Wonderful Team

For my wedding I had my hair done by Lisa and booked my services through Sarah. They were both very communicative and very patient with the touch of scatterbrain I got hit with during the wedding itself. Lisa did a wonderful job in the chaos of everyone getting ready. She made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Friendly and Fabulous!

Sarah and her team are incredibly talented. I had the honor of working with Sarah for my hair/makeup. Sarah was so friendly and took time to get to know me as a person, my style, and look at my inspiration photos. She was so receptive to any feedback or requests I had so that I ended up with exactly what I was hoping for but better! I enjoyed getting to know her and especially loved how I looked in my photos. Fantastic HMU artists!

Sarah and her team were fantastic! We started planning way back in 2019 and had a year of reschedules due to COVID and other unforeseen circumstances, and Sarah was always accommodating with rescheduling the trial date and the wedding date.

I'm not particularly experienced with makeup (or hair, for that matter) but when I walked into Sarah's studio for my HMU trial, I was instantly put at ease by her friendly demeanor and professionalism! After showing her a couple of pictures, she instantly 'got' what I was looking for, and even threw in another awesome hairstyle for a photoshoot I had later in the day.

The day of, Sarah and her team showed up and were fantastic at responding to everyone's wants (I had HMU for MoB, MoG, and bridesmaids). My hair and makeup was even better than it was during the trial, and afterwards Sarah gave me a little touchup kit in case I needed it throughout the day - which, as it turned out, I didn't! The hair and makeup both lasted all the way to the wee hours of the morning! I can't recommend Sarah and her team enough!

The Perfect Natural Glow

As someone who does not do her makeup very often, I was so grateful to have Sarah there to help me get ready on my wedding day! I actually did a trial run with her first in her home to get comfortable with what look I was going for on my big day. She was so friendly and welcoming! On the day of the wedding, Sarah and her team were able to do our hair and makeup for my three sisters, my mom, and me. Everyone was glowing and looked naturally gorgeous! Whik'd Hawaii made us all feel beautiful and confident plus she provided us with little touch-up kits in case we needed throughout the evening but we didn't end up having to use them. I loved her work and products so much actually ordered the makeup she used afterward to keep using and preserve my wedding glow when I get dressed up and take the time to do my makeup! I was so grateful to be able to have our wedding before the pandemic shut down and even more glad to have Sarah by my side while getting ready on our special day!

So good, lasts all day

Sarah did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I showed her some inspiration photos and she did a great job! My hair and makeup lasted all day, even through all the happy tears. I’m so glad I went with them!

Beautiful work and amazing quality!

Loved my hair and make up and so did all of my ladies!! Very natural yet glamorous and exactly what we all wanted! Could not recommend them enough! Make up lasted all day and night, I didn't need any touch ups, felt very light and felt like my best self without feeling like I was wearing a pound of make up. These ladies know their stuff!

Sarah is the best mua ever - do not hesistate!

Destination weddings can be super exciting but also scary because you don’t get to meet your vendors before the big day. Our wedding planner recommended Sarah to us and after seeing her portfolio, I promptly booked her a year in advance. I had a makeup trial a week out from our wedding, which I also used for our pre-wedding photo shoot, and that’s when I knew I was in the best hands. Without giving her any inspiration, I asked Sarah to just do her thing on me and boy did she deliver! I honestly could not fault her work! Little did I know that Sarah would exceed my expectations on the wedding day! I have pretty low self-confidence but hands down I can say that I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day!! Everyone thought my makeup look amazing and even better, it lasted all night and did not need to be touched up!!! I would highly recommend Sarah for any bride to be – you will not regret it!! Not only is Sarah an amazing MUA, she is also one of the sweetest, friendliest and funniest people that you will ever meet. She even went above and beyond on my wedding day to help me get dressed whilst the important ladies in my life were getting themselves dressed :P

Sarah and her girls are extremely professional, responsive, and talented.
My experience with booking was seamless and handled entirely by Sarah. Although Sarah did not actually do the hair and makeup on the day, she organised everything and made the whole process so easy.
The price is very fair for the services provided, especially by Honolulu standards. I paid for hair and makeup for 7.
The makeup and hair was done beautifully and they really paid attention to what each girl wanted.
The trial a few days before was also very helpful, and it was so convenient that they came to me.

