I won’t lie I was afraid to go wedding dress shopping as a plus size woman but Wendy’s made me feel beautiful. I was able to try on so many dresses in my size range and they still had plenty of options. The dress I chose was actually on a mannequin in the window display so I felt well represented. Plus I was able to purchase my dream dress wayyyy under budget

I found the dress
I was able to find my dress without any pressure to buy right away, it was at my own pace. My consultant was very knowledgeable and helpful. She let me make my own choices but offered lots of tips and advice. The dresses were gorgeous and affordable as well. I highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Wendy’s! Some things which stood out to me most were my consultant’s ability to receive my feedback on each dress and then know exactly which dresses to pull from the store to meet my preferences, the ease of trying on the dresses and the way the consultant could make it “fit” just right using the clips, her knowledge of each individual dress, her joy and kindness, and especially her generosity as she brought down the price of my dress to meet my budget! From my experience, the consultant makes or breaks your experience! I will never forget this experience.

Wendy's Bridal was AMAZING to work with!!! They were not originally on our list when visiting the Reading Bridal District, but after visiting two other smaller boutiques that just didn't feel right, we stopped by Wendy's on a whim. They were more than accommodating and took me in right away even without an appointment. I found my dream dress and the process of trying on, purchasing, and picking up was a breeze! I would recommend Wendy's Bridal to all brides.

My agent was Tiffany and she was amazing! She was very personable and made me feel like I had known her for years. She paid attention to my needs and what I wanted in a dress and delivered. It felt more private and in an intimate setting when coming out in the dress. It was a huge difference from the previous appointment that I had just came from where the agent was working with two brides at a time and both groups were clumped together while I stood there awkwardly in a dress waiting for her to get done. I loved Wendy’s and would highly recommend them.

I had an incredible time with my family and friends at Wendy's! Michelle was incredible and picked up on my style so quickly. The prices were surprisingly great( a lot of options at or under $1000)! I found my dream dress after only trying on less than 10 dresses! Cant wait for it to come in and get altered!

My experience at Wendy’s this past weekend was incredible! I went dress shopping with my mom and dad and my consultant was Michelle. Words do not describe how wonderful she was to work with. I feel blessed I had such an incredible woman to help lead the appointment because she was the perfect speed to get me in and out of dresses, showed a veil with each dress, and gave great feedback and advice. Walking out, I told my mom that she truly made the experience fun. Every dress I tried on I felt beautiful in and I’m happy to say I said yes to the dress! Thank you Wendy’s and thank you Michelle!

Best appointment of the day!
To start, I grew up in Cincinnati but live in Bryan, Ohio now so booked as many appointments as I could on a Saturday to get an idea of dresses (totally not expecting to pick the dress). The appointment, I actually found my dress which was a different boutique. So we went to my appointment at Wendy's about an hour early to look as possibly bridesmaid dress options (hoping to get online). My consultant Jean was fabulous! She pulled the dress after we told her we probably found the one and let us hang some bridesmaid dresses up with it to see what I liked (before I realized she was my consultant). Then she let me pick out some dresses while she pulled a few of her own, we told her upfront we wanted to try "the dress" on last. Jean was the most personable consultant out there! She was there to help you pick a dress not sell you a dress, she even marked the dress down more than the price tag at the other store! She was super accommodating and when it came time to try the dress we didn't want me to look at myself till I got in front of all the mirrors and she walked me out with my eyes closed and everything. I seriously could not have had a better experience and she was the BEST consultant all day!

Best in the bridal district
I walked in an hour and half before my appointment time begging to be taken early because I just had a disaster appointment down the street. They did not blink an eye to take me early and make sure they did everything to make my experience there amazing! Michelle was amazing and knew exactly how to help me make the big decision. Out of the 3 shops I went into that day, Wendy’s by far the best! Michelle is the best consultant I had all day and made the stress of saying yes to the dress fun and enjoyable! I would tell anyone and everyone, skip all the other stores in the bridal district and go straight to Wendy’s! They weren’t lying when they told me not to worry, that I would find my dress there!

