One of the best decisions was to go with Redwood Canyon. It was absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The process was made really easy and the venue staff helped through everything. There is never any miscommunication. They guide you step by step and answer all of your questions and more. The venue itself is beautiful and so is the grounds. Everything is included which is super convenient. I’m very glad to have been a wedgewood bride. My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Great staff, great food, great venue. -

We are so grateful to Ana, Liv, and team for their incredible help for our wedding reception!!!! They made everything flow so smoothly and the vendors they suggested all came through as well. The day of was a breeze thanks to their coordination. The ballroom was beautiful and the food was excellent. We got the prime rib, chicken parmesan and tortellini and our guests raved about the food afterwards! We held our wedding reception at Wedgewood Weddings Redwood Canyon in Castro Valley on 08/31/2025, and we are beyond grateful to the entire team for making it such a perfect evening. Planning a reception in a short time frame (we began our first conversation with Ana, our Wedding Planner, on 07/26) could have been stressful, but the Redwood Canyon staff turned it into a smooth and enjoyable experience.
From the start, Ana (Wedding Planner) and Liv (Wedding Coordinator) guided us through every detail and kept us completely at ease. On the day of, Aleece (Banquet Captain) led the flow of the event seamlessly, supported by the banquet team — Jovany, Liz, Brandon, and Alina — who provided warm, attentive service throughout the night.
Steven (Head Chef) and his kitchen team truly outdid themselves — the food was brilliant, beautifully presented, and they even customized one entrée to our needs, which meant so much to us and our guests.
Roberto (Bartender) kept the drinks flowing all night with the top-shelf package. His fast service, great energy, and attention to detail made a huge difference for our guests.
DJ Chris was phenomenal — even though he was new to Indian music, he absolutely nailed it and kept the dance floor alive for nearly three hours straight. The décor team made the room look stunning and created a warm, inviting atmosphere. The photographer captured every moment beautifully, and the photo booth was another highlight — our guests had a blast with it and we’ll treasure those memories forever.
Even behind the scenes, everyone was thoughtful. The security guard was incredibly helpful, professional, and ensured everything outside the venue went smoothly — something we didn’t think about beforehand but appreciated greatly.
From start to finish, the timeline and flow of the evening were perfectly managed. Every last-minute change (including adjustments with tables) was handled with flexibility and care. We walked away with full hearts and endless gratitude.
To anyone considering Redwood Canyon: not only is the venue gorgeous, but the staff are what make it truly exceptional. This venue is so great! My husband and I had such a positive experience working with this staff. Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and helpful throughout the planning process. The package value is great given they include simple wedding planning. Some advantages of choosing Wedgewood are: 1) in house preferred vendors are experienced in working together. Wedgewood also streamlined the payment process for these vendors so you only pay one bill. 2) in house wedding planning services are great. Liv was great in the initial consultation which helped us understand the value of different packages. Alison did well in our first planning meeting which set up 70% of all the details. Jacoby was awesome and helped us bring the wedding to the finish line. I appreciate her day of coordination work which ensured we stayed on schedule. Banquet manager Jovany kept our needs well attended throughout the night and was so efficient with clean up. They packed all our belongings for us so we don’t need to do much. The in house photographer API Jaredd and Jade are very professional and efficient with their time. They worked well with Wedgewood planners and know all the good spots to take pictures. My husband and I were engaged in October 2023 and began looking at wedding venues the month after. We then finalized our booking with Redwood Canyon in January 2024 to give ourselves ample time for planning and financing for our big day on May 26th, 2025. Since we live on the East Coast and majority of our families reside in the Bay Area (I was also born and raised in San Jose), we wanted to find a venue that can provide an all-inclusive package and bring our vision to reality - and Redwood Canyon checked all of those boxes... even going above and beyond. We are very happy with the entire process that led up to our special day and the outcome of our wedding.
*1 year prior to the wedding*
Despite our wedding being a year out, the team was very accommodating when we asked questions about the overall vibe and venue look. They kept us updated with some of the renovations they were making at the time. When we wanted to do a physical tour in June 2024, they fitted us into the schedule and showed us the actual colors of table cloths, napkins, lighting, etc.
*8 months prior to the wedding*
The wedding team sent us an invitation to the Fall Wedding Extravaganza Fair for late October 2024 - inviting all couples who have confirmed a booking. We unfortunately couldn't make it since we were in the East Coast, but they accommodated us by including our friend couple residing in the Bay Area to take over our place. Our friend couple FaceTimed us during the entire event to make us feel like we were there! They commented how it was nice to try out all the food options they had in the package to know what foods the couple would like to finalize for their wedding day. They also enjoyed the fun activities the DJ curated - there were two opportunities to win a prize from those activities.
*5 months prior to the wedding*
This was a two-hour call with the wedding team to go over our vision and details. We would recommend going over the binder they'll send in advance after you confirm booking with them. I forgot the name of the person assisting us, but she was very patient and fun to talk with! She reassured us that if there were changes we'd like to make over the next few months, they'd be happy to accommodate.
A few months later, vendors contacted us to further discuss additional details - officiant, cake, DJ, and florist.
*1 week prior to the wedding*
We had Jacoby as our amazing wedding coordinator and Ana to assist on our special day. They reviewed and confirmed details as well as what to expect on our Rehearsal Day, which was a day prior to our wedding. We loved their positive attitudes and professionalism throughout the process!
*Wedding Day*
Despite how fast and chaotic it felt, we truly appreciate Jacoby and Ana for keeping us on the right pace, consistently checking in with us, and making sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the day. If there was something I, my husband, our wedding party, and family needed, they were quick to provide it. They also knew where to put our decor and took some behind-the-scenes photos to share with us after our wedding.
We had our photographer, Hayden from A Perfect Impression, who suggested all the right poses, shots, angles, and places to take our photos. Our DJ, Saul, was very accommodating with a song request and some changes that we communicated through email and text - the vibe of the ceremony and reception was perfect. The food was fantastic, the photobooth provided high-quality images that we could receive through a texted link.

