My favorite vendor!!

Working with the team at Whim was such a pleasure. They are professional, prompt and incredibly creative. They helped put together an incredible event for me and I still fawn over the pictures of the beautiful centerpieces they made for my baby shower as the background on my phone....4 years later!! I highly recommend using them for special events as they are creative geniuses! Love these ladies!

Stunning Flowers

Whim did our flowers and they were absolutely GORGEOUS. They were beyond what we could have ever imagined. Natalie and Moira are so talented. The entire process working with these two ladies was SEAMLESS. They are kind and absolutely a dream to work with. Could not recommend them enough.

I don't know where to begin except to say that our wedding on 9-8-2018 would not have been possible without them. Natalie, Moira, G and everyone at WHIM THANK YOU! We chose a non-traditional wedding venue that requires bringing EVERYTHING from power to bathrooms to every last fork (& bottle of booze!) to the site. I under estimated how difficult this would be and how much planning and organization this requires, but team Whim. While initially you think you might be able to do all of this yourself (as I did- so foolish of me!) they have contacts with vendors you would never have access to and insights into timelines, design and planning beyond your wildest dreams. They went above and beyond for 3 full days of wedding bliss- I never had to worry for a minute because I knew everything was well taken care of and it really allowed me to RELAX and enjoy my wedding. I would recommend whim over and over and over- I wish I could plan another event just to work with them again. They make you feel special, you are not just a client or a number, you feel special and well taken care of (even when I was being bridezilla!) Moira's florals are an absolute DREAM and they give you creative freedom to help design as much or as little as you want. I have been so many many weddings and large events, but their attention to details and ability to create an entire evening from start to finish is unmatched.

Words can not express how appreciative I am for everything that Whim did for our wedding weekend. Hiring Whim was the best decision we ever made!! From the moment our relationship began, Natalie and Moira understood our vision and perfectly executed every single detail. They were responsive, creative, easy to work with and just generally fun-loving, awesome people. The wedding was everything we could of dreamed of and more. They made me feel calm on the big day and I never had to worry about anything falling through the cracks. The small details including parasols, a rose bar, marble accents that they came up with made our wedding so different and special. Moira's floral arrangements were stunning. She even knew how much I loved peonies and saved some all the way until July 7 for my special bouquet!! It is that attention to detail that separates them from other planners. Natalie and Moira have strong relationships with all Boston vendors and made the process incredibly seamless and were extremely easy to work with. Not only that, but they make an effort to get to know their clients and form a personal relationship with them. They truly knocked it out of the ballpark and made our wedding the most perfect day!!!

If you are looking for creativity and soul, hire Whim. I had an unconventional vision and they accepted my challenge with enthusiasm; they crafted an incredible vision and executed with perfection. They used unique flowers, created a beautiful color story, and in turn, truly unified the wedding theme with their floral creations. Most importantly, they were supportive, well organized, and thoroughly pleasant to engage with thoroughly the planning process and on the wedding day.

So, I never write online reviews because I always have something else to do. I can't stand by, though, and let Whim's most recent review be such an outlandish mischaracterization of how wonderful Natalie and Marjorie are.

We started working with Whim almost exactly one year ago. For the ten months leading up to our wedding (end of this past August), Natalie and Marjorie were on top of everything...and I mean everything...to make sure that the day itself was perfect. There are a million things that we would have let slip through the cracks without their attention to detail and ability to give us lots of options from which to make each decision.

And then the day itself. My wife and I can't imagine what it would have been like without Natalie and Marjorie there to make sure that everything went smoothly. Any time my wife or I or any of our guests had questions - where to go, what to do next etc... - they were on top of it with a smile. They truly cared about us and our happiness from the start of planning to the end of our reception.

We now have lifelong memories of a perfect wedding with Natalie and Marjorie making that possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough. As you consider event planners, take to heart this review and Whim's nearly 5.0 review average. Pay no attention to the hatchet job below.

Natalie and Moira were the first florists I visited when looking for a wedding florist. Not knowing anything about flowers and going by myself to that first meeting, I was nervous and had no idea what to expect. Their office near Charlestown was warm and welcoming and Moira and I had the best time brainstorming. Their proposal was by far the most professional of the five others that I received. I used it as a basis to show other florists and they were all floored! And ultimately I chose Whim! Their payment scheduling is flexible and also staggered so you don't feel have to fork over everything at once. The flowers were so so beautiful and they exactly got my vision. I also really appreciated attending two different vendor events (one at Lenox Hotel) and one at Crate & Barrel in Hingham. Whim made me aware of both events and even though I had all my vendors settled, it was a great opportunity to talk again with Natalie and Moira and also think about different things for the wedding. Moira showed me how to make a flower crown for my flower girl! I did it with fake flowers myself (knowing my two-year old niece would destroy it), and I feel like other florists would have just said that I could have paid for one, but with Moira I felt like I had a friend teaching me a new craft! Love these ladies and love their floral creations!

