As mother of the groom and one far removed from planning any recent weddings, I was skeptical about wedding planners and the associated expense. How wrong I was. Wedicity, specifically Kristina, helped organize the bride and groom from start to finish, offered cost savings suggestions (which exceeded the planner costs), executed a flawless wedding day, and most importantly, allowed everyone in the wedding to enjoy themselves. I don't say this lightly, but the gratitude you have towards someone who cares about the event as much as the bride and groom do is immense. We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Tionna and the Wedicity team for our wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! Planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming, but Tionna’s expertise, professionalism, and dedication made the entire process seamless and stress-free. From the start, she truly listened to our vision and immediately understood the aesthetic and vibe we wanted for our big day.
Tionna provided full planning support, and her involvement went far beyond the wedding day itself. She was with us the entire weekend, coordinating the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and even arriving early to assist with welcome bags for our guests. Her meticulous organization and thoughtful approach ensured every event felt cohesive, stress-free, and perfectly tailored to us.
On the wedding day, Tionna’s incredible designer eye and attention to detail truly shined. I had several dress changes, and she managed everything flawlessly, ensuring I could enjoy the moment without worry. When we decided the day of the wedding to move the reception indoors due to the heat, Tionna handled the transition with ease. She even made a great adjustment to better incorporate our cocktail hour space, creating a seamless flow that our guests raved about.

The Wedicity team was great from start to finish. We were paired with Kristina who ended up being a tremendous help to us now that we no longer live in Chicago. No matter our vision, from simple asks to some out there requests (Champagne lady highly recommended), Kristina provided numerous options enabling us to select the ideal vendor for our vision and budget. Their website also provided a great way to keep everything organized and on track for the big day. Not only did we have a great experience prior to our wedding day, the day-of planning/executing was incredible. The team of 4 were like secret service agents, ear mics and all, keeping everyone and everything on track for an incredible event. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wedding planner in Chicago. -

Hiring Wedicity was, by far, the best decision we made in all of our wedding planning! We worked with Kristina over the last year and a half to help plan and coordinate our wedding in September, and we could not be more thankful for her hard work. Kristina was detail-oriented, incredibly organized, dedicated, and so professional throughout the whole process, and might be one of the kindest and most patient people we have ever met (especially with us when we had to make tough decisions and meet certain deadlines). She really took the time and care into getting to know the two of us and our personalities, and was a wealth of knowledge for any and all questions we had during the process. Kristina and her team also made the day itself run so smoothly- there was never a point where we ran behind schedule or had to worry about where we needed to be, she even did a fantastic job at handling some completely unexpected hiccups with poise and urgency!
All in all, we would recommend Wedicity to any and every couple that is looking to plan their dream wedding- you can really tell that this is a team that is so passionate and genuine in their work. Kristina- you were an absolute JOY to work with!! We truly could not have pulled this off without you and will forever be grateful for everything that you did for us. -