If we could rate it more than 5 stars, we totally would! We are truly happy that we chose Redwood Canyon for our wedding - an amazing and friendly team with a beautiful venue that accommodated 80 of our guests! -

Redwood Canyon by Wedgewood Weddings was the best decision we made! The entire team was easy to work with, friendly, and made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. Our coordinator, Allison, was so kind and thoughtful — she made sure we had quiet moments to breathe and was always smiling. The banquet captain, Liz, was great too and kept everything running perfectly. The venue is stunning, the food was absolutely delicious, and the weather was perfect. One word: Perfect. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, I can honestly say I have never felt more at-ease and confident than while working with the Wedgewood Weddings Redwood Canyon team -- they always had our backs, kept us on track, and made us feel taken care of. From the first venue visit, during the planning meetings, all the way until the rehearsal and wedding day, the professionalism, clear communication, planning resources, and organized approach made for a seamless experience.
We worked with Allison as our Wedding Planner and Coordinator and I firmly believe that she is one of the main reasons our wedding went as incredibly as it did. Redwood Canyon, provides a planning binder as soon as you sign that includes monthly checklists ahead of the wedding to help keep you organized in between planning meetings. It is also filled with valuable information about the wedding planning process, examples, vendor questions, and general guidelines. It helped us structure the planning process without losing the ability to truly personalize our event. Every meeting we had with the planning team was concise, direct, and organized -- it helped us stay on track throughout the process and gave us the opportunity to discuss ideas and ask for advice (which they are also more than happy to give via email). Super responsive and accommodating -- we were so impressed with how easy the process was. We also partnered with their recommended Bakery, DJ, and Florist as part of our vendor team, and the coordination between venue and vendors was absolutely seamless...by the time the week of the wedding rolled around all the main aspects were locked in and we knew the event was in good hands.
The wedding day itself was perfect. Allison served as our Day-Of-Coordinator, and together with Jacoby (co-coordinator), Liv (banquet captain), Liz (banquet captain), and rest of the team (cooks, servers, bartenders) we had the most incredible wedding. We arrived at the agreed-upon time on the day of the wedding, and from that moment onwards, the Redwood Canyon team took over to deliver the best experience. They were organized, calm, kept us well hydrated and fed, and kept everything on track for us all night. We were able to confidently hand off the reins -- we didn't have to think of anything all day other than having a good time and enjoying our day as much as possible, trusting that all the logistics were in good hands.
Overall, the venue itself was gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the Arbor Lawn, our Reception in the Grand Ballroom (we initially chose the venue primarily because of the dance floor), and rented out the Rose Room for the Cocktail Hour. Everything was included and beautifully decorated with all our desired personal touches, the food and drinks were delicious, and the planning and coordination services must be some of the best in the business. I can't imagine a more incredible experience than what we had and am so thankful for the Redwood Canyon team's care and professionalism -- especially Allison, who we were fortunate enough to work with from first meeting through the day-of. The wedding day went off without a hitch and I couldn't recommend the Redwood Canyon team more -