My bridal consultant at Wendy’s Bridal was Michelle. From the moment Michelle introduced herself, she was very personable and treated my family and me like old family friends! The thing that made my dress shopping experience most enjoyable was that Michelle actually listened to my wishes, she wasn’t pushy, and she did not make me feel pressured to make a decision right away. Working with Michelle felt like working with a family member who had my best interest at heart! She was very patient and understanding of my need to process my day, and sleep on it before making a final decision. Michelle then went out of her way to accommodate me and got me in without a follow-up appointment the next day (as I live in Florida and was only going to be in town for the weekend). What’s more is, I was able to buy my dress straight off the rack at a super discounted price and take it home with me to Florida to get it altered! They even allowed me to make multiple payments and took the time to take a payment over the phone, as both, my future mother-in-law and step-mother-in-law helped to pay for my dress. Thanks again to Michelle for helping me find my dream dress for my dream wedding in New Orleans. As they say in NOLA, “Laissez les bon temps rouler!”

Wonderful Experience!
Myself and my two sisters came to the bridal district on May 25th, Mechelle at Wendy’s bridal, was the best consultant we had all day! I had 4 bridal appointments and we ran into a few other shops there on the block in between appointments. Some stores was not very friendly at all!! Later that day When I returned and had no appointment, Michelle took the time to put me back in my two favorite dresses so that I could make a decision. Michelle is an amazing consultant, I would highly recommend her!!

Worth the drive
Drove 1.5 hours for this appointment and it was totally worth it! Everyone was so very sweet and helpful. It only took a few dresses for her to pick up on my style and pick new dresses for me to try. She knew the inventory like the back of her hand and was very quick picking things out and helping me in and out of the dresses. She wasnt pushy at all and was so helpful!

First...I LOVE LOVE LOVED ANNE!
I had just left 2 appointments with no luck and decided to call Wendy’s in Cincinnati to see if they had any last minute appointments. They did! I had been disappointed with the prior two places and somewhat expected the same there but I was so wrong! I was greeted warmly and explained my budget with no judgement. Anne was my consultant and she was so much fun. She suggested a dress that I would have never picked and it wound up being the one and it was way under budget! During my visit, she asked me questions about my relationship and was genuinely interested. She made me feel so comfortable that it felt like I was trying on dresses with a long time friend.

The consultants at Wendys can't be topped
My experience at Wendys was exceptional and I can't say enough great things about my consultant, Jean. I was a little reserved at first because It doesn't look like there are a ton of dresses. However, I quickly learned that they only carry quality dresses and Jean's knowledge of each dress was infinite. With every dress I tried on, we talked about what I did or didn't like. With that feedback, she went and pulled one or two dresses until we ended up with my dream dress that I couldnt stop staring at in the mirror. Will be returning to look at bridesmaids dresses!

Amazing experience
My experience here was absolutely amazing! My appointment was at 10 and they open at 10, but they lets us in early rather than making us wait outside, and as soon as we walked in we were being taken care of! I was super nervous because it was my first time dress shopping, but I didn’t need to be Michelle was the best!! She helped me pick out dresses that I was looking for and even a few I didn’t think I would like just to keep my options open. She went above and beyond while helping me! They have a great selection of dresses for plush size brides and in general! I highly recommend Wendys bridal!

Great places and great dresses!
I called ahead looking for a specific dress that recently had been discontinued, and thankfully they had a sample and it was in my size! My consultant (Jean) was amazing and positive and realistic. She wasn't pushy or any of those qualities that can make you dread going dress shopping. My dress was discounted as a sample, and jean helped me find the perfect sash. She also gave me the opportunity to try on several other dresses to make sure my first pick was "the one." The selection was great, which as a plus size woman I am always concerned about. None of their dresses were the ugly, cheap-looking "big girl dress" you see everywhere else. They had many samples actually in my size in lovely gowns of all shapes and sizes. She put me in the veil and the look was complete. She didn't push me to buy a veil there- she took the time to get to know my vision for my day and that I had a very specific veil in mind that they didn't carry.