Hire them now!! Kristina at Wedicity was a true magician and my wedding this past weekend was a dream come true because of her! She will give you the reassurance that you need if you are feeling stressed with planning. We didn't have to worry about a thing - we felt so reassured that she had everything under control! Kristina honestly made our whole wedding weekend everything we wanted and more. From helping us find suppliers/vendors, to being there on the day, Kristina made the whole experience so enjoyable. All the stress of planning a wedding was taken away and we were able to enjoy the whole process. I cannot thank her enough for bringing our vision to life. She listened to us, was patient, and paid attention to every painstaking detail we wanted in our wedding. We had an unexpected table change request for the reception that I wanted to honor so Kristina and her team took care of it immediately without missing a beat or messing up the aesthetic of the room. It actually made the center table better! We cannot thank her enough for her hard work and dedication. I mean she even made sure to brush our velvet reception chairs so they would look smooth and perfect for our guests and the detail shots! I mean who does that?! The best decision you’ll make is hiring the Wedicity team!
This is the most difficult but yet easiest review I’ve ever written before. Difficult because it means I will officially no longer be working with the best wedding planner EVER! So easy because our wedding would not have happened EXACTLY how I pictured it without Giovanna Danno.
When I first started looking for wedding planners, I knew we wanted to partner with a company that prioritized experience, details, communication and for someone who plans events for work & in my personal life - they fired on all cylinders! I had researched for weeks and nailed the list down from 15-10 to 5 wedding planners I wanted to meet with. Wedicity made the shortlist.
At our first meeting, the owner Tionna was so friendly, detailed, enthusiastic but most importantly PASSIONATE. I was overjoyed and excited at the possibility to work with them. Tionna clearly knows what she’s doing when it comes to hiring an amazing team. Even though I primary worked with Giovanna, every team member I encountered the day of was wonderful & so friendly - they were ON POINT. The entire day went off without a hitch and if there was one, I certainly didn’t know about it. I kept getting comments about how I looked so calm and it was because of them.
The entire process working with Giovanna was incredible. She was patient, kind, accommodating, thoughtful, incredibly detailed and organized - and really helped me put all the pieces to the puzzle together. Her professionalism was unmatched as I probably had over 15 vendors she had to balance working with on that day and it was PERFECTION. Giovanna is a rockstar and we are grateful for all of her recommendations and grace, while navigating all that was thrown her way. I’m still hearing three weeks later how this was the best and most organized wedding anyone has attended.
To summarize, I would absolutely hire Wedicity again I only hope I get to work with them again on our future vow renewals because of how seamless and wonderful our wedding was. 1,000/10! -

I am not sure where to even begin with Tionna and Oviri at Wedicity. I guess i'll start by saying, I am the type of person who thought I could likely plan a wedding on my own, but figured it was worth while to have someone assist in the last 90 days. My wife, Lyndsey and I, interviewed a few people but immediately realized that Tionna and Oviri not only seemed like they cared immensely about making the wedding of our dreams come true, but they instantly had some great ideas for us. Tionna was also so responsive to our initial inquiries (some others were not). Fast forward to actually working with them. Oviri and Tionna were not only responsive, attentive, but were also so caring throughout the process. We threw a handful of curveballs their way and they never seemed annoyed with us. They simply just found a solution every time we needed one and they did so quickly and with care. Their vendors that they recommended were great and they got us to the wedding feeling comfortable and excited for the day. The day of, our videographer (not picked by them but picked by us) was a no call no show. Obviously this was something that would cause the average wedding couple stress. They did not let it become a stressful part of the day for us. Instead, they quickly scrambled and with one hours notice they found us a replacement videographer who was amazing. From the moment they started working with us until the day after the wedding they were the perfect wedding planners. I do not think, actually I know that we could not have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without them. Quite honestly, they are the best money spent on a wedding and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire wedding planners. Thanks again Tionna and Oviri. -

Working with Wedicity was one of the best decisions we made that helped our wedding vision come to life. Kristina, our planner, was SO professional, responsive, helpful, proactive, and organized throughout our year and a half engagement. She always kept us on track and gave a ton of recommendations to keep our wedding in-line with our vision and budget. The venue we went with required a lot of outside vendors (we had over 10) and she managed the communication and integration of them all so seamlessly. If you're looking for help planning any event (not limited to weddings!), Wedicity offers different packages and will deliver on all of your needs! -

Tionna and Kristina were so attentive and wonderful for our wedding and such a pleasure to work with. The whole event wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if it wasn't for them. Both of them were there to help me get into the dress and help me adjust it all the extra little things. The button on my sleeve came off at one point, it was a small detail but Tionna jumped into action, pulled out her sewing kit and secured it. Kristina ran over to help me into my dress the next day for the reception when the person that was going to help me into the dress was running late. The entire time they were so professional and on top of EVERYTHING. We can't thank them enough for all that they did, we couldn't have done it without them!! You will NOT regret hiring them to handle any and all parts of you wedding! -