We only had our reception at Redwood Canyon with Wedgewood. We had our ceremony at a church beforehand. We highly recommend Wedgewood and loved everything about our reception. Some of our guests told us that it was the funnest wedding reception they had ever been to. Everything was really organized and flowed seamlessly. The DJ company Wedgewood is contracted with did a really good job with everything, as well. We also loved our photographers from API, the company Wedgewood works with. The food and drinks were great, too.
Working with Wedgewood was really smooth and took away some of the stress of wedding planning since they do much of it for you based on your selections. They have reasonable prices. We also had amazing wedding coordinators. Our main coordinator was Mari, and we also worked with Kat. Both were extremely polite and helpful, and the whole team was easy to reach by email whenever we had questions outside of the 3 meetings that we had. The only thing I wish that Wedgewood did that I feel like they didn't really do was tell us to make Save the Date cards early on if we wanted to and give us some options for making them. We didn't end up sending any out, but we did make our invitations through Wedgewood, which went well. I do think that websites like The Knot have more options available for wedding invitations, however, so I recommend to look at other places for invitations to see what fits you best.
Overall, Wedgewood was the perfect company for us on planning our wedding, and we would not hesitate to recommend them. It was an amazing day for sure, and Redwood Canyon is a beautiful venue. -

We loved our wedding at Redwood Canyon with Wedgewood. The staff was quick to respond to our questions and concerns and made the planning process easy. Since we were planning a wedding from out of state the all-inclusive concept of Wedgwood was very appealing to us and made our planning streamlined and less stressful. All of the vendors through Wedgewood were great to work with. Many of our guests commented on how good the food and desserts were and the DJ was kept everyone on the dance floor all night! Zayra was our day of coordinator and she fantastic, she took the stress off of us and made sure everything ran smoothly. We cannot recommend Wedgewood enough! -

As we were searching for a wedding venue here in the Bay Area we knew what we were looking for-- somewhere that had a nice indoor ballroom area (since the wedding was in the Summer), would not be as much work (my wife is working and going through nursing so school so we knew we would have limited time planning), and was affordable-- Redwood Canyon by Wedgewood Weddings was able to meet all of this and exceeded expectations.
From our first meeting Adilyne and her team were very friendly, professional, and responsive (would always reply to emails/texts almost immediately). My wife had very specific things that she wanted for the ceremony and reception and Adilyne was able to bring this vision to life. She was very detailed in helping us prepare for the big day with checklists and check in's that made sure we didn't fall behind in the planning. She was also able to provide us with creative ideas when we weren't exactly sure how we wanted something. One of the things that we really loved about Wedgewood is that they have their own vendors that they provided that really had an understanding of the venue and what worked/wouldn't work (i.e. DJ (Jeremiah) knew exactly how to setup everywhere and we didn't have to worry about mic/sound issues, bakery (Karen from Danville Bakery) was very knowledgeable about venue and already knew how to work with our florist (Dana) to get us the cake decorated the way we wanted it; photographer/videographer were familiar with when the sun was going to set and knew the best places to take all of our bridal party photos and sunset photos). This immediate chemistry between the vendors made the planning process and the day of the wedding very smooth.
When it came to the day of the wedding, our vendors all did an amazing job and rarely had any questions for us other than what our vision was for certain things. If anything, they were the experts on the day/venue and provided us with the support and guidance that we needed even when things didn't go exactly according to schedule. Adilyne did a great job making sure to check in on the bride and groom while also making sure everything ran very smoothly. When we had any requests, Adilyne took care of it immediately. By the end of the night when she had left for the evening, Liz took over and did a great job in making sure that everything continued to move smoothly while also making sure all of our items were packed up nicely (they also loaded everything onto a cart for me so it was very easy to load my car the next morning).
All in all we had an amazing wedding and were able to enjoy our days with family/friends with little to no hiccups. We are very grateful for the experience and would highly recommend to anyone! -

