Our wedding was last weekend and we used West Point Tours for our shuttle transportation. Our driver was excellent, the charter bus was beautiful and clean, and both trips were punctual. Having transportation go smoothly was a big priority because we had a lot of out of town guests. Thanks for helping to make our wedding day feel seamless and stress-free! -

We had a great experience using West Point Tours for our wedding. Mary was very easy to communicate with. She even reached out to us a few weeks before our wedding because they became aware of a road closure that would impact our route, so we could adjust our departure time for our guests accordingly. I really appreciated her being proactive about this! Our drivers Colleen and Dee were also excellent. The school buses we chartered were clean, air conditioned, and comfortable. -

West Point Tours provided the bus transportation to and from our wedding. They were prompt, professional, and just really nice people to work with! If you're looking for a vendor to help with transportation, they are a great value! -

Ruta Sent on 07/12/2016We booked three school buses to take guests from Kingston, NY, to Kerhonkson, NY, for our wedding on 7/9/2016 and had one stay one as a night shuttle. The night shuttle made round trips from the venue back to Kingston at 11 pm, 12:30 am, and 2 am. The buses were clean and comfortable and arrived to the venue on time for the ceremony. The night shuttle ran only a few minutes behind but it wasn't a big deal -- we were all having a great time and no one wanted to leave the reception anyway. I would recommend West Point Tours in a heartbeart! -

Diana Sent on 06/07/2016We used WPT for our round trip transportation between the venue and the hotels, as well as for my family going to and from the house and the venue. WPT was great to work with. I had a lot of changes in our itinerary with pickup times and number of passengers, and they were professional and understanding throughout all the changes. Julie was a pleasure! If you're marrying in the Hudson Valley, I highly recommend them! The drivers were all professional and friendly. -

Barbara Sent on 11/09/2014Very easy to arrange transportation for my September 2014 wedding at Bear Mountain, even when we had to make changes about a month out. The bus was clean and comfortable, and the driver was polite and on-time for each of the pick-ups/drop-offs (9 in all). The only thing I heard from one of my guests was that he was not sure of the exact location for one of the drop-offs, so I would advise you to designate a person who will be riding to know the itinerary and be able to confirm locations if necessary. Though, I think this would probably be a good idea for any transportation company. -

Overall, we had a great experience working with West Point Tours. We worked with Jeanne to rent a 44 passenger school bus for our wedding in the Hudson Valley. Jeanne let us know when we initially called that our wedding weekend was a busy fall weekend, so we should book asap to confirm. This was a helpful tip and we booked right away.
Our bus schedule was complex as it had multiple hotel stops in advance of the wedding ceremony and after the reception. We did hear that the bus driver actually missed a stop in advance of the wedding, so we did have to delay the start time and a handful of guests were late to the wedding. However, everyone ultimately got to where they needed and people appreciated the service. We had a really fun bus ride on the way to our after party and I enjoyed speaking with the driver. He was very kind and shared sentiments that our DJ / wedding sounded really fun. I’d definitely recommend if you have a larger wedding and concerned about how people are going to get to / from a wedding. They will work with you and help solve this logistical challenge! -

Rebecca Sent on 10/02/2017I found this to be the most challenging piece to coordinate and West Point Tours was so responsive and flexible throughout the process. We needed to change the times and locations of our drop off/pick up a few times and they were so helpful in scheduling and confirming my details. I was also nervous about traffic and the buses showing up at the specific locations on time, but everything worked out great and the drivers were so nice. We rented two 55 passenger buses and one 23 passenger bus and I found them to be the most affordable in the area. Would definitely recommend them! -

The best thing I can say about West Point Tours is that I barely thought about them on my wedding day. We had buses arranged to bring guests from the hotel and a nearby train station and take them back afterwards. All the buses were so on time that by the time I remembered to think about it they were already where they were supposed to be. It made the whole evening so much more enjoyable for us and for our guests! Arrangements were easy and gratuity was included in the quote so we didn't have to worry about that either -

I needed a shuttle service from our hotel (Poughkeepsie Grand), and our venue (Bad Seed Cider Co). I knew I didn't want a coach bus so I contacted West Point Tours knowing they offer school buses. The woman I worked with via email was prompt with her responses and easy to work with.
Of the 10+ companies I contacted, this was the only one with a VERY reasonable rate. Although many wedding guests ended up driving (as it wa sa local wedding), we have about a dozen take the bus to and from the venue without issues.
The driver was professional, friendly and most importantly, a good driver as all trips to and back went without incident.