The whole family was there!
I moved to Dayton OH from Niagara Falls NY, so when I had all of my grown girls here I made my first appointment to try on dresses. I was never nervous and anxious about trying on dresses, to the point of tears at one point. I had a total of 6 family members with me, and that made it more stressful. It ended up being an amazing experience! They listened and answered questions, and were very professional and comforting. I actually ended up getting the 3rd dress I tried on. I am so glad I decide to make Wendy's my first choice

I loved going to Wendy's Bridal! Anne was my consultant and she was amazing! She knew exactly what I wanted after trying on just a couple of dresses. She was super nice and knew where to find dresses for me to try! The store was very organized and easy to find dresses that were the style I liked. The other employees here were great too! I went to a couple of other bridal stores and did not have half as great of an experience there as I did here!

Michele did an amazing job finding my dream dress! She was such a sweetheart being patient, easy to talk with, and made the whole experience so comfortable. I went to Wendy’s, just to browse. I was told I couldn’t be helped without an appointment but I was welcome to look around, which I completely understand and had no problem making an appointment for another day. After looking around for a few minutes, Michelle stopped to ask my wedding date and told me if I could wait a few minutes she would be happy to squeeze me in and work with me! She was wonderful! So kind, helpful, and professional. She was so good she helped me find the perfect gown that literally brought me and my wedding party to tears within an hour!! Wendy’s Bridal was my first stop. We were instantly greeted at the door (which was nice because there were so many dresses and it could easily become overwhelming). They told me to walk around and mark a few dresses/styles I liked. Afterwards, my sales consultant, Michelle took those dresses back and got me dressed in the first one. I hated it, and she knew it, so we moved on to the next one. I tried on a total of 4 dresses and the fourth one was it! I fell completely in love with it. Michelle was so complimentary and reassured me that the dress looked gorgeous on me even though it was fitted (which I thought I would hate). She let me play around with different veils and we found the perfect one! The dress was slightly above my price point, but they had a sale going on at the time so that helped! We even picked out my sisters brides maid dress while we were there. For all of this, it took less than 4 hours! It was completely pain-free. I am so thankful to have met Michelle! I would recommend her to any bride! Thanks, Wendy’s Bridal, for making my wedding dress dreams come true!!

LOVED my experience at Wendy’s bridal in Cincinnati. Not only did I find the perfect dress, but the associates reassured me and made me feel so beautiful! The associates took their time, listened to what I wanted, and never once made me feel pressured!
I went to Wendy’s on a Saturday. It didn’t seem extremely busy, but pretty steady and I never felt rushed. Even with multiple brides trying on dresses, they made me feel like I was the only bride there.
I can not recommend them enough, I left Wendy’s bridal with wonderful memories of choosing my wedding gown.

I absolutely had the time of my life over the weekend where I purchased my dream gown from Wendy's Cincinnati. I worked with Jean and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. Jean was extremely knowledgable and helpful throughout this very exciting/stressful process. My daughter and I had gone into Wendys bridal in the Reading district, Reading, Ohio. We went into The stop on a Wednesday, unannounced, and met Tiffany. Tiffany treated us like we had an appointment and helped my daughter experience 5 different styles of gowns. Needless to say she thought she found yer dress. My daughter wanted to have her maid of honor and bridesmaids help with the final choice, so Tiffany looked in her calendar and was booked for the next 3 weeks. Instead of pushing us out she made the appointment for November 4th at 9:30. This was 30 minutes before the shop opened! When Tiffany greeted all 7 of us she had a huge smile and treated the entire party like family. As we were all googling over each dress my daughter became overwhelmed and Tiffany was so good to my daughter, spoke to her like a professional and came back out and explained what my daughter was experiencing. After about 5 minutes my daughter reappeared refreshed and ready to say YES to the dress. My daughter and our entire Party feel in love with “the” dress it was magical as we all knew that the last dress was it because we all started crying like babies...lol. We had visited a lot of the shops in the Reading district to only be met by other shop women who were rude and very disengaged! Wendys, by far, is the best in personal attention, pricing and experience that I could have expected for my daughter! Thank you Tiffany for making this the most memorable experience for “I said Yes to the dress” for my daughter and all of us!!