Our experience with the Wedgewood Redwood Canyon team was amazing. The process went so smoothly, and we have only good memories from our wedding day. The venue is gorgeous and we got so many amazing photos on the property. We were looking for an inclusive venue because we knew as a couple we were ill-prepared for wrapping our heads around all the ins and outs of wedding planning details, but Wedgewood went above and beyond with their coordination services to make it so easy to have the kind of beautiful wedding we never thought we could. We went with the Premier package but all the packages have flexibility to accommodate specific needs or visions. Each of the coordinators we worked with along the way was wonderful, especially Mari who helped us with the final planning stages and was our day-of coordinator. She and the team did an amazing job with our decor and theme, and we felt well taken care of on the wedding day. The food was absolutely delicious, and so many of our guests told us how much they loved everything they ate. The vendors on their preferred list were all a dream to work with, including the DJ, the florist, bakery, and photographer. We would recommend them to any of our friends or family for a relatively smooth and low-stress option to throw a beautiful and memorable wedding! -

Redwood canyon had everything we were looking for within our budget. Ceremony and reception in the same area food and drinks on-site, and a day of coordinator to handle everything for us. We had looked at several different places and didn’t feel like anything really fit for us until we found this place. Not only did we love the venue, we loved the ease the coordinators put us in and the no-pressure approach they took with us. We got EVERYTHING we wanted and more, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with redwood canyon, they took care of all the “dirty work” aka everything I didn’t want to stress over. They made sure all of the vendors knew what they we’re supposed to do day of and truly made our best day the easiest day. Their ability to take care of every detail exactly as I wanted allowed me and my husband to enjoy every second of our wedding. The food was amazing a ton of compliments on the venue, food and drinks. Whenever we have another party, we would pick this venue again and again each and every time! A true thank you and appreciation goes out to our coordinators Mari- thank you for helping me clean up my dress after dragging it thru the mud in the rain! You are the bomb with everything in that Fanny pack of yours! Thank you to Kat- for understanding every detail we wanted in our wedding, for doing everything including reading my mind! HUGE THANK YOU to the entire team to make sure our drinking hands were never empty! And thank you for packing up ALL of our stuff when the wedding was over we can’t thank you all enough! -

Our dream wedding was only possible because of this amazing team. Weather in California decided to have a tantrum and gave us flooding and thunder storms in the last 3 months. Working with Redwood Canyon team made it super easy and stressed free. Although, we did not celebrate our ceremony at the original location due to flooding, Redwood gave us options after options on where we could do the ceremony instead. They are so amazing to work with especially Kat. Everything went so smoothly and just as we imagined it. The reception was so fun and then decorations were totally in line with our vision. Kat executed it so perfectly. It's bitter sweet that It came to an end already. They made our dream wedding to reality. The transition to banquet manager was also smooth! Love this team and location. P.S. Food is incredible too and all their associate vendors are topnotch! -

My experience from the scheduling of the first tour, all the way through to the end of my wedding night was 99% amazing. (I'll get to that 1% in a moment.) The way that Wedgewood handles so much in-house made it incredibly easy to keep track of everything that needed to be arranged, fewer vendors I had to keep track of, and it made the budgeting process simpler.
Any time I sent an email with anything from one to twelve questions (or more!), I received a prompt, thorough, and friendly response. As a first-time bride and someone who has had the luxury of being a bridesmaid to low-maintenance brides, I had very little experience with the whole wedding process and there was so much involved that I didn't know a thing about until I started planning my own. Not only did they provide excellent support from beginning to end, but their whole system is designed to make it as stress-free and organized as possible.
I want to extend a HUGE thanks to our coordinator Mari, our banquet manager Jovany, our servers Manuel and Thea, as well as our bartender Roberto. They were all excellent and really went above and beyond to make our wedding day spectacular!
Okay, so as for that 1%. I do have a complaint about the security. Wedgewood automatically added a $300 security charge to our bill, which seemed perfectly reasonable. However, we had one security guard and she spent the entire wedding in her car, on her phone, parked outside the back entrance.
At one point, a bridesmaid left the locking bridal suite door open and my maid of honor found guests in there lounging on the couch. Now, realistically, there was not a single person in attendance that I didn't know personally and trust, but the entire wedding party had left phones, purses, wallets, etc. in that room so I didn't want anyone who wasn't explicitly given the code to be going in and out, plus my dog was crated in there and it was stressing her out.
Of course, we didn't expect security to memorize the faces of everyone allowed in there, however, my maid of honor is a highly non-confrontational person and wanted assistance in asking these guests to leave the bridal suite. After searching for the security guard with no luck, she eventually had to ask the bartender Roberto for assistance. (Thank you, Roberto!)
I did include this issue in my survey that Wedgewood sent me after the wedding and was also highly disappointed that I didn't hear anything back from them about this issue at all. Honestly, I think a refund of the security fee should be offered, but I would have been happy with at least an acknowledgement of the issue. In my mind, we paid for a service that we never received.
But yikes, I'm letting my rant run away on me! Overall, I really cannot recommend Wedgewood highly enough, hence the 5-star review despite having one gripe. The venue was beautiful, food was delicious, and all other service was top-notch. If you choose Wedgewood for your wedding, you will not be disappointed! -