Sarah, you were a total blast! Thank you for the most gorgeous wedding hair and make-up. Sarah made me feel completely relaxed right from the beginning. She captured the exact look I was going for, and I walked down the aisle feeling beautiful and confident all while looking natural enough to fit in with the landscape of our outdoor event. Sarah was AMAZING!!!! I worked with Sarah to do my bridal hair and makeup and she brought an additional 2 members of her team to help with the bridesmaid hair and makeup! Sarah was amazingly skilled and professional to work with. I used Sarah to do the hair and makeup for our entire bridal party for our wedding at Turtle Bay in September 2017 after getting a recommendation from a friend that also got married on the island a few years ago. She recommended them without hesitation and I would do the same.

Even with changes to our bridal party, she was responsive and flexible, all the way up until the very last second. She and Alex were on time and professional....but without being stuffy or un-fun. On the real, if I lived on Oahu I would want to be friends with Sarah lol.
As far as the results...holy cow. I am a pretty low key person in my day to day. I work in a hospital and doing my hair and makeup doesn't make a ton of sense for me all the time. I could not have been more pleased with how I looked. I felt so pretty and got complements all night long and NEVER HAD TO REAPPLY MY MAKEUP. LIKE...WTF?!?!?! I WAS DANCING, EATING, AND DRINKING...OUTSIDE. IN THE HUMIDITY. That is saying something!!

Sarah and her "Whik'd" team were absolutely AMAZING!! Not only did she make me look and feel gorgeous on my wedding day but my bridal party also looked STUNNING! After a night full of dancing all of our hair and makeup stayed 100% intact thanks to their expert application, and need I mention that she uses her own makeup line that she designs herself on all of clients!!! Her services are extremely affordable for the quality they produce and she offers a discount if your bridesmaids use her services too! If for some reason they want to do their own makeup and hair, make sure as the bride Sarah is styling you because you're look INCREDIBLE on your special day!!!

Sarah and her team did a FANTASTIC job! Our whole bridal party looked absolutely amazing! Not only did they do a great job on our makeup, but they were super fun to hang out with while they did it. It rained during our reception, and was a very humid day in general. After that whole day plus dancing hard all night I was AMAZED at how perfect our makeup still looked. Even after jumping into the pool my face stayed on (though my false eyelashes did finally give up the ghost after swimming around for a bit)! Thank you ladies, you made me and my wife look and feel absolutely fantastic on our wedding day!

I found Sarah through my wedding planner, and it was fate. Sarah and her team were AMAZING!!! She made me and my two bridesmaids look so pretty! I initially did a trial run for me and my sister - I was a little nervous about how my hair piece would hold up with my hair being down and my sister had never worn eye makeup in her life. Totally worth it, she was so awesome and accommodating. My makeup lasted all day (seriously, whatever she uses for lipstick is magic) and my hair held up!!! THANK YOU, SARAH!!!

My mom is still telling me how amazing she thought this team was - of course I agree with her! This team rocked out 6 bridesmaids, 3 family members, and my hair and makeup in 3 hours! They took their time with each of us to compliment our features and make us feel comfortable. Everyone had a natural look with enough to shine through in the photos! I wish I could upload a picture of what Sarah accomplished with my thick Hawaiian hair! I've never seen a loose, whimsical look actually stay all night long - it was perfection! Planning a wedding from another state can be stressful- but as soon as I had my trial with Sarah I knew she was going to make me look absolutely flawless on my big day! Sarah and Jennifer did a great job with my whole bridal party! They were right on time and for straight to work making sure everyone had plenty of time for hair and makeup and then touch ups right before the wedding. Sarah is so sweet and she provided me with a touch up kit for the day of the wedding with powder and lipstick ! I wasn't sure exactly how I wanted my hair and when I asked her to make a bit poofier on top she said no problem! And poofed it right up! I cried during my ceremony and was worried I had mascara running down my face! But NOPE ! Completely water proof. I looked flawless all night ! Thank you Sarah for making my day absolutely perfect:)

Sarah and her assistant were amazing! I used her services for my wedding hair and make up, as well as my mother, maid of honor, and flower girl. I had a trial with her which I highly recommend just for your own peace of mind and to take the time to play around with hair ideas. I have long layered hair, and chose to do big relaxed wavy curls, with the sides pulled back for a soft looking half up style. I also had her add a few small white orchids to the side and it was simple and beautiful. Her make up skills are unreal! I was worried because my face had been breaking out from all the wedding stress, but the make up was flawless! Couldn't see any blemishes, and it didn't look caked on either. The make up stayed fresh through an outdoor, humid wedding, even while I was sweating in my gown, when I checked my make up it still looked awesome! I didn't have to do any touch ups or powder until later into the reception, a good 10 hours after she put it on. Same goes for my mom (who walked me down the aisle) and my maid of honor. They were stunning!

