My husband and I chose Wellesley College Club because of the flexibility in their service/wedding reception package. We are very satisfied and appreciate their help. Maria and her colleagues were extremely helpful in planning our wedding reception at Wellesley College Club in May 2019. She always got back to us within a day or so when we had questions. They accommodated to our requests in every way and were able to make great suggestions. Every single one of my guests was happy with the reception and kept telling us that they had a great time at the party.

Everyone at the Wellesley College Club was professional and responsive. It is unusual that the host can enjoy the event, but because of the quality of the staff, I was able to do just that.

Our guests enjoyed the food and the waitstaff was very attentive.

Our guests had a great time and those who stayed over said the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was a nice way to start the day.

The only disappointment was that we could not take advantage of the patio since the outdoor temperatures was over 100°.

I encourage anyone planning a party to check out the WCC and ask for Maria.

I can not speak highly enough about the Wellesley College Club and Maria. We had our daughter's wedding there this past weekend. The Club was the perfect venue. The location is beautiful and the facilities very comfortable. The views of the lake and surrounding areas are magnificent. The campus provides many lovely picture backdrops. The food at the Club is top rate, which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We were amazed with the varied menu choices from which we were able to choose. The ease of getting to the location and the convenient parking all added to a 100% venue.
I had very specific ideas about every detail concerning the wedding. Maria was a pleasure to work with over the months of planning. When I asked for her opinion, she shared with me helpful input. She has exquisite taste and a great eye for details. However, when I did not ask for her opinion, I appreciated that she did not make suggestions, but instead simply executed my requests.
We found the Club's wedding package, reasonably priced, given the quality of the venue as well as both the quality and quantity of the food and beverages.
If I could give the Wellesley College Club and Maria more than five stars I would! :)

Our wedding at the Wellesley College Club was incredibly beautiful, inviting and warm. Maria is an experienced planner who guided us through the process and helped us throughout the wedding ceremony and reception. The food was fabulous. The views of the lake are gorgeous. Our guests enjoyed drinks on the patio. I could go on and on with our gratitude ... but for now - Thank you Maria and WCC!

Wellesley College Club has a wonderful staff and fantastic food.

The Wellesley College Club was the venue for our daughter's wedding earlier this month The location on the Wellesley College Campus is beautiful, elegant, and accessible, with plenty of easy parking. The ceremony was in the upstairs large room with a magnificent view of the lake. If it had not rained very heavily the previous evening, we might have had the ceremony our on the lawn, but, in retrospect, we were delighted with the inside, very comfortable room with a floor-to-high-ceiling view of the lawn and lake. And we had lemonade available at the back of the room, so the wait for the ceremony was quite delightful! Then, when there was no rain the actual day of the wedding, the cocktail hour was out on the lovely patio and the wedding photos were out on the lawn, overlooking the lake.
We had a buffet dinner with set tables in the main dining room, just inside from the patio. We were able to choose a remarkably wide menu including both hot food (salmon, chicken piccata, and pasta primavera) and interesting breads, cold cuts, and grilled vegetables for sandwiches. I was particularly pleased when the father of the groom passed by me with his plate, completely happy with what he had been able to choose: he had made himself a large roast beef sandwich on a fresh croissant with plenty of a beautiful arugula salad. It made me very happy to have made him happy.
The service was perfect, helpful, and experienced. The Director of catering helped me stay within my budget and it came to virtually the exact amount we had planned to spend from the very beginning.
On a final note, we took rooms in the Wellesley College Club hotel for several bridesmaids, and the bride and groom. The convenience of this cannot be overstated. Although, frankly, these rooms are not as large or as modern as might be desired, their accessibility made them perfect.
My daughter and I spent a year planning the wedding, and the Wellesley College Club delivered everything we hoped for.

The College Club made our dream wedding come true on a campus that I so love. I am so grateful to Maria, the waitstaff, and all the contributing members who helped make our day as special as it was. I highly recommend their services, and if I had to do it all over again I would do exactly what I did. Thank you Wellesley College Club!

Understated elegance! The large flagstone patio for the cocktail hour was very special, the meal delicious, the sound system great. Our 100 guests had a very fun and relaxed six hours from start to finish . The photographer in particular loved the natural and architectural beauty of the Wellesley College campus, and as a result, the photos are gorgeous.. Everyone at the Club with was professional, personable and very accommodating. Highly recommend this venue!

Think about guests count since College Club can only 150 people. This venue is probably best from Spring to Summer. So beautiful in the summer. Work closely with Maria and the rest of the staff- they're great!