Redwood Canyon was the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. We went with the premiere package and got everything taken care of through Wedgewood -- food, drinks, cake, flowers, Save the Dates + invitations, and DJ were all included in this package. It was WONDERFUL!
We worked with a few different Wedgewood planners up until the final month when we were assigned to Mari. Everyone at Wedgewood was amazing, they all knew the answers to our questions so quickly, and were absolute experts from day 1. We felt so taken care of with them. Mari was a DREAM as our day-of coordinator, and Jovany was so kind and helpful as our Banquet Host the rest of the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help us make our wedding special.
We got our flowers through The Flower Shop, which is Wedgewood's flower vendor. Erica was awesome! She made the most beautiful cascading bouquet for me that took my breath away. Everyone's bouquets and boutineers were so lovely. Our Wedgewood package included centerpieces and a piece for our sweet heart table, and we paid for the bouquets for the bridal party, bridal bouquet, and boutineers. It was very reasonable in price! We were so happy with Erica from The Flower Shop's work.
Wedgewood uses Old Danville Bakery for their wedding cakes which is what we used. I will say I was nervous because they didn't respond to our email confirming cake flavors for a while, BUT they are working on weddings, and are busy running a business. Wedgewood let us know it was normal to not hear from the bakery until after the final confirmation meeting (10 days before the wedding date). We heard from them a week before our wedding, confirming our flavors and cake size. Not only was the cake was gorgeous, it tasted amazing! We even swung by there a week after the wedding to get some other baked goods because we loved them so much at the wedding. 10/10, great decision.
Our DJ was Joseph and he was fantastic. Their company sent us an online form to fill out with music for every step of the process. It was so easy to fill out, and any music not listed on their system we were able to add via email or Spotify playlist. Joseph had a call with us the week before the wedding to confirm everything, and sent us spotify links to create playlists of our "Must Play" songs and our cocktail hour / dinner music. It was so easy, and Joseph had an amazing energy that radiated in the space. We loved him!
Living in the bay area, I've known people who have spent a lot of money on their weddings. It's understandable. Our wedding planning process was not only made easier with Wedgewood, but it also helped us a lot because we were able to save money (and time) by not having to go to outside vendors. Not only did we save money and time by going with Wedgewood, we also had a really beautiful venue with an amazing crew of people. We were so delighted by our experience with Redwood Canyon by Wedgewood Weddings, and I will continue to recommend them to everyone getting married! -

Perfect Wedding!
I had my wedding on April 22 and Redwood Canyon was wonderful in my wedding planning process. They helped me with all of my crazy and little details. The flowers were beautiful even though I gave no direction and the cake and dessert table was exactly what I asked for. Things that I stressed over was easily taken care of and my day of wedding coordinator was so understanding and anticipated my every need. She never let my “drank” get empty. The decor that I dropped off was beautifully executed even when I went OCD on the deets, got everything right! Would plan a future non-wedding event at Redwood. -

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience working with Mari and the rest of the team at Wedgewood! The experience from start to finish was well-organized, with great pacing of the meetings and information needed from us. They are partnered with excellent vendors who made our wedding day the absolute BEST day. Since they are all-inclusive, all the vendors had worked together before and so the process was as seamless and stress-free as is possible for a wedding. On the day of the wedding, Mari did a wonderful job remembering all the details that we had asked about in both our meetings and the extensive emails that we sent her in the months preceding (thanks Mari!!) We would definitely recommend the Elite package, especially if you have guests that love drinking. The outdoor ceremony venue was stunning and many of our guests told us how much they loved the food afterwards (especially the carving station). Mari was great about offering honest opinions and suggestions about the best food options, lighting, decor, table setup, etc. when we asked. Our only suggestion to the venue would be to have the option for a second bartender, as our guests were heavier drinkers and would have benefitted from this.
Overall, we have no regrets that we got married here and would highly recommend this to any of our friends/family! -