I cannot recommend Nathalie, Marjorie, and Whim Events enough! Our wedding day was absolutely amazing - beyond any of our expectations!

Every element of the day had been planned expertly and every interaction with our vendors taken care of so that we could enjoy ourselves and our guests completely. The wedding day is intense and wonderful so knowing that someone else was monitoring the schedule of the day, the vendors, and making sure all our guests were comfortable allowed us to be carried by that wave of hugs and love!

Nathalie carefully listened to us and understood our vision for the day and helped create the atmosphere we were looking for: beautiful, simple, fun and a bit rustic. It 100% felt like a collaborative effort and that we were able to have this amazing group project as a couple and as a family, with my (bride) mom and dad. Without Nathalie we would have been totally lost and not known where to start!

We worked with Whim for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! Not only did we get exactly what we envisioned, but they were a joy to work with. Their prices were super reasonable and they were incredibly organized starting many months out, with everything clearly itemized and verified with us multiple times before the big day. They even went out of their way to save us some money, and stayed in constant communication with us and the venue, arriving early and making sure everything was figured out well in advance. There's absolutely no reason not to hire them, and if we ever need flowers for a similarly sized event we'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing experience working with Whim Events to plan our June 2017 wedding in Woodstock, VT. Natalie and her team were incredibly professional, detail-oriented, flexible, calm (which made us calm!), and genuinely excited to help us celebrate our marriage. Planning with Natalie felt like working with a good friend. She kept the focus centered around the elements that were important to my husband and me, and helped us create a wedding that represented our favorite things. I can’t count the number of times I said “what would we do without Natalie?!”— her team managed vendor communication (and introduced us to many), developed a detailed timeline, and executed all logistics. Knowing that she had everything under control allowed my husband and I to enjoy our 1.5 year engagement without our wedding taking over our conversations (or lives!). The weeks leading up to the wedding were incredibly calm for my family (no last minute errands!)— Natalie and her team had everything taken care of. It brought peace of mind to be able to enjoy our final few weeks of engagement without a long to-do list or wedding stress, and it was so important to us that our families could enjoy this special time together without worrying about last minute prep. From the moment we arrived in VT, we were able to relax and enjoy the weekend (my husband was thrilled to golf with friends the day before the wedding instead of delivering gift bags!). Natalie worked seamlessly with the venue to design a beautiful space that represented the vision we created together. She even had our favorite drinks waiting for us when we walked into cocktail hour :). If anything went wrong (I’m sure it did, as things always do), my husband and I had no idea because Natalie was there to manage everything! I can’t recommend Whim enough—they were a dream to work with, and will forever be a part of the incredibly meaningful memories of our engagement and wedding.

Natalie and Moira are such a pleasure to work with. Whim Events was the first vendor that we signed with and they really set the tone for our whole experience. The introductory meeting was fun, professional and it was obvious how knowledgable they both were. We used their recommendations to find other vendors and could not be happier. I had a specific vision but I do not know the last thing about florals so I relied heavily on Moira's expertise. It was perfect! Everything was more beautiful than I could have imagined and the support and communication over the 16 months prior to the wedding was stellar. I would recommend these ladies in a heartbeat. My only regret is that I didn't do the full planning package and have their help on more :) Thank you Natalie and Moira!

Natalie and Moira were amazing to work with. We used Whim for our wedding florals and couldn't be happier. We booked them over a year in advance, so by the time our wedding rolled around, our tastes and preferences had changed somewhat from our original proposal. They were totally flexible and happy to adjust based on what we wanted and our final number of guests and tables at the reception. We met them at the Lenox Hotel wedding showcase, met in person once, and had frequent phone calls leading up to the big day. They were fantastic and would definitely book them again for our next event!

Natalie and Moira are a pleasure to work with! They were recommended by our venue, The Lenox, and after meeting with Natalie for the first time, in their beautiful office, we were sold, no need to look at other florists, their vision was on point! One of the more fun parts of working with Whim was visiting the floral market. At this time you get a “live” sense of the types of flowers available and in my situation the correct “pop of pink” that was a happy medium with me and my mom which was replicated perfectly for the wedding day. Every interaction with Natalie and Moira was cheerful, professional, and helpful; we would highly recommend including these ladies as a part of your wedding celebration, they’ll make it beautiful and memorable!

If you want style, elegance, beauty, and two people who truly listen to everything you say (no matter how scatterbrained you are) then, Whim Events is the perfect company for you. I had no idea how to describe in the correct wedding terms what I wanted and Natalie and Moira looked at my pinterest page and just got it. Everything was so beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I wish I had another event coming up so that I could hire them again. I would recommend them over and over. I sent my flower proposal to a friend of mine who is a very successful florist, and she thought that the prices were very reasonable.