Great, FAST service! I was a little nervous about working with Whik'd initially only because I didn't get to meet the stylist before my wedding day and wasn't sure if one stylist would be able to complete full hair and makeup for both myself and my MOH within two hours but I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed! Cedrian was my stylist and was able to complete both hair and makeup for both myself and my MOH in the short timeframe and we looked flawless! After showing Cedrian pictures of the looks we both wanted and explaining the wedding theme to her she got to work and made sure were were flawless and in my MOH's case, within her comfort zone yet wedding ready. Cedrian was also fun, funny, polite and very professional the whole way through! I'd recommend Whik'd to anyone who needs wedding day hair and makeup!

My goodness. Sarah and her team are amazing. So thankful to my lovely wedding planner who recommended Whik'd to me. No surprise, Sarah was her first pick. My trial at her home studio was so enjoyable and her sweet pets kept me company while Sarah worked her magic. We tried a few different things and I ended up walking out feeling like a million bucks. I had a big bridal party, 6 girls plus me and my mom so it was important to me that we would not be sitting around for 7 hours waiting for one person to do all our hair and make up. Sarah confirmed that she would come with 2 extra assistants and be all done in 3 hours which was phenomenal. They showed up right on time and were amazingly prepared. They stuck to their timeline to the minute and had all my girls feeling and looking absolutely incredible. Even my mom who never likes having her make up done was so happy with the result. Sarah and her team are wonderful makeup artists, they are understanding, kind and professional. She worked with me to find the perfect look for my special day and was always ready to listen to my needs. The day of my trial I was late and Sarah was so kind and understanding. Sarah was so easy to work with. I planned my destination wedding from Michigan, not meeting the stylists or doing any trial runs before the big day. I even changed my mind last minute and decided to put my hair up instead of leaving it down because it was so hot new humid out. Sarah didn't even bat an eye. She completed my make up and up-do to perfection and far exceeded what I imagined. Beyond that, she and her stylists efficiently and artistically completed make up and up-dos for 7+ women. Sarah and her team did an amazing job for me and my bridal party. None of us really knew what we wanted, but they asked us the right questions and helped lead us to the right choices for our hair and makeup. It was a breezy and humid day but my hair did not move an inch, and the makeup stayed in place all day. Sarah, Brooke, and Serafina were also friendly and easy to talk to. Sarah was wonderful and helpful during our communication and scheduling and I was so happy to have had Jen and Serafina for my wedding day hair and makeup! My bridal party and myself were so pleased with our looks! Coming from CT we weren't able to do a trial look, but I knew from reviews that I could have confidence in them. The girls and I gave Jen and Serafina our ideas and they worked magic. I even got poured on during picture taking and my makeup didn't move a bit!!! I couldn't believe it. I would recommend Sarah & Jennifer from Whik'd in a heart beat! Sarah was great to deal with and made everything so easy from start to finish.
On the day of the wedding Sarah and Jennifer arrived on time and they were so quick to make my bridesmaids, mum and mother-in-law look absolutely gorgeous. When it came to my hair and makeup, Sarah had a quick look at some photo's that I had, and she just went for it and created the exact look that I was after, I wouldn't have changed a thing!

