Wendy was everything and more as our wedding photographer. She not only captured our day beautifully, but also brought such a calming, grounding presence exactly when we needed it most. She guided our family photos with confidence and grace, keeping everyone organized without ever feeling rushed. She even photographed my aunt’s wedding over a decade ago, and her talent, professionalism, and warmth have only grown since.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Wendy for our May 2024 wedding in Washington, DC. We couldn't be happier with the experience and the results.

Wendy's warmth and genuine interest in our story made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. She did an outstanding job working within our abbreviated timeline, including a special process for efficiently getting all the large group, small group, and individual shots we wanted. Wendy is a low-key rockstar. She and her partner brought the best out of my wife and I on our wedding day. Carefree, at ease, funny and gregarious—she helped us capture the moment. We just got our wedding photos back yesterday and can’t wait to revisit the collection again and again and again.

Best photographers I could have asked for

We met Wendy and her wife at an open house at our wedding venue early on. I had no idea what to look for in a photographer apart from "make sure their style matches yours," but we chatted with Wendy and hit it off. I wasn't sure what my style was, but I loved her portfolio--turns out, I like pictures with a lot of nature and a nice balance of posed and candid shots. She has such an eye for capturing both of those. Working with her was amazing. Neither of us are used to cameras and she made it easy to relax and just have fun, both with the engagement shoot and at the wedding. She's also just really playful, so if you're looking to smile and laugh and have amazing pictures, Wendy is absolutely for you!!

By Far The BEST Photography Team

Wendy and Liz are absolutely incredible. They did our engagement and wedding photos in Annapolis. I cannot say enough great things about them. First of all, Wendy is a creative genius. She has the most incredible eye and creates storybook perfect photos. Wendy and Liz are extremely quick to reply to emails, are extremely flexible, and they go above and beyond to capture your day perfectly. They are both extremely sweet, personable, and you can tell they love what they do. I will, without a doubt, hire Wendy & Liz for any family photos or other photography projects in the future.
If you are on the fence about who to hire as a photographer or about the pricing for photography, I can promise you that you cannot go wrong with Wendy and that it will be worth every single penny - and then some.

Best "Vendor" of the Day! We

From our first phone call, I felt like Wendy really cared about US and our wedding day. Before our big day, we met Wendy for happy hour to get to know each other better and plan. Leaving that happy hour, I was not only more confident in my choice to use Wendy, but also both my husband and I wanted to hang out with her again. She's so personable and easy to talk to. Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to Wendy and her partner, Liz. They went the extra mile to make sure that they got all the special moments and details. All of the beautiful the pictures are proof! Talking after the wedding, my husband and I agreed that Wendy was our favorite vendor of the day, so friendly, no issues, and worth every penny

Amazing Experience and Even More Amazing Pictures

Wendy and Liz are the dynamic duo. They are personable and warm and made my partner and I feel so comfortable. For the formal group shots, they provided helpful direction and were able to get such great and unique photos in a short amount of time. Throughout the entire wedding day and evening they were able to capture all the important moments without being pushy or controlling. In fact, many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with the photographers and the way that they blended in so well. Bonus points for including our dog and working so well with her!

They have a very quick turnaround time and sent us the finished photos while we were still on our honeymoon! We still haven’t picked out photos for the wedding album- it’s too hard because there are too many good ones to choose from! I have already recommended them to several people and would use them again for an important event in a heartbeat.

Wendy Hickock Photography Is Ze Best!

Where do I begin? Wendy (and Liz!) were so awesome to work with leading up and during the wedding! I knew when we were frolicking around Old Town laughing during our engagement photos that we made the right decision for our wedding day. They captured our wedding day so beautifully and fit right in with our family and friends. Wendy is great with navigating family dynamics and taking photos quickly. I also appreciated that Wendy was flexible with us. Like most brides, I was trying to keep costs down. She provided me with different package options and did not try to sell me on things I did not need. I feel like we got two amazing friends out of it too. Great experience!

