We interviewed several officiants by phone an Debbie was our top choice. She was easy going but professional and really focused on what we wanted for our intimate wedding. She supplied some ideas for us and let us review and make changes so it suited our vision of our weeding ceremony. We highly recommend her to others! -

We had planned to have a friend officiate, but as it turns out, he wasn't legally qualified to (didn't meet either of the rules in VA), so we found Deborah about 2 months before the wedding. We explained the situation, and she agreed to perform the legal aspects, so our friend could perform the ceremonial parts. She was super easy to work with and very kind! Thank you Deborah! -

We spent some time looking for wedding officiants since my partner and I are not particularly religious and were not getting married in a church but come from religious families. Deb was very receptive of our thoughts and created a ceremony that was perfect for us. She met with us multiple times before the wedding date and helped walk us through the ceremony and make any changes so we could have the perfect Big Day! We would highly recommend her to others! -

Deborah was awesome. My husband and I had no idea what to have her say or do. We had very basic ideas on what we wanted for our ceremony. She helped us every step of the way and made us feel comfortable and confident with the direction of our ceremony. She even included our kids so they felt apart of it. Debbie helped us to craft our perfect day. She took time to get to know us as a couple. She gave us a handful of options for each portion of the ceremony ranging from poetic to succinct, and secular to spiritual. Then she used our choices to draft a script that we could edit in advance of our wedding day. The result was a beautiful script that was unique to us as a couple. She was also professional, polite, and punctual. -

Great experiences!
I get nervous meeting new people but Debbie is awesome, definitely warm and friendly, she made creating our ceremony so easy. If we were unsure of what to do she had plenty of ideas! We loved her knot tying ceremony and did that. The readings she has are beautiful and soooo many options. I am religious and my husband is not but she was able to make a beautiful ceremony for the both of us. We were supposed to have a big wedding but because of corona we had to change our plans and Debbie was super flexible and did our ceremony at my parents home. I am so thankful we found Deborah for our special day!!! We are so happy and can't wait to have her do our vow renewals next year! -

Deborah has amazing values and is willing to craft a very personalized ceremony script. We love that she gave us options and included us in writing it. She even sent us a draft a couple of months before the wedding so we could continue to make changes and finalize it up until the week of. -

Deborah was a pleasure to work with!
After lots of online research to find a wedding officiant who would fit our needs we luckily came across Debbie. After meeting her in person we knew she would be a great fit; very personable and relatable! Debbie responded timely to all of our questions and was a huge help in guiding us through the ceremony outline seeing as we did not really know what we wanted or where to start. She will share her opinions and offer suggestions, though was open to anything we wanted to add or change in order to make our ceremony feel more like “us.” We would certainly recommend Debbie to anyone in need of a wedding officiant! -

Deborah took the time to get to know us as a couple. From our love story to our spiritual beliefs, she made sure that she knew who we were in order to create a ceremony tailored to us. Our ceremony was so perfect and heartwarming, and Deborah definitely was one of the reasons for that. We got our official paperwork sent to our apartment soon after our wedding day. Debbie was easy to work with and very accommodating. We wanted to be very hands on in our vow writing, which Debbie supported. She did not go off-script at all, which was very important to us.
