Look no further!
WHIM provided the sperry sailcloth tent for my outdoor wedding reception, a clear structured tent for my wedding ceremony, all our chairs, tables, stage, table cloths, and the most beautiful circular bar. The staff was so helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and had a large variety of rentals to choose from. Our wedding day was a dream thanks to WHIM. -

Whim is the best!
Everything with Whim went great! They had a great selection they have a showroom to look at everything before selecting it. Bre was very quick to respond and awesome to work with. There was a miscommunication about the date(my fault) and Bre handled everything and it wasn't a problem at all! Delivery, set-up, and pick-up also went smoothly. I'd definitely recommend them! -

Thank you, Whim!
We hired Whim for catering and bartending at our wedding and we couldn't be happier with them. Courtney and her team were so great to work with and helpful throughout the entire process. All of the food was so delicious and we were so happy with how the catering turned out. Wedding planning is stressful enough and then the pandemic hit and we had to reschedule our wedding. They were so accomodating and easy to work with as we not only had to change our date but make changes to ensure everyone's safety. Courtney and the Whim team put my mind at ease and I didn't have to worry about a single thing the day of because I knew they knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend working with them! Beautiful rentals for our dream wedding!
We hired Whim to supply our event rentals, including dish ware, glasses, linens, and farmhouse tables. We were able to visit the showroom where we got to mix and match linens and dishes to find the exact look we wanted. The Whim team was helpful throughout the whole process and when it came to wedding day, everything was seamless! -

Great food + service!
Whim recently catered our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. Not only was the food delicious (we were getting rave reviews from all of our guests), but the servers and staff went above and beyond. Courtney was great throughout the planning process, and would highly recommend using this team for your wedding! -

Wedding Rentals
Whom was amazing! They delivered everything that I needed the day before the wedding and came to pick it all up the next day. They were very easy to work with. We did everything by email, and they responded in a timely manner each time. They were also very patient with me, as I am very indecisive! -

Beautiful Rentals
I got married and Camp Lucy Sacred Oaks and Whim hospitality made all my rental dreams come true. Everything was even better than what I envisioned! So many guests complimented the venue and decor. I even had multiple people ask me about having a family member have their wedding at Camp Lucy with similar rentals! I could not be more happy with the way everything turned out. I can't wait to see pictures! -

One stop shop
Between their catering department, table setting and tents, all divisions we worked with were wonderful! Honest, communicative, budget friendly and thoughtful. We couldn't decide on a tent just in case for rain and the tents division let us extend our decision to get one or not so he could save us money. Truly a great team. -

I loved my experience with Whim. I was super into the Chameleon chairs they have, which is the main reason I decided to go with them. At my final design meeting at their office Jennifer had a table setup exactly how it’d be set up at my wedding! She even switched different linens for me 3 times! I’m a wedding planner in Austin, so I’ve worked with several rental companies before. Jennifer Anthony is the first manager/sales person I’ve ever seen show up at the venue the day of the wedding. It’s almost always just the delivery drivers/set up crew, so I was very impressed by this. She is so easy to get along with, and was very accommodating throughout the entire process. We were also trying to dodge the rain on our wedding day, and just days before the wedding I was back and forth with her trying to figure out what the latest time possible would be for them to deliver. This was a moment I started to feel a little bit of bridezilla come on, but Jennifer continued to work with me so easily. 5 star employee, 5 star company. Thanks for everything guys, I’m so happy with it all! -

I could not have been happier with my experience working with the Whim teams! The Florals department worked extra hard to find the flowers & greenery that I wanted for my bouquet, and their Rentals team had linens custom-made so that they would fit perfectly on the guest tables. Everything was just phenomenal! -

We used Whim Hospitality for our reception decor and they were responsible for our beautiful table settings! They provided such wonderful service and offered to order items for me if they didn't have them in stock. Their selection pulled our elegant bohemian reception look together and I am just obsessed with my detail photos from the wedding. Thank you so much! -

We absolutely loved working with Whim Hospitality! Having all of our vendors able to work together with our venue was a huge time saver and convenience, and they were able to give us the most perfectly beautiful day! We couldn't have hoped for more. Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with, and they were lal patient and helpful as we designed our perfect day. The details in the florals were perfect and beautiful, the rentals met our needs perfectly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We couldn't have chosen better! Our guests continue to tell us what a beautiful day it was and how wonderful the food was, and we couldn't agree more!! -