I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else because Wedgewood Redwood Canyon made everything perfect. From our first meeting with Zoe where we fell in love with the ceremony site, to one of the best days of our lives, you guys made it so easy. The ease of having an all-inclusive wedding package made wedding planning enjoyable and less stressful. The binder that we received with all the information that we would need could not have been easier to follow. Megan and the staff were always so helpful with any questions that we had, especially during these covid times and having to postpone our wedding to a year later. Planning all the details was fairly easy because of all the choices that were provided from linens to reception decor. Our final meeting couldn't have gone better with Kat. She was so thorough and made any nervousness or stress go away because she was just so knowledgeable and genuinely excited for us. Allowing us to have our two dogs be a part of our wedding was just the cherry on top. Being able to drop off our decorations the day of the rehearsal was very nice and knowing that the Wedgewood team would be handling everything made our wedding day extra special because we only had to focus on getting married and none of the decorating. Everything was just so beautiful. Kat was so attentive as our day of coordinator and always made sure to check in on us and asked if we needed anything. She made sure we had our food and drinks ready and even helped make sure my very anxious dogs had plenty of treats and that they were as comfortable as can be. Our night ended with Zayra and just kept the perfection going. She made sure we had all of our decorations all packed and ready to go, and even sent us off with a delicious care package that we definitely enjoyed that night. I really can't say it enough, but you guys made our wedding perfect. Thanks for everything!

Perfect wedding after COVID
Redwood Canyon was amazing! We originally had our wedding scheduled for August 9, 2020, but COVID derailed our plans. Megan and the rest of the staff were very understanding of the dilemma and helped reschedule for August 29, 2021. We loved that it was a one stop shop and the binder they provide is so detailed and helpful. Our day went off without a hitch and we loved everything about it. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an experienced venue where they truly take care of you every step of the way. -

Amazing! Dream come true!
Redwood Canyon was my dream wedding venue! I thoroughly enjoyed having a wedding package that included a planner, a dj, florist, baker, bartender, decor, catering, photo booth, and an officiant and even extra opportunity to add things on like the draping I wanted for the ceremony and for the reception and of course the donut wall!! All of the vendors treated my husband and I like we were a priority and worked hard to make our wants and needs happen! I worked with two planners at Redwood Canyon, Megan and Mari - They were both fantastic! Megan walked us through with a tour, and worked with us for our initial planning meeting. Then Mari took over and she made sure our day went off without a hitch! They made sure all the things were planned for happened and I had 0 stress day of because it was perfect and it was magical! Showed up and my bridal suite was ready to go with snacks and champagne!! Mari wonderfully came out during our professional photos and gave us and our photographers appetizers! Mari even graciously helped my MIL and Step Mom bustle my dress! Our bartender Roberto and servers Jovanni and Thea were awesome! Made sure all of our guests were happy, fed and that the drinks kept coming! They were all so awesome and at the end of the night made sure all of our personal decor was packed and ready to go so we could head out! It was an amazing day and I am so happy when I look back at all the pictures 😊 they made my wedding day dreams come true! -

AMAZING wedding venue and planning team!
My husband and I got married in October 2019 and we can't recommend Wedgewood Weddings Redwood Canyon highly enough!!! We met/were in contact with Zoe, Bianca, and Megan and then had Megan as our particular planner and day of coordinator (who did an INCREDIBLE job). Wow! Not only is the venue beautiful (the bridge leading to the private ceremony space sold us and the reception hall worked perfectly -- we just got some preview pictures and the setting is gorgeous), but what you're really getting with Wedgewood are the planners and preferred vendors! They made our planning SO much easier. We didn't have to go out and find every vendor - if they were preferred Wedgewood vendor, then we knew we could trust them and we did! We went with the Wedgewood florist, baker, chef, makeup/hair, DJ, and Officiant and were so pleased with each and every one. We were able to customize the reception hall as much as we wanted (we brought in a lot of extra decor that we made) and Megan and the rest of the team took care of arranging it all. Any time we had a question leading up to the big day, we got an email or phone call response immediately, which was so reassuring. You should absolutely book with Wedgewood Wedding Redwood Canyon! For us, the cost was unbeatable. When you have your first meeting, you will get a subtotal of what your wedding will cost (you're able to customize within their packages a lot). You will have a gorgeous venue and a team of support throughout the entire process! Thank you so much, Megan (and the rest of the team) for our dream wedding! -

Wedgewood Redwood Canyon was the perfect venue for our wedding. It’s close to hotels, shops, and restaurants yet surrounded by a beautiful redwood forest. The ceremony site is breathtaking, and the reception area is elegant and spacious. The entire place is an excellent backdrop for pictures and we even had a visit from a deer during our photo session.
Our overall experience was wonderful! Megan is a wedding planning superhero! She was so kind, patient, and really cared about us and our special day. Her attentiveness and communication was extraordinary! She really put our nerves at ease and made the stressful wedding planning fun and enjoyable. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. I’m certain our day was as magical as it was thanks to her! I will be forever thankful for everything she did for us.
I also want to give our event captains, Veronica and Gabby, and huge thank you! They made sure everything went smoothly and that our guests were happy. They took great care of us through the entire experience.
I would give Wedgewood Redwood Canyon 100 stars! They really deserve it!