Hiring Wedicity was truly the best decision of our wedding planning process!!! We started off with Tionna, who helped us get the general idea of what we were envisioning for our wedding figured out, and then Giovanna took over as our lead planner. Both Tionna and Giovanna were a DREAM to work with. As the big day inched closer, Giovanna was on top of every single detail, making sure everything was buttoned up and there was no stone left unturned. We just got married on Saturday and we have had so many friends and family members tell us how impressed they were with Giovanna - and so were we, of course!! She was so calm, cool and collected throughout wedding day, treating my husband and I with so much kindness and love while being a true professional and making sure everything ran smoothly in the background. We never felt rushed, pressure or stress - we truly got to enjoy the day and weekend to the fullest because we knew Giovanna and her team handled everything and trusted them fully. Our venue suggested we use Wedicity and it was the best decision ever. Kristina worked with us and our busy schedule to find times to meet and keep us on track to make sure our wedding was perfect. Kristina was absolutely amazing to work with and truly made our wedding planning and day of experience the best it could have been! We hired Wedicity for the 90-day and day of coordinator services and I couldn't imagine not having their support throughout the process. Kristina was super organized, professional and on-top of everything which I loved. But she was also super nice, flexible and fun to work with which was a bonus. I also really appreciated that she was open to feedback with the timeline and even day of was super flexible with making some minor adjustments to ensure we got all of the photos we wanted which meant a lot to me. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about our experience and highly recommend booking Wedicity and Kristina!! -

My now wife and I got married on June 4th, 2022 and we used Wedicity as our planners (Tionna Van Gundy and Camille Turley). I can honestly say that our wedding would have been 60% worse if it wasn’t for Wedicity and their expertise.
Going into the wedding planning, my wife and I didn’t know how much went into the planning of the wedding and all the moving parts on the day of the wedding. Tionna and Camille were there every step of the way when we had questions or needed advice. I would reach out at all hours of the day and they were exceptionally responsive. They had recommendations when we needed help and we loved each and every vendor we used.
When it came to the week of the wedding and the day of the wedding there is no one else we would want overseeing our biggest day than Wedicity. They were organized, deliberate and friendly during the entire ceremony and reception. My wife and I felt truly free to enjoy the day and not worry about a single thing.
If you are considering using a wedding planner, you are a smart person. If you are considering using Wedicity, you are a brilliant person.

Working with Wedicity to help plan our wedding was the best decision we made! My wife and I worked very closely with Tionna and Camille and they were truly the best team ever. We utilized WediCity for our wedding in June and could not be more grateful and impressed by the support we received throughout the process. Right away, we were drawn to Tionna and Wedicity because of her sophisticated organizational system and process. The software used helps create a clear understanding of what needs to be worked on and when.
As we started working with Tionna and Kristina, we learned just how essential they were to our planning experience. They were organized, encouraging, thoughtful and took the time to know us as a couple and understand what we were looking for on our wedding day. They provided great guidance and suggestions throughout the planning process. We felt like they were true ally of ours and were as invested as we were in the success of our event.
Going into our wedding day we felt so, so prepared because of all the prep that Kristina did to support us. She left nothing to chance. We cannot recommend Wedicity enough! Our venue recommended I look into Wedicity for a day-of planner. As a highly organized person who already hired all the vendors, I initially resisted the idea of a day-of planner. Once I met with Wedicity, I was blown away with their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for their clients. Wedicity, specifically Tionna and Giovanna, exceeded our expectations! Despite their title of “day-of planner”, they help you plan details 3 months before the wedding. They take care of everything. Seriously - from emailing and coordinating your vendors, creating a detailed packing list, helping create a seating chart, bustling your dress, and hand delivering everything to your suite at the end of the night. Everything was seamless and so beautifully executed. It made the wedding day 100% stress free. Every detail was perfect and this would not be possible without Wedicity. Tionna and Giovanna were available not only to my husband and I, but to our entire wedding party. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned. At one point, my makeup smeared and Giovanna literally helped me reapply makeup before our first-look pictures. At the end of the night, we returned to our hotel room to find all our gifts and ceremony items carefully packed away along with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and rose petals. We would trust Tionna and Giovanna to do just about anything and everything! You cannot go wrong hiring Wedicity! -