We are from Northern California and decided to have a destination wedding in Hawaii. Didn't plan on going to Hawaii any time before the wedding, so about a month before my wedding I was in need of a professional hair and make up artist. And I'm so glad I followed my gut but choosing Whik'd Hair and Make-up! I emailed Sara and she was available for our Wednesday Wedding!! Thank God!!! Sara was professional and super friendly!! She did my sister and I's hair and make up. Sara was on time for our 9am start and finished at 1130ish.
Sara did my hair first, I showed her one photo and she was able to replicate it, but even more perfect than I pictured. I have very frizzy hair and was worried about going out into the humid air of Hawaii and my hair just poofing. Sara was very knowledgeable about the products she used and seemed to be very experienced in working with my type of hair! I was so happy at the end of the night there was not a hair sticking out of place! It looked literally looked the same ALL DAY!!!
Sara also did our make up. As someone who only wears makeup on special occasions, I was very pleased with the job she did. It was very clean, not too heavy and I was able to recognize myself!! As my hair, the makeup stayed the same all night long, even through all the sweat! She even gave me extra lipstick to touch up.
If I could give Sara 10 stars I totally would!!

I thought planning a destination wedding via email was going to be hard but Sarah was super quick to respond to my emails and so helpful.

Sarah and her team did an amazing job on the whole bridal team as well as the Mother of the Bride and Groom. Her team was especially accommodating of the Mother of the Groom who was not having much luck with the look she had chosen and became quite upset. Sarah's team did 3 different styles with her hair and were very patient throughout the process, continuing until she was happy with the final outcome.

Sarah was a true pleasure to work with and so personable that I felt at ease as soon as she arrived.

I have never felt more beautiful and I got so many compliments from family and friends.

I don't wear make-up and right after I got engaged my girlfriend announced that she had booked Sarah to do my hair and make-up for the wedding. I appreciated and accepted the gift but inside I had butterflies about getting professional hair and make-up. Last year I went to a girlfriend's wedding who, like me, doesn't wear make-up regularly and at the wedding, she didn't look like herself. I literally had a bad dream about fake eyelashes (which I had never worn) the week before the wedding.

My wedding day was extremely fun, happy, and a fantastic day and I think one of the reasons was because my amazing friend booked this amazing woman Sarah to make me beautiful. I told her I wanted a natural look and that I wanted my hair pulled up a little - that's all the direction I gave, no pictures, nada. She made me so so pretty - and even more important - I still looked like myself. I went through the whole day feeling okay to be the center of attention because I looked so good. I know for a fact it wouldn't have been that way if I had done it on my own or let my sister-in-law at me. Whik'd Hair and make-up were on time and fast to respond! I worked with Sarah and she emailed me quickly and was fast and setting something up for my wedding day. At first I had booked her for 5 and at the end in the last week I needed to add 2 more. It was easy to change and add the 2 additional ladies that wanted to do hair and make-up. The team did hair and make-up touch-ups and left me looking like a million bucks! My husband looked at me and said "You Look soo Beautiful!," which is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day. The make-up was prefect and did last the whole night! My maid of honor took pictures at the end of the night and her make-up was still intact. I showed her a picture on pinterest and she was able to make my hair look exactly like the picture. Thank you for making me feel pretty and had a great time while you did my hair and make-up.

I found Whikd for my bridesmaids hair and makeup based on Internet research and ended up selecting the vendor based on its many positive reviews. I also appreciated seeing Sarah’s (owner) online portfolio that included both before and after photos as well as candid shots. Sarah was very response to emails, which is always a plus when trying to coordinate with so many vendors! Her prices are very reasonable.

Sarah and her hair person (Cedrian) arrived right on time. They both did a fantastic job with all my bridesmaids hair and make-up. It was nice that the make up was waterproof, too! Sarah was so easy to work with! I highly recommend her.