I can't emphasize enough how pleased we were with our experience with Wedgewood Redwood Canyon. The facilities were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the team was amazing to work with - not to mention that the price point was a lot lower than some of the other places we looked at. Zoe was our initial salesperson and ended up being our day-of coordinator, and she did an incredible job. They made the planning process easy and fun, and they even provided a binder for us when we signed on, which is something a Type-A person like myself really appreciated. Their partners for the cake and flowers did a fantastic job too. Wedgewood as a company and Redwood Canyon in particular really helped our wedding day dreams come true! -

We saw this venue on Saturday and was helped by Megan. The great thing about this venue is that it comes with the cake backdrop, drapes & lighting for the sweetheart table. All together the reception area is nice, but we weren't too fond out of the outside scenery. Some areas, the grass was too brown. But there is a cute little bridge for photos. -

THANK YOU ZOE, MEGAN, & BIANCA! You three made our special day everything we could have dreamed for. From the moment we stepped foot on the premises we had an overwhelming feeling that all the details were going to be taken care of. I work full time with a toddler, so I didn't always have questions at the most convenient times - none the less, these girls had any crazy question I had answered, usually within minutes. I admire how well they work as a team to create the perfect day for each couple they work with. The communication and follow through on the back end of this company is simply amazing and everything you need for the most important day of your life!

I know not a lot of people read these but I whoever does, Redwood Canyon is amazing More importantly Mandy is amazing she took all the stress out of my day and made beautiful not once did she freak me out with anything and kept everything in a timeline so it all ran smooth she even decorated our banquet hall beautifully a lot better than I ever could she is definitely worth the extra money.. we pretty much splurge on her and having our cake made Danville Bakerydidn’t get fancy chairs, or table cloths or charger plate we kept it simple and yet Mandy was there and made it all spectacular even tho I did make all my decorations she laid them all out beautifully my day was perfect also going with their DJ was steal and he was amazing! And even though they don’t let you taste test the food before hand it is hands down the best we did chicken core don blue, roast beef, garlic mash potatoes and steamed veggies bread and butter and the buffet camewith 8 assorted salads which were all yummy if I could relive my wedding day I would it was spectacular and everyone that was there is still raving about itRedwood Canyon by Wedgewood Weddings's reply:

We wanted a venue that handled most everything within a reasonable budget and Wedgewood fit the bill. The planning process was easy with lots of guidance and staff available to answers questions at any time. The day-of was amazing. Everything was being attended to and we had nothing to worry about. All the decor was set up and looked wonderful. Megan was amazing as coordinator and so supportive and helpful. The hidden ceremony site is beautiful with the new redwood arbor and works perfectly for any size wedding. The vendors they work with are great from the flowers to the cake to the DJ. We had the buffet and the food was excellent. Even though they are constantly handling events and weddings, they make you feel like yours in the most important one. We had the most wonderful time and definitely selected the right venue. Highly recommend!!

They made this process very easy with no stress. The venue was beautiful and the food was great! The cake baker, Karen, from Old Towne Danville Bakery was friendly and her cake was the truth...it was delicious. The bartender Zoe was equally as helpful! Many of my guests asked how we found this location and raved about it. We could not have chosen a better place to say our I-do’s! We were very pleased and would recommend this venue to anyone. It is hassle-free and exceptional. Thank you Megan and Mandy! ❤️

Our Perfect Wedding!
We had barely 8 weeks to plan our wedding… remotely! It was a destination wedding for us and we live overseas. We got to physically see the place and meet with the organizers only 10 days before but they were so organized and our zoom meetings were always productive. Every detail was covered so the day of the wedding was absolutely stress-free and we were pampered all throughout, from the time we arrived at the holding room until the reception ended. Although I didn’t get to do a tasting of the food, most of our guests raved about it. Everything just fell into place. I thought it was near impossible to plan a wedding from thousands of miles away but their team made it happen. They made our wedding just perfect! -