Natalie and Moira are true taste makers. Elegant, refined, texture-rich floral centerpieces, swags, vases, garlands, and votives made our ceremony and reception look incredible. The flower market visit and subsequent summary document that Natalie at Whim put together for my husband and I was terrific and gave us a really deep understanding of how everything was going to look on the day of the wedding. Indeed, the final product was breathtaking! Hiring Natalie and Whim Events as our wedding planner was the best decision we have made as a couple so far. With her expertise and enthusiasm for our wedding (all the while working on many other beautiful events), Natalie made our wedding day come alive exactly as we wanted it to.

The women at Whim are absolutely incredible. They were a blast to meet with and were always available for questions and changes. The visit to the flower market with Moira to select the actual blooms that would be used at my wedding was a highlight. I loved all of the bouquets and arrangements that they did. I could not have asked for a better experience with a wedding coordinator and floral team! Natalie, Moira and everyone at Whim is so genuinely kind, helpful and passionate about their jobs. They all have an efficient yet calm/collected and laid back vibe that rubs off on anyone they are around. They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything went smooth on our wedding day of and that the flowers were perfect. They listened to my wishes and desires and created a day that I will remember forever in which I worried about absolutely NOTHING. Not to mention they are just really nice people who are easy to talk to and fun to be around!

Here are a couple more reasons they are awesome:
1) Combined my vision of having weird flowers with some more traditional ones to create florals that looked awesome and felt very "us"
2) They have innovative ideas of how to reuse flowers in order to save $$$
3) The floral market visit as part of their packages is amazing and so much fun, highly recommend so you can see flowers in real life!
3) Natalie is so good at handling difficult vendors and making sure you don't have to worry about that or really anything!
4) Natalie was always checking in to make sure we were taken care of in ways beyond a regular planner (making sure we had eaten before and were calm for the ceremony)

If you are on the fence at all about what coordinator or florist to use or if to use one at all, I highly recommend Whim 1000x over, I am so happy we hired them for the wedding- they were worth every penny.

We were blown away by the service that Natalie and her team at Whim provided. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Natalie took over all communication with our vendors, which was a huge help. In addition to being professional, thoughtful, and graceful under pressure, I truly felt like Natalie was invested in making our event a success. On more than one occassion, she talked the MTB off a ledge, which I appreciated so much. On the day of the wedding, it was so great knowing that all of the details were being taken care of by the Whim team. I cannot say enough positive remarks about Whim. They are simply the best in the business. My father-in-law hired Whim as a wedding gift. My husband and I both have busy careers and travel schedules so having someone to look over the month-of-coordination leading up to the wedding was very helpful. Natalie our wedding planner was professional, helpful and organized throughout the entire process. She also managed a few difficult conversations with vendors with true grace. I truly believe she represented my vision and interest at all times. Beyond this, Natalie and Whim made a point to get to know me - and that personal touch made the difference between wedding planner and partner. Natalie and her team always came to every meeting with a smile and an enthusiasm for planning our special day! From the Google Calendars, email reminders, follow-up summaries they had every 'i' dotted and every 't' crossed. Natalie and Moira were so on top of things throughout the whole process. They even set up a year long Google calendar to help us plan ahead. We had a pretty vague vision for our wedding florals, but they truly brought it to life with their creativity and skill. They were flexible as details changed multiple times and the end result was absolutely stunning- especially our wedding chuppah and of course the centerpieces, which everyone raved about. I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing on the big day for our florals, and everything was perfect. We are so happy we went with Whim!