My husband and I had our wedding at Wellesley College Club on June 25, 2016 and we could not have asked for a better experience. We had the ceremony outside in the grass under the "love tree" (as we call it) and then we had the cocktail hour outside on the terrace and dinner and dancing inside. It was lovely how guests could flow in and out of the building to make full use of the outside space throughout the event. Many of our guests, myself and my husband included, stayed in the guest rooms at WCC during the wedding weekend, making it have a "destination" type feel and allowing us to spend more time with out-of-town guests. Maria was wonderful to work with and she and her staff helped to make our wedding the best day ever! We could not have asked for a better experience-it was truly magical! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had been to and we believe the venue and Maria's work had much to do with that! It was a pleasure working with Maria, as she was very communicative, accommodated last-minute changes we had to make, and helped the day to be seamless. We highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

My husband and I worked with Maria and the Wellesley College Club for our reception after we eloped. I couldn't be happier with the service, food, and venue. All of our guests remarked how lovely the event was-we used the patio (which faces Lake Waban) for our cocktail reception and then moved inside for dinner and dancing. The set-up went smoothly and looked great on the day of, and Maria was always receptive to ideas and changes from both me and my mother (which could be very confusing!). I feel very lucky to have had my event here and would recommend the Wellesley College Club wholeheartedly!

Maria our event coordinator was great. She led us all of the way in getting everything set for the event. The tasting event was great, it made for a great meal selection. Food and service was great and venue was just beautiful.

When we started thinking about venues, we brought up Wellesley College as an option, as my wife is a graduate. As we narrowed down our list, Wellesley kept coming up as a viable option within our price range. We went to check out the College Club, and we loved it! From the seating area to the outdoor patio, everything was great. The location could not be more scenic, to the point where our photographer was so excited to shoot there that he came early for free! The staff and Maria were amazing, and she was very accommodating during the planning process and during our wedding day. The food was delicious, and the options presented to us were diverse and tasty. The dance floor was the perfect size, and our guests had so much fun moving from place to place; from the upstairs cocktail hour to the photo booth room and the patio, everyone enjoyed the setting and venue. It was also very nice and convenient that they have rooms available right there- it was so nice to not have to go anywhere after the reception. I highly recommend working with Maria and her staff if you are looking to get married in the metro Boston area and want a beautiful setting coupled with a stress-free staff and venue!

We had a great time getting hitched at the Wellesley College Club. We were attracted to the beautiful location and were not disappointed. It is gorgeous, peaceful, and inviting.

Maria and her team were warm, professional and responsive. We had a 3-month engagement and, fortunately, they were able to accommodate us for a lovely Friday night event.

We had a party of 39 adults, and we used ~half of the downstairs dining space, plus a small dance floor. They sectioned off the space, so it felt intimate, but not at all crowded.

The staff was extremely accommodating, especially when rain forced us to change our plans from an outdoor ceremony in to an indoor one. They set up chairs in the wall room upstairs, so we had a lovely Waterview, despite the weather. They also moved our cocktail hour inside, and it worked perfectly on the dance floor.

Our guests enjoyed the food, and the beer and wine selection was good. Maria was kind enough to suggest a children's menu for the younger kids. It was much cheaper than the adult dinner. The staff was extremely accommodating and very, very eager to please.

In general, we felt like the Wellesley club is priced very fairly. We had to rent our own chairs for the outdoor ceremony and we provided our own sound equipment.

We highly recommend the Wellesley College Club for weddings and other events.

Maria and the rest of the staff are professional, responsive, and clearly very experienced. Made wedding planning much easier than we thought it would be. And of course, gorgeous spot by the lake.

Maria was so helpful in planning a summer wedding reception with me, with less than 6 months notice. The experience was wonder-- she also helped with the Cake vendor , and was very flexible and helpful in answering my many questions, creating a tasting menu for us with the Chef, and creating a menu. Bar service, and all service, was handled beautifully. We could not have been happier!

Go for it. Beautiful setting. Staff is professional, friendly, flexible and accommodating. Chef is really good. He worked hard to make Indian dishes authentic.

Everyone at the Wellesley College Club was amazing. Maria and her team were fantastic and super helpful. The staff was friendly, professional, and on point. Maria anticipated our every need, was super organized, and very flexible to our requests. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the service, and the food was amazing. Our special day went superbly smooth thanks in no small part to them.

The setting outside was beautiful. The indoor space was a little dated. We also had some challenges working with the chef to create the plated brunch menu we wanted. Maria was great to work with.