Excellent Wedding Venue
We had our beautiful wedding at Redwood Canyon mid-September and we can't recommend this venue enough. Mari was our coordinator and she was fantastic to work with. Our wedding day went smoothly and my husband and I had the best time as well as our guests.
A few things we loved:
1. The decorations such as the draperies on the arbor and inside the ballroom were on point! We also added a wedding hoop feature behind the sweetheart table which was my favorite feature inside the ballroom. All these decorations were additions to our package and done through their preferred decorator vendor.
2. Guests loved all the food! From the hor d'oeuvres, to the prime rib, to the donut wall and tator tot bar, the food was great.
3. We loved the venue itself, from being able to have an outdoor ceremony to then moving the party indoors to the ballroom after. It gave me peace of mind knowing there was a backup plan for the ceremony if it rained for example or if covid restrictions reverted back to being more strict that there was an outdoor reception option (thankfully we didn't have any restrictions due to covid and we had a sunny/clear day). Everything was close to each other once you're in the ballroom (such as the bathrooms and bridal suite are right next to the ballroom) and there's plenty of parking. We took our couples' portraits after the ceremony outside on the golf course during golden hour and even after a drought year, the grass and trees were still so green in September. It made for a beautiful backdrop to our photos.
A few things I would change if I could go back in time:
1. Wedgewood's invitation selections are so outdated, I wish we excluded this option from our package. Our invitations we ended up ordering came out perfectly fine and shipped quickly but the only invite we liked was of course one of the most expensive options and the credit they gave us towards the invites barely covered half the cost.
2. We weren't crazy about their preferred floral vendor, the table center pieces (which were a part of the Wedgewood package) were very underwhelming. We also went with the same floral vendor for bouquets and boutaineers (these additions were not a part of the package and paid separately) and again, we were still underwhelmed. But the floral sprays for the arbor and bridge were beautiful and I'm glad we added those.
3. We went with their preferred cake vendor and though the cake was fine, there was not much of a wow factor to it. It was more plain than the inspiration photo I sent them. So if you're into simple cakes then they're a perfectly fine option. If you're looking for a more decorative/detailed caked, you may want to go with another bakery.
The above issues weren't deal breakers, I just want other couples who plan to have their wedding here a heads up on some improvements that can be made so they have the best day ever. -

Claudette Sent on 07/21/2018We took the risk of booking with Wedgewood Redwood Canyon when they first acquired the location and only had one wedding done. There were no reviews at all and not much pictures. What made us decide was Megan’s confidence and how she explained every detail during our visits.
When we signed the contract she provided me with a binder detailing every step of the planning process and all the vendors with our package.
I later worked with Mandy and she guided me through the whole planning process. She was fun to work with and answered all my random emails promptly. I LOVED her during our rehearsal she was able to keep both families in line (they can be a rowdy bunch) and things went smoothly as it can.
On our wedding day everything just clicked into place the staff was great and very friendly, the decorations was done as I asked and then some!
The ceremony site looked very nice with the arbor pieces and the flower petals. Unfortunately the stage site has some puddle on it and looked a little dirty that it got my dress wet.
Our officiant Brad was great and keeping everyone entertained and his talks with us, the bridal party and the parents before the ceremony helped a LOT!
The bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces and sweetheart table were gorgeous! Thank you Enchanted florist!
Food tasted very good, the guest loved the appetizers especially the mac and cheese. I think I had 3 slices of cake that night all the flavors tasted great and it looked very pretty!The DJ was very good at keeping everyone on the dance floor. BUT he forgot that we were going present the bouquet to a family member and announced a bouquet toss, it was fun in the end and I just gave her one of my bridesmaids bouquets.
The photobooth was fun It kept everyone entertained I could not get too many pictures the with guest I suggest to add another hour and try to go there with your guest as much as you can!

To make make a long story short our wedding was supposed to happen May 17th, due to Covid-19 and not able to have to get everything situated, dresses for bridesmaids not able to pick up, photographer unavailable, etc. we decided we would want to move the wedding to October, unfortunately Wedgewood does not have that dates available, the only dates this year available is the day after Halloween and the day after Christmas. Not being the dates we want we asked for our money back after they offered others their money back they're not willing to do the same because we're under contract. As stated in civil code 1441 the contract is void due to the situation with the country, however these people are given us the run around. Do not recommend them to anyone in the event that a tragedy happens they will tale your money and run. Considering we only had 2 meetings with them and no services were provided.