Planning a wedding all online is one of the hardest whys to do it when your in a diffrent country, but Sarah was an absolutely wonderful hair and makeup artist ! She was quick to respond to my emails and so helpful, Sarah arrived at our hotel ontime and was just so bubbly from the moment I opened the door from her she was so easy to get along with and so quick at doing her job, the hair was amazing and stay in thought the big winds we had at the beach we got married at and the make up was perfect it didn't come off all afternoon and night until I washed it ! Sarah of Whik'd came highly recommended to me by my photographer Jenna of Creatrix photography. Her work is fabulous, she is very personable and was able to take my lack of cohesive vision, I did not have a firm idea of what I wanted for my hair, and make something gorgeous. My hair lasted from 10 am until I took the pins out at 10 pm. I was in the sun and even got in the ocean a little bit and my makeup and hair stayed beautiful. Sarah is AMAZING!! I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding and I am so glad to have chosen Sarah. I never wear makeup and have tried makeup from other places. Each time I have someone put on makeup for me, it always looks unnatural and caked on. But Sarah is AMAZING. All I had to say was that I wanted a natural look and she did it. It didn't even feel like I had makeup on, which was even better. The makeup was so light in feeling and looks great! And it's waterproof!! After I got my trial session done, I went kayaking with some friends. I didn't get soaked in water, but I was out in the ocean, then came back, and my makeup was still perfect!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Sarah. I am from a little Island in Eastern Canada called Prince Edward Island which is a 7 hour time difference from Hawaii. With that being said, the only contact I had with Sarah was through email. I found Sarah on a search through Wedding Wire. She responded right away and was very flexible as my fiance and I still hadn't decided on a definite date. Any time I had a question, Sarah was quick to respond. On the day of our wedding she arrived to our condo early and was very friendly and professional. She was doing my hair and makeup and brought all the essentials with her. She asked what I wanted done with my hair and I told her I was leaving it all up to her expertise! I really had nothing in mind. She was quick to decide on an updo. And what a beautiful job she did! I loved it! Then she went to work on my make up and again I told her to do what she thought best and she didn't hesitate for a second! My fiance just stood there taking pictures. He kept saying how beautiful I looked. Sarah is absolutely fantastic! We felt like we knew her forever!

Sarah and her team did makeup and hair for my bridal party, the MOB, MOG and me. Sarah made it really easy to book her services and was super quick to respond (which doesn't always happen when planning from another state). I was also able to book a trial for a few days before the wedding.

Sarah and her team were friendly, professional and most of all amazing at what they do. All the girls looked so great and I couldn't have been happier with my hair and makeup. I was worried about my makeup (because I have small Asian eyes and don't like tons of makeup), but Sarah is a pro and I was super happy with my look. The Whik'd Away team was able to suggest hairstyles for those who didn't know what to do and was able to execute the ideas some had in mind.

Sarah has fantastic makeup and hair skills, she did an amazing job for my wedding. Both the maid of honor and myself (bride) had full makeup and hair done. Sarah is an awesome makeup artist and hairstylist! It was such a joy working with her and her team. She has such an outgoing personality, so it was so much fun getting our makeup and hair done. Sarah was fantastic to work with. We were renewing our vows for our 10 year anniversary and less than 2 weeks before the ceremony, I decided to look into having my hair and makeup done in my room instead of the hotel spa. Sarah was able to accommodate me and do my hair and makeup in time for me to leave the hotel at 7:30am. She responded to email communication very quickly, answered all my questions and her work was incredible. I sent her a photo with an idea for my hair and she replicated it perfectly. My makeup looked beautiful AND lasted the entire day. I not only renewed my vows, but also went swimming the entire afternoon. When we had our celebration dinner that night, my makeup looked as fresh as it did in the morning. I would absolutely use Sarah again if I had another event in Hawaii. Sarah does tremendous work! She is also one of those people that you still want to keep in touch with even after the wedding! I booked her for my boudoir photo shoot, hair and makeup trial and of course, my wedding day!

I had a hard time booking hair and makeup because I am very picky about hairstyles. In comparison to other vendor portfolios, the wedding hairstyles that Whik'd Hawaii does are much more elegant, clean and unique. They are very talented and are able to do all styles and up- dos so perfectly and so beautifully!

Sarah is very professional, flexible and easy to communicate with. She is warm, friendly and easy to talk to and get along with. Not only that, her quality of work is incredible! For all three services with her, my makeup stayed on until I scrubbed it off.

The day of the wedding, Sarah and her team arrived early and were ready to get down to business. We had ten girls (including myself) that needed hair and makeup services. We were all glowing, giddy, happy and completely satisfied! Whik'd did a wonderful job keeping the makeup natural and giving the girls exactly what they asked for. My makeup lasted from 2 o' clock in the afternoon on Saturday until 9 o'clock in the morning on Sunday, only because I decided to take it off after I woke up. I'm sure it would have lasted longer if I let it! It lasted through the sweat of an afternoon outdoor ceremony, the multiple episodes of happy tears, the dog saliva (from being licked in the face by a cute dog guest) and the sweat from "twerking" in my wedding dress all night and the sweat from being in the Surfer Bar after the wedding. Even the eyelashes were still intact in the morning!