We hired Wendy for our November 2019 Wedding. We loved working with her so much. It’s also great that part of her booking includes an engagement session! My fiancé and I weren’t going to do one but we are so glad we did. My first phone call with Wendy was so great. I felt like I knew her forever. She totally picked up on my feelings and what I wanted for the wedding immediately and made things so easy. On our wedding day her and Liz showed up right on time and were so lovely. Taking posed pictures can sometimes be awkward and they made it so fun and easy. I would not only recommend Wendy and Liz but also use them again 100 percent!

Excellent Photographer

My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Wendy Hickok Photography to anyone for any event or occasion whatsoever. We were trying for a wedding celebration a little less structured, with some pictures of family and friends and us on our long-awaited wedding day. In our first meeting, that was basically all I had to share with Wendy, which is not much. She put me at ease immediately with her warm personality and offered many suggestions for things I had not thought of. Our meeting was a chat with a friend that knew how to fill in the blanks. I left confident despite feeling like I had given her nothing much to work with. Wendy's amazing ability to easily create and capture special moments, coupled with her wonderful personality, provided us with wedding photos that are more beautiful than we could have hoped for. Wendy was fantastic with our guests - several later asked if she was a friend of ours (I say Yes to that). She is also highly skilled at providing support to, while somehow taking beautiful photos of, crying Brides and Grooms. I HIGHLY recommend Wendy as your photographer!! She has a vision like no other. She is so personable and professional and very quick to respond to emails. She is passionate and experienced and for someone who didn't really know what to expect when it came to her wedding day, she was a pleasure to work with. She had us fill out a questionnaire, took the time to get to know us as a couple, and met with us before-hand so we could plan out the photos that were important to us the day of so we didn't waste time. We got the best pictures, but also made it to out cocktail hour for a little bit and we didn't even do a first look! She was so efficient and was very quick to get out photographs back to us. Look no further for an amazing photographer, who truly cares about her clients!!

She is the wedding photographer you want

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Wendy for your engagement and/or wedding photos. She has a bright personality, was down to earth and easy to chat with, and on the day of we hardly knew she was there as she captured the most perfect moments. At times she recommended we do something, or get a picture at a certain angle/backdrop and these also turned out incredible. By the way, we were SUPER picky about our photographer and interviews 12 people by phone, looking through the details of the photos online and reviews. She narrowed it down to three and chose Wendy because of the style of her photos, the clarity of her photos, and her awesome communications.

Hire Wendy for Your Wedding!

Wendy is an amazing photographer! She is fun, friendly, professional, and talented! She did our engagement photos & our wedding photos. She returned them timely and they were beautiful. She added a low key, fun vibe to our special wedding day. She took tons of great candid photos out on the dancefloor, which I wasn't expecting, and also captured all of the key moments too. We did a first look and are really glad we did one so we had extra couple photos from our wedding day. I'd definitely recommend Wendy to other brides & hope to use her again in the future!

Wendy made our day. She has mad skills with the camera, that's a fact. But what you don't know until you meet her is that her personality is her super power. She has this gift to be able to make you feel comfortable so she can capture truly genuine moments from your wedding, showing the emotions of the day and making even posed photos look completely natural. Wendy is an absolutely fantastic photographer, and I couldn't be more happy with our wedding photos. For such a significant, exciting, yet potentially stressful event- there two essential things needed: mad photography skills, and a great attitude. Wendy has both of them in buckets (as does Liz her lovely assistant!). The photographs all turned out stunning, capturing the genuine emotion of the day with an careful attention to detail, an eye for catching all the little personal moments, and a beautiful glowing light throughout. The black and white photos are such a great addition; they are all well picked and have such a great depth and contrast. Just as importantly Wendy has such a great personality and ability to put people at ease; the constant laughter in the photos is evidence of that ("I want you to whisper all of your favorite sandwich ingredients into her ear in your sexiest voice..."). She manages to bring the perfect balance of fun and professionalism in, she was extremely responsive to all my requests and questions, and all-in-all really helped make it an amazing day. I can't thank you two enough!