Where to start? My list about how amazing the WHIMen Natalie and Moira could go on forever. Let me start at the beginning, when I started wedding planning I read how important it was to have a "power team" of vendors, I researched high and low to find the perfect vendors to work with for our big day. My photographer referred me to Whim and I couldn't be more grateful. I met Natalie for the first time at a coffee shop to discuss our wedding vision, I was greeted with a hug, a big smile, and left with clarity, excitement, and confidence in my florist! I even dragged my now husband to this meeting and he had a great time (that says a lot). Shortly after Natalie sent me the most gorgeous inspiration images that exceeded my expectations. A few months go by, I change my vision, they change their board for me, again perfection. At this point I was borderline obsessing to everyone I knew about my florist. As I got a little further into the wedding planning process I realized I was having some trouble balancing the logistics along with my demanding job. Whim stepped in again and we hired them to do our month of coordination. Natalie created the most detailed timeline I have ever seen, she included details I didn't even know I needed to consider. She handled communication with all vendors with grace, charm, and professionalism. She allowed me to enjoy the special time before our wedding rather than being stressed out. On our wedding day both Natalie and Moira were there. I was SO excited to see them, at this point I felt like we were old friends and I was so happy to have them there. They pulled together a beautiful and seamless wedding for my husband and I. They took my vision and turned it into a reality. The flowers and their presentation were stunning. Everything went off without a hitch. All of my other vendors loved them and they were truly a huge part in creating the wedding of my dreams. Thank you Natalie and Moira! My daughter used Whim for the Day of Coordination and Flowers. The Day of was really more like a month of coordination. The end result was that she had an amazing wedding day representing her and her husband's vision, 100%. Their timeline and coordination was invaluable and allowed me, the Mother of the Bride, to enjoy the time leading up to and of course the wedding itself rather than tending to the last minute items. I work full time and was a bit concerned about how I would find the time to do all that planning and to be able to enjoy the wedding if I had to do it all myself. Whim's work, Natalie and Moira, was professional, timely, creative and thoughtful. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what she envisioned. I cannot thank Natalie and Moira enough for all that they did to make my daughters wedding day beautiful. I am truly glad we worked with them and would definitely recommend them for any event.

My husband and I used Whim for flowers at our late November wedding, and we were thrilled!! The Whimen understood my vision and color scheme immediately, and it became a reality! We did the "DIY Plus" package where Whim made the bouquets and ceremony arrangements and the bridesmaids and I got the flowers to make the centerpieces. It worked out so well! We had so much fun putting the centerpieces together the day before the wedding. Plus we saved a bit of money with the DIY part. Natalie and Moira were so accommodating and kind, and Kelsey was so organized with sending email updates and confirmations leading up the big day. Do yourself a favor and hire Whim for your wedding!!

My husband and I used Natalie and her fabulous team of "Whimen" for our wedding planners and were thrilled with how they helped us to navigate through the planning stages. We set up 5 consultation visits throughout our 9 month engagement, going over specific details at each meeting. What was most helpful was that Natalie kept me organized and focused and made sure that I was not worrying about every detail all at once, but rather only concentrating on specific items during each time frame. Usually we met every 6 weeks or so, and during the time in between, Natalie would give me tasks to complete and it was so great to go back to her at the next meeting and show her all that I had checked off the list. Natalie and her team also made sure that we stayed on budget, which was a big deal to us and gave us numerous suggestions for ways to keep costs down and who to look for when it came to vendors or bridal gifts, etc. We cannot thank the Whim team for helping to make our wedding day the success that it was. Without working side by side with them, I know that it would not have been as smooth as process as it was, and I would highly recommend them to any bride and groom who needs someone to keep them on their toes and organized!

We were first introduced to Whim through their Wedding 101 Workshop - definitely a great way to get introduced to wedding planning! They gave us so many great tips and advice on what to expect as we navigated our wedding planning journey. From there we were lucky enough to have them create a design board for us which was so much fun! Natalie is so warm and creative - a real pleasure to work with! We hired Whim to do the flowers for our wedding, and they were incredible. We got to take a trip to the flower market with Kelsey and Giovanna which was so much fun - and provided great inspiration for our day! We used Whim for our day of (really month-of) coordination for the wedding. They were extremely helpful in terms of making us feel like we had everything organized, well planned out, and helped us think of a few things we hadn't considered already. We had some trouble getting on the same page as them in the lead up (ie we like having more control and wanted to be on all emails), but once we got there, everything was easy and great. This was a large wedding with not a lot of time to set up, and Kelsey made sure that everything went smoothly and looked beautiful and put together. We had some major issues with our caterer on the day, and Kelsey went above and beyond in helping us deal with them. We really enjoyed our day, despite those slip-ups, thanks to Kelsey & Whim!

I cannot say enough good things about Whim. We used them for florals for our wedding in July 2015, and they were outstanding. Our flowers were gorgeous, unique, and exactly what we wanted. When I tell you that Whim Events is the best place for floral design, planning, and wedding advice, I seriously mean it. I've been fortunate enough to work with Whim Events as a wedding professional over the years and this August I got to be a Whim bride! The passion, vision, dedication, innovation, heart and professionalism that Whim puts into their work is unfathomable. Moira is head of floral design and creative and she is the most talented artist I have ever known. Moira truly loves and cares for each bride and every bloom that is present at their wedding. Whim literally MADE my wedding! I used to be a wedding coordinator, so I knew I needed someone to keep me from going into work mode, but I was nervous about finding a team who got my vision, which I could only describe as "Kate Spade Goes Camping," and still made me feel involved and like it was my wedding. Whim did all that and more! Natalie and Moira and all the #whimen are absolutely incredible; whether it was suggesting the right vendor for paper or sourcing the perfect straws for the slurpee machine (7-11 wedding and all!), no detail was too small. Not too mention the incredible flowers! I've never been a huge flower person, in that I didn't know exactly the blooms I wanted, just what I didn't want. But Moira completely hit it out of the park! I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. I'm sad the wedding's over just because I can't hang with them anymore! Use Whim for flowers, planning or both! You won't be sorry!

