a Texas country barn wedding surrounded by all of our loved ones. We started our venue search in January of 2019 and on the first weekend of our search we were turned away by a country/barn venue that was at the top of our list. It was a stunning barn with excellent reviews. However, the venue owner told us in a private email that our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and that he would not host us at this venue. It was a devastating start to what should have been one of the happiest times in our lives. We began to question whether a Texas country wedding would even be a possibility for us. We were not prepared to come out again to each and every vendor we would need for our wedding and decided to put our plans on hold to consider our options. Long story short, our story got out and Jessica heard about it. She contacted us within days of the story being on the news. She felt terrible about what had happened to us and she wanted to make it right. She invited us up to tour Whispering Oaks and offered to host our wedding for free any day that was open on her calendar. We were blown away. We will never forget the day that we visited Whispering Oaks for the first time. It was literally love at first sight. From the parking lot you stroll through this serene grove of trees which opens up to this beautiful outdoor ceremony site and then you continue along the path across the bridge and around the bend towards the big reveal; that gorgeous barn with the adjacent firepit and patio. It is completely isolated and so peaceful. You don't see anything from the parking lot and you don't see the parking lot from the ceremony site or barn. It was even more beautiful than the venue that turned us down. Jessica met us at the barn with a big welcoming hug and we knew right then that this was where we wanted to get married. Fast forward to November and we could not have hoped for a more beautiful wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception and everything was absolutely perfect. The ceremony was everything we had hoped for; the quiet, peaceful sounds of nature carrying the melodies from that lovely string quartet up towards that stunning fall backdrop. And, the barn itself, transformed into one of the most beautiful reception spaces that we have ever seen. Jessica was the first one there, bright and early in the morning as she is for all of her weddings (she attends them all), despite the fact that she was up late with the wedding from the previous day. Other than the happy couple, I don't think anyone wants the wedding day to be more perfect than Jessica. She ran around the whole day setting things up and tearing things down and making sure everything was perfect. She did this for us, complete strangers, without the expectation of getting paid, because she wanted to take a stand for equality and make our day perfect. Just like her venue, Jessica is such a beautiful person, and if it is important to you to support small, local businesses that truly embrace inclusion, equality and love for everyone, please check out Whispering Oaks. You will not regret it!

We knew Whispering Oaks was our wedding venue as soon as we walked down the pathway of the venue to the ceremony site and then across the beautiful bridge and to the reception barn on our venue tour. We toured other barn venues but this one blew the others out of the water. The owner, Jessica, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and down to earth from the first day we met her to the day of the wedding! The planning process was smooth with her answering any questions I had about the small details, and she was always giving me her tips and ideas from her experience with weddings, which I greatly appreciated. Even on the day of the wedding, when it started raining right before the outdoor ceremony was supposed to start, Jessica updated the guests, instructed them inside, and organized the ceremony to be in the barn with the barn doors open to the beautiful oak tree scenery and light rain in the backdrop. The day was perfect and I am very thankful for Jessica’s organization and help, and for the beautiful venue our wedding was in! Would recommend this venue to everyone.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. Jessica is very accommodating and is there in the background throughout your whole wedding to make sure everything goes smoothly. She had everything you forgot available right there. Whispering Oaks is like being in your own mystical forest, the perfect setting to let love grow!

Jessica, the venue owner, is amazing. She’s friendly, she thought of things the week of that hadn’t even crossed my mind, she let us set up how we wanted, and her venue is absolutely beautiful. I can’t recommend Whispering Oaks enough. We had to move our wedding inside, due to inclement weather the week of the wedding, and Jessica was so helpful, supportive, and accommodating. She hired our security and bartender and both were just as friendly and awesome. Jessica really works with her brides to provide flexible payment plans and make their dreams come true. This venue had everything I wanted and more. I love that they do only one wedding per day and you get to choose your own vendors and have the place to your self. The bridal party and grooms party can get ready there so you get more for your money.
I got married in early March so the leaves hadn't grown back on the trees yet and you could hear gun shots during the ceremony which caused me to jump a lot. It made for a very memorable ceremony and the officiant who happened to be my grandpa played it in very well.
Overall everything was beautiful and the venue is gorgeous and it's only getting better since it's new and getting improvements as time goes on.

Every single aspect of Whisping Oaks is magical and unique. There isn’t another venue that comes close to this elegantly rustic venue! It includes an enchanting grove, wooden bridges that are reminiscent of a fairytale and an exquisite landscape which surrounds a breathtakingly beautiful barn! The interior will take your breath away! Not only is the aesthetic incredible, but the staff and owners are truly kind, professional and passionate!! If you want an unforgettable wedding in a setting that is more of an experience than a venue..this is the dream venue for you!!

We could not have chosen a better venue to host our wedding. The actual building itself is absolutely stunning, and the grounds around it are just perfect as well. It's a quaint little barn in the middle of the woods, and it really feels like you are taken away from the real world and put in a fairy tale. Aside from the gorgeous accommodations, the staff were probably the nicest people I have ever met in my life. They were all incredibly helpful and kind and wanted to make sure our day went exactly as we wanted it to. I could not recommend them enough!