Whik'd Hawaii produces quality work for a reasonable price. They are the best out there and I look forward to working with them the next time I need my hair or makeup done. Thanks Sarah! You and your team made me look the most beautiful I have ever looked in my life on the best day of my life! Love you guys!

Sarah is super chill and so down to earth and easy to get along with....even when I could not decide how to do my hair for the wedding :-) I do not wear a lot of makeup and really wanted something natural and Sarah delivered! I had a very natural but polished look and still looked like myself which is what I wanted. Sarah was amazing! Friendly, fun, and so good at her job. I loved the way I looked, and my mother and father's girlfriend both had hair and make up - and they both looked fantastic. My hair and make up held up well, even after it rained on me - nothing (ie mascara and eyeliner) ran and the pictures still looked great.
I would recommend spending the money to do a trial before the ceremony. Sarah is very friendly and open and will work with you on creating the look you want. This is NOT something you want to figure out on the morning of your big day.

I can't say enough good things about Sarah. Being a destination bride, I had worries about booking vendors from afar. Sarah responded to all my emails within the day and was nothing but friendly and professional. I had asked to get a hair and makeup trial done one week (Short notice, sorry!) before the wedding and she worked it into her schedule, no problem. She was very friendly and helped ease my nerves on the big day.

My hair and makeup turned out beautiful! I couldn't have asked for anything better. I also booked her to do my wedding party's hair and makeup and they all were very happy with the results and wouldn't stop thanking me for the treat. My mother looked beautiful and I could see how happy the results made her. She didn't stop smiling and looking in the mirror all day.

I would recommend Whik'd Hair and Makeup to anyone.

Sarah was so amazing to work with! She had no issue flying out to Kauai to do hair and makeup for 5 people. She arrived early, was extremely helpful and we all loved our hair & make up.

I knew from the moment I received a reply email from Sarah that she going to be awesome. She totally understood what I wanted and was so quick to reply to any emails.
As soon as I met her it was like we'd know each other for ages, which is perfect especially for a nervous bride waiting for the big build up of walking down the aisle.
Sarah and Team made myself and my 3 beautiful bridesmaids look stunning. Everything was perfect and everyone was really happy with their hair and makeup.
Absolutely recommended Whik'd to all those brides out there who want a hairdresser that listens and creates beautiful work. I wish she was in Australia so I could use her all the time!

Sarah was amazing, super responsive to emails and made me look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
She showed up early and had everything ready to go, she was very adaptive to unseen changes in schedule (adding two makeups last minute) and did a wonderful job on everyone.

I contacted Whik'd Hawaii when I ran across their website while looking for a venue for when my fiance and I would be getting married in Hawaii. With all the positive comments, I decided take the chance to book Sarah for my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She was very responsive and always replied to my emails and any question that I had. When the day came, she was AMAZING!! I couldn't have asked for anyone better then her. Both myself and my mother-in-law had our hair and makeup done and we were VERY impressed. I had asked for a more natural look, and it was exactly what I had asked for. I received many compliments from strangers for my both hair and makeup. I would recommend Whik'd Hair and makeup Hawaii to anyone!

My entire experience with Whik'd was easy and stress free, which is important for a bride! Sarah did an amazing job on my hair and make up, and was flexible when I requested a different style a few weeks before my big day. Sarah was wonderful! She arrived promptly and was able to replicate what I wanted from my pictures. I had an updo and she made sure that the bun was sturdy. My hair stayed in place all night, even with the tugging and pulling with my veil. She was also able to cover up all my red blemishes and my skin looked flawless!! My cheeks are especially flaky, but the makeup she used was wonderful and my skin looked smooth and natural.

I am the extremely lucky husband (HUSBAND!!!) of the gorgeous bride, who Sarah at Whik'd prettied up for our wedding last month. I don't know if people hear from satisfied grooms very often, but I for sure felt it necessary to reach out and say how happy Sarah made the BOTH of us on our wedding day. Now, my wife is already beautiful, but Sarah's make-up and hairstyling skills & expertise took her looks to the next level, seriously. In fact, when I was standing at the altar and the doors opened, and I saw my bride walk in all bathed in glowing light and looking all hottt (three t's, that's how hot she was), I told myself, "Holy crap. She looks so good, I know I'm gonna cry. I don't know WHEN I'm gonna cry. But I am definitely gonna cry." And I did! During the vows, when I had to look in her beautiful face and try to keep it altogether. But I obviously couldn't, because she looked too damn pretty! She was so in love with how she was made up, I was so in love with how she looked all made up, and it all really helped make the day magical for us. Whik'd did a wonderful job on the bridesmaids and the mothers, as well. She's just totally awesome in general! We're both so thankful she was chosen for our wedding -- she knocked it out of the park.