It was such a pleasure to work with Whim Events for my wedding flowers. They took my vision and feel that I had in mind and made it a reality! I knew that working with Whim was going to be an amazing experience from the start. We worked with Whim for all things floral-decor-planning related... basically everything that made our wedding our wedding. Natalie was our main contact for decor-planning-etc, and Moira was our contact for floral-related pieces. We also worked with Kelsey, who was equally wonderful throughout the process. Day of the wedding, we had a whole team of wonderful ladies from Whim help to make the day PERFECT.

Moira couldn't have captured my floral dream more beautifully. I, and everyone at the wedding, was taken aback by the beauty of the flowers, greenery, and artistry that came with it all. The setting of our outdoor ceremony came alive due to the gorgeous flowers and the centerpieces throughout the cocktail hour and reception tent were stunning. Additionally, Moira was so lovely to work with and always made me feel so good about our floral vision!

I feel so lucky to have worked so closely with Natalie throughout the entire process. Through her detailed questions and close listening, she was able to make everything happen perfectly. Natalie supported me in ensuring that I got what I wanted with vendors and her expertise helped me with every decision. She always made me feel that she was as excited for our wedding as I was; it was a dream experience working with her.

Our wedding had fabulous details, wonderfully personalized touches, and was picturesque—all thanks to Whim. Having incredible professionals take such care with all of these elements of the wedding allowed us to have the MOST amazing time at our wedding, fully experience all of the aspects of the day itself, and be overjoyed by the way everything turned out. When we first picked our wedding venue, we were worried that we lacked the creativity and time needed to really do the space justice. We knew we wanted to be involved in the decorative process, but we also knew we needed some expertise and guidance to pull everything together. I first noticed Whim for their beautiful flowers. I reached out to them and learned more about their decor options and custom design packages. I knew they were a perfect fit for what we needed.

The Whim team is flexible, responsive and always willing to work with you and your budget. Thank you and Moira SO MUCH for your help with the baby's breath and my flower crown. Remember I told you that my stylist was incredibly nervous for me to get a crown because it's so difficult to work with? Well, I've seen her twice since the wedding and she WON'T SHUT UP about how amazing that crown was. "In all of my 20 years doing wedding hair that was the most easy to work with, sturdy and manageable crown..." Let's just say she's obsessed and you have another fan :)

The crown was really the highlight of my look and the colors were perfect. It perfectly matched with my lipstick and I just loved it. At the end of the night we passed it around and have quite a few photos of other people wearing it as well.

I could shoot from the rooftops the love for Whim Events and it still would not be enough. I love love loved working with these ladies and my wedding day was better have had hired them!!

I had a very clear vision in my head for what I wanted my wedding day to look like and it is as if the ladies of Whim crawled into my brain, sorted out the gazillion ideas I had floating around and organized them into a very cohesive look. Every time I left meetings with Natalie and Moira I felt inspired, excited and most importantly: less stressed!!! They are dream makers.

The florals they provided for me were absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and guests are still gushing over them two months later. Everything looked like a fairy tale. Natalie and Moira really knocked it out of the park and I am forever grateful.

My fiance and I got engaged in May of 2013 and began planning our September 2014 wedding right away. We chose a completely DIY venue so I knew we would need help. I'd heard only wonderful things about the customizable wedding planning and florals at Whim so I knew where I was going.

Whim was, hands down, the best planning choice we made for our wedding! Natalie and Moira are incredible! As soon as you meet them and step into their flower filled studio you feel like they've been your friends forever. They are all about YOU and bringing your vision to life.

I was anxious about coordinating all of the vendors, decor, and all of the little things I knew I hadn't even thought of! Natalie completely put my mind at ease - with the customizable planning packages she could be there to fill in all of the blanks. She helped coordinate with vendors (and had our backs with any conflicts that arose), together with Moira they created a spectacular design and floral plan that incorporated every vision Corey and I had,and they made sure everything was perfect.