I was talking to many tent vendors for an Austin wedding. The wedding was taking place on New Year's Eve and the tent was attached to the South Congress Hotel. I wanted to make sure that both the ballroom and the tent were protected from cold, rain, and wind. The other tent vendors when they finally understood what I wanted to do withdrew from participating, they said that could not meet my expectations. Not, Laura Campbell, at Whim Hospitality. She worked hard to brainstorm how this could work and came up with the perfect solution to protect us. We ended up having unexpectedly beautiful weather of 75 degrees and even though we had planned for the worst, she recognized that we no longer needed the heating, the operator for the heating, and the exit doors and refunded me immediately. We had a clear tent with bistro lights and garlands of greenery in the roof of the tent. We used the tent for the ceremony and than had it flipped to dinner tables and a bar. The tent looked spectacular and looked like a custom tent for the space. I love Whim Hospitality. Here is a company that is not afraid of solving problems and they solve them with no drama. It is a very ethical, reliable, and creative company. -

I LOVED working with Whim! I personally worked with Alyssa Lytle for my floral designs and she delivered! She took her time to completely understand my vision from what I told her and shared with her on Pinterest and recreated it in real life! My husband and I, along with our guests, were blown away with how magical, bohemian, whimsical and romantic the floral and greenery were from the arch to the bouquets and table scape. It was a pleasure to work along with Alyssa and the rest of the Whim staff and I'm so thankful we chose them! -

I got married at Camp Lucy, and it would not have been the same without all of Whim's services. All of the staff (bartenders, servers, management, coordinators, chef, florists, rentals, etc). were professional, enjoyable, organized, and above and beyond. The catering was the best catering I could have chosen. Lauren with catering made the whole process enjoyable. The hors d'ouerves were incredible and the dinner was excellent! The plated salads before the dinner buffet was an excellent touch to keep your guests impressed and happy. Alyssa with florals truly captured the image I created in my head and made it even more than I could have imagined. The peonies she used in my bouquet were absolutely incredible. I chose all white flowers with greenery for my wedding, and not a single flower had any brown on it or looked wilted (which is very easy with white). Alyssa and the rest of florals did an amazing job. Our tall arrangements were so elegant and looked better than any picture I could find. Luke Johnston with rentals was amazing at helping me decide which items to choose. He offered suggestions that I wouldn't have even considered, but made the whole space tie together beautifully. Even billing and management was an organized and simple process making it pleasant and stress-free, especially our on-site manager Sabrina Read. Also, I cannot praise Kristen White enough for her outstanding job providing day of coordination. Not only did she make sure everything and everyone was on the same page, but she also contacted all of my vendors a month before the wedding to make sure that things were in order. She did WAY more than a typical day of coordinator, and without her, my day would not have been the same. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the wedding was, and I can only thank Whim for that!! -

Our coordinator worked with us directly for all of our rentals so I did not work with anyone directly. When we visited the showroom, it was great to be able to set up mock tables by using their dishes. silverware, linens, etc. We made some last minute changes to our proposal a few weeks prior to our event and they seemed very quick to updates. They have a nice selection of dishes, silverware, tables, chairs, etc.. and we were able to select exactly what we were wanting. I personally think the cost was a little high because every item was À la carte but in the end that could be beneficial to those who only need a few pieces and not entire sets. We selected a large dinner plate, water glasses, iced tea glasses, forks, knives, table linens, and ottomans. We decided to bring our own plastic cake plates and plastic forks for the cake table to save $. We were very satisfied for the items we rented. -

I really can't say enough about how happy we were with all of our florals and candles Whim provided for our April wedding. I worked with Alyssa and had a pretty specific vision of what I was wanting, and she saw that vision from the very beginning and worked well within our budget to make it happen! We honestly did not have to do much because Camp Lucy Sacred Oaks is the most beautiful venue as-is, but the outdoor arch was just the most amazing thing. It was breathtaking and I literally teared up when I saw it. During the ceremony, I was distracted at one point because I looked up and there were three monarch butterflies fluttering around the flowers and I swore I was in a dream.
The bridesmaids bouquets, the grandma/mom's flowers, the centerpieces, the candles, the twinkly lights, the candelabras, the boutonnieres, and the special arrangement to honor loved ones who had passed - everything was perfect and we received so many compliments. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and the staff was a joy to work with. -