Sarah helped make my special day stress free. It rained in the morning which made me a little worried if the ceremony would take place. Sarah helped me take that off my mind and enjoy the time she was pampering me. Because of the rain my wedding photos were taken a few days later. Sarah was flexible and returned when the weather was nice to do my hair and make up again. Both days my hair and make-up were beautiful. The first day she did a beautiful vintage up do and makeup. The second time my hair was a half down vintage style and make-up. I have the greatest pictures because of her amazing job. I wish I could upload photos to show. Definitely would recommend her again, and I wish she lived near me to do my hair and make-up on a regular basis. Two thumb up!!!!!

Sarah was awesome!!! She did hair and makeup for myself, and my two girls, for my wedding on March 23rd. She responded right away to all my emails, showed up right on time, and worked with each one of us until it was exactly what we wanted. Sarah and her team where exceptional in providing hair and makeup for me and my bridal party. Most importantly, her talent in cosmetology was impecable. I looked flawless in my hair and makeup. It stayed put all day!
Also, it helps that she has an outgoing personality and calm demeanor was wonderful on a stressful but blissful day. Sarah communicated always on a timely manner and was prompt for appointments. I would definitely use her services again.

I could not have been happier for choosing Sarah to do my hair and make up for my wedding. She was so fun to talk to and easy going. She was always quick with replying to my emails. Sarah was awesome! I found her online, we had never met until our wedding day and was nervous about what I was going to get! She did airbrush makeup on me and an updo for hair and hair for the mom's. She was so great to talk to and so easy going. I would not hesitate to recommend her!

I am very happy I have find Sarah . She is very nice , always replay my E-mail, and she is on time ! Actually she came 15 mint earlier that our booking time! She is very experienced, giving me advised on the hire style, make up colors, she will do a design for you! And, she is funny too, we had a great time talking about all funny things, and it helped me to relax. Most importantly , she helped me to put on my dress as well. Sarah and the Whik'd team were wonderful to work with. Sarah worked on my hair and make-up, while the rest of her team did my wedding party. I was extremely pleased with the way everything turned out. Let me tell you, whatever she uses is like magic. I cried the entire ceremony for a whole 15 minutes straight and my makeup did not budge. I wiped and blotted and it still looked flawless. I highly recommend Sarah and her team.

We could not have been happier with Sarah and her Whik'd team on the day of my best friend's wedding. Sarah was prompt and professional in all of our communications regarding availability, price, etc. We found her and her team, on the day of, to be fun, energetic, accommodating, and best of all, very talented with hair and makeup. While searching the internet for a hair & makeup personal for my 10-year wedding vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii, I found Sarah... Wow!!! What a gem she turned out to be. Speedy and prompt replies to my emails made me feel comfortable right away.

On the day of our big event, she arrived a little early (great!) and we started talking about what I wanted, the type of ceremony, etc. While I had no idea what I wanted, I told her what I did NOT want and right away she got to work. Talking with her while she going about her business was so easy and I she made me feel very relaxed. The conversations flowed very easily and we talked about many things... It was almost like catching up with a long-lost friend.

Once she was finished and I looked in the mirror, I looked great! She absolutely nailed the look I was going for, even if i didn't know it myself. Thank you so much. My hair & makeup held up until way past 1:00 am.

I would definitely recommend Sarah without hesitating.

Sarah and her team are UH-MAY-ZING. I was in another wedding that was 2 days before mine, and the MUA for that wedding was sh*t compared to Sarah. Sarah and her team were all great, funny, so easy to talk to (I felt like they were all my girls), and I was quite honestly so sad when they were all done and were leaving.

My girls looked FABULOUS, all their makeup was flawless and gorgeous, and their hair was awesome. I couldn't stop staring at them and was in absolute awe at how they all looked. And NO ONE complained or had to run to the bathroom to fix anything after the team left! Since we weren't so happy with the previous MUA, I have to say I was absolutely ecstatic.