When it came to the day-of, Natalie and her team were unbelievable! Our wedding, which had A LOT of outside vendors and moving parts, went off without a single problem. Everything was PERFECT! I don't know how Natalie does it, but she will make your day everything you've dreamed and more. I could go on and on about how amazing this team is. I’m not sure where to start. Having Moira, Natalie and Kelsey as part of my wedding day was beyond words. They offer so much to your day. Whim went above and beyond all expectations. Whim is an amazing team who will put their hearts into helping you to create the most memorable, beautiful wedding day. Natalie was very helpful from start to finish- through discussing my budget to making sure I had a plan for my centerpieces at the end of the night. She was always accessible from the minute I inquired about her help through the following 11 months.
Moira created my beautiful bridal bouquets, boutonnieres and DIY flower selection. For the flower selection we took a trip to the Boston Flower Market. After a fun morning of finding the most unusual flowers and brightest coral tones, we knew Moira was ready to run with it! No matter what you’re thinking, Moira will help you express that through flowers! It is clear she loves her job and is honored to be a part of creating the perfect flower assortment for you. It was a pleasure to be so hands on with the florist and our options were truly limitless. Our DIY flowers came out great (so I say, but seriously they were gorgeous). Moira was sure to provide us with enough greenery, large blooms, and small blooms to make wonderful centerpieces ourselves!
Natalie and Kelsey rocked the day of coordination. Natalie helped about a month out with getting my vendors in order, setting up deliveries, planning setup and all those things that you don’t realize you need to figure out. Natalie organized everything- and I mean EVERYTHING. With all the many details you spend so much time thinking about, please do not forget the most important detail- your sanity! Natalie handles all communication with your vendors 2 weeks out from your wedding. Day of, Natalie helped to make sure everything was smooth, I did not have to worry about anything because I knew Natalie & her team had it covered.

I knew it was meant to be from the moment I began talking to Natalie and Moira at a Craft My Wedding fair in MA. They were approachable, enthusiastic, and super sweet- I knew I had to work with them! Knowing that my fiance and I had a very limited budget and also knowing that I planned to make most of the decor myself (and had been pinning ideas for months on Pinterest) Whim worked with me to customize the services I needed. They never tried to up-sell things that I didn't need and they never laughed when I told them my budget (which I half expected them to). I also expected them to laugh when I told them I wanted a gnome-themed wedding (they didn't). Through the super stressful process they were always supportive, and super flexible- even when it required them to switch gears and decrease the budget significantly. On the day of the wedding they arrived early and set everything up without incident- and it was all PERFECT!

Natalie and Moira are a dream team- one that any bride would be lucky to have in their corner! I consider myself extremely lucky to have stumbled upon their booth at that fair, and will be forever grateful for the peace of mind I had the morning of my wedding knowing that they would have everything taken care of. They are just awesome!!!

We worked with Natalie and Moira for our July wedding in Maine. When I met with Natalie and explained that we wanted something light, breezy and organic feeling without seeming too Maine-preppy, she knew exactly how to help. She made a design plan that was well within my fairly low budget and helped to make sure we had some special touches that made our wedding our own.

Moira did such a great job with our flowers. When we went to the flower mart together I found all of these awesome flowers that I thought could never make for a pretty wedding centerpiece. Mostly, I loved this one big ball-like purple flower. I was so excited on the day of the wedding to see that Moira was able to incorporate the non-traditional flower into our centerpieces.

Everything was beautiful and the Whim team handled all of our on-going changes (like the need for more pin ons and incorrect spellings!) wonderfully. I would highly recommend Whim for your wedding!

Loved Whim!! They did the flowers for my wedding and both Natalie and Moira were such a pleasure to work with! They were so quick to respond to my messages both prior to and after booking them. Many florists that I reached out to would take WEEKS to get back to me with a proposal but Whim delivered a beautiful proposal to me very quickly and totally understood my vision. We were initially skeptical of the need for a wedding coordinator, concerned that it might turn out to be an unnecessary expense. In fact, Natalie kept our wedding -- approximately 160 guests, at a non-traditional venue that required we bring in EVERYTHING, from caterer to toiletries -- completely on-track. Natalie greeted our endless requests for design changes, more information, and price comparisons on competing vendors with unyielding grace, and a genuine smile and warm demeanor throughout. She really proved her worth when, approximately eight weeks before the event, she provided us with a weekly calendar of deliverables leading up to the big day (for example "On this Friday, I'll need a finalized guest list and choice on floral design, on the following Friday I'll need payments for vendors X, Y, and Z..."). She took something that seemed so overwhelmingly complicated and broke it down to digestible parts, and we were able to feel in control of the decision process throughout.

Her design team was able to take our ideas, and turn them into something beautiful and cohesive, and they were able to hear our criticisms of their designs with no ego or pushback, though she would argue for something, based on her previous experiences, if she felt it would help us -- this was also greatly appreciated.

Finally, through sheer coincidence, we happened to attend another wedding earlier in the season that was also handled by Natalie. This event had an aesthetic all its own, and was equally fabulous, and I happen to know that the bride & groom were every bit as thrilled with Natalie as we were.