Worth Every Penny!
As MoG, it pained me so to see the "kids" stressing in the early planning stages. They work full time and have a puppy (from hell, I might add). I suggested, nudged and pleaded for them to get a planner. Finally, when I said I would pay for it, they were on board. Whew.
Tionna with super back up help from Giovanna assured that we would have a perfect event. There was not even a hiccup. It was splendid. -

I can't say enough amazing things about WEDICITY! From start to finish Tionna and Sam were AMAZING! Their knowledge of the industry, creativness, professionalism, and experience is something that is un matched. They came with us to every appointment and brought up so many great questions and ideas I would never have thought to ask. They were super responsive to all my questions especially during this crazy wedding year we just had.

No matter your budget, I will ALWAYS recommend to anyone planning a wedding to get a planner. There is SO MUCH you don't think about - which is not your fault if you don't plan weddings all the time! Luckily, Tionna and her team are experts. They were so easy to work with, and best of all, they were super organized! I myself am an incredibly anal person and like to have things planned, pre-planned, even pre-pre-planned. I fell in love with Tionna's same like-mindedness. The tools they use to manage all the details is the piece de resistance. It made it so easy to communicate and collaborate with the team to make sure that your vision is executed to perfection. Having to postpone our wedding due to covid really threw a wrench in the whole operation, but thank goodness it was Tionna to the rescue! The second it was announced that we'd have to reschedule she was ON IT and got all of our vendors rescheduled and updated contracts. Not only that, I also lost my mom early in 2020, and Tionna and her team sent over a lovely arrangement, completely unexpected and really shows you what a compassionate and wonderful person she is. I told her probably a dozen times, but I hope she knows it - We TRULY could not have done any of this without her. A true gem! -

With the state of the economy, shut down of city of Chicago, and pandemic, we had to scale back our original wedding plans! Tionna Van Gundy, founder of Wedicity, met our expectations for our special day by keeping a conservative budget, consistent communication with vendors, and maintaining an optimistic approach in planning.
I recommend Tionna to all our friends planning a wedding, no matter what the size or circumstances, she is the perfect planner to work with. She is prompt in her communication, professional, and maintains a calm demeanor through each obstacle that comes your way.

Flawless stressfree execution
When we decided to on-board Tionna as our full time wedding planner, it was purely on the basis of her fantastic vibe and the calm and comfort she exuded. Little did we realize at the time, that this would turn out to be the best decision we took for our wedding. Tionna went above and beyond with every single detail right from understanding our vision for the wedding, helping us pick the right photographer, videographer, caterer, following a meticulous timeline, while ensuring that we never once felt the stress of our big day approaching. On the day of our wedding, Tionna and her team at Wedicity had every moment planned out, and all the moving parts organized spectacularly, all the while helping us enjoy the day without a worry in the world. So much so, that she even had a lint remover sent at a moment's notice all the way to the photoshoot venue, just so that the pictures would be perfect. And they truly were!!!

Wow!! 5 stars aren’t enough to describe what a phenomenal wedding & Event planner Wedicity is!!
Our company enlisted Tionna to design and execute our annual wedding industry gala for our 2020 magazines and couldn't be more thrilled with the results!
She came up with an inspirational, truly lovely vision and we can't thank her enough for all the hard work (hours and hours and hours) and love she put into it to make her stunning vision come to life. Tionna’s incredible organization from beginning to end made everyone's job much easier. She lead the entire vendor team with efficiency, professionalism and kindness throughout, allowing each person to showcase their best work. With the beautiful venue still in its opening phases, there were many obstacles to overcome but you would never know it as an event attendee.
Tionna is an absolute pleasure to do business with as she approaches her work with passion, warmth and enthusiasm! She brings creativity and out of the box thinking to all situations. She gives 110% to every every task and is an excellent communicator. I appreciate her impeccable follow through and I highly recommend working with her. -