Whim Event Rentals took care of every detail for our wedding at Camp Lucy. Meeting with their employees made us feel like we picked the perfect place for our linens and dishes. Their location had so many options on display and allowed us to mix and match to make sure we knew what we wanted. The linens and plate chargers were beautiful details for the reception. I changed the linens for cocktail hour about a week before, no problem. Everyone who helped with our big day did a great job. My emails were answered daily and everything was prepared before we even arrived. Whim Rentals employees are very helpful and friendly. They took my vision and made it even more than I could ask for! We cannot thank y'all enough! -

Whim was super easy to work with. My fiance and I went in, looked around, and then were helped by their staff who took notes on what we were needing and wanting. They then sent me the rental form with everything we wanted listed with the pricing. As we got closer to the day, we were able to change the order as needed. They delivered everything earlier than said (which was great!) and it was exactly what we wanted! -

We rented a Sperry Tent from Whim for our ranch wedding last month. Whim was great to work with from the start, and Clay specifically, was very honest and helpful. He met us at the site (over 3 hours away), helped us pick a flooring option, and kept it within our budget. They were wonderful to work with and would recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful tent! -

Whim Florals did a fantastic job on the floral decor and arrangements set up for our wedding day!! I couldn't have asked for a better floral company to work with. Kari at Whim is my hero!! She was extremely flexible, honest, creative, caring and amazing at her job! Picking out the entire theme of your wedding can become stressful but in working with Kari & her team they put me at ease in knowing everything was going to turn out absolutely beautiful- and it did!! With that said, they were extremely knowledgable about what specific flowers to choose for the season. We got married at Camp Lucy-Ian's Chapel and what a blessing that was too to have the florist on site! I would highly recommend Whim Florals for ANY occasion!! You're going to love the outcome! :) -

I had my tables, chairs and a few wine barrels rented through them. They were super sweet on the phone, let me adjust my numbers up to 2 weeks out and even mailed back linens that our helpers gave them that didn't belong to them. Would rent from them again! -

Working with Luke at Whim was great! He was very helpful and responsive and even took pictures and sent them to me personally when I wasn't able to visit the store. They have a late pickup fee that is expensive especially since every wedding event is a late pickup if it is a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday but I did enjoy working with them. They are responsive and a great team! -

I had heard wonderful things about Kari through my wedding planner. When she began working at Whim I knew I had to have my flowers from them. Kari is an absolute doll to work with. She is sweet, nice, kind, and professional. I knew exactly what kind of flowers I wanted for my wedding and she was able to work with me to create my vision. She worked with my budget and gave me what I wanted. About a month out I decided to change the whole flower scheme and I went with something completely different and she was able to accommodate us. I went above my budget when I changed flowers, but it was completely worth it. She always responded to my questions in a timely manner and I always enjoyed meeting with her for my flower needs. My guests still talk about my wedding flowers, especially the arch Kari decorated for me. It was ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I stared at the arch so many times throughout the ceremony. We used Whim for our wedding at Camp Lucy. It was very easy to pick out what we wanted and they had a great selection. The showroom allows you to pick out things and put them together so you can actually see what all of your items will look like. We even got some décor for the ceremony site and a margarita machine for the bar through them. -

It was really fun the design all of the rental pieces for our perfect wedding. Everyone was extremely helpful as we made changes throughout the process. Camp Lucy does come with folding fruitwood chairs that match perfectly in the reception hall. But we wanted nicer chairs. We rented the chavari chairs that looked fantastic. I would say that was the only part that seemed pricey when you take into consideration the price per chair then the additional set up and break down fee of the chairs. We still knew that www anted the upgraded look so it was worth it. We also went with a slightly upgraded plate and silverware option which looked great on the table. The room looked amazing. -

