Nous avons fait appel à Julie pour l’organisation de notre elope en a Moorea. Mon fiancé et moi souhaitions une cérémonie intime dans un cadre fabuleux, un petit mariage qui nous ressemble. Grace à Julie nous avons eu une fabuleuse journée de mariage, notre mariage de rêve encore mieux que ce que l’on pouvait imaginer ! Pendant plusieurs mois nous avons échangé par mail avec Julie pour choisir tous les petits détails de notre mariage qui feraient qu’il serait exactement à notre image. Julie made our elopement experience in Moorea 1000x more special and perfect than we ever could have done on our own! She is amazing at what she does, she's a perfectionist and goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly. Julie is prompt and quick with communication, ironing out small details and any questions months ahead of time. She gives you her full and undivided attention during the entire planning process and builds trust. When I requested a certain kind of bouquet and specified the flowers I wanted in my grooms boutonniere, Julie delivered! She also took the time to write a poetic and heartwarming ceremony speech that we will cherish fondly. When rain was on the horizon for our ceremony, she coordinated with vendors to ensure the best timing. Don't hesitate to book with Julie, she is amazing and I'm grateful we got to work with her. -

We cannot recommend Julie enough, she is your woman, hands down, no questions asked.
I contacted Julie two years before our big day; initial planning, expectations & getting all the information I could think of. My plans were pushed back due to my partners studies & surgery. Julie was patient, informative & was in contact exactly one year later, to help us start planning our secret destination elopement.
We chose a legal ceremony, meaning paperwork ++
But I wasn't stressed at all, because Julie helped us step by step with a clear timeline, professionalism, email assistance 24/7 & answered every question we had (covering things I would never had thought of).
She turned our dreams into reality & created a wedding far beyond our expectations. The extra touches were phenomenal (bought a mango for us to share {special meaning for us} snuck a Polaroid photo & note into the certificate, i didn't find until we arrived home) took photos of us on her phone so we had some shots to cherish whisky waiting for the professional photos to com through... every detail of the day went smoothly, ran perfectly & we did not have to worry about a thing.
Julie helped us select everything, no detail was left out or too difficult to organise! Think; vendors, hair, make up, flowers, travel, boat rides, motu, time of day, town hall booking with the Mayor & legalities, translations, private dinner at the resort, assisted me to get ready, made us comfortable & calm etc. Every detail was accounted for, especially coming all the way from Perth, Western Australia! The journey to Moorea/ Bora Bora was the only hard thing, haha.
We had a dream & Julie bought it to life. You get much more than a celebrant, you get a wonderful, warm local, who not only knows everything about Moorea (where we got married) but makes it seem like you're the only couple in Paradise on the big day!

We recently had our wedding in Mo'orea and Julie was absolutely fantastic in planning our special day from day one to wedding day. Given that we were traveling from the US, she made everything very easy by coordinating with local vendors, hotels, transportation, florists, etc. We would highly recommend Julie and wedOtahiti to any couple looking to wed in French Polynesia.
We did our ceremony on a Motu just off Mo'orea and our reception at the Sofitel. We were very happy with all of our selections and our thankful the weather cooperated as well. -

Perfect Elioment in Moorea
Julie organized our wedding in Moorea, French Polynesia, and we couldn't be more pleased with her incredible service. She truly made our wildest dreams come true. From the moment she met us at our bungalow at Manava early on the morning of our ceremony, we knew we were in great hands.
Julie arranged for a fantastic hair and makeup artist for the bride, who did an amazing job. She also patiently answered all our questions about Moorea and ensured we knew how to arrive safely. Her organization skills were impeccable, providing us with an expertly planned itinerary that was easy to follow.
One of the highlights was the wedding photoshoot she arranged with black tip sharks and rays in a nearby lagoon. Everything went perfectly, creating memories we will cherish forever. While getting ready, we were delighted to see turtles and spinner dolphins from our bungalow. It was a magical touch to an already perfect day.
The ceremony Julie performed was absolutely beautiful. She went above and beyond by raking the beach at our chosen spot and circling it with flowers, ensuring the area was pristine and picturesque. Her attention to detail and dedication to making our day special were truly remarkable.
Julie, we are immensely grateful for all your hard work and dedication. You made our wedding day an unforgettable experience, and we cannot thank you enough. -

My husband Tim and I used wedOtahiti to plan our destination micro wedding in Mo’orea. We are based in New Zealand and we had never been to French Polynesia, so their help was so important for us. Nelly made the initial organisation process simple, including helping us with the paperwork for our legal ceremony. Julie was our celebrant and she was so great helping us on the day. She has a very calm and happy presence. She took care of the timings and everything on the day so we didn’t have to worry about anything. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a destination wedding or elopement in French Polynesia - they are experts and know the best vendors and information you just won’t otherwise have. We had a wonderful experience and can’t thank them enough.