First advice about weddings I heard was, "if you can, get a wedding planner". But, I didn't get just planner, I got Tionna and her team! From my first meeting with her, I could see her experience and her strive for excellence. She took initiative to collaborate to with my vendors and had an online portal that kept it all organized. There were so many little details that they just knew how to take care of. The communication - AMAZING
WediCity let me experience my own wedding without stressing or thinking about logistics. Everything was just perfectly taken care of in the background. I felt like a queen being gently ushered from one amazing part of my wedding to another. I don't know how I could have planned a wedding and loved it so much without Wedicity's help.
Also need to mention how much Tionna rocks the non-traditional ceremony format! We had inexperienced officiant and she walked them through everything. They felt so comfortable by the time of the ceremony. She knew about all the little movements that are necessary to make it look cohesive (and get good pics). We even got the more traditional guests raving about our ceremony :D -

Working with Tionna and the Wedicity team made our whole engagement time and wedding stress-free. We could not have asked for more! We gave Tionna our vision for the event and she turned it into a reality even better than we could have imagined! We had a lot of specific requirements, being that it was a destination wedding with a lot of guests, and it was going to span over three days. We thought that it would be difficult to plan such an event, but that didn't seem to phase Tionna! Honestly, there is not enough good things I can say about Tionna and her crew. We hired her for her full services, and she exceeded all expectations. She was patient as we took over 3 months to pick a wedding venue, going all over the city to show us our options. Impressively, the one we ended up choosing was on her first list of suggestions -- we just stupidly didn't want to see it at first! She helped keep us within our budget, and calm. When getting married in a big city like Chicago, the amount of options can feel so overwhelming. Tionna narrowed that down, and anyone she suggested, we immediately trusted. My husband and I were able to enjoy our special day, without worrying about any details and logistics. We just showed up to see our dream come to life! At the end of the night, she made sure everything got to our hotel, and even had a special surprise in our room (which I won't give away and spoil for any future couples, but it was very beautiful). Hiring Tionna was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day. Despite being a very organized person I knew that I needed someone to take care of all the day of details and be the go-to person in case anything were to go wrong.
From the moment I first met Tionna I knew I needed to work with her. She is so kind, genuine, and really listens to what you are communicating. She helped us choose some of our vendors, jumped in to find us potential alternative ceremony locations when we were unsure of our plan, and was very quick to respond to any question, no matter how small or big.
She was able to create a very detailed timeline and communicate with all of our vendors in order to make the whole day run smoothly. From running the rehearsal, to coordinating all the day of details, to fixing any problem or issue the day of, we can’t thank Tionna enough for taking us on as clients.
To be honest, we both were able to TRULY enjoy every single minute of our wedding knowing that Tionna had our back and was going to handle anything that came her way. If you are looking for a DOC, do yourself a favor and hire Tionna and her team ASAP! We were referred to Tionna by our baker (Erin Martin @ ECBG). We met with her and immediately hit it off (helps that she's from OH just like husband). Tionna's fees were slightly higher than we were looking to spend so we met with two other planners. After all our meetings we decided that Tionna's professionalism and experience were worth the expense.
Even though we only hired her for Day-of planning, she began working with us 5 months out. She was always available via email, in addition to the 2-3 in person meetings we had with her. Some of our vendors had worked with Tionna in the past and they had only good things to say about her, like that she was very organized and low-drama. Two qualities which are so important for your planner to have.
Her impeccable planning made it so that by the time our wedding day arrived, we didn't have to worry about anything. Honestly, the day was perfect. If anything went wrong, we had no idea. Tionna and her team completely transformed our reception space. To this day I'm not sure what type of magic she was able to pull off, but our reception looked AMAZING.
Our wedding was on a smaller scale and a smaller budget than some of the weddings profiled on Wedicity's website. And yet, we never felt like less of a priority to Tionna. She gave us the same attention to detail and support as I'm sure she gives all her couples.
If we ever have to plan a large event in the future, we will without a doubt reach out to Tionna & Wedicity. She helped make our dream wedding a reality. HIRE HER NOW!!! -