We cannot emphasize enough on how we truly appreciate their service during our wedding. Their services exceeded our expectations. They were extremely professional and they even picked up a few signs in American Sign Language, so they could communicate with our guests and us as 98% of our guests are American Sign Language users. They kept checking on us and our wedding party, to ensure that we all were comfortable and satisfied. To put their services in a summary, their services were a PREMIUM. -

Whim has a big showroom in Dripping Springs. where you can pick out everything you need for your event. We chose them because the Chivari chairs were listed cheaper than anywhere else we priced. Just be aware they charge you $2.00/chair set up fee which we did not realize until after we signed the contract. I did not compare to see if other rentals charge a set up fee but make sure when you start doing comparisons. They also had neat lounge furniture which was another major advantage to some of the other vendors we looked at. I was going for a vintage looked and I liked their stuff the most. Everything was delivered on time and was perfect. They also worked with my wedding planner to make sure that we had the correct numbers for glassware, dinnerware, etc. -

The florals at our wedding were gorgeous! I wasn’t really clear on the details of what I wanted, but Siobhan was easy to work with and had creative suggestions for bringing our vision to life. She also was able to incorporate changes right up until the day before and was receptive to taking inspiration from photos that were provided. I do feel that it would be helpful in the future for Whim to be able to better show you examples of full / light coverage or small / large centerpieces associated with pricing. It was difficult during the consultation to imagine height and fullness of the pieces described and often didn’t have pictures readily available that presented scale accurately. Nonetheless, I was really happy with the quality and mix of flowers chosen with only vague direction on my end. Thanks Siobhan! -

Our flowers were beautiful on our wedding day! We didn't have huge centerpieces or a lot of flowers down the aisle, but it was still gorgeous. All the bouquets and boutonnieres had texture to them and were a good size for the cost. The flowers smelt AMAZING and my wedding bouquet last for almost 2 weeks after the wedding still looking pretty great!! Rachel was really nice to work with and did a good job helping me put my vision into words since I was not completely familiar with all the flower options or names.
The only complaint I had was that they tried to up sell a lot and basically told me our tables wouldn't look full enough with what we had ordered. I sort of felt like I was being insulted. But we stuck with what we wanted and it looked just fine! -

This vendor is a bit out of town for an Austin wedding, but they do deliver or allow you to pick up a few days early in order to help out with the timeline. The linens were beautiful and I would strongly recommend them to any couple that wants unique linens for their event (ours had a theme to it, so it was great to get something that matched our vision). -

I would have given Whim rentals 5 stars if my plates had been the right color! But despite this faux pas the end result was beautiful and so was my wedding. I rented chocolate colored napkins for my reception. They were great to work with to get everything set up, since I did decide to do it a bit later than I would have wanted to. Easy pick up and drop off. The only thing I wish is that they had a drop off time on Sunday or could have worked with me since I was from out of town. I ended up having to drive back up (luckily it was only an hour) on Monday to drop the napkins off. -

We have mixed feelings about our experience with Whim florals. Our first meeting was wonderful. We had a very attentive person who walked us through the process, sent us pictures of mocks, and was just very sweet. We told her I was interested in a floral crown instead of a bouquet. I found a picture of a floral crown that was exactly what I wanted, so I emailed it to her. We were then told that she was no longer with the company and this new person would be handling our wedding. We understand people leave for a number of reasons, but we should have been informed of the change when it happened, not just when we reached out. At the end of the day, everything was beautiful. More communication would have been ideal. -

Really nice people and great with ideas, was actually a surprise disappointment. I provided more thank one diagram and met in person and discussed the floor plan and still a few things were out of place. Nothing was ruined by the mistakes, which is why I won't give a fully negative report. Just okay, difficult to work with
[x]Whim did the tent
First, I think Whim did a wonderful job with set up/tear down/working with our planner and venue. We hired them for an outdoor tent in case it rained.
However, we were really frustrated with them, because they changed their permitting policy where we had to apply/fill out the information through the city. They told us about 2 months away from the date, and there was a deadline to get the permit. It just didn't seem like something that we should handle, because the permit application asks for specific measurements and set up of the tent.
Additionally, days away from our wedding we were asked if we would like to change to a tent without a big pole in the middle. Considering that we had a pretty extensive layout that would be under the tent, we said yes. However, it was more expensive to do so.
I just felt like it was pulling teeth to work with these guys regarding logistics. Not to mention they really weren't that responsive, and pretty archaic regarding their payment system. You have to call and give your credit card information over the phone, which is a pain when you and your husband have full time jobs and are just trying to speed through getting things planned.
Use them if you need a tent, otherwise I would shop around for other options. -