I cannot day enough great things about Wendy! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during both our engagement and wedding pictures. The pictures we have are unbelievably gorgeous and we will treasure them forever. She was fun to work with and she was everywhere but nowhere on the wedding day, which was perfect! She traveled for our wedding and was the one vendor I never had to worry about. She is so organized, easy to talk to, and very reliable.

Wendy has a fantastic personality too and was so fun to work with. We will definitely be working with her in the future for any other pictures we do!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wendy! She photographed our engagement session and wedding in September 2017. She is so talented and a true artist. In addition to her photography skills, she is a great person to work with. She is professional, organized, and fun to work with. We had a wonderful mix of classic portraits, beautiful candids, and creative photos that words cannot do justice. She is extremely prompt in terms of communication via email and phone. Wendy is the bomb!! Her photos are absolutely awesome, but equally important she is SO MUCH FUN. It is important to have a good relationship with your photographer because he/she will be with you for a good chunk of your wedding day. We had so much fun with Wendy and were completely floored by the amazingness of her photos when we got them after our wedding. She did an engagement shoot and our wedding day and had both sets of photos to us within a few weeks.

Fantastic to work with. We did not do an engagement session due to busy schedules and a short engagement, so the first time that we met was the day of the wedding. Did not matter. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride that she's ever seen. Very easy to work with, and she knew our ceremony venue very well (Naval Academy), so she knew where the great photos would be for portraits. She worked wonderfully with the second shooter that she brought for the day as well.

She was FANTASTIC with my flower girls and getting them to laugh and smile for pictures. She was always there when I wanted her, even though I never actually noticed that she was there. (THIS is what you want. Someone who blends in, but is always there to capture the best moments.)

Pricey, yes, but I didn't think that she was above average at all for the area for someone with her level of expertise. And do you really want to skimp on your one chance to get beautiful photos? I didn't think so. You can find cheaper photogs, but that means that you're getting a lower experience level, and we were NOT going to risk that. She was worth it. We got all of our pictures back in about 6 weeks, and now for the rest of my life I can see how beautiful that day was. We only used her for capturing the wedding, but she does offer album services and many other awesome add-ons (engagement session, albums, parents books, etc.).

TOTALLY would recommend.

Wendy is truly the best. She is kind, professional, artistic, creative, skilled, generous, bubbly, energetic & she always makes the subject feel beautiful and special. I have known Wendy for many years and have recommended her to several of my friends and family who have used her services and have all been very pleased with Wendy and her photography. I was so excited when I got engaged and could use Wendy for my own wedding on 9/19/15!!

I've known Wendy for years, and when I got engaged, her name was at the top of my list for our wedding photographer. Wendy is an old friend, so I was already comfortable with her, but she easily put our family, friends, and bridal party at ease and made the day really fun and relaxed for everyone. She has an eye for color and for beautiful compositions--it has been hard deciding which photos to turn into larger prints!

Wendy and her second shooter, Kyle, shot our wedding in April 2015. The week leading up to our wedding was gray, cold, and wet, and we worried that we wouldn't have any flowers or green on the trees on the wedding day. We lucked out and the cherry blossoms bloomed and the flowers popped the day before our wedding....Wendy captured the newness of the spring and the photos are absolutely stunning; we've received so many compliments on them and I've had several people ask for the name of our photographer. We loved her use of color and black and white, and what really sold my husband was the style of photography. We had posed pictures, but even those look very natural, and Wendy focuses on capturing the moments of the day rather than going for a very stylized photo shoot. Wendy and Kyle caught many small moments that day, from newly engaged friends dancing cheek to cheek to the antics of my nieces and the exuberant dancing of our guests to my new husband and I enjoying a quiet minute alone and watching our guests enjoy the reception.