My husband and I worked with Tionna leveraging her Full Service Wedding Services, which means we started working with her starting a whole 11 months before our wedding. Overall, this was unequivocally the best decision we made throughout the entire process of planning our day. While we simply cannot rave about Tionna enough (her flawless professionalism, prompt communication, consistency in service, willingness to help for any issue no matter how big or small....) there are a few items she particularly excelled at and surpassed our wildest expectations:
- Vendor Referrals -- we chose a venue where we had to essentially hire everything a-la-carte; Tionna had outstanding vendor recommendations, from caterer to floral to cake baker to DJ/Band that precisely fit our style and helped us stay within budget.
- Decor and Design Assistance -- she is outstanding at understanding the style and taste of a couple, as the decor input she gave us across the board from floral to linen selections to even feedback/direction on all our stationary and printed materials was exactly what we were thinking but couldn't quite articulate as eloquently and direct as she could.
- Communication & "calming of the nerves" -- her calm tonality and graceful way she handles anything thrown her way are unworldly. She approaches things briskly and understands urgency but handles it with the calmness of a scented candle. There came a point my mother started reaching out to her directly, in addition to my anxiety as we approached the date, and she consistently & selflessly gave us confidence and assurance during the process. This personally was one of the most important things to me throughout the year.
- Dedication - Tionna and the Wed-icity team stayed throughout the entire night of our wedding, until the very end, including taking care of all reception and personal items & lovingly/securely placing everything in our hotel room. Her philosophy is that NO ONE should work on wedding day---except her team! This was so incredibly important to myself, my family and bridal party.
- Cultural understanding - My wedding was a combo Italian/Lebanese backgrounds coming together, needing to have a Catholic ceremony but not able to have it in a church. Tionna helped immensely with the "marriage" of our traditions and backgrounds in regards to ceremony and reception detail, including understanding the importance of finding a cookie baker that could make cookies from "around the world" suiting everyone's tastes.
What stood out to us about Tionna even when we first spoke with her was her humble approach to servicing the couple--- being such an outstanding listener, in tune with everything we described and always helpful/additive vs. ever making us feel like we were making 'wrong' decisions. Her light hearted humor made everything (even stressful decisions) continue to feel 'light,' while still giving us the sense of how seriously she takes the work. This all punctuated the experience my husband and I had throughout the last year and truly made our "wedding" last so far beyond one day---in the best way possible. We will forever have memories of how seamless (and FUN) the process of working with Tionna was. If it isn't clear already, we couldn't recommend her more. -

I've been struggling to find the right words to fully encompass our gratitude for all the impossible and astounding hard work and care Tionna put into helping make our wedding day the best day of our lives. What I can say is that everything went exactly as planned, was perfectly timed and spaced out, and we did not worry once the entire day.
Tionna’s help and guidance from start to finish created that safety net that my fiancé, my mother, and I all desperately needed. That knowledge that at the end of the day, someone would be there to help prevent us from falling behind or forgetting to take care of an important detail in the planning process. Tionna checked in on us regularly, providing detailed checklists with due dates to keep us on track. Those checklists made this process feel more manageable and gave us a sense of satisfaction to see each item checked off as it was completed.
But what we valued the most was how Tionna created an environment where we never felt uncomfortable or silly asking questions. She made a point of reminding us to enjoy the process as much as the end results, and to not back down from prioritizing and personalizing the parts of the wedding that we felt strongly about. We always felt like she understood our priorities and made sure we attained them.