I was very pleased with Wendys. I actually found my wedding dress at another bridal store in the Reading Bridal District, but kept shopping because it was the first dress I tried on and didn't want to settle. I ended up finding the same exact dress again at Wendys, so by then I knew it was the one. Wendys did a price match with the store I originally found the dress at. I think they originally told me 16-20 weeks delivery time and it was in within 16 weeks. The only thing I can say I disliked about Wendy's was I thought their lighting was very dark compared to any other bridal store I went to. For picture purposes, the lighting was dark and hard to really see the true colors of the dresses when sending to my bridemaids.

This is where I found my dress after only trying on 4 dresses. They have all different price ranges and give you their honest opinion, and suggestions on saving money and looking for alternatives if something you like is out of budget. This place is amazing I wish I had started out shopping for my bridal gown at Wendy's. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating. My consultant Barbara was just incredible, she knew exactly what I needed and was so creative and helpful throughout the entire process. I came in a month before my wedding and even with the short notice I still walked out with the dress of my dreams. I recommend everyone start your shopping here and there is no better consultant than mrs. Barbara!

One of the managers helped me and she was so wonderful! They will help you into the dresses if you would like. She was so kind and you could tell she really enjoyed her job. To confirm that I found the right dress, I went across the street to try on other ones, the dresses and employees did not compare to the ones at Wendys. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on at Wendys! It was a fun day and I highly recommend it!

I had appointments scheduled at three places in Reading Bridal District the day I went dress shopping and Wendy's was not one of them. We finished my first appointment early and I saw a dress in Wendy's window that I loved, so we walked in. I was told that I couldn't try on dresses without a consultant, and all the ladies were busy, but they would make note of me being there if someone finished early. Within a few minutes, Ann was able to take me back to try on some dresses that I had picked out while I waited. After trying on two dresses and not leaving the room, I know Ann was getting worried, but the second I put on the third dress, I had my bridal moment and Ann could see it. She was so excited to walk out with me to show my entourage and helped fluff the dress, find a veil that matched beautifully, and gave suggestions for hair styles. She even stepped away to let me process and call my sister and have time with my entourage, so I wouldn't feel pressured. I stood in the dress for about an hour, wandered around the store in it, and the whole time, Ann just smiled and helped with anything I needed. Wendy's was an amazing experience and Ann was fantastic! I encourage all you Cincinnati brides to make an appointment with Ann!

I found my wedding gown at Wendys Bridal in the Reading Bridal District on Benson St. I absolutely loved my experience here. I literally went to every bridal shop in the tri-state to find my dress. I had tried on so many, the sales associate that helped me on the 4 occassions that I came to Wendys was my reason that the experience was so enjoyable, she really is talented at what she does. It is a heartfelt, emotional purchase and I was torn on what to do. She was patient as I tried 2 different dresses multiple times and finally made my decision on my 4th time in the store. She recommended a cathedral veil which went perfectly and something I never imagined I would choose. She finds out about your style, your venue and your vision and really pairs everything to help you find your dream dress. I loved the experience and it was meaningful that I found out afterwards my Mom had got her wedding dress there as well!

I drove down to Cincinnati for a day of dress shopping after striking out in my hometown (Columbus). Wendy's was the last place I tried dresses on. I tried on my gown at 3 different stores but ultimately bought it at this location. The other stores were pushy and rude but the sales woman here was polite, helpful, and not pushy. Because I did not feel pressured I could finally make my final decision and buy my dress. The sales woman even set up and area for me to pose in my gown and take incredibly awesome pictures. I am so thankful for their kindness and have reccomended the Cinci location many friends who ultimately made their purchases there as well. Thank you for the wondeful service and stunning gown!

Wendy's was great from buying my wedding dress to bridesmaids! My bridesmaids dresses were discontinued and we found out the day we were ordering. Wendy's gave us a bigger discount on the next bridesmaid dress we picked to help compensate for the frustration and increase in dress price. Awesome!