Natalie and Caitlin were amazing! they kept us on top of everything we had to do, asked the right questions to make sure we hadn't forgotten everything, helped push our vision so our wedding felt like us and were a blast to work with! I had very strong visions for our wedding that seemed to change and evolve right up to our wedding date. The Whim team was so wonderful at accommodating our ideas while at the same time gently steering us in the best direction. They made such an effort to understand what we wanted and the result was just breathtaking and beyond our wildest dreams. In addition, we had a very tight budget that we were able to stay within and still get everything that we wanted. Overall, the experience working with Whim was one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding process.

And I could not be happier with how everything turned out for our big day, from the design, to the ceremony, to the reception, everything. I had an awesome experience with Whim Floral for my small family centered wedding in June 2014. I am a pretty picky bride and I had specific requests on the color scheme and the type of flowers I wanted. At the same time, I am also very non-decisive so I would constantly change my mind and ask if they could accommodate it for me. Natalie (Event Coordinator & Business Operations) listened carefully to what I wanted and came up with a perfect combination of the two conflicting schemes I had in mind!!! It was like a dreams come true wedding to me.

I was also very limited in the budget, and perhaps because it was a Monday wedding, Whim floral kindly worked under my tight budget while proposing flowers arrangements that turned out to be ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I could tell that Natalie works in this industry just because she loves it so much.

Plus, you could also rent props, vase, wedding related items from Whim which I thought was a huge factor in choosing Whim floral. They have a whole inventory of things that may be useful for any type of events. I personally don't like seeing items being used once and being wasted (which is usually the case in most wedding events), so if you are the type of person who are more environmentally conscious, I would definitely go for Whim floral.

We got married in March and used Whim events for our floral package at a friend's recommendation. We could not have been happier. Natalie and Moira were awesome to work with, able to flex their services to meet our budget, and were almost as excited about our ideas as we were. They also provided rental decorations to fit with our vision for the day, which saved me from having to consider every little detail and buy a bunch of things I would never use again.

After our meeting, Natalie worked with us via email to create the perfect package for us--sending inspiration pictures (including some from my own pinterest board) so that we knew what Whim had in mind. She must have tweaked the proposal at least 3 times without ever getting impatient with me. She was super responsive throughout the entire process, which is impressive because for a while it felt like I emailed her almost every day.

The day of the wedding, the girls who delivered our flowers and decorations were on time, professional, and (maybe most important on your wedding day) self-sufficient. I could not have asked for more.

If you're looking for the perfect addition to your wedding day "team", you won't be disappointed in Whim.

The very first step of planning our wedding was to hire Natalie from Whim Events, which turned out to be one of our best decisions.
From the get-go, we were impressed with Natalie’s organizational skills, attitude (always positive), and professionalism. We were planning an outdoor wedding in Vermont on private property, which we knew would be somewhat of a logistical challenge. Little did we know there would be so many moving parts! Moira turned our small wedding into some sort of wonderland filled with all the flowers I requested in our very specific color scheme (teal, grey, and copper). I have worked alongside Moira as a florist in the past, and she continues to blow me away with her talent. Its been a pleasure to watch her work grow (over the last, what, 9 years??!!) from totally amazing to otherworldly, jawdropping, and impossibly creative. I don't know how anyone could utilize the event floral services of a flower shop (coming from someone who has worked for years in 5 different shops) when they could receive the ultra-personalized creativity and dedicated attention of an event service, especially Whim!

Our flowers and all sorts of little special details were gorgeous and made our wedding extra special -- they're just awesome. Best wedding planning decision we made was to work with the ladies of Whim!

I hired Whim Events & Floral Design for my August wedding at the referral of my wedding planner. My fiancé and I both agreed flowers were not very important to us in the grand scheme of things as they tend to be expensive and (obviously) temporary but we did want some visual "pop" to the wedding and my planner thought Moira would be a perfect fit. The initial meeting went really well; Moira is young, creative and passionate about what she does - she would get visibly excited when we talked about certain ideas. She brought magazines and her portfolio and we discussed types of flowers, styles of bouquets, etc. She had some great ideas and I left feeling confident she'd be able to do something nice within a reasonable budget.

Our second meeting was in our venue and Moira brought examples of different centerpieces. I have no idea how she did it, but she used that first, pretty general discussion to create exactly what we were looking for! She used candles and mirrors accented with flowers (to keep down costs and help light the dark venue) and created little sculptural masterpieces with greens in vases. I was pretty impressed.

Well, if I was impressed then, I was BLOWN AWAY when I got to the wedding venue the day of. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments about how unique the hanging centerpieces were. (Words can't really describe them, but images are here: http://tinyurl.com/3gtvm…) A lot of the negotiation and back-and-forth was handled through my planner but any and all interaction I did have with Moira and her team was extremely positive. And at the end of the day, she created a beautiful floral vision on my wedding day for an *extremely* good price. I would recommend Whim Florals and Moira's creative genius to anyone!