Choosing Tionna and the Wedicity team was the best decision I made while starting to plan my wedding. Tionna made the day go perfectly. Every detail was handled, all guests delighted, and our ceremony, reception and everything before and in between all went so well I still can’t even believe it. My husband and I enjoyed every single moment of the wedding - getting ready that day, the trolley ride, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, visiting with our guests, and danced the night away without a single care because Tionna and her team were so completely on top of every detail. She helped us find everything we needed for the wedding, took the reigns on all the tedious vendor communications, kept us organized and on track with planning, and SO MUCH MORE. Do not plan a wedding without Tionna.
This review cannot start any other way besides this: do not have a wedding if you are not going to hire Tionna.
It might be actually impossible that Tionna Van Gundy is a human. A wizard? Sure. An angel? Absolutely. The modern day wedding lord and savior? No doubt. A regular human? Not possible.
Background on us as a couple: relatively organized, deeply in love with our friends and family, hell bent on having a good time always, dead set on ensuring our people have a good time. As we took on the beast that is wedding planning, we were quickly overwhelmed with the level of detail so many different things needed that was well beyond any realm of either of our experiences – I work in pediatric healthcare and he is a high school teacher. We were referred to Wedicity and Tionna through Erin Martin, a good friend from college, at ECBG (peep our review on her page because there is no one better for your cake and sweets table dreams). With our budget in mind, we admittedly called Tionna with some hesitance at one more thing to budget for. However, after a roughly 15 minute phone call, clearly outlined expectations and what would be provided, our entire budget was readjusted to accommodate Tionna’s “Day Of” planning package, which included 3 months before and up through the day of the ceremony. We COULD NOT BELIEVE how affordable she was for everything she offered, and looking back now we honestly would’ve paid 3x+ what we paid her for everything she did for us.
For those of you who don’t like to read long paragraphs, I’m going to list the top 10 things Tionna did for us and hope it encapsulates the level of professionalism, skill and sheer knack combined with pure talent Tionna has for helping you craft a day that will surpass your dreams, hopes and expectations.
1. Tionna accompanied us to our dinner tasting and florist meeting which you may not think is worth bringing your wedding planner to, but please understand how helpful it was. For the tasting, she came prepared with an organized list of preferences, the start of the timeline for our day, and helped us manage conversations with a passionate yet pushy sales associate to ensure that we got what we wanted. She took my place at the florist meeting when I got the flu and helped my mom Facetime me in so I could still participate, despite being wildly contagious and bound to my couch.
2. Tionna kept us motivated, organized and focused with separated, clear and concise checklists to ensure we were taking care of the right things in the right order. The software that comes with her services is so easy to use, so helpful and became our lifeline throughout the planning process.
3. Tionna offered genuine opinions when asked, helpful advice when needed and clear guidance throughout. It’s crystal clear how much she cares about her clients and how much experience she has all over this industry to help you truly decide on what is best for you and your partner.
4. Tionna set up meetings with us at times that were convenient for us, giving us her full time, attention and listening ear, and never made us feel rushed, silly or otherwise. She was even so understanding and kind to us after we mistakenly missed one of our final meetings.
5. Tionna helped us and our officiant, a mentor of mine from college, craft the most beautifully symbolic, authentically representative and uniquely beautiful ceremony. Tionna has a wealth of knowledge across all the faiths, cultures, rituals and traditions and helped us combine a 3-faith circumstance into the most amazing ceremony. The undertaking of writing our own ceremony had us lost, confused and overwhelmed and we would have quickly abandoned the idea had it not been for Tionna.
6. Tionna was timely, efficient and wildly helpful with every single e-mail we sent, question we had and phone call we made. I literally don’t think we had anything go more than 24 hours before it was answered in full, often times with documents or further advice to ensure we were well informed and clear in our decision.
7. Tionna took care of all the necessary paperwork, contracts, insurance, etc. etc. etc. and ensured we had everything submitted on time, signed on the dotted line and took care of keeping all the important paperwork organized. We could have probably managed this on our own, but to have it neatly organized and cared for was such a nice relief.
8. Tionna was generous with the physical materials she already has, which saved us a bunch of money. It was so kind of her to allow us to borrow things she had from other events.
9. The night before, Tionna ran a perfectly timed rehearsal which helped our entire wedding party feel better, more confident, and was a wild relief for not just my groom and I, but our parents as well. She reminded us of our places, timing, when to stop, when to start, where to turn, how to smile, what to hold, how to be, etc. etc. etc. I genuinely don’t know how we would’ve gotten through the rehearsal without her.
10. The day of. I have absolutely no words. Her and her two assistants, Anesha and Ashley, arrived on scene and literally jumped into action, managing everything from where flowers and dresses were to getting the maintenance staff to cool off the getting ready room. One of them (I have no idea who) was kind enough to go back to our hotel to grab the garter I forgot in my room. They were literally like ninjas, managing the show from the behind the scenes while also making things magically appear, disappear, and happen from the moment they arrived until past the moment they were gone.
Above all, she ensured that not just my groom and I had actually the most magical day, but that our parents could be part of our day alongside us rather than managing everything she and her team managed, which is beyond invaluable (particularly when both mom’s are super Type-A people ). Tionna went further above and beyond the call of duty in advocating for us with the venue and our venue contact when there were several issues with dinner that should never have been an issue. Needless to say, my parents, nor the groom, nor his parents nor I had any idea any of it happened, because Tionna and her team are that good.
Please do not consider planning or executing a wedding without Tionna and Wedicity. We are eternally and beyond grateful for their time, attention to detail, skill and genuine love for what they do that gave us the memories of a lifetime.