Wendy is very responsive, experienced, and works hard to make sure the day runs smoothly. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Wendy is amazing! Wendy did our wedding day photos and engagement photos. We first came across Wendy's work while looking at wedding venues and were impressed by how clear, bright, and artistic her photo's were. Months later, our wedding planner suggested Wendy and we were thrilled to see those photos we had been admiring were hers. Wendy was such a delight to work with throughout the entire process. She makes a groom who hates getting his pictures taken laugh and calms an anxious brides nerves. Wendy catches all the shots you want and those that you never even knew were there! Wendy makes you laugh through out the day, has toys hidden in her pockets for kids, and dances across the dance floor snapping away. We have received so many compliments on our photos and loved Wendy so much my brother and his fiancé will be using her for their wedding as well. Even the packaging when the final photo's are delivered is beautiful! Thank you for capturing our favorite memories!

I had a shotgun wedding and I searched for all of the photographers in the Annapolis area putting them in order from "liked the most" to least. Wendy was my top pick and I was SO excited when she was able to photograph my wedding on such short notice. I tell everyone if there's one piece of advice I could give when getting married it's make the investment on a good photographer. Wendy is well worth it.

Wendy was professional, kind and very easy to work with. Her photos weren't staged. She watched our family in action and captured shots that blew us away. Her in depth understanding of lighting and appropriate angles made our photos exceptional. She got the files to us very quickly, and the feedback we recieved from friends and family was fantastic. We will definitely use Wendy again for our family photo shoots and will highly recommend her to everyone we know.

What can I say, Wendy was absolutely great to work with! Not only are her photos breathtakingly beautiful, but she is also super personable, puts you at ease in front of the camera, and she is also a very smart and organized businesswoman. Wendy Hickok was the most incredible photographer! When my husband and I originally met with her 15 months before our wedding we knew she was the photographer for us! She made us feel like her closest friends within minutes after meeting her. We unfortunately hired a very bad photographer to take engagement pictures of us on campus where we went to college and after getting those back we were so upset. I called Wendy right away and asked if she would be able to do an engagement session with us even though we originally weren't going to have one with her. She was more than accommodating. The pictures turned out beautiful and we knew we made the right choice! Leading up to the wedding Wendy was so organized and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole experience. The day of the wedding Wendy was perfect. She put us both at ease! Wendy took family and bridal pictures so quick which meant we didn't waste all of our wedding day in front of the camera and were able to enjoy the day. After getting our pictures back we were blown away. They were simply beautiful and she captured everything about our day! We are so lucky to have had her as our photographer. We cannot wait to use her as our photographer for more family memories as the years go on!

Wendy and John were amazing! We felt so comfortable with them throughout the whole wedding. Wendy did our engagement pics for us and we had a wonderful photo session and the pics came out great! Wendy is everything I wanted in a photographer, she's extremely talented and her work alone stood out to me. Even better, she's super sweet and makes you feel comfortable off the bat. I had worried that bringing my dog on our engagement shoot might make things difficult but she took it all in stride and got some amazing shots of both us and our dog. She is very responsive and makes you feel more like a friend than a client. She even fixed my bustle and created a cute updo for my hair after some crazy dancing on the dance floor. I can't wait to see our final pictures, I'm sure they will be as fabulous as she is :)

Wendy was amazing!! We knew right away we wanted her for our wedding! She was so much fun on our engagement shoot and she made us feel at ease. Having her around was like just hanging with a friend. Wendy is everything that you would hope for in a photographer! She is creative with her images, super personable and so much fun to have with you on your wedding day! Everyone in my wedding party loved her, and my husband who doesn't like to smile in photos could do nothing but laugh and smile throughout our photos because of Wendy's great sense of humor! I was getting married in Aruba in Jan. 2013 and a few weeks before the wedding my photographer (based in Aruba) had a heart attack. Wendy photographed my friend's wedding a year prior so I figured I'd give her a call and see if she could fill in last minute. She was able to make the trip and bring along an assistant. She gave us a great deal considering it was so last minute and took amazing photos of our welcome BBQ, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. She has a great personality and really makes you relax when you're taking the photos. It was just like having another friend at the wedding who happened to be taking amazing photos. I HIGHLY recommend her.