We were very apprehensive about the entire process of getting married out of the country while trying to plan our elopement, however, Julie thought of everything!
She was very responsive and provided details regarding the vendors where we were able to make our decision and feel confident during the planning process.
For the day of she provided a detailed timeline and showed up to our VRBO with everything needed to make our day special. Everything including transportation was on time and ran smoothly, she made the whole process easy as well as special.
During the ceremony she surprised us with an incredible speech before our vows that included all the information we had given prior to the date. It was so memorable and even made us laugh at times. We will never forget the day we were married on a private island in Moore , Julie truly goes above and beyond to ensure you will never forget this once in a lifetime experience.
She also processed all documents so we were able to be married officially in Tahiti given we lives in the United States. The packet she provided after included her speech as well as our vows, I wouldn’t not book with anyone else but Julie! -

Once we arrived in Moorea, the entire wedding day was personalized and stress-free. From the amazing vendors (hair/makeup + photographer), to gorgeous local bouquet/boutonnière flowers, to her kind assistant Yumi who performed our ceremony - you will not regret letting Nelly take the reins to make your wedding day perfect! She even arranged a traditional Tahitian boat to transfer us to our wedding site, which was an unexpected and unique experience we didn’t even ask for!

Nelly and Yumi were amazing!! Nelly coordinated everything for our entire wedding day (and even recommended a travel planner as well). Trusting someone to plan your wedding in another country seems scary at first, but Nelly made everything so smooth and easy, helping to relieve stress on us. Spending money on a wedding planned was the best decision ever! Nelly had great communication and made vendor coordination so much easier. We had to change our wedding ceremony time last minute, and Nelly was able to communicate that with us and our vendors to make sure everything still worked out! Yumi was our wedding officiant on our big day and she is just the sweetest. She helped with our flowers, and other small details, and was able to translate with our hair and makeup vendors (who were also amazing). Everything was PERFECT! -

A complete joy - so thankful!
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have been referred to Nelly and the WeDoTahiti team. Occupational pressures left no time for planning, so we engaged WeDoTahiti to plan our wedding and ceremony. Planning via email may seem scary and impersonal, but the result was anything but. Nelly asked specific questions along the way which gave her insight into our wants and needs. She also provided a questionnaire for each of us to complete about our relationship, how we met, our preferences, etc. The questionnaire was thorough enough to capture the essence of our relationship without being burdensome. TIP – don’t read each other’s answers before the ceremony. Seriously, don’t do it. The day of our wedding, the team of Yumi, Audrey, and Maryline arrived promptly, and worked professionally and with such kindness to ready us for our ceremony. We had a driver pick us up, an outrigger canoe to take us to the island, and we never once had to wonder “what do we do now?”. Our ceremony was so very personal, we were moved to tears throughout. Nelly’s entire team was delightful. We are so very thankful! -

We are so thankful to Nelly for coordinating our elopement! The day could not have gone more smoothly (all vendors, taxis, etc were on time and extremely professional). It was a bit odd/unsettling/nerve-racking to plan a wedding all the way from California, but Nelly was very communicative via email and reassuring throughout the entire process. She has excellent local contacts and deep connections with the people she works with.
The ceremony Nelly wrote was so special - we loved every moment of it. We were both very emotional listening to the words she wrote that incorporated all of the important parts of our relationship.
Yumi, her day-of coordinator and officiant, also did an excellent job and was very professional and helpful from start to finish. The florist (Delphine Grassone) did a beautiful job with the flowers and arch, and they turned out better than our inspiration pictures. And the ukulele duo (Hauata) was very talented and made the ceremony on the private islet magical.
Both the makeup and hair stylist were fantastic! Audrey (The Showroom by Audrey Bodilis) & Maryse went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out perfect. We really appreciated all of their help and attention to detail (and how lovely and nice they are too!). And the private lunch that Nelly arranged for us with Chef Marc Lintanf (ML L’expérience Culinaire) was by far the best meal we had on our trip! Both the food and service were exceptional.
Lastly, we had so much fun with Helene (Helene Havard Photography) & Sam (Flying World Pictures)! They are a spectacular duo and the pictures and videos turned out better than we ever could have imagined! We will never ever forget our special day thanks to everything they captured.
If you are thinking of eloping in French Polynesia, look no further. Nelly will make sure every detail of your day is arranged to perfection! -