The details were absolutely stunning with a large Mr & Mrs Sweet table and beautiful decor throughout. Her team was extremely organized and on time. We waited till the last minute to ask for assistance, but Tionna jumped in head first and began assisting us with the planning process about a month out and was onsite to ensure everything went smoothly. We had some issues with our venue and Tionna handled the situation with professionalism and ease, despite my husband and my frustration. She was detailed, organized, easy to work with, funny, and calm. We fully trusted she had everything under control and that she would ensure our wedding day would be flawless.
The day of the wedding, Tionna was onsite bright and early to assist with the venue setup, vendor load-in/setup, and the family and bridal party arrivals. She made sure that my husband and I could solely focus on getting married and being able to enjoy every moment together, by handling the venue contacts, vendors, timeline, and every situation that came up. The best thing you can do for your wedding is hire Wedicity. Camille was the most integral part of ensuring our wedding day went off without a hitch and I cannot recommend her enough. I started working with Wedicity about a year before our wedding - and right from the start Tionna put my fears at ease and reassured me that everything was on track. Throughout the process vendor recommendations and quotes were exactly on point and I was able to keep track of my priorities thanks to the extensive checklist the team provided. However, what really makes me say "you NEED to hire Wedicity" was the work Camille put in the week of our wedding and on the wedding day. By nature I am typically a bit stressed out, but I was so calm and relaxed all day thanks to Camille's hard work. All of our vendors worked together flawlessly, our timeline was PERFECT (we were even running ahead of schedule during some parts of the day!) and our wedding vision was executed perfectly. Set up was perfect without me touching a thing. Tear down was completed when I had already left for our afterparty. Everything was packed in our hotel room when we got back. We just got married July 16th, 2022 and hired Tionna and Camille to help plan our wedding....I mean, just wow. These ladies are unstoppable. Our wedding day could not have been more seamless because they were behind it. We did the 90 Days of Detail plan with them, and from the get-go they quickly familiarize themselves with your vendors, your vision, and the tiniest of details. Amongst the madness that is the wedding industry, they never stuttered, looked flustered, or gave us any impression that things were crazy (which, they were because myself and my family changed our minds every 5 seconds!!). They took every new bit of news with grace and a smile. Not to mention, they are just lovely people all around. When I caught glimpses of them at the ceremony rehearsal or even before the reception started, I truly felt instantly calm knowing they had everything under control! After the reception was over, I couldn't find my wedding shoes (took them off before the dance floor) the card box, my flowers, all these things that I just kind of thought (hoped) we'd find in the morning. Wedicity grabbed everything and put it in my hotel room at some point in the night. They also straightened the entire room (cleaned it up from the morning of getting ready with my bridesmaids) and dropped tons of real, beautiful rose petals on the floor and on the bed. It was such a treat at the end of the night. Just one of the many ways they went above and beyond. The work Wedicity does is special, and if you're looking for a wedding planner, there's no other way to go.