We are so happy that we chose Wendy to take our photos. She has shot a ton of weddings at our venue, London Town & Gardens. This was important to us because it is a large venue with many fantastic photo opportunities. As we wanted to limit the time it took to take "posed" photos it was great to know that Wendy knew the venue so well. We let Wendy know what was important to us to have captured on that day and she did an amazing job delivering what we were looking for in a photographer. She also worked very well with our videographer. Since they were both going for the same shots, this was something that could have been difficult, but they worked seamlessly together. I have no idea where to start with Wendy. She is absolutely amazing and we could not be happier with our decision to use her as our wedding photographer. I had consultations with about 4 other photographers and I thought it was going to be a very hard choice because the photographer was one of the things I cared most about but after leaving Wendy's there was no question. Her pictures are absolutely stunning. She has such an artistic eye, our photos were so unique and that's definitely something I wanted in a photographer (the formal pictures she took were also amazing). As far as the business end goes, she was so accomidating with our budget and so responsive to all of my questions. Before the wedding she did an engagement shoot for us and those turned out beautifully. She took us all around the city of Annapolis and we just had so much fun with her. For the wedding, we had a relatively new venue and she hadn't been there before but she made a point to go scout it out so she was prepared for the day of our wedding. We had a photo booth included in the package we chose and our guests loved it! She brought so many props and the guests (plus my husband and me) had so much fun and we got so many compliments. Wendy was so easy to work with, she was so much fun and made everything so easy and enjoyable...we were so comfortable taking pictures with her. We just recently saw all the pictures at a viewing party she had for us and our family at her house and it was awesome. We had champagne and looked at photos and were just absolutely blown away. Everyone who has seen them has been so impressed. She is incredibly talented and so sweet and I HIGHLY reccommend her!!! THANK YOU WENDY!!

I discovered Wendy while looking at wedding photos from the Annapolis Maritime Museum. I was amazed at her creativity and quality of work. Wendy's great personality, professionalism and talent made working with her a breeze. We had a fun engagement shoot with Wendy at Sandy Point State Park and she not only got the nautical feel we were looking for, but also tolerated our two chihuahuas during the shoot. Wendy is a fantastic photographer. At the end of the day, we have amazing photos from our wedding and engagement session that we'll truly cherish for a lifetime. Along with the venue, the photographer was one of my top priorities, and I probably went to over a hundred websites to check out people's portfolios. Wendy's stood out because her images are beautiful, happy, and not too stuffy. She's also a very bubbly, kindhearted person - the kind of person you want ordering you and your family around on the day of your wedding! She was the only person we met in person and we knew right away it was a good fit. Even though it was 107 degrees out on our wedding day, Wendy made all of the formal photos easy, quick, and fun. She was extremely flexible (we live in Alexandria and she trekked down to us for our engagement session during the evening on a weekday), and truly loves seeing her clients happy with their wedding memories. Wendy was incredibly easy to work with - she is fun and spunky and kept everyone in line! Although we haven't seen all of our wedding photos yet, the sneak preview that we have had a chance to look at is great! Along with the traditional family and bridal party photos, Wendy took some very creative/artistic pictures by the Jefferson Memorial that we are in love with. When we took the family photos after the ceremony, Wendy took charge so that we got the pictures over with as quickly as possible. She was also sensitive to the "family dynamic" issues that we needed her to be aware of to avoid uncomfortable and awkward situations. Sometimes it takes Wendy a little longer to respond to emails, but if the rest of the pictures look like the sneak peek, it is worth the wait!