Stress free and top notch experience!
We have so many amazing things to say about Nelly and her team! We eloped on Moorea and from the initial email to the ceremony we knew Nelly had every detail covered (which is tough when one is planning from a distance). She frequently checked in with us regarding our ceremony details, which were so personalized and special. My flowers, hair and makeup were EXACTLY what I had imagined. However, the highlight our our elopement was interacting with the team she has created. From our officiant Yumi, to the lovely ladies doing my hair/makeup, Helene our photographer, to the owners of the Motu we held the ceremony on, everyone was so professional and friendly. We felt right at home and had 0 stress. Thank you so much, our elopement was amazing! We would highly recommend Nelly and her team and will be back to renew our vows soon :)

We chose to elope in Moorea and wanted a unique wedding ceremony tailored just for us, we did not one of those silly wedding packages that came with the hotel. And Nelly more than delivered that for us. She is organized with lots of great vendors to chose from. Nelly helped us organize hair and make-up, photography, flowers, our dinner and taxis for everyone to get to our unique location, a private island. She coordinated our wedding seamlessly and the entire day felt effortless and relaxed. We really got to be in the moment and focus on our love and vows. The ceremony Nelly creates is so special and unique after you both fill out an in depth questionnaire. No stress! Everyone should do their wedding like this! -

Great Experience!
We originally thought we would spend very little money and do the absolute minimum to elope. However looking into it, it seemed a little more complicated than we thought. Therefor we turned to Nelly and her wedding planning services. This was the best decision we made for our elopement. She made everything very simple, easy and stress free. She had connections for all of the resources we needed (location, photographer/videographer, flowers, hair, makeup, dinner, transportation etc). All we had to do was decide on the options we were given and she was open to all of our ideas and suggestions. She established all transportation for every part of our elopement which made it so much easier and convenient. Everyone was very friendly, on time and made it very special for us. We could not have been happier with our experience and would not have done it any differently. I could not imagine trying to plan something like this without Nelly. -

She guided us through everything step by step in a very manageable way. We trusted her 100% with good reason.
She knows all the great vendors and gives great advice. With her extensive knowledge and experience she made sure that everything was well considered. She also made sure that all the practical and logistical parts of the day went smoothly.
But the most important part was the ceremony that she had written to us. It was so beautiful, personal, and touching. We both cried and laughed through the entire ceremony that was perfectly balanced.
We could not imagine going through our magical wedding without Nelly. She was such a big part of our day and created memories for us that we will never forget.

Nelly was an amazing officiant and partner-in-crime. Throughout our entire relationship, we always knew we would get married in Tahiti. So when we got engaged in 2019, we wasted no time in booking her, and she has been our rock ever since. She was gracious and accommodating when we had to push the date out another year due to COVID, and she took care of everything for us. From booking our pre-wedding mani/pedis and hair-and-makeup stylist to our photographer/cinematographer team and our post-ceremony dinner, she did it all. She gave us all the available options in each category and took care of all the vendor payments and communication so that all we had to focus on was enjoying our stay in Tahiti! Her knowledge of the islands and wedding vendors was absolutely indispensable. When I say we couldn't have gotten married in Tahiti without her, I mean that literally.
She arrived early on the day of the wedding with our hair and makeup artist to check out the venue space and scope it out for the best placement for our ceremony. She came prepared with everything we could possibly need – a glass for my husband to break (per Israeli tradition), and she even had an emergency sewing kit when we realized – in horror, a mere hour before the ceremony – that he had two buttons missing off his shirt!
We were surprised and honored to see that she had laid out a ring of petals for us to stand in for our ceremony. As we began, we enjoyed the beautiful ceremony that she wrote for us, perfectly tailored to our relationship. She even threw in a few quotes from our favorite television show (and the reason we chose Tahiti)! We were also privileged to enjoy a traditional Tahitian wedding custom: "In Tahitian culture, the sacred bond, the union of the two, is recognized by the tying of a strip taken from the Auti leaf, a plant sacred to Tahitians." It was so nice to have this personal touch for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect ceremony.
If you're looking to get married in Tahiti, don't book at an overpriced venue or hotel. You will blow your life savings on a cold, generic, ordinary ceremony. Why do that, when you could have a personalized, tailored experience from a dedicated and knowledgeable local expert and all-around genuine person? Do yourself a favor, and leave your special day to Nelly. -