I LOVED my hair and makeup. It stood up through tears, kisses, hugs, and all day and night! I didn't have to touch anything up (besides my lips of course), and even though my updo fell, it didn't look like it was messed up. It looked like it was meant to look that way!

I highly recommend you booking Whik'd for your special event. Sarah and her team are amazing and if I ever need her services again she will definitely be the first person I call.

Being a low maintenance hair/make up person myself, I was nervous about getting it professionally done and that it might not look like me. I should NOT have been worried at all--you are in GREAT hands with Sarah! Not only is she really nice, she is excellent at what she does! She made me look natural and got my hair perfect, based on very little direction from me..and it all photographed so well! She is incredibly accommodating and will put you at ease. Plus, she came all the way to the North Shore for no additional cost. Don't hesitate to book her! :)

Finding a hair and makeup artist for our wedding was definitely on my priority list. I emailed a few other makeup artists after I looked at their hair and makeup portfolios. Sarah was the first one to respond. She always got back to me within 24 hours. Whenever I had questions she would email me immediately. She definitely took the stress off this bride. I immediately decided to book Sarah for my destination wedding in Hawaii. I am so glad she was available and I would highly recommend any bride getting married in Hawaii to book Sarah asap. She also brought an assistant who was also very good.
The mother of the bride and mother of the groom were giving Sarah ideas of what they wanted their hair to look like and Sarah pulled out her ipad and showed them pictures of hair and makeup. They both picked from Sarah's ipad. Sarah and her assistant also did a wonderful job on the grandmother of the groom.
I looked through her makeup portfolio but it was so hard for me to decide how I wanted my makeup to be because I generally do not wear a lot of makeup. I told her I trusted her and she could do whatever she wanted but my only request was that I look pretty. She went above and beyond my expectations. I looked in the mirror after she finished my hair and makeup and I felt absolutely beautiful. She is truly amazing and made me feel and look beautiful!
Another positive about Sarah is that with everyone that was in her chair she would talk to them and really take the stress off of them with her easy going personality. She was fun and she did not rush anyone. Everyone looked gorgeous.
Sarah, Thank You so much for adding to the joy of our wedding day. You did an amazing job and I looked and felt beautiful. If you're a bride looking for a hair and makeup artist then look no further and book Sarah. She responds promptly and her work is amazing. She goes above and beyond.

Sarah from Whik'd Hawaii is an amazing artist with an equally amazing personality!! I had only had my make-up and hair done professionally a couple of times and she outdid those other times by miles!! Not only did she make me feel comfortable with her easygoing personality, she made me feel like a true princess! (and seriously, isn't that all we really want on our wedding day??) My hair and make-up came out gorgeous and even little boys who came to the wedding were calling me "the White Princess"! ^_^ She works quickly and is just so amazingly skilled!! My hair and make-up stayed perfectly in place until the very end of the night and was worth every penny!! Thank you so much, Sarah!! I've never felt more beautiful!!

As a mainlander over 8 hours away, I had to leave a lot of trust in my wedding planner and not being able to do a trial run of hair and make-up stressed me out a little. I have had my hair and make-up done numerous times over the years (dances, modeling, pageants, etc.) and I know the wrong shade of blush or the wrong contour of eyeliner can make or break your photos. I have no idea what I was so stressed out about SARAH O IS AMAZING. I have honestly never looked or felt more beautiful in my entire life. My hair and make-up held up all day in the humidity and all night through a serious post-wedding dance party :) I wish I could keep her in my pocket and take her with me wherever I go. She is truly an artist.

I think Sarah O. Is fabulous! I loved my bridal makeup!! My makeup wasn't overdone and I still looked like myself (which is what I wanted)! I guess the best compliment was coming from my husband...he loved it! :)

I chose Sarah because she does airbrushing. I was skeptical at first but the airbrush didn't stain my clothes at all! I got my arms and back airbrushed so I was worried. Sarah assured me it was going to be fine and she's right!

Overall I felt quite beautiful and more confident that day!

Sarah's a great person and she's easy to talk to. You can tell she loves what she does! I definitely would recommend her! Thanks Sarah!! You rock! :)