I was on a mission to find my dress in one visit to the Reading Bridal District, mostly because it was when my friends could be with me to offer opinions. Wendy's was the last of the 3 places were visited; my options were somewhat limited as a plus size bride on a budget. The first place, which was supposed to specialize in my size, was horrible (since no money exchanged hands, I could not review them.) The second place was overwhelming, and paraded you through the lobby with undergarments showing; however, I did find a dress here that I liked a great deal, but did not feel like 'the one.'
My consultant at Wendy's was perfect. She allowed us space to look, but made herself available for assistance. I was very comfortable with her, such that I didn't feel awkward about my size. She didn't pressure me about choices, and really seemed to understand what I was looking for. After trying on 19 dresses, I was ready to go back and purchase the dress that I liked, but she pulled out one more that she thought I would like. After adding a belt, I fell in love with it, and it was 'the one.' They were realistic about predicting the timelines, and my dress actually arrived early. I also used their alterations shop; Sohela was wonderful. My dress fit perfectly, and she was able to expertly stitch my undergarments into my dress.
One of my maids used the Columbus store for her dress (we didn't use a specific style); she mentioned that her experience was great, as well. I would highly recommend Wendy's to anyone!

I see a lot of negative comments but I had a great experience at Wendy's bridal. Barbara was so helpful and was able to help me find I dress when I didn't know what I was looking for. I had come early from an appointment from the bridal place across the street and they had no problem taking me early! I was really confused as the other place had me pull dresses (none of the undergarments that even David's provides) and when I was stuck in what I wanted, offered no help. Barbara was able to take the confusion and help me pick the perfect dress. I just felt done after I tried my first dress on.
I'm so glad I listened to her about sizing! I went bigger than what I thought due to a bridesmaid's dress I had purchased. Well when my wedding dress came in, it fit (unlike the bridesmaids dress). My dress came in 6 days after I ordered it; so I wasn't sure what to do. They let me keep it until the original date it was expected in.
The only slight problem was when I called to make an appointment to pick up my dress, they gave me the hours and said to come whenever. That's not true and you need an appointment. Luckily when I called before making the drive, they were able to take me anyways. The lady was really nice and was telling me about alternations.
I've had such a great experience with Wendy's and although my wedding is far away, I'm so glad I bought my dress here.

Amanda was fantastic, they were organized and so helpful! She cared about my opinion and made sure to ask me in private how I felt about dresses before we showed the group. It is hard picking out a dress with a entourage with tons of opinions. They provide undergarments to help you fit into dresses properly and are very helpful with getting dresses on and off! I would HIGHLY recommend Wendy's! Their selection is beautiful - tons of designer brands and quite a few off the rack selections as well. I chose a Allure Bridal dress and it is to die for! I cannot wait until it comes in!

I had the pleasure of working with Mandi and Barb. I have to admit, i am not "typical" in my enthusiasm for wedding preparations. In fact, i dreaded the dress shopping experience and had a few failed attempts before peeking into Wendy's one Friday afternoon. The store was quiet and that was already helpful. Mandi, a very down-to-earth, pleasant woman helped me with my search. Barb joined in the fun and creatively put together different belt combinations to spice up the dress. She added ease and comfort to the experience. I bought my dress that afternoon and would recommend either one of them to anyone who may relate to my experience with wedding dress shopping.
I was so taken by Barb's ease with the process that i told my fiancé to set up an appointment with her a few weekends later. She found her dress and we couldn't be more grateful. Thanks, Barb and Mandi!

I picked Wendy's Bridal for my very first wedding dress experience. It was more perfect than I could have imagined. The staff were ALL very friendly and relaxed and accommodated my large bridal party with gracious hospitality, and didn't even mind at all when they started pulling dresses of the racks for me to try on. I worked with Ann, who was amazing, and later that day when I came back to buy the first dress I tried on there, a couple of the other ladies who were just as kind. I found my dream dress on sale and everyone in my large party loved it. I would highly recommend Wendy's to any and every bride looking for a unique, friendly, laid back, accommodating and attentive staff.

We went in to Wendy's just looking for a dress that I had seen online. Surprisingly, they had it on the sample sale rack that day and I got it for half price!! They were very flexible since we did not have an appointment, but they were great about fitting me in and I ended up getting my dress THAT day! It was the only one I tried on and loved it! They had it cleaned and back to me in about a month, and then I also bought all of my bridal accessories there too. It was a great bridal store! :)

Wendy's was very easy to work with and they have a large variety of styles. They were very careful to keep my budget in mind which I appreciated. We had a small incident with the bridesmaids dresses, but they fixed it and made everything right very quickly. Alterations were a bit expensive, but I was ready for that.