After our traditional wedding was canceled due to “2020” and we decided to elope at the start of our planned honeymoon in French Polynesia. Nelly was really the catalyst for this “Plan B” because without her, it would not have been possible, or anywhere near as beautiful or meaningful. I reached out Nelly a year before my wedding day after deciding to get married in Moorea. Nelly was instrumental in making us aware of the options available on the island, and the local vendors that we would otherwise not known since we are not French speakers and many vendors don't have an online presence that we can connect with. Throughout the year, Nelly was so responsive (within a few hours) every time I reach out with new ideas and requests; and she gave her honest opinions and suggestions around possibilities/costs to help me make my decisions. When the pandemic strike and our travel plan became uncertain, Nelly reached out to offer assurance that all the vendors can accommodate a future date if we decide to postpone. We ended up downsizing our wedding to an even more intimate elopement with just us and two guests. Nelly was flexible with our change of plan, helped us with a few last-minute food and decor decisions, and gave us a detailed day-of itinerary. We had so much confident in Nelly's planning that I was not at all worried in the days leading up to the wedding. On the morning of the wedding, all the coordinations came to life as expected. I was only a tiny bit nervous at how the final wedding arch would look like, and it turned out lovely. The day went by very quickly with the ceremony, photography, and lunch at our private villa by a chef (which was the most delicious food we've had in French Polynesia) to end the celebration. Nelly made this distance planning the easiest and most stress-free experience for us, and we're so glad we found her so that we don't have to settle for a resort wedding template.
Planning a wedding is challenging enough; planning one in a foreign country pretty much give many people anxiety. I wholeheartedly recommend Nelly to any bride who is considering a destination wedding in French Polynesia. Her service is worth every penny and saves you all the headaches and frustrations that I see from my other friends who planned their own weddings. Where to start?...why not with answering the real questions that are on your mind 1. Was the expense worth it & 2. Would you hire Nelly again? The answer to both is an absolute YES!
The hubs and I hired Nelly for the We Do It All package and she really did do it ALL! We had three big events outside of the wedding day -> volunteer event for 50 guests, pre-wedding excursion for 55 guests, welcome party for 82 guests, and everything in-between. We are absolutely positive we couldn’t have done it without her support and connections and appreciate all she did to make each event perfect and uniquely 'us'!
We started our journey with Nelly about 11 months before our destination wedding in Mo’orea. Before we hired her we met in person and she took us around the island to show us all the places that could house an 80 person wedding (and to make sure we could work together). She was honest with us up front and helped us understand that ‘big’ weddings aren’t common on the island, therefore the venue selection was limited unless we went with a big resort. Further she was open that the language barrier and lack of internet access for many vendors would make it difficult for us to plan from the US.
All of the above mentioned items were an understatement, and we added quite a few more to the list - transportation, holidays, international wire transfers - to name a few. In the end, Nelly helped sort through the noise and made those things look easy.
Two of our favorite things about Nelly is how well she is connected with vendors on the island, as well as having an exceptional eye for design. She’d simply ask for our vision and then execute it beautifully or recommended great vendors that would compliment our style!
Nelly also knew just what to say to keep the bridezilla at bay! Even in trouble spots, like a brides worst nightmare of having to switch wedding venues a month before the wedding day (100% NOT her fault), she handled with poise, extreme professionalism, and worked that much harder to make our dream wedding venue a reality! We knew we had high expectations and she was always willing to listen and either go make it happen or respectfully talk us into reason 🤣.
Nelly thank you for making our dream wedding week a reality! Every single one of the events turned out GREAT and all of our guests are still talking about it being the best wedding they’ve ever been to!
Final recommendations - Lilikoi Garden (Laurence) made incredible food for pre-wedding events, Marc Gerard Photography (& Bille) for both wedding day + trash the dress were fantastic, chef Stefanie made delightful wedding dinner, and Andher Visuals stole the show with their incredible videography 💛. -