We Absolutely loved working with Wendy (and her 2nd photographer Kyle and her assistant Shannon)! We looked at a quite a few photographers and met with our top choices and thought Wendy would be perfect. She has a great outgoing personality and seemed to really have a passion for what she does. Wendy was so bubbly and outgoing from the first moment we met her. We knew she was the one we wanted when we saw her amazing photos in her studio and then her welcoming smile topped it off! She and her assistant Shannon really captured the beauty of our day with the storm/tornado/water spout that was going on in the distance. Wendy Hickok is amazing. Hiring her to do both our wedding and engagement photos was the best decision we made for our wedding. She is immensely talented, organized, and friendly. Our photos are incredible, and will be treasured for decades to come. She made our signature book for our wedding, which is fabulous. When she sent us the layout, my husband said something to the effect of "Wow - I'm not usually impressed, but I really am with what she did for the layout. Makes me feel even more confident in our decision." Not only is her work exceptional, she is so easy and fun to be around. Having our engagement photos done was the highlight of the wedding year - it was the most fun my husband and I had doing anything relating to the wedding, and perhaps even one of the most fun days we had together in recent memory. We got to know Wendy and spend an afternoon focusing on us and our relationship, instead of minor details of the wedding. Another excellent thing about Wendy is she's great organizing people. My husband and I both have "interesting" family situations, and Wendy was able to eliminate all awkwardness and anger in family photos during the wedding (not an easy feat!). I'm sure most of her clients feel this way, but I feel like we are friends. Some of my out-of-state guests are trying to come up with reasons to hire her for something, anything because they love her so much! I love Wendy, and I know you will too if you give her the chance. We had our first pre-wedding meeting with Wendy in a coffee shop late last year and instantly knew we picked the right photographer. However, we had no idea how truely amazing and talented this woman is. Wendy is not only extreamly professional and her pictures absolutely gorgeous, but she is fun, charming and added so much more to our big day than we could have ever imagined from a photographer. First, she kept my entire family's attention during pictures which is hard to do (professional credit #1), she knew how to capture light and texture (professional credit #2) and she was willing to entertain my sporadic "oh, let's take a photo here" requests with excitement (#3). Wendy did such a wonderful professional job as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos. From the very beginning Wendy was so much fun. I felt very relaxed and natural around her. She is very responsive and professional. When we went for our initial consultation she took a few photos of us and they were awesome. I knew if she could get great pictures of us without any preparation she was very talented.

A few months later she took our engagement photos in Paterson Park. My husband and are both amateur photographers and Wendy’s ability to capture light and emotion are unmatched by other photographers we looked at.

For our wedding Wendy did such a great job. She stayed late and brought along an assistant. She really went above and beyond. My mom particularly hates her photo being taken, but the photos Wendy took of her made her look so beautiful, natural, and relaxed. Since I planned the wedding myself getting photos of details was important to me. I didnt even tell Wendy this... but she took tons of amazing photos of everything from the flowers, to the welcome bags, to the food, the menus, desserts, ect...

We also ordered the fab booth for our reception. A lot of my wedding was DYI including all of the planning. I thought we would be able to fit the fab booth in the tent but it didn’t fit. I was very bummed… it ended up not being a problem because Wendy moved the fab booth inside and it worked out great (probably even better then if it was in the tent). We got some of the best pictures out of the fab booth! It is highly recommended!

Finally, three days before our wedding I got into a horrible car crash and totaled my car. It left me with a huge seatbelt burn on my chest. My dress was off the shoulder and my chest was on full display. During the wedding I used some cover-up but the bruising and open sore showed. When my husband and I looked through all our photos at Wendy’s studio we were so surprised that Wendy airbrushed out every photo that the sore showed! There were almost 1000 photos! Wendy truly went above and beyond. I will continue to hire her when I get pregnant, have kids, and any other occasion I need a professional photographer.

Wendy was a pleasure to work with and the pictures she takes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Wendy was always friendly & professional to work with. From the start of my wedding planning, photography was always very important to me and I felt very confident working with Wendy throughout the planning process. Hurricane Irene hit the day of our wedding and Wendy and her assistant (also amazing) came through with flying colors. easiest review to write thus far. wendy rocks. photography was my number one priority when planning our wedding which is why it was the first thing i booked. wendy was easy to communicate with and instantly made us feel like old friends (comfort is huge when you're posing in front of a camera and not used to it).

on the day of the wedding, wendy was on time, professionally dressed, and fun to be around. also a huge plus, i barely noticed her. i know she was everywhere, snapping away...but she's so experienced at what she does that she's not distracting at all.