We decided to go with Whim Rentals because of their wide variety of chairs, tables, glassware, and linens for rent. Their rentals are nicely maintained and our rentals were delivered and picked-up on time and set-up was done properly when requested.
My problems with Whim Rentals were the additional charges and fees added on top of our rental. Specifically, on top of the basic rental and delivery charge, there was an additional after hours delivery fee of $250 that applied Saturdays after 3pm and on Sundays - which I believe would include many weddings.
There was also a separate set-up fee for tables, chairs, and linens that is added to your bill on a per unit, not time, basis. This resulted in a substantial increase to my original quote. Luckily, I caught this charge and requested no set-up for things like chairs that I was able to ask/hire someone else to do for much cheaper.
Finally, every order has a separate, significant damage waiver. You can opt-out of the damage waiver, but then you are responsible for every broken or damaged rental.
I was unaware of all of these fees and charges when I placed my initial order and I had to go back and ask about each one when I noticed them on my final invoice. I wish Whim Rentals would have discussed them with me at my initial consult. In the end, my final rental bill messed up my wedding budget. These additional fees and charges may be normal for the industry, but if I had known ahead how much extra I would be charged, I would have shopped around more. -

We unfortunately did not have a good experience with Whim Hospitality which included rentals/florals/catering. We selected Camp Lucy as our venue and Whim was the go to provider for many services. We were required to at least get table, chair, and linen rentals through them.
When we told the lead on-site florist what our budget was she laughed at us and said, "It's not possible to do florals for under $1000, you have to spend at least $2000." Knowing our budget, she kept pressuring us to add items we didn't want that were outside our vision, knowing full well it would add to the cost. She was very condescending and not a good listener. Needless to say we did not go with the on-site florist and found one that worked with in our budget and provided florals just as beautiful.
When we met with the cater he was very nice but the pricing was over the top. For a buffet style meal we basically would have been paying for a full service sit down dinner. The food was good but we were not willing to spend almost half our budget on food alone, so we shopped around and found an outside cater that was 1/3 of the cost, and the food was unbelievably good.
We were also pressured to use their bartender services (we were told we had to use them), and the services alone cost more than the alcohol did (you provide the alcohol yourself). We shopped around and found a comparative bartending company and had them make a quote, which was hundreds of dollars less. We took the quote to Whim and said what they wanted to charge was outrageous, and they eventually let us use the outside bartending company.
The day of our wedding we were missing our linen napkins and cake stand, and the tables were arranged incorrectly. Our florist called before we got on site and let us know about the error and alerted our wedding coordinator. Myself and our wedding coordinator sent them the schematics that had very detailed notes, and we already signed and paid for the napkins and cake stand. -

Our experience with Whim was terrible! Initially, it seemed that all was well. We met with Luke a number of times to place our initial order and then to tailor it as we came closer to our wedding date. During our multiple conversations with Whim we repeatedly discussed that our tables were to be set in the tents outside of our venue for lunch and, thereafter, moved inside the venue for the reception. We paid additional fees for this. In addition, Whim was to set up a stage for the wedding and to tear it down and remove it for the reception. We emphasized that this was important because my dad has bad knees and would have difficulty getting on and off the stage during the reception. Despite repeatedly confirming this, on the night before my wedding, while I was on the way to one of our events, we received a call from Whim stating that they would not move the stage for the reception and that we would have to pay an additional $800 to have it moved. This was well out of my budget and I could not afford to pay an additional $800. In addition, the next day, the stage had been set up in the wrong orientation and the tables, that were supposed to have been set up outside, were set up inside the venue. As a result, my dad and a number of our guests had to move the tables outside. I did not know this at the time. I only found out when my dad was not able to walk for a week after the wedding due to incredible pain in his knees. Not to mention the fact that he and became very ill because he was moving these tables in the freezing cold and had not come dressed to my wedding prepared to do this. We were really disappointed with their execution. -
