Diane was the sweetest, calmest, and most professional florist we’ve ever worked with. We actually hired her and her company very late in the process — only about two months before our wedding — after having some hiccups with another floral company. From the moment we met her, Diane put us completely at ease and assured us that everything would be perfect… and she absolutely delivered!
The floral arrangements, bouquets, and décor she created were beyond anything we could have imagined. The flowers were full, vibrant, and absolutely breathtaking — my mouth literally dropped when I saw them for the first time. The colors were stunning and perfectly matched our vision. Every single detail was done with so much care and artistry. Oh, and did I mention how beautiful our flowers smelled??? Breathtaking ✨
Diane truly came through for us and exceeded every expectation. We are so grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and incredible talent. If you’re looking for the most beautiful wedding flowers and someone who genuinely cares about your day, Diane and her company are the ones to call! -

Beautiful florals and an amazing florist
Exceeded my expectations! I contacted Whimsey Florals on short notice as my original florist had canceled on me. Diane was quick with responses, professional and overall wonderful. I sent over some pictures of inspiration and she provided the most beautiful flowers. We got so many compliments throughout the night. They really brightened up our venue. Thank you so much Diane! We will keep you in mind for any future floral needs! -

Stunning florals!
I first found Diane a year prior to our wedding and instantly loved her after a phone call to discuss details. I am so glad the first florist I spoke with left a bad taste in my mouth because I found Diane!
We had a slight mishap with missing vases but Diane went to hobby lobby and sent me tons of photos so she could replace the ones that went MIA, it is now a funny thought about it. She really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything she provided.
I had a vision of jewel tones and she fully delivered, every single person at our wedding said how beautiful our flowers were and how they tied everything together. I would highly recommend Whimsey floral to any bride looking! -

I gave Diane a very vague idea of what we wanted for florals for our wedding at Orfila Winery and she came up with the most beautiful floral decorations, gold frames and floating candles I have ever seen. I have already recommended her to all of my friends getting married in San Diego! Everything about working with Diane was absolutely perfect. -

I can't say enough about Diane at Whimsey Florals. I knew from our first calls that she was listening carefully to my vision; she had such a deep knowledge of flowers. We went through Pinterest boards and she could name every stem. She gave great advice about what would be in season, what would stay hardy throughout the wedding day, how to meet our budget goals, and what to avoid. The terrariums she made for us were out of this world. Our guests could not stop commenting. I knew she'd "get it right," but I couldn't believe until I got to my venue how much she'd went above and beyond. I could look at the florals forever. My bouquet was perfect. I could not be happier. Planning a wedding out of state was difficult but Diane made it very easy for us! She did an amazing job with every little detail. I sent her images of what I wanted, and she did just that. She was very knowledgeable about what would look great and did such an amazing job. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a florist!!

The corsages and boutonnieres were elegant, the bridesmaid’s bouquets were absolutely gorgeous, my bouquet was so beautiful, the ceremony flowers were perfect and the reception was just gorgeous. The arrangements were absolutely stunning and really helped to bring everything together in the ballroom. Diane was so easy to work with. She and I met a few times to go over everything and she offered excellent advice on seasonal beautiful flowers in my budget. She also had great ideas for our centerpieces and was so thrilled with how everything turned out. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, a day that will forever be special, and Whimsey Florals was a huge part of that beauty. We were so glad they were a part of our day! -

Kristen Sent on 12/07/2011Diane was recommended to me by my wedding planner (Behind the Bride) and she was AMAZING! I originally contacted Diane via email and sent her pictures of what I envisioned for our flowers. She was quick with responses (more than I can say for some of the others I had contacted) and detailed out everything in her proposal. When I was in town she met with my mom and I to discuss all the components and make sure we were all on the same page. She was so great to work with and really understood what we wanted to do, which was a little unconventional.
Best of all, the week of the wedding Diane kept me in the loop regarding the flowers and when she couldn't get what we had discussed based on availability, she made two versions of each of my girl's bouquets so I would be happy.
Everything was gorgeous and I have Diane to thank. -

I was so happy with the designs Diane did for our wedding arrangements. She was fantastic to work with and really guided me in the process, she even met me at the Flower Mart in Carlsbad to look at flowers together, it was great working with her from beginning to end and she is just such a nice person and will really spend the time to design something beautiful for your wedding. She's also more affordable (and I think her work is better!) than some of the big name, $$$ San Diego wedding florists. You will not be sorry working with Whimsey Floral. -

Denise Sent on 12/06/2016Diane is amazing. She recommended the manzanita branches as a centerpiece and I had never seen them before. I never saw a mock up of my specific centerpieces in person. I saw what the branches looked like, but I'm a very visual person so when we were putting things together, I was a little weary. I had nothing to worry about they looked absolutely amazing! There was a slight bump in the road because I wanted Dahlias as my centerpieces, but I guess due to the dry weather the inventory was low. Diane immediately contacted me and gave me alternatives and even went to the flower market so that she could send me a picture of what the replacement flowers would look like. She responded to every email I sent her very promptly. Highly recommend