HIRE WHIM!!! They will make your dream wedding come true :)

We first met Natalie back in March. Our wedding was in September and we were looking for a planner and a florist. After grabbing coffee with Natalie, I turned to my then fiance and said "done - hired!". I fully trusted Natalie from day one. I knew that she was on top of it from her emails, plans, being very responsive, etc. Not too long after that, we met Moira during a walk thru at our wedding venue. I can't say enough about this duo. We ended up hiring them for the design, the day of coordination, and for floral design. Along the way we met the rest of the girls on the team, and everyone is awesome. They had great ideas and have relationships with some great vendors for all of the little details that you may want (chalkboards, signs, paper goods, etc.), they understood exactly the look we were going for, and executed above and beyond our expectations on the big day. The flow of the day, the way everything looked.....it was 100% exactly how we envisioned it. Our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've been to, and we owe a lot of that to Whim.

I can't say it enough: Whim Events is a truly wonderful team to use for any of the services that they provide. They were by far our favorite wedding vendor. You won't be disappointed!

Whim did the flowers for my wedding in September, 2013 and we also rented other decor items (table number holders, candles) from them. Natalie and Moira were amazing!! Throughout the planning process Natalie was very responsive and helpful, responding to questions quickly and sending me pictures of things they were thinking for my wedding, even though she had many other weddings coming up before mine. The flowers the day of were just perfect - from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the centerpieces to the ceremony flowers, including the gorgeous chuppah. It was even better than I had imagined. Many guests told me how beautiful the flowers were and my now-husband, who doesn't usually notice these things, kept saying how great the flowers were. I could go on and on... I really cannot recommend Whim enough. One thing I learned from wedding planning is to pick vendors you love and have a good feeling about - I met with a few other florists and just didn't feel a connection with them until I met Natalie and Moira. Thank you, Whim, for making our wedding day so beautiful!!

Moira and Natalie are wonderful!! They knew the vision I had and it all looked beautiful! Another great thing about them is that they will work with your budget. They really are the best!

I can't say enough about Whim Events! I absolutely LOVED working with Natalie; she truly loves the work that she does. It was early on in my planning process when I contacted Whim and I was still working on defining my vision for my wedding. Natalie was patient and asked great questions to help me come up with a truly spectacular vision for all of my flowers, for the vision I had for my altar space, and for the feel I wanted at my reception. Natalie and I spoke several times on the phone and each time we spoke it was easy. She worked with me to find ways to incorporate items I used at the ceremony and cocktail hour into the reception space. Due to my schedule, I was unable to make the Market Visit with Moira and initially that had me very concerned since that meant I would be seeing my flower selections for the first time at the wedding. I shouldn't have worried because my flowers were all that I had hoped for and more. They were all stunning and the vision that I had in my mind was brought to fruition by Natalie and Moira. I was absolutely thrilled that they were able to find me deep magenta peonies- in October! Both Moira and Natalie hand delivered the bouquets (and they showed us photos of the ceremony space that they set up- much appreciated!) and you can tell that Moira pours her heart into her work with her flowers. I highly recommend Whim Events to anyone who is looking for a vendor who is knowledgeable, who is super easy to talk and work with, and who will enjoy being part of your wedding planning process.

Whim Events came recommended from my wedding photographer, and once I browsed through their website I knew I had to call them. I had a call with Natalie and some of her team for a consultation, and they really listened to all I had to say and delivered a stunning floral proposal which definitely sealed the deal to hire them! Throughout the entire planning process, I would email Natalie with random questions and requests and she was incredibly responsive and sweet. We were on a pretty strict budget for our flowers, and ended up only going with personals, although I wish we could have done more - the team at Whim is so talented! When Natalie delivered the flowers on our wedding day, I couldn't have been happier. They really brought my vision to life, and I have received so many compliments on them. You won't be disappointed if you select the Whim team - they are not only true artists but extremely professional, organized and kind to work with. I'm just trying to think of ways to work with them again!

We had Mandi as our Day-Of Wedding Planner/ Coordinator. She was great, invaluable really. She made a great schedule and plan for the wedding. Then we started handing over vendors a couple weeks ahead of time and on the day of we did nothing. Everything was seamless. She even set up some things we thought we'd have to do ourselves at the venue! She was very attentive to our needs, asking often if we needed anything and very discretely and non-obtrusively asking us questions in the couple instances when she did need to ask us something. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and Whim for your wedding.

Whim was an absolutely amazing vendor to work with. We went to the flower market to look at colors, textures, smells, etc. It was a little bit on the expensive side I feel but I don't really know because this was my first time getting a florist.