Wendy was amazing!! She really made you feel comfortable when she was taking pictures. My husband is not a picture fan but after we took our engagement photos, he was hooked! Wendy is a ton of fun to be around which makes the taking a million pictures easier to handle. Her work is awesome. My husband and I both said I think we found our lifetime photographer. I would recommend Wendy for any type of photos that you need! She is great!!

What a blessing to have Wendy capture our special day through her eyes! She has a wonderful talent. She is so friendly, and open to all ideas with her photographs. We never even knew she was there on our wedding day, yet she managed to capture every detail, and all of the emotions with her camera! Definately money well spent!

Wendy was really great to work with and made us feel really comfortable right from the beginning! We had a lot of fun with her whenever we were together. The engagement photos she gave us were amazing and we are anticipating the same with the wedding day photos! We are so excited to get them back! She gave us good advice and was able to roll with the punches when need be. I would recommend her to anyone!

Wendy was our photographer for our wedding and I can't say enough good things about her! I've already recommended her to a couple of my friends.

We had a courthouse ceremony followed by a reception two days later and Wendy came to both events. Our photos from both days are gorgeous and we'll treasure them forever. Wendy has a great personality that allows her to blend in but also make people feel comfortable around her which results in some amazing shots.

Also, Wendy had our photos edited and our online gallery posted while we were still on our honeymoon!!! I could not believe the quick turnaround time. We're so glad we had Wendy stour events. Our family still raves about how amazing she was every time we talk about the wedding!

Wendy is AMAZING. I've watched her career grow & knew I wanted to hire her years ago - possibly even before I met my now husband. She went above and beyond not only in her role as a photographer, but to share and help handle some of the bumps of wedding planning with her years of experience as a vendor. Not only was she willing to travel to our wedding site in Shenandoah National park, but she was EXCITED about it and went out of her way to make it a great day!!! I don't want to add too many details lest she have to outdo herself EVERY weekend - but she does that already. She did our engagement shoot in Sept 11 so we know we'll get quality shots - we can't wait to see them! Book her early folks!

I had very high expectations of my photographer, as I knew my wedding pictures would be what I’d have to enjoy for years to come. From our first meeting, my fiancé and I felt immediately comfortable with Wendy. She is extremely easy-going, personable and not to mention, just fun and silly! These are such important qualities to have for both of us to feel at ease with her on our special day and also for our guests. You don’t realize how much time you spend with your photographer; so I knew right away that Wendy would be perfect! And she exceeded my expectations – everything from our engagement session to our actual wedding day to the planning of our wedding album. She stayed true to those qualities.

The photographs she takes are truly amazing – there are so many I love that I had a hard time choosing between all of them. She has a great artistic eye and she’s willing to go above and beyond to capture the moment! Thank you Wendy for being part of our special day!

Wendy was an amazing photographer. From working in a beautiful engagement shoot, to capturing our full wedding day (which ended up being quite long) - she didn't miss a beat. She makes you feel 100% comfortable and have fun, resulting in great candid shots. She knew so much about the London Town site as well - getting the best lighting options outside throughout the evening. Our friends and family have reached out saying how much they love the photos, and so do we.

I am so glad I chose Wendy as our wedding photographer! Her photos are unique, creative, and so stunning!!!!! Friends and family cannot say enough about all of our engagement and wedding photos.

Of all the photographers I contacted, Wendy was the only one who mentioned getting to KNOW my husband and I before the event. She met with us and really tried to get a sense of who we are and what we wanted out of our wedding photos. She made us feel like our event was her top priority and she was very professional and flexible. She brought a great sense of fun to the event which made us more comfortable in front of the camera.