My wife and I wanted a destination wedding without the stressful planning and catering to hundreds of people-we wanted it to just be us, simple, but also unique. Initially, we had booked a simple wedding ceremony out of one of the hotels that we were going to be staying at during our stay in French Polynesia, but the ceremony was very "cookie-cutter" and the same for everyone who chose it. Then, my wife found Nelly Grange through a series of officiant searches, and it was the best decision that we could have made to hire Nelly to perform our ceremony! Nelly is extremely communicative and responsive-she always answered emails promptly and professionally-and she was very engaging throughout the entire process, even from halfway across the world before we met in person on our wedding day. I would highly recommend planning your wedding through Nelly. We knew we wanted a unique wedding in a beach location and came across Nelly and the beautiful place of Moorea. As soon as we started contacting her we knew she was who we wanted to go with to plan our special day. She was extremely patient and went through all our options and told us a bit about the area and the island. She made us feel extremely comfortable and relaxed through the whole experience. She made our planning very stress free and fun! We sent her many inspiration pictures of what we wanted our set up to look like, our hair and make up etc and she put together something better than we ever could have imagined. On the day I couldn't even remember what hairstyle I'd looked at 9 months ago but she had the photo on her phone and was able to show the ladies which was really good! She dealt with all the vendors and was across every little detail of the day. Any request we gave her was never too hard and she'd always reply to us extremely quickly. We did a Google search for wedding planners in French Polynesia and were lucky to have found Nelly.
Our journey began with Nelly 10 months before the wedding and from the very moment we started communicating with her, we knew that we wanted her to be our wedding planner. She is extremely responsive, professional, patient (I changed my mind on things several times!), and makes sure you're okay with each step of the process before proceeding with the next.
When people ask me, "How was the wedding?", I always say, "It was more that we could've hoped for." I really believe that Nelly was the biggest factor in making our wedding such a success. She kept us on-time on the day of the wedding and officiated our ceremony beautifully with personal touches (yes, she is also an officiant!). All the vendors she recommended from the florist to the makeup artist to the hairstylist were absolutely perfect. We were especially impressed with the pastry chef and the caterer because we weren't able to do a typical tasting, but all the food was delicious and the cake was the best wedding cake we've ever had.
Nelly is really the best and I would highly recommend her to plan any wedding in French Polynesia. If she were here in the States, I would be recommending her to everyone I know. Thank you, Nelly, for making our wedding more than we could've hoped for!

Hoda Sent on 04/25/2018Having your official wedding in Tahiti is beautiful and a dream...Until you have to do the paperwork- and collecting documents. Nelly is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of marriage documentations and more. If I could go back in time, I would definitely have Nelly do everything for me from A to Z - hassle and stress free. I got to meet Nelly when desperately looking for a mandatory certified translator in Moorea, Tahiti on the day of the wedding. There are too many rules and regulations under the french law and trust me you don’t want to be missing any. Nelly was so very helpful, and thorough in her explanations , she even went over and beyond explaining where to get the documents certified and stamped after the wedding.
Bottom line, you will be in great hands with Nelly. Don’t make my mistake ;) and try to do everything on your own. -

The beauty of the place would speak for itself in photos and the all around enjoyment for my guests that decided they would make the long trip to French Polynesia to share in our day with us. As I started to plan the wedding it became obvious to me very early on that it would not be easy, with the time difference and language barrier and other things that were proving to be difficult. I decided that I would need a wedding planner and after doing just a little research and speaking to a few people it became clear that Nelly has a reputation that simply cannot be beat!!
And it is absolutely true, she is just amazing! She is very responsive and easy to work with, because of her knowledge and relationships with vendors in the area and her patience while working with you, even if you have special requests (my groom was gluten free) and the extra care and details she provided. Arriving in Moorea I was anxious to meet her and see what she had put together. The day of the wedding as I walked around before the ceremony and was finally able to see everything that she had been planning and working on I was completely taken back and so impressed, everything was absolutely beautiful!! Somehow without ever meeting us and only a little input from us she captured a vision for the décor and feel that was spot on. If you are planning a destination wedding in Moorea it just will not be complete without the help of Nelly and her team!
